bros before hoes ✰ chapter 09: dance dance

Waiting for Sunghoon, you quickly set up the cameras for your behind the scenes vlog. You were excited to practice with him again, having had so much fun the last time.

Through out the one month you’ve been MCs, you like to think you’ve gotten a lot closer. Especially after the day you practiced 7th sense together.

It was so easy to be around Sunghoon, his naturally charming and slightly awkward personality matching yours perfectly. He always knew exactly what to say, whether he was reassuring you or cheering you up. The highlight of your weeks was when you went to MC with him, always having the time of your life with his silly jokes and witty improvisations.

You’re reviewing the choreography for the dance as Sunghoon walks in, excitedly waving at you. You wave back to him, signalling him to come over to the camera.

You both stand awkwardly in front of the camera, looking at each other before you burst out giggling. You take a deep breath, trying to calm yourself.

It was all in vain, because when you make eye contact with him again, the both of you breaking out into peals of laughter.

‘Today we’re gonna be practicing ‘woman on the beach’!!’ Your bright smile covers half the frame, your hands filling the rest as you excitedly continue to ramble about the stage.

‘I might be excited, but I don’t think Sunghoon is…’ You tilt the camera to capture Sunghoon, who looks like he’s going through the entire range of human emotion in the span of 3 seconds. He sighs, whining as he comes closer to you.

‘Why did they have to pick such a cute concept.’ He pouts unconsciously, frowning at the stage instructions in his hand. ‘I’m SO bad at cute concepts!’

‘Awww, no you aren’t! But… is this reminding you of Chamber 5? Another concept out of your comfort zone.’ You smirk as you tease him lightly, giggling at the way his ears go red.

‘PLEASE! Don’t remind me of that torture!!!’ He shudders, trying to shake away the bad memories.

‘Hmm I don’t think cute concepts should be that hard for you, considering you were the cutest in Hey Tayo!’ You continue to tease him, enjoying the way he squirms.

‘Oh my god, come on, let’s just get to practicing, PLEASE!’ He drags you away from the camera, your laughter following his footsteps.

You begin practicing, and slowly you start to slip into the zone. Although it’s a cute and lighthearted concept, you can’t help but treat it with incredible amounts of seriousness, focusing on every bit of advice the choreographer gives you.

Practice seems to go on for hours, but it’s so much more bearable with Sunghoon’s pearly smile and adorable whining.

After about 2 hours, your bones feel like jelly and your face hurts from smiling. Just as you strike the ending pose for the performance, you hear the door open.

You turn around to see Tsuki, smiling ear to ear. She waves at you, patiently waiting for the choreographer to announce your break.

‘Sunghoon, this is your chance!! Go to talk to her!’ You push him lightly and he stumbles, his limbs suddenly burdened with awkwardness as he tentatively approaches Tsuki.

Your legs and hands may hurt from the hours of practice, but nothing hurts more than the tightening of your chest as you see Sunghoon talking to Tsuki, or at least trying to talk to her.

He awkwardly tries to make conversation with her, smiling every so often. You see Tsuki smiling back at him, nodding her head quizzically. Her lips curl into a small smile as he continues to ramble, eyes earnest as she listens to every word he says.

They look good together, complimenting each other in ways you didn’t think could be possible. And Sunghoon looks happy, and you know this is what he wants, she is who he wants. At the end of the day, it’s her, and not you.

You walk away, not ready to face that pain yet. You sit in the furthest corner of the room, waiting for everything to be over.

all of the bonten boys were sitting down in the dinner room after dinner and a meeting. they just got off a zoom call with their manager when sanzu opened his mouth to ask. question.

"when the fuck did you and y/n become a thing?" sanzu asked.

"a few days ago." rindou shrugged, as if it was nothing. he honestly wasn't paying attention, too focused on texting his new 'girlfriend'.

"didn't y'all like dispise each other a few weeks ago." mochi asked.

"things change." rindou chuckled, his entire focus on his phone.

favorite idiot: i changed your name in my phone just in case someone sees you texting me

rinrin <3: yours is favorite idiot and i'm not changing it

favorite idiot: ofc you wouldn't 🙄 we also should probably start texting like a couple…for the same reason..can you come to ikea with me tmmw too?

