I want someone to write a bleach AU where Ichigo meets Rukia in his early twenties when he's a stressed out college student trying to figure out what he want to do with his life after trying to go down a medical route and not liking it but not knowing what else to do (I'm projecting so hard but we're ignoring that)

The chaotic potential of Ichigo going through his classes and having to run out randomly to deal with a hollow, of rukia attending his classes with him without formally being a student, of the chaos Kon would create

Give me architecture student Orihime that he occasionnaly talks to because of mutual friends like Tatsuki. Give me fashion design student Ishida that Ichigo doesn't recognize because he never bothered to know his classmates beyond a few here and there and Ishida definitely wasn't one of them.

Give me vet student Chad that has like three cats in his and Ichigo's shared dorm that are definitely not supposed to be there but Ichigo loves them. Rukia absolutely loves them as well.

unhinged ichigo fighting hollows the same way he used to fight those gang members in high school because he wants the adrenaline rush. He would probably get on with Shiro a little better too XD.

Ichigo, who started seeing hollows when he was like sixteen after being attacked by them. Ichigo, who has a weird little power that he doesn't quite know how to use that looks like this weird fullbring thing except without the pass so it's more of like a quincy arrow just not the usual blue colour. It's not really powerful enought to fully take out a hollow cause he doesn't know how to control it but it protects him long enough to get away

It's an interesting idea, to have him see hollows but not be strong enough to fight them the way he usually does for a long time until Rukia comes along. His attitude towards the whole thing would be a little different as well.

Also having spiritually aware Inoue, Chad, and Tatsuki but the former two don't have their powers because they haven't been fully exposed to Ichigo's leaking reiatsu when he gets his soul reaper powers.

Having Tatsuki be closer to Ichigo because of this is a nice touch too, cause now the two of them can both see spirits and Ichigo doesn't quite feel as lonely as he used. The two of them having a rekindled friendship makes me happy for some reason and idk, her just teasing Inoue for having a crush on him and like, plotting to get them together with some help from Rukia when she arrives because she likes to tease Ichigo about Orihime all the time

Oh, and her having a water style fullbring that she incorporates into her martial arts and creates something like Fishman Karate from One piece would be super cool too. She just gives me water vibes for some reason

Also, Ichigo not being teen makes him far less susceptible to manipulation from the adults in his life, more mature, and probably less forgiving— that last part is because I want Ichigo to punch Urahara for what he did to Rukia in the SS arc because I sort of hate that he was forgiven so easily like Rukia didn’t even seem to care???

That makes me so angry for some reason. Like I like Urahara’s character but it doesn’t take away from the fact that he’s a shady shit. I feel like older Ichigo would be less tolerant of his antics than teen Ichigo

Idk, it just seems like such a funny idea to me-- chaotic substitute soul reaper Ichigo + College stress and the existential crisis of trying to figure out what the fuck you wanna do with your life = hilarity

(I'm projecting so hard, someone help me, my coping mechanism for stress is escapism and I've missed like three deadlines and there's like two weeks before school starts and I haven't even gotten around to making my schedule yet, I'm dying pls)

I just went to the kny premiere and this is my OOTD.

Since my hair is partially dyed pink, I went for a Mitsuri inspired look. I braided my hair, wore her shirt (that I got from the swordsmith premiere) and wore all her colors (pink white jacket, green skirt, and flower patterned socks.) Also close up of my pink hair below.

I got this idea when me and my friend were window shopping for clothes. We were talking abt which clothes the kny characters would wear and which ones our oc would wear too, so that's how we thought of doing some casual cosplay during the priemere.

My friend went for a subtle Tengen look, with a simple black outfit, since Tengen doesnt wear a haori. He also wore some jewelry as an homage to Tengens flashiness. He also loves Zenitsu so ofc he wore a Zenitsu bag.

The theater has less people and wasn't as lively as the Swordsmith premiere, probably cuz we went at the wrong time, but hey, more room for us to be unhinged without disrupting anyone tho haha. (I was sad not to see any cosplayers, we intended to bring our cosplayer friend too, but she was busy)

There was a display so we took lots of pictures. We even made sure to stand next to our fictional crushes, me with Giyuu and my friend with Tengen.

Anyways here's what I thought abt the movie so far

-first of all I LOVE IT. I have no idea how much I miss seeing the rest of the characters so much. The Hashira Training arc is an arc that I really adore, bc it's one of the few moments where we get to see the characters slow down a bit. My friend says he finds it to be the most boring arc, but idk, with all the action in KNY I dig for some "boringness" once in awhile. Also we were joking abt how this arc is like the "school festival arc" or "beach episode" of KNY, again, one of the reasons to love this arc.

-I Never thought much about Sanemi and Obanai's dynamic before. I just know they are a besties, but this filler really made me interested in them! Snake breathing and Wind breathing visuals were just sooo cool!!

-Have I mention that I miss the cast so much, but also I find myself foaming at the mouth everytime I see Giyuu 💀🤣 I noticed that there seems to be a sad piano music that's playing when he was trying to leave the meeting (I wonder if that is his ost) meanwhile my friend is foaming at the mouth everytime he sees Tengen.

-I feel bad for anyone in the butterfly estate who had to sleep next to Zenitsu and Inosuke. XD

-Also it's so nice to see some Kanao and Shinobu moment! Shinobu looks extra gorgeous I noticed. They really yassified her this season, and I'm not complaining. Also I like how even after Giyuu left, Shinobu tried her best to include him when they were discussing the pillar training. I wish they didnt cut it short though, I wanna know what they talk about Giyuu behind close doors so bad lol.

-Mitsuri's "Tanjiro speech" was so well executed and adorable, and just when I thought it couldn't get more expressive in the manga, then they even added her ost, and it was just perfect! Kanahana knock it out of the park with this one too! Even if there weren't alot of people watching. I did hear some giggles in this scene (including ourselves)

-Overall, it was a very satisfying watch. I really enjoy this arc for being some of the slower moments before the storm that is the final arc, and I think they managed to nail that! All the little things such as the filler of Tamayo being informed about Shinobu helping her, and some scenes that were rearranged, made the flow of the story go more smoothly.

-Also yes the op really slaps.

Speaking of our cosplayer friend that we mentioned before, after we were done with movie, it's almost as if there was some fate or foreshadowing going on bc we did end up stumbling upon her (though not in cosplay) and we ended up going back to take better pictures with her in it!

He, in a round about way, was hinting to the fact that why is it this seasons Scar is more chaotic? As he kind of likes how unhinged and bloodthirsty he’s being.

And I’m over here like “dude I think you missed many things he did in Last Life. You kept this man on a leash in Double Life. Scar is an unhinged being of pure destruction, Cleo just allows him to run free with tnt!”

Like, Grian, people weren’t joking when they said they fear Scar and are lucky they got away with their armor still. XD

Ok so actually I never reblog the sleepover asks but let's go I guess XD Also the pictures where kind of funny ok

No seriously thank you for the question! I'm glad to got asks so I will gladly answer! But before talking about my lil current bread cats (help that was in winter!) I will talk about all the pets I ever got (we got a couple of fish as a child but they don't count, and there's currently a big red fish white now lol at my parents home.)

Patate (his name basically means potatoes I know) he was a black and white cat my parent got before their wedding and my birth. He died when I was around 4 I think. He was a really kind and cool cat. He even tried to sleep in my bed when I wasn't there XD Before my parents wedding (2y before my birth) my mom had to go to the hospital... when she came back the cat wasn't happy XD but forgive her eventually. Likewise for my birth we stay one week at the maternity he was a bit confuse but warmed up fast from what they told me.

