Goodbye Krakoa. Stay dead bitch. No more mutant islands.
Can we stop making ethnostates now like can we stop doing that in comics. Can we not keep saying "minorities are safe nowhere but in their own country that doesn't let certain people and also they might not even be safe because Evil People might get jealous and kill them". Ultimately this era has done nothing to explore why ethnostates are bad in any real way. It has done nothing to actually explore how being complicit in the creation of an ethnostate is a Bad Thing. We had some events but we didn't explore anything because we were too scared of making some of our faves look bad. I just actually hate the statements this era has ended up saying and I hate the fact that heroic characters are mourning over the loss of an ethnostate founded by eugenicists. These politics are ugly. And worse yet I see people mourning the loss of the fictional ethnostate like have we all lost our minds.

Turning Ideas into Reality: Your Blueprint for Success
Every innovation, every groundbreaking invention, and every successful business venture started with an idea. Ideas are the seeds of progress and change, and they have the power to transform your world. Ideas and imagination are the highest form of wealth (will be discussed later). However, ideas alone are not enough; they need to be nurtured, cultivated, and turned into reality. There are essential steps and strategies for turning ideas into reality, whether you're an aspiring entrepreneur, a creative individual, or simply someone looking to make a positive change in your life or community. Here are 10 steps: 1 Define Your Idea The first step in turning your idea into reality is to define it clearly. What is your idea, and what problem or need does it address? Write it down, create a vision statement.  The clearer your vision, the easier it will be to communicate and work towards your goal. 2.        Research and Gather Information Once you've defined your idea, research and being led by the Spirit of God is key.. Dive deep into your subject matter, industry, or field of interest. Understand the market and your potential audience. Gathering information will not only give you a solid foundation for your idea but will also help you identify potential challenges and opportunities. 3.        Develop a Plan A well-structured plan is essential for bringing your idea to life. Create a detailed roadmap. A business plan, project plan, or a personal development plan can help you stay on track and measure your progress. Be certain to keep within the gifts and talents God has given you. That is your “assigned “place. 4.        Set Achievable Goals Break your idea down into smaller, achievable goals. This not only makes the process more manageable but also allows you to celebrate small victories along the way. Setting specific goals is a proven method to keep yourself motivated and accountable. 5.        Seek Feedback Don't keep your idea a secret. Share it with friends, mentors, and peers to gain valuable feedback. Constructive criticism can help you refine your idea and identify blind spots. By involving others, you can also build a support network that will be crucial during your journey. 6.        Build a Team Many ideas are too complex or ambitious to be executed alone. Consider assembling a team with complementary skills. A diverse team can bring fresh perspectives and expertise to the table, increasing the chances of success. Collaborative effort is often more powerful than individual pursuit. 7.        Secure Resources Identify the resources you need to bring your idea to life. Whether it's financial backing, physical space, equipment, or technology. 8.        Take Action Ideas remain dormant until they are put into action. Avoid over analyzing and procrastinating. Start with small, manageable steps and build momentum. Every action you take brings you one step closer to turning your idea into reality, your normal life into your dream life. LEARN MORE 9.        Adapt and Overcome Be prepared to adapt and overcome obstacles. Not everything will go according to plan, and setbacks are a natural part of the process. Learn from failures, pivot when necessary, and keep moving forward. Resilience and perseverance are key to success. 10.      Stay Inspired Focus on your outcome and the benefits of your success and focus not on the present work at hand. The journey from idea to reality can be long and challenging. It's essential to stay inspired and motivated. Revisit your initial vision, remind yourself why you started, and celebrate your achievements along the way. Remember that the road may be filled with ups and downs but follow where God leads and be determined to be adaptable, and you will bring your ideas to life and make a positive impact on your world!

Midheaven Persona Chart
So, I’ve been receiving a lot of questions regarding this chart in particular so I wanted to provide a little bit more information for you guys. More specifically the Moon in the Midheaven Persona Chart.
The Moon tells us about our emotional needs. It is also our deepest desires reside. Understanding this is essential in any persona chart, especially the Midheaven PC. This is because we all ideally would like to feel fulfilled on the inside with whatever path we take. It should make us happy and suit our inner desires as far as career paths go. And the Midheaven is not just about our career, it is also about our public image/reputation and where we eventually would like to end up in life. Having an Earth sign as your MC, you will desire stability and long-term satisfaction. As an Air sign MC, you will desire to continually learn and experience everything that you can. As a Fire sign MC, you will seek out adventure, excitement and a place to shine and express yourself. And as a Water sign MC, you will desire to be emotionally fulfilled and be doing whatever your heart longs for. Of course the aspects to the 10H and the planets in the 10H will be significant too. But for today, we’re going to discuss the Moon in the Midheaven PC.
Fire signs
Aries Moon: This moon is a self-starter. They want to do things their own way and seek out adventure. They are drawn to careers where they can lead and inspire. If you have Aries moon in your MC persona chart, then you will likely have an inner calling towards entrepreneurship and/or working on your own. Seek out career paths that allow you to express yourself individually and that provide you with a little bit of a challenge. Aries tend to burn out and lose interest rather quickly, so you will want a career that will make you feel excited and ready every day.
Leo Moon: Leo moons are very confident and they can also be described as visionaries. They wish to live life to the fullest and are passionate about new ventures. They are also good at inspiring others and can be trend-setters in a way if they really let themselves shine. They will ideally enjoy a career that allows them to be creative and also gives them a sense of importance. They are warm-hearted and desire to help wherever they can and this is what will inspire them to come to work. They like to feel needed and like they are an important part of the greater whole. Again, entrepreneurship is perfect for them but so are managerial positions.
Sagittarius Moon: This moon is all about freedom! That is the ultimate goal. They like to take on new opportunities and are open to an abundance of possibilities. They enjoy travel and like to learn new things. They strive to be well-rounded individuals with a heap of wisdom. They also enjoy a challenge and would flourish in careers that allow them to learn, teach and better themselves in any way possible. A career with no growth is not the career for these folks. They are pretty restless so finding a career may take longer than usual but when they find what makes them truly happy, they are dedicated and very optimistic. They usually have a larger than life attitude toward the career world and wish for abundance and a lot of independence. Authority really isn’t their thing unless it is someone they consider wise and look up to.
Air signs
Gemini Moon: This moon loves communication and to express their thoughts. They are sociable creatures and are quite charming. They long for a career that will allow them to speak freely and use their incredible minds to build their success. This could be a career in the media, politics or teaching. Point is, they seek to learn and explore. Their curiosity knows no bounds and they enjoy a career that keeps them on their toes and enthusiastic. On the more light-hearted side, they could enjoy being comedians as well. This also reminds me of someone who would make YouTube videos or be a content creator.
Libra Moon: These are our diplomats. They desire a career that helps them create peace and balance. One would even go further as to say, justice. So this means they would enjoy legal/political related careers. They long for harmony in the workplace and cannot be in a chaotic or messy environment. They need to feel at ease so they are able to put forth as much tact and diplomacy as they can. With Libra being ruled by Venus, these folks may also be drawn to careers that are artistic in some way or involve beauty and/or fashion.
Aquarius Moon: This moon desires a career that brings out their humanitarian side. They ideally want to make the world a better place, either literally or just by creating something innovative that will be remembered for decades. They are very creative and strive for freedom of expression. They are unique individuals who long to express their originality as well as love for all of humanity. These don’t like prejudice or discrimination of any kind—much like their fellow Libra moons. So, with that being said, they will likely be drawn to careers that satisfy their inner visionary. In the workplace a lot of people may see them as ahead of their time as they can appeal to people’s better nature and bring about a desire for change. They are wise as well and want others to consult them when in need of a change of direction or a new tactic to appeal to the masses. They are leaders but in the most humble way.
Earth signs
Taurus Moon: This moon desires security above all. They cannot thrive in an environment that doesn’t promise a steady paycheck or steady position. They can be slow-moving toward their goals but they are incredibly ambitious and this ensures they will always get to where they want to be. Like Libra, they also desire harmony and peace—and comfort as well. They could be comfortable in an office job but there are many avenues for these folks. They are patient so a career that requires this would suit them. They enjoy working on projects for a long-time as long as they are able to work at their own pace. They need a career that will be financially rewarding and also promises comfort and a good social setting. These are the types that thrive in work-related events and can enjoy networking—as long as there is champagne and good food.
Virgo Moon: This moon is drawn to careers that allow them to use their analytical abilities and require a strong attention to detail. They need to feel productive and like they are contributing to a greater whole. They enjoy working in teams and are always willing to lend a helping hand. Ruled by Mercury, they are very insightful and can always provide an extra piece of information. They will enjoy careers that allow them to see the benefits of what they are doing. This is because they can be rather hard on themselves and so they long to feel appreciated and like what they’re doing has meaning. With that being said, these individuals would thrive in health related careers. I could also see them simply writing self-help manuals or doing something that others will find useful.
Capricorn Moon: Ah, the ruler of the 10H itself. These individuals are very hardworking and determined. They desire a career that provides stability-money isn’t everything but they will work hard to ensure they have a seat at the table. They are pretty level-headed and won’t jump into something they know won’t succeed. They can be rather factual and practical individuals. These are the people in the workplace that advise others. And deep down, this is what makes them happy. Being able to advise others on their path and share their wisdom is very rewarding for them. So, if you have a Capricorn moon in your Midheaven persona chart, search for careers that will allow you to contribute something meaningful while also guiding and mentoring others. Also don’t miss opportunities for fear of losing the game or failing. Investing is also something these folks would enjoy! Real estate as well
Water signs
Cancer Moon: These people are drawn to careers that allow them to use their intuition and care for others. They would like to feel some kind of emotional fulfillment from what they are doing. They are very caring individuals and long to express their gentle side. Healing professions would satisfy these folks. They enjoy seeing others happy. Since they are ruled by the Moon itself, they would also do well in feminine related careers. By this, I mean anything that deals with women or motherhood. Sounds a little strange, but these sensitive souls need to be surrounded by loving energies to feel satisfied. They would also do well in careers related to the home, so interior decoration, wedding planning, being a nanny, and real estate as well. They just long to see something being built up into a long-lasting foundation. Working with animals is another avenue.
Scorpio Moon: Alright so we know these folks are ruled by Pluto, which is a planet of change, transformation and the nitty gritty. So they don’t mind getting their hands dirty. Anything that lets them utilize their killer instincts and deep introspection will satisfy them. This could be as simple as teaching a forensic science class or working in clandestine organizations. Point is, they desire to go beneath the surface. They are usually drawn to the psychology field and this actually suits them very well. They enjoy helping others rise above all their demons and come out anew. They are really good at motivating others and enjoy seeing others react to them. They don’t like the superficial but rather desire to dig deep and use their analytical and penetrating mind to bring about profound change and revelation.
Pisces Moon: Now we move into the chameleons of the zodiac. These individuals are prone to adapting to any situation and can be easily affected by it due to their sensitivity. This means, a career that will let you thrive is one where you can use your profound sensitivity to determine what a situation needs. They are very intuitive and like working in different environments. There isn’t one specific environment that suits them. They should go wherever they feel called and do whatever allows them to use their artistic and imaginative side. They don’t like feeling trapped so sometimes they will change career paths a lot or simply just not decide and do whatever makes them happiest. Deep down, you long for a career that lets you feel seen and heard. You also need a career that allows you space and a nice environment to immerse yourself in. That is what gets you going and leaves you feeling satisfied. You want to immerse yourself in what you are doing. You like being completely enthralled in your career and knowing that you are utilizing your greatest gifts to succeed. You don’t like being restricted so opt for a career path that allows you to freely and openly use your talents. These folks are compassionate and very sensitive so they must be careful to not get swept up in something that doesn’t truly make them happy. Know that there is a lot of beauty out there to be found and success comes in many different ways--go where you feel called.
So, I hope you guys find this somewhat helpful when interpreting your midheaven persona chart. I will provide information on other planets as well. Let me know what you guys think and if you can relate!

astro notes: neptune edition (pt. 2)
neptune represents issues which are frequently unconscious, so all of this may operate without your awareness. if projected, the negative aspects of neptune become more emphasised. the more you reject it in your own life, the more likely it is that you’ll meet it in exaggerated ways outside yourself.
neptune in the 7th house
this is another loaded placement; you are likely to encounter difficulties in the area of personal relationships. there are many manifestations of this placement: you may look for a savior to ease the feelings of loneliness and isolation rather than taking responsibility by becoming your own person, you might wish to merge with your partner. if you become too dependent on anyone, they’re going to let you down one way or another. the alternative manifestation is you playing savior to your partner. hence, the reputation of this placement as a magnet to victim types (negatively: drug addicts, unstable people w a shady/difficult past, “artists”, wannabe geniuses and prophets, etc) who need a lot of mothering and cleaning up after.
wherever neptune is placed in the chart, a lot is asked of us. you often give a lot in relationships - often sacrificing things for the sake of your partner. some of you exhibit a kind of selfless, saintly love worthy of true respect, but this can easily turn into letting yourself being walked over as if you have no rights in the relationship. there is a fine line between authentic selflessness and tolerance and just being a doormat. your often idealized romantic notion of what a relationship looks like doesn’t consider the hard work that must be put into it. the yearning for perfection in your partner + the relationship actually makes you very difficult people to live with. unconsciously, you can be very critical and judgemental about the other’s flaws or whatever element they have that doesn’t match your notion of Love. soulmates can still argue about the way the other squeezes the toothpaste tube, it doesn’t mean the love isn’t very much real. ultimately, this planet should represent a non-attached love, a love that doesn’t cling or swallow up any of the people involved. somewhere between demanding others adjust to you, or always adjusting yourselves to others, is the kind of envisioned neptunian love.
neptune in the 8th house
if neptune can’t be at home (12th house) then his next favorite house is that of his bestie, pluto (8th). neptune’s major thrust is the loss of boundaries - what better place to lose them than in the house of sex, sharing and intimacy?
sex is often symbolic in this position; rather than just being enjoyed for its sake, it is the means to alleviate psychological pressures and concerns. sex is also a way of merging with others, hence transcending the means of oneself. i’ve noticed physical intimacy is also an escape from loneliness, and the promiscuity associated w this placement comes from this. some may feel that giving themselves sexually is also a way of serving. this placement is also present in people confused about their sexual identities. neptune is so diffuse and adaptable, so fluid and shapeless, that they have difficulty knowing what they really want. conversely, problematic aspects to saturn may suggest a fear of letting go - a tension between holding on and letting go (abstaining from sex altogether). my friend with this placement told me she always fantasizes about people she isn’t with rather than her girlfriend. neptune is never content with what it has. besides, if you know someone too well, their alien magnetism eventually wears out.
there may be complications and strange circumstances in the area of the partner’s money and joint finances. economic losses and gains will have a significant psychological impact, and could ultimately stop you from finding security inwardly rather than on the material world. in any case, you should seek advice for making financial investments. depending on the aspects, non-material forces can operate constructively or destructively within you. positively, you’ll receive guidance and inspiration as if out of nowhere and are well advised to keep up a dream diary, for they may prove significant to whatever you’re going through. you may serve as a source of comfort and inspiration for others who are going through crisis (david bowie, malcolm x, simone de beauvoir, etc); negatively, you may feel possessed - as if you’ve been taken over by something powerful outside yourself. you may receive misleading guidance from other dimension.
since neptune wants to go Home and the 8th house is the house of Death, some people w this placement may entertain self-destructive fantasies when life gets too tough. unless neptune has harsh aspects to saturn, there isn’t a fear of death, since the desire to transcend worlds is so strong.
neptune in the 9th house
both neptune and the 9th house have a tendency to need the “right” answer, there’s a possibility for an enduring search for The Truth (think Mulder from the x-files). both are mutable and connected to faith and beliefs. both are haunted by the need for perfection due to unrealistic expectations. neither is noted for common sense or doing anything half-assed. the thing is, this placement will tend to overemphasise whatever issues are valued to you. naturally, pisces (neptune) is square sagittarius (9th house), indicating some conflict to be resolved. neptune in the 9th is also a mix of fire and water, giving it a great emotional intensity.
there’s two types of you: those who will lean towards the 9th house and say the truth no matter who gets hurt; and those who follow neptune and choose to lie to protect others’ feelings. you’re pulled in both directions and will need to find a middle ground to satisfy your need for truth and others at the same time. if you don’t, explosions of repressed feelings will occur that will seem OOC for the people around you. you also must be wary of your expectations with education; being educated about everything won’t fulfill every need in you.
balance is an important lesson for you. you always want to go overboard w the next big idea; the challenge is to act on them practically and without dangerous disruptions in other areas of your life. examine your personal beliefs, conscious and unconscious. clarify your expectations about truth, philosophy and the meaning of life.
neptune in the 10th house
positively, someone with this placement can be drawn into a deeply spiritual or creative career, or maybe something to do with counseling. you’ll be inclined to dedicate a great deal of time and energy to said career because it provides you with an enormous sense of fulfillment that you don’t find in other areas of life. you might as well revolve your life around your job. that’s fine, as long as you stay aware of your choice and make the effort to cultivate some personal relationships and outside interests. you tend to be happiest when working - with something you love, obviously. you may feel a responsibility to contribute something meaningful to the world, whether in terms of helping others or creatively. that’s great, but you’ll also feel your work is just that, a contribution - a piece in the grand scheme of things.
you’ll be a great deal happier when employed, but you also need to feel you’re improving; you’re ambitious, whether or not you’re aware of it. you always have an eye in the possibility of promotion, for the 10th house is not only about a career but to success defined in worldly terms. this means an unconscious need to gain more and more, in position, status and salary. if this remains unconscious, you might let it take over your life. few people find lifetime satisfaction within a career unless it’s spiritual, educational or creative.
negatively, this placement finds people who can’t find satisfaction anywhere outside their job. such person lives for her job, and expects it to provide for all needs: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. they may expect the job itself to be perfect, and be miserable when it’s not. another negative expression is the indecision regarding a career, not being able to truly commit to anything. you want something big and important, something perfect (ps: it doesn’t exist), something better and of more help to humanity than anyone else has come up with. yet you often expect to accomplish this without any training or effort.
this placement might also refer to the father (10th house = saturn): you might think the world of your dad and wish to be like him or, negatively, you may have expected him to be perfect. some of you might have him on a pedestal and not accept the idea of him being less than perfect. or he might’ve been a strange figure; he might’ve been withdrawn, either a victim or simply a loner. he may have died or left your life altogether, leaving you with a fantasy figure, a father who only exists in your mind. you’ll benefit greatly by examining your beliefs about his importance in your life. you might avoid thinking of him altogether and the same is true of your career: you might expect far too much or deny its importance.
neptune in the 11th house
this placement inspires a natural caring for others and immediate feeling of bonding and solidarity with those with whom wer share this planet. many have an utopian visions and will join groups that promote humanitarian or social causes. you feel the need to participate w other in bringing their idea of good into the world. you’ll likely fight for the underdog. if some segment of society is mistreated, you feel it as if it were happening to you. some might be more attracted to artistic or spiritual groups. if neptune has hard aspects, your group might have big ideas but never bring them to fruition.
in less politically minded people, group activities can simply be a way of escaping routine. you could lose yourselves in a social whirl, seeking ever more interesting friends and parties. if neptune is badly aspected, there could be disillusionment or deception through friendships. you easily feel your friendship ideals are being betrayed. some may even manipulate friends by making them feel sorry for you. another manifestation of this placement is that your friends carry the neptunian projection: you might find yourself drawn to artists, healers, romantic daydreamers, or just losers lmao.
neptune in the 12th house
ahh, neptune at home. this can be a double dose of either comfort or dissatisfaction. the hardest part of this placement is the lack of consciousness about itself and how it operates. what works from the unconscious has far more power to affect us than we think.
it might be difficult for you to think about your own values; they’re so unquestioned as to be beyond challenge. you think they simply are what they are, and resist any categorisation or definition. you can’t separate yourself from them. with neptune here, you’re less connected to the material world than others, more in tune with the spiritual one. you could well have psychic abilities. you never fully embrace “reality” because you’re aware, if only barely, that the universe encompasses so much more than our minds can handle. the danger is that you’ll come to this conclusion before developing any ego strenght. with ego strenght, you honor yourself as well as your vision; without it you’ll tend to be overwhelmed and easily terrified.
with neptune in the 12th, you need to take a long hard look at your tendency to idealise peace, universal love, sacrifice and service, art and music, and the spiritual path. this placement isn’t a problem by itself, unless there’s other contradicting placements or bad aspects. if nothing is repressed or ignored, it’s actually a fantastic gift. the main problem is the aforementioned lack of awaress of what your values mean and how they affect the quality of your life. my friend with this placement feels that death is simply another step of growth for the soul; of course she grieves, but she tends to think everything happens for a reason. i deeply admire her ability to live in touch with both the material and spiritual world.