"what has you smiling over there, loveboy?" ran asked his brother. when he didn't get a response, he calmly walked over behind him and stood, looking over his shoulder. "oooh your favorite idiot is texting you."

"fuck off ran." rindou said, shying his phone away.

"how did you get a girlfriend before us?" kokonoi asked. "especially one as fine as y/n. that girl would've got all the work."

"dude. don't talk about his girl like that." kakucho said to his friend.

"i'm just saying, y/n is probably the sexiest woman i've ever seen in my fucking life." koko shrugged. “lucky i didn’t get a hold of her. would’ve fucked fucked the life out of-“

"she got any single friends?" takeomi asked, cutting off his much vulgar housemate, “someone who isn’t in a relationship.”

"katara is sing-"

"dibs." ran said before rindou could even finish his sentence.

"what the fuck, no fair!" koko said.

"hey, dibs is dibs." mikey finally spoke before going back to his ramen.

"katara is so fine." mochi said. "two pretty best friends."

"stay off tiktok." takeomi laughed.

rindou quietly walked away as the group continued the conversation. something about koko's words made him...angry. for all everyone know, you were his. "fucking asshole." he muttered before starting grand theft auto 5 on his ps5. "hitting on my girl."

his girl? that made him freeze as the thought crossed his mind. everyone thinks that y/n was his girl. not ran's, not haru's, not even mikey's.

rinrin <3 : come see me baby. i miss you.

hopefully that didn't sound too cheesy. oh god, she's not gonna respond-

favorite idiot: okay rin. i miss you too.

"you okay?" y/n asked. as soon as she had arrived to the gaming house, rindou practically dragged her to his room before shutting the door.

"yeah." rindou said before the realization of what he did hit him. he tried to hid the blush of embarrassment that grew on his face before he spoke. "i know this isn't exactly apart of our agreement but i just, i dunno, was lonely."

"ypu don't have to say that, rin. you need me , call me. kay?" you reassured him. “we’re still friends right? i mean, you can call me for anything.”

“yeah, okay.” he mumbled, a feeling he’s never felt bubbling in his chest. “sorry for scaring you.”

"it’s okay rin, i swear. wanna play minecraft?"

ROSES - CHAPTER 21 : "funny" ──────────────────────────────

while felix and y/n were walking back to her house, they decided to get some snacks from the convenience store so they could have a little movie night. they walked into the store, greeted the old lady at the counter, and walked straight to the snack section.

"oooh we should get takis!" felix pointed at them

"uh yea no way in hell."

"WHAT you dont like takis?!?" felix yelled, y/n had to put her hand over his mouth to shut him up.

"no, i dont. they're too spicy"

"but you like spicy food?"

"okay but these are different, plus the red 40 on them gives you cancer. so no, we are not getting these." she took them out of the basket and placed them on the shelf

"awww" felix pouted, y/n chuckled and pulled her phone out to take a picture of him pouting.

after they bought all the snacks, which y/n has reluctantly let felix pay for, they started the walk back to her house. everything was fine and they had just stepped through her door until felix was getting spammed by his members and managers, and all of y/n's friends started spamming her too.

"oh my god babe i'm still so scared what if they find my accounts and start threatening me" y/n started to panic

"no no they wont there's no way they will, the picture didn't even have our faces." felix knew everything was going to be okay, "lets take our minds off of this and watch movies kay?"

y/n nodded and they snuggled up in the middle of her couch in front of the tv while opening the snacks they bought. 2 disney movies and 3 chip bags later y/n decided it was time for the sappy part of the date, so she paused the movie and looked up at felix who was resting his head on hers.

"hey felix"

"hm?" he looked down at her

"thank you, for being here for me, and also being a really amazing boyfriend." she smiled

"aww baby of course! i'm always gonna be here for you" he grinned and leaned down and pecked her nose. y/n smiled and stared up at him for what felt like minutes until she decided to lean in and kiss his lips. y/n quickly pulled away after she realized he wasn't kissing back.

