On the way to Liyue was long but luckily you were able to go there before the Rite of Descension started

But the Rite of Descension wasn’t really what you expected it to be

Seeing Rex lapis died suddenly during his summoning is something that is going to traumatize any children there

Not only that but, both you and Lumine lost your chance to maybe find out about her brother and maybe a way back home

That is after all of the problems are solve….

Finding out that Lumine brother or Aether is the abyss prince isn’t really something that is a good news

When you first met childe, you had your guards up around him due to him working as a fatui. Even worse is that he’s a harbinger, but you lowered it down a bit after seeing how he cared for his little brother

He may or may not keep on giving you mora even tho you already told him to stop.

Zhongli is an interesting man in your opinion. Finding out that he’s the geo archon just make it a bit awkward since there are people who claimed they know about Rex lapis more than him but he’s a great person to be around.

You would often go to him and listen to his stories when he was Rex Lapis and maybe enjoy the silence between the two of you

Meeting qiqi is was quite shocking due to the fact that she is a small child working.

But even so, you couldn’t help but always give her treats every time you visit her. You treat her like she is family to you.

Upon hearing the Jade chamber story, you met Ganyu.

The more you spend time with her, the more she remind you of mitsuri.

You would always try your best to encourage her to at least eat something that will make her full and to stop worrying about how people look

The two of you enjoy each other company and cloud retainer seems to enjoy your company as well

You thought keqing was a cat when you first saw her, but when you look closer to her hair, you realize she’s not

You would try your best to make sure she isn’t always rest and to always remind her to at least take a break from all of her work

Going on ningguang Jade chamber make you feel like you want to jump, sadly Lumine kept a close eye on you to make sure your not doing anything that will kill you

Ningguang insist on buying you things that may not be necessary for your journey but not wanting to feel bad, you kept them either way

Xiao is another story, you both don’t mind each other presence yet you two don’t seem to be able to strike at least one conversation

He would randomly appear whenever you need to fight some monster, but that doesn’t really bother you

But what’s bother you is that, how is he always somewhere near you? You don’t call his name unless needed

Since liyue doesn’t really give you any information about another world, let’s hope that inazuma have at least a clue

Everyone at liyue is nice….

kaveh convincing childe to donate to causes, or childe sponsoring navia's spina di rosula... let childe throw his money at good people with good intentions

childe being such a patient and loving brother figure to qiqi... holds her hand when shes off harvesting items for the pharmacy and making sure she remembers ; - ;

we don't know much about him yet but wouldnt it be insane if childe and wriothesley had the same ideals about justice and it unnerves wrio to parallel with someone with a love for taking lives

in the same vein, with neuvilette still introspecting about what justice is, him hearing about childe's beliefs... the way he could agree with them, that all people are not made equal? will it corrupt neuvi's way of justice? oughh...

i do not know if it is Ever possible considering scaramouche hates childe so much but imagine both people feeling the same distrust to the harbingers, that they'd all literally backstab them when given a chance... wanderer's broken free of that but childe meanwhile stays with a target on his back bc he believes in the cause...

Qiqi is a small child from Bubu Pharnacy who helps out Baizhu. Her memory isn't that great, but she carries around a notebook with her to help with that.

I wish to know how the boys would react to a tiny bb legacy.

*gently slides Qiqi over to Kaeya* adopted. Kaeya has adopted the little baby Legacy and there's nothing you can do to stop him. maybe it's because they're both acclimated to cold environments, but he feels a kinship almost instantly and becomes an older brother figure VERY quickly, so much so that they were eventually placed in the same enclosure since there's no risk of anyone getting hurt!! they like playing in the snow together <333

as for everyone else, Childe and Albedo get along with Qiqi fairly well too!! Childe's just naturally protective over her, and is dubbed big brother number 2!!! Albedo's more reserved, but he and Qiqi have a similar level of calmness so they have times where they just sit together in silence and enjoy each other's company. Albedo's also one of the Legacies with more nimble fingers, so he can put her hair into little styles!! Kaeya and Childe try their best but mostly just end up combing it out while Albedo actually braids it. she also loves sitting on Childe's head between his horns- no she will NOT come down!!

Diluc is... a bit odd. see, Qiqi likes him and he likes Qiqi enough, but not only is he not the best with kids, he also runs warmer than basically anyone which means he and Qiqi dislike being in each other's environments for very long. but he's always gentle with her when he does have the chance to see her!! gives her tentative headpats and waves, but you're usually the "mediator" between them, someone Qiqi can lay on to cool down and Diluc can snuggle up to so he can warm up if that makes sense!!

there's also a 50% chance on any given day that Columbina has kidnapped Qiqi and taken her back to show her off to the other Harbingers

explanations under the cut

Literally the most compelling character in anything ever: all three of these windy boys have open ended stories and so many possibilities and it's like!! I want to see their story!! I want to see more!! Let me know!!

their character arc is p much been complete: Nahida's archon quest is legit one of the few times where after I played it, I felt I had a full understanding of her as a character and deity. Through the media we were given about her, we understand her story, her sorrow, and her determination to watch over Sumeru and be the archon they deserve.

Kazuha is just. So chill and cool. He was already really good as a character with the right amount of edge and enchantment but then the second golden apple archipelago?? how he was anxious about his family's decline? A look back at Kazuha at a different moment in his life?? we saw how he came to be the person he is today and that was dope as hell.

I love you deeply and you need more focus: Collei's full backstory hasn't been touched on much in the actual game. We don't need a whole recap of the webtoon but like. More than just a single conversation, ya know? Explore more about how she struggles with certain things due to her trauma. I also like to imagine that while her eleazar is cured, it still left her with some physical disabilities. Like, generally low stamina or a weaker immune system.

Albedo will just show up once a year and be like "yeah I'm a homunculus and also have an evil twin now and if I ever lose myself to the darkness can you kill me thanks buddy" LIKE!! I'M SORRY CAN YOU EXPAND A BIT MORE???? The connection with Durin pls??? ANYTHING??? WHERE'S SUBJECT 2???? AAAA?????

GIVE ME LORE GDI: Kaeya.............being from Khaenri'ah......will it ever be relevant in the main game......?? please I want to know ALSO can we see Diluc and Kaeya together more because even though in the letters from that one event it seems there's no bad blood between them it's still like?? come on let's see them as brothers. Diluc getting kaeya to stay for Adaline to cook for him tho. that was good. come on. resolve your trauma boys.

Same with Diluc like. Dude went on a one man man-hunt against the entire fatui. he is literally batman. i want to know more. can we see more plz??? with Lisa she is literally one of the strongest people alive and she's seen how the pursuit of knowledge drives people mad which is why she's just a librarian now. i want to know more about her because the KNOWLEDGE she probably has. heck man.

Tartaglia fell into the abyss when he was a child??? and that fucked him up completely and utterly??? he's also the only character with no light in his eyes which is??? PRETTY DAMN UNSUBTLE LIKE WOW

Faruzen is legit from 100 years ago after having been locked in stasis and trapped in a tomb where she basically lost her mind. that's fucking harrowing.

Ganyu being half adeptus and having fought in the archon war like damn. I wanna know more. Yanfei is neat and I wanna know more about her adeptus dad. Zhongli has layers certainly but I would like his own personal emotions to be focused instead of just implied.

Qiqi is literally a zombie after dying thousands of years ago and I would like the story to awknowledge that. Razor is just tarzan with wolves and Bennett was abandoned on a mountain as a baby these are so interesting stories and we should??? learn more plz???

cool story but not personally into it: Shenhe's story is really beautiful and her struggle to adapt living with people is neat but I feel like it just sorta. came and went. like. her fighting against osial's wife was supposed to be her moment but it was just sorta. eh.

Ei!! I love her!! But wow the main archon quest didn't do her justice!! Her two personal quests were cool, and I liked seeing Ei open up and such but like. It was not very well handled also I still don't get why she made a whole ass puppet with a mind of it's own but whatever I guess.

Rosaria has cool bandit background. But also. eh. Jean's legacy is cool but I don't personally connect with it. Noelle is neat but she's just sorta there. Heizou is fun and I do like him but I'm not quite gripped with his dead friend story as I am with the other anemo pretty boys.

