Hello and welcome to “Stick Weaponry”. Where I find and you send sticks found in the wild to review.

You may ask yourself: “Why make posts where you rate sticks used as imaginative weapons?”

My answer is……

So anyway, first stick is a sword/enhanced wand. It has a strong and thick hilt/grip to it to hold as a sword. It also has small branches to rest your arm on and use as a more controlled close encounter sword.

With this mode you can also use it as a insane wand that’s illegal to use in most wand duals. Best fit for the underground wand arenas.

I give it a 8/10 for comfort and dual usage.

We also have a Staff

It’s almost my height and can hold on it’s own for a walk. However, it may not be strong enough for hikes or adventures with a party in tow. 7/10

The Worlds Finest Meet Kingdom Come Counterparts

The superheroes from Batman/Superman: World's Finest are about to meet their counterparts from the Kingdom Come series in the upcoming 5-part "Heir to the Kingdom" story arc. "Heir to the Kingdom" begins with "The Golden Calf" story in Batman/Superman: World's Finest #20 from writer Mark Waid and artists Dan Mora, Tamra Bonvillain, and Steve Wands.

According to DC Comics, the "Heir to the Kingdom" storyline "teams up The Dark Knight and The Man of Steel with a jaded Superman, a broken Batman, a war-hungry Wonder Woman, and the other reimagined super heroes of the 1996 groundbreaking series written by Waid, with art by Alex Ross. In addition, this new arc features the return of Superman’s protégé, Boy Thunder." (DC Comics) This arc will take place before the events of Kingdom Come and will show how some of the characters evolved.

Batman/Superman: World's Finest #20 goes on sale on October 17, 2023. The issue features a main cover by Dan Mora and variant covers by Bjorn Barends, David Nakayama, Chrissie Zullo, and Daniel Sampere.

This is such a good question! It’s one I had to actually sit down and think on for a while because I’ve never even considered it before. Let me see…

Astoria would choose the invisibility cloak for the same reason that the third brother did in the original story. She wouldn’t want to overpower death or trick them but would like to have the option to pass on when she is ready.

Caspian wouldn’t even hesitate before choosing the resurrection stone. He’d initially choose it so he could speak with his brother again but at the last second (like a few seconds before his brother appears) he’d run to get Oliver so he could talk to him instead. After all, he had his brother for over twenty years, but Oliver only had him for around four.

Solaine would spend a pretty long time deliberating before very hesitantly choosing the elder wand. The temptation of nearly unlimited power is too strong for them to ignore (ironic considering which side of the war they are on). Although, I do think that they would realize/remember why having an infinite power source like that is bad after using it for the first time and would end up locking it up/hiding it somewhere or destroying it so nobody else could use it.

Maeve would struggle between choosing the invisibility cloak and resurrection stone before eventually choosing the former - although not for the same reason that Astoria does. She wouldn’t keep it for herself but instead would give it to Jasper - even though deep down she knows he wouldn’t actually take/use it.

And now we've arrived at the hard part lol. I’ve spent a ridiculously long time thinking about which Deathly Hallow Jasper would choose and kept coming to the same conclusion - he wouldn’t want/take any of them. He wouldn’t want to bring someone back from the dead without knowing how it might affect the person or their loved ones. He doesn’t fear death (and generally doesn’t enjoy sneaking around) so he has no need for the invisibility cloak. Finally (and arguably most importantly) Jasper doesn’t want power. That, more than anything, is what makes him stand out even against other members of the Circle. He is perfectly happy with what he has and doesn’t have any need to change his status or abilities.

a look at palette's magic pen! it's sort of like a mix between a magic wand and a tablet pen, and the star on top is a powerful gem called the artisan's sapphire. nobody really knows where the pen came from, though

it binds itself to someone with a creative or imaginative spirit, and i imagine it kinda works like amy's hammer where it can be summoned seemingly out of thin air. it always morphs into a new design each time it binds to someone, fitting the user's personal tastes

while bound, the pen can't be taken away from the user: if someone else tries running off with it from a far enough distance, it will either fly out of their hands or the user will be dragged along to the culprit

the pen has abilities such as creating things like platforms and springs, although how long they stay up depends on how much energy the user puts into creating them. the ink/paint is always rainbow and glittery, and can be used as sort of a whip or barrier

it can also help create quick disguises for the user and others with illusions, however, it cannot change someone's appearance completely (no species changes or anything like that) and it cannot change their voice. the pen can help enhance others abilities or weapons, such as turning bean's bombs into colorful fireworks or fang's pop gun into a paint gun

using up too much of its abilities will cause the ink/paint to drain quickly, meaning that the pen has to recharge. each major use of an ability also can hit the user's energy; more use means more fatigue. it takes a lot of effort and time to be able to wield the pen effectively (think of it as getting used to a new art tool or program ghdgh)

when the pen's user has artist's block, they also can't use the pen until it's gone away, since the sapphire is directly connected to creative energy

Also at the same time Replickas of the same model suddenly wanna commit the same behaviors that feel right but can hardly explain

Those that give in early on are quick to be decommissioned, all the whole everyone is cluelessly trying to figure out what the fuck is going on and how to stop it
