the way i see it, colin has three options for handling the repercussions of kissing michael on the pitch in front of everyone:

gatekeep: by some miracle no one caught the kiss on camera so colin's sexuality is kept between him and any fans who happened to be on the pitch near him. the safest option.

girlboss: keeley gets the pr challenge of a lifetime handling the story of the first active premier league player to come out as gay. rebecca is tall and powerful and intimidating in the press room making it clear that richmond stands behind colin one thousand percent. the most realistic option.

gaslight: straight-up blatantly lying. not because he's ashamed or because he thinks he can actually convince anyone that the kiss didn't happen, but just because he refuses to let it be a big deal. acts like he has no idea what anyone is talking about if asked anything related to his sexuality. he doesn't claim to be straight, mind you, he just pretends to be extremely confused about why they're asking because he never kissed anyone in the middle of a football pitch at the end of an internationally-televised game? when presented with photo and video proof of the kiss he says that was some other richmond player named hughes who wears a number 12 jersey. you don't know him, he goes to another school. the funniest option.

thank you! 💚💚💚 I'm not really sure why you think I don't like the earlier arcs though, I love pretty much all the characters and their storis! (I think 5 and 1 are my favorite of the past episodes, though 6 infected me with the Shroud brainrot something fierce.) I just...ESPECIALLY love diasomnia. :') but there is room in my heart for all of these dweebs! like, who among us is not just as ride-or-die for Adeuce as they are for us.

that said, I don't really follow the other adaptations like the manga (aside from a dip-in just to see the new Yuus) or the novels, though I keep meaning to check them out! I do like seeing the differences between the different forms of media, and how certain things get adapted one way or another! but alas, time/a lack of accessibility stands in our way more often than not. :( someday...someday I will have time to consume all of the media...

Of course, while everyone gets muffins, Gojo gets a whole cake for himself, so he's all smug.

It took all his training to slip past the threshold of the door undetected.

He usually didn’t need stealth for his mission. Being the strongest, he could just go in, guns blazing, get the job done, and be home by supper time. But this was different. Gojo felt like all his training as a jujutsu sorcerer had led up to this moment.

“What did I tell you about keeping away from those muffins?!”

“I just want one.” Gojo whined at [Y/N]. His long fingers just inches away from his prize. If he was quick, he could just snatch one and run away. But he would never do that because he was absolutely terrified of what they might do if he actually disobeyed their order to not touch the muffins.

“Those are for the kids tomorrow because they’re going to have a long day. Honestly Satoru, everything isn’t about you.”

Gojo stood to his full height now with a sigh and shoved his hands in his pockets. “I mean….isn’t part of the agreement on being married that I get all your sweet treats? Both baked and well….other things….” He winced at the small smack they landed on his shoulder.

“Don’t be gross. The kids are gonna have enough to deal with with the Kyoto team. Not to mention their friend coming back from the dead.”

“The Kyoto team is a bunch of nobodies.” Gojo scoffed. “And, Nobara-kun and Megumi will be so excited to see Yuji that they won’t need muffins. The sweet feeling of friendship will be all the treat they need.” He winched again when they smacked his hand away from the plate.

“I think they would prefer the muffins.”

They were putting the muffins in a box and closing the lid. Now that they were cooled there was no chance of Gojo getting one. He honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they put a cursed seal on it.

“If you don’t touch the muffins and be a good teacher tomorrow, and don’t fight with another from the Kyoto team, I will make you a cake to celebrate the kids passing the Goodwill event. Deal?”

His eyes began to sparkle in excitement. But then it faded as he thought for a moment on their deal. “I’m going to need some guidelines on what ‘fighting’ means. If Utahime comes after me I have to defend myself, right?”

“If you antagonize Utahime into attacking you then that doesn’t count.”

Another long pause. “I’m going to need some guidelines on what ‘antagonizing’ means before I agree.”

#listen im only in episode two and i know there's some drama going down but im focusing on this lol #i love that not only do they show the angel using a wheelchair and being ambulatory #but they also visibly show them miracling innaccessibility issues so that they Can still use the chair #instead of just getting rid of the disability #part of my is conflicted bc im like... there's disabilities in heaven? and that makes Me sad bc my disability is hell and painful as fuck #But getting rid of disability in fantasy is eugenist crap and showing that god made a disabled angel is a net good thing #while it personally makes me sad to think if there was a heaven i could still be in pain all the time #not all disabilites are bad and need to be cured we're a wide spectrum and we've been fighting for disabled rep esp in fantasy for ages #it's objectively good my personal feelings about my own disability aside #part of me thinks it's cliche to say 'you were made perfect' bc they're an angel But it's not we literally havent had this type of rep lol #anyways it made me happy to see #and im so glad it's a power chair user that's ambulatory it's important for abled ppl to see that #anyways y'all keep your drama and spoilers off my post im not far in and im only talking about this shoo #oh also!! love the fantasy hover chair they use in heaven specifically too i wish we had that it kicks ass #p

#trigun stampede #trigun #meryl stryfe #nicholas d wolfwood #vash the stampede #i cant even elaborate on this episode bc ive spent all day Thinking about it yesterday #and it made me Miserable #i just want to see vash have some autonomy again... #he is a little bit more on the quieter end for stampede as less angry about things but i dont think he's more of a coward in stampede #even though he was transported into his memories and saw and heard those terrible things from the kids and wolfwood #he was able to gather himself and keep going #his resilience has always been the strongest and also saddest thing about him #so it killed me irreversibly when he lost the one person who he could always look back to reliably #the fact knives couldnt even alter anything in rem's dialogue within those memories just stands for how strong her place is in vash's memory #and potentially knives just knows that would be too ooc of her to make in any Universe if she had something horrible. #man. Mhmm I sure love thinking of the reality where we did get more time to really know Karai and her dynamics with the bros. Losing her hit hard in the finale, but it would’ve hit much, much harder had we known Karai longer and really saw her relationships develop with everyone.

I especially would have been interested in her dynamic with Leo, as past iterations often have the two of them clash in ideals and the like while still sharing many characteristics. Two sides of the same coin, and all that. Her specifically being the bros’ Gram-Gram also adds a whole new dynamic as well.

Imagine how interesting it would be, to have Karai start off on Leo’s side for once, showing wholly just how alike the two are at their cores and bonding as family without the worry of betrayal or animosity that other iterations suffer through, only to have Karai die anyway. Their parting hug and the desperate look of horror Leo wears later on would have hit that much harder, I feel.