CHILDE:

- “(Y/N)! Did you know that not only is big bro the greatest Toymaker in Snezhnaya, but he’s also the greatest love machine in Snezhnaya!?”

- Teucer wholeheartedly believes that you’ll end up with Childe in the future. It’s set in stone. It’s fate. Periodt. Perioditiscm. Periodic Table. As a little kid who continues to grow up reading Snezhnayan fairy tales, he believes that you and Childe will have your happily ever after. Soon. Very Very soon. He’s already planning the wedding as we speak. A traditional Snezhnayan wedding in a winter wonderland where you and Childe will complete your wedding ceremony by making snow angels and commencing a snow ball fight? Perfection. Teucer has already scribbled down that plan with his crayons and his lucky pencil. Childe’s got the funds with his Fatui job too! So it was going to be perfect!

- He may not be as wholesomely creative as Klee or as obliviously innocent as Qiqi, but he at least understands why his big bro hasn’t confessed to you yet. (Although he promises to not deal with his crushes and love interests like Childe does in the future) “I want to take things slow with (Y/N), okay Teucer?” were the words of his very own big bro that constantly played in his head over and over again. Since then, Teucer vows to help Childe and soon becomes his self-proclaimed little wingman. He wasn’t being painfully obvious whenever you were around, but sometimes you notice him stare at his big bro indignantly. As if waiting for the older sibling to say something important to you. There was a time when his big brother isn’t too busy with Fatui work, so he drags him to Qingce village to pick and collect some glazed lillies. Not telling his big bro what it’s for, they quietly return to Liyue harbor. As soon as Teucer sees you walking around the harbor, he runs to you with the glazed lillies in his hand.

“(Y/N)! (Y/N)! This is for you! Big bro picked these out!” He beams, probing you to take the messily wrapped bouquet in his hands. Childe running after him shortly after.

“Thank you, Teucer!” You gingerly take it from his hands and pat him on the head. You then avert your gaze to his older brother, smiling brightly. “Thank you to you too, Childe. These are beautiful.”

A faint blush appears on the harbinger’s cheek as he scratches the back of his neck, “It’s n-no problem! A lovely person such as you deserves a-”

Childe is suddenly cut off by Teucer’s light nudge on his ribs. The older brother gulps, kneeling down to the little one’s height. Teucer whispers into Childe’s ear and they exchange a quiet conversation for a bit whilst you stand there, albeit awkwardly.

Teucer clears his throat and stands in a dignified pose, his hands resting on his hips. “(Y/N)! Big bro has something to say to you!”

With a heavy sigh, he picks a Glazed Lily from the bouquet and slides it at the side of your ear and into your hair. Admiring your beauty, he then speaks:

“(Y/N)... I like you a lot. Will you go out with me?”

Safe to say that both Childe and Teucer went home with the biggest smiles plastered on their faces that day.

XIAO:

- Qiqi is the only one who vaguely remembers which of the Liyue Adeptus saved her that fated day. It was none other than the Vigilant Yaksha, Xiao. After all, the incident that befell her was written off of Liyue history. Fast forward to 100 years later, after she had encountered Baizhu and started working at the Bubu Pharmacy, she had finally met the Adepti again after she stumbled upon him in Wangshu inn when she was collecting Silk Flowers. Since then, Qiqi has considered Xiao as her older brother. Not necessarily the word she used but Qiqi calls him “Tofu” as she cannot remember names nor faces, but... she does remember the presence and aura of others. It was the closest name she could use to address her “big brother.”

- Whenever Xiao saw her in the outskirts of Jueyun Karst as she is tasked to find herbs and Qingxin flowers, Xiao gives her piggybacks to ease her struggles in her travels. (Yes, that meant Qiqi is on his back whilst they are climbing up the highest mountains. It was a talent that only Xiao could do. He was the best big brother ever.) During your constant visits to Wangshu Inn, Qiqi had noticed the lovely tension emanating between you and Xiao. Her older brother was absolutely pining over you but couldn’t possibly find a chance to tell you how he feels. If Qiqi was able to feel love from those around her, then her big brother Xiao deserves it too! And although she was not good with conversations, she does know how to make things less awkward with her oblivious sayings and zombie antics. And so on a particular day...

Xiao took you up to Qingyun Peak, the floating island that overlooked the entirety of Liyue. Qiqi tagged along with the two of you, her hand holding yours as the three of you quietly admire the sites below you.

“Xiao, this is beautiful...” You say in awe, Qiqi is tugging at your hand as she continues to sip on her cocogoat milk. “This is nothing like I’ve never seen before.”

“Is it?” Xiao tilts his head to you, his mouth curving into a small smile as soon as he turns to see your blissfully bewildered expression, “I-I hope you like it.”

“Like it!? I love it!” You correct him, your eyes glimmering in wonder.

Qiqi suddenly puts down her milk then untangles her hand with yours. She stands in the middle between you and Xiao as she grabs your hands and his, clasping them together. “Qiqi thinks you and Tofu love each other. Please get married.”

“Qiqi! That’s not-”

You chuckle heartily at the little girl’s innocent remark, “It’s too early for that Qiqi. I need to know first if Xiao returns the feelings I have for him.” You then look up at Xiao, a tight-lipped smile and a nod greets him as you wait for his answer.

“Y-yes. Yes I do. I like you very v-very much.”

ALBEDO:

- Practically everyone in Mondstadt knows about the adorable sibling relationship between Albedo and Klee. Despite not being blood-related, Albedo will do anything for Klee and Klee would do anything for Albedo. It’s common knowledge at this point. They are one of the cutest siblings to ever walk Teyvat and you’re smiling with glee knowing that you were a welcoming addition to their lives. Klee always invites you to their humble home whenever her big brother isn’t busy because that meant he had time to mingle and possibly find a chance for him to confess to you. It’s not rocket science for Klee to realize how much big of a crush Albedo had on you ever since he met you. She was a smart kid. And although nothing could get in the way of Albedo’s research and experiments, but if it’s for you... he would stop the world if it meant helping and assisting you whenever you were in need.

-Whenever her big bro wasn’t too busy to have dinner and they’d eat Woodland Dream (Albedo’s special dish) from the fish that Klee had bombed earlier that afternoon, the Chalk Prince would babble on and on to his little sister about how much of an amazing and beautiful person you are. You were his muse and he hopes to find the time to sketch and draw you for his next masterpiece, Klee had decided to take matters into her own hands. When her time in Solitary confinement is done for the day and as Albedo picks her up from the Favonius Headquarters, she finally spots you in front of the library, sighing in relief as she has been looking everywhere for you.

“(Y/N)! (Y/N)! She approaches you with a cute wave, jumping around and hoisting her backpack on her shoulders, “Me and Dodoco wanna invite you to our drawing and coloring competition! It’s tonight! Big bro Albedo is competing too! You have to be our judge!”

“Oh! Sure! I’d love to be the judge of your competition, Klee!” You giggle at the little girl’s sweet invitation. You then turn to Albedo, shooting him a smile too. “I guess I’ll see the both of you at 7PM?”

“Yes, of course.” Albedo nods approvingly, trying his best to keep his cool and proper facade. “If you’d like, we’d love to have you for dinner too.”

“Sure! See you later, then!” You disappear into the library, to continue your work.

Klee looks at her big bro with a devilish smirk, wrapping him in a big hug. “I hope you’re excited for this, big bro!”

A blush creeps up Albedo’s cheeks as he sighs contentedly, “Yes, I am. Now, let’s get home and get things prepared shall we?”

And on that night....

“TADA!” Klee playfully presents her artwork to you, as if it was a masterpiece that deserves to be shown in a gallery. You begin to analyze her drawing, noticing that it was an art piece of you, Albedo, and Klee holding hands. You are in the middle and there are hearts drawn around the caricatures of you and her big brother.

“I’m done too.” Albedo says nonchalantly, trying to get your attention. You turn to him and began to analyze it. It’s practically the same drawing as Klee’s but much more detailed and looking more like it actually came from a gallery. Observing it a little more, you observe the words hovering about the drawing figures.

