Now that both Thor and Peter Quill have been over their respective opposite sex partners put in the plots because of the dominating heteronormativity, can Marvel step up and make them become canon lovers instead of throwing in just tiny breadcrumbs of the LGBT+ community displayed by minor characters and calling it representation?

Haven't seen vol. 3 yet, but if there isn't a scene like this, it still happened, just off-screen (also am really bad with timelines, so I just assumed and you just have to go with it)

TOP 10 MOVIE FANDOMS ON AO3 BASED ON NUMBER OF FANWORKS (2009-2022)

To make these bar chart race, all series titles in the Movies Category on November 29 (or the closest date to it) of every year were copy-pasted from Wayback Machine to Google Sheets, rearranged according to number of fanworks, and then inputted to Flourish to turn into a bar chart race.

Locked fanworks aren't included in the count because Wayback Machine can’t view those, only Ao3 users can.

X-Men (Movieverse) was in 5th place in 2010, but it’s not reflected in the bar chart because this tag was disappeared from the Movies category in 2011-2012.

Star Trek: The Original Series, a tag used in the TV Shows and Movies category, was actually in the 9th place in 2010 but it’s not reflected in the bar chart because this tag was not in the Movies category in 2011-2013.

The Avengers - Ambiguous Fandom was also in the top 10 from 2012-2020, but then was reduced to 5% of its 2020 total fanworks in 2021 onwards because The Avengers (Marvel) - All Media Types and The Avengers (Marvel Movies) was removed from its subtag list. I’m excluding it from the bar chart since it means it shouldn’t have been in the top 10 in the first place.

Thor - All Media Types was used in the Movies category in 2012-2017, existing alongside Thor (Movies) which has been in the Movie fandoms list since 2011. In 2018, Thor - All Media Types was removed from the Movies fandom list and works tagged with it now show up in Thor (Movies) instead. To avoid redundancy, Thor - All Media Types was left out of the bar chart but its numbers were used for Thor (Movies)’s total fanworks in 2012-2017 since it had around 188-3350 more fanworks than the latter in those years.

Marvel (Movies) was used in the Movies category in 2010-2016 and ranked in the top 10 from 2011-2016. In 2017, it was removed from the Movies fandom list and works tagged with it now show up in Marvel instead. To avoid redundancy, Marvel (Movies) was left out of the bar chart, though I did use its data in 2011-2012 for Marvel since Marvel was not in the Movies category in those years.

Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is a subtag of Marvel and Marvel is a metatag for all Marvel works of various media, including comics and movies.

Serenity (2005) was in the Movies category until 2020, after which it was removed and worked tagged with it was redirected to Firefly (TV 2002) instead.

As you can see, broad fandom tags/multicategory tags have dominated the rankings in the Movies category. I might make another version of this bar chart race leaving out the multicategory tags, though it might take a while.

You were just an ordinary culinary student, studying and working part time at your dead end job

Your neighbor was ur childhood friend and a mafia boss, loki laufyson.

You were aware of his less than legal profession but he always kept you safe

You had just started a new internship at Greenleaf pasta shop as the owner's (Thranduil Greenleaf's) assistant

You felt drawn to both men but knew that they were both from different worlds and ... they were mortal enemies.

Loki had murdered Thranduil,s only son Legolas in a freak accident but Thranduil could not forgive Loki

It turns out that Thranduil is actually a rival mafia boss.

Upon discovering your close relationship with Loki, Thranduil kidnaps you and holds you for ransom despite his growing feelings love for you.

He tried to suppress them but he couldn't deny his heart but he had a duty to his family and his dead son,s memory.

Loki is irate when he finds out you have been kidnapped

He was going to confess his love to you at your dinner date that night but now he was in peril. He couldn't lose you like he lost his father Oden.

His brother (Thor) had spiraled and gone off quitting the mafia business to become a space vigilante with a bunch of aliens (watching Chris pines movie xoxo)

You are held captive in an unknown facility with your hands bound and face covered

You cry out for help but no one came to save you, suddenly the sheet on your face was lifted, and you saw a man

He was tall with long dark brown hair.

"Wh-what do you want?" You asked, your voice shaking with fear.

"I want you to tell me everything you know about Loki Laufeyson."

"I-I don't know anything let me go!" You responded struggling to get free.

Then he held up a hand, rearing back to hit you...

"Stop." A voice said.

In stepped Thandruil.

"You!" You cried

Thranduil couldn't look you in the eyes. He was too ashamed.

" I trusted you and you betrayed me! Torture me! How could u!?!!!

"I never meant to hurt you, Amber. I just wanted to get to Loki and have my revenge. He kill my only son. My Legoland, my baby boi

Tear fall from eye and you reach out for him.

But just then Loki bursts into the Factory with a gun trained on Thranduol

He pulls the trigger! A shot rings out! BANG!!!!

A body falls and you cry out...
