Hi everyone. I haven't been able to stop thinking about Hazbin Hotel since it came out. I just wanted to get this thought out there and share it with people to see if anyone else has been thinking about it or if it's just me.

So, we all know that Alastor has made a deal of his own, but we don't know with who. I know a lot of people theorize that it's Lilith, and I did too until I watched season 1 again, specifically episodes 7 & 8.

In episode 7, Alastor and Charlie finally make a deal. Alastor told Charlie that the exorcists can be killed, and return, she's going to owe him favors of his choosing in which she doesn't have to harm anybody. I was surprised he didn't want Charlie's soul, but considering she is the daughter of Lilith and Lucifer, Alastor probably didn't want to take the chance of incurring Lucifer's wrath in that way instead of the petty way he did in episode 5.

At first, I was thinking maybe he didn't want it because of a deal he made with Lilith where he couldn't harm Charlie and that's why he's invested in the hotel and in helping her, but then the lyric where he says "she's filled with potential that I could guide" suggests maybe he didn't want Charlie's soul because owning her soul wouldn't be helpful to him in accomplishing whatever he's plotting. Maybe he just really needs her and her power, and by owning her soul, he'd diminish her power. Kind of like with Husk.

Then, in episode 8, the finale song, Alastor has a line that goes "The constraints of my deal surely have a back door." That line in particular is what got me into analyzing Alastor and everything he's done so far. Him saying, or I guess singing, that could possibly mean he didn't make a deal with Charlie to hold it over Lilith. It means he still hasn't figured out a loophole to the deal he made, and I know a lot of people who are on board with the whole "Alastor and Lilith made a deal" theory think the reason he wanted to make a deal with Charlie was to use it to get off of Lilith's leash. But that line he sings could mean that he wanted Charlie to make a deal with him for another reason and that he still has a lot of work to do in discovering a way he could get out of his own.

After all, we are all well aware of the fact that all the songs serve a purpose in moving the story along. Not to mention that they're all freaking bangers. Which is why that lyric has started this whole "What if..." thing with Alastor and the leash Husk revealed he's on.

That being said, it's definitely not a coincidence that he and Lilith were both missing for 7 years, and the fact that Zestial said in episode 4 that there are rumors Alastor "fell into holy arms" suggests that Alastor might have indeed figured out a way to get to Heaven, and perhaps he did meet Lilith while he was there and struck a deal with her.

I'm open to either one of these theories, but I do think it would be kind of neat if I was right and that it turned out Alastor didn't make a deal with Lilith at all, instead it was with somebody else. Maybe someone we've already met, or maybe somebody we haven't.

But regardless of what happens, I love this show and I can't wait for season 2!

Please let me know what you guys think. This thought has been niggling my brain for a while and I just needed to get it out somewhere.

- More of Carmilla and Vaggie bonding and being badasses together

- Angel and Husk becoming a thing

- Learn more about what Lilith and Alastor have been up to while they've both been gone for 7 years

- What Heaven is going to do now that Adam is dead and the Extermination failed

- Also is Heaven or Emily or Sera or ANYONE even gonna ADDRESS the fact that Vaggie was revealed to be a fallen exterminator angel in episode 6?!?! Like I'm sorry but Adam dropped that fucking bomb and the only reaction they showed was Charlie's and nobody even like asked what had happened or why Vaggie was cast out?!?! I'd really like to see something, ANYTHING, that acknowledges this very big reveal to Heaven actually fucking happened lmao.

- Lilith's reunion & explanation to Charlie and Lucifer

- More of our Short King being his nerdy, powerful self

- Lute & Vaggie being toxic exes and/or getting a duet together (a girl can dream lmaoooo)

- Sir Pentious and his adventures in Heaven

- Emily and what she comes up with to help Charlie because she is the true Angel up in Heaven

- Sera getting a fucking kick to the face (or multiple) for letting the Exterminations happen and for all the other hypocritical shit that's been going on

- Everyone's reactions when they find out Sir Pentious has been redeemed

- Niffty being Niffty

- Alastor's plans and what he wants Charlie to do for him because of the deal they made

- Angel & Husk getting out of their respective deals with Valentino and Alastor

- Valentino dying a slow, agonizing, shitty death for what he's done to Angel

- What Keekee being the key to the hotel really means

- More fucking bangers to add to my playlist :)

Childe, Alhaitham, Xiao, Albedo, Kaeya, Tighnari, and Lyney x Gn! Reader.

A list in which the reader is pushing people away and sabotaging relationships, who would stay and who would leave.

This lyric is from Taylor Swift's "The Archer." I really love the meaning and the lyrics behind this song, and I really wanted to write about it. This lyric in specific talks about "Why would someone leave me?" But also "Why would they stay as I'm damaging them?" This lyric goes along with: "I've been the archer, I've been the prey." Meaning She's been the one hurting, but she's also been hurt. I hope you get what I'm trying to say! :)

Warnings: Pushing people away, damaging bonds.

Themes: Angst/Comfort in some parts.

Childe

Childe would stay despite you pushing him away. He knows he can fight through it and get to you. You don't really want to push him away, he understands that. He'll fight it for you, and for himself. He can't imagine losing you, or being pushed away by someone he cares for.

Alhaitham

Alhaitham would leave. As soon as he feels unwanted by you he's gone. He won't put up a fight and put himself through emotional distress for someone who doesn't want him anymore. He won't dwell on it, and he'll move on rather quickly.

Xiao

Xiao would stay. Xiao refuses to lose another person he's become attached to. He doesn't understand why you're pushing him away after everything you've been through. Xiao eventually learns what was happening in your mind, the urge to push everyone away for the sake of yourself. He understood, and he wasn't leaving especially when you truly needed him there.

Albedo

Albedo would leave. Albedo doesn't concern himself with the human mind much, he understands what he needs to but prefers to focus his research on other things. He allowed you to push him away, if that is what you desired then he wouldn't fight you.

Kaeya

Kaeya would leave. Kaeya refuses to be put through the process of being unwanted again. He spent his entire life trying to be wanted, and making a title for himself. He wasn't going to let you destroy him all over again.

Tighnari

Tighnari would stay. It would take him time however. He considered leaving, why would he stay if you wanted him gone? It seemed pointless trying to fight you on it. With that being said, he did fight it. He loved you. He didn't want a future with anyone else. He then understood what was going on and clung onto you harder.

Lyney

Lyney would stay. Lyney worked his whole life trying to get peoples attention. He wouldn't lose your attention. He couldn't. You were what mattered to him. A thousand people's stares couldn't compare to yours. He didn't need to understand what was going on in your head to understand that he wanted you. He needed you. He wouldn't accept being pushed away.