“(Y/N)... I like you. Is it possible for something to happen between us?”

nervously shifting her legs on the ground, amber shyly presents you a plushie version of yourself that looks similar to the design of baron bunny. she bit her lower lip in pure nervousness as she imagines worst-case scenarios if you didn’t like it. gulping mentally, she nervously smiles as she takes a peek of your expression before looking down again. “happy anniversary.” she quietly said, hoping to herself that you’ll like the gift and that her mind finally calms down.

ayaka smiles as she takes a sip of her tea right outside her house with her beloved by her side, the sakura tree’s petals fluttering around them wonderfully, making the atmosphere more romantic. it's been a while since she last spent her time with you, so she makes sure that it’s spent with zero interruptions. turning to you as she started the conversation with a sweet, serene smile on her face. listening to you starting to ramble on about a topic that interests you, with a look of admiration present in her face.

feeling thankful that you saved her from the crowd of fans, barbara guided you to a secluded area where she often visited to have peace and quiet. she lets you rest your head on her lap as she softly hums a tune, which slowly switches to an actual song. a concert exclusively for her biggest fan with no worries of being judged. smiling if you join in on her singing, even if your voice isn’t as good as hers, she considers your voice divine like the anemo archon.

laughing lightly as she noticed her significant other getting tipsy after drinking a bottle, beidou stood up and announced that she and her lover would be going back to the quarters early. as the celebration continued behind her, she carefully picked you up bridal style and brought you to her quarters. her eyes widened when you started to ramble how much you love her before letting out a small smile and ruffling your hair, minding her own flushed cheeks.

diona hisses at the stranger who was obviously taking advantage of your kindness while screaming how disgraceful they are for trying to use you. wanting to teach them a lesson, she takes a step forward but you stopped her with a reassuring smile. huffing but obliging to your wishes, she only glared at the stranger, mentally memorizing their faces so that when they visit the bar, she would ask the traveler to mix up a horrible drink. after all, no one messes with you and gets away from it.

her eyes widened as she saw how you got hit from the active ruin guard, with eyes full of vengeance, eula gracefully yet deadly strike it on the core, effectively making it inactive once more. quickly rushing to your side as she eyed the obvious injury that the ruin guard caused, she cursed to herself for letting it happen. she quickly tended your wounds as she said her usual line of vengeance will be mine while coaxing you to not fall asleep.

fischl excitedly retells the stories she loved to you while being held by you in the bed after a tough day full of commissions. her prinzessin persona dropped completely as she started from the very beginning while playing with your hands. a soft smile present on her face, happy to share something she loved to you, her significant other.

embarrassed at your request, ganyu shyly looks away while looking down, fully presenting you her horns. a pink dust appeared on her cheeks when she felt your hand softly yet carefully trace the design of her horns. the warmth of your hands against her horns made her at peace as the initial embarrassment went away, replacing it with comfort and tranquility.

smiling mischievously as her eyes landed on your unsuspecting figure, hu tao carefully and quietly navigate herself to you. she tries to conceal her excited giggles behind her hand as she crept up behind you. she stayed there for a while before quickly wrapping her hands around your waist and shouting “boo!” in your ear while giggling madly.

waking up at the sound of the birds chirping, jean slowly opens her eyes as she yawns. she blinked a couple of times to get the sleepiness out, once her vision was clear, her eyes quickly landed on your still-sleeping figure. she smiles as she brushes a strand of hair behind your ear, softly calling your name in hopes to wake you up. hearing you groan in protest, she pressed a quick kiss on your lips, promising to give you more if you wake up right now.

keqing huffing as she loudly makes her side of the argument, her face almost turning red due to the anger she’s feeling. she knew she was right, so why were you insisting you were the one right and she was in the wrong? not wanting to back out from the argument, she accidentally says something she regrets. after the adrenaline of the argument evaporates from her veins, she quickly realizes what she said as she quickly pulls you into a hug while quietly apologizing.

whilst keeping her company while in solitary confinement, klee happily hums a tune she heard from barbara as she draws on a piece of paper you gave her along with some crayons. patting her head while she does her task, she looks up to you expectantly with her huge doe eyes, showing you what she drew. guessing from the color schemes of the two figures, you figured it was you and klee. happily praising her with her drawing, she excitedly grins at you.

the fatui agent screamed in terror as a cryo attack hit him, hitting him square on the chest. shouting profanities, he looks at who attacked him to give them a piece of his mind only to fear his own life. standing right behind you, in all her glory, was la signora, otherwise known as your lover. she clicks her tongue, staring at the agent with judgement, before turning her attention to you. cooing sweetly at you as she checks for any possible injuries before telling you to stay in her quarters as she deals with a pest.

lisa blinkes in surprise at the scenery before her, the library now deserted from people is decorated with a festive decoration. the table she used to have her tea time with is filled with food, from cakes to cookies, it even has her favorite tea among it. the scent of her favorite filled her nostrils as her eyes landed back on your figure, who was fidgeting from nervousness. laughing softly when asked if she likes it, she coos at you and brings you into a hug. you really are adorable, too much for her heart.

her eyes widened when the door leading to her room opened, lumine looked up to see you in the doorway, the light from the outside pouring in the dark room. she looks away while blinking away the tears gathered in her eyes, why did you have to see her like this? hearing the soft thud of a closing door, she felt the bed shifted and warm arms wrapping around her. your hot breath in her eyes as you whisper comforting words in her ears. deciding to finally drop her guard down, she clings to you and starts bawling. why did her brother leave her once again?

surprised at your question of your future, mona coughs in her fist as she decides to fulfill your curiosity, also with a promise of giving her mora even though she declined it at first. she let the chart of the astrology signs appear before her and started doing her fortune-telling stuff. seeing her nod as she stares at the constellation of what appears to be yours, you noticed that her face bursted into red. worried for her, you asked her what’s wrong and she could barely put out a coherent word from her mouth. she huffed as she looks away, hiding you from her view via her hat, her mind racing at the image of you settling down with her.

ningguang confronts you one day about your distant behavior with her, her eyes scanning your body, picking up your nervous tics along the way. she tilts her head as she looks at you with expecting eyes, even though her face remains stoic, her eyes are practically pleading for you to tell her what happened, did she do something wrong? sighing at your explanation, she stood up from her chair and made her way to you. pulling you into a chaste kiss, she smiled at you, reassuring you that everything would be okay.

gently waking you up from your nap, the face of a worried noelle appeared after you opened your eyes. smiling gently at you while stating that she finished preparing the soup and medicine and it’s time to eat. she frowned when you told her you don’t want to eat, to which she responded “you won’t get better if you won’t.” deciding the best option is to feed you, she scoop up a spoonful of soup and encourage you softly to open your mouth. her eyes lit up when you complied with her wish. after feeding you and making you drink the medicine, she changed your wet towel on your head and gave it a kiss, hoping to barbatos that you’ll get better soon.

qiqi looks up at you expectantly while raising her arms up, asking for you to carry her. because you can’t physically or mentally decline a sweet child like her, you lifted her up like she wanted and adjusted your hold on her so that she wouldn't fall off. wrapping her arms around you and smiling happily, you continued to traverse liyue harbor while carrying her.

watching you in amusement as you struggled to try to get a kiss from her, rosaria chuckled when even if you were standing on your toes, you still couldn’t reach her. seeing you pout at her, she gave your cheek a pinch while cooing at you. after having a deal with you, a kiss in exchange for a wine in the tavern, she gave you your desired kiss after rolling her eyes at your expecting face.

while looking through her notes, sucrose heard you hum while doing your daily house chores. looking up to peek at where you stood, washing the dishes while swaying slightly and humming a tune. she smiles as her focus soon shifts to listening to you humming instead of focusing on her notes. noticing that the shy girl was looking at you, the said-girl let out a tiny shriek and quickly looked down to her notes. chuckling at her adorable action, you continued to wash the dishes as she went back to her notes.

xiangling blushed profusely at the sight of you holding out a bouquet of flowers with a bag of jueyun chili on your other hand. she covered her face with her hands, incoherent words leaving her mouth as she tried to process what she’s seeing. you must’ve flustered her too much. chuckling at her reaction, you set down the bag and the bouquet at a table and wrapped your arms around her, patting her head to calm her down.

excitedly yet nervously strumming her guitar in front of you, xinyan took a deep breath before starting to strum her guitar for real and began singing her heart out. she hopes you’ll like the song she composed, exclusively for you. the one and only fan she has that endlessly supported her through her rockstar career. she smiles at you brightly as she continues to sing, bobbing her head up and down. this is who she is, and she’s glad she found someone like you.

feeling someone’s disappointing gaze on you, you look up to meet yanfei’s gaze with a frown plastered on her face. drunkenly greeting her, she shakes her head as she exclaimed she’ll be bringing you home now. it was a bit difficult as you kept wanting to wander off but she somehow managed to bring you home in one piece. plopping you down on your couch, she sighs as she mumbles that she became your babysitter and quickly fetches you some water. after some difficult time once again to make you drink water and the ending being successful, she stares at your sleeping face before letting out a sigh once again. why do you keep choosing someone else when she was right here by your side the entire time?