"sh-shit i'm sorry i don't know why-" y/n got cut off after felix pressed his lips onto hers way more vigorously, with way more love. he cupped her cheeks with both hands and started moving her onto his lap, and at that bold movement she couldn't help but giggle through the kiss, extremely happy where this was going. he parted from her as the kiss got more intense, looking into her eyes and trying not to succumb to the urge of going farther than this. she looked down at him and smiled, rubbing her hands through his scalp.

"you know..that was my first kiss" she grinned at him

"hm, funny"

"huh? are you calling me inexperienced?" y/n got a little nervous

"no silly, im saying its funny how it was both of our first kisses." he teased

"really?! im your first?" she was shocked

"mhm, i hope you can be my first for lots of other thing too" he winked.

Mha Headcannons (Hanta Sero)

AWWW YEAH TAPE MAN IS HERE! LET’S GET IT!

I feel like he LOVES cuddles in warm cuddly blankets. It’s a must have when it comes to naps and sleep.

He has a random dancing mode where he just grabs you and dances with you at random moments. He likes to hum music that he likes while you’re dancing.

He teaches you Spanish in his spare time which makes you feel really special. You guys talk about people in Spanish sometimes like about how rude Bakugo was or how much of a prev Mineta is. When you mess up he finds it cute because you get all frustrated. (We all know you’re adorable especially when you get mad).

If you guys are fighting he’ll tie you up so you can’t storm out. He’ll pretty much try to work it out with you until you stop fighting.

He’ll definitely tease you about how much taller than you he is. (If he is taller than you Ik he’s taller than me I’m 5′3).

People expect him to get super jealous when you hang out with the Bakusquad but he doesn’t. He knows that you won’t do anything because he trusts you.

LAST ONE FOR NOW: Fridays are his days. You spend all day with him on Fridays. Their known as “Hang days”.

hi! i started following you when i found your veep posts after i finished the show! I've been enjoying your posts discussing the shiv pregnancy plotline and i love all of your analysis posts! ❤️ i'm also REALLY hoping they don't pull an amy plotline on this, but i don't think they will. and this message below got really long, i'm sorry!

i think shiv's plotline is also a new way to look at femininity and womanhood through her eyes. she's considering if it will hold her back professionally, and also how people may see it as an excuse to treat her differently or fragile bc of it -at least that's how i took the fall scene and her conversation with tom on the steps. it does seem like she might be trying to prove something to her mom. she also mentions their mom the most (maybe the same/more than roman does?) and their conversation last season in italy wrecked me, personally.

i don't always agree with shiv, but at those exact points it's just like the aspect and pain of how she's seen or treated differently bc she's a woman is emphasized and it stabs right through me. like, i get it. i can truly understand what it feels like, and they portray that perspective perfectly.

awww oh my god hi !!! so glad to have another veep expat onboard here there are disconcertingly few of us. and yes i completely nd totally agree -- i'm - gulp - maybe looking forward to the pregnancy plotline possibly?? like, do i trust succession to do it well? not entirely. but do i trust it more than any other show currently airing that i can think of? ummm yeah probably. i am also a known Complicated Female Character Aficionado and while i have always liked shiv a lot, for some reason i never quite resonated with her the way i have some other female characters -- not entirely sure why that is, maybe it's the wealth, but maybe it's the lack of focus on her inner life in prev seasons. not that she isn't complicated or interesting, but that a lot of what we know about her really only relates to her relationships with men and how she exists around them -- which is obviously an incredibly huge aspect of her character and the lives of women generally (i fuckin know it is for me), but we haven't seen much of who she is outside of that. and even if she's literally nothing outside of that, i still want to see and explore it, because that's character depth too (she's so wrapped up in roy-style masculinity that she literally doesn't know who she is outside of it etc).