YANDERE!READER IS BACK BABY!! i've been in a mood to write something yandere-themed, so.. yeah, this is a part 2 to these hcs! this time, however, it's just the characters that i wanted to write for and not really the "scariest" or "most weird" twst characters. you can consider this a halloween post too, if you want! (though i'm also working on the actual halloween special post >:3)

♡ it's okay, you will always be here to tell him how smart and talented he is. you will praise him as much as he wants to be praised and you will comfort him as much as he wants to be comforted. he doesn't have to put on a mask when you're around. he doesn't have to make you sign any kind of contract, because you're definitely planning to keep your promise and you really will stay with him no matter what. he's just too fun to manipulate, why would you even think of leaving him?

♡ it's okay, you can just outsmart them. you can manipulate them, you can convince them that they're just not good enough for him. come on, how can they even imagine themselves standing next to vil schoenheit himself? seriously, that's not even brave, that's just stupid. you can just make everyone's self-esteem become so low that they will never even think about trying to confess to vil or even looking at him. oh, but you also have to convince them that whoever vil chooses is the only person who will be worthy of him. i wonder who that person could be..

♡ but of course, some rivals are stronger than others. seriously, what is wrong with his vice dorm leader. this is the guy that spends the most time with vil and also compliments him the most. he's like, his biggest fan here. and.. uh.. trying to get rid of him physically is not a good idea. outsmarting him is also not an option, because this guy is probably not even worried about the possibility of being able to date vil. he just admires him a lot and wants to see him every day and that's all. well, here's the thing.. you want to do exactly that as well, so you need this guy dead.

♡ idia shroud is a quiet, introverted type. the things that he would do so that he didn't have to leave his room at all. idia shroud doesn't remember the last time he had ever touched grass. and he's exactly your type. and you will do anything to make his life easier. he doesn't have to socialize! he doesn't have to leave his room! you will do everything for him, all he has to do is ask! actually, no, he doesn't even have to ask, you always know what he needs. hm? and what does he need right now?.. well.. you, of course!

♡ people say that you spoil him too much, but you can't agree. this is how you express your love for him, what's so bad about that? and idia is just someone who needs a little bit more love than other people do. he's just so fragile, so weak, so.. haha, no, this guy won't survive without you. you know that better than anyone. idia shroud doesn't have to socialize and leave his room. you'll make sure he doesn't do that.

♡ this world is way too scary and dangerous for him! anime, manga, video games, they're so much better than real world! and whenever he has any doubts or wants to ask you a question, you can just say that you want to play with him or watch his favorite show with him and that's it, he won't remember anything that bothered him. he's like a puppet in a way. you don't even have to do much, idia would actually love to have someone that can make decisions for him so that he doesn't have to think about what's going on in his reality. just.. uh.. make sure he gets more attached to you instead of his faves.

♡ you don't know what you did, but wow, you must be a very unlucky person to fall in love with a guy who only thinks about his young master. like you just know that if you ever went on a date, he'd still only talk about malleus. you just know that if you ever got married, he'd still be more loyal to malleus than you. you know how bad your situation is. you know that you deserve better. but you don't want better, you want sebek zigvolt and you will do anything to make him notice you.

♡ "but y/n, you know you can't do anything to malleus, right? he's malleus draconia, he's way too strong-" you don't care. your love for sebek is stronger than malleus's magic. also, who said that you have to use magic to fight him? you can just use your brains. malleus is actually very, extremely lonely and he needs affection. sebek is.. kind of an idiot, so you don't even have to try hard to manipulate him. you just have to ruin their relationship somehow. maybe convince malleus that sebek isn't actually that loyal to him? you know for sure that trying to convince sebek that malleus doesn't care about him isn't worth it: even if malleus really didn't care about him, he'd still walk into a burning house for him if he had to.

♡ you will still find a way to get rid of malleus somehow. you just know that even if this guy's magic is strong, he's actually more weak and vulnerable than he looks like. you just have to say the right word and hurt him so bad, he won't be able to look sebek in the eyes. or you can just try to completely ruin his image. he's already feared by most people, you don't have to do much to turn that fear into hatred. you will find a way to make sebek forget about him and give all his attention to you. you're sure of it.

♡ you don't want to scare him off, so you'll just send him some cute letters first! you know everything about him. you know where he lives, when he'll be able to read them, you know everything about his schedule.. nothing can go wrong. you're sure that he will answer. or that he'll at least read them. and if he doesn't answer, it's okay, you'll give him some time first! you understand that it can be shocking for him to find out that he actually has someone who was created specifically for him, his own special soulmate. you're so kind and patient, hehe~

♡ huh.. still no reply.. even though you've given him so much time.. guess you have no choice but to send more letters. maybe you should be more direct? you know, like, you should be more honest about your feelings! you should let him know that you'd like to go on a date or two, get married, start living together, maybe even start a family, just all normal things that all normal soulmates do!.. okay, you're done with this letter! hehe, you should thank your fellow neige fan for letting you borrow some red ink from them, you have no idea where your pen is.

I love your stories, my favorite would be the Colletion of Overlords, but i have one question, did Alastor and Charlie made the deal in "Hello Rosie" like the show, if it did, did the Reader know? Also did The Reader knows about Adam, Lute, and Lilith, if so, how would they react if they meet The Reader? I can imagine Adam and Lute would be scared or concern,

A bit much to unpack, bear with me.

(1) Did Charlie and Alastor made the deal in "Hello Rosie"? If so, did the Reader know?

Yes. The deal was still made and Reader/you know about it since it happened in Hell (remember, you know everything that happens in Hell).

(2) Did Alastor and Charlie made the deal or not since we own the Overlords soul which mean also Alastor and not him with Lilith/Eve?

Deal's made and the owner of his soul in the show (we don't know who it is, so don't say it's with Lilith or Eve or anyone else here) is changed to you. The purpose of the favour would be changed to something else, more in the sense of Alastor finding you because you were still missing from Hell. His disappearance was to look for you here. He only reappeared because he thinks Charlie can be a tool to seek you out since she is royalty and you are the puppetmaster of the King and Queen (basically Hell).

Check back to Part 1.5, Alastor's breakdown is centered on you disowning him like you did with Husk since there was no way you didn't know about his battle with Adam and the shameful retreat. Another point was his action because of the deal that's made between him and Charlie. The Overlords tend to avoid association with the royal family because they were like your personal puppets. Remember back when Carmilla ignored Vaggie until she threatened to tell the secret? Carmilla let Vaggie in and listened because you gave the green light to help. But Alastor was never given one. So he's scared you'll be angered with his actions.

Now that relationships are more settled, I can change the lyrics

This place reeks of death There's a chill in the air And I barely escaped being killed by a hair "Great Alastor, altruist, died for that Princess' cause"?! Sorry to disappoint! I do not serve you royalty! I'm hungry for your presence, like never before The absence and silence of our deal surely will come to an end Once I figure out how to find My Liege and Saviour Guess who will be still be at your cries?!