ASSERTIVE ARCHITECT
Introduction
WHO IS AN ARCHITECT (INTJ)?An Architect (INTJ) is a person with the Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, and Judging personality traits. These thoughtful tacticians love perfecting the details of life, applying creativity and rationality to everything they do. Their inner world is often a private, complex one.
“Thought constitutes the greatness of man. Man is a reed, the feeblest thing in nature, but he is a thinking reed.” - BLAISE PASCAL
It can be lonely at the top. As one of the rarest personality types – and one of the most capable – Architects (INTJs) know this all too well. Rational and quick-witted, Architects may struggle to find people who can keep up with their nonstop analysis of everything around them.
A Thirst for Knowledge
These personalities can be both the boldest of dreamers and the bitterest of pessimists. Architects believe that, through willpower and intelligence, they can achieve even the most challenging of goals. But they may be cynical about human nature more generally, assuming that most people are lazy, unimaginative, or simply doomed to mediocrity. Architects derive much of their self-esteem from their knowledge and mental acuity. In school, people with this personality type may have been called “bookworms” or “nerds.” But rather than taking these labels as insults, many Architects embrace them. They are confident in their ability to teach themselves about – and master – any topic that interests them, whether that’s coding or capoeira or classical music.
“You are not entitled to your opinion. You are entitled to your informed opinion. No one is entitled to be ignorant.” - HARLAN ELLISON
Architects can be single-minded, with little patience for frivolity, distractions, or idle gossip. That said, it would be a mistake to stereotype these personalities as dull or humourless. Many Architects are known for their irreverent wit, and beneath their serious exteriors, they often have a sharp, delightfully sarcastic sense of humour.
Finding a Better Way
Architects question everything. Many personality types trust the status quo, relying on conventional wisdom and other people’s expertise as they go about their lives. But ever-sceptical Architects prefer to make their own discoveries. In their quest to find better ways of doing things, they aren’t afraid to break the rules or risk disapproval – in fact, they rather enjoy it. But as anyone with this personality type would tell you, a new idea isn’t worth anything unless it actually works. Architects want to be successful, not just inventive. They bring a single-minded drive to their passion projects, applying the full force of their insight, logic, and willpower. And heaven help anyone who tries to slow them down by enforcing pointless rules or offering poorly thought-out criticism.
Architects, independent to the core, want to shake off other people’s expectations and pursue their own ideas.
This personality type comes with a strong independent streak. Architects don’t mind acting alone, perhaps because they don’t like waiting around for others to catch up with them. They also generally feel comfortable making decisions without asking for anyone else’s input. At times, this lone-wolf behaviour can come across as insensitive, as it fails to take into consideration other people’s thoughts, desires, and plans.
Social Frustrations
Architects aren’t known for being warm and fuzzy. They tend to prioritize rationality and success over politeness and pleasantries – in other words, they’d rather be right than popular. This may explain why so many fictional villains are modeled on this personality type. Because Architects value truth and depth, many common social practices – from small talk to white lies – may seem pointless or downright stupid to them. As a result, they may inadvertently come across as rude or even offensive when they’re only trying to be honest. At times, Architects may wonder if dealing with other people is even worth the frustration. But like any personality type, Architects do crave social interaction – they’d just prefer to surround themselves with people who share their values and priorities. Often, they can achieve this just by being themselves. When Architects pursue their interests, their natural confidence can draw people to them – professionally, socially, and even romantically.
The Chess Game of Life
This personality type is full of contradictions. Architects are imaginative yet decisive, ambitious yet private, and curious yet focused. From the outside, these contradictions may seem baffling, but they make perfect sense once you understand the inner workings of the Architect mind. For Architects, life is like a giant game of chess. Relying on strategy rather than chance, they contemplate the strengths and weaknesses of each move before they make it. And they never lose faith that, with enough ingenuity and insight, they can find a way to win – no matter what challenges might arise along the way.
The Assertive Type
Assertive Architects are likely to approach the things they do with a greater degree of self-assurance. These Architects feel more confident about handling the stressors that are inevitably a part of life. They are less likely to experience regret if things go wrong. So, stressors and past failures are less likely to be motivators.
However, confidence isn’t everything and may not always guarantee success. For Turbulent Architects, many of their best efforts come from concerns about real or perceived shortcomings. This may push them to work harder and be more meticulous in an attempt to do better or make things better. These personalities are more thorough – not despite the fact that they worry, but because they do worry. Turbulent Architects are likely to carry their diligent desire for improvement into any of their personal or professional endeavours.

give my heart a chance
Tumblr media
title: give my heart a chance
characters: (fem) reader x han jisung of stray kids.
genres: romance, fluffy as hell (i just want them to kiss so bad!), college au, friends to lovers au, composer/music scorer!jisung, assistant director!reader
word count: 6.9k words
warnings: cursing, a little suggestive i guess? there’s a lot of sexual references but nothing too wild, lots of (attempted) flirting, jisung is whipped as hell, it gets very wordy sometimes IM SORRY.
synopsis: you and jisung have these theories about love, and there’s only one way to prove yourselves right: testing them on each other.
a/n: writing this gave me so much joy, and writing from jisung’s perspective is super fun. lastly, sorry for the lame ass title, but i hope you’ll enjoy! please tell me there aren’t many grammatical/spelling errors i’ve read this over and over again.
Tumblr media
Verse 1: “Date me, so I can write love songs about you.”
Han Jisung has a lot of ambitions. Being the world's best composer, buying a whole island for himself, and flexing his Rolex watches are on his list, but for now finishing his demo for the upcoming production meeting will be enough.
Maybe he's not so ambitious after all.
The door clicks open and reveals his roommate Lee Minho, his hair disheveled but eyes twinkling. Jisung raises his eyebrow. "Did you pass out on the street or something? What time is it?"
It's now Minho's turn to raise his eyebrow. "I had this amazing date but to put it simply, your man got laid."
Jisung sighs and knocks his head on the desk. "Lucky you."
"Your time will come, my friend," Minho assures him flatly, lying on the couch with a contented sigh. "What time is the meeting?"
"9 A.M." Jisung yawns, lifting his head to glance at his watch. "Fuck, I'm late."
Jisung doesn't know why he struggles to finish this project. His senior Bang Chan asked him to join his graduation project and help with the scoring. Jisung is willing to do anything that boosts his resume, but so far the project is only causing him headache. He's Han Jisung, the best student in his batch who almost always forgets to finish his assignments but always manages to ace them. He also sings and raps—even freestyling. He's the musical genius. Why is this happening to him?
Minho mumbles a sleepy good luck before passing out. Jisung is about pack his laptop when his phone vibrates. Your name appears on his screen, making him groan.
"Han Jisung you're late," you deadpan before he gets to say hello.
"I'm on my way."
“Get your ass here in 10 minutes or..."
"Or what?"
He can hear you tapping your pen on the table. "...I have nothing to threaten you with."
Jisung chuckles. Do you know how cute you are even over the phone? "I'll be there in 10."
Tumblr media
Chan and the rest of the crew are already inside the room when Jisung arrives. He slowly pulls up a chair beside you, trying his best to ignore your glare.
"About the wooden table we wanted last week, have we got it?" Chan asks.
Kim Seungmin, the head of production design team, nods his head. "The color is a bit different from your moodboard because the one you wanted was slightly more expensive than expected, is this still okay?" He pauses to show Chan a picture on his phone. The director examines it before passing Seungmin's phone to you. "What do you think, Y/N?"
"It's a bit different but still fits the overall mood in my opinion. A little bit warmer, but I don't think it will disturb the ambience."
Chan smiles. "Hmm, I agree. Good job, Seungmin. And that's it, everyone! Thank you for coming! We only have 3 more scenes to film so hang in there, okay?"
The whole room lets out sighs of relief, leaving the room one by one.
"Jisung, can I talk to you?"
"Just curse at me. You don't have to be so nice."
Chan laughs. "You know why I asked you to help me, right? I know what you're capable of, so tell me, what's bothering you?"
Jisung pulls out the film script from his backpack, showing Chan the parts he's circled with red marker. "I finished the scoring for other scenes, but I can never seem to think of anything that fits this one scene."
He has played the scene in his head over and over. The man confesses his feelings to the woman he loves dearly, but also says goodbye to her. The woman only nods, lips curling into a small smile, and waves him goodbye.
It doesn’t make sense. Why would they do that? People who love each other stay together unless their parents disagree or someone dies. Or at least, they try to be together until the feelings fade. Why would they say goodbye before even starting anything?
Chan stands up, patting Jisung on his back as he’s making his way to the door. “I don’t want to limit your creativity or make you create music only based on my vision, but here’s something to think about: sometimes it’s not about fate or timing. It’s about choice. See you next week, kids!”
Both of you slump into your chairs the moment he’s out of sight. “I hate it when he’s being cryptic like that. Why can’t he just tell you what he wants? He’s the director anyways, everything has to be according to his vision.” You turn to Jisung who’s scratching his head. “Please tell me you understood what he said.”
“I understand,” Jisung answers. “Well, theoretically. Do you?”
“No one will truly understand it the way Chan does, but I understand the message he wants to tell.”
“Will you just help me then?” Jisung begs. “We don’t have much time left and I’m sure you’ll kill me if I submit the demo a minute late so let’s make our lives easier and help each other out, shall we?”
Jisung does need help—especially since you’ll be extremely critical—but he also wants to spend more time with you. He doesn’t know if Minho going on dates motivates him to do the same, and that’s what he wants to figure out.
“Okay,” you say. “But the moment you annoy me too much I’ll leave you to rot alone”
Jisung smiles so brightly his cheeks hurt. “When do you finish class today?”
Tumblr media
It wasn’t love at first sight. The first few weeks working with you was hard that he wanted to take a revenge on you by asking Minho to break your heart. His roommate specializes in breaking people’s hearts, but he figured you would break Minho’s heart instead.
After a while, Jisung would rather you break his heart than anybody else’s.
“I hope you like Americano,” Jisung says. You avert your gaze to two cups of Americano on the table, nodding as you sit in front of him. “Thanks. Is the cheesecake mine too?”
He chuckles, sliding the plate to you. “It’s mine, but you can have it. I wanted to buy you one but I don’t know what you like.”
“You dared to assume that I like Americano but couldn’t decide what cake I would like?”
Jisung wonders whether he should be honest with you.
“I almost did,” he confesses. “But buying you cake feels too personal, isn’t it? This will feel like a date.”
You unexpectedly pout, and Jisung almost has a heart attack. “Stop flirting, you’re so bad at it.”
“Once I start flirting for real, you’ll be madly in love with me in 10 minutes.”
You slide the plate back to him. “I don’t know why we’re having this conversation,” you sigh. “Let’s start. You’re the one who wants me to help you get your shit done.”
Jisung opens his laptop to show you his drafts. “I honestly don’t know if this scene is supposed to be sad,” he explains, playing one of them. You listen carefully, glancing at him every few seconds. When the music stops, you close his laptop.
“Do you believe in love, Han Jisung?”
Jisung stops slicing his cheesecake, puts his fork down, and looks into your eyes. “Why are you asking me that?”
“Just answer me.”
“Yes? I’ve been in love before, that’s for sure.”
“Do you think the man loves the woman?”
“He does.”
You look satisfied with his answer. For a few minutes, you don’t ask him any other question, just sipping your coffee while examining your surroundings. “That’s it? You asked me all those big questions then just stopped?”
“Your theories are interesting,” you point out. “You believe in love and thinks that the couple needs to be together, but you’re not thinking from their perspective yet.”
“What’s your theory then?” he asks.
“My theories… about love?”
“Yeah. If you don’t mind sharing.”
You shake your head. “It’s okay, I think it will be fun. Well, this is what I’ve always believed in: boys like you will never be heartbroken.”
“Boys like me?”
“Boys like you, who date just for the sake of dating itself or getting laid.”
Jisung panics, waving his hands in front of your face. “Y/N I’m not some fuckboy I swear to God.”
“I know you’re not,” you clarify. “Boys like you just don’t think too much about anything, don’t really use your feelings. You date you when you want to date, break up when you want to break up, stay single for a while then starting to feel empty and thinking that dating someone is the only solution.”
“Aren’t we all like that?! Tell me you’ve never thought of going on Tinder when you’re lonely!” he protests. “For a film major, you have a lot of time.”
“I have to observe people in order to survive,” you laugh. “Where do you think I get ideas? It’s from other people.”
Jisung is still forming a smart comment in his head when you tilt your head, flashing him a smile so sweet like you didn’t just indirectly diss him. “Your turn. What’s your theory?”
It’s kind of hard to believe, but Jisung has quite a lot of theories about love. He’s not what you’ll call experienced, but he knows enough to come up with his own theories. “Which one hurts more, dumping someone or getting dumped?”
“Getting dumped, of course. That’s not even a theory anymore.”
Jisung wiggles his index finger. “It’s the other way around. Before you break up with someone, you think of hundreds of reasons—whether blaming yourself or the other person. You’ll keep thinking about things you hate about them and shitty experiences with them before coming up with a perfect breakup scenario. And the whole process, Princess, is agonizing.”
“Wow,” you breathe out, amazed. “You’re something else.”
“Jisung-ah!”
Minho jogs to your table, stopping when he realizes that Jisung isn’t alone. “Thank God I found you,” he whispers urgently. “Listen, I know you’re in the middle of a date but this is emergency.”
“What is it?”
“Are you coming home tonight?” Minho asks.
Jisung frowns. “Of course I am. I need to sleep so bad.”
“Are you sure? If so, then…” Minho proceeds to type something on his phone before passing it to Jisung. The latter coughs at the content, pulling out his wallet from his back pocket and handing it to Minho. “If you lose it I’m going to kill you,” he threatens.
“Are you sure you’re coming—”
“Don’t worry, he’s definitely coming home. I’m not sleeping with him if that’s what you’re implying.”
Minho laughs, bowing playfully at you as he backs away. “Good choice!” he yells. “Have fun, you two!”
You giggle while Jisung curses under his breath. “He asked you for a condom, didn’t he?” Once again, you casually smile at him, eyes twinkling. Jisung slowly nods, and you burst into a hearty laugh. “I caught you carrying condoms in your wallet after you insisted that you’re not a fuckboy. Nice move, Han Jisung.”
Jisung groans.
Tumblr media
“Are you done?” Jisung asks over the phone. After your “date,” it’s become a routine for him to visit you at the bookstore you work at to discuss the project (while subtly flirting with you because he wants to see you getting all sassy).
“Not yet,” you answer lowly. “My manager is here. You can come inside and wait.”
He forces his legs to walk faster and enters the bookstore. You wave at him from the cashier, gesturing at him to sit on one of the benches. You continue to serve the remaining customers, smiling at Jisung once in a while. He finds himself returning your smile with a bigger one, and he wonders how to convince you that he’s not as bad and shallow as you think.
A crazy idea pops into his mind, causing his palms to sweat. But he wants to do it, to at least try and see how you react. Jisung’s heart races when you say goodbye to your manager and approach him. You nudge his shoulder. “Let’s go.”
You shiver as soon as you open the door. “Where do you want to work?”
Jisung gestures at you to keep walking, giving you his phone and airpods. “You can just listen and give me feedback. I’ll edit once I get home, you must be tired.”
You keep repeating the song throughout the way to the bus station. You turn to Jisung when you’re done, punching his arm lightly. “Well done, this is much better. You can actually show it to Chan.”
“No way. Really?”
You press play once again, bopping your head to the soft beats. “The man tells the woman he loves her after a long time. It’s a happy moment, an achievement. Then he bids her farewell because he knows—both of them know—that the relationship will end badly. It’s sad, but relieving because at least they know what they feel about each other. The music is not sad, but it’s not happy either. It’s hopeful because the characters are going to start another journey, although without each other.”
“But you end it with that little piano sounds, so there’s a tinge of sadness left,” you continue. “And that’s wonderful. I think Chan will like it a lot.”
Jisung lets out the breath he doesn’t know he was holding. “You interpret it better than I ever will,” he mutters. “Thank you. I hope Chan won’t fire me now.”
“He won’t. He loves you and knows you’re talented,” you tell him. “Will you help me for my future projects? We have to create a short film for finals. I haven’t told you this, but I really love your style. I wish I could hear your songs more often.”
“I-I could just, y-you know, write you songs,” Jisung stutters. This is it.  He has to tell you now or he will regret it for the rest of his life.
“Huh?”
“I can write you all the songs you want. I can even write songs about you.”
“What songs? Like diss tracks?”
“I take requests, so I can write you a diss track if you want me to. And I can definitely write love songs about you.”
“How is that possible? You’re unbelievable.”
Jisung stops, clearing his throat before focusing his eyes on you. “Date me,” he enunciates. “Date me, so I can write love songs about you. Maybe later you’ll realize that boys like me aren’t always fuckboys. At least, I’m not. And I’ll give you the privilege to break my heart. I know you can do it.”
You gape at him. “You’re asking me out just to test our theories?”
Great, you think that it’s a stupid idea. Of course it is, why would you want to date him just to—
“Okay,” you add. “I’ll go out with you.”
“Holy shit,” Jisung yelps. “I thought you would beat me up.”
Leaning on the lamppost, you wink at him. “It’ll be fun. But I’ll break all of your bones the moment you start disrespecting me.”
Jisung stands straighter at your tone. “Yes, Ma’am.”
“So, what now? You’re taking me home?” you suggest.
“If you’ll let me.”
You extend your hand, and Jisung quickly takes it before you change your mind. The two of you walk in comfortable silence until you reach your neighborhood. “Will you have lunch with me tomorrow?” Jisung shyly asks, tightening his grip on your hand.
“Sure!” you chirp, squeezing his hand before letting go. “Good night, Jisung.”
“Good night Y/N.”
You give him a small wave, a cheerful smile plastered on your face.
Jisung waves back, unable to erase the stupid grin on his face. Oh, you’re so going to break his heart, and he won’t even try to stop you.