to me, the most interesting shiv scenes have largely been the ones she shares with other women -- with gerri, with her lawyer friend, with the woman she talked out of coming forward about cruises, with fucking caroline?? like, there are just a lot of Career Women Who Shove Down Femininity To Exist In Masculine Worlds in television these days, and i just want to see some more interiority with shiv, because i know it's there, we get hints of it and it plays across snook's face in every scene. i'm not saying i want to be explicitly told every aspect of her life -- god, no, that would be an entirely different show -- but that i want some like focus on her, not her relationship with tom or logan or kendall or roman but something with the purpose of developing her. more than any other character on the show i feel like i just know so little about her life before, beyond, outside of waystar royco. and if there isn't stuff beyond that, then i want to see that too! i just think there is so much that could be done with shiv that hasn't been quite covered already (it is an ensemble show, after all) and i'm really hoping this plotline will kind of fill that void. maybe it won't, maybe it'll suck, but maybe it will be the deep dive into shiv i've been waiting for. praying and praying and praying succession does for shiv what i so desperately wanted veep to do for amy brookheimer fr <3

I really don’t care whether you ship it or not, but man am I TIRED of the comments saying “Gus deserves someone that’s actually GOOD’’ like??????

You all need to rewatch TTLGR again because technically the reason Matty and Gus are close now is BECAUSE of Matty himself. He was the ONLY one that walked away from Bria and her group when she treated Gus like crap for the illusion stuff and when she wanted to steal the Galderstones.

Mattholomule literally saw Gus tied up and went to go untie him ( they were both like🥺🥺🥺🥺) apologized for his ignorant comments about illusions, and he was the one who offered to help the Master Illusionist guy (’’Maybe I can help?”) and that is how they both used to work at the graveyard.

ALSO??? they were just teasing each other at the end of TTLGR, and we’ve even gotten crumbs in 2B, like him MULTITRACKING and joining the Illusion track most likely because of Gus’ cool illusions? And Gus having a picture of him and Mattholomule on his bedroom wall, along with other pictures of other people he loves and feels safe around?? I initally pegged Luke as type number 2, but Luke has spent a good chunk of his life living with MC, and she seems like the type that would insist on him actually using proper products because omg Luke that soap is meant for your body it's not the same you can't use that for everything!! So now he just keeps using the routine she recommended when they were younger because it just lowkey reminds him of her 🥺 I'm curious where the rest of the NXX boys would fall on this scale though!! IT IS TIME FOR ME TO RAMBLE FOR A KILOMETRIC AMOUNT OF WORDS ABOUT SKINS OF THEMIS!!!!

nxx boys' skin......care routines

wc: 1.6k words about skin

vyn richter: supple and enraging, his skin is great and im suing him for it

vyn is fancy, vyn is prissy, vyn knows how to make MACARONS, so like obviously his skincare routine is high end as all fuckin hells. but like?? he doesnt even NEED IT TO BE!!! because his skin is naturally amazing

see, i may not know about vyn's diet (i assume it's delicious and balanced) or vyn's general physical health (he seems like a general physician's dream come true) but i do know one thing vyn richter gets a lot of: SLEEP.

sleep is like the best thing u can do for ur skin, passively. lets ur skin repair damage and thus reduces wrinkles or age spots. as marius loves to remind us every single second, vyn wakes up at 9am. prev canon content tells us that vyn sleeps at around 11pm, giving vyn's skin (skin richter...) 10 wholeass hours to take care of itself. recommended sleep hours for a person of his age is 7-9 hours. vyn adds on another hour. for the INDULGENCE OF IT ALL.

but yes, his skincare routine is the following in this order: gentle facial cleanser, toner, moisturizing lotion, sunscreen. pretty simple tbh, still on the scale of "chill" skincare routine but definitely near the line of "10 steps i will follow to my grave." important to note tho that all the products he uses are stupid fancy.

i think maybe sometimes, like after a busy or stressful day, he'll do a face mask. still fancy, but he doesnt rlly go after the ones that do too much, he likes the aromatic ones. fragrant face mask on, his antique gramophone crooning Rainy Days and Mondays by The Carpenters, and vyn is living the life.