Some headcanons for my kaebedo spy x family au but with a twist because my brain refuses to switch off tonight

Albedo is the hitman, Klee is an esper and Kaeya is the spy.

Albedo is Klee's brother and they both escaped from a Fatui lab (after destroying it and their records, of course) and live in Mondstadt.

He's known as the Chalk Prince in the hitman world and earns a lot of money with his high profile targets. His 'normal job' is some desk job

He tries to keep his hitman job a secret from Klee but he doesn't know that she can read minds, only that she's been experimented on.

Klee tries VERY hard to not let Albedo know that she knows because she's a very considerate little sister that doesn't want him to have a breakdown, thank you very much. Also she thinks it's very cool

Yes she's still an arsonist child, who else would have blown up that lab? Also she goes to school with Qiqi and Diona (and Timmy) as classmates.

Kaeya is a Khaenriahn spy known as Eclipse, he's been deep undercover as Diluc's adopted brother and is a superintendent of the favonius police force. Or part of the Dawn Winery business, I haven't decided. He hasn't outed himself to his brother, so their relationship is amicable, if a bit strained recently

Kaeya's been commissioned to spy on some high ranking diplomat and the parameters are that he needs a family in order to get into their good graces, lest they get suspicious. So he can't even start the mission till he finds a family somehow lmao

Albedo on the other hand, has been looking for a partner, since talks about the Fatui sending envoys to Mondstadt are circling and he needs someone as a safeguard to make it look like he and Klee were Mondstadt citizens all along

Kaebedo meet cute with Klee finding out Kaeya's a spy. Cue "Oh Big Brother Al-beee-do, isn't it so lonely without someone else back home?? I wish I had another big brother!" Albedo is flustered. Kaeya... thinks about it. It's also a nice coincidence that Albedo's sister goes to the same school as his target's child

Shenanigans ensue, Kaeya's being chased down by his latest target with Albedo being caught up in the crossfire, which end up in them agreeing to a fake relationship and some very new feelings in the process.

Yes they get fake married, Kaeya gets concussed and slips up. Diluc's now convinced his brother's eloped without telling him and "oh gods, I'm terribly sorry Albedo, I guess we're husbands now?"

"Hm, I guess this will take some getting used to, husband."

"Guh- I mean yes. You're right."

bonus under the cut:

Sucrose and Timeus are Albedo's coworkers! They babysit Klee sometimes, and she always loves Miss Sucrose's candies. Albedo's kind of like a mentor to them, despite being newer to the job.

Klee still has Dodoco, and its a little stuffed toy and Klee's only memento of her mum

Also, Alice is both Klee and Albedo's biological mother in this au, and they were outlanders trying to look for a place to settle before Klee and Albedo got taken and eventually experimented on.

Diluc and Kaeya are overprotective siblings for each other, no I don't take criticism

Also Diluc still has his Darknight hero persona, and Kaeya and his agency totally know

Dainsleif is Kaeya's handler. He is Tired of Kaeya's antics, which now includes trying to goad him into making a pretend family. Which. That's a hard no from him. His coworkers are basically grown-ass children anyway.

Childe is a fellow spy who's infiltrated the Fatui, with his former mentor, Skirk as his handler. He keeps asking Kaeya to fight him. Or even worse, "Comrade, I want to fight your smoking hot brother!"

"Never, ever describe him as that again. I think I just threw up a little."

Lumine couldn’t sleep. It was one of those nights where her mind had started to go down the rabbit hole of her missing brother, and her mind just couldn’t quiet no matter how hard she tried.

She decided to stroll around Liyue Harbor, where she was currently staying while helping out Zhongli. Paimon wanted to accompany her, but Lumine insisted that the tiny fairy stayed put. She wanted to be alone for a while. She loved Paimon, and how the little guide would take her mind off things, but she wanted some quiet.

Even at night, the harbor was still aglow with life, the lanterns hazily casting a romantic light on the stone pathways while soft chatter filled the air from restaurants and shops. The smell of barbecue meat and grilling fish wafted through the air.

Walking through the streets, Lumine smiled, just a bit. She couldn’t help but feel a little warmer being in Liyue. Her stay in Mondstadt had been a stressful time, relatively speaking. Here in Liyue, however, she felt like she could breathe—even if just for a little—and meeting these odd characters had put some laughter in her heart. She was glad to have met these people: Zhongli, Qiqi, and yes, even Childe.

Lumine pursed her lips. Childe. A member of the Fatui. A Harbinger.

She was still wary of him, of course, but he hadn’t done anything to hurt her or her friends...yet. In fact, she had to admit, he had helped her (and Zhongli) out a lot recently. So, her guard was coming down. Just a bit.

Lumine sighed as she approached the edge of the village. Now what?

She could turn around and head back to Paimon, but her mind didn’t feel quite settled yet. She looked ahead of her; she could either go down to the docks, or to the little stretch of beach down the way. Not wanting to talk to the boat workers, she set off towards the beach.

The sounds of the harbor faded and gave way to gentle rustling of waves lapping against the shore as she approached the beach. As she walked closer to the water, she noticed a figure in the sand. She stopped and squinted, assessing who—or what—was ahead of her.

Definitely human. Looked like they were wearing gray attire. A red mask atop a heap of orange-brown hair.

Childe?

He sat in the sand, looking out at the endless sea, with his elbows on his knees. He was mindlessly turning something in his hand, over and over again. It looked like a seashell.

His usually cheerful face was...forlorn. Lumine had never seen him look so sad.

Should I leave him be? Looking at his somber expression, she decided he probably wanted to be left alone.

She went to step back, when suddenly she tripped over a half buried boat sticking out of the sand with a loud THUNK.

WHOOSH. There was the sound of rushing water, and Lumine looked up to see Childe had drawn his bow, and was aiming directly at her head. His icy blue eyes met hers. The cloudy darkness in them dissipated upon seeing who it was.

“Lumine?” he said, lowering his bow. It vanished with a splash. “What are you doing here?”

She swallowed the initial fear down her throat. “I couldn’t sleep.” She shrugged. “What about you?”

He gave her a tight smile. “I guess it’s the same for me. The sea has always been calming.”

There was a slight hint of resentment. Was he lying? Why would he lie about that?

“Would you agree?” Childe asked.

Lumine walked and stood next to him. “Yes, I would say so.”

He sat down. “Sit with me,” he invited. She did.

The two sat side by side, silently listening and watching the water lap up near them.

Lumine glanced at Childe. His expression resonated a deep sadness, something she never expected from him. What is he thinking?

Childe caught her gaze. Lumine quickly turned her head back towards the water, her cheeks feeling warmer than before.

He chuckled. “Is there something on my face?”

“Nope.”

“Whatever you say.”

Without even looking at him, she could hear his smirk in his voice.

She turned her attention to the sand, noticing a blue shell. She picked it up, dusting it off. It was one of the shells Childe had in his hand. A blue striped shell, with what looked like a star in the middle.

“A starconch.”

Lumine looked at Childe; he was holding up his own conch, staring at hers.

“They say if you hold it close to your ear, you can hear the longing calls of the sea.”

Longing.

She hesitantly raised it to her ear.

“What do you hear?” he asked.

She closed her eyes and listened. After a beat, she swore she heard laughter. A laugh she hadn’t heard for an eternity.

Aether.

Her heart clenched.

“I…” She bit the inside of her cheek. “I hear my hometown,” she lied.

His eyes held on her for a long second, then he looked out at the vast ocean.

“I hear a whale.” He raised his own starconch up to his ear. “Whales, you know, call out to each other underwater. It’s quite loud.” He closed his eyes. “But sometimes we can’t even hear them. Sometimes, they can’t even hear each other.”

