My festivities were cut short because I was really tired, and my head was buzzing. I was going to walk back to my hotel room, which was also a great time for me to think this race over.

On my way, the streets were peaceful until I heard a rustling in a nearby alley. I instantly envisioned the worst. What could be hiding in there?

My heart started to quicken in my chest as curiosity got the best of me and I approached the sound carefully. I could make out the sound of... A meow?

I fastened my pace and sure enough, a cat was waiting there for me. It meowed loudly, almost smiling as it rubbed itself on me.

The cat was probably nearing adulthood, and was a bright orange. A little white spot under its chin was the only thing keeping the coat from a perfect amber colour.

" Well aren't you cute!" I say to the cat, lifting it in my arms.

The cat only purred and closed its eyes. No collar on the cat... Surely I could keep it? A little gift from Italy for winning the race!

" Oh my god I know what your name's gonna be. Monza!" I declared with a huge smile.

The cat meowed contently. I put him down, and suddenly Monza was following me. We both walked to my hotel, and when we arrived there i looked into my fridge to get something to eat. Mozzarella sticks would do the trick.

But, as soon as i opened one up, Monza looked at me with the biggest puppy eyes. I caved in and gave him some. He ate the thing up in half a second and purred.

"Monza likes Mozzarella apparently..." I giggle, my eyes bright.

Monza was now following you everywhere you went. It was very cute, but kind of sad when he tried to leave with you to go to the French Grand Prix. 

You did a last checkup of everything you needed and went to the door. Monza wasn't there anymore, so you took the opportunity to quickly leave before he came back.

You arrived at the track a bit later than usual, so most of the drivers were already there. You went into the garage and waved at your team with a smile.

Free Practices were coming up, so you had to get your head in the game and check the tests you were going to run in that session. You dropped your bags and sat down at the computer.

Charles was feeling Ferrari's pressure more than ever, and he felt like being rude to everyone today. Even Carlos, who was constantly trying to cheer him up.

He decided to go take a walk to clear his head.

He was so immersed in his own thoughts that he almost tripped over something orange. Orange?

He look down and saw a cat. What the hell was it doing here?

"Wait... Is that not Y/N's cat?" thought Charles.

She kept posting it on social media... The little spot under the chin, how could it not be hers?

He decided to pick the rather small cat up, because it's a very dangerous place for an animal to be in.

The cat immediately clung onto Charles' shoulder and snuggled his head in the Monégasque's neck. He chuckled softly.

Leclerc decided to head to the RedBull garage to see if Y/N was searching for Monza. With one hand over the cat's back, he head off.

A lot of mechanics were staring at the Ferrari driver walking right outside their garage with a cat on his shoulder.

You finally appeared around a corner.

You looked at Charles with a puzzled expression, then a shocked one when you saw the cat that was now half sleeping on him.

" What?? What are you doing here..." you say, talking to the cat more than him.

"I found him near the pitlane and I thought it'd be safer to bring him back to you." Leclerc explains.

" Thank you so much I'm so sorry I don't- I don't even know how he got here." You say, bewildered.

You then reach out to take the sleepy kitty, but when you pull he doesn't budge. Monza's claws are deep into Charles' race suit, and you have trouble removing Monza from him.

" Oh my fucking god you don't even know him." You scold Monza, still tugging at the peaceful cat.

" Here, let me." Charles starts.

" Oh like it's gonna work with you." You say rolling your eyes.

He ignores you and pulls on the cat. His claws only tightened their grip and he didn't want to hurt the cat, so he stopped and looked at you.

You sighed.

" Come with me, I have string cheese in my room. And close your eyes, Ferrari boy. You're not supposed to be seeing all of this," you say, leading him by the hand because of his closed eyes.

You guys arrive there and Charles' hand lingers in yours. He closes the door behind you guys. You don't question it and instead head for the mini fridge.

As soon as you open the string cheese, Monza is on the ground, purring happily.

Leclerc can't help but laugh.

You smiled a bit, only just remembering the sound of his genuine laughter.

" He's a silly guy. Found him on the side of the street and he loves Mozzarella."

When Monza is done with the cheese, he's instantly back to Charles' feet. He chuckles and pets him. A heavy silence had seized the room, and it seemed to be bouncing off the walls by how loud it was. Charles puts an end to it.

" It's not a good idea." He suddenly looks up at you.

" What?"

" You and Max. And you know it." He says accusingly.

" It's none of your business. I like Max and he likes me. I'm not gonna stop myself from dating someone just because we're both drivers." You say half truthfully.

Charles stares at you intently, a tint of darkness in his usual bright eyes.

" It's not healthy."

"It's not your problem."

Charles looks at you one more time before opening the door, and he looks back over his shoulder.

" It won't end well. You know it." he seriously states, shutting your door and leaving.

hello!! its been a while since ive posted but here i am!!! so this game is Dead Plate created by STUDIO INVESTIGRAVE

i had played one of their games before, Elevator Hitch, and i really really enjoyed it! so im very excited for this new game that theyve released

though, this game is probably really different from Elevator Hitch, because that game was a visual novel type of game while this one has restaurant tycoon gameplay

still, im very excited

HIIIIIII RAXZ <333 love the cute little drawing i have attached my own. i would say i am happy i moved a little further away bc it has allowed me to become more independent and really branch out and meet new people but there is a lot to consider... i think costs of travel are super important to think abt, my trip is only abt 3-4 hours and costs me under £20 each time which is very useful as a girl who loves to go home at every opportunity LOL. taking a gap year after u graduate if u arent sure where u wanna go/what exact degree u wanna pursue/if uni is for you is a good option u shouldnt rule out, it can be super good to have the extra time to work or research and i honestly wish id taken one lowkey. if u do decide to go straight away do not drop out in the first semester unless u are 100% sure it isnt for you… bc i almost did when my mental health was super bad and now im sooo glad i didnt LMAO. going to uni is a really tough change but it does kick you into a new stage of development and i have loved my experience so far (Apart from the past term which has been the worst few months of my life but that has nothing to do with uni) :3 also i would say 100% pick something you really enjoy, doesnt have to be tailored to ur ideal career (but that helps if u have it figured out already), i did that instead of picking something more practical and i genuinely love all my classes and essays so so much!! he always eats his yakiniku a little bit undercooked because he’s way too impatient to wait for it to cook fully. who do you think he is??

whenever he cloud gazes with shikamaru, when asked what he thinks a cloud looks like, he just says some sort of food

“a... yakiniku grill... with... pineapple rings on it! ooh, and a wagyu steak right there!”

he thinks pringles are an abomination to society. where’s the crisp? where’s the grease? where’s the saltiness?!!!

asks ino to teach him how to do his hair all fancy and the two of them devote an entire day learning different hairstyles

it’s his new favorite thing to do now :D

speaking of, i feel like he lives for spa days and facials

seriously he has PERFECT skin. flawless. not a single blemish. his cheeks feel like baby butts they’re so smooth.

i feel like he’d be a god at solving rubik’s cubes, don’t ask me why

CAT PERSON!!! loves the little meow meows

who are we kidding, neji basically is a cat; agile, aloof, does silly things without trying to, very cute

he just feels akin to the little fuzzballs and he thinks petting cats are extremely therapeutic. good for the soul

he is a golf man. he would take his juniors golfing and everyone thinks he’s uncool. cmon neji let them go to the skate park at least T-T

also very good at karaoke, definitely surprised everyone once he got a few drinks in him since he started serenading you

LIGHTWEIGHT!!! do not get more than one shot of alcohol in him. he will go berserk.