luke pearce: skin thankfully was saved by mc, but before that it was TERRIBLE

i ONE HUNDO PERCENT agree with ur headcanon!!! it's SO SWEET HHHHH. i can imagine that once mc's skincare routine is drilled into his mind and heart (and she rlly made sure he remembered it!!! it's quite basic, not truly bare minimum, but on the chill scale of daily skincare: a gentle facial cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen. now this is a mf knows skincare stuff from front to back. PAX has cosmetics branches but thats not why he knows imo, he knows because hes a fruity guy. and a vain one, sometimes. the point here is that he's KNOWLEDGEABLE. you cant scam this dude with subpar or overhyped skincare products. snail cream face mask? yeah ofc he knows about that [marius_von_scoffing.mp3] but youre saying this snail cream mask is the be-all-end-all of skincare? oh he KNOWSSSS UR WRONG, BUDDY!!!!!

that being said, since hes quite knowledgable he also knows skin differs from person to person. he did his research to figure out his skin type and what routine fits it best and makes him look sexy pretty hottest.

marius' skincare routine changes sometimes (theres one he does daily and one he does every 2 or 3 weeks, gotta exfoliate, duhhhh)

but his daily one is the following (after a shower): micellar water, toner, moisturizing lotion, sunscreen.

honestly, marius' biggest trouble is eyebags. he sleeps much too little and i am always gonna be stressed about that. hes stressed about it too bc he cant LOOK like hes having a hard time bc thatd mean ppl would be sincerely worried about him and marius is allergic to positive sincerity. hes got some products to protect against noticeable eyebags but hes not above using some concealer if it's a Bad Fuckin Week

additionally, marius often wears makeup for fun (gender feels) or for profit (business gatherings where theres a bunch of bright lights) so he always makes sure to prep his face for makeup and clean it all off after. regular makeup without the correct protection and aftercare is a death sentence for ur skin...

artem wing: it aint much but it's honest (skin) work (but forreal, artie, do a face mask sometime...)

artem is a guy who strikes me as a "does what has to be done" type of person with an added dash of "me? indulging? is that not what will send me to hell?" artem's idea of indulging is buying high quality whetstone to sharpen his kitchen knives with. he orders it online in advanced for his birthday and is pleased when the deliveryperson drops off the LITERAL BLOCK at artem's apartment. brick brick brick, it's fun! (whatever floats ur boat, artem)

anyway, he doesnt do anything about skincare until hes 20 years old or something in law school and good ol' mentor neil hume is like "artem, if you keep frowning and furrowing your brows like that, you're going to get wrinkles at 25" and artem is like "i dont care about...wrinkles" and neil is like jsdbfsdjkgjsd of course. but the conversation Does make artem curious enough to research about wrinkles, then about face skin, then about skincare and then hes like. IM DOING FACE SKIN THINGS ALL WRONG (I.E. I HAVE NOT BEEN DOING ANYTHING)

after that, artem does the following daily skincare routine: gentle facial cleanser particularly for dry skin (artem realizes his skin is dry, and that uh. HES DRY IN GENERAL. like have u seen how much coffee this dude drinks??? drink some water, sir??? hes toeing the line of dehydration, i know it, and his body is having trouble creating most liquids. dry skin. dry skin for artem wing), soft cream, sunscreen.

he does not enjoy...Strong Fragrances. or Intense Face Sensations. or just anything that feels like his face is going through something chemical, in the bad way. gentle products all the way, artem wing must be placed in a swaddles of softness ONLY...

bonus: nxx investigation team skincare bonding

marius and luke are the ones most open and game and HAPPY to have chill face mask friday night funtime with mc. granted, luke is gonna be like "THIS FEELS WEIRD AND COLD AND SLIMY" once mc slaps the mask onto his face. but he gets used to it pretty quickly. esp after marius teases him like "super spy can handle everything but aloe vera, huh?" and then after that marius has to dodge luke's tackle attack. friday night funtime with the boyz!!!

