hii, i had no idea u played pathologic 😯☺️ i'm still on the bachelor's route but i wondered how you liked it ('ve already been spoiled but i like it when ppl talk abt it)

to be honest, i've only finished P2 and the bachelor route in P1 because schoolwork burnt me out too much to continue it this year. i've been meaning to get back into it and finish the other routes now that i have a lot more free time. but anyways,

i loooooove pathologic and unfortunately i don't have a lot of really cool stuff to say about it like some of my other muts but i think u will enjoy it...there are a lot of things pathologic is about but i think love and connection (and the effects of their absence in the case of characters like dankovsky) is rlly at the core which i am always here for in any story. unsuprisingly my favorite part of P2 is artemy's relationship with all of his bound (who are all kids)...idk how similar his story is in P1 vs P2 though. it's also really beautiful atmospherically (and i mean that for both P1 and P2)

as a piece of horror, it's also amazing...i'm sure you've noticed but playing pathologic is uniquely upsetting sometimes. nothing makes you feel worse than killing plaguebearers in a fit of terror after trying to loot a house bc you're so desperate for something as mundane as needles or bottles. i had an anxiety nightmare about pathologic once (which i count as a good thing)

related to the post u rb'd from me: i genuinely love pathologic's gameplay. maybe it's just unique to me bc it's the only survival game i've played but the fact that you have to extensively plan out each day in order to get everything done and stay alive has always been really compelling to me; i actually restarted my P2 playthrough 4 days in because i wanted to see how much better off i could be for the rest of the game if i had a better start and planned better. and even if it's stressful i think it's a lot of fun

God i need to replay pathologic.

you can idea all you'd like! but as for what I imagine the au of the au would go, Twilight would fall ill with a draconequus specific illness, so her near-sister takes a huge risk.