After you meet Alastor (in part 1), Alastor tells you about the deal himself because he would rather be honest than wait for you to ask him about it. You don't say anything or punish him, you let him use the favour to his needs or wants.

(3) Did The Reader know about Adam, Lute, and Lilith?

This is a tricky question because the show never actually revealed what the deal was with those three. But it's implied to get Adam out of his commanding role and for Lute to be a higher-up. Because it's a beach in Heaven (somewhere), then you have no knowledge of it, your presence can't be in Heaven nor your eyes and ears. But here's the thing, this is Heaven, and Heaven is under Trick's eyes; Trick is your long-time friend and forever companion; they knows how much you care for your realm and will call in a little meet-up to tell you what happened. That's how you know.

(4) How would Adam and Lute reactions to hear about The Reader watching everyone the whole time?

I wonder if they'll care, honestly, cause you're only a big deal in Hell. Heaven doesn't even know you exist. Even during the time when you ruled Hell (so before Lucifer's fall), Heaven views Hell to be lawless and chaotic, no angel was sent down to check or anything so nothing about Hell was known. By extension, you as well. Why I say would they care if because they don't know what you do or can do. I think their reaction is just someone is stalking them and being nosy. (but your spying only extends to Hell and Earth)

(5) How would Adam, Lute, and Lilith react to meeting The Reader?

Now this is interesting.

Let's start with Lilith cause she's the one among the three that is from Hell and like Lucifer was trained by you to be Queen. We don't actually get her personality or even lines in the show, but I think she's at least more caring and attentive to Charlie? Because she calls Lilith even after Lilith is gone for like 7 years instead of Lucifer until when she really really needs it. So say that whatever Lilith's plan for leaving was for the good of Hell, she can't leave Hell to go to Heaven because you manage it and control entry and exit. Same goes for Trick when it's about Heaven.

So, for Lilith to leave, she has to have been granted permission by you. And that needs to be before your disappearance. I think she talked to you about the plan beforehand so you got the brief knowledge of what's to come. OR Lilith just left for whatever reason without permission and forced her way out of Hell to stay in Heaven. OR (now I'm more into this) Lilith is sent to Heaven as a spy for you. While you have Trick to tell you stuff, you can't exactly rely on them to tell you everything.

Either way, I think Lilith would still be respectful but fearful of you cause of your power. I'm of the opinion that she has no holy powers to threaten you in any way like Lucifer does. She was only human before the fall anyways.

Adam and Lute, this needs to be under the assumption that they know who and what you are. Like they know you're at the top of Hell like there's a top of Heaven. Adam would try to play it cool and joke around so as not to anger you or get you to act. I think there's a little ask where I said you have a hate relationship with Charlie's idea of redeeming souls, so I see Adam trying to convince you that it's a ridiculous idea as well. Lute would be more cautious with you, if you're as powerful as you are, she is no match against you. She'd try to be as respectful as she can when she's in your presence, it's not that she actually respects you, but it's more like she fears your capabilities. You have all of Hell under your command if you wanted, so if you had wanted a war, Heaven doesn't actually stand a chance now that angels can die with their own angelic steel.

It hits number five.

The song about losing, the song Steve helped write, the song with Steve's vocals, hits number five. It's the highest Corroded Coffin has ever gotten on a chart, and it's the highest Steve Harrington has, too.

They're ecstatic, Chrissy is smug, and the record company offers an album.

If, and only if, Steve Harrington continues to work with Corroded Coffin.

Eddie scared himself by saying "yes" first and scared himself even more by agreeing with Steve. But, he reasons, if they're going to be writing an album together, he needs to get the hell over himself.

Easier said than done, but Eddie has always had an "A for effort" kind of mindset.

He's always been the one writing most of the songs. He's always been the one with too many words in his head, always itching for a pen, always thinking in terms of guitar tabs and staff notation when Archie is feeling especially pretentious. Eddie has always done most of it, which has always worked. Jeff helps with lyrics because "I need to make sure you won't make me say anything stupid," Gareth has no interest beyond writing his own drum parts, and Archie, despite knowing the most formal music theory of any of them, doesn't care beyond cleaning it up.

But Eddie needs to write with someone now, and he realizes very quickly that he can't work with someone he hates, or, worse, barely knows.

"Let's play a game," he says, setting down his guitar and kicking his feet up on the couch. He and Steve have long since abandoned writing in the studio and instead decided that Steve's house - a little stucco bungalow with a pool and other cars always in the driveway - would make for a better venue.

Steve scowls when he sees Eddie's feet on the couch, but he stops humming to himself and starts paying attention. "What kind of game?"

"Truth or truth."

"Don't you mean truth or dare?"

"Nope," Eddie says. "Truth or truth. I ask a question, you answer it honestly, then I have to answer my own question. Then you ask, I answer, you answer. Rinse repeat, you get the drill."

"How do you win?" Steve asks, looking up at Eddie from where he sits on the floor.

"You win if you ask a question the other person refuses to answer."

"Sounds like I can just give up as soon as you ask."

"You could," Eddie admits. "But where's the fun in that?"

A tiny, barely-there smile pops up on Steve's face, and that's how Eddie knows he's starting to get somewhere.

Yeah. He's on edge around Steve. He thinks that anyone in his position would be. But Steve is admittedly impressive and mysterious and pretty, and all of that calls to Eddie's lesser instinct to push.

So, the game starts. They exhaust the run of the mill questions fairly quickly; Eddie learns that Steve's favorite color is sapphire, that he used to babysit and lifeguard, that he's from some podunk town in Indiana that he doesn't seem too keen on sharing more about. Eddie, in turn, says that his favorite color is ruby, that he used to work as a mechanic and thought about doing tattoos, that he's from a lot of different places all around Appalachia but the simpler answer is "born in West Virginia, raised in Kentucky."

"Shouldn't you make country music or something, then?" Steve asks.

"Folk's more applicable," Eddie says. "And I grew up listening to it, but I need to make something a little more... all-encompassing."

"I wouldn't say metal's very general."

"No, but when you listen to it, you can't think of anything else but the sound, can you?"

Steve considers for a moment, then nods wordlessly. "Your question."

Eddie thinks. He stares at Steve's twitchy hands, his exhausted face, his slumped posture. And he asks, in direct opposition to his better judgement, "When's the last time you slept?"

He watches, in real time, as Steve's face completely shutters.

But that only lasts an instant. The complete fall, the shut-down, lasts a fraction of a second before Steve completely shifts. He sits up taller, brushes his hair back from his forehead, and looks more alert, less fidgety.

He sobers up, right there in front of Eddie, or at least he pretends to.

"That's a boring question," he says. "Last night."

"You're supposed to answer honestly," Eddie reminds him.

"I am. I slept last night. Seven hours."

Eddie bites his tongue to stave off his instinctual, No, you didn't.

