Please Help Save Team Fortress 2

Hey, I realize I don't have a lot of followers, and the few that I have probably don't play TF2 much. If you have played TF2 and enjoyed it at any time, or even if you just have fond memories of the memes and characters, I'd really appreciate it if you'd consider writing about that on May 26th. TF2's been in a sorry, unplayable state for nearly three years now with absolutely no communication from Valve. No press releases, no twitter posts, not even so much as mention in an interview acknowledging it.

So us fans that are still around, and thankfully there's a good many, are putting together an online rally to get Valve to at least say something, and hopefully actually fix the problems. We're beyond asking for updates or new content. We just want the game to work.

So on May 26th if you could make even one post on the platform of your choice with the #savetf2 tag, I and a lot of other people would really appreciate it. If you know anyone who would do so, please share this with them. Thank you.

An internet browser, Virtual Console, Miiverse, Streetpass, a digital shop that can load at a reasonable speed, and NO ONLINE SUBSCRIPTION

That amount of online connectivity from Nintendo will never come back.

i still cannot believe ESO so overtly stole art. There were other instances where they took fan interpretations and implemented them where I felt credit and acknowledgement of the fact ideally should be warranted, but that's kind of a grey hazy area. And also that time where they straight up pirated a campaign from Wizards of the Coast, which I had to download before the guillotine of copyright law descended. Honestly what I cannot believe is the hoards of people defending ESO for this. Zenimax isn't going to suck your dick while you're choking on theirs

Wonderful Things That May or May Not Be Wonderful!!! If you hear and are familiar with the term “video game shooter”, my assumption is that you’re probably not thinking of the Splatoon games. Makes sense, they are quite different from the pillars of the genre like Call of Duty and Doom. They’re bright, colorful, taking down the opposition is secondary to covering the entire stage in your team's color of ink, and you can turn into a squid and swim through the ink you spray. From the weapons to the stages to the gameplay to the style, there is a level of fun and creativity that is emblematic of Nintendo at their best. And while the game is primarily multiplayer, They all have great single player campaigns that carries these same traits with them. I've have a wonderful time any time I pop in for some matches and I hope that continues every time I return. Until then, stay fresh! P.S. Splatoon 2 really should have been called Spla2n…and now that I write it out, I immediately regret everything.

Fallout: Multiplayer

Were you previously aware that according to Chris Taylor, multiplayer was one of the original Fallout's most requested features?

During development, he mentioned that they discussed a “simple deathmatch mode” that allowed importing characters to play against others via LAN.

Chris added that multiplayer “would have been a mistake” due to high expectations the multiplayer would have entailed. Multiplayer was added in Fallout Tactics, which he also worked on.

I was so excited to play Pikmin 4 until I realized that the local co-op is just like in Mario Galaxy where the second player can throw stuff and just sits around watching the first player play 90% of the time… I thought it would be like Pikmin 3 Deluxe with a 2 characters split-screen!! I wanted to play with my sibling!! And yeah, I could just get Pikmin 3 Deluxe instead but I can't because I don't have infinite space on my Switch!!! (And I'd much rather have a physical copy anyway)

oog cassette beasts is on sale on steam..its a really good monster catcher exploration rpg that focuses on double battles and fusion! i havent finished it but i really loved what ive played so far

#for battling there is a focus on status effects but it lets you know whats what. you can also swap out moves #i like the archangles designs. very cool i ncomparison to the old pokemon like style the rest of the game is #theyre also adding online multiplayer eventually! rn its only local #when theres a big steam sale i nthe winter this and signalis are p at the top imo

I don’t know why people assume the devs and producers don’t know about The Sims modding scene, they’ve been collaborating with them long b4 these little sdx drops ( some of the first players to get to try out The Sims 3 were modders ), like with Bethesda, they know what modding does to lengthen a game’s relevance, there’s a reason why The Sims 3 is still almost full price to this day, so there isn’t a doubt in my mind they were seeing Patreon modders making living wages over mesh edits, and a light bulb went off.

With how well the mobile game was doing, and how a pretty substantial amount of The Sims 4’s playerbase plays on console, and therefore can’t access these mods, they saw their opportunity, and they took it.