“How sad,” he said. He closed his fist around the starconch. “How incredibly...lonely.”

Yes, very.

Did Childe lose someone close to him as well? Did he never have anyone to begin with?

She frowned looking at him. How much she missed his boisterous chuckles right now.

Lumine grabbed his hand. His head snapped to what she was doing.

“What are you-”

“Here,” she said, shoving her starconch into his palm.

He raised an eyebrow. “Why are you giving this to me?”

She closed his fingers around it. “Maybe your whale won’t be so lonely anymore.”

Childe stared at her.

Then, a smile. Soft.

It was a genuine smile, Lumine could tell. One buried deep within. She returned his smile.

“Yes,” Childe said. “I don’t think he’s so lonely anymore.”

i can’t believe i’m writing another celebration post less than two days after my first

this has been rotting in my head all day and might become a series in the future

Genshin Impact x F!Reader | Modernish AU | warning: it’s cute!

“I hope you don’t mind, we gave you a student teacher as well. It’s only fair since you were given the most troublesome class,” Headmistress Ping smiled at you warmly.

“Ah,” You nodded, “Thats fine.”

The elder woman patted your back, “Genshin Academy is truly lucky to have you. Your track record is impressive and you have an extremely rare vision. I think you’ll get along fairly well with Mr. Aether, he’s a good kid.”

You smiled at her, honored by her words. Genshin Academy, the elite and prestigious school, had taken you as a teacher. The education system was impressive and diverse, teaching elementary to college aged students. You were given the first year elementary school students and now a student teacher as well. No matter how troublesome the class may be, having assistance would be appreciated. If it didn’t, the extraordinary pay would make up for any issues you had.

The older woman walked you to the doors of the building and then left you to prepare yourself. Clutching your class roster, you stepped in and made your way to your classroom. When you entered your room, you were greeted by a young blonde man. He introduced himself as your assistant teacher and made some small talk before leaving you to prepare for the day. You appreciated his thoughtfulness as you tidied the room up a bit, smiling at your class pet, Dvalin.

Soon enough, the children poured in and greeted each other and you. Aether returned to the room, beaming at each child. You took attendance, ticking off each name as they all answered. Qiqi, Teucer, Klee, and Diona seemed to be the most lively of them all. They were also marked with asterisks as the worst “troublemakers” but so far things were running smoothly.

“Welcome, my name is Miss Bright,” You beamed at the children, “Let’s have a good year, okay?”

“Wow, you’re very pretty Miss Bright!” An energetic Teucer exclaimed.

Klee squealed, “I’m so excited!”

Diona scoffed and Qiqi nodded in agreement. You went through the motions, following your detailed curriculum perfectly. There were two separate general subjects, academics and control. One was simple enough, teaching the kids by the book. The other was all about assisting your students in controlling and growing their abilities as vision users.

By the end of the day you were exhausted. Soon enough the week flew by. As Friday came, you were exhausted. Most people had made these kids out to be terrible and mischievous, and in some ways they were. Yet, you had already grown very fond of all of them. They were much more tame than you had expected, save for some explosions and outbursts. Now you were stuck as some of the children were late being picked up.

“I hope my big brother gets a girlfriend like Miss Bright. She’s so nice and pretty.” You overheard Teucer whisper to the last three kids.

“Oh yeah!” Klee’s whispers weren’t whispers at all, “She’s like a princess. My brother is a prince. I wish he’d marry Miss Bright.”

“Tch,” Diona intervened, “Honestly, I wish Miss Bright had adopted me instead of that annoying man at home.”

“Qiqi thinks Xiao and Zhongli would like Miss Bright a lot.”

You giggled at their words, they were too sweet. Aether chuckled overhearing them as well and waving you off.

“Go finish up your paperwork, I’ll take care of them.” The cheerful blonde nearly pushed you out the door.

You sighed and made your way to the office up front. Paperwork was such a drag, not nearly as fun as over hearing those brats gossiping. The paperwork ended up taking up the rest of your time. By the time you were done you wanted to scream. As you left the office, a handful of coworkers approached you and invited you out. No was not an option as they insisted you let them treat you.

You were exhausted as they led you to their favorite bar. Aether followed like a lost puppy and you sighed.

“You can’t drink can you?” You questioned him.

“Ahhh,” Aether started but was interrupted.

“It’s fine! I know the owner. He doesn’t have to drink he can just babysit us.” Venti exclaimed.

Poor Aether couldn’t get out of it either. Once you entered the bar, things blurred. Immediately, your coworkers bought you many drinks. Venti was especially aggressive about drinking. The short music teacher was babbling to an extremely handsome bartender with vibrant red hair.

The scarlet haired man seemed to be a bit annoyed by the drunken chaos ensuing. Amber was giggling crazily and the school nurse, Baizhu had cornered a tall man with amber eyes, and Ganyu was petting you. Aether was awkwardly fidgeting, stone cold sober. Eventually, your poor student teacher ended up having to call a cab and carry you home. He was forced to try and navigate to your cozy apartment by unlocking your phone with your drunken face. It took way too many attempts.

You awoke the next day with a pounding headache and over a hundred notifications. The night was still a blur so you proceeded to try and take care of yourself. Aether was kind enough to go out and buy you some pain medicine and left it on your counter with your keys. It was embarrassing how you couldn’t find any memories of your adventures in liquor.

The weekend flew by until Sunday night came and your phone buzzed. You looked down and horror filled your body. Tomorrow was parent conferences. It wasn’t mandatory for parents but encouraged. Suddenly, you were tearing through your apartment trying to prepare for the upcoming doom.

Before you knew it, parent conferences were upon you. Aether wasn’t attending because it wasn’t mandatory and you insisted he go home and rest. He had done so much for you already, you didn’t want him to suffer through it with you. You looked up as somebody knocked on your class door and opened it to see two beautiful blondes.

“Hello, is this Miss Bright’s room?” The woman’s blue eyes met yours.

“Yes,” You held your hand out, “Hello, I’m Miss Bright.”

The woman shook your hand, “I am Jean, Klee’s guardian. This is her older brother Albedo.”

The young man’s beautiful eyes bore into you as he shook your hand. You stepped aside and gestured to the tables in your room. The two took their seats and almost immediately a tall red haired man sauntered up to you.

“Hello!” His tone was cheerful, “I’m Childe, Teucer’s older brother!”

“A pleasure to meet you, Childe. I am Miss Bright.”

“Ah,” a crooked smile formed on his lips, “The pleasure is all mine. You are just as beautiful as Teucer claimed.”

You blushed and laughed nervously, but before you could answer he was shoved into your room. He turned to glare at the two dark haired men in the doorway. Huffing, he found his way to a table and sat.

“So annoying.” The shorter of the two men scowled.

The taller one sighed, “Hello, Miss Bright. My name is Zhongli, and this is my cousin Xiao. We are Qiqi’s foster family.”

Xiao stomped past you, Zhongli followed him quickly. You didn’t have time to introduce yourself to either of them before they sat down.

“How rude,” A smooth voice came from your door.

Two men stood there, a tan man with dark hair and a very familiar red head. Internally, you groaned at the sight of the bartender. It was going to be a long conference wasn’t it? You were glad you had organized your agenda so well.

“Diluc. Guardian of Diona, and this is my brother Kaeya.” The redhead said almost sternly.

He strolled through the doorway to sit at a table, all four families spread out. Kaeya winked at you and followed his brother. Now you were sure the night would be long.

No other families came, and you were left alone with the strange bunch. In the back of your mind, you were thinking of your roster and the asterisks. The irony in all of it was that the troublemaker’s parents were the only ones who showed. The room was quiet, families only talking among themselves. You cleared your throat and introduced yourself once more, starting in to your very planned speech.

A short time had passed but it felt like years to you. You felt incredibly awkward but continued on. Childe raised his hand which nearly made you laugh but you contained your amusement and paused.

“Yes?” You called out to him.

The lanky man smirked, “I’m sorry but what sort of vision do you use?”

“I will address that later on.” Your voice was kind but also stern.

This response earned several looks from the families listening. All of a sudden, their full attention was on you. The change of atmosphere had put you on edge. You tried to continue on but Childe stood abruptly.

“That’s an interesting response.” He chuckled.

“Tartaglia!” Jean intervened, “Thats enough.”