vyn and artem are invited to friday night funtime but theyre both hesitant. vyn because hes like "i dont look handsome when theres a face mask on my face" and artem because hes like "what if i get a bad grade at having fun on a friday night with friends. this is something both normal to fear and possible to achieve"

but i think mc has some great puppy eyes (she grew up with luke, of course she'd have great puppy eyes, im sure he TAUGHT HER) and so vyn and artem eventually get over themselves bc theyre both whipped as hell

once that happens, it's a lovely bonding disaster. marius is trying to ramble BETTER about the science of skincare vs. luke who did research because goddamnit, he's not going to let marius win so easily. artem prepared a relaxing spotify playlist and vyn takes potshots at him when a spotify ad plays and hes like "dont have premium? shame." and artem holds back on pelting the phone at vyn's clear skinned face. mc is just happy all her friends are here being dumb and having fun

all in all the nxx skinvestigation team is doing GREAT in terms of face skin. im sure random stellis citizens look at them walking around like "...he doesnt deserve his skin...i....deserve his skin..."

Since Toji helped to raise Y/N’s child won’t it be especially painful for him when YN inevitably chooses Gojo since he’ll essentially lose a child he helped raise.

I completely understand where Y/N was coming from when she hid her pregnancy from Gojo. But also 3 years, when a child develops sm and everyone agreed to keep the information from Gojo. Although I was one of the ppl that really wanted Gojo to receive his karma I don’t quite understand why YN did that considering that who Gojo was as a husband is separate from who he’d be as a father. I understand 1 year to get away from the chaos but 3? Why? Also who knew? Ieri? Gojos mom?

I personally think they weren't in love with each other at all. Sera liked the good, healthy, happy and perfect parts of gojo, bec she rarely saw him in the kind of situations that y/n did, and she was hellbent on thinking that her relationship with him is the only good thing going on in her life, so ofc she held on to that idea of a perfect man (that gojo definitely was not) And gojo oof I rlly think that he just used Sera to piss off his dad, and eventually just got used to her company??? and just kept her around bec subconsciously it gave him some sense of control over his own life and decisions (which were otherwise dictated by his father) and ofc it helps that she was an attractive woman. SOOO PLS TELL ME YOUR OPINION ON HER!!

I started feeling particularly bad for her, bec I can really understand where she's coming from. Yeah she was extremely unpleasant at times and had serious issues, but I can't find it in myself to really blame her :(( she was done wrong by gojo. both her and y/n. they deserved better. I think this is why I still don't particularly feel sympathy towards gojo, Idk it's all his karma catching up to him in my opinion 😭🙏🏻

i always think that their relationship was toxic. she didn’t care for him more than having this image of a ‘perfect rich man’ while gojo’s love for her had always been strictly physical. sera has many flaws as a character, but that’s what makes her human. she leaves you conflicted on whether you should stay mad at her or if you should feel bad bc of her struggles in life :) all in all, her character is complex and will be judged from different lenses. personally, if i was yn, i think sera has learned her lesson and that’s enough for me to forgive, but not exactly forget ykwim?

Miss y/n doesn’t sound very convinced about her second wedding huh… I wonder if she would have had that same reaction if Satoru had not showed up. Idk about y/n but I’m about to run to that altar and marry Toji myself at this point. Anyways I feel really bad for Satoru and I hope he can heal himself rather than be healed by y/n. I know eventually he’ll have to face her again about the whole fake abortion and hiding their baby thing, but for that to happen, I hope he can at least be levelheaded or else the child will be the one suffering with an unstable father. If he’s bound to end up with y/n at the end of the story, I just hope he can find peace within himself first and that y/n doesn’t go all “I can fix him”. But I trust you Saint, I know you’ll deliver the good drama and the craziest plot twists. I truly can’t wait for season 2 and all the new characters we’ll get to see. I’m most excited for mr sukuna and how he’ll be introduced to the story 😗

ROSES - CHAPTER 19 : "daddy🥵" ───────────────────────

felix and jisung arrived at the cafe just after 3:00. jisung was so happy to see y/n and her friends again, felix on the other hand, not as much. its not that he doesn't like them, he is just really nervous.

"bro han i dont think i can do this." felix started panicking

"oh my god you're such a drama queen they literally love you. y/n even told you that." han was fed up of felix acting like a coward

"man up and walk in bro" han opened the door and pushed felix in

as soon as the wind chime on the door ringed all 5 of the workers looked ad the door and saw felix and jisung. han ran to the counter to go mingle with all of them while felix was standing in place. y/n walked over to him and took his arm and placed a kiss on his cheek, there was no other customers in the cafe around this time so she wasn't worried about being seen with him.

