#Fenton parents
Text
Danny lands at the feet of his cloning template, and in a desperate bid to not get murdered by said template, he gave a wry smile before saying, "HI, dad." He then used the moment of stunned silence to escape.
A week later, he regrets his decision as he walks down the stairs to find his template in his living room, interrogating his tied up parents.

Fenton parents make an invention to reverse a ghost's evil impulses!" It actually brings a ghost's instincts forward. The effects last about two weeks.
The Fentons are in Gotham when they get the chance to use it on Phantom.
Good news: it happens near the Bats, so he's quickly rescued.
Bad news: baby ghost instinct wants parents and turned human to get reassurance. That did not happen and now Red Hood has a crying, keening teenager shaped leech.

Ecto-Cream
You know how a lot of people use Vix-Vaporub a lot and just slather it on everywhere when you are sick or hurt, to the point it kinda became a meme?
Oh, you have anxiety? Here put on some Vix-Vaporub!
You broke a bone? Have some Vix-Vaporub!
Have stage 4 cancer? Vix-vaporub!
That!, but what if it was ecto?
The Fenton's invented it and it actually works! A little too well to be honest.
The memes? To Amity Parker's, not memes totally legit.
Suddenly they have the cure for everything with just this 'simple' cream
Now imagine Danny goes to Gotham for University or an internship, and the people around just witnessed him getting Jocker Gassed, totally freaking out right?
and Danny?
He just casually takes out this bright somehow green glowing cream from his pocket and starts rubbing it on his nose and chest, and is somehow fine!?
What the hell?!

Just an Idea

Danny with the red Light saber
NOT a StarWars crossover
It all started when his parents created a red light saber. Something about they won't see it coming when the attack isn't green!
Well, Danny had to play with it in the Ghost Zone. He learned the "force" already, and now it's time to have fun!
So. He did talk to Clockwork about him being sent on an adventure!
And the first thing he gets is an robot invasion of the city.
And so he could use that light saber and the force to fight and help the town. Before he left, he could tell his parents.
The saber works, but he won't give it back; it's a gift now for him!
For the town that knew Star Wars, all they needed to see was the red light saber!!
And the first words the Justice League heard were from the people of the city.
"The child Padawan will become a Sith! We need to help!"

Imagine if Danny and Jazz manage to somehow convince their parents that Dani and Dan are their respective twins who were just off at school for the last year or so. Tucker photoshops pictures to include them in the family photo alblum, and Sam helps gaslight the town into thinking that yes, these two have definitely always lived in Amity, they were just gone for the year and are back for summer vacation. Danielle already has a matching name for Daniel, even if she prefers Ellie, just as he prefers Danny. But people don't really believe that even the Fentons would name three of their four kids with variations of Dan. So Danny and Ellie claim that Dan is a nickname, even if Wes is practically foaming at the mouth because everything is so obvious to him. (It isn't coincidence that suddenly two more Phantom siblings appeared, why won't people listen?!) Which means people are asking the two what their older brother's name actually is. When someone gets the bright idea to ask for Dan's full name from Jazz, she panics slightly and blurts out it's Jordan.
Dan doesn't know whether to be angry or pleased with the fact his sister gave him a new name.

Danny when his parents end up on the Justice League's radar: begrudgingly admitting they might dangerous to people. Doesn't fight their arrest.
Danny when Batman tries to adopt him: it was a trap! A new fruit loop's attempt to adopt me, just like Vlad!

gasp. Big dramatic gasp.
Gotham is my Homeland Prompt
Okay, so we remember No Man’s Land right? Where there was an earthquake and then US government shut down Gotham with people still inside?
But before that, there was mass evacuation right?
Enough that some of them were probably traveling in groups, and looking for low cost of living because they were now functionally homeless.
The best cost of living these days is in the Midwest.
It wouldn’t be a stretch to have a group of people, even just a few… move to Illinois after the evacuation.
Some small town.
And sure people think they’re weird, but they’re from Gotham. That’s par for the course.
And when Gotham opens back up? Some people move back, but not many.
Specifically not one couple, found through college after getting the same scholarship and bonding over their shared experience. They’ve already got two lovely kids, they’ve settled down in their small town now.
And that’s how the Fentons began to call Amity home.
Right up until Wayne Enterprises bought a contract with them for within the city, and well… Gotham is their homeland, they might as well.
So the Fentons return to Gotham. This time, a family.