Noisette. When I was hm 9y? I think? We got her from a friend of my mother. She was a white and red cat and only kitten of the litter. As the kitten she was really sweet but as adult idk she become agressive and caracterial. My lil bro was really scared and she started to attack us. So we had to gave her to a shelter... I hope she's doing great.. BUT before she leave she left us with 2 adorable angels :)

Cookie & Tigrou : My dearest baby cats ❤️ They are the sons of Noisette and were born in our house. I remember when they were kitten they slept both with me. Cookie was almost all white with a red tail and a few red spot on the forehead, ears and neck. Sadly he died when he was 1-2 years old.. I couldn't even see him before he was buried. That was a long time ago.

As for his brother Tigrou :) (named Tigre originally and on his papers lol) it's him! he's 12 years now I think! yeah it's my lil baby boy I love him so much.

Praline : A few years (3years??) ago, I discover a young and wild cat/kitten in our backward who was hiding. A little female. She end up sticking around and our cat tolerated her. Still she stay really afraid of humans and she can't live in a home for too long. You can't just take her in our arms and walk I got hurt the hard way XD Still there is occasion you can approach her and caress her.

And! She got 2 litters and even birth the first one my room damnit XD So for the first litter, 4 adorable kittens.<3

(2 male, one black and the tabby one & 2 females with black fur, the last one here being the one with long fur)

It was during quarantine I had all the time to take care of them. My recommandations: don't let unhinged kitten in your room h24 :) it's a bad idea. I miss them a lot but they all have super families now.

One of her daughter had long fur, i don’t have pictures on this phone but she is so pretty now.

A few months later we didn't managed to sterilize her in time and she got another litter. 6 kitten. I don't wanna talk about it but all you need to know is that we ended up with 3 kitten that grow up healthy and all have family now. (2 female : the marble and black one and a male, the tabby one). (The marble one was adopted by my uncle & cousins too)

I am doing my studies overseas so I can't really saw them now and it pained me so much ;-; but I know my parents & brother are talking good care of them.

Lo'gosh/Vari revamps! full body w/ comparisons to the og designs + alt looks + my mad rambling under the cut!

Do keep in mind these are my takes on the character and this is for my fic that's in the works where i'm doing some MASSIVE retconning of story and world building to 1, feed my brainworms because this *is* a warcraft x ffxiv crossover and 2, keep my fucking sanity because blizz retcons their own shit so much and the way they handle characters so inconsistently it makes me violently angry i fucking hate the books with every fiber of my being

I'm more than happy to give clarifications on some of my ideas just be aware that i might sound unhinged as i explain the ideas i've cultivated in my brain case for literal years like a conspiracy theorist so without further ado LET'S GO!

First things first let's get into Lo'gosh!

He starts off with his OG look as functionally it works and it's an iconic look in a ring where your gladiators are being pitted against guys who are damn near naked you don't want to disadvantage them with too much armor

the only few changes i made was switching out the sash for some more straps and the armored pieces are not nearly as bulky (i did straight up forget his spikes but i'll add them another time when i have a bit more time so just imagine they are there lmao)

But as iconic as the look is his clothes do deteriorate especially as my version of lo'gosh gets tossed around on the regular (think of captain america's "i can do this all day" while bloodied and beat the fuck up) on top of because it being such an iconic look Lo'gosh would need a change of clothes to replace the torn ones he was given as well as make him blend in a little more with your common adventurers, so when he meets up with allies in the eastern kingdoms he gets some new drip

he does hold onto the old armor pieces as to hold on to the lo'gosh identity for as long as he can before he has to return to being Varian Wrynn (to build more upon his feelings of "i don't know this varian, is that really the life i want?" in issue 7 of the comics because it was such a missed opportunity for internal conflict, we love a man who's struggling emotionally)

Storywise i felt that rather than have him be the strong willed half of Varian while the other half is more "weak willed" instead Lo'gosh and Vari represent two different sides of his ideals, attitude, and how he expresses love (yes we are going FULL fuckin' cheese mode here) Lo'gosh would represent the rebellious side of Varian, the one who would try so desperately to escape because he just wants to be free. Pre-split this would present most in his younger self who would regularly sneak out to have fun and support his people, away from the pressures of his duties that would later on take away any minuscule amount of freedom he had in his life. Lo'gosh also represents Varian's strong sense of justice, never afraid and not even hesitating to throw himself on the line to defend complete strangers because (unknowingly to Lo'gosh for most of the story) his past with a young abused girl that he once called best friend along with Arthas very much ingrained it into his head that he would never leave anyone who takes advantage of others and hurts them like how he had failed that girl

Lo'gosh is the side of Varian that's a force of nature that will act on the spot to protect others, unwilling to back down and has absolutely zero fucking idea on when to just give up (granted giving up seems more like a made-up concept to him)

When it comes to Vari (the nickname i gave to the more charming/gentle dad side of Varian just for the sake of making it less confusing) I do have a lot more to say so buckle the fuck up XD;;

In terms of design i fuckin' hate his pajama suit, i tried to redeem it, i very much did, but it wasn't workin' out for me XD It makes sense in that when it comes to Vari i very much see him as being extremely insecure, and so while katrana bumps up his charm to obnoxious levels the actual charisma he displays is a mask to try and hide his struggle. So it makes sense for him to make himself seem less regal and wear as simple as clothing as he can outside of obvious formal affairs and Katrana would very much prey on this especially as corrupt black dragons lean on self-importance and ego and so she'd make herself wear purples and reds while Vari blends more in with the crowd, she makes it so your eyes go to her rather than the fuckin king because she has manipulated her way to the top and holds all the power over him

But the whole body suit deal? uglier than sin, this ain't your wish medieval batman costume so for my redesign i gave Vari this

it was a combination of norse inspired renfaire tunics and as well as the outfits in one of my favorite movies; Quest for camelot (as King Arthur was a minor inspiration for my version of Varian)

And as for armor it does still have close resemblance to the og look in the comics but gave it a bit more bulk and baggyness in some areas as i imagine Vari representing the protection spec while Lo'gosh is of course fury, so to take a bit more of a beating he's got more protection

Vari being the half of Varian that retained his memories, he carries the brunt of the trauma and guilt brought on by all the trials and horrific events he's experienced but to cover his pain not only to try and hide from it but also in an attempt to protect his son and be there for his people (the mask of "everything's just fine" while the wearer of that mask is actively drowning). But Vari also carries the fatherly attitude of Varian, this is the half that presents Varian's love of his son the absolute most and for him he's willing to literally jump off a cliff just to save him. Vari will defend those he loves with his life.

Lo'gosh: Offensive Vari: Defensive

Together they are the two halves of one ballsy motherfucker you really do not wanna piss off

Anywho if you've made it this far i personally applaud you for subjecting yourself to my madness, i hope it was at least entertaining and a fun read!

I can't bear it any longer. I have to share my thoughts on the Mario Movie because I have next to no one in real life to gush over this with and the next best thing is to scream into the lonely Tumblr void.

SPOILERS BELOW

I gotta say like 90% of the criticism levelled against this movie by critics and fans and haters alike can be countered with 'it's made for a target market of 6 to 12 year olds, adjust your expectations.'

LUIGI IS BEST BOY

NO REALLY

I don't get people who are upset that he's not in the movie more because Mario's entire reason for existing is to save Luigi. Luigi is endgame.

Seriously Mario gets his ass handed to him so many times in this movie. Almost everyone in this film got to take a whack at him, even Peach XD The Bowser/Mario fight at the end, poor lad could barely stand and STILL faced off with Bowser. Tenacious little bugger.

Knowing that Mario would throw himself into such physical danger to save Luigi is both heart-warming and heart-breaking. You can imagine that Luigi is the only thing that can make him stop.

