This is by far the most unfaithful 'redesign' I've done so far. But that being said, I don't call myself a butcher for no reason.
I don't enjoy how TNR brings back dragons from the original series, as it's set far, far into the future the fact that those species still exist and are practically unchanged is well, weird to me. The fact that NIGHTLIGHTS still exist is also extremely odd to me, as they are a hybrid species they should be long gone due to the fact that Nightfuries have been long extinct (Toothless is an outlier).
This redesign is mainly just me having fun tbh. That's what most of my redesigns are. it's less what the og could've done better and more what I would find more interesting as a concept. There's quite a few tidal class dragons in the HTTYD franchise, yet there's not really any that are a 'main rider dragon.' This is one part appreciating Tidal class dragons and one part an ode to the book series.

I fantasized a little about what one of the first children of the Clearsight and Sunstrike could be like.
The dragonets are not related to the canonical ones mentioned in the book, here I was just thinking about the design.
Pantala dragons are quite different from Pyrrhyans, and because of this, it seems to me that the first cubs could turn out to be either deformed or with some mutations, defects. I also took into account that the genes in the wof are mainly from the mother, and my own design of beetlewings.
First Dragonet
He is devoid of any abilities, he does not have star scales and antennae have not grown, in the future there will be a very thick horn on his forehead, some scales have not grown evenly and fall off from the general group.
The second Dragonet:
He has grown a second pair of small wings that prevent him from flying, but he is trying to learn. Small wings don't move well. It also turned out to be a dirty color.
And the third one:
He was born under two full moons, but cannot perceive other dragon's thoughts in words, sees only pictures that often confuse him. Mutated horns with growths and too small wings, with large wing elytras, most likely he will not be able to fly. There is a poisonous thorn on the tail.

Twilight Sparkle as a nightwing!
Twilight Reader is a nightwing who was born under two full moons. She has the ability to see flashes of the future and read emotions, however she doesn’t always understand them. She is very intelligent and ambitious, of which caught the eye of the Monarch, Celestia (of whom I have yet to workshop the name of). She also has a human companion named Spike because I hate when people make him a pet, he is not a pet.

Beast of Vengeance
Quest - Hunt Maul
Threat Level - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Species: Brute Wyvern (Yes he is because I say so leave your nit pick correcting comments to yourself I have had enough of them.)
Elements: Fire
Ailments: Fire Blight, Bleed
Location(s): Coruscant, Dathomir, Mandalore
The dreaded, nomadic Maul is an invasive danger to all ecosystems it persists in. When natural food sources are low, the wyvern can survive for a long while off the energy and malice it produces in its body. It’s memory is long, and it’s ambition is great.
