Tried #drawing in my "analog" #sketchbook on the train & bus for the first time in years. My #inspiration came from fragments of #faces around me. I expected it to be more frustrating than #sketching on my Samsung Galaxy #Note8. But with #pencil, it's similar. That's good news, because I've rediscovered the tactile fulfillment of putting actual #graphite to #paper. That's also how I've begun most of my digital work lately. It feels good to return to traditional #artist materials while continuing to refine the work digitally. #creativeprocess (at New York, New York)