i also feel like he’d really love photography; not taking pictures of people, but of nature

he loves taking a quiet stroll through a pretty forest and snapping pictures of all the unique flora and fauna

has THE prettiest handwriting. and she can write SUPER fast

it’s like a superpower

like she transcribed five pages of a report in less than two minutes with perfect handwriting

naruto is so jealous.

she is also super good at origami! those diligent, accurate hands aren’t just for throwing things

taught sakura how to make shurikens but does NOT endorse any violent uses of them

she can replicate all of her weapons with paper and they can actually function, it’s so cool

made paper kunai knives one day and the wholeee village wanted to get their hands on them

i feel like she’d listen to mitski. idk i just get those vibes

LOVES BIG DOGS!! especially fluffy wuffy samoyeds

like man’s best friend?? no, GIRL’S BEST FRIEND!!

hugs and cuddles and squishes all the big dogs

she thinks small dogs are spawns of satan

sakura and her have definitely quarreled over this

but at the end of the day, all dogs are adorable fur babies, so she lets it slide :,)

KIBA

kiba always looks SO GOOD in photos you take of him, candid or not

like you could just whip out a camera and snap a photo of him at any given moment and he would look perfect

you framed a picture of him yelling at akamaru for peeing inside the house

i feel like he tries to swagger around with his hands shoved in his pockets but it fails MISERABLY and the girls are wondering if he broke his leg or something 😭

kiba just walk normally. for the love of god please just walk normally.

he tries to slump back in his chair really low but one time he slouched way too low so he slipped off of his chair and onto the ground LMFAOOOO

he just wallowed there... in shame...

also.. he LOVES when the girls put makeup on him!!

he tries to act like he hates it. but it secretly gives him so much confidence

not to mention the girls hyping him up are a huge ego boost

okay the inside of his jacket hood is the warmest. thing. EVER!!!

seriously, no wonder this dude is so happy-go-lucky all the time, he’s living in literal heaven 24/7

it’s like you’re sleeping on a cloud inside a warm, cozy bed during a cold winter morning

10/10 would recommend letting him give you his sweatshirt when you’re chillin with a hair tie ❤️

HINATA

always smells like lavender soap. always

also has the cutest pencil pouches with little puppy faces and kawaii things

oH and she has those mini yoobi highlighters, she thinks they’re so cute (and functional!)

everyone flocks to her to try them out and marvel at the cute tiny highlighters

and they try to steal them from her but she doesn’t even stop them because she’s too timid to 😭

naruto goes BALLISTIC over them

she lets him have all of them <3

tennis girl!!! tennis girl.

all of her opponents always underestimate her because she’s so timid and shy and quiet

but she has a KILLER serve

and then she takes her opponents to the slaughterhouse with a complete shutout ;)

she’s really athletic believe it or not, she can beat most of the boys in a mile run and she has incredible endurance

i feel like she really loves velvet scrunchies

she just thinks they’re so pretty and they keep her hair soft so they’re cute and functional

also takes the PRETTIEST notes!!

I remember really well the first time I saw a post of yours, I was still lurking back then and the moment I read it I felt so many things, things I don't know how to describe and that I never thought words could make me feel and I knew, I just knew that I had to see more. Fast-forward a couple of hours I knew your blog by heart, I had looked at so many of your posts and every single one was as amazing as the first one, as touching as the first one and as deep as the first one.

The meaning you put on words still gets to me every single day, you have such a way into them and don't even get me started on your music analysis. The moment I read the first one I was mind-blown! The things you catch, the connections you make between the music and the scene, the way you describe the scenes, it makes me go back, relive the moment and feel everything I felt the first time I watched it and all this just by... reading your words! If that doesn't tell me how amazing you are with them I don't know what will.

From that day I always wished I could talk to you, get to know the person behind the words, behind the masterpieces, behind the blog because you seemed like such a sweet person and now... After some time, I got that chance and I'm so happy I got it. You are everything I thought you would be and 1000x more, you are sweet, caring, smart, loving, wise, joyful and so supportive to me and to everyone in this community! You always spread love and that's so important and so nice of you to do, the way you write essays in the tags for everyone's posts just shows that! It's such a simple thing but means so much.

And I'm not even mentioning how talented you are with non-written posts because those are on another level aswell, I mean you always surprise me with your ideas and creativity and just knowing that whenever I come here I will have some sort of attack waiting for me just keeps me going and I love everything you do so much.

I was so amazed by it, because I could imagine how much time it takes to make it and observe every little detail in a single clip. Who is she and how do I become her friend? After that second post, I immediately started following you and became your little fangirl. I don’t lie when I say I was waiting every week for a new update of your incredible music analysis nor when I say I loved every single one of them (and still do). I know I already said this a million times, but your words of telling what was going on in every clip, about the emotions present in them, and how the music blended all of it together… No one, and I mean no one could have done it any better! I will forever be grateful for those posts and I want to thank you once again for wanting to share them and your talent with us!

After the music analysis adventure, your picture edits catched my eye. I love them so so much and I also took some creation of it for making some myself. Still, I was this little fangirl, knowing your name is Cille, but also wanting to know so much more about the person behind one of my favorite blogs. And now, during this hiatus, I can say I’ve got to know you and I couldn’t be any happier about it! okay so idk if you watched/are planning on watching falcon and winter soldier but i watched the first episode the other day and they were speaking french (just a few seconds) and I UNDERSTOOD SOME WORDS DLDJDJ and i was so proud of myself. i‘ve only ever learned french with duolingo lol (i only do like 5 mins a day and that‘s why i was so surprised that i understood some of it!!). and yeah apart from latin i feel like italian, german, french and english are all similar in a sense.. i mean obviously they‘re completely different languages but for example there are some grammatical constructions in french that i think i wouldn‘t understand if i only spoke english? so when i translate those things into english you can‘t directly translate them bc you say things differently, but when i translate them into german then it makes more sense to me. idk that‘s something i noticed so i feel like if you already know multiple languages it‘s easier to learn another language compared to if you only know one language and are trying to learn a second one. even if the languages aren‘t similar then i think you get the hang of it easier.

ikd slsjsjs also i don‘t want you to think that i‘m a linguistic genius or anything lmfao, like i‘m only fluent in english and german and i‘m just a wannabe (ew that word) polyglot sksj (yes i had to google polyglot— i do think learning ancient greek would be super cool tho? like imagine studying latin AND ancient greek, whew). and honestly i don‘t think i‘ll ever be fluent in another language bc i don‘t plan on living anywhere other than germany or possibly england and i‘m not dedicated enough to properly learn any other languages esp if i don‘t have anyone to speak the language with. but i still try my best and i just love language/languages as a whole so yeah i‘m happy & just learning as much as i can dkdjh🥰

hello!!!!!

haven’t posted anything in a long while and i decided to post one tonight before i sleep bc i feel guilty for not updating farhan’s newspaper hahaha. i’m also waiting for my hair to dry a little so yeah kill two birds with one stone!

my eyes are super irritated now btw like the right eye esp wtf i kept rubbing at it bc it feels like there’s smth in my eye and i HATE rubbing my eyes bc it’ll give you wrinkles and break all the capillaries around your eyes causing dark circles like mine is alr dark enough i don’t need it to be any darker. like i think it’s bc of my contacts?? a sigh that i must change my lenses alr pls sponsor me bb degree 500/500 brown or grey lens i’m ok hahahaahahahah. ok so i will try to summarize today as fast and as short as i can even tho i like to type everything down in details so that future me and future farhan may be able to recall memories easier but das ok we gotta be quick

ok so today i called farhan around 230pm cus i had a feeling he slept quite late ytd since he was woken up from his sleep. and i thought 230pm ok la can la not too early not too late cus he has to shower and prep and come over to my area as well. after some calls he finally picked up and then it changed to a video call? he has been video calling me a lot these days like instead of the usual normal calls and i’m not complaining tbh hahahaha i actually love it cus i get to see his face even tho we’re not physically together but i look damn ugly ah so sometimes i’ll not put my face in the camera damn stupid i know cus it’s not like he hasn’t seen my face in its worst condition like back when my acne were literal cysts and he still stayed and didn’t leave but hahaha these kinda insecurities will take a looooooong time for it to go away one la hais anyway ok sorry back to the story of the day!!!