Princess Peach more like Princess PARKOUR.

No really I loved Peach though I found her animation a little uncanny? But her personality was just right. Classy, Sassy and a little bit unhinged :)

Music choices were bloody weird. One of the few cases where Bonnie Tyler felt wildly out of place. More orchestral Mario music and less Kill Bill plz.

Luigi is such a golden boy. The part where Bowser is interrogating him and threatening to rip off his moustache, he asks if Mario is the kind of guy a princess would fall in love with, and LUIGI, WITHOUT MISSING A BEAT, is like 'YES MY BRO IS A TOTAL CATCH'. GOD DAMN. Little guy is scared for his life and he is still Mario's biggest wingman. He doesn't even seem to ponder the question. Sure you can say he's just giving answers to stop the torture but something in the line just screams he believes it to his core. What an A+ little bro

I was a little confused by the Toad personality they picked. Is 'outdoorsman adventurer' Toad a game character? Not that I didn't like it, I'm just wondering what the basis of that personality choice was.

Jack Black as Bowser was just having too much fun.

BABY MARIO. BABY LUIGI. BABY PEACH

I loved the scene where Bowser is 'practicing' proposing to Peach with Kamek playing Peach, and they are both so into it that even when a guard interrupts them they seem more annoyed than embarrassed XD Like 'dude we're in the MIDDLE OF SOMETHING can't it WAIT?!'

Kamikaze blue shell Koopa was NOT what I was expecting to see in this movie. Damn

Yes the scene where Mario and Luigi finally reunite was so PERFECT ♥ I could watch their joyful hugs until the heat death of the universe. The bit just after Mario lands and he looks like he's about to cry before he hugs Luigi, I just see a 'oh shit i almost lost you in boiling lava I'M SO HAPPY YOU'RE ALIVE LET ME HUG YOU AND HOLD YOUR FACE JUST TO MAKE SURE YOU'RE REALLY HERE ;-; ' moment.

'Why are you dressed like a bear?!' Luigi I adore you. Charlie Day gets a gold star.

I don't get why everyone hated Donkey Kong's voice, I honestly didn't find it that bad. 'He's just Seth Rogan being Seth Rogan'...yeah and? The voice fit? It wasn't out of character? They got a guy who's voice fit the obnoxious, bombastic Donkey Kong personality, I'm not seeing an issue. Maybe I just don't watch enough Seth Rogan stuff to find his voice jarring.

So many Easter eggs from all sorts of Nintendo properties.

LUIGI FACING HIS FEARS TO PROTECT MARIO FROM A FIRE BLAST HE IS TOO GOOD FOR THIS WORLD I LOVE HIM.

I made a prediction a week ago with a workmate where I said 'Mario will get to use all the powers in the movie and show them off, but in the end Luigi will get to use the invincibility star to save the day'....and I was totally half right :)

'See I told you I'd get you a turtle', MARIO XD

Had a convo with a workmate about this. It's interesting that the main conflicts in the film for Mario and Luigi individually (as in their own flaws they want to overcome) is that Mario hates being seen as small and worthless, and Luigi struggles with being cowardly and less assertive than Mario. And yet neither of these issues are the main problem that needs resolving. It's ALL about the brothers working together. 'It's gonna be ok as long as we're together' is the mantra. Mario isn't fighting Bowser to prove his worth or be a hero or even to be Peach's knight. He's fighting to get his brother back. Luigi leaps in to save Mario when things get hairy but the manhole cover wouldn't have stood up for very long. Mario proving himself and Luigi overcoming his cowardlyness is not what ultimately saves the day. The two brothers being together, fighting side by side and using Bowser's power against him does. And it's lovely. Mario may always have issues with people looking down on him, and Luigi might always be the anxious one, but that doesn't matter, because they have eachother's backs and they KNOW together they can save the world.

You suggesting the feather accessories made me think about Avian Hybrids!CoraLaw. Or, well, a Wings!AU.

- Cora has black swan wings and Doffy has flamingo wings (the only time I'll ever include this dude in my AUs. I avoid this mf cuz I'm starting to like him 😭). Idk what to give Law lmao–

- Cora's wings are huge. Like, 260cm/8'6ft. They're also waterproof, he uses them to cover the people from the rain.

- Law's wings are sensitive, so he doesn't like people touching them unless he gives them permission and consent to do so. Cora is an exception tho, Law even reaches out himself so Cora would touch them (No, Bepo isn't jealous. Of course he isn't.. whaaaat. He's totally okay with sharing his pseudo blanket with Cora..!!! That's a lie. Bepo is sulking in the corner while listening to Uta's songs).

- When it's Cora's time to moult in the summer, Law usually takes him flying when he wants/needs to. It's Law's favourite part of every summer, he gets to have Cora in his arms as he takes them flying. Law also helps toss out the old feathers, but some of them are gonna be used and turn into coats for the both of them.

- As you mentioned, feather accessories! I love those omg, thank you for suggesting them!! Cora has a single earring with Law's feather dangling from it. Law has a feather of Cora's attached to Kikoku and another as an earring.

- Law's wings are warmer than Cora's (that's the real reason why Bepo likes sleeping next to Law, trust me /j), so Cora likes to be the little spoon most of the time, just so he could feel Law's warm wings engulf him (they rarely spoon each other, they look like the type to sleep with their backs flat on the mattress). Law's wings are 210cm/6'10 ft, taller than himself when tucked in (Yes I did use the height comparison website on Google lmao).

(...Nah I'm not gonna give their wings width measurements, I'm too lazy for that and it's 5am)

- And because Cora's wings are huge, it makes him hard to stay balanced and upright. Falling means he starts panicking, panicking means his wings starts flailing, his wings flailing means knocking off whatever it is near him and slapping people in the face lol. He tries to tuck them in as close as possible.

I might expand this because I love it sm, but right now I ran out of ideas. You could add your own btw! My AUs are everyone's AUs xD. Enjoy and have a great day/night!

!!!!! I miss Wing!AUs... They're so nostalgic...

(okay also total sidenote, I have the same thing with Doffy. I went from thinking he seemed cool when he was first introduced to being Big Mad at the sight of him, with him killing Cora and. all that. But I've grudgingly come back around to?? strangely liking him?? I just like when villains have a sense of style and totally commit to being completely unhinged... I'm still glad he got got, but he is a fun character. 😂)

I wish I knew more Bird Facts so I could give a suggestion for Law... all I can think of right now is some kind of hawk... ooo or maybe a vulture?

God, Law still being such a SIMP with his wings 😂 and letting Cora get near them.... (hahaha I see those Bepo cameos... man if I wasn't so down bad for Cora I would throw in more with the law/bepo crew. full respect there). Also Law putting a feather on Kikoku!!!!! Ohhhh the mental image of that is so good.... Like, Law subtly showing that Cora is part of the reason he fights....

Ahhh also thinking about Cora being so used to trying to make his wings as small as possible and not inconvenience anyone with them, but one time Law makes a point to take them somewhere with a wide, open space and ask to see them... Or Cora has to fly them somewhere for the first time while running from Marines/some group that's not worth staying and fighting. And Law is just!!! awed!! at the sight of them!!! I know clumsiness is part of Cora's charm, but based on that mission where he stole the op-op fruit, we know he can be really coordinated and stealthy when needed. So, like, when he finally makes full use of his wings, maybe he's one of the fastest/swiftest flyers Law has seen.

