The ibuprofen lol. Azriel needs therapy

Why are El/riels acting like it's some great forbidden romance or starcrossed lovers ship when all it truly is is Azriel jacking off because he thinks Elain is hot and Elain clinging to anyone who isn't Lucien because to her that somehow means keeping what is left of her humanity by not accepting the bond.

Their relationship doesn't go beyond physical attraction at best, Azriel constantly patronizes her and frankly doesn't gaf about Elain as a person. All we see in the acosf bonus chapter is him wanting to bone her, saying he wants to eat her 😺 is not a goddamn love confession.

Furthermore, they are kinda both projecting their feelings for somebody else onto eachother. Azriel knows that Morrigan doesn't want him, as soon as another pretty woman comes his way he goes awooga like some caveman. (Seriously, masturbating to what is essentially ibuprofen? Boy)

Elain begged Graysen to take her back and he refused to, not only because she was turned, but because she was mated to Lucien. She thinks Lucien at least partly responsible for her fiancèe not wanting her anymore. And because there is someone else who's tall, dark haired and potentially handsome, she latches onto Azriel.

Am I making sense? I think I am. If you don't think so, go cry about it.

This is from 2016, by the way. She originally planned for Nesta and Lucien. And then thought Elain and Lucien would fit together better.

And the last thing I want to say is that you people need to stop having the audacity of calling yourself Elain stans. Because if you really were, you'd want to see her with the sensible, charming and attentive guy instead of the emo boy who projects his sexual desires onto her.

(Here I was, swearing to myself to not get mixed up in this whole shit show. But I can't keep quiet with people not using the braincells god gave them.)

My least favorite characters in sjm are Azriel and Cassian.

Fight me lol

Azriel the tormented torturer. He has family. Has had family for years. Rhys's mom was there for both Cassian and Azriel.

Azriel saying elain shouldn't be exposed to darkness. Hello she already has been. In her human life and fae.

She can handle it like Amren says.

Amren who is still suspicious. Though she figures out weakness and strengths of people.

Azriel wants to protect. I understand his mom wasn't protected. Neither was he.

Cassian don't get me started. Someone him telling nests hold on to the headboard makes everything else ok ..

These are males that are hundreds of years older than these females.

Yet they have no idea about them.

I'm not saying Rhys is perfect. Though he's dealing with lots. Sold his body to protect his people and family. Found his mate. Watched her die. Than wanted a child. Though his Illyrian dna was going to kill her.

So it's okay for Azriel to want a blood duel over Elain. Without even asking Elain. Argue with Rhys about it.

Though Cassian not standing up to Rhys is ok. After hofas. Which I truly don't believe Rhys would have hurt nesta. Though Cassian not defending her nor Azriel. Who supposedly is her bestie.

Ember defends her and Feyre. We just didn't read about Feyre. I'm sure she threw several shoes and objects at her mate for being an asshole again.

They still have to work on their relationship. Become better brother and sister.

Which I hope the sisters become better to each other.

I'm excited for Rhys and Elain to form a sibling bond. Maybe Elain as usual will be the emissary to bring Nesta and Rhys together as siblings.

Cassian who grew up in the Illyrian camps. Who called Eris a coward. Without fully knowing what exactly goes on in autumn.

I'm sure Beron gives his sons chocolate after he beats them.

Both Azriel and Cassian grew up around males that were abusive towards female Illyrians.

Eris who stopped Keir from going to velaris. I think he cares for Morrigan. She cares for him too. They have a secret. Which Jurian may know about.

Jurian called Morrigan a liar. She didn't argue back.

Lucien lost jesminda. Lucien who was exiled from autumn. Had to fight his brothers. Kill one.

Not trying to sound like I'm comparing traumas.

Just saying Azriel and Cassian being older than most the other characters. Don't know how to deal.

I'm sure Eris and Lucien are younger than both the bats.

Azriel made me mad in silver flames.

He doesn't know what he wants.

Rhys knows Az. He doesn't want lucien or Az to die.

Enough of death. Also you know Feyre after nyx was born is giving Rhys hell.

I thought Eris and Nesta would actually conquer the world together. Help others too.

Get rid of Beron.

Lucien and Elain can travel the world together.

Imagine Elain finding books for Nesta and Gwyn.

Paints for Feyre.

Spices for Emerie.

Jewels for amren.

Very nice tailored clothing that is lint resistant for Rhys

For Eris a new breed of hounds. Also nicely tailored clothing

For Morrigan any clothing colored red.

I used to be an elriel. Till my rereads.

Lucien and Elain have very similar personalities and reactions to experiences.

As Morrigan said give them time. They're not ready.

It's kind of funny how X-MEN '97 has flipped traditional character archetypes on their heads to where the nice guy/boy scout is telepathically cheating on his wife while the guy with a reputation of being a total whore is endlessly devoted to a woman he can't even touch. lol

So here's a theory.

Spoilers for hofas

I believe koschei and his siblings were creations of the valg kings.

As were the asteri/daglan were creations too. They became world walkers like Maeve. We know from hofas that the asteri called themselves world walkers.

What if some of them disobeyed Maeve and went to conquer worlds.

She stayed in erilea. Rigelus formed an uprising and brought fae to prythinan.

He wanted to have fae mixed with other fae. Remember Maeve supposedly was fae.

So my theory is the kings sent koschei and his siblings to go after them.

Though Maeve tricked them. Sent them to prythinan not erilea.

She knew about the cauldron. The mother or urd. Maeve tricked many.

The next actoar book. Koschei is starting to have his minions put collars on humans not fae. Fae are just under spells.

Graysen gets collared. Elain wants to save him.

Though this is all apart of koschei plan to get elain to orcrux. Become his new wife.

Since the mother gave Elain gifts and the bond. She's special. For some reason.

Nesta took the corruption out of the cauldron into herself. That's why she was in such a darker place. Had to get rid of some of the powers because would destroy her.

Elain gets tricked. Ends up in the valg home world to bring life back into their planet.

Lucien and the band of exiles have been observing this. Lucien's abilities to see spells etc.

Jurian's time as an 👁️ with Amarantha. Already knows about these valg. Hybern worked with asteri. Knew about them wanted them back. That's why he was invading prythinan and brought the wall down.

Elain and Nesta stopped him. Feyre stopped Amarantha.

Vassa has overheard Koschei giving away his plans.

So what if lucien and the band of exiles follow Elain into the valg world.

Maybe have Azriel and Gwyn join too.

Eris as well. Because he knows about things too

Orcrux tries to put a valg into elain. Though he cannot. Somehow it unleashs her hidden powers.