Verse 2: “I just want to be yours, completely yours.”
“You did not just tell me you like horror movies.”
The two of you are currently standing in front of the self-ticket machine, bickering over what movie you should watch. In turns out, your movie taste clash; Jisung lives for horror movies while you despise them. People behind him start snickering, so Jisung pulls you away from the queue.
“While we’re at it, tell me what kind of movies you watch,” he begins, trying to hide his amusement at your frustration. “I love everything, except for horror. But the ones I often watch may put you to sleep.”
“And now, if you don’t want to watch It 2, what do you want to watch?”
“Nothing really interests me,” you express. “It’s fine, let’s just watch this. I’ll pick the movie next time.”
Jisung beams. “My princess is so understanding,” he coos.
You roll your eyes at him, but not pushing him away when he wraps his arm around your shoulder. “How do you not cringe everytime you call me that.”
He pokes your cheek. “Because I know you secretly like it, and I’ll do anything that makes you happy.”
“Wow, you sound like you’re really in love with me,” you blurt out, completely unaware of the effect your words have on him. Who knows? Maybe I will, soon.
Three hours later, Jisung figures that you’re already playing with his feelings. During the entire movie, you didn’t flinch nor close your eyes. You didn’t even hold his hand for support (to be very honest, Jisung was quite disappointed at this).
“Y/N.”
You get startled at his voice, automatically stopping on your track. “Now everything startles me.” You clutch your chest in shock. “I’m sure I won’t be able to sleep tonight.”
“For someone who doesn’t like horror, you endured everything well inside the theater.”
“Curiosity always gets the best of me.”
“You could’ve chosen another movie, and I would be okay with that. Next time don’t force yourself, okay?”
“It’s something you love,” you explain. “I know you won’t force me to do things I don’t like, and I won’t force you either, but if it’s something that I can still tolerate then I don’t mind. It’s not like we can’t compromise, right?”
There you go, saying thoughtful things that warms Jisung’s heart so nonchalantly. He only hums in response, picking up his pace since you’ve started running. “I’m running late!” you half-yell before sprinting towards the bookstore.
After a few blocks, both of you arrive at the bookstore, almost running out of breath. Jisung fixes your hair in a haste. “I’ll pick you up later? Watch another movie, maybe? A funny one so you’ll be able to sleep?”
You scrunch up your nose. “Nah, it’s okay. I’ll just call you if Pennywise appears in my room.”
“Oh I’m sure you’re scarier than him, Princess, don’t worry.”
Jisung is prepared for a punch on his shoulder or strings of cussing words from you.
But you reward him with a peck on his cheek instead.
Tumblr media
It’s been two hours since your shift was supposed to end, but Jisung hasn’t heard anything from you. His messages are unread and you won’t pick up his call. Minho watches his friend paces back and forth in the living room.
“Dude just pick her up or go to her place, you’re stressing me out!”
“I don’t know if she will like it. She did say I didn’t need to pick her up.”
“Are you really dating her? You’ve never been like this before.”
Jisung plops onto the sofa, massaging his temples. Minho won’t understand, especially since he’s the one who totally fits your “boys like you” criteria. “I am, but the whole thing is different.”
“Like, how?” Minho deadpans.
“We’re dating to test our theories about each other. About love.”
“So you two are just fooling around?”
“No!” Jisung insists. “It’s not like that. We’re dating, but I have to admit that things are getting more serious than I expected.”
Minho rubs his chin. “Isn’t that what you want? You seem to really like her. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you like this.”
The doorbell suddenly rings. Minho opens the door, surprised to see you there. “Y/N?” he gasps. “Are you okay? Are you crying?”
Jisung’s ears perk up at the word crying and he immediately rushes to you. He cradles your face, examining you from head to toe. “I was so worried Y/N. What the hell happened?” he questions. Minho grabs his phone and wallet from the buffet, mouthing that he’ll give the two of you some time alone.
You circle your arms around Jisung’s waist after Minho closes the door, wetting his sweatshirt with your tears. Jisung automatically takes you into his embrace, stroking your hair in the hopes of calming you down. “Some old man tried to make a pass at me,” you sob. “I almost slapped him but my friends stopped me. The owner has banned him from coming.”
Jisung tightens his hold on you, guilt starting to overtake him. He should have come to you, he should have just come to you. Why did he hesitate? “Motherfucker,” he splutters. “God—I’m so sorry Y/N.”
You shake your head. “Why are you saying sorry?” you try to laugh. “I’m fine, Jisung. I’m just… mad. And a little bit scared, but I’m okay. Seriously though, men have no manners.”
“I know,” he replies. “I’m sorry. I hope it won’t ever happen again. I won’t let it happen, okay? I’ll keep you safe.”
You snort, pulling away to pinch his cheeks. “Then who’s gonna protect you? I know you watch horror movies well but everything else scares you.”
Jisung’s lips stretch into a loving smile, wiping your tears with his hands. “I’ll try my best. You can trust me,” he says. “Should I take you home now?”
You seem to consider his offer before burying your face in chest again. Jisung hopes you can’t hear his heart beating violently due to the close proximity. “Jisung, you okay?” you hum. “Your heart is beating so fast.”
Of course, he won’t be able to fool you.
“Yeah. I’m just glad you’re not hurt.”
“Can I sleep over?”
Jisung separates you from his body before you can hear his heart jumping out of its ribcage. “All I can think about is Pennywise now,” you sigh, searching for approval in his eyes. Jisung feels his legs weaken, so he squeezes your shoulders. “You sure? Do you feel comfortable sleeping in my room with Minho sleeping next door? Oh fuck it, why am I encouraging you to change your mind? Of course you can sleep over. You can trust me, and you can trust Minho too. And it’s not that I’ll even let him touch a strand of your hair!” he blabbers.
Your eyes light up at the mention of Minho’s name. “Lee Minho is hot, I don’t mind having him around.”
“You go around declaring that men have no manners and boys like me are fuckboys yet you don’t mind having Lee fucking Minho around?!”
Once again, you wrap your arms around his waist, and Jisung wastes no time in returning your hug although his eyes are angry now. “I have you, right? You’re not an asshole, you won’t let anything happen to me.”
Jisung sighs in defeat, resting his chin on top of your head. “You’re impossible.”
Tumblr media
After putting you to bed (with much difficulty because you kept commenting at how messy his room is), Jisung finds himself lying on the couch, staring at his room. Minho is already back and is now asleep (but not before he gave his roommate a whole warning to not say anything that can damage Jisung’s reputation).
Are you sleeping well? Are you still sad? Do you really think that Minho is hot or were you just playing with him?
His questions seem to reach your mind because seconds later, you slide the door open. You walk towards him, kneeling down to see him better. “JIsung-ah,” you call out softly. “Are you asleep?”
Jisung blinks, heat rising to his cheeks because you’re staring at him so intensely. “Not yet. What is it? You can’t sleep?”
“You can sleep inside, it’s cold out here,” you whisper. “It’s fine, I can sleep anywhere like a log.” He rubs your hand. “Go back to sleep.”
Jisung sits up when you don’t budge. “What if I also want you to be next to me?” you murmur, but he hears everything loud and clear. He carries you back inside his room with saying a word, hoping that this isn’t just a test he will fail.
He lays you down gently, which surprises himself since he tends to do everything in a rush. Jisung settles himself beside you, ready to finally sleep when you scoot closer and put your arms around his torso. “Thank you for today,” you say.
Jisung turns around to face you, slowly pulling you into his arms. “What did I do?” he asks, genuinely curious.
“Being there for me,” you reply. “You didn’t doubt me, you didn’t blame me.”
Jisung lifts your chin so he can look into your eyes. “Why would I blame you? You really should’ve kicked that man’s ass.”
You break into a smile, and Jisung can’t hold himself anymore. The feeling of you in his embrace, your smile, the way you look at him, and the warmth of your words are driving him crazy. Jisung realizes it’s always been like that since the very first time he met you: you’ve always driven him crazy.
“Y/N.” He licks his lips. “I want to start over. I want us to date without thinking about the goddamn theories. I don’t care about them anymore. I just want to be yours, completely yours. I’m not saying this only because I want to date, I only want to date you. And I don’t want to think about breaking up with you once we finish proving those theories. I won’t be able to handle it, I like you too much.”
You blink at him, staring at him long and intense Jisung feels like burning. You cup his face, tilting your head to peck him on the lips. It ends way too soon for his liking, but he already wants to faint.
“Aren’t I your Princess already? That means you’re automatically mine.”
Jisung chuckles, a huge burden is lifted off his chest as you snuggle to him, resting your head on his shoulder. “Nice move, Han Jisung. Confessing to me when I’m in your bed and feeling sentimental as hell.”
“Sorry Princess, but you’re too irresistible. I just gotta make you mine right here, right now.”
“Go to sleep.”
“As you wish,” he sighs dreamily, peppering kisses on the top of your head until you fall asleep.
Tumblr media
“Where are you? The food is ready.”
Jisung rummages through his pile of clothes on the floor, picking up a random black shirt and a pair of ripped jeans. His phone is on the bed, speaker on so he could actually get ready while you’re hollering at him.
“I’ll be on my way soon, Princess. Please don’t get mad,” he pleads.
“I took a day off from my part-time job for you, Jisung. But you’re acting like my time isn’t precious at all,” you answer, a little softer this time. Jisung chews the inside of his cheek; you’re right. He’s always late although he barely has time to meet you thesedays.
He swears he doesn’t mean to, but whenever he’s about to meet you, misfortunes always happen: his alarm doesn’t go off, he has an appointment he can’t cancel, or he’s too tired to get out of his bed. You get into petty arguments whenever you meet, but you forgive him every single time although Jisung himself knows he’s being stubborn. As he slips on his shirt, Jisung wonders if this is the beginning of the end.
“Okay,” you finally mumble. “Be careful.”
Jisung ends the call, running as fast as he can to your apartment complex. He considers taking the stairs, but remembers that you live on the 20th floor and decides to wait for the elevator. When he finally enters your flat, his eyes brim with tears.
You’re sleeping on the sofa, two portions of jjajjangmyeon along with a bowl of caramel popcorn are on the table. The television is on, ready to play Along with the Gods because Jisung wants to re-watch it tonight.
He’s the luckiest man on Earth yet he keeps disappointing you. It pains him how small mistakes may really destroy both of you.
Jisung crouches down, wiping his tears quickly before planting a kiss on your lips. You stir, opening your eyes.
“Hi,” you yawn. “Sorry, I fell asleep.”
“I missed you,” Jisung rasps. “So much.”
He pulls you into a bone-crushing hug, his tense muscles relaxing when you hum knowingly against his skin. “I missed you too. Wanna talk about it?” you offer, patting his back softly.
“About what?”
“You had a bad day.”
“And you’re sleepy,” he retorts. “Let’s just sleep.”
“Not before you tell me what’s bothering you.”
Jisung gives up, deciding to tell you how swamped he is with projects and how everything doesn’t seem to go his way. You listen to him—although through half-lidded eyes—giving him all suggestions and reassurance he doesn’t even know he needs.
Sometimes Jisung still thinks about the theories both of you wanted to prove months ago. He remembers how sure he was that yours was wrong. He was not an insensitive asshole.
Maybe he is now. And you don’t deserve it.
The thing is, Jisung is selfish. Losing you is something he fears the most, and now, surrounded by your warmth and soft caresses, he makes a silent promise to fix everything. To make himself worthy of you and your love again.
“Y/N.” He lifts himself up just enough to see your face, smiling at your sleepy face. “I love you.”
You freeze, eyes boring into his, trying to look for traces of lies. He stays in his position and waits for you to say something, anything, before his heart explodes and breaks into a million pieces.
“You do, now?” you reply, burying your face in the crook of his neck.
Jisung waits for you to say it back, but you soon fall asleep in his arms.
Tumblr media
Jisung had the best dream ever. He dreamed of going on vacation with you, and you always wore your brightest smile that he loved so much.  But that wasn’t even the best part.
In his dream, you told him that you loved him.
In reality, Jisung wakes up to an empty bed. He checks his phone, relieved to see some messages from you.
princess : hv some cereal before you go, but pls wash the dishes
princess: dont forget to make the bed or ur dead
me: im a slave 4 u, ma’am, dont worry
The tone of your messages doesn’t change, and for now it’s enough to soothe his heart. Jisung makes the bed as you requested before examining your room. He’s seen all his photos you pinned on the wall, but now you’ve written comments underneath some of them.
Jisung’s eyes fall on a photo of him munching on his chocolate. The comment reads, “Please eat more, you’re too skinny.”
Another photo sees him sitting in front of his laptop with his headphones on. “You’re the coolest composer, you know that, right?”
Jisung recognizes the last photo as the one taken during one of your beach dates (in which he dragged Minho to be his designated photographer). You had begged him for a piggy back ride, and he eventually caved. Jisung flaunted his gummy smile as you pressed your lips on his right cheek. Underneath the photo, you wrote, “Jisung-ah, I’m so happy with you. Thank you.”
He wonders why you keep all these thoughts to yourself. These are your love letters for him, they beat all the “Han Jisung, I love you too” scenarios Jisung have inside his head. Why wouldn’t you just tell him that? Is it because he hasn’t been the best boyfriend thesedays?
After taking a photo of your “love shrine” (for blackmail purposes), Jisung leaves his notebooks inside one of your drawers, the ones filled with lyrics he wrote for you and about you. You wrote him the sweetest love letters, and he’s going to fulfill the promise he made when he asked you out.
You deserve to know every little detail of his feelings for you.
Tumblr media
“Y/N… about last night… are you mad at me? I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.”
You stop flicking through channels, dropping the remote to ponder Jisung’s question. “Yeah, I am,” you admit. “But we’ve fought enough. I don’t wanna waste my energy.”
“So you’re going to let me be a jerk?! What if I never snapped out of it? What if I never apologized to you? Or feel guilty?! You have to beat the shit out of me, Y/N. You can’t be this nice!”
You prop your chin on your knees, closing your eyes. “Last night, I planned to break up with you.”
Jisung pales at your confession. “Princess, I’m—”
“Please hear me out first,” you cut him off. “These past few weeks have been tough, I honestly thought you cheated on me. When you were late again last night, I told myself to end things with you. But then I fucking fell asleep, and then as soon as I saw you, I didn’t want to do it anymore. Plus you looked like a mess last night.”
“I kept wondering if we’re trapped in a toxic relationship. And it angered me. I hated myself for keep wanting to forgive you. When you told me that you love me… I didn’t know how to respond. I didn’t know whether you were being sincere or just caught up in the moment.”
Tears start rolling down your cheeks. “That’s why I didn’t answer. This morning, I decided to give you one last chance.”
“Did I… ruin it?” Jisung asks sheepishly, wiping your tears gently.
You shake your head. “I acted like nothing happened, but you still apologized. And complained about me not telling you about this sooner.”
“So that means…?”
“That means,” you begin. “Your theory is right. Dumping someone feels worse than getting dumped. Yesterday, memories of us fighting flooded my mind as I created a whole speech in my head about how much I hated you. It made me wanna explode, and that was the worst feeling I’ve ever experienced. Resentment is tiring, but the moment you stepped into the living room I know I don’t hate you.”
Jisung heaves a sigh of relief, placing his hand on top of yours carefully. “And your theory is wrong. You broke my heart. You truly did. I told you I love you, and when you didn’t say it back… I felt horrible... although I know it’s all my fault. You have me wrapped around your finger, Princess, I hope you know that.”
“Anyways, I saw your lovely comments for me on the photos,” he teases, knowing you meant to keep it a secret.
“Fucking hell!” you yell. “I forgot to hide them!”
“Why don’t you tell me now, then.”
Your lips curl into a teasing smile. “If I tell you I love you now, will you kiss me?”
Before you even properly say it, Jisung is already hovering over you, cupping your face and crashing his lips on yours. It just occurs to him that he’s never kissed you like this; it was always light pecks here and there. Jisung doesn’t know how he survived that, because nothing beats feeling your lips moving against his. Nothing beats the feeling of you tugging his hair, sighing in contentment when he starts exploring your warm mouth. Jisung tries to remember every single sensation; the way you curl your arms around his neck, the way you keep pulling him down to you as if he’s not close enough, the way you squirm as he nibbles your bottom lip gently.
“I love you,” you whisper in between feverish kisses he leaves every now and then. He pauses, finally letting himself breathe. You hold stars in your eyes, and those stars are all for him to see. It’s overwhelming, so all Jisung does is pressing another kiss on your lips. Moments later, when the lack of oxygen forces him to stop, he pulls away.
“Thank you,” he mumbles, trying to stop himself from kissing you again because he needs to tell you this first.
“For…?”
“Loving me.”
Tumblr media
Chan’s graduation project has finally been screened, earning a standing ovation from everybody present. He invited all his crew to dinner, which has turned into a congratulatory party for Jisung and you. “You two didn’t disappoint me,” Chan exclaims. “I guess you’re the reason why Jisung finished his demo early, right Y/N?”
You wink cockily at him. “Han Jisung is nothing without me.”
Chan ruffles your hair before raising his hand to get everyone’s attention. “My last few months as a student felt amazing thanks to you guys. I’m sure you all know how thankful I am for each of you, so I won’t bore you with my speech. Now, Seungmin, I believe you have something to say.”
Kim Seungmin stands up, unfolding a piece of paper that sparks mixed reactions from the crowd. “Lee Felix, Hwang Hyunjin, Choi Jisu,” he announces. “Each of you owes ₩20,000 to me, Chan, and Shin Yuna because you guys freaking lost!” He claps, then turning to both of you. “Jisung and Y/N, thank you for making us rich!”
Everyone cheers while you and Jisung look dumbfounded. “All of you bet on us?!” you scream in disbelief. “Whoa I can’t believe you guys! Even you, Chan?”
The senior only chuckles. “Everyone was stressed out at how slow you two were but you guys were so annoyingly cute we couldn’t help ourselves!”
Seungmin collects all the money from the lost participants before distributing it to each of the winners. When he gets to Chan, the latter shakes his head. “Just use the money for round 2, I’ll pay the rest as well.”
The whole room cheers again, quickly getting up from their seats and debating about which place to go. You immediately start interrogating Seungmin, wanting to know what exactly happened during the whole production process.
Jisung taps Chan’s shoulder. “I believe I haven’t thanked you.”
Chan frowns. “For what?”
Jisung slips his hands into his jeans pocket, smiling at you as you turn around to check on him. “For making the whole project happened. For the whole, ‘Sometimes it’s not about fate or timing. It’s about choice.’ It kept me going, even when I thought Y/N and I weren’t meant to be. There are times when we just have to keep trying, aren’t we?”
“Well, thank you for remembering what I said. But it wasn’t me. It happened because you did try, Jisung. All of us have to make choices at some point, but not a lot of people actually have strength and will to do that. You did, so kudos to you. I’m trying to do the same myself, wish me luck, okay?”
Jisung snorts. “This is getting sappy, but thank you. And I will.”
Both boys laugh, exchanging playful slaps on each other’s back until you come up to them.
“Hey Chan, can I borrow Jisung for a sec?”
Chan shoves Jisung towards you. “If I catch you two sneaking out before round 2 is done, I’ll end you!”
You wave at Chan, and Jisung is now glued to your side. “What is it?” he asks, wrapping his arms around your shoulder. “I found your notebooks.”
He grins. “You did? I thought I’d have to tell you about them. They’re nice, right? I’ve recorded some of them, I’ll let you listen later.”
You cross your arms. “The ones in the black notebook are nice. I’m a goddess and I agree. But what are you gonna say about the red notebook?”
Jisung smirks at your question, dropping a quick kiss on your lips. “What about it? You wanna make everything I wrote there come true? I can do that, Princess. Whenever you want,” he whispers seductively.
His original plan was only to leave you the black notebook that contains all the sweetest lyrics he’s ever written. But then he thought it wouldn’t be fair if you only know that side of him. You have every right to know about his sexy thoughts too.
“I just want you to know me. All of me. And everything I feel about you, including the things I really, really want to do to you,” he continues.
You tiptoe to whisper into his ear, “Maybe later.”
“Later?!” Jisung shouts. “Later as in tonight?!”
You shrug, and now Jisung is dragging you to the opposite direction of where his friends are going. “Chan hyung! You can nag us later but we really need to go home right now!”
Everyone whistles, including Chan, so Jisung takes it as a yes and quickens his pace. You, meanwhile, are looking at the snacks stalls along the street.
“I’m still hungry. Let’s stop by to buy hotteok first.”
Groaning in frustration, Jisung knows he has no choice but to follow you. As he watches you enjoying your hotteok, he thinks about the moment when he desperately wanted to prove you wrong.
Jisung has nothing to prove now. You gave his heart a chance. You gave him a chance, and he’ll make sure to cherish you as long as he can.
Tumblr media
more a/n: and it’s done! This story seems simple but writing it, I think the theme is a little bit hard to grasp. I hope you guys can understand everything that Jisung feels...