Yeah, yeah, NPCs are a weird grey area since they're no regular enemies, blablabla. But, first, I wanted to include at least one Hunter NPC. Two - if I am choosing, it is DEFINITELY Edgar. I enjoyed fighting him on that moonlit bridge..... But, more importantly, I enjoy what this character entails. A player that was only yet to be educated would, soon enough, learn that Micolash has a friend. And then, some time later, the fandom would learn from official materials the character's name and get confirmation for his affiliation with the Choir! I just think that he is THE coolest NPC. Whereas others (looking at the no-dialogue ones in this) would be self-explanatory, with Edgar, there is a mystery that only people with imagination could solve! What else you could've asked for!

Also, I am totally weak for the fact that he does the 'Joy' gesture when he kills us. Way to kill the potential drama of "sparing us from the worse fate" and confirm that you are a simp insane, you lil shit! :pensive: Yet, despite saying less, it is saying more..... Anyways, onto the REAL enemies!

Four - Old Hunter enemy!

They are fuckin' SOMETHING ELSE in terms of aesthetic and behaviour, you know? The bastards have far too much of a healthbar, I will admit, but it is more about the lore... And the vibe. When they are attacking in unhinged, terrifying rage - the beasts (Beast Patient type) cover in fear, that leaves the whole "who is the REAL beast here?" message! They have various weapons and fighting styles. And they have yellow or red eyes variants, that helped me to resolve the mystery of what is under Chester's mask, since he is heavily implied to be from Yharnam and teleported by an Amygdala!

Three - Fishman Mage!

LOVE these guys! ...yes, despite the fact that they keep spamming me with DARN bolt spells and DARN purple homing skulls. But... At the same time, this is so BADASS. I can only speculate and bounce off ideas on why their magic has "wrong" colors; with this type of skulls normally being red and the bolt in Bloodborne normally being blue. But, I love the aesthetic and the cool magic nonetheless. Not to mention the Mystery TM of what is up with their "elongated" heads.

I thought of something akin Lumenweed but more coral-like instead of plant-like, since they seem to pray for other Great Ones to avenge Kos that they "failed" to protect (and since one of Fishmen variants has something similar anyways), but we just don't know! Could be a polyp, could be a fin, could be a Cool Hat...

Two - Clocktower Patient!

The amount of lore per pixel kills me! They have interesting VARIANTS - the regular, the naked, the completely tied-up one, the just-head one, the one behaving like a beast, the fuckin headless walking bodies... The HUGE one, that I fucking bet would be Pthumerians pushed into experiments too, all that.

And, although sometimes they can be frustrating to fight, ESPECIALLY when they come in a crowd, I just love how... "informative" they are? I have not learned more from any other enemy than from these people. They demand a keen eye to decipher no matter what. Like how it is easy to miss that their heads are covered so we can't know what is UNDER the fabric, or the tentacles... But yes, at the same time, the designs and the variations alone are pretty interesting AND scary!

One - Loran Cleric!

Fuckin'. BEST. Display of the fact that what Yharnam is going through already plagued Loran once. Fuckin' AWESOME design. Fuckin' EXTREMELY on-the-nose way to show the "history repeats itself" sentiment. They have ROBES, and they have horns. And they have PYROMANCY... Like other Pthumerians, some Vilebloods (Maria) and, interestingly, Laurence in his beast form, have.

I always found it hard to kill them, because I just could not have enough of their moveset and appearances. They are the enemies I tried to NOT kill for as long as I could afford. Their pyromancy staff gave me idea that Laurence would be using one as soon as he'd get his hands on it, probably in Byrgenwerth + early Church era. I also remember having killed one and spending good 20 minutes just taking pictures, including their cool twisted smiles! I also think that Blood-Possessed Soul is their final transformation form!

I have been constantly imagining this… what if WE had a significant other back then?

Like imagine this man having to hear me aggressively being all like:

“(Gf name)….I….I miss you. This fucking stupid overgrown shark literally won’t let me go!” In my sleep.

This man would have to live with me being a whole simp for her while he’s like:

Humans can have same gender mates? How would that even work? No matter! I’m better than whoever she’s blabbing about! (Narcissistic triumph)

Eh, honestly I didn’t read much about same-sex relationships in the shark world so idk if he would have an idea about that, but I mean except for the description in the sex scene, the reader can be either, so I think Atreo would not question his mates choice in partner.

It only matters to him that he has them now and they are his, and whoever is up there can screw themselves because TOUGH LUCK but his darling is unreachable for them now. They belong to Atreo now once and for all, and he’s not giving them up. Never. (He does get a little jealous if the darling talks about them though. Maybe a little unhinged if they don’t stop and frustrate him, so they’ll learn it’s better to shut up.)

The asks got a bit out of hand so I compiled them under the cut! I would be really awesome if you could not use so many spaces between your sentences, it takes up a lot of space and while I love chatting, I don’t want to clutter for the people that are just on my blog for the stories. Well, his curiosity comes from concern, right? If his darling is TOO quiet it can’t be good either, and Atreo needs to make sure they are at least a little lively. So even if that shows in them grumbling and turning around on the bed, pouting, he’ll be satisfied. Atreo will also always use the chances he gets to remind his mate how much better they have it with him and how little they need when he’s by their side (even though they are probably dying from boredom lol). But hey, he’ll throw in some unwelcome cuddles if they need someone to change their mood xD

Well, like any yandere: See Target -> Fixate on Target -> Claim Target. It’s also that the human probably taste pretty good since they are not some old, worn sailor. So that’s probably a reason to keep them aaaaaall to himself and then he just fell in love with them as they turned out an absolutely adorable, nonviable (in the ocean) creature in his care.

Also female sharks are mean and tough (but humans are cute and soft and have less options to choose and pick when they are immobilized underwater). And Atreo is only the 3rd best singer. Life’s tough when all you’re good for is hunting and fucking and then there are two other sharks that lure in all the females with their singing. He could have his share, certainly, just because he has proven himself as the strongest male. Buuuut he might not be the first choice for everyone either.

That said, he probably has a lot of kids from previous matings, but now he’s way too occupied with his darling to think of anyone else, no worries ^^

Well, you take a merman, use a great white shark as a reference, and then just slap the colors on him. Most notably are the black eyes like sharks have, I think I did say he also has grey hair, but I’d need to reread my own story and I’d rather not lol. Grey tail, pretty long, proportions of an 8′‘ human. Patches of scaly skin. The rest, tbh, is up to readers.

As for the dicks, male sharks actually always have them out as far as I know, they have two claspers. The “being able to pull them inside into something like a bag” is a real-life concept turned fantasy as much as I know. I’ve seen it countless of times for Naga, Merman, Drider, etc. I think it’s just a way to make them appear more “decent” for not always having their dicks out if it’s just normal scenarios. I do know that the monster from the movie The Shape of Water also has it.

However, the cocks do come out when he gets randomly aroused (either though his mate, a female in heat, a successful and exciting hunt,...) but the merfolk aren’t like... prudish. For them it can also make for a good sight, inviting them to lay with a male if he’s packing well. And if they are not interested, they’ll let him know and once the excitement disappears, so do the dicks. But he wouldn’t cover them up no, he’s not ashamed of his benefits lol.

Ok. Here's take two! Wifi, please, do not let me down!

You sent me that AMAZING ask for the wolves. So now, I must return the favor! I don't have writing, but I have little headvannons I got from the.... Four minutes of screentime the boys got XD (and fangirling)

- First of all, PLEASE LOOK AT GRANNY'S EYES!!!!

THEY'RE SO BLUE!!! AND BRIGHT!!! I LOVE THEM!!! And Big Bad and Kiddy! It was hard to tell since they didn't have as clear shots as Granny did here, but I think BB had gold/yellow eyes, while Kiddy had red/reddish brown eyes. Matching his collar!