"You're supposed to answer your question now," Steve says once the silence has stretched too long.

"Same as you," Eddie says. "Last night."

Steve scoots closer toward the couch. There's a smug smile on his face, one that Eddie doesn't particularly like.

He thinks he might need a cigarette.

Then, Steve asks, "When's the last time you drank?"

Yeah. Eddie's definitely going to need a cigarette by the time this conversation ends.

"Two years ago," he says because if Steve won't be honest, he will. "August. Indianapolis. I was blacked out. I don't remember anything until halfway through the show the next day. Gareth says he thought about dragging my ass offstage because I was too far gone to tune my guitar until after the first three songs."

The smile melts off Steve's face the more Eddie talks. If Eddie were a better person, he wouldn't find such joy in that.

Eddie isn't a better person. Steve isn't, either.

"Eddie, I-"

"Answer your own question."

"A week ago," Steve says. "I was out celebrating Robin's birthday. Honest."

Eddie believes him. Really, he does. But he's a little bit vindictive, and because Steve shoved him, he has to shove back harder.

"What are you running from?" he asks.

Steve goes completely still. "What?"

Eddie doesn't bother explaining. He knows that if he brings up the way Steve is always a little not here, the way he's fidgety and always too warm, the way he always wears something with pockets that he sticks his hands in, that Steve won't say anything at all.

So, he says again, "What are you running from?"

"I'm not running from anything," Steve says.

"I think I win the game."

Steve scrubs a hand down his face. "Sure. Whatever. But answer your own question."

"Monsters," Eddie says because he's honest.

Steve raises his eyebrows. "You have no idea what monsters are, Eddie."

"Is that what you're running from?"

Steve stares at him again. Eddie watches his hands move in his pockets.

"I need a cigarette," he says, standing up. "You want one?"

Steve shakes his head. "I don't smoke. It stains my teeth."

Eddie walks outside before he pushes further, says something about the fact that Steve is doing way worse than cigarettes and cares more about his teeth than staying alive.

What the hell is he running from?

Eddie hates himself for wanting to find out.

Lucifer AU idea- Rabbit Hole

Y'all know that Rabbit Hole by Miku song with the animation trend? Imagine Luci doing that dance ugh

The song is Angel Dust's first official music video that he wrote after breaking free of Valentino's deal.

Ozzie had offered him a job to Club Ozzie's first Pride ring branch and Angel never felt happier.

He got into music as an outlet for his emotions, releasing 'Addict' and 'Poison' to the public via Al's radio show. (He managed to convince Alastor to do it cos it would make his ratings skyrocket past Vox and Alastor loves nothing more than kicking Vox when he's already down)

After the success of his first 2 songs, Angel decided that maybe the 3rd one should have a music video.

With the help of Ozzie as his producer, the project is a go.

Writing the song was the easy part. Angel wanted it to sound fun but also resonate with his past experiences (just read the translation of the lyrics! The one angel wrote is from this Cover!)

One day, he and Ozzie were brainstorming at the Sin's office at the Pride branch.

Ozzie: Angel, this is your first music video! It must be grand! Showstopping! Jaw-dropping! Never before seen! Revolutionary!

Angel: But how do I do that, big dick boss man? I don't think even being greatest porn star Hell has ever seen will wow people now. I've done lots of things and I can't think of anything else.

Ozzie: Hmmm

Just then, Lucifer enters the office.

Lucifer: Ozzie! Just who I'm looking for. I need you to do some inspection regarding your crystals. I just talked to Belphagor and she said that her team just confiscated a whole ton in some imp warehouse in Greed. I know I don't need to meddle but I wouldn't be worried if it was anywhere else. Who knows what Mammon is doing with those and- oh! Angel!

Angel: Heya, Short king.

Lucifer: What are you doing here?

Angel: I work here, baby~

Lucifer: Oh! I knew that haha. And what's this?

The King of Hell gestures to the board they were using for notes.

Angel: Don't tell anyone, but I'm gonna be releasin a new song and it's gonna have a music video!

Lucifer: Really?! That's great! It hasn't been that long too since Poison, wasn't it?

Angel: Yeah, but we wanna catch these motherfuckers off guard

Ozzie: That's why we're brainstorming how we can wow these desensitised demons. I still think we can do-

Lucifer: Why don't I do it?

Angel and Ozzie blink in surprise at the King's words.

Angel: Do what?

Lucifer: Act! In your music video! You know, instead of you, I'll be the uhhh 'rabbit girl'? Not that- you're uh- not enough I just mean that uhm- I think the last thing they'd expect is the King of Hell a sinner's music video.

Angel: Babe, you do know this would be a not safe for work type thing, right?

Lucifer: Yeah? I know? I know you better than you might think, you know.

Ozzie: You sure? Cos Charlie might see this.

Angel: Yeah. I know I don't wanna see my dad basically naked dancing to music.

Lucifer: You can go through it with her if it makes you feel any better. But I'm up for anything.

The two others in the room just stare at him with their mouths wide open.

Lucifer: But if you don't want I...

Angel: Hell no! We are doing this!

Ozzie: Hell won't know what hit em.

Charlie gave it a green light cos she's so excited about her dad finally socializing and breaking out of his cocoon to really realize what everything is about. Angel wants to record a reaction of the hotel for research purposes.

A few weeks later, the video is done and it's dropped out of nowhere.

Ozzie invited the Sins to the hotel for an exclusive live viewing (he and Angel ofc knew what time it would be released and set the whole thing up)

Everyone sat in the lobby in front of a giant projector (No, Alastor, you can't watch a video on the radio!), and as the clock struck at 9:13 AM on a random Tuesday, the video played.

Let's just say that it certainly did leave mouth agaped and caused mass panic.

I slumped down the hallways. Today was not my day. I had just concluded that 2 out of the 3 children recently submitted into my care, were not going to make it.

“Hey, princess.”

I froze. That nickname. That voice. I turned around and, instead of being greeted by my Prince Charming, I looked into the eyes of the devil himself.

“Josh. Hi.” But my voice only held faux politeness.

“Didn’t you hear? I’m the new Head of Cardio.”

“Really? I wouldn’t say you’re very good handling hearts.”

“Oooo burn. Seriously, y/n, it’s good to see you again.” He places his hand on my shoulder and strokes it with his thumb. It felt foreign now.

“Thank you. It is actually nice to see you too. You’re looking well.”

“You too. You look really good.” He gave my body a brief once over and then landed back on my eyes. I hated how he still had this power over me, that a part of me still felt giddy when I saw him. 4 years don’t just get erased from a person completely, and, even though my body had a bit of muscle memory, my heart still knew its true place was with James.

“You know, I’m new in town. I don’t really have any friends yet so how about we get a drink tonight. Catch up.”

“I would, but I don’t trust you.”