wtf sorry if the paragraphing is weird ah or if got long gaps cus i’m typing w my phone n idk why it’s not letting me like just down space once small little paragraph space but ok nvm let’s not bother about that lmao. ok so then i got ready and did my hair and i’m kinda regretting cutting bangs the other time cus my hair got used to the long fringe that now my bangs curl up if i don’t use hair straightener or if it got wet or if i sweat like it doesn’t stay straight down so sad. then picked out my outfit in my head but i was still wearing home clothes when he came over cus i thought i should wait before i change since we haven’t technically decided on where to go and i rly didn’t wanna sweat before we go out. then we laid in bed for a bit and farhan was being such a cranky old man i just wanna give him a loving punch but i didn’t ofc. then i changed and wore this super cute outfit with my windbreaker and i actually rly like what i wore wth like it’s cute ok but there he was judging my outfit 🙄 annoying pe hahahaha cus it was so hot out and for me to wear a wb like a bit crazy ah so we went out of the house n all then i forgot my damn mask again cb i cannot sia always forget nowadays like can they just lift the rules alr. so i went back to take and then i was like fak i cannot i gotta change into smth less hot bc it rly was so damn hot outside like it looks like it’s cloudy n was boutta rain but no sia so panas gila so i changed into this little ahpek blouse which tbh is one of my fav vintage blouse that i own. i like the fit of it it’s oversized but not too crazy oversized that it just looks weird. i asked farhan and he said it just looks like when someone had sex and then borrowed the man’s shirt to put on and i feel like wow that’s actually quite hot sia mcm give me a bit of an extra boost of confidence liddat lol but anyway ya besides the point.

then after that we went to tampines and had saap saap thai for our lunch. it was niceeee since we haven’t been there in a long while so the food was great at least imo la. but the chilli pedas gila but i think quite shiok ah. the soup if not spicy not nice or like still nice but not as nice if it’s not spicy. but i’m a noob so i put like hujung je the chilli hahahaha farhan put like half sia gila. we also had milk tea and green milk tea which was initially farhan’s but we swapped bc the milk tea was too sweet for me. then after that we went to nine fresh!!!! my top fav bbt shop currently bc of the rly interesting toppings u can put. i think next time i wanna buy 0% ah cus i feel like the 25% like quite sweet sia idk why or maybe it’s bc the toppings alr sweet so when it’s mixed it feels like there’s double the sweetness. then after that we went to this korea mart. shine korea i think but wtf i feel like the shine korea like....... idk sia they don’t have a lot of variety and they don’t sell loose packs like how i feel most korea mart actually sell loose packs of instant noodles. i still like the one at bedok maybe next time i’ll head there to buy the items i need and cook smth for farhan 😂 even tho it’s just instant noodles but i learned a recipe on how to enhance the noodles and make it taste professional looooool so i rly wanna try making that for us to eat next time. oh and i’m so happy that farhan enjoys my wrap!!!!! this would be a story for another day.

then after that decided to head back since there weren’t anymore korea marts around. i had to withdraw some money for my mom first so we did that then walked back to where he parked his bike. then upon reaching home we just rested up for a bit. watched some videos and all. and i just wanted to sleep idk why when i’m laying on his chest or like shoulder i feel sooo comfy i legit just wanna sleep. but as time kept ticking we decided to head outside to lepak since we’re not married yet perhaps he felt like it isn’t good or nice of him to stay in the house till late but idk i think my dad was kinda distracted with soccer to even care much today so i felt like we could have stayed longer if we wanted to and omg leh my stomach rly said hello go berak so many times to me today walao i think 3 times? but good la hais i’m so constipated sia my bowel movements damn irregular annoying sia and unhealthy hais. then when we were outside it started pouring!!!! at first not so heavy but it got heavier throughout and it felt so nice!! and i know farhan can’t do this often but he stayed till like 5am before he left and it just brings back that memories of when he would stay till late just to keep my company and spend more time with me.

i forgot to wish him happy monthsary before he left and he just wished me now as i’m typing this i want to reply him so i’m just gonna end the post here okay hehe goodnight!!

Zabdiel: Sightseeing as much of Puerto Rico!-several hours and stops

It’s your first time visiting Puerto Rico and Zabdi is sooo excited for his amor to explore his island with him

Neither of you slept much because y’all stayed up late going over your route plan for the 10th time

He wakes up earlier than you to make breakfast

Brings it to you in bed like the gentleman he is...but you’re two bites in when he starts rushing you out of pure excitement lol

You ask him to pick out your outfit bc 1.) he knows the weather and activities so he can dress you appropriately and 2.) you want him to enjoy EVERY little thing about your trip...he thinks this trip is about you but to you it’s all about him, seeing him so happy and excited makes your heart melt UWU BITCH 😭

Your first stop is to get snacks obvio

He takes you to all the cool spots close to his house to get them out of the way *insert small photo shoot*

The next destination is about an hour away so cue the carpool karaoke!!

Of course he’s singing like an angel on Earth and well let’s just say you were not that impressive YIKES

You got videos of both but only the ones of him are posted so you can keep some of your dignity lol

Zabdi being Zabdi, he randomly pulls over to the side of the road, jumps out of the car, picks a pretty flower, and gives it to you, “una belleza pa’ mi bellisima novia”

Joel: Disneyland!-Hesperia to Disneyland-under 2 hours depending on traffic

It’s Christmas time and it’s your first year spending it with Joel and his family (ok but who wouldn’t want to spend it with them?! It looks so fun!)

They all find out you’ve never been to Disney and it’s like a bullet to the chest to them LMAO

Soooo Joey has taken it upon himself to take your Disney virginity lol

He likes to be very organized so of course he made a list of which rides y’all are gonna go on and in what order

He makes sure you’re all asleep at a good time bc he knows how you get if you don’t get enough sleep lol

You two wake up a little earlier to help his mom make sandwiches and snacks for the journey

Since there are so many of y’all going you have to take two cars, his mom driving one and him driving the other

He asks everyone for songs to add to the playlist he created and y’all jam tf out

The music is so loud his mom has his little brother call you and tell y’all to TURN THAT SHIT DOWN cause they can hear it from their car OOPS

When you make it there, barely alive bc Joelito decided to get distracted by some freakin birds...yea...birds... you’re a little worried if his plan will work because it’s PACKED, I mean c’mon what did he expect around Christmas

He knows it too and he has a sad little pout on his cute face making you sad too because who wants to see this baby sad???

He just wants this to be the best first experience

What he doesn’t realize is that you could literally just sit in silence with him and you would be over the moon

You spend the day, holding hands, walking around, riding the rides, just having an amazing time

Richard: Universal Resort!-Miami to Orlando-3 ½ hours

This papi wants to take his 2 girls out for a fun weekend, and where can you have fun all day without getting tired..? UNIVERSAL!! (not that I would actually know bc i’ve never actually been LMAO)

The 3 of you are beyond excited, although you might be a bit more excited than Aaliyah, but shhh no one has to know

The night before, you sit in Aaliyah’s room, asking her about certain outfits before putting them in her little ‘going-away-bag’, before tucking her into bed, not noticing that Richard has been watching with a smile on his face, until you hear him walking towards his baby girl to kiss her goodnight OOF

You guys then move to your room to pack your stuff

We all know he would take longer to pack his stuff because “this shirt matches these pants, but so does this one...i’ll take both...but what shoes tho?”