Kaeya kicked his feet up on the table, “You can’t say you’re not curious though, right? It’s only natural we want to know. This school has just as much focus on vision skills as academic skills.”

You were beginning to grow irritated. The children were more respectful than the adults. Composing yourself, you sighed. Nobody denied Kaeya’s words, although Zhongli and Jean seemed to disapprove of the attitude.

“As i said before i will-“ you were interrupted again by an arrow of water, you easily side stepped it.

Jean stood, sword in hand and glared at Childe. Diluc shoved his brother’s feet off the table and scowled. Albedo yawned while Xiao clicked his tongue. Zhongli merely observed the scene. Childe cackled at Jean which only angered her more as she dove at him.

You opened your mouth to say something but were forced to dodge a cold sword. Kaeya grinned at you but was yanked back by Zhongli. The room was in utter chaos. You gritted your teeth and once more tried to remain calm. Another arrow narrowly missed your ear and you felt yourself become enraged. Kaeya dodged Zhongli and thrust his sword at you but was stopped by a sharp pillar of light.

“That’s enough.” Your voice was cold as you used your own weapon to shove the pushy cryo wielder away from you.

As if by magic, suddenly everyone stopped to stare at you. Quickly, they sat down. Albedo’s eyes were alert now, he was suddenly interested in every word you had to say. Even Xiao seemed to have a better attitude.

You continued your speech without any further interruptions. Finally, the end was in sight.

“And to answer your earlier question,” You pushed your hair back behind your ear to reveal your vision on an earring, “I am a light wielder. I will not take any questions on it. Have a wonderful night and thank you for coming.”

You turned and exited your classroom quickly as murmurs spread across the room. Light visions were only gifted to those who were recognized by multiple gods. Light was a strange element that could mold itself and change to take shape of different elements, although it wasn’t perfect. Elemental mastery took a lot of time and the light could only bend to your will for short periods of time. Using light as anything other than itself could backfire easily. Ontop of the many complications, attaining a light vision meant going through a crisis so terrible that multiple gods had to intervene. It was a blessing and a curse.

As you headed home, shivers ran down your back. You couldn’t help but feel that you were being watched or followed. You shook it off and returned home. It was just paranoid thoughts after a rough night.

After the conference, you seemed to be plagued by the families. Outside of work you ran into them constantly. It was nerve wracking.

“Miss Bright, Teucer loves you so much. He’d love to see you on the weekend. We could get lunch and then have a play date with him. What do ya say?” Childe grinned at you as you exited your classroom.

“Sorry, sir” An arm slid around your shoulders, “But i’m afraid she has plans for this weekend.”

You looked up to see the school librarian with a tight smile. Lisa was so kind, saving you from his shameless flirting. Although, she often seemed to flirt with you as well. You couldn’t really tell if she was being nice or flirting though.

He scowled and turned. Lisa laughed and squeezed you tighter. She escorted you out of the building, telling you about the new books the library had just received. Her eyes twinkled as you laughed at her puns and asked her questions about being a librarian.

“Excuse me,” A deep voice said “May I have a moment of Miss Bright’s time?”

You turned to see Zhongli, one of the only reasonable guardians you’d met. So far you’d not seen him after the meeting so you felt safer around him. Even Jean had appeared before you several times, though it didn’t seem intentional. You weren’t entirely sure but you’d swore you’d even seen Xiao lurking around when you were out.

“Of course,” You waved Lisa off.

She frowned and kissed your cheek before sauntering off. Zhongli raised his eyebrows as you laughed, clearly embarrassed. The nerve of that woman sometimes.

“Sorry, she’s a friend but she’s very affectionate,” you apologized quickly.

“Hm,” Zhongli nodded and stared at you intently, “I’m sorry to bother you but is there a way I could schedule another meeting with you? I would like to hear about Qiqi’s progress.”

Your heart nearly melted. He was so kind and it was refreshing.

“Of course! How about this weekend?” You beamed at him.

The two of you scheduled a conference lunch and parted ways. From afar, Diluc grimaced. He was curious about Diona’s behavior in school. She was a very moody child. Furthermore, he was curious about you. Kaeya had also pestered you for a date so the scarlet haired man was trying to find the right time to ask you. He didn’t want to come off the way he was sure Kaeya did.

“I would also like to attend the meeting.” Xiao announced to Zhongli once he got into the car.

“Too bad,” Zhongli chuckled “It’s one on one, you’ll have to schedule your own.”

Xiao huffed at his words. He disliked the idea of the two of you doing anything one on one. He couldn’t decide whether he was jealous of you or Zhongli. He decided it was you, since both Qiqi and Zhongli seemed to be infatuated with you. He clicked his tongue, Zhongli merely smiled, and Qiqi demanded coco goat milk.

“Does she like science?” Albedo questioned Klee.

“Miss Bright likes a lot of things I think.” Klee said, ice cream smeared on her face.

“I want to know more.” Albedo stated.

Klee grinned, “More ice cream?”

Albedo nodded, only hoping Jean wouldn’t catch them.

This new job had many opportunities open up for you. With so many people in pursuit of you, who would you choose?

Playing a Trick on the Children

Characters: Klee, Diona, Qiqi

Warnings: none

A/n: ima be honest for as long as I’ve played Genshin for, I have no child characters so this was a struggle for me to grasp their personalities

• Klee is a menace, therefore she often gets put into solitary confinement. While she’s there she’s coming up with concoctions for better explosives. But sometimes she’s bored and you sit on the other end of the door to entertain her.

• You liked to play pranks on her because you wanted to prove you were a better brother figure than Albedo. While Albedo was more serious, you were determined to be the cool brother.

• Klee would think it was very useful to detach limbs at will. She would be stunned and ask you to teach her your ways. When you revealed it was a prank she would chase you with a bomb for revenge.

“Ahh,” you fake shout, “Klee come look what your big brother discovered!” Klee came running from the other room with haste.

“What?” She asked bluntly.

“Look.” You angled yourself perfectly to her level and detached your thumb. “See? You see?” Her eyes lit up, stars were glistening from them in amazement.

“Woah, How did you do that! Teach me okay?” Once you got the reaction you wanted you dropped the act. Revealing your tricks you stuck your tongue out.

“bleh- get pranked.” Klee’s expression died down into one of anger.

“I hate, hate, hate you!” She tried to tackle you to no avail due to her height difference.

“Good luck short stuff~” you cooed in triumph.

• Diona is very suspicious and apprehensive towards you knowing your prankster tendencies. Despite her caution, she’s still naïve and wants to spend time with her older brother.

• You liked to prank Diona because it made her soften up a bit. She often tried to tie herself up with adult responsibilities being a bartender, but whenever you pranked her it was like she could be a child again.

• Diona’s initial reaction would be concern, when you revealed your tricks it would turn to anger, and finally after an hour or so she would ask you to teach her how to do it as well.

“Diona will you help me with something? I’ve made a terrible mistake,” she casually walks from one room to the other with only slight concern from previous pranks.

“This better be important, I’m working on a new drink that’s gonna chase all those evil adults away. I cannot be bothered.” She was so nonchalant it was almost sad.

“Look,” you showed her the trick, pretending to be in anguishing pain.

“Ah!” Diona’s facial expression turned into one of fear. “What are you doing!” She tried to back away from you, but you kept approaching until her back hit a wall.

“Just kidding~” you grinned revealing your secret. She was furious.

“How dare you,” she said as she punched you over and over again but with little damage being done.

• Qiqi is probably the smartest out of all the children in Liyue, but also the most forgetful. No matter if the prank was pulled five years ago or five hours ago she’ll most likely forget after a couple of minutes.

• Her reaction was so animated compared to her regular self, so you couldn’t help yourself but make this a daily endeavor against her.

• Qiqi would probably be shocked at first, questioning if she should write such a trick in her notebook to remember later. When you revealed the solution she would be disappointed and then forget about it within a second or two.

You were at Bubu Pharmacy helping Qiqi with the store, although it was an unusually slow afternoon. You decided with all this time to kill to play your daily prank.

“Qiqi take a look, your big brother has something to show you.” You lean over the counter so she can see. She only looks up with a stoic look. You disconnect your thumb and her mouth only opens slightly with her eyebrows furrowed.