- (Ok imma be honest, Granny got the most headcannons out of me by far. You can tell which one is my favorite XD) So, despite how beautiful his eyes look, I'm thinking Granny might be near sighted. During the chase scene, he completely missed the fact that Ella, Munt, and Mumbo hid from him despite being a few feet away. If this is true, it would explain why he goes after old people and little kids. Easy prey. (Though his aim is pretty good too. So maybe he's got a lot of practice throwing knives for some reason? Or his nose tells him where the target is?)

- Which leads to my second headcannon for him. He's the smartest out of the gang. He's the first to point out that something is up (even though everybody was looking at the castle), and the fact that he was asking Ricky what his deal was hints to this. I know that's not much evidence, but with less screen time than the Toon Patrol, what can you do? XD

- The fact that Granny looks out for Kiddy, told Ricky to have a drink with them, and didn't threaten him when he tried to 'go to work' hints to Granny being the 'nicest' out of all these fellas. However, with how confident he seems to be, it could also be a hint to him just not seeing any reason to throw his weight around. Which could be another point to him being the smart guy of the group.

- Opposite to Granny that I saw though, Big Bad not only seems to be the most manipulative with his interactions with Ricky, he also seems to be the most ready to jump to aggression. He was the first bad guy to run into the ballroom when they broke into the castle, and he seems to have a bad habit of getting into people's faces. This might be another reason why he and Granny have a rivalry; Big Bad feels the need to establish his dominance all the time unlike Granny.

- Despite that though, they seem to be able to work together. When Granny ran past the trio, we hear a different howl behind them. Maybe this is Big Bads or Kiddy's way of calling out to Hranny to tell him he needs to re-route himself. Or to find him if they think he's got lost (I bet you ten bucks Big Bad teases him about needing a guide XD)

- Finally, this is more like a possible, albeit dark, idea for why Kiddy seems the more unhinged member. In his story (if we're correct about which one it is), his ending is... Not pretty. (It involves him getting cut open, stones stuffed into him, sewed back up, and then he falls into a well and drowns because the stones weigh him down). And since it's made clear that this stories have played before and will continue to do so, what if Kiddy just... Snapped? And that's part of the reason Granny looks out for him?

But this could also be used in an x Reader context! Kiddy is having a nightmare about his ending, reader wakes him up and comforts him through the night. It hurts and heals my heart at the same time ^^

That's all I got so far. This is no where NEAR as good as your writing, but I hope you enjoy this either way! ^^

I loveeeee the idea of Granny being near sighted! It adds dimensions that the wolves desperately need!! XD 😂😂 And this means his sweet S/O can look after him, a little XD And I'm also obsessed with his knife-throwing- that was pretty hot. (And I'm sure its a lot easier to see when the target is not moving like Ella, Monk and Mambo were). !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh! Imagine putting a blindfold on the wolves and seeing if any of them can find you- Granny gets to you in like 3 seconds flat. He's used to relying on his nose! Then he spends the rest of the time (Which to be fair is not long, cuz the other two are still wolves and have great noses) teasing the others.

And I could tooooootally believe that he's the smartest too- like, specifically, in that enquiring/nerdy way. Like, if he was in school he'd be asking the teacher so many questions (Imagine the Bell dings, Big Bad tries to get outta his seat and skedaddle, but Granny raises his arm to ask a heavy question- and everyone in class hates him for it XD), and he probably loves puzzles and chess and stuff like that! I can also seeing him be very observant; He notices shit.

And the nice thing!! Totally agree!! He has a little protective in him ^^ *cough* make him a dad.

Ohhhhhhhh yah. Big Bad definitely has a need to be Boss. I feel like Granny sees this and keeps an eye on him- he knows at once that he could never fully trust this guy. This is normal, though, in the world of villains; Its comfortable. So, no biggie. Also, its just fun to mess with the guy XD

Omg!! Big Bad and Kiddy going *sigh* he got lost again. Timeta go fetch 'em // yeah-yeah-yeah- Oh no, we're making them family. Its the Toon Patrol all over again 😂🤣.

AND THAT LAST ONE?? I don't even have anything to add. Its perfect. Truly brings Kiddy together. I wanna write it so bad XD

ALRIGHT A HANDFUL OF PEOPLE NOTICED MY TREASURE ISLAND DT AU SO IT'S TIME TO GO FULL UNHINGED.

I waaaaaas gonna do character ref drawings and explain it all like that HOWEVER!! most of them (everyone who isn't just a pirate, basically) just look exactly like they do in canon so unless I think of anything to add to their already existing outfits there isn't much to do there. SO INSTEAD you just get a mile-long ranting textpost about who each character is and how they fit into the storyline. <3 You're welcome <3 I can draw other scenes later though!! If you've read it lmk if there's a scene you wanna see with the DT characters and maybe I can draw it. 👀

I'm assuming most people out there aren't as obsessed with this story as I am so I'll explain the plot as I go along with each of the characters. Also!! Technically just a Treasure Island story set in the DT universe, so starting off we've got Scrooge and co. living at the mansion (with Della!) all together. I'm not sure how much of the plot has actually happened though (other than that Della is there somehow) because for this story to work they have to have not encountered most of the villains in the series. SO. IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE (which also means appearance for the most part) HERE'S THE CHARACTER LIST AND AN EXPLANATION FOR WHY THEY ARE THAT CHARACTER-

Huey Duck as Jim Hawkins-

Y'know. Main character. The one who always does the craziest things with the worst ideas that end up being the best ideas in the end. Lives at the mansion with his family and such.

Flintheart Glomgold as Billy Bones-

He's a ranting raving pirate who shows up at the mansion someday, saying he heard Scrooge could help him out with something. He's reluctant to say what however, and they let him stay at the mansion because he has money and can basically pay rent for staying. He spends a lot of his time down at the docks looking for something in a disguise he calls 'Duke Baloney', and eventually asks and pays Huey to keep an eye open for a certain pirate with a missing limb. I think it would be funny though if he ended up not dying (and idk how much of the alcohol we're putting in this, I don't think it would work to have him die of a stroke after drinking too much 👀), there's just some other random thing that somehow boots him out of the story for the rest of the time. In a very Flintheart Glomgold manner. I don't think I have a character for Black Dog yet, so that leads us into our next person-

Magica de Spell as Pew-

She's this scary-ass pirate who shows up at the mansion one day looking for Glomgold, gives him the Black Spot and tells him he has until 10 before the other pirates are going to break in and steal the map he secretly has. After Glomgold dies (or doesn't, depending on what I do with him XD) and she does break into the mansion with the other pirates (only Huey and Della were at the mansion at the time and after going through all of Glomgold's stuff- and finding the map- they decide to stay hidden when the pirates show up 'cause they know they can't get rid of all of them), and ends up being defeated somehow (not sure if she should actually be killed or not) when Scrooge gets home and the rest of the pirates flee.

Scrooge McDuck as Squire Trelawney-

You know Scrooge, the second he sees the treasure map Della and Huey got from Glomgold he's already making plans to find it. He sets everything up and funds it all, hires all the crew and has his family come along.

Gyro Gearloose as Dr. Livesey-

His ass is not a medical doctor!!! He still goes along to help out with stuff. I think the only reason it matters what kind of doctor he is because that one time when he gets into the arrangement that he's the doctor for the pirates... technically that could work as Beakley but she's Captain Smollett and she's injured at that time. So who knows. Livesey is supposed to be the more levelheaded of all of them, he's the one who's reasonable and stops Trelawney from being impulsive. HOWEVER with Gyro's actual personality I guess we have to switch that here. XD

Mrs. Beakley as Captain Smollett-

Scrooge is technically funding/leading the voyage but doesn't properly know how to lead a crew, so he asks Beakley to do that for him. She is entirely against going on a treasure hunt, knowing what's at stake with all of the crazy pirates (who aren't afraid to kill people to get what they want) that want this treasure as well, but ends up going along because she wants to make sure everyone stays out of trouble. She does end up being the one who is badly injured during the fight with the pirates however.

