mcu releasing cacw like: “sorry mackie ur character who is actually a crucial part of the cap storyline historically can’t get any significant screentime in cap 3 yeah we know it’s the final movie sorry we had to have an endless fucking montage of maria stark trauma porn bc it actually wasn’t already clear tony was emotionally unstable and had mommy and daddy issues followed by the wandavision cooking special for,,,,,, reasons,,,,,,,,,,,, and oh yeah did we forget to mention this is actually another avengers movie and the first spiderman??? best we can do is a scene where sam’s mean to bucky lol …… what about steve rogers??? wait whose that uhhhh is he even in this script?”
(it’s bc they didn’t care about developing sam at all until he was their “only” option for cap and could safely not be shipped with steve if they ever actually interacted wait what huh who said that)

oh gods it is way too early in the morning for me to be awake (on a saturday no less) but i just downloaded another plunny from The Aether TM and it seems Mines relevant enough that yall might enjoy
for Reasons everyone in Dooku's familie dies when he's still a teen (Jenza maybe only in a coma or smt) and he HAS to take over (also for Reasons)
only. he has no clue.
the only thing he DOES know is that a ruler needs lackeys. loyal officers. something like that (sifo had him watch a period drama the week before, it left an impression)
so he recruits the only people he can think of as his definitely-not-jedi-padawan certainly-loyal-to-a-fault goons: Sifo-Dyas, Jocasta Nu, Lorian Nod and Arath Tarrex (well, Arath just kinda inserted himself there but Dooku can see the merits of having someone who's more of an asshole than him close by. Makes him look bettter, and that's what this all is about, no?)
cue a LOT of shenanigans where five jedi-raised teens suddenly take over a planet's government and proceed to do politics with, like, medium success
at most
but a lot of violence (mostly on Arath's part, he kinda just attracts explosions) to make up for it
oh but they found the dragon in the basement, so that's fun (the serennians are horrified)

𝐗𝐞𝐫𝐚  So yesterday I killed my first Raid bosses ever: Cairn and Xera. I absolutely fell in love with Xera's battle in terms of visuals. The scariest/hardest part for me during the battle was the gliding btw. Fell down 2-3 times. xD

Bad Batch Season 3
I was asleep for a good moment. Then I saw visions of Hunter and Wrecker being the ones to die at the end of the season while Omega, Crosshair and Echo are too survive.
another thing is that in another part of my bad batch dreams is that Tech, as CX-2 had Hunter in binds whole guiding him to the shuttle silently before holding a deep conversation with Hunter.
then, Wrecker would seize Tech aka CX-2 much to the latter’s displeasure while, an unusually alive Plo Koon watched!

Something I really wish the games explored more and I love when fans do it: The actual horror of mantling. Of drifting so close to another, intentionally or not, that you start to become them. That you start to lose yourself. That your self fades away and is replaced by something not you anymore even if it has your memories. Like possession but also like you possessing them and just... HECK it fucks as a concept. Absolutely horrifying 10/10 gimme another.

Omega would’ve jumped after Hunter if Echo hadn’t held her back and nobody can convince me otherwise.