“Oh-,” even though this reaction was mediocre, you rarely see Qiqi even have a reaction to anything. You cackle and reveal your secret fairly quickly because you knew you weren’t going to get anything else. Her facial features revert back to normal as she congratulates you.

“Wow cool.” You giggle a little, only for 10 minutes to pass and you attempt the trick again. No surprise to get the same reaction from her.

Genshin Impact Headcanons

These have been doing really well and I love making these so here’s more

Sleepovers. With the knights. Like Jean, Klee, Albedo, Kaeya, Lisa and Amber. There’d be so much food, cookies, pizzas, popcorn and pillow fights. Jean and Amber always win and you and Lisa end up ganging up on the two, then Kaeya ambushes you all with Klee while Albedo just watches.

Barbara loves trying new styles with you. She’ll experiment on her hair, maybe space buns or a beehive, but it always ends with her having a million hair ties and scrunchies on her wrist.

Because Aether is either a master chef or will end up burning water (depending if the player pays ATTENTION), you usually go hunting for food, fowl, carrots and juyeun chilies being your least favorite to find since the stupid crane fly off if you get within 5miles of them and carrots just don’t grow all of a sudden. He’ll come with you and somehow just find carrots and you end up lightly hitting his head with them.

Childe and mora. This man will spoil you, more than his little brother (and the traveler, stupid story quest.... that wasn’t even a lot of mora!!). He’ll get you custom dresses, special alcohol from his home and the prettiest jewelry.

Diluc does the same. He’ll make you sugar-frosted slime if you want. He gets you fitted for all your stuff and will get you anything you want (yes even those mushrooms for ascending Klee, Barbara and Mona)

Whenever Chongyun has an outburst, it may affect his way of how he thinks you perceive him. It’ll take lots of hugs and kisses from you to reassure him you still love him. He’ll feel a bit better and you end up making cold noodles for him.

Let Xinqiu read to you, or have tea with him. Zhongli too. They love doing those things with you.

Yanfei and contests. Something tells me she’s kinda competitive so race her to see who can get to Wangshu Inn first, or to Bubu Pharmacy.

So you’re out herb picking with QiQi and she’s climbing a cliff to get some Qingxu and ends up falling. You run around trying to catch her and end up diving into the waterfalls mouth. You hold her up and she looks at you, saying she’s fine and you drop you for a sec to let her spasm in the water.

Diona and hunting games. She will literally play the hunger games with you, using a random boar like a horse to catch even more boar, and when that’s done, she just kills that boar because she can.

HuTao loves telling ghost stories or urban legends, seeing who can make the other more scared. Spoiler... she wins. Always.

Women of BSD as Genshin Impact players

Kyouka Izumi- Assasin in the streets, babysitter in the... Genshin Impact

Kyouka is that cute, stubborn kid that overfixates on things. Atsushi is things. Look, we all know Kyo-chan is mad intelligent and talented and it shows in her game play. Right off the bat she got the sense of the gameplay of every type of character and decided what works best for her. She knows what type of team she's going for and knows how to manage her materials wisely.

When she plays alone, Kyouka works towards bettering her characters and pushing through the storyline. Her favourite way to play the game is with Atsushi, whether alone or in co-op with others. Playing with Jinko is a huge win-win situation for her - she helps him beat up whatever he needs to take down and complete puzzles, he gives her praises and gratitude. And materials, but seldom does she take them.

Her main job, though, is to protect Atsushi and his world from the otherworldly evil known as the suicidal maniac, Dazai Osamu. She's fairly successful.

Main Team: MC, Klee, Keqing, Rosaria

Sub Team: MC, Qiqi, Fischl, Hu Tao

Mains MC, both for her flexibility with elements and because she likes being the little sister to Atsushi's male MC.

Yosano Akiko- retired nurse, now a terrorist

Did you really think she'd stay a healer without having the sadistic satisfaction of hurting people in grotesque ways? Nay. She doesn't have a single healer on team. She either has a teammate who's a healer like Haruno, or she wastes abundance of food until she can teleport to a statue of the seven.

Her game play is on crack, basically. She has several energy spurs, sometimes several times a day, where she rages through the game, before losing interest and going shopping. It's very possible with her that days can pass before she feels like playing again. Then she binges the game for hours and repeat.

When i say she acts like on crack i mean it. She has rage in her veins instead of blood. She tanks her characters and goes out looking for fights with worst possible opponents. Hell, she'll under equip her party just to see how many mofos can she take down in weak state. Spoilers, a fair few. She does die quite a bit, and is almost always out of food, but she's just as stubborn as she's crazy. Those two thing correlate probably. Which is why she made Azdaha her bitch. Her party consists either of strong, hot milfs women like herself, or twinks. You won't see someone like Childe disrespecting her vibe.

Main Team: Beido, Venti, Hu Tao, Rozaria

Sub Team: Lisa, Yanfei, Ningguang, Xingqiu

Beido and Lisa main. Bad bitches only.

Naomi Tanizaki- the fangirl player

She basically collects the cutest characters possible.. That's how she chooses her characters, based on cuteness. She went for the hot ones first to pull her brother but she got jealous and changed her tactic. You know she's spending her money on character skins and certain banners. She's insanely lucky tho?? She got Qiqi on the standard banner as her first 5*, pulled Klee on her banner in little over four 10 pulles and got Diona eventually anyway. Baraba and Xiangling were free and she mained Xiangling untill Klee rolled in. She spent some money on Venti and was already in pity when Ganyu came around. She's fully ready to whale for Kokomi though.

Now i know i said she's incredibly lucky, right? Yeahh that luck has to turn against something to keep the balance and well... she's still crying over Chongyun.

She usually co-ops with her brother, it's a daily ritual. Loves co oping with everyone though, mostly Haruno, Atsushi and Kyouka. She made online friends as well. Actually, there is one person she co ops with almost as much as she does with her brother. IchiGawa is her Genshin bestie and they talk about their crushes and infatuations besides the game itself. Her friend is the only secret she keeps from her brother.

Main Team: Klee, Diona, Venti, Barbara

Sub Team: Razor, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Qiqi

A Klee main.

Haruno Kirako- the healer

Literal angel. You need her, i need her, ADA needs her, the president needs her, just... yes. Her whole team consists of support- healers and crowd control characters. She was a f2p at first, but realised she earns her own money and can spend it however she wishes and she chose the monthly cards.

She's a necessity, point blank. She can get intimidated by new foe at first, but when backed up by her friends, she becomes determined and flexible. Pays good attention to her teammates, most importantly, their health bars, and acts accordingly.

The only reason most of them made it as far as they have, being as reckless as they are.

Main Team: Albedo, Barbara, Jean, Venti

Sub Team: Qiqi, Noel, Jean, Xinyan

Mains Albedo and Barbara

Fan fact: She's very fascinated infatuated with Albedo!! He's even her home screen and has posters and key chain of him.

Gin Akutagawa- that cottagecore assassin

You may be wondering what that could even mean. Let me tell you, she brought Animal Crossing to Genshin Impact. Sure she takes care of her characters and they're pretty powerful, but she kicks ass in real life as well. The game is her little getaway, especially since Serenity pot has been introduced. She's been making away her home for her and her brother characters. You can see her chop wood, collect materials, taking pictures with her friends and her brother, sometimes of pretty scenery and cute moments. A very wholesome player.

She's the type to help her friends explore their world and help them find oculi, open chests, shrines, collect flowers, mine... She's very patient, but if she sees her co-op teammates struggle with something, she'll jump in to help do it herself untill told to back off. In which case she will listen and silently give her support, usually with the cheering stickers in the chat.

She's f2p! Sure, she could get the monthly card at least, as Ryunosuke told her, but she really wants to enjoy the game on her own terms and have what she does through her own effort and hard work. It just feels satisfying to her and more personal.

Main Team: Jean, Ayaka, Diluc, Barbara

Sub Team: Doesn't have one! She just changes characters if certain elements are needed.

Jean main!! She admirers the relationship her and Barbara have. While she's the younger of the two, she's taken the mantle of the older sibling, in a way, and is looking after her reckless as heck brother and cares for him like Jean does for Barbara. Jean is also a wonderful person in her eyes and Gin harbours great respect for the blonde.