Fethry Duck as Ben Gunn-

Ooohh so this is one of those characters who just lines up so perfectly. He was marooned on the treasure island (wink wonk) for two years, and ends up being kind of crazy because of it. He runs into Huey when he's running from the pirates, and tells Huey he's insanely rich and that Scrooge (ik in the book he said Livesey but Scrooge makes more sense in this setting) can come find him if he ever needs to talk about stuff. Huey later ends up taking his boat to get back onto their ship.

Negaduck/Jim Starling as Captain J. Flint-

He's the guy who started this all. It's his treasure that's buried on the island, he's the one who gave Glomgold the map right before Negaduck died. It's most of his old crew who ends up going along on Scrooge's adventure so they can get the treasure for themselves after Flint buried it an didn't tell anyone where.

Gandra Dee as Abraham Grey-

She was one of the crewmates who was initially inducted into the pirate's scheme before she switched sides at the last second to help Scrooge. Ik Grey doesn't really have a big role in the story other than that thing that I literally summed up in one sentence, but maybe Gandra could be given a more important place later on?? I'm not sure.

Black Heron as Israel Hands-

She's a pirate who doesn't play a huge role in this other than when Huey gets back to the ship to take it back from the pirates she's at a low point so she agrees to help him sail it to the north inlet. Once they get the ship beached she tries to kill him, but Huey ends up getting rid of her out of self-defense instead (IDK ABOUT ACTUALLY KILLING HER but y'know if we go by the book it means Huey actually gets to shoot Black Heron 👀). I have to admit she's mostly cast as Hands because there's that one time when Hands climbs up the ropes with a knife in his teeth chasing Huey and if THAT ISN'T THE MOST HERON THING EVER IDK WHAT IS

Mark Beaks as Mr. Arrow-

Yeah he's not an important character, I just think it's funny to have Beaks be the guy who is literally labeled as useless by Beakley the moment she meets him and who also dies by falling overboard before they're even halfway to the island. Like the dude didn't even make it to the first fight.

Okay. Ik what you're thinking at this point. I'm missing a character!! The character who is probably the most important one!! The person who organized the mutiny of the pirates in the first place!! The one who should've been listed right up there next to Huey!! And, I assure you, I'm not. I'm just saving the best for last. 😉

Bradford Buzzard/The Mad Ducktor as Long John Silver-

Yes, yes, I know it makes more sense to just have Bradford as Silver, we don't really need Mads in there. HOWEVER. Silver has been one of my favorite antagonists since I was 7, and Mads is one of my favorite characters of all time now. SO. I'm making this AU even more self-indulgent by throwing him in there as Silver as well. Because I love both of them and I can. AND! BECAUSE!! Silver has a very diverse personality, depending on the situation he's in he can change in an instant to fit whatever works best. So. (that was the tldr, the rest is just further explanation for that) (Oh yeah, they are separate characters still tho they just act as the same character in the au) Bradford is the more cunning side of Silver. He's the one who sets up the mutiny, the one who keeps switching sides to save his skin, the one who is the mastermind behind all of this. The one who comes up with the idea to sneak away with one of the bags of gold in the end, never to be seen again. Mads is the friendlier side of Silver. He's the one who was the nice old innkeeper who was besties with all of his customers, the one who was also best friends with Huey right off the bat, the one who had EVERYONE fooled that there was DEFINITELY NOTHING SUSPICIOUS GOING ON because HOW ON EARTH could someone so friendly be a part of Negaduck's old crew??? He's the one who said he was excited for Huey to get on the island, so he could run through the trees and just feel the life around him. The one who ended up saving Huey from the pirates when they were about to kill him, and the one who even Beakley said she trusted at the beginning. On the other hand, that means he's also the scarier side. The one who threw his crutch at someone so hard it broke his back before immediately leaping on the guy and stabbing him until he died. The one who tied Huey up and angrily yanked him along as they were looking for the treasure. The one who said the rest of the pirates could do whatever they wanted with the good guys when the mutiny happened, as long as Mads got to personally strangle Scrooge (that lines up so perfectly tho 'cause in the book Silver actually says that he wants to wring Trelawney's neck and SCROOGE IS TRELAWNEY AAA). The one who even Captain Flint was terrified of, even though Flint in this story is pretty much the Ultimate Bad Guy who is the reason for all of this happening. IT ALSO WORKS to have Mads as Silver if we're going by my '17 design, who is missing his left hand (instead of his leg like Silver is). He's the pirate who Glomgold told Huey to look out for for him, a chicken with one hand. Because they are the same character they are together a lot, Bradford's the one in charge of everything and Mads essentially works as his enforcer. Which means he's also pretty much Bradford's right-hand man as well. Every time Bradford switches sides to save himself, Mads goes along as well, and because he's the nicer part of Silver he's also the one to smooth-talk everyone into going along with all of Bradford's plans. Soooo yeah, that's it!!! Most of the other characters are just there as themselves, Della and Donald act as Mr. and Mrs. Hawkins with the exception of Donald doesn't die at the beginning and both of them go on the journey as well. Dewey, Louie and Webby are all there too, part of the good guys of course. They could possibly act as Tom Redruth and John Hunter, who were servants of Trelawney's who both ended up dying (THOUGH!! THEY DON'T DIE!! XD). I'm sure there are a few other minor pirates that some other villains line up as. Honestly we could throw in whoever else we wanted as background characters on the journey. Fenton, Duckworth, Gladstone, Lena, Violet, whoever. OH one last thing- I'm thinking of a way to work in Mads' own Lil' Bulb (who I named Blacklight) as Silver's parrot, also named Captain Flint (or Negaduck).

1. What motivates you to write?

Rereading my favorite stories, certain movies- I forget what Tolkien called it, but just the urge to create after seeing something beautiful that someone else has created. Also telling stories as a sort of release for the feelings/vibes/sentiments that I just don't have space to experience in my every day life.

2. A line/short snippet of your writing that you are most proud/happy of. If not maybe share a line of someone else's work you love (just please credit them)

From one of Megan’s stories I’m starting to rework so it’s one cohesive thing and not a tumblr RP thread xD

The truth… Megan laced her fingers and leaned forward, resting her forearms on her thighs. Her hazel eyes stared without focus into the distance. How much of the truth to tell him, at least at this moment.

3. Which OC makes you smile every time you think/talk about them and what are they like?

Guardian Megan Samuels. Both she and her order were created for/in the Doctor Who universe, but I'm tweaking some of the concepts for a potential OW. Writing her adventures got me through a really horrible period of my life.

Megan is the embodiment of one of my favorite tropes, "character is done with x but x isn't done with them (because they're good at it)." She was plucked from her life and remolded into a warrior, yet despite being hundreds of years old and seeing untold horros (time war) she hasn't succumbed to cynicism.

She's kind and self sacrificing almost to the point of martyrdom, very protective of the ones she cares about, "you said pick my battles, I'm picking all of them", the hardened exterior of a warrior hiding the fragile, broken, vulnerable, and somehow still kind and optimistic person underneath.

Fuck I miss writing her. Might be time to dust off her old stories...

4. What process of writing do you enjoy the most?

The semi stressful feeling when the ideas and plot are forming faster than your fingers can type- and when the flow stops, going back and tweaking the whole ass story or scene that just popped into existence like Athena did to Zeus xD just watching the story unfold before you, sometimes in ways you didn't think it would

5. What part of writing do you think you are the best at? (Yes stroke your own ego it's okay)

How I write action, specifically fights. Pacing it and varying the language so it's engaging but also realistic within the world of the story, and also the thoughts and feelings of the characters while they're fighting.