Since you’ve been so excited you already mentally planned your outfits lol and maybeee,just maybe, you bought 2 new swimsuits that you know he would drool over

You’re already in bed by the time Rich is finally done, you’re halfway asleep when he gets into bed so he just kisses your forehead and plays with your hair

In the morning, you get up a few minutes earlier than planned so you can make a few sandwiches and a few other snacks, but you already know they’re gonna be gone within the first hour so a pitstop for food is a must lol

CNCO is playing the entire ride because Aaliyah wants to hear Papa sing, but who are you kidding, you want to hear your angel sing too

When you finally get to Universal you quickly get to your room and leave just as fast as you got there lol

Y’all spend the entire first day going on rides and just walking around admiring all the beautiful things

You and Richard are both half asleep on the way back to the room, and Aaliyah is asleep in his arms

The next morning (almost lunch because y’all wore yourselves out lmao) you have brunch in bed and watch a movie for a while before getting ready to go to the pool!

Let’s just say that your man’s jaw drops real quick, and he most def can’t keep his hands off of you

You spend a few hours at the pool, enjoying the water and the sun before heading back to the room to take a nap before dinner

Y’all were going to a somewhat fancier restaurant so you spent a bit more time doing your hair and makeup before putting on a beautiful dress

You then get Aaliyah into her dress and you do her hair all cute and shit while Richard is finishing getting ready

After dinner comes desert obviously so back to the park you go to find some ice cream!

You quickly but thoroughly enjoy it before heading back to the room to change into comfy clothes for the drive back home

A/N- This story was taking wayyyyyyyyyyyyy to long for me to figure out and I kind of hated how it was always ending out, so I decided to make two parts for this story. Sorry that it’s taking me so long to post and create things for this blog.   “Shit shit shit...” you repeat as you push your way through the busy crowd. You woke up past your alarm again and you were on the brink of being late to work. If you were, you knew your boss would have your head... probably hanging in her office.

Finally, you reach the shop you work at right on time. You speed walk into the shop while trying to catch your breath.

“Glad to see you made it, Y/L.” Your boss said with one of the fakest smiles you’ve ever seen.

“Wouldn’t miss it for the world, Cheryl.” You return, with your own fake smile. You continue walking to the back so you can place your belongings away. Your co-worker and best friend, Mary Austin, walks up beside you also putting her own things away.

“Good morning dear. How are you today?” She asks in her kind voice. How she always seemed to be happy in the morning beats you. You hate mornings with a passion.

“Could be better honestly. Neighbors kept me up all night with their ‘amazing’ sex.” You grumbled back to her.

“Sounds like your jealous, Y/N.” She said while laughing. You two turn to look at each other, but you notice how her smile dies when she looks at you. “Y/N you look like you haven’t gotten sleep in days!”

“Is that your nice way of telling me I look like shit?” You tell her jokingly, sticking your tongue out. You pull out the little compact mirror in your bag to look at yourself, and well... hot wasn’t what you would describe yourself as. You still had bed head, the corner of your eyes were filled with eye boogers, the side of your mouth is covered in dried up toothpaste and of course the bags under your eyes were very prominent. Looking at this you sighed and cleaned up what you could before heading into the front with Mary to start your shift.

After hours of dealing with rude customers and boss, your shift had finally ended. All you were dreaming about was going home to have a nice hot shower and after laying on the couch with a glass of wine. Then, when the sun had finally set you’d go to sleep and have a fresh start in the morning.

“Excited for Freddie’s gig tonight?” Mary said beside you. Internally, this made you groan. All you wanted was to go home and rest, but you had promised both Mary and Freddie that you would be at his next gig with his band.

“Of course I am!” You tried to put on your best act. You knew there was no way of getting out of going to the gig tonight, so you knew you might just as well go.

“Good. I’ll see you later!” Mary said, waving goodbye and going off into a separate direction.

Hastily, you made your way home to freshen up with a shower and change of clothes. Looking in your bathroom mirror, you felt good in the way you look. You looked tired still, but more put together now, especially with your hair being tamed down to its natural state. With one last nod, you headed out for the door and to the venue Freddie’s band is playing at.

As soon as you walk into the pub, you’re immediately hit with the stench of beer and cigarettes. You’re not the least bit surprised at how busy and crowded the the pub is. Mary had told you loads of stories on how the crowds were starting to build up and become crazier. Immediately, you spotted Mary’s blonde hair and make your towards her.

“Busy night isn’t it?” You say once you reach her.

“Oh good you’re here!” She ignores your question and instead embraces you in a hug which you gladly return “I think this is the biggest crowd they’ve had so far.” She says pulling back.

“By the looks of it, seems like they’re gonna go places. Especially since they have Freddie.” As soon as you said that, the crowd started cheering. You turn your attention to the stage and see Freddie and his band mates stroll onto the stage like they own the place. Once he got up to the mic, he starts interacting with the crowd like you’ve never seen anyone do before.

“Hello all you beautiful faces out there. How are we tonight?” The crowd cheers back to answer Freddie’s question. You stand there with the biggest grin on your face, enjoying every second of how the crowd loves him as much as you do.

Once they all started playing their songs, it’s like your grin got impossibly bigger. The whole band was incredible; Freddie’s voice was amazing as always, the guitarist was playing flawlessly, the drummer was radiating confidence off his body from feeding into all the yells and cheers girls were throwing at him, And the way the bassist easily played and maybe even danced every once in awhile was definitely eye catching. They were all amazing.

Sadly, the gig had ended way too fast. You could’ve watched them play for the rest of your life if you had your way, but that wasn’t gonna happen. On the bright side, you were now on your way to the back of the pub to meet the band. For some reason, you were feeling a little nervous which is nothing like you at all. Finally, you reached the back and you see that all the boys were packing their things away into their van. 

“Y/N, darling you made it!” Freddie yells enthusiastically, running up and hugging you tightly. 

“Fred, you did amazing out there! You guys killed it!” You gush, hugging him just as tightly. 

“I knew you would love the show,” He gave you one last squeeze before going over to Mary and giving her a kiss on the cheek and embracing her to his side. “Boys, this is my dear friend Y/N, Y/N meet Brian who plays guitar, Roger the drummer, and John our bassist.” You shake Brian and Roger’s hand giving them a smile and telling them it was nice to meet them. When you shook John’s hand it was like seconds lingered on longer then supposed too. On stage, he had a this fiery attitude that made you feel like he’d be a hotheaded rockstar, but he was not that. Offstage, it’s like everything about him was gentle. From his smile to how he felt against the skin. You shook his hand and he had a shy smile on his face, and you knew you had a faint blush creeping up on your own. 

“Lovely to meet you, Y/L” he says while continuing to shake your hand longer than supposed to. He’s so enticing you couldn’t even reply to him, so you just smile and nod like an idiot. Mentally you were kicking yourself for not saying something, anything, to him. 

“Sooo...” Freddie pipes up, directing your attention to him, instead of on John. He let’s go of your hand quickly, letting it fall back down to your side. “Should we have drinks here, or at our place?”

“Is that even a question Fred? Here of course,” Roger replies quickly. “Joining us tonight, Y/N?” Roger asks, giving a little wink in the process. He’s cute sure, but you know he’s just trouble and that’s the last thing you needed. 

