Hhhjjjj they said it so offhandedly but Murph pointing out how Gerard as a battlemaster is working really well and how Gerard is discovering he's really effective when bossing people around is one of the juiciest character details floating around right now, and it's so good because it's so intrinsically connected to his subclass too.

What I'm getting at is that the intrepid heros laughed it off -- wow, big surprise, the prince loves ordering people around. But it's character!!! Growth!!! Remember his flashback? Remember Elody poring over plans and war strategies while Gerard dismissed it and insisted they kick back and not worry about it? And now he's finding value in that leadership, he's noticing that directing his friends in battle is working, and that he's crazy good at it. Up until now he's just sat on a throne that was merely symbolic, and now he's slowly becoming a leader. I wonder what Elody would think if she met him now???

ok thank you! I've had this theory for MONTHS that it's a real pipeline/thing. I've seen so many Superbat/DC creators in the Star Wars/Mando fandoms, and vice versa.

the marvelous blackkat wrote some DC fic the other day and I literally screamed and almost dropped my phone.

I think the similarities between some of the core fandom loves are pretty apparent. There's a big focus on found family, fighting (for a cause) as a way of life, and being somewhat isolated from normal society.

also, in my personal opinion, if you can handle multiple continuities, random canon plotlines, elseworlds, etc, that makes you a handy DC/Star Wars writer. the skills transfer, or so I like to think.

Man, I REALLY wish they'd give us like... a memory box. Where we could reread old events we've completed without the prizes. Maybe they could have it as like a photo app to keep with the phone theme. It drives me insane enough that there are cards I can never read the Devilgram of because they'll most likely never come back to obtain, but the fact that I can't reread things I unlocked until six months after, IF I give them a limited currency is genuinely the most frustrating thing about the Obey Me games to me.