question 👀 may I get a romance tarot reading? 👀 I've grown up in a Christian households so I've never done anything like this before 👀
Here you go queen 🥰👑. I totally understand about the Christian thing, my mom wasn’t too thrilled when my sister bought me the cards. But what can you do 🤷🏼‍♀️— it’s just a lil bit of fun. You can just ask whenever you want a reading 😘.
So like the others, there will be three cards. The first is you, the second is your lover, and the third is your dynamic. Let’s get into it 😗✌🏻
You:
Nine of Wands
Tumblr media
Good and bad news. This card shows a weary man clutching onto one of the wands, looking back on the other 8 wands looming over him. It signifies that you have gone through many challenges in your life, and you anticipate more challenges to come. The good news is that the ninth wand that you are clutching is the final challenge— as soon as you overcome this test of strength and character, you should be free of your burdens.
This card indicates that when faced with conflict and adversity, you stand tall and strong. You may be exhausted, but you are resilient and will do whatever it takes to overcome. Just when you think you make progress, you feel as if you are experiencing a setback— however, this card encourages you to keep pushing, because each time you overcome, you get stronger. You are so close to reaching your goals, and if you stand firm in the face of your challenges then you will reach the finish line.
You may have people that oppose you, make things difficult for you, and attack you for what you put out into the world. They do it because they’re jealous of your successes, and they project their own insecurities onto you. You are a change-maker, a pioneer, and you have more people who support you than those who want to see you fall.
This card also suggests that you may have experienced a test of faith, and that you should set clear boundaries that you furiously protect for your safety and benefit.
Your Lover:
The Magician
Tumblr media
This person is very much connected to the world. One hand stretches up to the universe while the other reaches toward the earth— like they are a conduit for energy into matter. The white of their robe symbolizes purity but he is cloaked in red, representing worldly experience and knowledge.
They are very well balanced. On the table before them is each symbol of tarot cards— a cup, pentacle, sword, and wand. Each symbolizes the four elements— water, air, earth, and fire. Basically, they are the Avatar.
Jokes. But this means that they have all the tools they need to manifest their intentions into being. There is also an infinity sign over their head and a snake biting it’s own tail around it’s waist, symbolizing unlimited potential. They are powerful and worldly and extremely knowledgeable. The blossoming flowers all around indicate the fruition of new ideas and aspirations.
This person has many skills, tools, and ideas that could make them powerful and strong. They are ambitious and are clear on what they want— needless to say, they have the means to get it. They are creative, concentrated, and intense. They also tend to be methodical and committed to tasks. They’ll drop anything to achieve their goals, which could be good if they are committed to you. But sometimes they may ignore you if they are preoccupied 😳. Don’t take it personally.
Your Dynamic:
Judgement
Tumblr media
This card indicates that your relationship will be one of exploration and inner searching. Maybe you’re not exactly sure what you want yet, if a relationship is a good idea or if the person is a good idea. Maybe they have different ideas from yours that you never thought you could be able to accept before. Or maybe you just didn’t expect them to come into your life, and now that they have, you are quite taken aback.
You may be having a lot of thoughts about your previous attitudes toward relationships, and navigating this one is hard. They are different than you, as they have other interests and views, but they are patient and kind and are willing to share their experiences if you will open up with yours. Judgement, apart from the obvious implication, is a card that signifies communication. This could be bad, good, and everything in between. You will have to decide if you will accept each other, or if you are simply incompatible.
However, there is a lot of hope in this card. People come out of the grave to be judged by the angel from above, and accept their fate with open arms. Your relationship may prove to be new and exciting, and if you accept each other— differences and all— something beautiful could come from it. This card is one of rebirth and evaluation. You will learn many things from each other, and if things turn out well, it will feel like you are each other’s missing puzzle pieces.
Your relationship will heal deep wounds. You will be able to share your struggles with this person and vice versa, and find comfort in each other. You will guide and help each other. This card is about “rising together.” You will find clarity in your life, new freedoms, and growth with this person.

INTRODUCTION
“Thought constitutes the greatness of man. Man is a reed, the feeblest thing in nature, but he is a thinking reed.”
No one is entitled to be ignorant.”
Architects can be single-minded, with little patience for frivolity, distractions, or idle gossip. That said, it would be a mistake to stereotype these personalities as dull or humorless. Many Architects are known for their irreverent wit, and beneath their serious exteriors, they often have a sharp, delightfully sarcastic sense of humor.
Finding a Better Way
Architects question everything. Many personality types trust the status quo, relying on conventional wisdom and other people’s expertise as they go about their lives. But ever-skeptical Architects prefer to make their own discoveries.
At times, this lone-wolf behavior can come across as insensitive, as it fails to take into consideration other people’s thoughts, desires, and plans.
STRENGTHS + WEAKNESSES
Architect (INTJ) Strengths
Rational – Architects pride themselves on their minds. For them, nearly any situation can become an opportunity to expand their knowledge and hone their rational thinking skills. Thanks to this mindset, they can devise inventive solutions to even the most arduous of problems.
Informed – Few personality types are as devoted as Architects to forming rational, evidence-based opinions. Rather than hunches or half-baked assumptions, they base their conclusions on research and analysis. This gives them the self-assurance they need to stand up for their ideas, even in the face of disagreement.
Independent – For these personality types, conformity is more or less synonymous with mediocrity. Creative and self-motivated, Architects strive to do things their own way. They can imagine few things more frustrating than allowing rules or conventions to stand in the way of their success.
Determined – Architect personalities are ambitious and goal-oriented. Whenever an idea or pursuit captures their imagination, Architects dedicate themselves to mastering the subject and gaining relevant skills. They tend to have clear visions of what it means for them to be successful, and few things can deter them from turning these visions into reality.
Curious – Architects are open to new ideas – as long as those ideas are rational and evidence-based, that is. Skeptical by nature, these personality types are especially drawn to offbeat or contrarian points of view. They’re even open to changing their own opinions when the facts prove them wrong.
Versatile – Architects love diving into all sorts of challenges. Their curiosity and determination can help people with this personality type succeed in a wide range of endeavors.
Architect (INTJ) Weaknesses
Arrogant – Architects might be knowledgeable, but they’re not infallible. Their self-assurance can blind them to useful input from other people – especially anyone they deem to be intellectually inferior. These personalities can also become needlessly harsh or single-minded in trying to prove others wrong.
Dismissive of Emotions – For Architects, rationality is king. But emotional context often matters more than people with this personality type care to admit. Architects can get impatient with anyone who seems to value feelings more than facts. Unfortunately, ignoring emotion is its own type of bias – one that can cloud Architects’ judgment.
Overly Critical – These personalities tend to have a great deal of self-control, particularly when it comes to thoughts and feelings. When the people in their lives fail to match their level of restraint, Architects can become scathingly critical. But this criticism is often unfair, based on arbitrary standards rather than a full understanding of human nature.
Combative – Architects hate blindly following anything without understanding why. This includes restrictions and the authority figures who impose them. People with this personality type can get caught up in arguing about useless rules and regulations – but sometimes these battles are distractions from more important matters.
Romantically Clueless – Architects’ relentless rationality can lead them to be frustrated by romance. Especially in the early stages of a relationship, they may struggle to understand what’s going on and how to behave. And if their relationships fall apart for reasons they don’t understand, they can become cynical about matters of the heart, even questioning the importance of love and connection.
ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIPS
“Of all forms of caution, caution in love is perhaps the most fatal to true happiness.”
People with the Architect (INTJ) personality type approach romance the way they do most challenges: strategically, with clear-cut goals and a plan for reaching them. In a purely rational world, this approach would be foolproof. Alas, it ignores important factors that Architects sometimes dismiss – such as the unpredictability of human nature and affection.
For these personalities, finding a compatible partner can be a particular challenge. Rarely satisfied with things as they are, Architects are always developing a world in their minds that is more perfect than reality. Other people entering their world need to fit this fantasy in some way. But if Architects’ expectations and ideals for a partner are unrealistic, then no real person will be able to fulfill them in every way.
The Rites of Dating
Architects care about depth and intelligence, and they insist on honest, open communication. For them, a relationship that isn’t founded on these values is hardly worth pursuing.
It might not come as a surprise, then, that the social niceties and obscure etiquette of dating can seem useless or even insulting to Architect personality types. But many of these conventions exist for a reason – to help an inherently unpredictable situation seem a little less daunting. If Architects refuse to play along, they may find the dating world difficult, if not impossible.
As Architects often learn, the ways of love are hard to describe in a spreadsheet.
As they mature and gain experience, many Architects eventually come to understand the purpose of romantic rituals. Until that point, however, they may decide that dating is too irrational or beneath them. Some people with this personality type might constantly try to demonstrate their intellectual superiority, as a way of proving that they’re above the “silliness” of dating. Obviously, this mindset is unlikely to help Architects find or connect with a partner.
Sometimes, Architects’ best strategy is to focus on what they enjoy rather than struggle against the rules of dating. Ironically, people with this personality type are often most attractive when they aren’t trying to be. Just doing what they do best – pursuing the interests that light them up – can help their confidence and intelligence shine.
Emotion Sickness
Architect personalities aren’t known for conventional shows of romance, such as sending flowers or writing mushy notes. Most Architects spend more time thinking about love than expressing it. But when they believe that a relationship has potential, Architects can give it their all, working to maintain stability and ensure their partner’s long-term satisfaction. And by using their imagination, people with this personality type can find meaningful, if unexpected, ways to share their affection.
Architects seek strong, meaningful relationships. They use their knowledge and logic to help ensure that their partner is satisfied.
That said, emotions may still feel like a second language to these personalities. Rather than getting to the core of their relationship conflicts, Architects might treat them as puzzles to be solved – an approach that isn’t always successful. And when their partner shares strong feelings, Architects might shut down, or they may be tempted to analyze the situation rather than simply listening and offering support. For Architects, becoming comfortable with their partner’s emotions – and their own – can take more than a little practice.
Love is rarely easy, but it’s a challenge that can help Architects grow. Through their relationships, Architects can learn to focus on the present, get in touch with their emotions, remain involved with other people, and stay open to things they’re not used to. For a personality type so intent on self-development, these opportunities can make love even more satisfying.
FRIENDSHIPS
“A friend to all is a friend to none.”
Sharp-witted and darkly funny, Architects (INTJs) aren’t everyone’s cup of tea – and they’re okay with that. For the most part, people with this personality type aren’t obsessed with being popular. They don’t spend their time and energy on just anyone, and they can be difficult to get to know.
But this doesn’t mean that Architects are antisocial or friendless. In fact, few things are more exhilarating to Architect personalities than the spark they feel when they connect with someone who really gets them.
The Search for an Equal
Architects tend to have strong opinions about what works, what doesn’t, what they’re looking for, and what they’re not. This mindset gives them a clear picture of what they expect from their social lives and their friends – and it can also lead them to reject anyone who doesn’t seem to meet these expectations. From the outside, people with this personality type may seem dismissive, but they would say they’re just being decisive.
In friendship, Architects are looking for an intellectual equal as much as anything else. These personalities crave mental stimulation, and they can become bored by anyone who can’t keep up with the workings of their minds. Architects need to share their expansive ideas – making small talk is something they typically avoid.
Architects care about depth and quality. They’d rather have just a few good friends than a large circle of acquaintances.
In their friendships, as in other aspects of their lives, Architects prize independence. Social obligations can feel stifling to people with this personality type. Architects don’t want to feel beholden to their friends, and they don’t want their friends to feel beholden to them. For them, an ideal friendship is low drama, based on mutual respect rather than obligation.
Of course, any friendship will have its dramatic moments. When sensitive or emotional situations arise, Architects may feel out of their depth. Even with their closest friends, these personalities may struggle to offer comfort – or receive it. Architects are used to feeling knowledgeable and capable, and this sudden cluelessness can be disorienting for them.
A Unique Friendship
It’s not always easy to befriend an Architect. People with this personality type have little patience for social rules. Instead, they look for friends who value intellect, honesty, and self-improvement. They may become bored or irritated by anyone who falls short of this mark. Fortunately, anyone who does share these qualities is likely to appreciate Architects as well.
Among friends whom they know and respect, Architects have no trouble relaxing and being themselves. Their sarcasm and witty banter may not be for everyone – especially people who struggle to read between the lines. But Architects reward their true friends with candor and insight, along with an endless supply of fascinating stories, ideas, and conversations.
PARENTHOOD
“Children must be taught how to think, not what to think.”
Architects (INTJs) are known for their rationality and self-control, and they may be bemused by anyone who doesn’t share these strengths – for example, children. Parenting may not come easily to these personalities, requiring them to master new skills and increase their cognitive flexibility. Fortunately, Architects are pretty much always up for a challenge. And for Architects who choose to have children, few challenges may be as meaningful as parenthood.
An Honest Connection
Architects want their children to grow up to be capable and self-reliant, with clear interests and strong critical-thinking skills. Rather than enforce pointless rules, they look for age-appropriate ways to foster their child’s independence. That’s not to say that parents with this personality type are lenient – far from it. They expect their children to use their freedom responsibly.
Some personality types might shelter their children from difficult subjects, but Architect parents typically believe that knowledge is far better than ignorance. For them, candor is a way of showing respect, and shielding their children from reality would be a disservice. Of course, the success of this approach depends on Architects’ ability to correctly gauge their children’s readiness for these hard truths.
The Chaos of Emotions
Compared to other personality types, Architects aren’t especially comfortable with displays of affection. Showering someone with love, praise, and affection can feel unnatural to them – even if that “someone” is their own child. But children need cuddling and other expressions of love, particularly during their younger years. As a result, Architect parents may need to expand their emotional comfort zone in order to show their children how much they are loved.
Another challenge for parents with this personality type is offering emotional support. Architects take pride in being in command of their feelings, and they might expect their children to be able to do the same. But this expectation isn’t reasonable – emotions may be confusing and, at times, chaotic, but they’re perfectly normal, and children need validation and support in order to navigate them.
Architects are at their best when they can develop a plan to solve a problem’s root cause. But sometimes the best solution to a kid’s problem is just sitting with them as they explore their feelings.
Preparing for Life’s Challenges
Architects try to make sure that their children are prepared to deal with anything that life throws at them. Parents with this personality type can reframe problems as opportunities for personal growth, inspiring their children to develop their own style of rational thinking and problem-solving. Over time, Architects’ children can apply these skills to increasingly complex situations, building their confidence as they grow.
Every parent has a different dream for their child’s future. For Architects, the dream is to raise a competent adult who knows their own mind and solves their own problems – and, if the time comes, helps their own children do the same. Architects understand that this can’t happen if they protect their children from every difficult or unpleasant thing in life. But their hope is that, if they give their children the right tools, they won’t have to.
CAREER PATHS
“One never notices what has been done; one can only see what remains to be done, and if one didn’t like the work, it would be very discouraging.”
Professional know-how is often where Architects (INTJs) shine most brilliantly. But these personalities won’t settle for just any career. They want to tackle meaningful challenges and find elegant solutions to important problems, not just tinker with figures in a spreadsheet.
Architects also want the freedom to exercise their greatest strengths. Few personality types, if any, can match their ability to transform complex principles into clear and actionable strategies. Architects know how much they have to offer in their professional lives – and for them, any job that fails to draw on their skills and knowledge is a wasted opportunity.
The Early-Career Blues
Starting out at the bottom of the career ladder can be frustrating for Architects. Early in their professional lives, they may be saddled with easy, routine tasks that bore them half to death. People with this personality type brim with creative, out-of-the-box ideas. But with their disdain for schmoozing and workplace politics, they may struggle to earn the favor of their bosses and colleagues.
The good news is that, over time, Architects can develop their abilities into a track record so effective that it can’t be ignored. Even when the people around them fall prey to groupthink, Architect personalities can cut through the noise and figure out the true cause of a problem – and then fix it. Their competence gives them an advantage. As long as they don’t alienate their coworkers, Architects can advance in their careers and gain the independence they need to see their ideas through.
Finding Their Place
Some personality types are drawn to jobs that require nonstop teamwork and interaction, but Architects tend to prefer lone-wolf positions. By working alone or in small groups, they can make the most of their creativity without constant interruptions from curious coworkers or second-guessing supervisors. Architects really do believe that if you want something done right, you’d better do it yourself.
The other side of that coin is that Architects have little respect for anyone who gets ahead based on networking or nepotism rather than merit. People with this personality type value resourcefulness, grit, insight, and commitment – in themselves and in others. They believe that everyone should get their work done to the highest possible standards. So if a social butterfly at work breezes through without carrying their own weight, Architects may feel called to use their ingenuity to bring that person back down to earth.
Ever Greater Challenges
Architect personality types demand progress and evolution, and they love to explore new ideas. As their careers progress, they may be drawn to positions that allow them to influence a company or organization’s overall strategies. Many Architects pursue low-profile but influential roles as project managers, systems engineers, marketing strategists, systems analysts, and military strategists.
Architects view a combination of intelligent approaches and hard work as the road to excellence.
The truth is that Architects can excel in just about any role. Some careers with strong social components, such as sales or human resources, might not seem like obvious fits – but fortunately, Architects know how to look beyond the obvious. These personalities have the creativity and vision to make important contributions in any workplace, and these skills certainly give them a leg up if they choose to start their own business.
Workplace Habits
What Architects (INTJs) want – wherever they may be in their careers – is to pursue their professional goals according to their own standards. And if any personality type has high standards for themselves, it’s almost certainly Architects.
In theory, this attitude makes for a model employee and coworker. And in many ways, Architects are exactly that. But some personality types may find it a challenge to work with Architects. Architects may be harsh or dismissive toward people they don’t respect – and unfortunately, losing their respect can be all too easy. In particular, they have little time for coworkers who prioritize convenience over innovation or socializing over success.
Architect Subordinates
Architects are known for their independence. Even in entry-level jobs, they may chafe at anyone who tries to limit their freedom. Their worst nightmare would be a micromanaging boss who monopolizes their time with pointless meetings, insists on useless rules, and appraises employees’ performance based on how likable they seem rather than their actual merits.
Titles mean little to Architects, and they often struggle to defer to a manager they don’t respect. They might also find it difficult to restrain themselves from offering their bosses feedback and criticism – an approach that, depending on the boss, can backfire.
In the real world, not all bosses will be as logical or open-minded as Architects might prefer. But that doesn’t mean that people with this personality type should allow a less-than-ideal manager to hold them back.
Architects may need to use all of their creativity and ingenuity to expand their responsibilities and develop their expertise – even if they don’t have the independence they crave. To do this, they may need to prioritize building a productive and respectful relationship with their manager, no matter how far from perfect that person may be.
Architect Colleagues
Few Architects choose jobs that require constant teamwork or social interaction. To these personalities, most team-building techniques and group meetings are a waste of time. And chitchat, gossip, and office politics – well, those can be nothing short of workplace plagues.
Many Architects would rather work alone than be slowed down by anyone who isn’t as focused as they are. Fortunately, their perfectionism and resolve often enable them to produce effective results even without the help of others.
That’s not to say that Architects can’t work with others – in fact, they may achieve some of their greatest successes this way. Their capability and reliability can make them excellent collaborators. People with this personality type may never enjoy pairing up with coworkers who get hung up on the wrong details or can’t otherwise earn their respect. But in the company of a small group of trusted colleagues, Architects’ brainstorming sessions may become even more electric.
Architect Managers
Though they may be surprised to hear it, Architects can make great leaders. In the workplace, they rarely throw around their authority just to prove that they’re in charge. Instead, they look for ways to promote innovation and effectiveness – even if that means breaking with established hierarchies. Some managers might enjoy being pandered to, but Architect personalities would rather be successful than constantly validated.
Generally speaking, Architects prefer to treat those who work for them as equals. Rather than micromanaging, they aim to direct broader strategies while letting other people handle day-to-day activities. That’s not to say that they’re completely hands-off, however. Architect bosses want to know exactly what’s going on and when, and they're always ready to drill into any level of detail necessary.
These managers respect and reward proactive behavior, delegating responsibilities to employees with the strongest critical-thinking skills. But this freedom isn’t just granted – it’s required. Employees who struggle to direct themselves – who just want to be told what to do – may have a hard time meeting Architects’ standards. And anyone who tries to cover up bad results with flattery or excuses is likely to be disappointed. Those strategies rarely work with Architect personalities.
CONCLUSION
“No escape from patterns and systems, no exits. Nothing, and no one, resides outside a system; that’s the way it is.”
Armed with powerful intellects and strategic minds, Architects (INTJs) can outmaneuver obstacles that seem unbeatable to most. But their strengths, when misunderstood, can turn into weaknesses – and keep them from reaching their full potential.
In reading through this personality profile, you probably hit a tipping point. You went from trademark Architect skepticism to “Huh…” to “Wait, what?” You may even be a little uncomfortable, because you’re not used to being understood, even by the people closest to you.
Chances are you’ve accepted this as part of who you are and maybe even grown proud of it. But embracing that disconnect isn’t a requirement for Architects. It’s a misused defense mechanism, leading you down a lonely, inefficient path. Gaining insight into yourself and others is so much more rewarding – and effective.
82% of Architects surveyed reported that they’re cynical.
81% rated themselves a 4–5 out of 5 in skepticism.