“Oh, I don’t know. It’s getting kind of late.” You say ignoring his stare by looking at your watch. Last thing you wanted was to be in another game with a “bad boy”. You had already made that mistake once, and you weren’t about to make it again. 

“Absolutely not darling. You’re having drinks with us and that’s that.” Freddie orders and what Freddie says goes.

“C’mon, Y/L. When was the last time you had some fun?” Mary adds on. You chew on the inside of your cheek deciding whether or not you should join them. Everyone stood there waiting for your answer. You definitely didn’t want to be a downer, plus you’d be able to spend time around John just a bit longer.

“Okay, okay. I’ll stay and have drinks with you guys.” You declare, earning a relieved look from Freddie and a squeal of excitement from Mary. If you’re being honest, it seemed as if John looked a little bit relieved as well when you decided to stay. No. You already made a promise to take a break from relationships, you remind yourself.

“Right, let’s go then.” Brian’s tall figure lead the way back in. You all decide to squish into a booth that just barely held you all. You were between John, which made your heart flutter, and Roger. Rounds were made to your table, which you all appreciatively downed. Not long after, confidence started bubbling inside to talk to the brunette boy next to you. 

“You did an amazing job out there, John. Have a real talent, but I bet you already knew that,” The last part came out a little more flirty then you meant, but you didn’t really care. 

“Thank you. Very nice of you to say that,” John said, smiling at the compliment you gave him. You knew he didn’t quite believe what you were saying was true. 

“I’m not just saying that to be nice, John. I really mean it, you truly are talented. Between me and you,” You lean over closely to him so he could hear your whisper “you were my favorite to watch.” You pull back to gauge his reaction. He looks at you with a smile that reaches his eyes and a blush on his cheeks. 

“Secrets safe with me,” He raises his pinky to signify a promise, you wrap your own pinky around his with a grin on your face.

Weeks go on by, and you were starting to go to the boys’ show every chance you got. You always told yourself that it was because you loved the band and their music and you wanted to support all four of them, but deep down you knew it’s partly because you wanted to see John more. After that night of meeting the band, you had quickly became good friends with all the boys, even Roger, though he still flirted a bit. With John, it’s like you two were connected at the hip. 

The friendship between you two blossomed quickly, surprisingly. It took you weeks to warm up to someone, but with John it took hours. You felt as if there was no judgement between you and him. Every moment you were next to each other, maybe even sharing innocent touches that made your heart leap. Every second you were with him, you felt your small crush deepening into adoration. He’s just... Perfect. 

He has soft flowy hair, beautiful greenish grey eyes, the cutest nose, the best smile and the most kissable lips. The best part is that he was an angel with a bit of the devil hidden inside which made you guys get along so well. Like I said, he’s perfect. 

Suddenly, you’re ripped out of your thoughts by Mary’s hand frantically waving in your face. 

“Y/N, darling, you’re drooling by just staring at the man!” She yells against the deafening noise coming from the band’s party. 

“Am not!” You say, wiping your chin just to make sure. 

“Love, why don’t you just tell him? It’s quite obvious you like each other,” She suggests. You roll your eyes at her comment, this wasn’t the first time she, or the band told you to admit your feelings to John. 

“He doesn’t like me like that Mary, that’s why I don’t tell him.” You reply, but you both knew that was a lie. You knew he had some type of feelings for you too, but it just felt easier, maybe even safer to not tell him your feelings. 

“I just don’t get what you’re afraid of, Y/N” getting hurt, yet again. “Sometimes you need to take risks. That’s the only way you’ll make it in life.” She points out. You knew she’s just trying to help, but sometimes you just wanted to tell her to butt out. 

At the other side of the party, the same conversation was going on between John and Freddie. 

“Just tell her, it’s as simple as that!” Freddie says clapping his hands together.

“No, Fred” John shakes his head “It’s not just that simple.” Especially when it’s as someone as perfect as her, John thought

“Darling, you’re making this way too complicated! It’s obvious that she likes you as well by the way she stares at you, or how she intently listens to every word you say like it’s your last. Not to mention, how she blushes when you give her a compliment or how she nearly forgets to bloody breathe when you touch her!” Freddie says a bit over dramatically, trying to get his point across to the stubborn man. 

“What if you’re wrong Fred?” John asks doubtful. It pained him to keep his feelings from you, but he was fearful of the pain that he’d have if he told you and you didn’t reciprocate his feelings, chancing losing you as a friend. The last thing he wanted to do was chase you away from him. 

“Me? Wrong? I’m never wrong Deacon, you should know this by now.” 

“You’re right. I’ll tell her,” John takes one more drink of his beer before leaving to go find you. Tonight was the night, what’s the worst the could happen? He thought.  

It didn’t take him long to find you. His breath hitched watching your bright smile and audible laugh over the loud crowd. The only problem is that you’re with Mary. Maybe it’s the alcohol, or maybe just sheer adrenaline, but John continues his way to you.

“Mary, Freddie’s looking for you.” John tells Mary as soon as he reaches you two. Mary’s eyes search the crowed room for Freddie, and instead of seeing a Freddie searching high and low for her, she sees Freddie cheering on Roger who’s chugging a bottle of liquor.

“You sure John? Doesn’t look like he’s searching for me,” She says back with a slight laugh. She knew what he was trying to do, she just wanted to make it a little harder for him. Realizing what they were both trying to do, you jump in and help out John chase off your best friend.

“Mary I don’t think you heard the man! FREDDIES LOOKING FOR YOU!” You shout out at her. You hear a small laugh escape John’s lips. Mary looks at you with a pout on her lips, then stubbornly got up and made her way towards Freddie. You turn to John with a prideful smile on your lips and happily pat the now open spot next to you. More than happily, John takes the spot beside you mirroring your smile.

As soon as he knew Mary was out of ear shot, he leans in close to where you’re able to hear him clearly “I lied. Freddie was never looking for her,” He confesses.

“Really? I couldn’t tell!” You say with playful sarcasm. “Why’d you lie then?” You lean further into John, causing his already crimson cheeks to grow a shade darker.

“Well... if you really want to know, I just wanted to get you alone” He tries to play off, but his red face was betraying him. You raise your eyebrows a little in surprise at his statement. Instead of asking any further questions, you decide to play along.

“We’re not completely alone,” you gesture to the packed crowd surrounding you “Should we perhaps leave and go somewhere private?” An angelic smile crept onto your lips, but John noticed the unmathcing devilish glimmer in your eyes. He knew exactly what that meant.

“Thinking what I’m thinking?” He asks with his own mischievous grin.

“Oh yeah,” Without hesitation, you grab hold of John’s hand and drag him out of the party. You have so much excitement running through your veins, neither of you even bother to say goodbye to your friends. “Keep up Deacs, don’t need you falling behind.” You tease.

“Don’t worry love, right behind ya,” He gives your hand a tight squeeze, making your heart flutter. If only you could hold his hand like this forever, but you knew better than to allow that.