Also how I can almost always find the right/specific words to describe the vaguest of vibes and feelings, so that the ephemeral mess in my head is understandable (prob cuz I had to do that a lot to get people in my life to understand how I was experiencing the world)

6. What is something in the writeblr community is most enjoyable?

Both the commiseration about how writing is wonderful and awful at the same time, and seeing normally eloquent writers have incoherent unhinged conversations about their blorbos xD

7. A writing tool/device you use that helps you with writing? (It could be speech to text, a writing program etc)

Sticky notes and a notebook. I have post-its in the back of my writing notebook with all my ideas/prompts so that if I want to write something but don't know what, I can pick one. also specifically those notebooks with folders in them, they're the unsung heros of writers who just accumulate scrap paper with notes and ideas and want to keep them with their writing notebook (aka me) xD

8. A piece of worldbuilding that you like in your own story? (It could be the magic system, a particular place in the story, a law etc)

In the Doctor Who universe that Megan was originally created for, the Order of Guardians is formed of soldiers of different species from all over the universe, kind of like the Green Lantern corps but for Time Lords. Each Guardian is assigned a Time Lord to protect, how they go about that is their business (Megan is basically glued to the Doctor's hip, she gotta be xD), but their first loyalty is to Gallifrey. They are all enhanced to live as long as Time Lords but don't regenerate, they go through extensive training and schooling, are the elite fighting force of Gallifrey. Megan was the first human Guardian. I'm working on tweaking this whole concept for a potential OW, we'll see how it goes xD

9. What piece of advice would you say to encourage others to write if they are having a rough patch?

Write what you want to write, no matter what it is. Go to your sources of motivation, whatever makes you want to get lost in the magic of storytelling. and remember, it's okay to step away for a bit and come back to it in a few days or weeks or however long- give your brain the space to rest.

10. Tag some people whose works you love/have been your biggest supporters.

Both Chrome and Ama who are already tagged (such amazing writers and so supportive of my multi chap that I've been working on for 3 ish years now) but also @griever-bit-my-finger @honeybeezgobzzzzz @7-wonders @just-french-me-up @just-some-random-blogger @roguelov @cuckoo-on-a-string @peachesofteal @undiscovered-horizon @just-some-random-blogger All of these folks have multiple works that I've read multiple times, and I enjoy them just as much every reread as I did the first time (No pressure to do the questions just my undying love)

thanks for answering my ask! i am starting to loooooove ur after life city au – it is already one of my favs fan aus so far!

the concept of this au is just creative and clever and interesting so far! like how u made the three clock keepers managing at different times of the day and having that steam-punk style is, ugh! the rest of the lords (and probs nene – i love akanene friendship) readying themselves to commit murder if someone hurts kyo is adorable! (and also him stealing random hearts to inspect them lmaoooo such an unhinged akane thing to do)

then there is shijima abusing her powers to create legit nightmares to those she thinks doesn't deserve it and rides on her paper airplanes cuz she doesn't want to walk – ugh, what a queen! (loving the sakumei crumb!) and mitsuba is hating his job, which kind of makes sense that he doesn't want to cooperate since he isn't a sadist and hates to see people suffer!

and the more i read, the more it makes me want to know the answers to these questions: how akane became kyo, like did he wander into the city after he died at the age of 12 and captured the hearts/the attention of kako and mirai? how come he was declared missing and not dead..? and why is he searching for the key to his clock?; how did sumire and katakuri become no.6's assistants? is it because among the sacrifices to shinigami, these two are the ones who aren't ready/doesn't want to reincarnate?; who is sakura waiting for?; how did tsukasa become hanako's shadow?; what is the role of the minamotos here?; and what is the real reason for hanako in wanting the rest of the lords to work together?

gah! this au is gonna be stuck in my head for a while now!

I honestly absolutely wasn't excepting this au to interest sm thank you it means a lot QvQ ANd udgshjdgs you're too nice aaaaah

The three clock keepers managing at different times was just a funny idea I got after the riddle of the Sphinx :DD (even if the riddle is the other way around with the kid at the beginning of the day and the old man at the end but shhht) I thought the idea was really fun and I am pretty sure AidaIro didn't choose an old man for the past, a young man for the present and a kid for the future for nothing :))

Kyo is just way too pure for this underworld they just don't understand XDD they feel like they need to protect him (and yeees I still wanted him to be like super blunt but in a happy way now XD)

And I am happy to see you like the ideas with Mei and Sousuke too aaaah

For Amane and Tsukasa I already answered here if you want ^^

What's important to know is indeed what is the Minamotos role. They are descendant of the god of lighting who is the one who decided to banned some gods in the underworld and have the duty to protect the near shore. Yorimistu is the one who decided to give all this reincarnation job to the underworld, promising that if they behaved and did a good job the ancient beings there will be offered a day or two in the near shore sometimes to see the sun.

Teru and Kou are the sons of the Minamoto chief and have learned all their lives how to get rid of supernaturals who end on Earth sometimes (it kinda work as Tartarus in the greek mythology, the monsters never die they just come back after some times). So they are still exorcists in this au.

And they will get involved into this mess because some reports said that several souls never got to reincarnate properly despite being able to go to the After Life city. So they will have to go in it as a official trip between the two shores (because the dad doesn't have the time to go). Hanako is the one who is in charge of keeping touch with them and he HATES them (and if you read the stuff about Hanako and Tsukasa you definitely know why :')), the feeling is reciprocated.

They don't have that much informations of the far shore, because a lot of books about it got burned several time, a lot of History have been lost between time. So there is a lot of misinformations. They think all the supernaturals there are evil and just trying to get rid of humans. When they wil get ready to go as 'princes' of the Near shore, they will be accompagnied by an Akane girl who said want to act as their guards (with one of her friend, who is only human but will just send a kind of flying robot to go there (that's Lemon, I just wanted him in this au yep that's all so he has a robot yes don't ask)). Since the Akane and Minamotos Family have a long history together they will accept. (You all get that this is Aoi, but she wants to go there definitely not to protect the Minamotos but to take care of some personal business :) and Lemon is here because he is her best friend)

One of the big misinformation the Minamotos have are about the relationships between the Akane, the Katakuri (I will call them this since I have no idea what is his last name) and the Minamotos. In the recent texts it is said that they are special families who always worked together, so Kou and Teru believe that. But this is absolutely false. Several centuries prior, the Minamotos (still not having the right history because the stuff between the Gods happened millenials ago, only some people from the Far shore know the truth) afraid of the increasing number of supernaturals, started to use humans sacrifices to appease the Far Shore. It didn't really work but they didn't stop. They only stopped once Yorimistu was here and started to give a real jobs to the Far Shore (they didn't have this reaincarnate job before him) Only two were able to stay in the far shore at this time, Sumire and Katakuri who were raised as sacrifices all their life. Their hatred of the Minamotos and the humans were what got the attention of Shinigami who offered them to stay as supernaturals to help him. Even if it had been centuries they are still really angry about their human situations :)) and will deifinitely use what they can to make the Minamotos pay for what they did.