I keep seeing so much on a potential fire-based “evil” clan in the Avatar franchise. Even more I’ve seen many people (Mostly on tiktok) just... make them red (Which.... i don’t think I need to fully explain why that would personally leave a bad taste in my mouth) So, instead I’ve come up with my own headcanon (Until we see more, and maybe I can let go of it a little lol... unless Cameron completely fucks up these potential fire-based Na’vi)
Basically my current headcanon goes as such. -These Na’vi are not “fire” Na’vi, they live on islands around many active volcanoes. These volcanoes are not like on Earth however. The main element they spew out molten is actually unobtainium. Unobtainium makes the lava a very bright (like electric-blue bright) blue. The Na’vi around the volcanoes are also akin to this shade of blue (just a bit more... natural looking lol.) -These Na’vi do not venerate and follow the teachings of the same form of Eywa. Because she is balance, Eywa represents destruction and war just as well as she represents life and love. These Na’vi follow the teachings of a much more ruthless Eywa. Not because they’re evil though, but because they see the pain and destruction humans have wrought as against nature itself. Lava burns anything in its path, but behind it springs new life. Humans destroy, but no life is able to come from their destruction. -Their tree of souls is a large cast of obsidian branching out. Inside this cast is still flowing magma, glowing brightly and hotly. To connect with their venerated aspect of Eywa, these Na’vi subject themselves to the fires around the tree to see their ancestors within the flames. -These Na’vi also do not follow the core tenants of Eywa. Using the lava as a way to forge blades and machines of war. Though they also use it and their creations as a way of intricate dances telling the stories of their ancestors and other Na’vi. -Like the Metkayina they have different biology. Larger ears to better combat the heat, shorter tails, and thicker skin. Their tails however possess long feathers that are fire resistant and iridescent (which they use during their intricate dances.) I don’t have a name for this clan, but I can imagine they are obviously seen as outcasted from other Na’vi clans for trade of anything. They’re not evil though, they want to keep their home safe just like other Na’vi. But they differ in how they want to keep that safety. The other clans are willing to go to war, but with humans, simple war won’t keep them away. They have to be destroyed, completely. And that’s where these Na’vi differ. No more trace of humans on Pandora, their mark will be burned away and peace can be achieved at last. And of course, isn’t that where problem would lie for Jake and his family with them? He, and by extension his children, are a mark on Pandora from humans, and to this clan? Something that must be dealt with and destroyed. (And of course, they’re not wrong, they’re not right. Just as peace is not the wrong or right option. With the humans, things are muddled. There is good and bad that come from humanity. Personally I would prefer to see the humans scientists go back to Earth and fix the planet with what they have learned from Eywa because Pandora is so thoroughly inspired by our planet in the movies. So of course that sort of avenue should be the one taken imo)

While i respect the idea that Ahsoka is not a perfectly written character that has many flaws in recent writing; due to my undying love for her character, I'd like to share some of my viewpoints.
Disclaimer: Yes, i am probably biased. And yes, there's a good chance I'm projecting here.
My main idea of Ahsoka as a character stems from her being a traumatised child soldier. During TCW, she was 14-16/17. To me, this has clearly left an impact on how she views herself and the Jedi.
She also had to experience, at the hands of her best friend, having essentially had her faith wrenched away from her by someone she held dearly (yeah this is also from my experience).
And because she spent her most formative years in war (and her entire adult life), she basically grew a dependency on it. Which informs her actions in SoM (Siege of Mandalore). Wherein she desperately fights to insert herself into this conflict that she has no part in, all to feel like herself again. A Jedi Commander. She even willingly uses Obi-Wan's own feelings and morality against him. All because she is a 17 year old who feels useless and thus purposeless.
Even in the Ahsoka novel, she can't shake her strategic thinking and military mindset, amplified more by her idea that she can't be a Jedi anymore. But her journey throughout the book leads her closer and closer to the Order. Even Bail and Kaeden call her out on it. Where Bail sees Ahsoka as a remnant of the Jedi way and calls her on it, and Ahsoka ends up fulfilling Kaeden's fantasy of what the Jedi is. And by Mandalorian, she's referred to as a Jedi both in and out of universe; called a Jedi by Bo and Din, referred to as one by the episode in which she returns, and by the trailer for her show.
All in all, i don't think Ahsoka was at all thinking rationally in TCW S7, or that she is against the Jedi. Her story as always been about returning to her roots, just on her own terms. And tbh, i really hope her show gives us flashbacks on what drew her back. Maybe it had something to do with Huyang, or the Jedi ship she recovered prior to the Rebels epilogue. Maybe it was seeing Ezra or Luke restore her confidence in the Order that Barriss had shaken all those years ago. It's clear in Rebels that Ahsoka still doesn't see herself as a Jedi, given her words to Ezra, so something or someone got through to her between then and Mando (and I'll bet my paycheck it was her nephew).