“What do you mean, honey?” he tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear.

“That! That is what I mean. And I don’t want you to try and say I led you on so you should know, I’m seeing someone.”

“Really? Who?” He says giggling in disbelief.

“James Wilson, Head of Oncology.”

“Well, you did always have a thing for head.” I shoved his shoulder, not believing he was talking about me like this in our place of work.

“This conversation’s over.” I briskly left. But as I was leaving, I missed the punch Josh delivered into the wall and the flash of anger that overcame his face.

I arrived to work alone this morning. Y/n had stayed overnight to watch over an emergency patient. I desperately wanted her to come home to a proper bed, promising her she’d have her pager right next to her, but I knew she wouldn’t. That wasn’t the type of person she was.

I walked in carrying the sports bag I’d packed for her filled with essentials: toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, change of underwear, some normal clothes, and fluffy socks to keep her comfortable. I even packed one of those under eye face packs she uses just so she doesn’t feel like her face looks like death.

Before I even made it to my office I was nearly tackled to the floor by House.

“I don’t know whether to congratulate you on your girlfriends body or beat you to death with my cane!”

“What the hell are you talking about?”

“It wasn’t you?”

“What wasn’t?”

“Out of curiosity, did you walk past the noticeboard on the 3rd floor by any chance?”

“No, I didn’t come in that way. Why?”

“I think you better come with me.”

We make our way down to the 3rd floor and House directs my attention to the noticeboard. Many men and a few women are crowded around it, all eyes seem to be directed to a photo. I shove my way past. There I see it. Before I can think of anything else, I rip it down and shout at everyone to get back to work. I storm off to my office.

The door to James’ office was ripped open. I cowered further into the couch afraid of who it could be. My fragile frame was revealed, and his eyes landed on my face. I had stopped crying a while ago, but the tears still stained.

“You know, they always tell girls to go out and have fun but then they just love to hunt the ones who actually do it.”

James went to approach me, “Baby, I am so sorry.” But I held my hand up. “Don’t. Just don’t.”

He relented and sat on his office chair. Affording me the space I so desperately wanted.

We both just sat there in silence. James afraid to speak when I didn’t want him too, and me without the words.

“Do you want to know the story.”

“Only if you feel comfortable to-“

“Oh, stop with the moralistic bullshit, you want to know don’t you.”

He took a minute and looked down. “Yes.”

“Josh, the new Head of Cardio. We dated for 4 years. Once he was going to be away at a conference for a week, so I decided to send him a little something. We’d been going through a rough spell; I guess I thought it would reignite the magic. Instead, I practically signed my own porn contract.”

“I’m really sorry that happened to you,”

“Thank you.” I whispered whilst wiping away my tears.

He mumbled under his breath. “If you hadn’t sent it, he wouldn’t have had anything on you.” My movement halted.

“What?” He looked down sheepishly.

“It’s just logic. If you don’t take it, it can never be out there.”

“Fuck you.” He looked up in shock, I was a little in shock myself.

“Excuse me?”

I stood up and stalked towards him, fury in my eyes.

“You don’t get to sit there all high and mighty, Mr 2 Divorces! I was in a relationship with a man I loved who I trusted and who I thought I would marry! I trusted him with my heart so yes maybe I was stupid enough to trust him with a photo!”

“I didn’t think of it like-“

“I’ve never heard you complaining about anything I send you. Do you open it and get hard, or do you think about how I’ve basically just handed you some revenge porn.”

He was speechless.

“It’s always ‘girls don’t send pics.’ ‘Girls don’t take nudes.’ ‘girls don’t wear short skirts.’ How about ‘guys don’t rape!’ and ‘guys don’t share your girls’ pics.’”

He can’t even look at me in the eyes.

“It’s always people like you who shoot us down and then sigh and say, ‘God she looks like she’s been through it.’”

“I’m really sorry.” I could see tears welling in his eyes that matched the ones spilling out of mine.

“This isn’t even new to me. There is nothing new here, because somewhere in my childhood I went from growing up to breaking down because of men. And you can’t ever understand. Because you’ve never been catcalled on the street, groped in a club. Your mum never told you what to do if a man grabs your hair or where to kick a man if he’s trying to feel you up.”

He stands up and goes to embrace me, but I stop him. “I can’t, not yet. I just need some time.” I leave the office and leave James stuck in his melancholy state. He had just woken up to something new.

Josh smirked to himself as he picked up his patient files for the day. He turned around once he felt a distinctly wooden object tap his shoulder.

“Hi, Josh, is it? New Head of Cardio. Yeah, you’re fired.”

“What? Who are you? The only person who can fire me is Dr Cuddy.”

“You see I’m Dr Cuddy’s new pet, sexual stuff, and she gave me the honour of firing your sorry ass. You see pinning up a naked picture of someone without their permission is not only a fireable offence but also a crime. But don’t worry I came to an agreement with Cuddy, she’d fire you and not call the police if I got to do something first.”

“What do you m—”

His thought was cut off by the end of House’s cane being jammed into his special place.

“Now, I’m going to call the police.”

so- I found this song and decided that I was gonna cave and do a breakdown of the lyrics and why it's c!Icarus coded.

The song chosen is "This Is Love" by Air Traffic Controller.

(THESE ARE ONLY THE LINES I HAVE CODED MYSELF)

This during the season 2 prison duo incident, with Icarus keeping Centross in the prison. Centross saying that Icarus isn’t a good person and so is he, and that Centross should be killed by them based on everything that’s happened.

“I'm an idiot for thinking

This was anything but blood”

Centross again, and still in that prison incident from season 2, where it’s Centross realising the reasons why Icarus was doing what they’re doing. Can also be taken as season 3 current brothers, where Rae is realising what Icarus is doing with Fable.

“You must like being the victim

You've done nothing to get out

Of this pattern of pain”

Icarus still being stuck in the cycle of pain, and sometimes not bothering to get out of it and just moping around.

“You'll forgive me if I promise

And do nothing but the same”

Icarus saying that they won’t do those things again, and yet still doing them again and again, breaking everyone’s trust.

Could be my last dying breath”

Centross saying during the drunk stream that he won’t be around much longer, this turning out to be true from the Cathedral stream.

Each reset, and when a new villain arc happens for Icarus, everyone else has to scatter and try to figure new things out because it didn’t work like the first time.

“Yeah, I know wrong, I know right

But I just love to pick a fight”

Season 3 Icarus saying they know what the wrongs and rights are of what’s happening, but they prefer the fight as a main solution (which the arguably never succeed in)

- Can also be taken for season 1 corrupt!Icarus, how they always fought with everyone except a few (Easton, occasionally Athena, Momboo, etc.)

“If there's any sleep at night”

Season 3 Icarus, and how the nights seemed to be sleepless once Centross died.

