Star Wars' Sonic Showers...
For the longest time, the ability to clean yourself off purely with soundwaves bothered me. Not only is that not how sound works, not only is that not how dirt works, but the power and frequency to get it to sort of work would be immense, and immensely uncomfortable.
Yesterday, I remembered that Ultrasonic Humidifiers Exist. Y'know, these things:
Tumblr media
And it clicked. Ultrasonic mist is incredibly fine, and in low doses, will add a minimal amount of humidity to the air in an amount that can be readily controlled or accounted for by onboard systems. Use a nozzle, and you can direct it to specific areas in need of attention, allowing you to freshen up without requiring large amounts of water in a hazardous environment. With humans, you can even dissolve some sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) into the water do help neutrallize odors.
For reference, my interpretation of a Sonic Shower unit:

Batman AU: Bruce has an adoption problem. It started several centuries ago with his first forays into the multiverse, and his first encounters with bad dad batmen. Now more than half of Gotham's population is various versions of the batfam.
He's got like, 160 Alfreds, two suburbs of stephanies, a district of Damians... etc.
Clark is mildly concerned. He had the good sense to incorporate the Kent farm as a township, not take over a city.

I've been thinking about the first Calamity, and when it happened. We know that it was Totk Ganondorf who was responsible, so for a while, I thought that it happened shortly after the memories.
I have a new theory. A wild take. What if the Calamity, and by extension, the fallout (aka the yiga, possibly the gerudo being on poor terms with hyrule) happened right before the Hyrule civil war from Ocarina of time? The one that orphaned Oot Link?
We know that the civil war was caused by the choices of the king. We know that the king post-calamity ordered the shiekah tech and divine beasts hidden away. What if these two things are, in fact, one in the same?
Bonus theory: the Ancient Hero's aspect is a transformation mask like the Fierce Deity. In Japanese, it's called the ancient hero's soul, it's an item, not clothing, and the aura of the ancient hero envelops and transforms the bearer. Sounds like the Fierce Deity to me.

Random dp×dc idea: The Fentons and the Waynes are related, and Bruce got the idea for Brucie from cousin Jacks's antics.

What if the Hero's Spirit was fractured? What if the Shrine of Resurrection brought back all the Links? What if they were tiny feral dragons?

I saw a picture that someone did of Hyrulean coins (since carrying around gems didn't make a ton of sense to them), and thought I'd do my own, starring the Rupee Trio.
The coins say (I believe in WW Hylian): 1 Rupi, 5 Rupi 20 Rupi
Images are engraved

Thoughts About OoT Ganondorf
Spoilers for ToTK Memory "A Show of Fealty"
I am almost 100% Convinced that the Koume and Kotake from this memory are the same ones from Ocarina. And thinking about their relationship with ToTK Ganondorf, and how they raised OoT Ganondorf
- They were loyal servants, and almost certainly supported the Demon King. And since they're almost 400 in OoT, they spent the next 4 centuries working for the rebirth of their lord and master, seeking out every Gerudo Voe born
-Putting effort into training the boys, trying to shape them into the next incarnation of the Demon King. Only to fail.
-Until they got to Dragmire. A boy so like their master. Who took to their teachings like a seal took to sand. He grows up steeped in their stories of the Legendary Demon King Ganondorf, who he is named after. He spends his childhood learning every scrap of magic they've picked up over the centuries
-He sees what was denied to the Demon King, what his people are owed. He craves it. He will finish what his predecessor started
The idea - it gives me feels

It occurs to me that the Depths are a sneaky version of the Dark World that pops up time and again
Darker and more dangerous than the Light World? Yep.
An inverted mirror realm of Hyrule? Mountains become canyons, and rivers become walls, so yeah!
A strange version of the world we know? Definitely!
It checks all my boxes for a version of the Dark World, and I think's its an interesting twist on a familiar idea!

ToTK Depths Headcanons
Mild gameplay spoilers ahead!
The Armor of the Depths - and the shape of the Bargainers - reminded me strongly of the Poe Collector from Ocarina of Time.
What if the Poe Collectors work for the Bargainers?
It's the duty of the Bargainers to send wandering souls onward
But they're immobile statues, and the Poes are scattered all over
And some form up on the surface, out of reach.
Cue the Poe Collectors.
They are of varied people and origin
But they all work with the Bargainers.
Clad in the Armor of the Depths, they brave darkness and Gloom to retrieve lost poes.
When needed, they journey to the Surface to track down any lost or malignant poes.
But most of their time is spent down in the Depths.

It occurs to me that over the course of Draula Daily, we're experiencing a compressed history of media, going from episodic printing, to a regular radio play.
I fully expect next year that some disgruntled fans will take matters into their own hands and we will move into the era of television.