Higuchi Ichiyo- IchiGawa 🤡

I love Higuchi so much, but my girl is a mess and a half. Help her, please. No, really, she needs help. She's been over compensating for not being dramatic and eye catching in the battlefield, and has now found a new way to prove herself to her Akutagawa-san. Problem is, as soon as she sees a potentially powerful character, she has to get them and boost them to the havens... yeahh, good thing you can't do loans in the game, otherwise she'd have sharks on her ass for having a bill as dramatic and eye catching as Tsunade's from Naruto. Our girl out there turning heads for wrong reasons. She's definitely spent her pay checks on the game "oh no no, i just buy the monthly subscription, ehe" ehe my ass, you bankrupt bitch. Baal is coming and she's looking to sell a kidney. No, it's not her own and no, it doesn't have anything to do with the game. It's a mission, for God's sake.

But hey, the game is a good investment for her! She even made a friend, one that totally understands her how she feels!! They're very alike as well, ready to do anything for the person they love. The two talk about love a lot and have bonded over it. Higuchi is actually a jealous and a protective type of person, so she hides her friend from Gin and Tachihara like snake hides it's legs. If only they knew 🤡. But it's better this way as they both have a certain sense of normalcy and familiarity they were missing in their daily lives. (Higuchi and Naomi meeting scenario when?)

Main Team: Xiao, Fischl, Xingqiu, Diluc

Sub Team: Baal (soon?), Venti, Ganyu, Zhongli

She mains Xiao because he reminds her of Akutagawa-san and yes, she uses characters from her sub team when playing with others.

Fan Fact: when she was asked why her username is IchiGawa, she said she's like a river 🤡 No, it does absolutely not stand for Ichiyo Akutagawa.

Ozaki Kouyo- the husbando and loli collector

Don't get the wrong idea when i said loli collector. She just needs to adopt them and look after them. She also enjoys watching her precious babies kick ass like her Kyouka. But that's a two way sword, because she gets angry when they die. Savage.

And yeahh, the real reason she's playing the game... Mr Zhongli. She switches often between eng and jpn audios because she can't decide which sounds sexier. Also, Mr Diluc? Yes, she would like to be served one sex on the beach please and thank you! Ah, Mr Kaeya, a perfect window of opportunity, yes.

She has a huge spot for the teenager group as well. Razor, Bennett, Fishl, Xiangling, Xingqiu and Chongyun are also her kids. She just finds them very precious (don't we all?).

Main Team: Zhongli, Kaeya, Bennett, Diluc

Sub Team: Diona, Klee, Qiqi, Sayu

A Zhongli and Diluc main.

Bonus:

Elise- the evil lackadaisical player

Mori found out about the game from Higuchi and Tachihara and introduced it to Elise, telling her she should make a team of sweet little girls like herself and have fun going on adventures around Teyvat. In response, Elise made a team that, not only does it not have a single child in it, but is using it to gaslight and bully Rintarou.

"Why aren't you smart and inventive like Albedo?"

"Why aren't you as passionate and persistent as Sucrose?"

"Look how capable, loved and admired Ningguang is. You could never."

"I wish i had someone as strong, caring, handsome and rich like Childe looking after me. He would treat me like a real princess. "

Mori has been crying rivers ever since.

Thing is, Elise isn't even that interest in the story. Actually, she couldn't care less. Some characters are interesting to her and she likes the graphics, but other than that, she's mostly playing the game to torture the greasy doctor (as she should).

Main Team: Albedo, Sucrose, Ningguang, Childe

Sub Team: doesn't have one

Doesn't have a main either, she plays whoever she feels like playing.

first, the basics/what we know based on character stories - kaeya's vision story (x) is long as hell but worth a refresher read, cause it talks about kaeya's internal struggle between his duty to khaenri'ah and his loyalty to diluc and crepus, and how crepus' death upset the balance. while it doesn't explicitly state a resolution to his struggle, it does go on to talk about how guilt consumed him over the fact that he didn't share in crepus' final moments nor in diluc's grieving - he'd instead stayed back, reminded of 'that ancient plot' (which i think we can safely assume to mean his supposed purpose in mondstadt, in service of khaenri'ah)

the vision story goes into the bare bones version of what happened that night - kaeya admitted the truth of who he was, he expected diluc's anger, diluc and kaeya crossed blades only for a rush of elemental power to overcome kaeya as he received his vision

what i find particularly interesting here is this line about kaeya receiving his vision: "But now, for the first time ever, he was facing his brother as his true self."

vision lore speculation incoming, because i think that it helps us better understand kaeya's situation

we've since learned (thanks inazuma) that a vision responds to (and is inextricably tied to) a person's ambition - i know i've talked before about theories with regards to why certain people receive certain elements, since i believe (someone correct me if i'm wrong) we know now for certain that visions are handed out by the archon of that element

i've speculated in the past that the motivator for a cryo vision was the fear of losing someone or something dear to them (this works well for a few chars: kaeya - diluc, diona - her father, qiqi - her life) but starts to get a little forced if it's applied to other cryo chars

but with a bigger pool of chars and a canon explanation for why one might receive a cryo vision, i think my revised assessment works better: the ambition that a cryo vision responds to is a relinquishing of a past self in pursuit of one's true self. or, perhaps a less optimistic take, the relinquishing of a fantasy life for a more complex but truer one

ganyu, setting aside her life as solely qilin and accepting both halves of herself when she took up her position among the liyue qixing. rosaria, choosing to fight for her life against those who would use and control her. eula, setting down her learned grievances in pursuit of a life and a 'vengeance' that felt right to her. chongyun's persistent desire to become a true exorcist. ayaka's acceptance of her leadership role and diligence in her study of skills (that did not come naturally to her) in order to represent her clan. diona's eschewing of her childish desire for her father to be the man she wanted him to be in favor of attempting to accept her father for who he is (she offers to mix him a drink once she knows that he's safe). for qiqi i think it could easily be taken in a literal sense - her past life ended, a new, more complicated one began

for kaeya, his vision story says it all: he gave up his idyllic life of a pretty lie in favor of being honest with diluc in who he truly is, even though that only makes his life more complicated. as was stated in his story, he feels "he must live the rest of his life under the heavy burden of lies"

[unrelated kaeya aside: in his story 2, it says "On the contrary, he actually enjoys putting people into the difficult position of making tough decisions." perhaps you're projecting a bit there, hm kaeya?]

ANYWAY all of this was basically to say that i think kaeya admitted the truth of who he was and why he was in mond, and 'expected diluc's anger' because he'd kept it secret this the whole time. had lived a whole life growing up with diluc and chose to stay silent. and diluc just lost his father for fuck's sake lmao so he's definitely emotionally overwhelmed

bc in kaeya's character story 5, he and diluc are described as "knowing each other's thoughts and intentions without a word", which says to me that they...basically told each other everything? knew each other too well, but kaeya had still chosen to hide this from diluc. of course diluc would feel betrayed, and of course kaeya would expect him to - he knows him well, after all

but he saw this fight as his punishment, or perhaps losing diluc as his punishment, or (if you want to be especially grim about it) maybe even losing his own life as a punishment for his secrecy - ultimately, though, i can't quite bring myself to believe that diluc cares necessarily about kaeya's actual ancestry (or like...even his supposed duty to khaenri'ah), more just...that he hid this from diluc

and i think that kaeya receiving his cryo vision, the perfect combatant to diluc's fire (well, sort of lmao) wasn't necessarily what stopped their fight - i think it gave diluc the chance to step back and breathe and see kaeya for a moment, outside of his own anger and hurt, and recognize that he didn't want to fight. he just didn't want to like. process his emotions either lmao (diluc bb u have some issues)

and so kaeya left, burdened with this vision (he describes it as the 'stern reminder' that he must live a life of lies), and he and diluc never really...figured their shit out. diluc ran away, kaeya learned to live without him

and kaeya, to me, seems to have developed that mindset of like...'diluc is exactly as he was that night and has not changed'. ie he seems to act as though diluc is still secretly angry with him, in spite of the evidence that shows that...well, he's probably still not processing those emotions BUT it does show that he cares still, somewhere in there (in his vision story, it says "He did not discuss the past. But he did not deny his past, either." and i wonder if he has his ways of showing that he did care, and probably still does - like the vase, like his continued choice to remain in kaeya's presence when there seems to be no need in the 'a child's secret' quest)