"hey whats on your mind? come meet everyone hm?" she pulled him by his arm and dragged him towards her friends.

"okay guys this is felix, my boyfriend!" she smiled widely

"h-hey.. uh yea im felix!" he was so nervous he really didn't know what to say

"awww hes nervous" ryujin teased him

"hes such a pussy right" han added on to ryujins teasing remark and shook his head.

keeho then walked around over to him and put his arm over his shoulders and stared at the group.

"hey bro you don't have to be nervous around us, like for real, we all love you" keeho felt the need to calm him down

"aww look keeho and felix are having a moment!" yunjin pointed out

"me an jisung should be having a moment right now bruh" jongseob said jokingly

everyone turned their heads towards him after he said that.

"ummm what." jisung was at loss for words

"GUYS CHILL I WAS JOKING." jongseob had to defend himself

"yea right" y/n added on

they all talked and ate some pastries, everyone was having a good time save for the one or two customers who would walk in, then the 5 workers would play a game of rock paper scissors to see who would go to the counter. then it became 5:00 which means people would be getting off of work around this time and the cafe started getting busy, so jisung and felix took this as their cue to leave before being spotted by anyone. they waved at the busy group of 5 behind the counter and walked out the door.

With those words, you were out the door - no use postponing this reunion any longer.

I mean, really, what kind of luck do you need to sleep through several missed calls and incessant pounding on your door, only to wind up dining alone with the man you’ve been in love with since middle school? The shittiest, you decide.

You know that’s not entirely true, though. Aran had been your friend way before any feelings became involved - and what a great friend he was. He had always looked out for you and even now, after not having seen each other for about a year, he’s accommodating you with no complaint.

But it’s been a year, surely any romantic feelings you’ve ever had for him are gone, right?

Oh, how wrong you are and you’re made aware of your inaptitude to assess your own feelings as you near your designated meeting spot. Through the glass doors you spot the infamous Aran Ojiro in all of his handsome glory.

Everything about him seemed foreign and familiar at the same time - from the way he confidently carried himself to the way he glowed in the evening sun. Regardless of how much of him appeared the same, there was no doubting how much he had grown in this one year apart.

Your breath catches in your throat as Aran lifts his gaze from his phone to you, your knees almost buckling from his demanding yet captivating eyes. It takes just about everything in you to not give into your heart palpitations and the giddy tickles in your stomach, the same sensations reminding you that you are still so infatuated with the man in front of you. Aran truly is a sight to behold.

The way your face heats up as he smiles at you is all-consuming, and you pray to whatever entity up above that the flush on your cheeks is not apparent to him because how the hell does this man hold so much power with his presence alone? The world may never know. May the world, however, bear witness to the way this hunk of a man completely left you starstruck, so much so that you didn’t even catch yourself stepping out to join him and almost missing the way his arms wrapped around your full figure to embrace you in a firm hug.

“Y/n,” he breathes out low and deep, a small chuckle rumbling out from within his chest. You let out a laugh of your own, his glee contagious as you parrot his name back, “Aran.”

As limbs disentangle, you catch sight of the same bright smile he greeted you with and, with the way your cheeks burn, you figure you’re cheesing just as hard and just as wide. “It’s been so long,” you say as you fully pull away from him. “Too long,” he corrects you.

Standing with him now, you can’t help but agree - it has been too long.

“Well, let’s get going, yeah?” he suggests, nodding his head in the direction you assume your dinner awaits. “They’ve got this bread bar that I know you’ll love.”

You throw your head back as you let out a laugh - why does he know you so well? “I’m sure I will. Lead the way,” you finish with a fond look on your face.

And so you both set off, exchanging warm words both reminiscing about the past and filling each other up on your time away from each other, all the while Aran guides you and keeps you close with a warm hand on your lower back. Stories are shared and laughs are barked, it feels nice to be like this with him again.

Yeah, it’s been way too long.