Sakura is waiting for someone to take her place as the next princess to then become the queen. That's what the previous queen did with her. Normally the Lords know this because this procedure already happened, but they don't have the best memories having lived for millenials in the dark for some. Only some remember but they aren't the ones who will talk :)) (and I let you guess who she is really waiting for ahah)

And for Akane that's exactly as I said, He didn't get declared dead because he went missing :) He indeed took the attention of Mirai and Kako but when he was alive I let you guess what happened after (you can go check Part 1 if you want there is some info there eheh 👀👀)

Kyo is sure that he will be able to feel other things than being just happy all the time if he finds the key of his lock. He learned that locks are meant to protect something so he wants to find the key (he is kinda simple minded ahah)

Hanako want the rest of the Lords to work together I am pretty sure you can understand what for with all the infos now 👀 The gates between the near and far shore are rarely opened for everyone (some supernaturals can go there but not that much, Mirai and Kako can, Tsuchi can too but never go and Yako too but she doesn’t care either. And they have tons of paperworks to fill and all/ they are considered the least dangerous of the Lords so that's why) but since the Minamotos will need to come to check some things, they will have to be opened at least twice :))

It’s kinda like in the manga, some of them are sealed and others not x’) (let’s say that ahah) because I don’t have everything in my head so I will maybe come back to correct some stuff sometimes ahah x’) since I didn’t write anything before and the last time I worked on it was two years ago dhsj I will try my best though! but this is mostly for fun yay)

Now I’m really intrigued in the story between Aemond and Alyse, is my man’s gonna be in a unrequited love betrothal/marriage or are they gonna have a Rhaenyra/Laenor marriage were she is with her love and he is with Alys? 🤔

Thank you so much for asking ❤️ Just today I made a gif I hoped would sum it a bit -

Alyse and her sister spent quite some time at court in King's Landing as children. While her little sister Catelyn was very close with the Velaryon boys, especially Jace, Alyse was closest to Helaena. That naturally came with a side of resentment for Aegon and admiration from Aemond.

Elyana removes herself and her daughters from court following the debacle at Driftmark (she has other, more... personal reasons, too, but that clusterfuck definitely played a part) and Alyse and Aemond don't see each other again until he turns up at her home to get her father to pledge feilty to the greens.

Borros (canonically, too) then offers one of his daughters' hand in marriage to him and Alyse doesn't think much of it, she has two older half-sisters after all, but he choses her and she's mortified. For a lot of reasons-

She has no desire to be married into this special brand of crazy and she definitively doesn't want to go back to King's Landing into the very eye (thehehe) of the storm.

Then there is the fact that no one on the ground saw what happened with him and Luke, so while he seemed unhinged before, Aemond now looks like an outright monster to her.

But Borros is a man of his word and he won't budge on the betrothal, no matter how much Elyana and Alyse beg him to.

And then en route to King's Landing, where she is supposed to get married, sth happens (heavily inspired by my love for the terrible, cheesy, verily not that great movie "First Knight") and she has to be saved from bandits, bad guys, black supporters, we will see.

And this is how she meets the Lancelot to her Guinevere - a handsome, young Stormlander (who doesn’t have a name yet, because I am still trying to get a feel for which one of the options I am leaning towards fit him the best), who saves her from peril and sees her safely to King's Landing. Naturally, they fall in love on the way.

That got away from me and yet didn't really answer the question, right? XD

No, it's not really an unrequited love thing. Because Aemond didn't pick her out of love, but because he remembered being fond of her as a child and he remembers his beloved sister being fond of her.

Does this mean he takes kindly to watching his bride / wife longing for another man? Probably not, he's just not that chill, yk? ^^

So far I am confident that the marriage is intimate and decent enough - he can lean on her and they care for each other (and other ppl in arranged marriages have definitely had it worse in boudoir matters) but it's still obvious that his feelings for her are deeper than hers for him and that she never loves him like she does "her Lancelot".

I don't see him as someone who wants to be second best to his wife, when he's been second in everything his whole life and eventually this is probably bound to come to a head one way or another.

But I am still working all this out, so there is always the possibility of changes being made along the way.

(Ps: the gif is Alyse and "her Lancelot" tenderly and reluctantly saying their goodbye after he drops her off at King's Landing with Aemond watching like "the fuck did I miss here?")

hermanos anon again, all the best for your exam!! ooh, i'm very interested in whatever you'll gif, i'm sure it will be lovely! and thank you once more asdfjsk i'm absolutely starved for hermanos content (and the spinoff didn't provide at all) so you are doing God's work <3

Oh, it was exactly the same for me! It's a long story but at first I really wasn't interested in the show at all, but my family would put it on during every meal so I'd catch a few episodes here and there, I even missed the bella ciao scene at first. But during s2 when tokyo confronts Sergio about Andrés knowing his name, and we get like a 10 sec flash to the bella ciao scene, that was my first time I went "what's going on here" and the seed for my hermanos obsession was planted XD If you'd said to me back in 2019 that 5 years later these 2 would be my favourites and I'd still be loving and missing them, I'd never have believed it lol. I rewatched some scenes I'd missed, by the s2 finale I was invested and the hermanito reveal made me cry 😭💔

You're not alone, I will never recover from that either. In fact, allow me to make the scene worse for you - there's one thing I noticed when rewatching the show. When Tokyo dies/Raquel 'fake' dies, both times Sergio is pleading with them too to get away or give him up. But you'll notice in both cases he's adamantly giving "orders" in a sense, he doesn't use the words "por favor". There's only one scene where he switches from orders to child-like pleading, and that's the hangar scene. He's pleading, begging Andrés to leave and he screams 'Andrés por favor' desperately.

(pt 2) Sergio really is so comfortable with affection from Andrés, love the way you put it! And hahaha Andrés is the most Unhinged Bastard Man but that flies out the window with hermanito, he's always so fond of him. One of my favourite things about their relationship is how they are both such cold/reserved people otherwise but around each other they can show their genuine emotions, it's beautiful. The guantanamera scene is like a perfect time capsule of their bond, the mingled grief and love, the joy and the sorrow, the smiles and tears. And how despite Andrés is the one with a death sentence looming over him, it's him trying to cheer up Sergio, just like in the Bella Ciao scene it's him singing "che mi sento di morir" and continuing on till Sergio smiles. Anyway it's truly such a precious scene and I love how it ends with their silly little dance moves, gives me so much serotonin :') Please don't apologise about replying late, I loved reading your thoughts too! It's such a joy to find a fellow heist brothers fan :D I just hope I'm not bothering you with my rambles asfdfjsk I've been thinking abt them a lot lately 😅 Thank you for the gifset again and for being so kind, hope you have a great day 💗

Oh, that's cool! I remember that scene in season 2, and I love the shot we get of the hug there, like you can really see how protective it is, the way Andrés crandles Sergio's head and back... so yeah, I can totally see how that moment planted the first seed for your hermanos obsession! The hermanito reveal was such a gut punch, there is little to do...

And wow, thank you, this did indeed make that scene even worse for me, I didn't think it was possible! You're so right, oh no... really, the way Sergio sobs "Andrés, por favor!" is so child-like and heart-wrenching... literally a little brother begging his big brother not to leave him, and knowing on some level that he'll never be able to make him change his mind... I need to curl up into a ball for a while ahhh

That's definitely one of my favourite things too, they're so calculating but around each other they feel safe and comfortable enough to let their guard down... brothers!! Yesss, that's such a big brother moment for Andrés! Like he can be pretty self-centered but there he clearly puts Sergio's needs above his and I melt! Side note about the bella ciao scene, I wonder if Andrés singing "e se io muoio da partigiano tu mi devi seppellir" on his own was supposed to be some sort of foreshadowing of the fact he'll die and Sergio'll survive... I mean, "and if I die as a partisan you must bury me" is basically what happened, isn't it? Except that now I'm struck by the thought that probably Sergio couldn't bury Andrés, coudn't take care of his brother's body... OH NO. On a happier note, I love the way Sergio asks Andrés, "we're the resistance, aren't we?" in the bella ciao scene, it almost sounds like it used to be an inside joke, maybe something they told each other when they were younger, captivated by their grandfather's stories... And yes, Sergio "I don't dance" Marquina WILL dance if his big brother so requires :D