Ahhhhhhh the Baku // Mina friendship debate, nice, hadn’t been around on this blog for a while - you know, the reason why there isn’t much content and their friendship is somewhat underrated (unless we’re talking about full squad content, there’s a lot of baku and mina there) is that, going only by canon, they... aren’t friends. Of course Mina’s part of the squad, but she is more in virtue of the fact that she’s besties with Kaminari and Sero and has her backstory relationship with Kirishima, than because she has had any significant interactions with Bakugou (a bit like Jirou’s a member of the squad through Sero and Kaminari and Bakugou even if she’s got no relationship with Kirishima at all, all in all) - I, personally, like to think they could be great friends, you know? But if we’re talking canon I can count the times they interacted on the fingers of one hand (the only serious one being during the sports fest, which Mina herself commented as Bakugou picking her only cause of her acid being a good strategy against Todoroki’s ice)

I know this is sort of a digression from your question, but, as you obviously noticed since you sent me this question, lately whenever I have focused on Bakugou’s friendships in my drawings Mina hasn’t been there, and people have been more or less aggressively pointing it out to me, like I was doing a disservice to a canon friendship by not portraying it - when in truth the relationship in question has nearly no canon basis at all. So I just wanna say, from the bottom of my heart and honestly, I’m sorry if my liking to delve into and focus on Bakugou’s canon friendships makes you sad, but if the focus of a drawing or a set of drawings is supposed to be Bakugou and the relationships Horikoshi gifted him, then Mina’s most probably not gonna be there (for now, I’m still hoping Hori will add her to his growing list of canon friends soon *crosses fingers*)

Either way this has nearly nothing to do with your question and it wasn’t even really directed at you specifically, I just used the chance to address something that was bothering me a bit - THAT SAID! I do have something I mean to draw that’s gonna be focused on Bakugou and include Mina! It might not be exactly what you’re looking for, but I hope you’ll like it anyway, at least a tiny little bit! ;^;

Oh heck anon, you really don’t wanna get into this, if I started talking about why I love Bakugou as much as I do I’d probably end up saying a 10k worth of words hah I love everything about him, everything he is and everything he has the potential to be, everything he’s changed about himself and every step he’s taken along the way to be who he is right now. I love his personality and I love how strong he is, I love how hard he works, I love how angry he is and how honest and direct and genuine in everything he does he is. I love the way he interacts with people, I love his expressions SO MUCH, I love his habit of speaking in hyperboles and I love how he’s a fast thinker and how he has to go back and walk through every step he skipped when he explains things to people. I love that he presents himself as a genius when actually he just pours everything he has in being the best at everything he tries doing, I love that he’s autocritical and that he cares and that he admits when he’s wrong and that he cries, I love the fact that he cries a lot. I love that he’s set on his path and that he takes everything life throws at him and keeps walking head up and square shoulders, and also I love his eyes and his hero costume and the fact that he wants to be intimidating and yells DIE at inanimate objects and enjoys hiking in his spare time and that he calls people nerd like he isn’t one himself I just. God, I would love to give you a hand there but to be fair I have zero clue what I’m doing when shading, anon ;-; I go a lot about it following more gut feeling and what looks right, than any actual tecnique (which probably shows to people who have a deeper understanding of it than I do orz) the best I can tell you to do is to try to draw from real life, but really this is such a hard question for me to answer when I myself need to work more on it ;^; I’m so sorry!

I dunno how qualified I am to answer this question since I’m still playing around with my style trying to work that out, but most of what I keep an eye out for are proportions and also how round I make the traits, I guess? The rounder the younger, as far as my art style goes - I also make the eyes bigger the younger my character is supposed to be, but that probably only works if you don’t mind your style not being all that realistic hahaha

Seeing as I posted the comic weeks before the card came out, I’d say it was a coincidence haha that said! In the card Bakugou isn’t actually doing Kiri’s pose! He’s doing his own, which is adorably similar to Kirishima’s - one closed hand against an open palm as he lats out an explosion, you see him take the stance as he gets ready to fight now and again in the manga and anime!

BTS reaction 3: Them reacting to your cute / strange sleeping habits ...

Honestly, I was feeling a little weird today, so I consciously decided to write and post something warm, fluffy, light and kind of uplifting. 😌

That’s how this reaction came to life, inspired by some weird sleeping habits I myself have (don’t we all!? 😅) and actual reactions to them by past partners ...

P.S. (directed at everyone who is wondering): I’m still working on that series about Namjoon cheating, but it was just a tad too angsty for me today. I have the next chapter almost ready and will update soon!

1. Kim Seokjin / Jin

Whenever sharing a bed with Jin, you usually start randomly kicking off the blanket in the middle of the night, whatever the season and however cold it is. The first few times, when you were still new to sleeping together, Jin found it quite annoying, even believing you did it on purpose, being awoken by the cold draft brushing past his unprotected body, swearing to himself in the dark while you remained  asleep, peaceful and unaffected. But when he confronted you about it in the early hours of the first morning you woke up side by side you seemed genuinely clueless. „I did what!?“, you exclaimed, incredulous. „So that’s why I always discover my blanket lying on the floor when I wake up. I thought my dog kept pulling it down …“ „Nope. That was all you. Definitely.“ „I’m sooo sorry, Jinnie! I know how desperately you need sleep.“ At one point Jin even pondered getting a second blanket,  just for himself, after having caught a cold from sleeping exposed one night. However, he decided against it, loving falling asleep skin to skin, hugging or spooning you, feeling the warmth emanating from your body and your heartbeat against his chest way too much to let a silly blanket get in the way of having you close to him. „I'll just hug you even tighter from now on, Y/N, so we can warm each other. I don’t need a stupid blanket as long as I have you.“

2. Min Yoongi / Suga

When Yoongi hears you crying in your sleep for the very first time, he can’t believe you aren’t merely pretending to be asleep, afraid it’s his somehow fault, that he made you cry, that he something wrong earlier or maybe didn't listen closely enough when you told him about your day. However, when he tries to talk to you, asking you what’s wrong, you remain unresponsive, silent sobs shaking your slender body and tears streaming down your face while you mutter incomprehensible words under your breath. The sight of you in this state and his desperate need to comfort you paining his heart, Yoongi simply decides to follow his instincts and wraps his arms around you, hugging you from the back, pulling you as closely to his body as humanly possible, burying his face in your neck and planting soft kisses on your skin. „Sssshhhhh, Y/N, it’s alright. I’m here. I’m here for you and I’m not going anywhere“, he whispers into your hair and, slowly but surely, you, still fast asleep, calm down as if you’d actually understood the meaning of his words and the promise they carry. Even after your crying has long ceased the two of you remain like this. And when you wake up the following morning, you discover Yoongi clinging to you unusually tightly, his face still nestled up to the crook of your neck. Surprised, knowing Yoongi normally needs some breathing space in order to sleep peacefully, you turn around in his embrace to look at him, initially worried. „Hey, what’s this? Why so cuddly all of a sudden? Are you sick or something?“ He merely shakes his head without even opening his eyes, brows furrowed,  a sleepy grin stretching his lips. „You were breaking apart last night, Y/N“, Yoongi then mumbles, his speech slurred and his voice still heavy with sleep. „I just couldn't let that happen, could I?”

3. Jung Hoseok / J-Hope

Hoseok is awoken by thirst and the strong desire to have a plain glass of fresh water. When he gets up, however, to fetch himself a drink, slowly, silently, careful not to wake you, you shoot up immediately. Startled by your sudden movement, Hoseok stops cold in his step and jumps in place, hardly able to stifle a squeal. Sitting up straight in the middle of your shared bed, you frantically look around, your eyes wide in the dark, feeling for the body of your partner between the sheets. „Hobi? Hobi, where are you!?“, you cry out, having trouble lowering your voice, resonating with sheer panic, to a reasonable volume. Slowly recovering from the shock, heart rate gradually decelerating again, Hoseok makes a U-turn and comes back to bed, smiling fondly to himself, touched by your strong reaction to him leaving your side even only for a second. „It’s okay, Y/N“, he whispers softly, brushing your forehead with his lips. „I won’t leave you. Go back to sleep, alright, babe?“ You nod, already half asleep again, the sound of Hoseok’s familiar voice promptly putting you at ease. Unresisting, you let him gently put your head back to your pillow, snuggling into his welcome embrace. A warm smile still on his lips, he gives you one last peck on the cheek before going back to sleep himself, thirsty but happy. „You did it again last night, Y/N. This time you literally almost scared me to death!“, he teases you the next morning. „Aww, I did!? I’m so sorry, Hobi, I really have no control over it. I don’t even remember anything. But … shouldn’t you have gotten used to it by now anyway, my little scaredy-cat?“, you taunt him, playfully kissing the dimple showing on his cheek as he grimaces at the nickname you just called him. „Well, you still freak me out, every night anew. Nonetheless, I can’t get enough of it.“ He smiles at you lovingly, scrunching his nose. „It’s so cute how you already miss me the instant I’m gone, even in your sleep.“