Since the prev season has been really good at foreshadowing what happens in the next I wouldnt be surprised if EJ ends up being a summer baby & Gina & Ash throw him a surprise party at camp. It might even be the 4th of July LOL. Also I headcanon that whatever G and EJ started knitting in 2.08 ends up as a blanket she gives him for his b-day & the corner patch is what she points out as s/t they started t/g. Jus tryna stay a posi PW since we tend to freak out more often then not. S3 here we come😂

That would definitely be in line with how the show usually foreshadows things. It'd be adorable if we got to see EJ celebrate his birthday with his friends 🥰 And away from his dad too (we still have no idea what his relationship with his mom is like so idk if he'd miss her or not). Could be a good moment for him to start some new birthday traditions.

Awww, it'd be adorable if the thing Gina was knitting in 2x08 came up again! It didn't look like they made much progress on it that night, but it'd be such a sweet and meaningful gift, especially because it'd show how much that night meant to both of them 🥺 ❤️

I'm loving all this positivity from you, anon! Keep it up! We have no reason to be worried, so I don't see why we can't keep this positivity going all hiatus. No more freak outs, just happy thoughts and good vibes! And before you know it, season 3 will be here and we'll get to enjoy even more Portwell goodness 🥰

I had to split up my season 3 watch awkwardly because the second part of it was too picture heavy and tumblr only wants you to have 10 pictures per post, per the No Fun Allowed Rule. :/ I was planning on just doing 1-6 then 7-13, but, it'll probably be split into 3 posts now... I mean, he's temporarily in a hotel and technically displaced rn (...I thought for sure he'd have more vacation homes...) so I guess there's probably a grace period to find a permanent home in amity park?

-ME, CHEERING DANNY ON EVERY SINGLE TIME HE BEATS VLAD UP, BEING SO PROUD OF MY SON:

-frostbite's design is really interesting. ghost...bones... incased in ice?? anyway im so glad danny is getting more hugs :)

-oh, they basically worship(?) or put danny on a pedestal because he defeated pariah?? well IM happy for him having more ghosts that are friendly to him :) also, sam and tucker's lil snow jackets...super cute.

-more ghost lore!!! THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE IS A GHOST PORTAL. OF COURSE.

-VLAD ACTUALLY DID GET A CAT AWWW KITTY I WUV U KITTY. who he plays chess with...okay, you know what, thats so valid. and actually, pets are usually actually good for mental health, you have a lil guy to care for and they can give u a reason to try ur best so u can provide for them, and they are always good for comfort...good job, vlad!! next go to therapy. 'if anyone asks, you're my sister's cat!' so does he actually HAVE a sister? can she come beat him up

-sam is Right. they shouldve immediately taken the map back to frostbite! but I get it, exploring Can Be Fun

-'carnivorous canyon' in the ghost zone is just mystery flesh pit

-vlad is going to burn a 14 year old girl at the stake. you know, I half expected clockwork to come up and stop this, because they're fucking with time, BUT. nope. this is nbd, I guess.

-well, blood blossoms are terrifying. I know 'ive never eaten a vegetable in my life!' was tucker being hyperbolic, but this kid is going to get so many digestive problems if he doesnt Start Eating Healthier.

-...vlad wanted to go to rome and be a god?? I want to know where he self-inserted himself in their already established pantheon. what did he say he was the god of??

-VLAD SET THE ENTIRETY OF ROME ON FIRE. SO THEY PROBABLY ASSUME GOD OF DESTRUCTION. GOD OF ASSHOLERY.

-how embarrassing, to swordfight a 14 year old and struggle to win. lmfao they keep running vlad off every place he tries to take over

-what in the world was this episode tho. like..okay?? vlads plans did not make ANY sense to me, like, was I missing something , or. WHY is he so fixated on Ruling all of the sudden...sure he might be power-hungry, feeling powerless can do that and I'm sure the accident/being abandoned made him feel that way, but its always felt like his real end goal was just to steal jack's family out of jealousy and spite, not to like. um,, rule rome I guess. ?? theres No Maddie In Rome, Vlad.