Again, can be taken as season 1 corrupt!Icarus, and the fact they never really slept during Ominous bane, or throughout the time of corruption in general until they were broken out of it.

“I got my knife, got my gun”

Corrupt!Icarus talking to Athena (or Ominous Bane) before the Three Strikes stream, and the “knife” being their sword, with their “gun” being their bow (which I believed was named “Gun” in season 1? I may be thinking of another time thought)

“Let’s see how fast you run”

Three Strikes stream, Icarus chasing after Athena and threatening to shoot their arrow at him. (I think that speaks for itself, yeah?)

“You might think that you can hurt me

But the damage has been done”

Icarus talking to Rae or anyone trying to “hurt” them during corruption, saying they can’t be hurt more as whatever damage spoken had already been dealt.

“If I was sorry for my actions

Would I ever stoop so low?”

Icarus saying that if they were sorry they wouldn’t be stooping down as far as some of the things they’ve done. Probably current Icarus/season 3 Icarus.

“I was good but then I quit

Everyone that tried to fix me

Knows that I can't change a bit

I've got no shame, got no pride

Only skeletons to hide”

Icarus saying that they tried to be good, they tried so hard but it ended up in them still being a villain, no matter what everyone did to try “fix” them. Everyone (Icarus and the things + maybe fable and/or coworkers) knows that they don’t change no matter what, and the “skeletons” being those they’ve killed. Momboo, Haley, all the gods, and technically Centross though that was more Fable’s doing.

Visual Effects in Only Friends MV part 2

The second song on the Only Friends OST dropped today; So What? by the amazing Ford Arun. Much like the first MV for Only Friends, this one is also has visual frameworks that made me stop and stare.

Just like my first post on this subject, where I talked about the late 90s/early 00s aesthetic of the show as well as controlled voyeurism (aka we only see what they want us to see), these themes show up again here, but a little differently. Unlike the Let's Try MV and the BTS vids which use multiple different effects and transitions as well as framing a lot of the scenes to look like (possibly) 90s camcorder footage, So What? has two visual effects (I think technically three, and I'll point out why I say it this way in a minute).

The first one is the camcorder footage effect. Except that it's even different from the Let's Try MV. While the Let's Try MV has the "play" prompt onscreen and time stamps, it now, to me, feels more like CCTV video than camcorder video. The video effect on So What? is definitely camcorder footage because it is time and date stamped.

Now, the time and date stamp is February 1st, 2020 at 6:06pm for every screen it appears on, which to me cannot be an accurate date/time for any of the scenes. Several of these scenes were from episodes 4, 5, 6, or potentially yet to air. Chuem drops info about Covid in episode one and in February of 2020, we were so early into the pandemic during that time that I'm not sure she would have referred to it so casually, plus with no Covid precautions being taken onscreen it does feel the show is set currently (aka 2023).

Why this date? Why 6:06pm? WHAT IS JOJO TRYING TO SAY HERE? Is this a specific reference to something upcoming on the show? Is this date famous in Thailand for something? Did he just pull a date and time out of a hat?

Onto the second effect: the yellow text on the screen is back! It was heavily used as a visual effect in episode one, and after a discussion with @ignoranaxed I did add it to my Narrative Frameworks post where I'm tracking visual effects on the show. We discussed whether or not this was an homage or reference to SKAM Norway, an extremely popular coming of age teen drama that had an amazingly done queer season (Season three. If nothing else, stop what you're doing and go watch SKAM Norway season three. You can thank me later). The show was so popular it has been remade in Spain, Italy, France, Germany (named Druck), Belgium (named WtFock), the United States and has even been announced as a Korean (BL?) drama for next year.

Is this an actual homage? I came down on the side of maybe. I can't swear it is, but I can't say it isn't. That yellow text on the screen is iconic due to SKAM Norway, and it is used in every single remake of the show (if Korea doesn't use it, I will cry. Also, if Korea doesn't release/air it in the same way, I will cry). Leaving that aside, the yellow text is in Thai, and as yet, I have no idea what it says because my subs only translated the song lyrics, not the onscreen words. If anyone who knows Thai can help me with this, I would love you forever because there's one other thing that shows up in yellow on the screen, and it's this:

WHY AN ELLIPSES, JOJO? WHAT DID IT SAY BEFORE THIS? I NEED TO KNOW WHY IT'S TRAILING OFF. IS IT TO BE CONTINUED? THE NOT KNOWING WILL DRIVE ME INSANE.

Onto the third , but maybe not really an effect: Is Ford photoshopped in here?

I ask this because if he is (and I can't quite tell but I think maybe?) then does that mean this is future footage coming up on the show? Or, like Let's Try MV did with it's extra SandRay footage in the car, was this just shot for the MV? I'm curious to see what people think on this.

Now for the rest of the MV where I just melt down because WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS DRAMA BETWEEN YO AND PLUG, JOJO? YOU CAN'T DO THIS. Also, is this Sand hugging Yo?

You can't do this to my girl. This will hurt.

Do we think this is Boston and Nick potentially going ice skating or roller skating? Because if it's roller skating, JOJO I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER.

In summary, the visual frameworks are back in play once again and what they're choosing to show and how feel important.

Idk if anyone else in the fandom listens to fun., but I'm a big fan of pretty much the whole Some Nights album. I was listening to it last week (yes, even the Some Nights - Intro, which I don't vibe with) because it was speaking to me in terms of ATLA characters (certain songs reminded me of certain characters).

"But Turtle, Nate Reuss wasn't focused on ATLA when he was writing this album"

Ok, and? I'm gonna have some fun with this!

So here's each song and the character I think it fits (not all are exact fits & not every song is included, but most are)

1. Some Nights - Sokka

"This is it, boys, this is war/what are we waiting for?" feels very Sokka to me, especially since he considers himself a warrior and is the protector of Wolf Cove after Hakoda and the other men leave to fight the fire nation. Also "I still see your ghost" could reference Kya, but more likely Yue, since Sokka says that he sees Katara's face when he tries to remember his mother. The line about the martyr reminded me of Suki. Ok also the "miss my mom and dad for this" line?? Come on. Ok BUT "my heart is breaking for my sister and the con she called love/and then I look into my nephew's eyes" is just SCREAMING a Zutara or Kataang fic of some sort. Come on, right?? It's just begging to be written. Overall, this is very existential crisis-Sokka to me.

2. We Are Young - Katara

Ok so I wasn't fully sure what song to give Katara and it just didn't feel right to leave her out so I deadass just gave her this one like 5 minutes ago, but it still works. It would also be AU-based, but hear me out. I'm assuming y'all are most likely to know this song out of all of them. So Katara's at a bar after breaking up with her boyfriend (Aang) and the Gaang's all here. "My seat's been taken by some sunglasses askin' bout a scar" would be Zuko asking about the scars on Katara's hands that she couldn't fully heal after Aang's firebending accident. "But between the drinks and subtle things/the holes in my apologies/you know I'm trying hard to take it back" feels very Aang to me, especially since he's immature. Then right after, I feel like it switches to a more Zutara vibe for most of the song. Also "the moon is on my side/I have no reason to run" with Katara is such a sick combo omg.