4. Kim Namjoon / RM

Being quite tall with a rather manly frame and rarely having had to share a bed ever since he outgrew his teens, Namjoon had gotten used to having all the space his bed offered entirely to himself, sprawling across the mattress shamelessly. That changed, however, when you started to finally share his bed whenever you slept over at the dorm. At first he loved it, being close to you and feeling your fine body against his even in sleep. But his sentiment towards your sleeping arrangement soon changed as he discovered that you were quite clingy when dead asleep. Unconscious of your own actions, you keep clutching Namjoons waist, or really any of his limbs you can get your hand son, ever so tightly, each night without exception. Sometimes it annoys him, especially when its summer and the room is already hot and stuffy, or when you hug him so tightly he can barely breathe. Occasionally Namjoon even carefully loosens your grip around him, placing a pillow in your arms instead, which you reluctantly accept as proficient replacement, whenever he has to pee or get up early. Most of the time, though, Namjoon adores your subconscious need for bonding, even though it costs him sleep, especially since you’re so much more cuddly than in an alert state.   Taehyung, as his roommate oftentimes having witnessed your cute habit first hand, teases him about it on a regular basis. „Aww, our Rap Monster is so soft …“ „I just can’t refuse my Y/N anything, that’s all. And I can’t very well disturb her sleep every night, can I now?“, Namjoon simply replies, turning around to hide his content smile in your hair as he hugs you, still being fast asleep, both your arms clutched tightly around his neck. Because, yes, you make him soft. And he secretly loves it. 

5. Park Jimin

At first, Jimin was, mildly put, slightly freaked out by your sleepwalking, even though you had warned him of it. You would get up in the middle of the night and roam around the dorm, muttering to yourself and doing or taking random things, sometimes even cook or shower. It creeped the hell out of him and furthermore led him to worry for your safety, seeing you like that, staggering around with your eyes half closed, face blank, unresponsive to any of his words or actions. Once you even fell down the stairs and a few times you got completely undressed, leaving your clothes all over the house and slipping back into the wrong bed which caused quite a stir and made for a rather funny anecdote. After a while, however, he got used to your nightly escapades, actually growing to anticipate them and find them quite amusing, secretly making bets with the boys on what kind of crazy stuff you’d do next. A few months ago he eventually started filming you, having bought a special night vision camera for the sole purpose of doing so, following you around the house at night, paying no mind to the lack of sleep he experienced as a result. And it only gets better“, Jimin laughs, pulling you onto his lap, placing a soft kiss on your neck, before pressing play again to continue the playback of his visual evidence. „Nooo!“, you protest, cheeks burning, unsuccessfully trying to take the camera from him. „Turn that off, Jimin-ah! It’s so embarrassing!“ „No, it’s not“, he objects, smiling softly against your bare shoulder, his hot breath tingling on your skin. „I love you so much, Y/N. You’re adorable even when sleepwalking and have absolutely no idea how happy these unique little moments make my heart.“

6. Kim Taehyung / V

The first night you sleep over, Taehyung is awoken from his peaceful sleep by a sudden, strange noise. As he comes to his senses, he realizes it’s originating from you. Startled, Taehyung props himself up on his elbows, staring at you in amused bewilderment, stifling a chuckle. You are laughing. Out loud. In your sleep. Like the happiest little puppy. „What the hell …“, he mumbles to himself, continuing to watch you fondly until your giggle fit finally comes to its end. The next night, this pattern repeats itself, leading him to believe it’s probably a common occurrence with you. Another little quirk he can love about you, Taehyung thinks to himself. When he asks you about it one morning, however, you have absolutely no clue what he’s talking about. „That’s crazy, Tae, nobody laughs in their sleep! I didn't even dream anything funny. Maybe you imagined it or something.“ „For five nights straight?“ „Who knows?“, you shrug. „Your beautifully weird mind is a marvel, Kim Taehyung. We will never be entirely sure what’s going on in there.“ You lovingly tap his forehead, proceeding to place a quick kiss on it. „If you won’t believe me, I’m gonna prove it to you. It’s the most funny and adorable thing ever, you’ll see, Y/N.“ „Even more adorable than Yeontan?“, you tease him. „Even more adorable than Yeontan“, he agrees with conviction. The following night when he is once again awoken by your muffled laughter, Taehyung immediately grabs his phone to make an audio recording which he eagerly plays for you as soon as you wake up in the morning. Wide-eyed you stare at him in disbelief, laughing the exact same laugh you just heard in the recording. „What the fuck!? That was really me!? I had no idea, Tae! I’m so sorry I keep waking you up like this.“ „Don’t worry, Y/N“, he smiles, biting his lip while affectionately brushing a strand of your hair behind your ear. „It’s so cute and beautiful, I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, not even for an additional half hour of sleep.“

7. Jeon Jungkook

„Just admit it already, Jeon Jungkook, you switched my shoes again, didn’t you? So it’s your fault that my ears hurt!“ Startled by you raising your voice at him in the middle of the night, Jungkook shoots up in bed, barely even having managed to doze off yet, while he thought you at least had been fast asleep already. „What are you talking about, Y/N!? I didn't do shit to your shoes!“ You show no reaction. 
„Y/N?“ Again, no response. When he leans over to look at you, your eyes are shut tightly and your face is that of a sleeping angel. Weird, Jungkook thinks to himself, lying back down again. Maybe he misheard or dreamed it. Barely a few minutes later, however, your voice sounds again. „How many times do I have to tell you!? Of course Taehyung is the more handsome one between the two of you. But it’s still you I love, Kookie, you little dork …“ „What the heck!?“ Anger and jealousy rushing through his protruding veins, Jungkook sits back up, instantly wide awake again, this time perfectly sure he heard right. As he turns to look at you, though, you lie sleeping as peacefully as ever. „Oh, don’t you dare pretend you’re asleep now, Y/N! I heard what you just said, every last word of it! So you think Tae is more handsome than me, yeah!? Well, then go cuddle up to him next time.“ For a few seconds he pauses, eagerly anticipating your reaction. You, however, remain fast asleep, showing no feedback whatsoever. „Okay. Have it your way. I’m leaving then. You can have the bed to yourself, traitor“, Jungkook mutters angrily under his breath, already climbing out of bed. „Alrighty …“, you mumble. „But don’t forget to bring the Ketchup. I’d hate to disappoint Winnie the Pooh.“ Perplexed, Jungkook stops cold in his movements, stifling an incredulous laugh. „Come again!?“ But this time you remain silent. The next morning, you’re confused as to why he behaves so oddly towards you, acting colder than usual and darting sullen glances at you and Taehyung lounging on the sofa. Worried, you come over to him. „What is it, Kookie? What’s wrong?“ „You know full well what’s wrong“, he pouts, averting his face, still glaring at an unaware  Taehyung. „So, you really think he’s more handsome than me, Y/N?“ Eyes wide in bewilderment, you can feel your cheeks blush. „Who said something like that?“ „You did“, he retorts, his lips pursed. „When?“ „Last night.“ A knowing „Ohhhhh …“ escapes your lips as you finally realize what’s gotten into Jungkook. „I talked in my sleep, didn’t I?“ Still glaring, he nods. „I forgot to tell you … I do that sometimes when I’m stressed out, and right now it’s exams season, so …“ „Well, I guess I have no choice but to believe you. For now. But do you really feel that way about Taehyung? Should I be worried, or what?“ An apologetic smile on your face, you throw your arms around his neck, climbing onto Jungkooks lap. „Of course not, Kookie! You’re my everything, you know that! I really have no power over what I say when I’m asleep and it’s mostly nonsense anyway. I swear!“ „Alright“, he reluctantly concedes. „But next time you have the cheek to say something like that, even if it’s in your sleep, it won’t go unpunished. Got me!?“

The Olympic Men’s Free Skate Queue

Hello Alice! I’m sure that Seimei have gotten a level 4 Step Sequence in another competition. What do you think might cause it to get only a level 3 in the Olympics?