Staci, Jacob, and John info - BIRTHDATES AND ZODIACS! Let’s make it official!
Since Ubisoft, at least for Far Cry 5, gave almost every character in-game the same face model as their voice actors, I thought what if their birth month/year were the same too?
Well, my dear bros, take a few minutes to read these incredible Zodiac traits for Staci/Julian Bailey, Jacob/Mark Pellegrino , and John/Seamus Dever, and it will prove these are really them! CELEBRATE ACCORDINGLY💕
Also thank you Anna @leavenopathuntaken, Doggo @decapitatedreality , and Jake @till-28 for your love and support

Staci: Birthday: May 25th (1992 Chinese: Monkey) Gemini -
***bonus info: “Pratt” Surname - English: nickname for a clever trickster, from Old English prætt ‘trick’, ‘tricky’, ‘cunning’ (which is found in use as a byname in the 11th century). This surname is quite common in southeastern Ireland***
- Monkeys are sharp, smart, but naughty.
- People born in a year of the Monkey have magnetic personalities and are witty and intelligent.
- Monkeys are fast learners and crafty opportunists. They have many interests and need partners who are capable of stimulating them.
- Although they are clever and creative, Monkeys can't always exhibit their talents properly. They like to accept challenges.
- Gemini rarely has hidden agendas.
- Playful and intellectually curious, Gemini is constantly juggling a variety of passions, hobbies, careers, and friend groups.
- the social butterflies of the zodiac:
- These quick-witted twins can talk to anyone about anything. Find them buzzing between happy hours, dinner parties, and dance floors.
- These curious twins are terrific pioneers, using their energy to spearhead innovative creative projects.
- A fearless thinker, Gemini is always down to try something new.
- These hyperactive air signs have short attention spans and are most satisfied when they can move fluidly from one idea to the next.
- Gemini is all about output, so these twins love to chat and often speak with their hands (which happens to be the body part associated with Gemini).
- They love texting and tweeting almost as much as they love talking IRL. In fact, the act of expression is often even more important to loquacious Gemini than what is actually being said, and they must remember to be thoughtful with their words. Another incredible Gemini quality, however, is that these natural chameleons can quickly recover from even the most shameful foot-in-mouth moments. Gemini moves too fast to care about embarrassing missteps: They simply move on.
- SEX: Gemini are represented by the twins, and are accordingly known for their dynamic duality. While some Gemini may literally explore multiples by way of threesomes, these air signs have enough personality to make even a monogamous get-down feel like an orgy.
- Gemini are ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication, so when it comes to dirty talk, these twins wrote the book: They’re extremely turned on by detailed accounts of lovemaking…even as the act is underway. Switching positions frequently during sex is extremely arousing for these energetic lovers. And don’t forget that Gemini rules the arms, so any opportunity to pin down, hold on to, or cuddle up to these limbs is a massive turn-on.

Jacob: Birthday: April 9 (1971 Chinese: Pig)- Aries:
***bonus info: “Seed” Surname- from Middle English sede ‘seed’; a metonymic occupational name for a gardener or husbandman (farmer), or a nickname for a small person. from a late Old English personal name, Sida, a post-Conquest short form of compound names formed with sidu ‘custom’, ‘manner’; ‘morality’, ‘purity’ as the first element.***
- Pigs are diligent, compassionate, and generous. They have great concentration: once they set a goal, they will devote all their energy to achieving it. Though Pigs rarely seek help from others, they will not refuse to give others a hand. Pigs never suspect trickery, so they are easily fooled.
- General speaking, Pigs are relatively calm when facing trouble. No matter how difficult the problems are Pigs encounter, they can handle things properly and carefully. They have a great sense of responsibility to finish what they are engaged in.
- Aries loves to be number one, so it’s no surprise that these audacious rams are the first sign of the zodiac. Bold and ambitious, Aries dives headfirst into even the most challenging situations (which is appropriate, since the body part associated with Aries is the head).
- Aries is a passionate, motivated, and confident leader who builds community with their cheerful disposition and relentless determination.
- Uncomplicated and direct in their approach, they often get frustrated by exhaustive details and unnecessary nuances. They like things quick and dirty, a temperament also reflected in their sexual proclivities.
- Aries leads with blind optimism, barreling through life with an electric joie de vivre that perfectly complements their distinctive impulsivity. These fire signs think after they leap, which often results in lessons learned the hard way.
- Aries represents the singular spirit. These rams adhere to an “every person for themselves” philosophy. While this self-determination can be inspiring, Aries needs to watch out for selfish tendencies.
- Aries is ruled by Mars, these courageous rams are always armed and ready for battle.
- Aries is known for an explosive temper, and although their outbursts don’t last long, it’s definitely best to avoid fiery rams until the steam has dissipated.
- But when these brazen rams are not flying off the handles, they’re upbeat, positive, and playful creatures who enjoy living life to its fullest.
- You can always be sure to spot an Aries excelling on the sports field, speeding down the highway, or organizing a vibrant party game.
- SEX: Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, and these fiery rams are known for their fast-paced, high-intensity approach to life. It’s no surprise that when it comes to sex, they’re turned on by impulsive, rapid bursts of passion that leave both partners wondering, What the hell just happened? — in a good way. Aries are always up for a challenge, and although foreplay is not their strong suit, they get riled up by the opportunity to take charge and get down.
- These pants-dropping, skirt-hiking fire signs are no stranger to quickies in unusual places, so don’t be surprised if your Aries lover wants to experiment with sex outside of the bedroom. Aries rules the head, so ask your Aries partner if they’d be into some extra hair-tousling, scalp-rubbing, or ponytail-pulling — chances are the answer will be an enthusiastic yes. These hot-blooded warriors should experiment with moves from behind: This sexy animalistic posture is perfect for impromptu trysts and sudden eruptions of desire.

John: Birthday: July 27 (1980 Chinese Year: Goat/Ram) - Leo:
- Rams are the most sensitive of all the signs. They can also be the most creative and artistically talented and may be drawn to the spiritual or esoteric.
- They are intelligent, romantic, charming, and compassionate.
- Rams always like to look their best and have a terrific sense of style.
- They flourish in an environment where they can work at their own pace, in spaces that are aesthetically pleasing, and surrounded by approval, love, and support.
- Rams are also known as the most potentially vulnerable and needy sign.
- Roll out the red carpet, because Leo has arrived. Leo is represented by the lion, and these spirited fire signs are the kings and queens of the celestial jungle. They’re delighted to embrace their royal status: Vivacious, theatrical, and passionate, Leos love to bask in the spotlight and celebrate themselves.
- These lions are natural leaders, and they enjoy cultivating friendships and romances that are artistically and creatively inspired.
- . Playful Leos have no problem leaning into drama-fueled romances that are perfectly suited for the tabloids. (In fact, they may even prefer them.) After all, every Leo perceives him or herself as a celebrity.
- These astrological divas never get tired of lavish dinners, exclusive parties, or decadent designer wear.
- Leos are renowned for their stability, loyalty, and consistency. They are dedicated friends.
- Lions love to watch their mates succeed — until they feel threatened. They can become impaired by their ego, pride, and jealousy when they start to fear their star power will be eclipsed.
- Ultimately, Leos' own hubris is the greatest threat to their happiness.
- SEX: These lions are proud to proclaim they’re the kings and queens of the jungle. And when it comes to sex, fiery Leos are just as declarative — and performative — between the sheets. The biggest sexual turn-on for any Leo is to feel desired. Leos adore seduction (both giving and receiving) through lavish dates, over-the-top expressions of adoration, and grandiose romantic gestures. They purr at the very thought of being wanted, especially when that burning desire leads to passionate, dramatic lovemaking.
- Leo rules the heart and spine, so light caresses down Leos’ backs are a major turn on for these erotic wildcats. Leos should try seated positions in chairs (ahem, throne) for a theatrical sexual display that allows partners to share tender kisses while also finding their moment in the spotlight. (Lap dance, anyone?)

bts astro soulmate reading | for linds
sign: scorpio sun | aquarius moon | pisces rising
lover: jeon jungkook | soulmate: kim taehyung
This reading is for Linds @jungkickedme. Linds is a Jungkook bias who is regularly wrecked by Jimin - I can relate! Hope are staying safe and well and quarantine, and I hope to meet you when this is all over! <3
Tumblr media
The woman with her sun in Scorpio and moon in Aquarius is as strong, commanding and powerful as she is sensitive, alluring, and elegant. You love being admired but also treasure bouts of solitude to sort through your many ideas, emotions, and energies before bringing them back into the outside world. Add in a Pisces ascendant, and you get a fiercely loyal person with an endless stream of romantic ideations, but rarely meeting people with your level of passion. As a result, you can be sometimes seen as a recluse, preferring company amongst your brilliant ideas over the superficiality of the outside world. You are a visionary, and while not all of your ideas come to fruition before you’ve moved on to your next conquest, you are appreciated for your highly creative and ambitious spirit. Not at all interested in superficial interactions or relationships, you attract many but retain few as you tend to have extremely idealistic notions of what they ideal person should be like. You do not commit to anything without fully thinking it through and assessing its worthiness of your devotion, and that self-assuredness radiates through you. These are the things that immediately draw people to you, and Jeon Jungkook is no exception.
In alignment with your emotional and creative spirit, your Pisces ascendant means that you have numerous, ever-changing interests that you do not always stick to for too long. This drives people crazy, but Jungkook adores this about you as he is quite similar in his pursuit of his interests. Together, your relationship is one of constant adventure and thrill-seeking. You are turned on by his spontaneous nature and competitive edge, and he enjoys your ability to get him out of his critical mind, making life truly enjoyable. This extends into bed, wherein you are able to show him just how innovative you are. While his Virgo is more reserved, he’s happy to follow you into any fitting room or the backseat of his Benz where he gets to grab your hips and your tits as you bounce on his cock, his doe eyes taking in the visual as you take him in.
You want your partner to shower you with affection, which is something that Jungkook cannot provide as often as you would like. The reasons you fell for him - his ambition, his pragmatism, his analytic nature - inevitably become points of resentment. Too often his mind is always focused on his next project, hobby or career goal and not enough on maintaining your relationship. His decision to play video games instead of coming directly to you after a long day hurts your feelings, the assuredness you need of his feelings becoming a point of contention. He loves you, and when he is with you he is truly all yours, but is not overly showy of his affections - you are simply supposed to know and trust that they exist. The Scorpio in you wants power, control and knowing that you have his heart, mind, body and soul, but he finds himself unable to reach that level of emotional maturity.
Though this relationship cannot last, it does not end in a clean break. The sex that ensues as your relationship reaches its end is some of the most intense and passionate you have ever had, as it is in these moments that he can really shed his Virgo armor and be that emotional, vulnerable partner you’ve been craving this entire time. You savor the last moments of his large, strong hands firmly grabbing the back of your legs as he thrusts into you, your knees lifted up to your chest so he can completely fill you up with each stroke. The vigor of his movements contrast with the softness of the moment, your foreheads pressed together as he coos sweetly, his eyes dark and teary. *Look into my eyes while I fuck you baby. P-please, don’t stop. I want to remember this forever.* This does not make the ultimate separation easy, and try as you might to let each other go, there is always a lingering sense of “what ifs” which tie you together for years to come.
There is nothing easy about you, and ultimately you need someone strong who can navigate the changing currents of your personality, which can go from upbeat and energetic to anxious and isolating in a short span of time due to your watery placements. Enter the enigmatic and multidimensional Kim Taehyung.
On the night you meet Tae, you are enthusiastically telling a story to a group of friends during a night out, the drama pouring out of every word which happens when you’re excited. You look over a friend’s shoulder and notice Tae’s smoldering stare from the corner of the room as he admires your animated, emotional and lively demeanor which gives you the green light to approach him. From the moment you start talking, you are drawn to Tae’s innate trademark Capricorn confidence, self-assuredness, and direct nature. You are both highly intuitive and immediately feel at ease with each other, signaling a shared depth that is not often accessed by others. Your instinctive nature is one of your super powers, and from the start you know that it won’t be long until he’s yours. Much to your surprise it is he who has you pressed against the door to his bedroom merely hours later. You can feel his lips form into a smirk against your neck as your frenzied moans escape you, his fingers slipping beneath the folds of your as his length presses into your thigh. *I knew you were a fucking freak.*
You are a person that, thanks to all three placements in water, can essentially shape-shift to fit any given situation. While this was something that can be confusing for some people in your life, Kim Taehyung finds this quality about you extremely entertaining. He enjoys competing with you for power, though knows when to lay back and let you take control. When you get jealous of all the blatant attention he gets, he can quickly laugh it off and appease you with warm words, a soft embrace and forehead kisses or he can bend you over the counter and make you stop being such a brat. It makes you sick to even think of someone else enjoying his perfect cock, but as his fingers rub your clit and he thrusts into you, growling baby into your ear, you remember he’s all yours.
Ultimately, once you learn to fully trust him, you understand the full extent of your shared empathy, compassion, and emotional states. He proves to be an excellent partner, leader and provider - supporting all of your dreams and endeavors while excelling in his own pursuits. The embodiment of fantasy, mystery and excitement, you subconsciously desire and fear stability (which you often equate with routine and boredom). Tae shows you that you can, in fact, have both and the power of truly committing your goals, seeing them through until the end. Instead of jumping ship when things get challenging, Tae forces you to focus on each task at hand. Together, you prove to be a harmonious duo, laying down the foundation for an altogether fulfilling, stable, and exciting life.