UA or the ghosts are the fusion of all versions of either of the multiverse.
That is to say that all the Dannys are caught in the portal. Only one Danny is spat out.
So there are multitudes of Sam and Tucker who hear Danny screaming then nothing, no trace of Danny.
But that's not all, in another universe, it's Jazz who is with Danny, in another he is friends with the A listers, in another his parents persisted and did not leave the laboratory
In most cases people assume that Danny was disintegrated… but in a world where magic exists? Or is there a spell to verify that Danny wasn't spit out elsewhere? or this spell declares Danny still alive (at the time of the spell he was in Fenton mode, fortunately) but in another world.
What would the Fentons do? an expedition obviously!!!
Danny wasn't doing well, that was the least we could say, his parents had caught him Phantom with a tranquilizer fenton dart, he woke up in Fenton tied to a dissection table still too drugged too confused to understand the situation and react
Then all of a sudden a golden portal opens and his color-changing parents (his father in cyan and his mother in orange) come out of the portal and attack his other parents ( as they prepared the dissection tools and debated what to do today and in what order )
Fenton VS Fenton
Constantine or DrStrange exhausted turns to Danny… damn the child watching the battle between the two pairs of parents with confusion had the aura of a member of the infinite… and even better, he apparently had rights to claim the crown of the infinite realm…
OK They were apparently going to repatriate the poor kid

Imagen the BatFam hearing about a ghost hunters con happening in Gotham and there was an event that promised a “live dissection” this setting off all sorts of red flags Bruce sends Tim and Dick to investigate.
Dick and Tim get there and conserved with how many wackos there are. And are startled to find so many different types of weapons that promised to shoot through an ecto-entity with no issue and to do no harm to normal humans.
Dick: “this is bad, and we haven’t even found the “live dissection” yet…”
Tim: “maybe we should call for back up?”
They send out a message to the rest of the family and continue. They find the room that the dissection was supposed to take place and found two people with the same style of wacko as the rest of the people in the rest of the building. They talked back and forth about this entity they called Phantom next to them was a large cube covered by a sheet.
-
Tim and Dick sneak over and peak under the sheet and staring back at them with large green eyes filled with fear was a glowing teen tied up in what looks like a straight jacket with a muzzle over his face. The teen flung himself at the opposite side of the cage with enough force to make a sound drawing the attention of the two scientists. They turn and smile down at Tim and Dick like they were two lost children.
The woman smiles at them and asked if they were here for the dissection. And the man boasted about how it’s so good to see young people interested in the science behind ghosts.
Dick stands up and glares at them saying “you can’t do this!”
The scientists laugh and the woman says, “oh don’t worry sweety! It’s perfectly safe! We’ve done this before and even if it escapes we have an electro magnetic chip implanted in it so we are able to track it!”
“No! That’s a kid! This is vivisection.” Duck shouts
The giant of a man smiled and lowered himself to Dicks eye level, “it has to be alive for it to be a vivisection, that’s a ghost!” The woman came up beside him.
“It’s just a ghost, the leftover consciousness of the dead.” She says and she glared at the teen, “this particular ghost was pretending to be my son!” She spits out.
Meanwhile while all that was happening Tim was kneeling down to look at the teen (probably a meta) “hey.” He says softly, “I’m gonna try and get you out of there, ok?”
Danny starred with wide eyes “please-” he said in a broken voice, barely above a whisper.
It’s up to y’all of what happens next!

I see all of your "Danny runs away after a reveal gone wrong, ends up in Gotham and is eventually adopted into the BatFam (or BatPham, if you will)" and raise you:
a newly (half) resurrected Jason Todd ends up wandering the Ghost Zone until Danny finds him and takes him home with his loving and understanding parents after a reveal gone right, to help him deal with being a halfa and his new powers in a place where ghosts are such a common sight he won't really stand out and gain unwanted attention, with people that already have experience in this kind of situation and only want the best for him, where he has access to the Zone and enough ambient ectoplasm anyway to help him purge the rotten lazarus water out of his core and purify the ectoplasm in his body
and maybe the Fentons aren't perfect, but they do try, because they couldn't be there for Danny when his powers had just started showing and he had to learn on his own, hurt, stressed and about to collapse every day, and they won't be making the same mistake twice, when there is a boy that needs help and a stable home; they'll do better
and Jason still finds out about Joker being alive, about the new Robin that joined Batman, and he still is angry and heartbroken, but there is no Pit Madness to make him take The Worst Possible Choices, he doesn't beat Tim, doesn't become a crimelord, he doesn't kill. he faces his mentor, his father, and still tells him "I thought I'd be the last person you'd ever let him hurt", and there is so much baggage, so many "should have", "could have", "would have"s for them to be on good terms right now, to be a family again
but Jason is not alone (he never was, in either reality, not really anyway. he could have gone home in both worlds, his family missed him, but only in this one he knows he has a home, even if he doesn't really believe he could have two), and when he goes back to where he feels safe and welcome, where he knows for a fact a new addition is not a replacement (Danielle is there, after all), in that building with a giant sign and a space ship on top (no matter what Danny says, that's what he still calls the OPS center), he is welcome back with open arms and his favourite chilli dogs waiting for him
he has a family in Amity too
and he knows, deep down, that if someone tried to really hurt him again, this set of parents will not hesitate to go for the kill

I think that Jazz would have a deep-seated hatred for Christmas like Danny has, but she hides it much better as it's one of the many feelings she hides for her family's sake.

