❦Summary: You wake up with a pounding headache and no clue where you are. It’s only after your cries for help your best friend appears. Except… it seems like he’s the reason for all of this.

You woke up groggy, the first time you noticed was a severe ache in the back of your skull. What the hell happened? You opened your eyes to find you were not at home, nor in a hospital, you were in a cold concrete room. It had to be the old lab, a basement you hadn’t found yet. Well, that is unspeakably unsettling, you thought to yourself as your heart picked up its pace.

You winced as you tried to sit up, Your whole body was a dull throb, your arms stiff from their position. It took mere moments before you felt the cool touch of metal against your wrists, you tried to move away, but the sounds of chains clinking together gave away that they were keeping you on the floor. Panic slowly begun settling in the pits of your stomach, a looming sense of dread washing over you.

You were just going to work, walking out of base camp, and then nothing. Nothing at all. Trying to remember made your head pound, you didn't know what day it was, the fucking time, or if you were even in the same village. “Hello?”

Your voice echoed against the walls, the only response being the drip drop of water leaking through the walls, you were underground. That much you could tell. As your eyes adjusted to the dim light you noticed another presence, a figure standing at the door with their arms crossed.

“Boo.”

Your body jolted upwards, the chains pulling you back. You felt your blood go cold. They were tall, so tall you could hardly see all of them. You felt like the breath had been knocked out of your lungs, your mouth was dry and you could only stutter as he stepped forward. “No, no, no, no,” you mumbled to yourself, as he crouched down in front of you.

“Don’t fucking touch me! Somebody help! Help,” you screamed at the top of your lungs, the man didn't seem perturbed at all by your cries. “My Ewya, you’re loud,” he reached up, pulling the sloppily fashioned skull mask from his face. “Neteyam?!” You were baffled. Why was Neteyam here? This wasn’t some sick joke was it?

“Thank god you’re awake,” he sighed, his hand moving to push your hair out of your face. His fingers brushed against the gash on your forehead, causing you to wince. “I thought I hit your pretty little head too hard and put you in a coma.” His fingers trailed down the side of your face, his thumb swiping against your bottom lip, and you couldn't help but recoil. There was something different about him, he wasn't the same Neteyam that was so sweet to you.

“Neteyam what the fuck are you-” you were cut off by his voice, a crazed smile spreading across his face. “Surprise!” He yelled, throwing his hands up, he seemed ecstatic, and you had never felt more terrified. “I really wanted to do this differently, honestly, but it was so hard to get you alone.”

You could only stare, not wanting to say a word, the silence making your throat tighten. Neteyam looked down, his fingers tapping on his knees. You had never seen him like this before, his normal cheery and kind nature completely gone.“I-if Kyle finds out-”

Neteyam’s change in expression cut you off quickly, his eyes changing into something dark, his brow furrowing as his lip curled into a snarl. You swallowed thickly, not sure how to handle him, or the situation. “And what the fuck will a human named Kyle do to me? For Ewya’s sake I do not understand your obsession with this creature. He is weak, frail, short, pale skinned and so stupid.”

For just a moment you had a mere second to think and you were insulted on Kyle’s behalf. Yes, he wasn’t as tall as Neteyam or buff or particularly attractive but he was human. Neteyam huffed, his hand reaching up to pull your face towards him.

You were pulled back into reality as his fingers touched you, you were so pathetically helpless, chained to the ground, and at his mercy. His thumb rubbed along your cheek, and his eyes narrowed on yours. “It’s doesn’t matter now, yawne. I took care of him.”

Your blood ran cold, a sudden fear that he was speaking the truth, It made you want to vomit, a horrible pit forming in your stomach. But the way he said it, like he was proud of his actions, the look in his eyes as he stared down at you, it all made your heart drop. “You’re insane!”

“Only for you,” his smile reached both ears, a look that made the hair on the back of your neck stand on end. Your heart beat wildly in your chest, and your eyes started to water, your brain running a million miles a minute trying to come up with a solution, but nothing came. Neteyam leaned down, placing a kiss against your forehead.

It was… Oddly comforting, unnervingly soft. The way his lips felt against your skin was a stark contrast to his behavior, it was almost loving. “you’re so pretty when you cry, yawne,” his breath was hot on your skin, his voice soft, and it made your skin crawl.

“Fuck you, Neteyam.” You tried to turn away, but his grip tightened on your jaw, keeping you firmly in place, the chains digging into your wrists. You didn't want to look at him, and you certainly didn't want him looking at you. “You’ve read my mind, pretty.” You tried to squirm, and pull away, the chains biting into your skin and cutting into the delicate flesh. Your hands were numb from being locked in place, the muscles tensing and relaxing with the blood circulation.