Um so I had an amazing year
You cannot get poor enough to help poor people thrive or sick enough to help sick people get well. You only ever uplift from your position of strength and clarity and alignment. – Abraham/Esther Hicks
 So.
 I had an amazing year.
And I’m embarrassed to say it because I’m not dumb. (At least I hope I’m not.) I look around and can see suffering. Upheaval. Sickness. Poverty. I’m not denying those things exist or minimizing anyone else’s experience.
But I wanted to share why I had an amazing year with the intent of uplifting someone else.
 Maybe you.
I’m ending the year feeling happier, healthier, richer, more creatively fulfilled, and closer to my family than I have in a very, very long time. I credit this to a few small but key things—and overall, to one book.
Last year about this time I listened to Atomic Habits by James Clear. I’ve lost track of how many copies I’ve bought of this book. Maybe four? At least two hardback copies, because I gave one away. Simply stated, the audio changed my life.
Just—if you’re sick of listening to yourself complain about your bank account or weight or whatever, and you’re serious about changing things, go read/listen to this book.
AND THEN ACTUALLY DO WHAT HE SAYS. The little, dumb, tiny changes. Because they add up.
Last year I got sick of complaining about the same things year after year. And since I mostly complain in my journal or in my own head, it was a very boring place to be. I got sick of wondering why the balance in my bank account didn’t change, why I wasn’t losing weight, and why I wanted to write so much and wasn’t getting anywhere, even though I tried.
But these things (richer, slimmer, more creative) were also what I really desired, deep down inside. I wanted to feel more financially stable, healthier (defined by weight loss), and to write more. (Well, I already wrote plenty. I wanted to write stuff and put it in public where people could actually read it.) These dreams felt very special and secret, but I think they’re somewhat universal—at least for authors.
(Please note: I know that mental health can get in the way of taking any action at all. I’ve written about my depression and anxiety before. If this blog entry makes you feel overwhelmed, please know I’ve been where you are. Focus on taking care of yourself in whatever way you can and don’t worry about all this aspirational ambitious stuff I’m writing. Because the aspirational and ambitious can simply be getting out of bed and taking a shower. I’m proud of you for hanging in there.)
After listening to Atomic Habits, I decided to do the following macro habits all throughout 2020—and I checked these off on a little grid in the James Clear journal:
 1. Take my vitamins.
2. Save $5 every day.
3. Write 10,000 words per week.
4. Post a blog entry every Wednesday and Saturday.
5. Go to the gym 3-5 times a week.
I thought that these were things that could get me to my goals—richer, slimmer, more creatively fulfilled. And overall—happy.
I also had some habits I already did. These were:
 1. Meditate for 10 minutes every day. (I usually use a guided YouTube video).
2. Write three pages longhand as Morning Pages (per Julia Cameron). (Incidentally, I’ve done this for decades and credit it to the reason I don’t get writer’s block.)
3. Take a Swedish lesson on Duolingo.
I just wanted to keep these up.
I have lots more habits … like brushing my teeth or whatever (and I actually floss because I bought the stuff and leave it out where I can see it), but the ones above are my more unusual habits.
 Well, what happened?
 1. I took my vitamins. Boring, but I’m also quite healthy, so maybe it helps my overall wellbeing. I haven’t been sick all year. I keep them by my bed where I see them and remember to take them.
(Yes, I wash my hands all the time and don’t touch my face. And yes, I stayed home in quarantine. Yes, I wore a mask when I went out. But I think taking vitamins helped.)
 2. I ended up saving $5 every workday not every day. I either transferred the money to a Capital 360 account because it’s hard to transfer it back or put $5 into a Stash account. I sometimes would skip Starbucks or something similar and feel virtuous about transferring the $5. Other times I just transferred it.
At the beginning of the year, the Capital 360 account had $5. It now has $806.
At the beginning of the year the Stash account had $50. It now has almost $2500. (Buying $5 here and there in March when the stock market was down ended up making about $500 over the year, a 23% increase.)
Um, so that’s like $3200 I just kinda now have. Incidentally, $5 per day is $1825 over the course of the year, and I’ve almost doubled that because I invested it, not just saved it—and also sometimes I’d transfer like $10 or $25 if I was feeling wild. Over the months, I saw how the account balance would get close to an even number (like $500), so I’d transfer enough to make it that amount. And it just kept going.
(Also, I’m not intending on this to be money advice. Go talk to someone who actually knows. My thought process was to hedge my bets with doing both safe and speculative—a savings account that earned interest and then various stocks. I also wasn’t spending money I needed for food, shelter, etc. I barely felt the expense, but I very much feel the accumulation of savings.)
There really is magic in just starting to do something small, because it really does compound and snowball into good things.
Maybe in the grand scheme of things $3200 isn’t that much. To me it feels like I have this cute little cushion I literally created out of loose change in a year.
Honestly, it feels like a lot, not “cute” or “little.” If I don’t compare myself to millionaires, it’s kind of amazing.
What would happen if you transferred $1 or $2 a day? By the end of 2021, see how much you have…
Another money habit: I wanted to stop buying so much online and one-clicking so many ebooks—even free ones—because it was just too much. I had like 800 unread books. So I kept track of the days I didn’t buy anything or download any books. My ecommerce moratorium ended up being streaks of time I didn’t buy anything and then a day where I would buy everything off of Amazon or whatever all at once. Not sure it did much except make me feel marginally better. With ebooks, while my TBR count is less than what it was at the beginning of the year, it isn’t the zero I’d hoped it to be. But I seriously read about 300-400 books—about 1-2 a day. (I read fast and don’t sleep.) My “read” pile jumped from 800 to 1100. Not sure what to make of it except I read so much and it was really fun. So, I still have about 680 books on my TBR pile for next year. That can be another habit to work on.
 3. I’ve written more than 530,000 words this year. The habit I tied it to incidentally, was opening my laptop. If I open my laptop—and that’s a habit I record with a tick mark on a grid—it’s a lot easier to get into the document and start writing. So the way I trick myself to write is I tell myself all I have to do is open my laptop. Simple. I check off the box that I did it and I feel virtuous. To reward myself for actually getting the word count, I have a little jar with binder clips in it and every 1,000 words I put a binder clip in a small old milk bottle. Then I can see the words add up.
I also did a spreadsheet to know what I’ve written this year. I’ve never done one before because it felt too quantitative rather than qualitative. Writing is supposed to be this outlet for me, not something to beat to death with statistics. But I’m glad I did it because writing can be so amorphous. Putting parameters on it made it feel real.
Oh, and I’ve finished one book, set to be published in February. I have a contract for another, and it’s (today) at 77,000 words. Three more books are 50% or more done. And I did NaNoWriMo. So, yeah. It was a productive year.
I also learned that I like juggling projects. Focusing on one can make me stagnant. If I get stuck on one, moving to another really seemed to keep my momentum going.
But I’m now focusing on getting them done and shipped. One at a time. Because they’re all just so close I can feel it.
 4. Before this year, I’d published eleven blog entries from 2017 to 2019. This year, I’ve posted 97, not counting this one. I missed a time or two at the beginning, but um, yeah… That’s a big difference.
The reasons I wanted to focus on posting blog entries were multifold. I’d felt “out of it” as far as publishing, having worked on one book for so long that wasn’t gelling. I’d felt frustrated and jealous of those who got their work done. I needed the instant gratification—so to speak—of putting something out there while I worked on projects that took longer. I also wanted to inure myself to the fear of putting myself out there. With each entry—still—I feel fear, but I wanted to do it anyway. So that when the time comes to publish more fiction, I can go, “yeah, I’ve hit publish (literally) 100 times, what’s the big deal?”
My guiding point for writing a blog post has been my gut feeling—tempered by wanting to reach out and help someone else. But to keep up a streak, there is a document on my computer called “Default blog post.” This is what it says in its entirety:
 Default blog post
I told myself I just needed to post a blog every Wednesday and Saturday.
Here is me keeping that promise.
If you see that, well, you’ll know how the week is going.
Is there an endgame here? What am I going to do with these blog posts? I can see me taking some ideas and expanding on them and creating some sort of nonfiction/self-help kind of book. I’ve always wanted to do that. I do see them as steppingstones to something bigger.
It also lets me be okay with imperfection. Typos. “Think-Os.” Whatever. This is me with no editor.
 5. So, the gym. Well, until it closed, I was going. My trigger was that I just had to check in. That was how I checked the box. Like opening the laptop, actually getting to the gym is the hard part. Once I was there, it was easy.
But the gym closed and is still closed. Like all of us, I needed a Plan B. (C? D?)
I’ve done short walks and long. Currently, I’m just working on doing pushups. I can do a lot of pushups with my knees on the ground. But I can only do a few “real” ones, so that’s what I’m keeping track of. I’m focusing on doing them slowly and properly, not faking my way through them. Faking them is easy, but I’d rather be able to do them right and have the actual arm strength. My trigger for when I do them is when I close my journal, I have to get down and do pushups. (Currently it’s seven.) To someone else that goal might be ridiculously easy. To me, it’s rather difficult and a little embarrassing to post, but whatever. I’m being honest.
I’m ending the year a few pounds lighter than last year—and lighter than I’ve been in years—so I’m calling it a win.
With the other habits, meditating keeps me happy as does dumping my brain in the morning pages. Oh, and I’m on day 622 in a row of Swedish on Duolingo. It feels like I’ve taken about a semester of college Swedish. Not enough to actually converse with someone but getting the hang of it. I’m motivated by a desire to go to Sweden and see some ancestral places—and actually understand some of the language, even though I know most Swedes speak better English than me.
With COVID-19, like most of us, I’ve spent more time at home, but I’m temperamentally suited to that. I know it’s hurt extroverts hard, but as far as I’m concerned, I got to see my family more—even when I went to the office for work.
What am I looking forward to next year? I like the habits I started for 2020. I just want to keep these systems up, because they seem to be working for me. I hope that by using these systems I end up with four to five books happily published in 2021 and I look forward to seeing how the exercise and money habits work out as well.
This entry is about two or three times my usual blog entry, so if you made it this far, thank you. I hope it inspires you to take a small action and then keep taking that small action over and over again. They really do add up.
I wish you the most amazing year ever in 2021. Know that it’s possible.

Primal Zodiac of the LU Links
So I was browsing through Tumblr when I found a link to Primal Astrology, in which it gives you a primal zodiac by combining your Chinese Zodiac (birth year) and your Zodiac constellation (birth month) signs, and I was fairly amused by how some parts were pretty accurate describing my personality.
Me being rather obsessed with LU, I decided to look up the Primal Zodiac signs for each Link in the LU verse, based on their release date of their “timeline-wise” first adventure (eg: Four= Minish cap)
Some of the descriptions I found pretty close to what the fandom depicts each Link’s personality, and some I kinda disagree/ not certain about.
Ones I agree for the most part:
Hyrule      February 21, 1986 -> Pisces + Tiger = Stingray “those born under the sign ... are adventurous, humanitarian, generous, sincere, rebellious, and emotionally fragile all at the same time. .... but stingrays are also deep thinkers, dreamers, and idealists. ..... While they may spend a great deal of time lingering in the background, they are not afraid to stand up for themselves, and can be a very formidable opponent.... love intense conversations and ideas that they can share with others... tend to play whatever role suits them best in different social situations... attracted to mysterious people, places, and things... relish the unusual and unexplained...”      (That’s how I see Hyrule for the most part)
Legend      November 21, 1991 -> Scorpio + Sheep = Panda “...tend to be popular but loners, want to go with the flow but have to feel in charge of their own destiny, long to relax but are always working on projects.... Those born under this sign are quiet, collected, and focused, but can become obsessive, overly critical, and anxious if left alone for too long. ... aren’t very social by nature, but still enjoy having like-minded friends around. ... may not seem their nature, they are deep down romantics...”      (while some may debate on the quiet part, I see that as him being quiet about himself, not sharing too much with others.)
Time      November 21, 1998 -> Scorpio + Tiger = Honey badger “Powerful, passionate, and resilient ... fierce competitors who are not afraid to go after what they want. .... fearless in their conquests and will not back down to anyone. ... Deep down Honey badgers want something to live fore beyond mere day to day survival. Survival is easy for them, finding their place in the world is not.  On the outside they come across as tough, mysterious, and unable to be broken, but inside they are actually quite fragile and complex. .... members of this sign are old souls who carry with them a deep wisdom that allows them to understand human nature. They inherently know what people want, which is why they are often so successful. ....spend a great deal of their time and energy pursuing their goals, and are almost always alone or leading a group. Those who do get to know them well discover that they are extremely loyal to their friends and actually have a surprisingly great (and shocking) sense of humor. When they relax they can be the surprise hit of the party.”     (The Old man in a nutshell, for the most part)
Warriors      August 14, 2014 -> Leo + Horse = Hyena “members of this sign strongly prefer to spend time in large groups of friends and families. ... very strong-willed sign with the ability to follow through on their promises and take what is theirs when necessary. .... have an easy charm about them that draws other people in. ... great at taking charge of situations, and are by far most comfortable when they are in charge. .... main weakness of Hyenas is their tendency to be self-centered. .... are highly likable, and tend to only conflict with others who challenge their social leadership. Even in social groups where everyone is equal, Hyenas tend to become the de facto leaders of the group simply because of their ease and charm.”      (The Captain in a nutshell. ‘nough said.)
Wild       March 3, 2017 -> Pisces + Rooster = Ocelot “keep others at a distance. ... don’t really want confrontation.... (but) enjoy the company of others quite a bit. They sometimes isolate themselves because it is the easiest, and sometimes the only, way to fully harness their immense creative power. .... can get things done, but in their own unique, visionary style. They truly don’t need others to succeed, but can benefit quite a bit from connecting to people in the real world. ... like to be inspired by new surroundings and new adventures.”
(I don’t completely agree with the keep others at a distance and they make a big front to do so, but one thing is that Wild’s personality can differ depending on the player’s play style, so I guess this may fit in some interpretations.)
Wind      December 13, 2002 -> Sagittarius + Horse = Dove “Independent, energetic, and adventurous, .... love life and long for new experiences. ... always looking forward; they rarely dwell on the past. ... often restless, which can lead them to take risks in life. .... seem lucky because they are so optimistic. Even when they are feeling down, those born under this sign always manage to get back on track. They believe that they can have whatever they want if they work hard for it, and they are almost always right. .... They have tons of energy and never want to stop moving, which ironically causes them to miss out on many of life’s more subtle experiences. .... they are spirited, independent and have a tendency to speak bluntly, but they also have big hearts, great senses of humor, and a unique philosophy about life.”     (he is a sailor and an explorer for new land, I do see Wind never wanting to stop moving)
Ones I’m not sure:
Sky
November 18, 2011 -> Scorpio + Rabbit = Koala “Emotional, powerful, and intense, .... It’s not that they are putting up a false front, it’s that they are trying to keep their tornado of emotions safely inside themselves. .... can seem harmless from a distance, but can be quite defensive if provoked or approached without caution. .... A tendency of this sign is to use passive aggression and subtle manipulation to get what they want. While they try their hardest to be convincing, they can’t help but wear their emotions on their sleeves. ....  Koalas are deeply emotional, and on top of that they have a way of burying their feelings to keep them secret, even to themselves. ....  When in their element, these individuals are surprisingly sweet, loving, caring, and even funny.”     (I see Sky being sweet as his default emotion, that isn’t a surprising element of his personality. This description had a more negative connotation with the word “emotional”  than positive for me. But if you look at it in a different angle, he may harbor some passive aggression.)
Four
     November 4, 2004 -> Scorpio + Monkey = Raven
“ Strong, curious, and energetic, ...  deepest desire is to overcome the odds, to triumph, and to prove themselves to the world. ....  difficult to pin down.  .... the Raven Spirit was considered a trickster - a sly and cunning individual who would often get what they wanted, or otherwise entertain themselves, through the intellectual manipulation of others. Powerful and unpredictable ....  highly developed senses of humor...  Loyal, gregarious, and funny, Ravens can be the life of the party or they can be self-absorbed, competitive, and negative. ... prefer to be big fish in a small pond, getting their fix of attention from those who know and understand them best.”
(Hmmm, Four is a difficult person to pin down his personality, he does have four separate ones if he wishes to use the ability of the Four Sword. Cunning, yes he is, but intellectual manipulation of others for his amusement? that sounds more like Shadow. Then again, Shadow did kinda come from Four...)
Twilight
     November 19, 2006 -> Scorpio + Dog = Octopus
“Loyal, ambitious, and intense, ... prefer to deal in facts rather than emotions. ... can be fairly anti-social. To be more specific, they tend to be uncomfortable in most social situations. ...  prefer time alone or with a couple of their closest friends with whom they share a great deal of the same ideals. ....  The mind ... is both complex and contradictory. They are part rebel but part people-pleaser. They have deep reserves of inner strength but become nervous and uncertain at the slightest glitch in the plan. They are passive while temperamental, honest while secretive, ....  internalize their negative feelings rather than expel them into the world, .... value loyalty, honor, and work ethic above all else. They often have difficulty creating their own happiness, mostly because they prioritize things like pride and power over peace and serenity. Always hardest on themselves... Socializing is not their strong suit,...”
(Socializing not being his strong suit? Anti-social? I don’t see it. Twilight is very good with children. You need to be able to do socializing to have smaller children adore you, like how the Ordon children adores Twilight in the game. Not emotional? Twilight is pretty emotional, I mean look at his expressions in TP!)
Those are my opinions. What do you guys think? (you can click the underlined hyperlinks to see the full profile for each sign)