You know, if Danny had his accident when his parents weren't home and they ended up knowing about it, they'd probably never leave his butt home alone/without supervision again.
"Why does your 16yo son need a babysitter?"
"Oh, we left him home alone once when he was 14. He played with a piece of high voltage equipment and nearly fried himself."

Let’s be honest the Fenton parents are crazy. If their kid got kidnapped and ransomed for some money, they would totally negotiate for less money of a ransom and get them to do their work for them.

I like the thought of nice and supporting Fenton parents.
BUT
I also like the thought of them being psychopaths.
Vlad getting a heavy punch of corrupted plasma in his face?
Might have been an accident. Though vlad as well as Maddie knew how Jack is, so why ever would Maddie let jack close to the controls, even activate it while vlad was in front of it?
And why did none of these two ever visit vlad? Not in the hospital and not after either?
And even though this happened they still worked on a bigger portal, even though the first small one malfunctioned so badly.
And then they say it doesn't work?
Maybe we can believe that jack was scatter brained enough to put the on off switch inside the portal and forget, but we know Maddie is not like that. She knows her husband.
She would know to take a closer look. And it is not like the switch was hidden, just inside the portal. They should have seen it.. But didn't?
Or did Maddie know, did Jack know?
Was the whole "it doesn't work" thing just an excuse for when they would take someone down there with them and an "accident" happens?
Perhaps they never wanted one of their children to fall into that trap, but perhaps they had plans for someone else. Perhaps to recreate the accident in college on a bigger scale and see what happens.
Cause curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back. And these two are very curious indeed.

Danny Phantom Friendly Fentons AU: What if Danny’s Parents were more open-minded and slowly realize that the Phantom Boy isn’t evil?… What if by the end of Season 1, they finally see Phantom as a hero?… What if Vlad turned Valerie into an angry Ghost-Hunter, because Danny’s Parents had stopped hunting him? 💚
It'd certainly be interesting. And it'd definitely put a lot of tension between Danny & Valorie.
Though, I think it should be pushed back to season 2, personally. But that's just me.
I also feel like it should take longer for Maddie as I just generally see Jack as being more open-minded.
I tend to hc that her family was haunted by a poltergeist when she was very young & she ended up having to figure out how to get rid of it herself using science & used up ectoplasm left behind by said poltergeist because the people that her family hired to get rid of it all ended up being scam artists.
This was later reinforced when her nephew was kidnapped by ghosts while her sister's family was visiting.
This could eventually result in interesting character conflict between her & Jack. In fact, I don't see her changing her opinion until after she's learned about Danny's identity & went through the science of it. Whether by examining his DNA herself or what-have-you. Otherwise, she'll just think he was being possessed or that he was legit killed by a ghost & was replaced by whatever ghost killed him or died & came back as a ghost. The last one, she tries not to think about.
And even when she does finally believe it, she'll have this belief that he's the exception to the rule due to him being half human.
Like, my thoughts are that though she's very smart & the core thing that she falls back on is science when everything else in her life fails her, she's actually very biased. By this I mean that while she spouts out that ghosts are incapable of feeling emotions or really thinking & are just the imprint of a post-human consciousness, in the same breath, she calls them scum & evil. But the thing is that, if she really believed these things, then much like animals, she'd believe them incapable of evil or malicious intent because evil is defined by actively choosing to do bad things. It isn't something that anything without a true consciousness or freewill could be.
In this way, I see her as using that sort of language to take out her aggression on ghosts to make herself feel better. At the same time, I believe that the true root of her anger as ghosts is in the powerlessness she felt at having been unable to save her father, who in my hc, was a police officer who died fighting against the KKK. (This is based on the Grandpappy Walker fanfic on Fanfiction.net.) She was only a little girl at the time, but it still left an impact on her. That helplessness became a poison that turned into frustration & anger.
After his death, her mother & sisters moved up north, but the house was haunted. Part of why she latched so hard onto ghosthunting was because getting rid of the poltergeist allowed her to feel a sense of control over her life & like she was keeping her daddy's memory alive by keeping her family safe.
Anyway, it would take a lot of deprogramming & exposure to get her to admit that she was wrong. Partially because, much like Jazz, I see her as having a bit of a need to be right.