Why did Yuzu's StSq get a lv3? And did you see TAT and Yuzu hugging?? Sooo cute!! Did Yuzu get coached by her? They seem close, like mother and son

I’m so relieved and happy for Yuzu... I’ve seen a bunch of people complain that he got a level 3 on the stsq, but is it just me or was he a bit out of time with the music for the whole thing? Wouldn’t that downgrade him?

TAT and Yuzu hugging and she showering him with kisses was so freaking cute I had to punch a stuffed animal and down a shot of espresso (because I don’t do alcohol) to restore my cold-hearted bitchiness after I saw them. I don’t think Yuzu has ever got coached by her officially but they are quite close. He respects her a lot and she absolutely adores him, thinks the world of him really!

For the anon who asked me who TAT is: Tatiana Tarasova is a prominent Russian figure skating coach and is currently the Russian national team’s adviser. She is a legendary coach and is a highly respected authority in the figure skating world. Incidentally, she was the person who suggested Yuzuru to skate to Notte Stellata :)

So, on to Yuzu’s Seimei StSq, it got a level 3 the other day because of this turn:

This was from his first combination of difficult turns. He was going for a rocker-counter-twizzle combo there, but you can see on the close up on the right: his counter was jumped, as in he didn’t keep his blade on the ice throughout the turn. This mistake cost him an entire level, because one of the features for a level 4 StSq is you must have two valid combinations of difficult turns done on different feet. It also happens that from the 2017-2018 season, the ISU rule has changed so that only the first combination attempted on each foot can be counted. So even though in this Seimei StSq, Yuzu had an additional combination on the left foot, that one was not counted either for level purpose.

Yuzuru’s Score

Hi... If Yuzu went Clean with his free program as he planned, how much his score could be? I’ve done a rough calculation and I found that he could broke his total score record with that... what do you think about it?? Thank you ☺️ P.s : I really love ur blog

The most material mistake Yuzu made in the FS was on the second 4T. When he failed to put that jump in combination, he lost at least 11 points. The intended combo was 4T+1Lo+3S, which, in the second half, is worth 16.72 in BV. With the 4T in REP, he lost 30% of that jump’s BV and got also negative GOE for the step out, earning only 5.87 on that element. 

He also lost a couple points on the last 3Lz. So, yes, considering that his final total score of 317.85 is 12 points below his WR of 330.45, if he hadn’t made those two jump mistakes, he’d have broken that WR for sure. 

Yuzuru’s Ankle

Aaaaand back at worrying about Yuzu's ankle. Why??? :((

Alice, he was wonderful. He was so wonderful. Yuzuru Hanyu is the greatest of all time. I hope he feels all the love like a warm and soothing hug. It sounds like his ankle has ways to go, so everything crossed that he takes the time to let it heal completely. What a champion. We are not worthy. Now for the ladies. *dies a little*

So happy that Yuzuru was able to overcome his ankle injury and do THAT at the Olympics! Do you know if he plans to attend Worlds now?

His ankle is still a cause for concern, since it obviously is far from being fully healed. Yuzuru himself said that he skated throughout this week on painkillers and he’d need to get his injury examined again after the Games. The jumps in the second half of Seimei caused him visible trouble and pain so when he went down to touch his ankle after the skate, I’m pretty sure at least half of it was because it really hurt.

I can’t believe I am actually saying this, but I sincerely hope that he would withdraw from Worlds and allow his body all the time it needs to recuperate. 

Yuzuru’s Plan

Hi, what a day! Do you think Yuzu will try to put the 4Lo back in the programs in next month's Worlds? I can't help but think that he loves SEIMEI too much to let it go without raising the difficulty one last time.

Its still hard to believe today. We all knew he was going to win yet we had our doubts. I am just wondering, if nathan continues to do 6 quads, how will yuzuru improve seimei to have a higher technical score?

Nobody knows yet whether Yuzu is planning to compete in Milan - I think even he himself cannot say that for certain right now. If he eventually decides to go to Worlds, I hope it is because he is fully fit, in which case, yes, I think he is going to bring back the 4Lo. I don’t think he needs to factor in Nathan’s 6 quads while deciding his layout. Nathan’s 6-quad free skate still ended up with a lower score than Seimei at NHK 2015, you know, the one with, like, 3 quads in it?

Nathan’s Free Skate

Thoughts on Nathan’s free skate?

It was a redemption and I am happy for him. Other than that... he landed 6 quads and that is the only thing I remember from his skate. There was hardly any connection between his jumps in transitional terms, or connection between his jumps and the music, or connection between him and the audience. To give that program anything more than 8 in any component score is utterly ridiculous. I can accept that he won the free skate, but it was by no means imaginable a 210+ program. 

I hope I won't stir up anything by asking this, but had Nathan skated a clean SP, would he have won gold in your book? I'm just curious and your personal take is always refreshing to me. I hope this question isn't annoying. Also I love your blog. I legit check it every week. I learn so much from just reading your posts. Thank you for your time and patience. :)

Yes, theoretically speaking, Nathan could have won the competition if he had skated a clean SP. But, also, theoretically speaking, Yuzuru could have skated a clean free skate too. If we continue along that line, both of them could have bombed and Javier could have won, or Shoma, or Boyang, or Vincent, or Patrick, or anyone, really. That’s what a sporting competition is all about: any competitor has a chance to win, and the result is ultimately determined by what each and everyone of them delivers, not in theory, but in reality.

Javier and Shoma’s Placements

Why was Javier behind Shoma? Asking cause I know nothing about tech and to me Javier looked like he skated a cleaner and better set of programs

It was a matter of base value. Javi was scored higher than Shoma in PCS in both the SP and FS and I think the gap more or less adequately reflected the difference in their program components. The final base value of Javi’s FS is 19 points lower than Shoma’s (a gap widened by Javi’s mistake of popping the second 4S into a double, which lost him about 10 points) and that’s the main reason he lost. 

On Shoma’s base value, though, there’s this:

Hi Alice! Sorry to bother you, but could you take a look on Shoma's quad loop (the one where he fell) in his free skate in Pyeongchang? I heard a lot of people saying that it's underrotated, and I thought that I'll ask you for an unbiased opinion. Thanks a lot!    

Yes, his 4Lo was very much under-rotated:

There you can see how he landed at over 90 degrees short of rotation. From this angle it’s hard to say for sure, but I suspect that his blade touched the ice even earlier than that, around this point:

If the tech panel is strict, this level of miss in rotation can even result in a downgrade of the jump.

As it happened, his 4T in the combo was borderline, too:

So, all else being equal, and considering how close their total scores were, if the technical panel had made these UR calls on Shoma’s jumps, the Silver very well should have gone to Javi.