Share your natal chart tag game ✨
Rules: go to this website and generate your natal chart if you can (you’ll need a place of birth + time of birth). Report the results for your Sun, Moon and Ascendant, and bold the statements that apply to you
Thanks for the tag Anni @whatagreatproblemtohave 😁 I’ll do under the line thingy too cause this is massive.
The Sun is in Capricorn Capricorn is a feet-on-the-ground, eye-on-the-prize sign. Those with Sun in Capricorn have a realistic, grounded approach to life that can be seen no matter how dreamy the rest of the birth chart suggests. These people know how to do things, and to get things done (this is something people say frequently to me, specially at work, so I’ll go with that). Some Capricorns naturally turn their backs on things they deem too frivolous. They are very much concerned with things that are worthwhile--and that includes their own lives. Capricorns want to do and be something worthwhile. Like their Earth signs relatives, Taurus and Virgo, they need to feel useful and effective in the real world in order to be satisfied with their lives. But the Capricorn spin on the earth signs is that Capricorn possesses a stronger need for recognition in a worldly sense. They have a strong sense of society and its framework, and they feel most secure when they feel they are doing their part within that framework. (geez, way to call me out at the end there) Capricorns like to pare things down, and take pleasure in the simple things in life. However, many are attracted to status symbols and these ones will wear the best clothes (tasteful ones!) and drive quietly impressive cars. Comparing Capricorns to their symbol, the goat, brings up some interesting analogies. Solar Capricorns can see into the future, and plan for it. They don't mind taking things slowly, but they absolutely aim to get to the top of the mountain in life! They make their way steadily and sure-footedly; and their strength and singleness of purpose are admirable. Capricorns can sometimes be rather lonely people, although they rarely let it show. They are often a little reserved--even standoffish. This is generally because they value all things practical, and they'll seldom wear their emotions on their sleeves, unless they have a particularly flamboyant Moon sign. This is a sign that is surely the most resourceful of the zodiac. To some, Capricorns come across as unimaginative, but they can be enormously creative when it comes to the material world (hello my craft loving self). They are generally very capable people with a strong sense of tradition and responsibility. (sometimes too much, but I don’t know if this is a older sibling thing or a capricorn thing) Many Capricorns have mastered the art of making people laugh (don’t know if I mastered, but I love it). Their sense of humor can be of the deadpan variety--they're generally excellent at keeping a straight face. They can be bitingly sarcastic, too. Capricorns are not known for taking too many risks in life. They value the beaten track and things "tried and true". This is not to say they are stick-in-the-muds -- they simply value the hard work laid down by those who've been around before them (....well yeah. why ignore the past if we can use it. doesn’t everyone?). Turn to your Capricorn friends for help when you need to really get things done. They'll have practical advice, and they'll help you organize and manage your life a little better. Capricorns are generally good with their "word", dependable, and rather loyal people. Short description: She is honest, reserved, circumspect, honorable, and strong-willed. Quietly ambitious within the realms of the possible, she likes and takes on responsibility. She can work in the social domain. Possible issues: A sometimes bitter and mistrustful mind.
The Moon is in Gemini Lunar Geminis are usually pleasant, witty, and charming people (hopefully?). At home and with family, however, they can be moody and irritable at times (I just need my alone time, ok?). People with Moon in Gemini are always interesting people--they have a finger in every pie, are curious to a fault, and are generally well-informed. Nervousness and worry are common traits (so now I know who to blame) with this lunar position. An underlying restlessness is common, and many Lunar Geminis need more stimulation than others. They usually read a lot, talk a lot, and think a lot (ok, this is definitely me) with this airy, mutable position of the Moon. Their homes are often a perpetual work-in-progress (😅). They generally dislike housework, but are big on home improvement. Re-organizing their homes in little--and sometimes big--ways seems to keep them happy, as Lunar Geminis are easily bored by both routine and constancy. Often, this is a reflection of their inner world--"the grass is always greener..." applies here. Inwardly, Lunar Geminis are often unsettled (...so that’s why my room changed 150% during lockdown). Moon in Gemini parents are generally more adept at handling the intellectual needs of their children than emotional ones. Others' complicated emotions, in general, can be difficult for Lunar Geminis to handle. In their families, Lunar Geminis often take on the role of organizing get-togethers. They are at their best when they have plenty of things to do beyond routine (usually reading, or crafting, or sewing... gimme something to do). Moon in Gemini people almost always have a way with words. They are clever and witty, and more often than not can be found chatting with others (... so yeah...). They are sociable and friendly, and feel comfortable in crowds (no. definitely don’t). Some pay too much attention to what everyone else is doing, and lose touch with what they really want to do. Generally, Lunar Geminis have a million and one projects going. They are impressionable folk, and their imagination is boundless. Their openness to new ideas is admirable, although decisiveness and persistence take a blow as a result. Still, versatility and adaptability (sounds like what I say in job interviews...) are some of the stronger traits of this position of the Moon. When irritable, they can easily become snappy. Their moodiness is complicated--this is not the same kind of moodiness you'll find with water sign moons, for example. Usually, difficult behavior stems from inner restlessness. Lunar Geminis want to do it all, and have trouble sticking to any one project. When problems arise, the first instinct of Moon in Gemini natives is to talk things out. Their tendency to analyze can give them the appearance of emotional detachment (my mom likes calling me cold. she also said to several friends I was autistic. I’m not). In fact, Lunar Geminis may be especially comfortable talking about their feelings, but feeling their own feelings doesn't come as easily. Those that don't take time out to really emote and understand their own needs may end up baffling others. Feeling misunderstood is common for Moon in Gemini natives. The only real solution to the problem is learning to get in touch with their own feelings (...no thanks). Short description: Sharp intellect. She likes literature, and will adapt to all situations and social groups. Work in contact with the public, literary occupations, travel (I work in a call center with focus in hospitality, and studied Literature in college...lol). Potential issues:  Lack of follow-up of ideas, indecision, may go back on decisions. (my capricorn my balance this out. I’m def not an indecisive person, and I finish what I start)
Ascendant is Gemini Those born with Gemini rising see the world as a place to learn. They are curious about the people around them. Sounds similar to Sagittarius rising? Well it is, but there are some important differences. While Sagittarius seeks to expand their mental and physical horizons in a broad sense, Gemini is mostly interested in moving about in their social circles. These are people who love to ask questions, to move around freely, and to mingle. Definitely restless and often quick in physical expression, natives of the Gemini Ascendant exude an air of impatience even if they don't mean it. In fact, there is a cleverness to Gemini Ascendants that can intimidate some, especially sensitive folk. Their facility with words can be a wonderful asset, although sometimes Gemini rising individuals identify too much with their mental agility and forget, in their personal interactions and communications, to nurture the people around them. A certain lack of warmth in presentation can be the result (so I’ve heard), and although this style is generally a facade, it is not immediately apparent to most. People with, for example, predominant Water signs may feel a little ill at ease with Gemini rising people (that is, before they get to know them more personally), while strong Air types more fully appreciate the fun and cleverness of these individuals. I have found two styles of presentation most common with Gemini rising people. One style is bubbly, changeable, talkative, and a little quirky. These natives are interesting and fun. They constantly explain things, whether it's their own behavior and opinion or those of the world around them. Another distinct "style" is a rather cool and intellectual demeanor. These natives are often quite witty and clever, but they present themselves in a less cheerful and changeable way than the first group. Their observations are sharp and the overall manner is a tad brusque (the first is me online or with people that know me well. The second is around people who don’t know me and usually my main ‘reputation’). No matter the style, Gemini rising natives are given to analysis and making sense of their world. Their powers of observation are well-developed, they are mentally active (more often than not, their minds are racing!), and they almost always have something bright or witty to say. It is easy for individuals with this position to get sidetracked, as their curiosity is large, their minds are quick, and their attention spans rather short! As children, natives born with a Gemini Ascendant are often labeled as the intellectual, inquisitive, and perhaps odd child. Many feel their upbringing lacked some warmth. In one-to-one relationships, Gemini rising people often seek a certain amount of personal freedom and space. They enjoy intellectual debates and exchanging ideas. Although they often demand a fair amount of freedom, they are often just as willing to give their partners room to breathe.

Veronica Lodge Personality Profile
Tumblr media
According to my knowledge, Veronica Lodge would be an ENTJ. Note: These are from a website, and therefore is what the website says for this type. I went through every single one to figure out the right fit for Veronica and this one was the closest and fit her best according to how she is in the show.
Commanders are natural-born leaders. People with this personality type embody the gifts of charisma and confidence, and project authority in a way that draws crowds together behind a common goal. However, Commanders are also characterized by an often ruthless level of rationality, using their drive, determination, and sharp minds to achieve whatever end they’ve set for themselves.
If there’s anything Commanders love, it’s a good challenge, big or small, and they firmly believe that given enough time and resources, they can achieve any goal. This quality makes people with the Commander personality type brilliant entrepreneurs, and their ability to think strategically and hold a long-term focus while executing each step of their plans with determination and precision makes them powerful business leaders. This determination is often a self-fulfilling prophecy, as Commanders push their goals through with sheer willpower where others might give up and move on, and their Extraverted nature means they are likely to push everyone else right along with them, achieving spectacular results in the process.
Commanders are dominant, relentless, and unforgiving. This isn’t because they are coldhearted or vicious per se – it’s more that Commander personalities genuinely enjoy the challenge, the battle of wits, the repartee that comes from this environment, and if the other side can’t keep up, that’s no reason for Commanders to fold on their own core tenet of ultimate victory.
If there’s anyone Commanders respect, it’s someone who is able to stand up to them intellectually, who is able to act with a precision and quality equal to their own. Commander personalities have a particular skill in recognizing the talents of others, and this helps in both their team-building efforts (since no one, no matter how brilliant, can do everything alone), and to keep Commanders from displaying too much arrogance and condescension. However, they also have a particular skill in calling out others’ failures with a chilling degree of insensitivity, and this is where Commanders really start to run into trouble.
Commanders’ distance from their emotions is especially public, especially in a professional environment. Commanders will simply crush the sensitivities of those they view as inefficient, incompetent, or lazy. To people with the Commander personality type, emotional displays are displays of weakness, and it’s easy to make enemies with this approach – Commanders will do well to remember that they absolutely depend on having a functioning team, not just to achieve their goals, but for their validation and feedback as well, something Commanders are, curiously, very sensitive to.
Commanders are true powerhouses, and they cultivate an image of being larger than life – and often enough they are. They need to remember though, that their stature comes not just from their own actions, but from the actions of the team that props them up, and that it’s important to recognize the contributions, talents, and needs, especially from an emotional perspective, of their support network. Even if they have to adopt a "fake it ‘til you make it" mentality, if Commanders are able to combine an emotionally healthy focus alongside their many strengths, they will be rewarded with deep, satisfying relationships and all the challenging victories they can handle.
STRENGTHS
Efficient – Commanders see inefficiency not just as a problem in its own right, but as something that pulls time and energy away from all their future goals, an elaborate sabotage consisting of irrationality and laziness. People with the Commander personality type will root out such behavior wherever they go.
Energetic – Rather than finding this process taxing Commanders are energized by it, genuinely enjoying leading their teams forward as they implement their plans and goals.
Self-Confident – Commanders couldn’t do this if they were plagued by self-doubt – they trust their abilities, make known their opinions, and believe in their capacities as leaders.
Strong-Willed – Nor do they give up when the going gets tough – Commander personalities strive to achieve their goals, but really nothing is quite as satisfying to them as rising to the challenge of each obstacle in their run to the finish line.
Strategic Thinkers – Commanders exemplify the difference between moment-to-moment crisis management and navigating the challenges and steps of a bigger plan, and are known for examining every angle of a problem and not just resolving momentary issues, but moving the whole project forward with their solutions.
Charismatic and Inspiring – These qualities combine to create individuals who are able to inspire and invigorate others, who people actually want to be their leaders, and this in turn helps Commanders to accomplish their often ambitious goals that could never be finished alone.
WEAKNESSES
Stubborn and Dominant – Sometimes all this confidence and willpower can go too far, and Commanders are all too capable of digging in their heels, trying to win every single debate and pushing their vision, and theirs alone.
Intolerant – “It’s my way or the highway” – People with the Commander personality type are notoriously unsupportive of any idea that distracts from their primary goals, and even more so of ideas based on emotional considerations. Commanders won’t hesitate a second to make that fact clear to those around them.
Impatient – Some people need more time to think than others, an intolerable delay to quick-thinking Commanders. They may misinterpret contemplation as stupidity or disinterest in their haste, a terrible mistake for a leader to make.
Arrogant – Commander personalities respect quick thoughts and firm convictions, their own qualities, and look down on those who don’t match up. This relationship is a challenge for most other personality types who are perhaps not timid in their own right, but will seem so beside overbearing Commanders.
Poor Handling of Emotions – All this bluster, alongside the assumed supremacy of rationalism, makes Commanders distant from their own emotional expression and sometimes downright scornful of others’. People with this personality type often trample others’ feelings, inadvertently hurting their partners and friends, especially in emotionally charged situations.
Cold and Ruthless – Their obsession with efficiency and unwavering belief in the merits of rationalism, especially professionally, makes Commanders incredibly insensitive in pursuing their goals, dismissing personal circumstances, sensitivities, and preferences as irrational and irrelevant.
RELATIONSHIPS
(ATM Archie Andrews, Reggie Mantle, Chuck Clayton)
As in other areas of their lives, Commanders approach dating and relationships with a set of goals and a plan to achieve them, and proceed to do so with impressive energy and enthusiasm. People with the Commander personality type are in it to win, and will gladly take leading roles in relationships from the start, assuming personal responsibility for how smoothly things go and working actively to ensure a mutually rewarding experience. Romantic relationships are a serious business, and Commanders are in it for the long haul.
This sense of personal responsibility means that Commanders put a lot of energy into their relationships, and they show their creativity by always having something new on the agenda to keep things interesting, especially in the dating phase. At the same time though, Commander personalities keep their eyes on the long term, and if they determine that a relationship is heading towards a dead end, they will cut their losses and move on in what will seem to their partner an abrupt end to the attention they had been receiving.
This occasional ruthlessness with personal relationships is Commanders’ primary weakness, and if they aren’t careful they can develop quite the reputation. Sensing others’ feelings and emotions will never be a comfortable skill for Commanders, but it is critical that they work consciously to develop it, both for their partners’ sake and for their own healthy emotional expression. If they don’t, they risk dominating and overruling their partners, and this insensitivity can easily break a relationship, especially early on.
But as all goes well in the dating phase and a future is deemed viable, people with the Commander personality type continue to impress with their creativity and energy. Their authentic confidence makes Commanders’ sex life dynamic to say the least, and they often push to explore new ways to express their affection with imaginative enthusiasm. Yet Commanders tend to have these innovations planned in advance, with some structure and predictability to their sex lives, leaving the true spontaneity to those less organized personality types.
Commanders are extremely growth-oriented, and will seize any opportunity to improve themselves, listening to and acting on criticisms, so long as they are logical ones, and always striving to improve their knowledge. At the same time, Commanders expect this of their partners, and it is surprising to them that others don’t always share this attitude. Still more surprising to Commander personalities is others’ active efforts to avoid these tense situations.
While Commanders may view criticism as the most efficient route (and they’re often right), they should bear in mind that their partners may be more interested in emotional support and growth, an area of self-improvement that Commanders themselves too often avoid. As with most things, balance is key, and Commanders should strive to meet their partners half-way, whatever their needs, be it through honest criticisms or steady emotional support and praise.
Commanders’ best matches are with other Intuitive (N) types, with one or two opposing traits to create more balance in the relationship. Mature Commanders are able to recognize and adapt to the needs of their partners, and know that even the most rational individuals have emotional needs that must be met. Fortunately the same logic that dismisses emotions is also able to recognize that a conciliatory attitude can be the best tool to get the job done. With their strong senses of responsibility and dedication, people with the Commander personality type are sure to make this effort, resulting in long-lasting, satisfying relationships.
FRIENDSHIPS
(ATM Betty, Kevin, Jughead, Archie, Reggie, and Cheryl)
As in most aspects of their lives, in friendship Commanders seek personal growth and inspiration, and they often have a plan for how to accomplish it. Friendships of circumstance, built on things like shared routines, are not Commanders’ preferred method – rather, they pursue their friends, seek out individuals who share their passion for deep, meaningful discussions, and who enjoy learning and development as much as they do. It is not always easy to be Commanders’ friends – they demand a lot from these relationships – but they pay a great deal of attention to their friendships, and it is unlikely that it will ever feel stagnant.
People with the Commander personality type are very smart and highly critical, and they won’t back down if they are put on the defensive – in fact, there’s no better way to earn their respect. It’s not easy to stand up to a personality as big and blustery as Commanders’, and they too often find that others crumple under the force they apply when they really start to enjoy themselves.
Only the most hardened rationalists are able to hold their ground against strongly expressed Commander personalities, who neither need emotional support, nor understand others’ need for it. This lack of sensitivity is Commanders’ chiefest weakness. Either a point is supported by logic and reason, or it is erroneous.
More enlightened Commanders recognize that if ever there was an area where they could learn from others and improve themselves, it is in the realm of emotional sensitivity – to dismiss any aspect of personal growth borders on hypocrisy.
Still, the bulk of Commanders’ friends will likely fall into the Analyst category, as all of these types share the same passion for logical, far-reaching ideas and critical debate. Anyone who can match Commanders’ ability to brainstorm and theorize will find an honest and dedicated friend. Anyone who can’t or won’t, as with many more down-to-earth types who often question the point of such discussions, will find themselves ignored – perhaps a situation that is best for everyone.
CONCLUSION
Armed with a powerful intellect and strategic thinking, Commanders can overcome or outmaneuver obstacles that seem unbeatable to most. At the same time, their many quirks, such as often unconstrained rationalism, lead to many misunderstandings.