3. Carry On - Zuko

The lyrics are very angsty. "You swore and said we are not/we are not shining stars/this I know, I never said we are" feels like a very Zuko & Iroh interaction to me. And also "though I've never been through hell like that/I've closed enough windows to know you can never look back" !!!! Like that feels very Season 3 Zuko to me. Also, no matter what, Zuko is forced to carry on, whether it's with Ozai, Azula, the Gaang... Although don't get me wrong, Zuko does take back his destiny, but I'm referring more to how he can't give up. Also Ursa tells Zuko and he later says how he struggles and fights, even though it's hard. "And we talked and talked about how our parents will die/all our neighbors and wives" Zuko is very familiar with the concept of mortality, he nearly died and he loses his mother at a young age. I'm sure he worries about when Iroh will die, as well as his friends. I feel like Zuko has a line about people leaving him, but I can't find it. Ok next point "and it's nice to know when I was left for dead/I was found and now I don't roam these streets/I am not the ghost you are to me" is very reminiscent of Zuko's relationship (or lack thereof) with Ozai. Also "may your past be the sound of your feet upon the ground" feels like a very Iroh line. Last point, "on our darkest day, when we're miles away/so we'll come and we'll find our way home" is very reminiscent of Zuko's redemption arc and how he returns home and retakes his place in the line of succession and becomes Fire Lord.

4. It Gets Better - Katara?

Honestly the "yes, I know it hurts at first/but it gets better" reminds me a lot of Katara. I also liked the line about fire in the sky and snow on the ground. Not too much else to say.

5. All Alone - Mai

I really encourage you guys to listen to this song, it was really interesting. The lyrics reminded me of Maiko, especially how Mai seems to not care about anything. The girl's voice reminded me a lot of Mai throughout the series, especially her interactions with Zuko. "I gave her to you/I don't need a toy/I thought you might appreciate it/I don't like the way it moves" reminds me of their interaction when Zuko tries to give Mai the shell on Ember Island. "How do you cry with inanimate eyes/you're never gonna smile/with the way that you're wired" also reminded me a lot of Mai's character throughout the series.

(I really like All Alright, but wasn't sure who it would fit well with)

6. One Foot - Toph

"I put one foot in front of the other" is very Toph, she is a fighter first and foremost. "I don't need a new love or a new life" also feels very her, Toph doesn't care as much about the more material things compared to the rest of the Gaang. I'm sure there's more that can be said about this connection, but I didn't really vibe with the song so much. Sorry Toph.

7. Out on the Town - Aang

Okay, Aang fans, I'm asking you to stick with me here. "Cause I know I'll never take the time/to unpack my missteps and call all of our friends" feels very much like season 3 Aang, where he doesn't face consequences for his actions and Bryke kinda places him on this pedestal of sorts. Also, this is a kataang breakup song to me. The chorus really feels like Aang to me, putting his feelings before those of other people, causing a scene, there being consequences (that he somehow gets out of, but that's not today's discussion). "But I'm waiting for the day you come back and say/'hey maybe I should change my mind'" reminds me of the first 2 times Aang kisses Katara and how he expects her to change her mind on how she feels about him. Also the repetition of "open up your heart".

Overall, I found the entire album to be very Zuko-coded.

You knew that you and Javier wouldn’t be seen as a real couple, two men together “didn’t work”, Javier swung both ways, he could perfectly just marry a woman and live a normal life, but he didn’t. He loved you too much to be able to even think of being with anyone else, he would’ve loved to be able to hold your hand in the street, allowing everyone to see that he was yours, but society wasn’t ready for you two.

But you had both learnt to cuddle at home, love each other as much as possible behind closed doors, in a way, it taught you to be grateful for each other. You’d eternally thank him for pulling you out of your misery, your family had recently disowned you after they had caught you with a man, and after a few months of confessions and being friends you eventually fell for each other. Javier’s job was dangerous, that was no secret, so you constantly tried to live the moment with him, you knew it was unlikely, but in case fate ever decided to take him from you, you had to live the moment with him, he was what kept you going. You had been together for so many nights, you’d moved in with him by that point, he was always next to you when he could, be it just watching a movie or on sex-filled nights, he never left you.

Today he came home and he had a bruise on his eye, “No es para tanto amor” he claimed, but it was no use, you were already taking out the ice packs to put on his eye to make the swelling go down, “You… didn’t need to-” he kept saying as he finally let you take care of him. He was always like this, putting up walls and being stoic when in reality he just needed to be taken care of, even like this, bruised and almost beat up, you thought he was the most beautiful man alive.

“¿Necesitas algo?” you asked him, “Water would be good” he smiled, “I’ll go get it then” you said as you got up to the kitchen to get a glass of water, “Here” you said, giving him the glass, he looked so vulnerable, “Why do you even bother being with me? We’re a same sex couple and my job can get me killed any time,” he said, he always tried to protect you, even if being a couple implied a risk, “Because I live to enjoy the moment, and so far, you haven’t been killed, and living in this moment, in love with you had been the happiest I’ve been in my whole life” you said as you looked him in the eye.

“Well, every time I walked into work before I met you I just said “If I die, no big deal, not like anyone would care” but now… but now I try to be careful, you’re the only thing I’m holding onto” he confessed, allowing his walls to come down, you roped him into a hug, “Mi Javier, mi hermoso Javier…” you said as you kissed his hair, “My life has all the ingredients for it to be shit, but you make it enjoyable” he said as he sobbed into your shoulder, you were now on the bed, holding Javier, “You’re too important to me for you to not have a good time in life,” you reassured him.

“Tengo una propuesta” he said, wiping tears off of his eyes, “Tell me” you said, smiling at him and helping him wipe his tears, “When my eye looks better, let’s go to a restaurant,” he said, “and if anyone says shit about us, I’ll kick their ass” he said half jokingly, half serious, you almost said that was too risky, but… “live the moment” was what you said, and you hated contradicting yourself, “sounds like a plan” you chuckled, “Come here” he said as he kissed your lips softly, “You have such soft lips” you complimented him, “You’re in for an evening full of kisses” “Mmm but Javi-” you started “Hey, I’m the injured one” he joked as he returned to kissing you, yup, you wanted to live the moment.