“I really wish we could have done this in a nicer way… but you are so hardheaded. I was so nice, I did everything in the world to impress you... and not once did you notice me.” Neteyam unsheathed a blade you didn’t realize he was carrying, the metal glistening in the dim light. you and riki have been playing video games on your wood floor for like 2 hours. both brain dead and numb. (jk) but you guys have been watching zombies getting slashed for like so long you're starting to get bored because of how good your skills are. (lol)

"you're right. you're waaayy too good for me." he remarks back.

you asked your brother heeseung for clothes for niki, they're around the same height so you're not surprised they fit. he looks incredibly cute though.

he's wearing a navy blue hoodie with gray flannel pants. the sweater says "junction,"' you have no idea what that means but, it's cute. even cuter that you're matching, you have a gray crewneck with navy blue flannel pants.

earlier, you and riki were in the kitchen talking to your mom as she came downstairs for a glass of water. it was pretty late so she didn't stay long.

your family admires riki and trusts you two strongly. but this makes you love him even more, he just makes it so easy to love him.

"what?" he looks at you zoned out.

"nothing, just thinking." you add.

"thinking about your riki?" he holds his face like the "🤗," emoji.

"sure." you reassured jokingly.

it's currently 2 something am and you guys are still somewhat awake. i mean, on facetime you guys call until you fall asleep (which is like at 4:00 am)

"do you wanna get ready for bed?" he asks while scooting closer to you.

"yes that's a good idea." you scoot to fill the space between you guys.

you guys are like stuck in time. staring in each others eyes waiting for someone to break the silence between you two. all you could do was blush and smile while waiting for him to speak first.

"you're doing that thing again!" he whines.

"what thing????"

"when you like look at me?!! when you do that it makes my ears hot, it makes my face as red as a tomato, and it makes me love you more, and then it make me want to just like- i don't know." he states strongly.

"i'm not even aware of all that!!" you admit.

you genuinely didn't even know he felt that way. you thought it was just an inside joke that you two do.

"well-" he becomes flustered because he just told you everything he felt since you ever met. "... well just. just don't stop doing it." he coldly admits trying to avoid your face as he turns the game back on and scoots back to him seat.

"awh riki. it's okay come here." you laugh and wrap your arms around his waist and kiss his cheek.

"you're so cute."

this is completely new to both of you, you never really kissed more than you did today. i guess you love him a little more today.

"okay let's get ready for bed. turn the thingy off you dumb dumb."

"okay!!" he agrees.

riki's brushing his teeth while you're setting up the bed.

you kind of can't help but feel giddy because the boy that you love is staying over your house! it feels like when you were crushing on him all over again.

you feel like you're being immature but you genuinely can't wait to wake up to his face. GOSH Y/N WHY ARE YOU SUCH A SIMP?????????

you palm your head and smile again because you just can't help but think, "riki's sleeping over!!"

you feel your cheeks heating up again so you immediately cut the bs and start making the bed again.

you put your favorite pillow on your side and put one of your other pillows on his side. one plushy for you and one for him. you have a green dinosaur and he has the matching blue one.

"woah babe this looks nice!" he looks at the bed lowkey blushing because why are you such a good girlfriend??

he immediately notices that you have matching dino plushies which makes him fall even harder.

"i kinda like the green one." he adds.

"but- no that's mine." you nod your head in denial.

"okay, okay i won't take it."

riki just admires everything, the bed, the set up, you, your matching pjs, matching plushies, he also noticed that next to your bed you have a polaroid of you and him hugging that sunoo took.

you're already laying in bed, scrolling through tiktok on your phone.

you already freshened up so you two can relax now.

"y/n this is so- idk cute?" he says as he gets into bed.

"thank you, i tried to make it look nice." you open your arms so he would hopefully come closer.

andddd he did.

"can i tell you something?" he wonders.

"yeah sure, go for it."

"today i feel like we got closer. i don't know but, i feel like we just bonded a lot more today. is that just me?" he kind of blurts quietly but loud enough so you would hear.

"no i agree, i feel like i know you better even though i know everything about you." you admit.

honestly you know what he's trying to say, because you feel it too. today you were overly touchy and overly being "lovey," with each other more than you usual are. but knowing this makes so happy, he's comfortable.

"right? but anyways. me 5 weeks ago would be freaking out." niki jokes.

"yeah you were such a wimpy kid, i had to ask you out!" you chuckled while moving your body in closer.

"what??? the fuck?? i was not wimpy. i was just shy. you know you just fell in love with my awesome physique and looks right?" he tries to change your mind.

"well no. but sure!" you grin. "i thought you were sweet, cute, and funny but i didn't crush on you!"

"because you had a crush on my friend sunghoon, yeah yeah." he groans.