Havok Publishing Hits Realm Makers 2019!
Tumblr media
I'm in shock. Or maybe it's awe. I'm humbled, for sure. And tired, too. Definitely tired. But all the other things are overpowering the sleep deprivation, like they usually do post-conference. But this year it's different. I didn't come home with a head full of mush and a bag full of notes. No, this was not a "learning" year like those in the past. Not in the strictest sense, anyway. Though, I certainly am still processing all of the unexpected happenings and possibilities. But to understand what I'm talking about, you first need to understand what I've been up to.
The last few months, I've been talking about how I've been so busy, and stressed, and overwhelmed, and blah, blah, blah. Some of it had to do with my day job as a physical therapist, but most of it revolved around my writing and editing career, the majority of it being work for my company, Havok Publishing.
Yes, I have a publishing company. But it's not "mine," exactly. Not completely, anyway. Almost a year ago, I took the reigns from its previous owner (Ben Wolf) with one stipulation: I'd have gobs and gobs of friends helping me run things. And after splitting the managerial strain with two spectacular women (I run the editorial department while a kraken runs the marketing and tech departments and a jackalope runs the operations department… that probably makes more sense to them than it does you…), I "hired" on almost twenty more volunteers to fill out the ranks. And since then, we've been busting our tails to create something that's so much bigger than any one of us.
Tumblr media
But you may be asking why in the world twenty-something people would volunteer for anything so involved as a publishing company. Well, it's because of the spirit of said company. And I was reminded of that in a big way this past weekend.
The Realm Makers writing conference is the summer highlight for a very specific group of about 300 people. You see, we're all Christians, writers, and… kind of weird. That is, we're geeks and nerds. We collect Marvel comics, write dragon stories, and wear ridiculous costumes. And we never feel more at home than when we're among our own people.
Becky Minor and a faithful few created this conference several years ago, and I've been a part of it since the beginning. Which means I've formed some deep friendships with some amazing people, most of whom I don't see in person anywhere other than this conference. And over the years, I've had the joy of watching them grow from scared, flightless writers to bold, soaring authors. So many of them have forged their own path into the wild world, and many more have joined the ranks as wide-eyed newbies. And we all continue to have the same spirit of inclusiveness and excitement for the craft and industry of fiction stories, but unfortunately, we often also share the pain of rejection in said industry. And that's exactly where Havok Publishing comes in.
Tumblr media
You see, there are a lot of readers out there. And there are also plenty of writers. But sometimes, getting good stories from writers to readers can be tricky. Polishing stories takes time. As does packaging them and delivering them into the right hands. And time is money, so many writers simply don't have the resources to get the job done, which is exactly why publishers exist. But publishers need to make money, too, which means they're often only willing to offer publishing contracts to the biggest and most well-established names in the industry. And only to the most exciting and well-packaged novels. And all of this leaves a very big hole in the process: providing new writers with an opportunity to improve their craft and put their polished stories in front of readers (other than their grandmas). And when I almost let Havok die last year, that was the only reason I didn't. We truly were a company that provided the bridge for those new writers. And we were one of the only ones in our corner of the industry doing it.
Since then, we've grown at a staggering rate. We've flipped our production and delivery model on end. We've turbo-charged our marketing. And we've been met by hordes of supporters that continue to push us forward toward great things. But, as I said, we're all volunteers. So twenty-something hours per week of pouring in without getting much back except "Good Job" stickers can take its toll. So when we were starting to feel beat down, I encouraged us all to wait until that always-magical Realm Makers weekend before losing heart. And, if I must say, I was right.
The weeks leading up to the conference were a blur. We were busy curating the best stories we'd acquired over the past six months into our first anthology, and unless you've ever published your own book (correctly), I can't possibly tell you how involved the process in. But just know that we barely made it in time. We didn't do everything right, but the final product looked amazing, and seventy-two copies of it came with us for sale in the conference bookstore.
And less than twenty-four hours after the conference began, we sold out.
Tumblr media
Yes, all seventy-two books that we ambitiously printed, loaded up, and put on display among so many other amazing novels, anthologies, comics, and crafts completely sold out in less than a day. And I was completely floored. And through the rest of the conference, other writers and fans continued to ask how they could purchase our anthology. They bought t-shirts and went online and bought the anthology there (which you can do by clicking on this link to amazon.com). And it took me a while to figure out how in the world that could have happened.
But slowly, it dawned on me: it was the spirit of Havok. We foster and nurture eager young writers. We build them up. We guide them. We give them hope. And we set them up for success in what is oftentimes their first real publication. And they, in turn, are the ultimate rockstars and advocates for what we're doing. Probably half of those seventy-two anthology copies were bought by authors who were published in it (for gifts for their friends and family), and the other half were snatched up by Realmies (the affectionate name for the Realm Makers tribe/attendees) who felt the palpable excitement generated by those of us involved in the magic.
I think there were eighteen of the Havok Hive (the name for Havok's collective volunteer staff… you will be assimilated) in attendance at this year's Realm Makers. And as a small token, Cerberus (the name for the aforementioned three heads of Havok, myself being one of them. Yes, I know. We have a lot of strange titles. Didn't I warn you that we're weird?) gifted them with bright orange Havok lanyards. And as the Hive busied itself about the conference, helping here and there where needed, it unwittingly lightened the tensions weighing on those young writers whom we love so much. As one woman told me on the last night of the conference, "Every time I see an orange lanyard, I know the person wearing it will be encouraging. Like I can actually do this thing."

And that's when I knew we'd won. We'd accomplished, for the moment, what we set out to do. We'd given back to a conference and a culture that had already made such a difference in the lives of so many. We'd played our small but essential part in the process. And we will continue to do so. We're acquiring hundreds of stories each year. We're putting the best of those stories in beautiful anthologies alongside some of the industry’s biggest names. We're putting our energy and resources directly back into our authors and projects that will benefit them. And we're doing it all because we love it. And we love them. And we couldn't do any of it without that constant reminder. So, thank you, everyone, who has supported Havok Publishing along the way. You're helping us make a difference in the lives of so many creatives. And, in turn, you're helping their stories make a change in this world.
We're doing good work here at Havok, and it takes a village… or in this case, a Hive… or a Horde. I don't know. Maybe we do need to reconsider how many strange labels we're putting on everything. But you get my drift. Together, we’re weird. We’re writers. And we’re wonderful. Write on!

Absolution | Chapter Two
Tumblr media
Back at it again with part two! This time, there’s more interaction with Youngjae and the beginnings of that burn.
Pairing: Youngjae x Reader
Genre: Drama, College!AU
Words: 2.5k
Chapters: [1] [2] [3] [4]
You had writer’s block, which was just about the worst thing that could happen to you when you had less than twenty-four hours before your faculty advisor expected to see a completed draft of your term paper. You tried your damnedest to get anything decent written, but every time you’d finish penning a line, the words seemed to glare back at you, jarring and insufficient.
Not for the first time, you cursed yourself for choosing creative writing. In hindsight, you couldn’t fathom how you thought a program that forced you to write creatively on a deadline would be even the slightest bit good for your mental and emotional health, but here you were.
Suffering.
And veering quickly for the melodramatic. Obviously, sitting around and agonizing in your cramped apartment wasn’t going to do you any good. Maybe a change of scenery would help kickstart your creativity, you mused. Or, if it didn’t, at least you could continue to suffer in the relative comfort of one of the library’s study rooms.
You stood and stretched your arms over your head, groaning when you felt your back give a satisfying crack. It didn’t take long for you to gather your things together and make your way to the library.
It was early evening, and with a few weeks still left in the semester, there weren’t any students rushing around in the panic of midterms or finals. The campus was still and silent, and the library was no different. Only one student lingered in the lobby, and they were utterly oblivious to you, their face buried in a sociology textbook and their headphones blasting music that you could faintly hear halfway across the room. The only other person around was Youngjae, working the front desk, and you felt your shoulders sag in relief at the sight of his familiar face.
And by the way he broke into a bright grin when he caught sight of you, you figured the feeling was mutual.
“What brings you here at this hour?” he asked when you made your way to the desk. His voice was quiet out of habit; you both knew you could speak louder without disturbing the only other library denizen, but you were perfectly content keeping your voice soft, too.
“Writer’s block,” you said simply. Youngjae’s face twisted into a look of sympathy.
The campus library had attracted all sorts of student employees, you’d found. Erika was a third-year psychology and social behavior major, and you were halfway convinced that she was the person who kickstarted the trend of perfectly color-coordinated and organized notes. She was brilliant and tenacious and orderly almost to a fault. If anyone could take over the world, it would be her.
Jiseob was an art history major. He was remarkably down to earth, and he often joked that he would likely work in a diner once he finished his degree. But you knew that he was hip-deep in faculty-led research projects. For all that he wrinkled his nose when he talked about grad school, you could think of no one else who could handle academia with such aplomb.
Akram was perhaps the chattiest computer science major you’d ever met. He was the only STEM major among your little pack of coworkers, but he took it in stride, easily keeping pace with conversations about everything from Romantic-era art to slam poetry. Jiseob liked to joke that Akram was a real Renaissance man, and Akram didn’t even try to hide the way he preened under the compliment.
Youngjae was the only one who was also in your creative writing program. He was a year ahead of you and could empathize with your struggles more than anyone else you knew, which you supposed was part of the reason you were so relieved to see him. If you trusted anyone’s advice at this junction, it would be his.
“What are you working on?” he asked, leaning his elbows against the counter.
You sighed and fished out your laptop, opening it up right there to show him.
“For my term paper, I wanted to write a fictional narrative that brings in elements of confessional poetry. I wanted to wrestle with ideas of life and death from the perspective of a widowed woman in her 50s, but I’m having a hard time making things feel authentic. I guess that’s what happens when you try to write about life experiences that aren’t your own,” you said, shrugging.
Youngjae’s eyebrows shot up to his hairline. “That’s pretty ambitious,” he said, but it sounded more like affirmation than admonishment. “But if anyone can pull it off, it’s you.”
The doubt must have shown on your face because he was quick to press on. “I mean, sure, you’re trying to write a confessional style from a perspective that you haven’t really experienced, but the key is that you’re writing about a human experience. Everyone wrestles with mortality in some way or another, right? You just have to try to find a way to convey your own feelings through the voice of a fictional character.”
“You make it sound so easy,” you said, a bit drily.
Youngjae rewarded you with a fleeting half-smile that made him go from sweet to rakish for just a moment before he returned to his usual neutrally sincere expression.
“It is,” he insisted. “Or, at least it can be if you know how to do it right. I can find some references for you, if you’d like.”
Now more than ever were you grateful you’d made the journey to the library. “Please.”
Youngjae busied himself with the computer for a moment, typing in some author name or other, and it took just a moment for him to turn back to you.
“Ah, we have some Sylvia Plath checked back in right now. Why don’t we check her out?”
You shrugged. “I’m game. What section is she in?”
“I’ll just show you,” Youngjae said, already moving out from behind the counter before you could respond.
“You realize I work here, too, right?” you noted as Youngjae began leading you into the shelves. “Like, I know where the sections are and I don’t even need directions or anything.”
Youngjae didn’t even look back at you, just shrugged. “I know. But it’s boring in here, and now I finally get to do something.”
Well, you couldn’t begrudge him that, you supposed. Besides, it wasn’t like he was bad company in the slightest, even if you had to trot a bit to keep up with his quick strides.
It took no time at all for Youngjae to pluck a book from one of the shelves and hand it to you. It was a slim anthology of poetry by Sylvia Plath, and you began flipping through the pages idly as Youngjae spoke.
“Confessional poetry became kind of popular among American authors around the 1950s and ‘60s. Plath was just one of several who became well-known for this style. She’s not exactly a 50-something-year-old widow, but she definitely had her own dealings with life and mortality. I thought maybe you could draw some inspiration from her.”
You dragged your fingertips across the paper, tracing the letters. “You know a lot about this, even for a librarian,” you said quietly, not tearing your eyes from the page. In the corner of your eye, you saw him shrug.
“Everyone has their stylistic preference. This one happens to be mine.”
You looked up at him in clear surprise, and he ducked his head sheepishly.
“I know, that one always tends to surprise people.”
You shook your head. “No- I mean, yeah, but.” You stopped and licked your lips, trying again. “I just don’t think we’ve ever talked about our inspiration and preferences before. Somehow.”
As a matter of fact, it occurred to you that you didn’t know much about Youngjae at all beyond your friendly conversations at work. You knew him well enough to consider him a friend, but you didn’t know much about him.
As if reading your mind, Youngjae said, “I tend not to talk too much about myself, to be honest. It’s a bit ironic, considering that I’m fascinated with the idea of people laying their emotions bare. There’s just something about the vulnerability of putting yourself in words like this, you know?” His gaze fell to the slightly yellowed pages of the book. “And not only are you putting yourself out there, but it’s permanent. The written word can outlast lives by centuries. It’s powerful.”
His eyes flashed back up to yours and it was your turn to look down at the book.
“I hadn’t thought of it like that,” you admitted. Sure, you were interested enough in confessionals, or else you wouldn’t have chosen that stylistic approach. But for you, it was more about venturing into unfamiliar territory. You were more focused on stretching yourself as a writer rather than the implications of that style.
“Not a lot of people do,” Youngjae said with an easy shrug. “I probably think about it too much. I just think I’m hoping that I can learn how to be more honest, myself.”
You felt your eyebrows creep up your forehead. In the months that you’d worked with Youngjae, you’d never seen him as anything less than kind, open, and sensitive.
“Aren’t you honest now?”
That wry smile came back, and Youngjae shook his head. “Not as much as I should be. Now more so than ever, I guess.”
You let that statement hang in the air as you mulled it over. It was surprising to hear him say that, but you supposed it was actually perfectly relatable.
The heavy silence was broken when Youngjae huffed a quiet laugh.
“This is all pretty topical, isn’t it?” he said, eyes crinkling. “I mean, with the whole Ars thing, it seems like confession is the hot topic this semester.”
You chuckled and shook your head. “I guess so,” you said. “Though I don’t know how many of those confessions are quite as deep as this,” you said, snapping the book shut for emphasis.
Youngjae just shrugged. “Maybe. But that’s just human nature, isn’t it? Everyone has different needs, different concerns. Some people may make a joke of it and post about how hot their TA is, and others may share trauma they’ve carried with them for years. Either way, don’t you think it’s important for people to be able to share parts of themselves like that? It’s hard to live with secrets all the time.”
You hummed in thought. “What about Ars?”
Youngjae blinked in surprise. “What about Ars?” he echoed.
“Well, people are releasing a part of themselves when they submit the confessions, right? But then Ars is taking those confessions in, and all Ars does is post them around campus. Is that release for them? Or are they left living with other people’s secrets on top of their own?”
Youngjae frowned. “Maybe they’re into that sort of thing. It’s not anonymous to them, right? Maybe they’re just looking for leverage over people. Maybe they’ll just turn things around on those confessors.”
You were taken aback. You hadn’t expected Youngjae to suddenly speak so negatively of Ars after all that talk of confession, and frankly, it wasn’t like Youngjae to play devil’s advocate.
A frown tugged at your lips and you shook your head thoughtfully. “I don’t think that’s the case at all,” you said. Youngjae seemed a bit surprised at your conviction. If you were honest, you were surprised, too.
For the second time that evening, silence hung between you, this one heavier than the last. You couldn’t quite describe the look on Youngjae’s face as he gazed at you.
Just as his lips parted to speak, you heard a muted thump and a “Hello?”
Both of you turned to see the sociology kid from earlier staring back at you from the front desk. The textbook was sitting on the counter, and he had a chagrined look on his face as he glanced back and forth between you and Youngjae.
“I’m finished with this book,” he called hesitantly.
Just like that, all tension was dispelled, leaving you with a gusty sigh.
“I should, uh, take care of that,” Youngjae murmured. You nodded fervently.
“Yeah. Yeah, go do that. I’ll just,” you held up the book, “go work for a bit.”
After some awkward shuffling, you managed to make your way to a study desk tucked away in the corner of the room. You sat down heavily, your head buzzing with thoughts of your conversation.
You mused about confessionals, the act of confession, and what that meant for you— and for your paper, too. Your fingers drummed against the table as you deliberated, but it wasn’t a difficult decision, and you were soon unlocking your phone and opening instagram.
What better way to get in the mood for writing a confessional than to start by confessing?
In no time at all, you opened a new message to Ars and typed out your confession, releasing another heavy sigh when you pressed send. You spared a moment for you to sit back and scrub a hand over your face, and then you were shaking off your thoughts and opening your laptop to get to work.
You immersed yourself in your writing, and when you finally sat back, the hour was late and the campus beyond the library window was pitch black. Your muscles were stiff and tired when you rose from your seat and neatly packed away your belongings.
You took a quick detour to return the Plath anthology to its rightful home before making your way back towards the front desk. You had to stifle a pang of disappointment when you realized that Youngjae was gone, replaced by a sleepy-eyed Jiseob. He waved lazily at you, and you returned it before pulling your jacket tighter around you and heading out into the night, your shoulders weighed down by your heavy thoughts.
When you awoke the next morning, you were relieved to find that the strange musing mood had eased. Your mind was surprisingly clear as you went through the motions of your morning routine, as you gave your term paper a final proofread, as you printed it out and placed it delicately in a portfolio folder. Nerves simmered low in your stomach, making it flutter unpleasantly, but it was easy to ignore as you walked across campus towards your faculty advisor’s office.
What wasn’t as easy to ignore were the stark white letters sitting at eye level on a pillar right outside of the humanities building’s side entrance.
“I don’t think I know how to stop being critical of myself and my work.”
The stenciled lettering was pristine, protected from the seasonal rains by its position under the building’s awning. You stood there for some time, just staring at your confession, shocked that it would manifest so shortly after you’d sent it in. Yet your shock was mostly quelled by a wave of relief. In the light of day, the swell of frustration and helplessness that had compelled you to pen these words seemed somehow manageable.
You felt something that felt a lot like determination settle inside of you. You gripped the cardstock of your portfolio tighter and turned on your heel, ready to stand by your completed work.