Using an ex Jikooker as an example to try to disprove Jikook, esp one who went from thinking JK is a couple with his male bandmate, to changing their mind and not even thinking JK's queer anymore is wild as fuck. Can we talk about more important things like jimin? I know it's been days but oh boy, his last live made me feel tingly inside. After weeks and weeks of radio silence I wasn't speculating much about his activities, but it's clear that he's been marinating something. I just can't help but giggle thinking of him sitting down like he always does, like he's 6ft 5 tall and his cock is way too heavy, and just analyzing frame by frame every little thing he did during Face era, and that's classic jimin but at the same time I feel like his demeanor changed yet again? Did anyone else feel The Vibes~? Were the super shy mimi days left behind and there's no need to hide behind Legos anymore? I loved to see that he was able to talk without feeling awkward, and loved to hear him talk about his need to change, gives me the feeling that he's gonna pick up from where he left off with set me free pt. 2. A couple of days ago I was doing some deep cleaning and I ended up going through his photobook again, I still can't believe the way he ATE that, every single concept? Insane. Would love to see him go further and keep exploring that side of him, I want to see and hear a brighter, happier jimin, maybe jimin in love, jimin in lust, so many things, why am I so greedy when it comes to him? That Most Important Thing: Jimin - The sequel. We can and should talk about him.

I did notice a different vibe. Right from the beginning. I don't know how to explain it, but it was as if he was less burdened, compared to the livestreams he did pre Face and during the promotions. The stress must have been really high back then.

Now, it's like he discovered what he has to do, he's doing it and feeling confident about it. Maybe it's an act, putting on a brave face, but to me, he just seemed more carefree. I've seen some reactions, people actually being worried about what he said about starting from scratch because of what the majority of us think it's related to that infamous encore. It might be, I hope it isn't, or that it didn't produce some long term effect on his self confidence. But to me it sounded like instead of wallowing, he picked himself up and went back to work.

Again, that doesn't mean he did a bad job with Face, far from it. We know it would be ridiculous to say that. It's one of the best kpop albums so far in 2023.

I love that it had coherence, a vision. Everything was interconnected and every single layer and element of the album was carefully crafted. Nothing was lacking. It wasn't like there were mediocre lyrics, but a good melody or vice versa. None of that.

The photofolio (again, he ate that. He did more than everybody) and the first album are an indication that he's on an interesting path. What I hope is to see an evolution, taking some steps further, more courage. Jimin plays it a bit on the safer side. He pushes it, but just enough. I want him to just push the limits bit by bit. Because he can and because there's potential.

I liked how you introduced his heavy dick in all that praise. Makes perfect sense in the context.

Mahiru T1 Cover - Psychogram

Here's your pal back again with another cover analysis! Am I getting annoying yet? Mahiru time let's go! Psychogram's a cool song, really unique sounding! And, because Mahiru actually has a lover to sing this to, it makes it easier to connect the song to her!

... We just, you know, have to make sure we don't accidentally make her sound like an irredeemabe insane person. I swear it's not as bad as it looks, believe me, please-

So... Psychogram is about a girl who fits the 'yandere' trope, I don't think there's a better way to put it.

I love you so much You're too wonderful, I don't want to let anyone else have you Hey, if not me, who would you choose? Come on, don't be scared It's just a fable, a what-if If you won't answer, then I don't need you

(Translation)

"Toying with the things that get in our way" may sound weird, possibly due to translation issues, but essentially it means she will easily deal with anything standing in the way of 'their' love, as if they're just playthings.

The word 'psychogram' doesn't really have a consistent definition, but the most applicable is that it's something which describes the mental functioning of an individual. It's used two times in the song.

The first verse has the singer claiming she can see her love interest's 'psychogram' just from their words ("open mouth"), in other words, believing she always understood her partner's emotions perfectly or something along those lines. That's why "it was always going to end this way", because "their color changed when the protagonist touched them", which I believe would imply blushing. Basically, she thinks her interest has always been in love with her.

It's so heavy, it gives me a shock Come on, tie me up tightly You'd better eat every last bite Of the sweet, sweet psychogram

The other case has the singer offering her partner her own psychogram to 'eat', meaning she wants them to accept her as she is. And I'm choosing to strategically ignore the "tie me up tightly" line.

And just in case you're worried I'm reading the lyrics uncharitably, the song ends with the singer killing the other.

I love you so much You're too wonderful, I don't want to let anyone else have you Hey, if not me, who would you choose? Come on, don't be scared It's just a fable, a what-if You won't answer, huh? You're disgusting Come on, don't be scared I'll never let you go

So, uh. Yeah, that's the basic premise of the song. Which is, uh... not a great look for Mahiru, gotta say. I see why the "yandere" interpretation of Ai Nan Desu Yo was so popular in Trial 1.

In any case, what's important to take away from Psychogram in relation to Mahiru aren't the actions the protagonist takes, but rather the feelings they have for their love interest. Going line by line, we first have the idea it was always meant to be and wanting to fully understand their lover, their 'psychogram':

It was always going to end this way [1] Is your color changing because I touched you? From your open mouth, a face appears A sweet, sweet psychogram [2]

[1] [Love is (Un)Dead] (T2 VD) Mahiru: I thought it was fate. He said it was, too.

[2] [Ai Nan Desu Yo] This is a claim of responsibility From the two of us with matching love Wanting to know everything about you, but wanting to die because it can't come true It's all because of love

The relationship is tumultuous and the love is too much.

"What is that face you've never shown to me?" Hey, let's make it sting "When will you give in and be my friend?" Hey, let's make it sting [1] There's nothing here but foul words They swallowed me up I get it, I get it I agree, there was enough love in the first place [2]

[1] [Ai Nan Desu Yo] We fought sometimes, I was happy to get hurt Let's have matching pain, this sickness is pretty bad

[2] [I Love You] My love, it scored an own goal, destroyed my love and me with its weight

Overwhelming love which is scary or inconvenient for the partner (please ignore the murderous undertones in Psychogram)

[I Love You] This can’t go on, something’s got to give, I even love saying the words, “I love you” My emotions are out of control, that’s inconvenient? I don’t care!

Wanting to be accepted fully as they are.

Uh... calling?

[Ai Nan Desu Yo] Ring ring, I'm calling you in the middle of the night Forcing you to wake up, and I say "Good Morning!"

Not wanting to separate ever, even when they apparently drift away sometimes.

[Ai Nan Desu Yo] If you don't hug me, even our hearts will start drifting apart. [...] Even when I test you, even the times we do the breakup ritual, Is because I love you

You see? Again, I don't feel like I have to elaborate on the connections beyond putting similar lyrics next to each other, since the connection is pretty straightforward if you ignore the murderous tendencies. One other connection is the love interest winds up dead as a result of the protagonist's love, which again directly connects to Mahiru and I don't think I need to really explain.

The final thing to note is that last line, "I'll never let you go", which in the video plays when the partner is already dead. This could play into the shinju (double suicide motivated by love) theory of Mahiru's "murder", which is too long to get into here, but if you want to read more about it, you can do so in this amazing post by dearmahiru. I personally find it quite likely, it's very interesting!