"OKAY WELL. IT'S OVER. and i like his friend more now." you stroke his hair.

"who?! i would love to meet him." niki teases you as per usual. makes you want to punch him but whatever!!

"anyways we should really sleep it's almost 3!"

"okay yes we shall. mrs. riki simp." he giggles.

"oh fuck you." you pretend punch his arm.

"okay goodnight i love you..!!" he moves closer and mumbles against your face.

"i love you too riki."

this was going to be a long night but you were not complaining, you felt the love you have for him a lot today.

I see Chris having three kids, two boys, one girl. He’d be the type of dad to push his boys so hard, always expecting the best of the best from them. His daughter as well, but not as harsh. I see them all pretty close in age, maybe 1-2 years apart for each kid.

He’d have his boys do all sorts of sports and activities. Football, baseball, basketball, tennis, track, cross country, you name it, they do it. Chris would also help them practice, especially in football and baseball. His daughter would probably do ballet, tennis, and be in the Girl Scouts with Cecilia, and maybe do drama with Violet as well.

Also, it’s very much cannon that Chris spoils his daughter 10X more than his boys. His little girl wants to go on a Sephora shopping trip? Take his card and go crazy. His boys want to go out with their friends? Here’s $25 for the both of you.

Chris is also such a loving husband. He’d buy you gifts “Just because”. Or if you mention a new designer purse online, it would mysteriously show up on the dining table to greet you when you woke up…With a handwritten note of course. You were very much a spoiled wife, but he didn’t care, you gave him three beautiful kids for god sakes, of course he’d buy you whatever you want.

If there was ever a time any of your boys were disrespectful to you while he was gone, (Because they know better than to mess with their mother while dad’s around.) He’d give them the “You don’t disrespect MY wife.” Talk. Ugh, 😣 give me a chance Chris…☹️

Okay so I've had the idea that Chris met someone with a child from a previous relationship (Your first born son, Let's name him Oliver and call him Ollie for short! He's like 2 years older than Violet. He struggles a bit in school so they're in the same grade, along with his younger brother, after he was held back in 5th and 8th grade but that's okay! Everyone struggles!)

Ollie was like 2 when they first met. Your ex-husband was a HORRIBLE MAN, absolutely terrible to you and the only good thing he ever did was bless you with Ollie. That's it.

Chris and his wife met through work (let's be honest here, how tf else would he meet a woman? Chris is very much a workaholic.) His wife is basically the lead of the BSAA's dispatch response team (Basically what Hunnigan does at the FOS but the BSAA's version) and she's good at her job. Very strong willed and mouthy as a mf. Isn't scared to go back at anyone over the radio and definitely got into it with Chris once or twice before they officially met.

(catch me posting what happened when they met in person the first chance someone asks)

Anyway!!

After y'all start dating it doesn't take long before you introduce Chris to your son and Ollie is just OBSESSED with Chris. Like you've never seen this kid so excited to see another human being until Chris shows up. You two only started dating for a few months and Ollie already calls Chris dad. You try correcting him scared AF that Chris is gonna get freaked out but he's actually super chill with it. He's use to taking care of people, he basically raised Claire after their parents died but this little guy is much younger and a lot more fun and excitable than Claire was.

A few months into the relationship you find out you're pregnant. Chris is excited but also freaking out with how often he's gone. But everything works out and you end up having your second son, Christopher Jr but CJ for short.

You and Chris end up getting married not long after your first anniversary after the babies born. Not making a big deal out of anything just getting papers signed and having a little get together celebrating everything.

2 years go by, Ollie's in Kindergarten and CJ does daycare. You start getting horribly ill out of nowhere. So you go get checked out and oh God you're pregnant again...

(This would be the point in time where Leon starts bugging for another baby with his wife)

9 months of Chris being a nervous wreck fly by and the world meets your daughter, Talulla, Lulu for short.

Chris would be adamant on sticking the kids in after school activities once they're old enough. His boys would do sports and his baby girl in softball and girl scouts so she can hangout with her pseudo cousins. (Her being 2 years younger than Violet and 2 years older than Cecilia) Until her older cousin quits cause girl scouts are for babies (🙄)

Chris and his wife would be UBER COMPETITIVE when it came to cookie selling season. It's all out war between the Redfield's and Kennedy's every year.

I feel like Ollie would also really be musically gifted and play piano for the school choir and musicals. Lulu would Ed up wanting to do drama but be a stage hand or in the costume department. She's actually very shy.

CJ is basically Chris when he was a kid. Always doing stupid shit... Getting in trouble over the dumbest of things but looking out for others. (Definitely beat up that kid who was picking on Violet when they were 7.)

You're getting calls from the school at least once a month because CJ got in trouble for either getting into an argument with a teacher over rules or another kid tried something stupid.
