#all of this to say that Momo is exactly the kind of fanboy to have a secret og re:vale tattoo hidden somewhere on his body

I want to hear the story of Momo's hair and his piercings. Like, at some point, fairly soon after joining Re:vale, he made the conscious decision to dye his hair the same white as Yuki's. He went out of his way to make Yuki's mark on him overt and visible to anyone who sees him. And yeah, maybe that makes him splashier and more eye-catching as an idol, especially in the days of Re:vale's formation where they were sort of just throwing themselves out there without any real course charted.
But still, he sat down at some point and decided to let Yuki's influence leave a permanent (semi-permanent) mark on his body. What was that like? Did he see Yuki dying the stripe in his hair one day and decide on the spot he'd dye his hair too? Did Yuki help him, that first time? Brushing bleach through his hair with messy gloved fingers and trying not to get it on the roots? Or did he do it himself, sneaking off with Yuki's dye to try to match the color? Was it planned? Did he do it to try to show unity between them for their audience, or was it a gesture done for Yuki alone, with the audience nothing more than a voyeuristic participant in his act of devotion?
And what of his piercings? Those really are a permanent mark on his body. Two helixes, green for Yuki and black for Ban, and his own pink studs through the lobe. Together, but apart. His Re:vale, the "real" Re:vale, high and obvious on his ear, a subtle homage but a permanent one. And Momo, quietly supporting them from afar.
Okay I may be reading too much into the piercings, but regardless of if they mean all that, he didn't even have his lobes pierced before joining Re:vale. He chose to do that for Yuki, for their Re:vale -- a Re:vale that he thought he was only going to be part of for 5 years. A permanent mark on his body for his transient role in his idol's life.

Nagi Rokuya Birthday Photobook Rabbit Chat Part 3: Nagi And His Senior Idols
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 4 | Part 5
Tsumugi: Thank you for gathering here today..! This project was created to show more of Nagi-san’s true nature as a way to commemorate the release of the Nagi Photobook.
Tsumugi: I’m sure you must be busy, but I’d like for you to talk as you usually do. I look forward to chatting with you!
Nagi: Feel free to discuss every one of my good points. Now, begin.
Ryunosuke: Hello, Nagi-kun! I was excited for your photobook!
Nagi: Hello.
Yuki: You're as cold as I heard.
Momo: Yoohoo, Nagi~! Mind giving us a little more of a warm welcome???
Nagi: I do not mean to treat you coldly. This is how I normally operate.
Yuki: Like a train?
Gaku: You're not like this when you talk to me. What's going on?
Nagi: Hm, is that so? Perhaps I must correct my conduct around you...
Gaku: Why? (lol)
Tenn: Gaku, are you done trying to act like the two of you are best friends?
Ryunosuke: Wait, Gaku and Nagi-kun are friends!? I want to be friends with him, too. Do you think we could make that happen?
Tenn: Ryu, you're veering dangerously close to flirty territory again.
Ryunosuke: Huh!?
Yuki: It's almost scary, how unaware of his own flirting he is. He and Nagi-kun are pretty much polar opposites.
Momo: I think you're a little like Ryu in that respect, too...
Yuki: Am I?
Tsumugi: Nagi-san, please say something ><
Ryunosuke: Did he fall asleep?
Nagi: Of course not. I was merely observing our chat log, in case any of you felt like talking about my photobook.
Gaku: Geez, you're really gonna keep doing this aren't you? (lol)
Tenn: Nagi Rokuya, your crying face makes you look like a child.
Momo: Ah, you mean in the social media pic~!? Wasn't that taken during one of his Cocona marathons? lolol
Nagi: OH, I was not expecting you to open with that. Cute, was it not? Although Mitsuki is the only cutie we need.
Gaku: I thought we were finally gonna talk about your photobook, but now you're just bragging about your teammates!
Nagi: Is that a problem? :-)))
Gaku: No!
Nagi: I do enjoy your banter, Yaotome-shi.
Momo: Nagi, you're so funny, lolololol
Nagi: Am I? :-P
Yuki: I didn't know you even could cry.
Nagi: ? What do you mean?
Yuki: Nothing.
Ryunosuke: That picture of you with the cherry blossoms was cool! I was completely drawn to it.
Nagi: I think you should take a photograph in front of the nighttime sakura, as well.
Ryunosuke: I'm not really the type who'd look good around sakura, lol
Yuki: You're more of a hibiscus kind of guy.
Tenn: Totally.
Nagi: Uminchu (1).
Tsumugi: Mitsuki-san just sent me a message saying: "Nagi's trying to mail order a ton of hibiscuses and send them to Yaotome Productions, I'll go pretend I'm Cocona until he comes to his senses"..!?
Ryunosuke: W-why!?
Yuki: That's hilarious.
Tenn: No, it's not...
Gaku: Yeah, it is.
Tenn: It shouldn't be.
Momo: Hey, Nagi! Why were you trying to send them hibiscuses!? lolololol
Nagi: So Tsunashi-shi may be photographed against a hibiscus background? He may not look as good as me, but I am sure they will suit him nonetheless.
Nagi: Consider it a thanks for his appreciation of the photobook Sogo produced for me.
Ryunosuke: B-but... I just said what I felt, are you sure I should accept the flowers?
Tenn: Don't look so happy, Ryu.
Yuki: Maybe you could send me flowers, too
Nagi: Will edible flowers do?
Momo: LMAO
Tsumugi: Um, I received another message from Mitsuki-san, this time saying "He's just got this creepy, serene look on his face! And he's not stopping, in fact now he's trying to buy edible flowers"...
Momo: He's actually doing it, lolololol
Yuki: How many were you planning to get us, by the way?
Nagi: 1100.
Momo: Figures!!! Are you rewarding us for talking about the Nagi Photobook or something!? lololol
Gaku: Is this some kind of reforestation campaign?
Nagi: You are to photograph yourselves in front of the flowers I send you, holding a Nagi Photobook, and then upload it on social media.
Nagi: On June 20th, at exactly midnight, of course :-))))
Yuki: That'll be one hell of a picture. Sounds fun
Momo: Let's do it! A handsome Nagi in bed plus Re:vale in front of tons of edible flowers equals a massive reaction, lololol
Ryunosuke: Now I'm getting nervous! It's a big responsibility, but I'll try my best to take a good picture.
Gaku: Ryu, if you're doing it, don't take the  photo yourself. I'll do it.
Ryunosuke: Thank you!
Tenn: I don't care anymore.
Tsumugi: Before we get more sidetracked, here are some questions the others prepared for you...
Nagi: I was waiting for this. It is about time  for me to free Mitsuki,  who is still pretending  to be Cocona for me X-P
Choices/outcomes:
1. Why do you like anime?
Nagi: It is a long story... But to put it shortly, anime is one of the things that saved me.
2. Meat or veggies?
Nagi: I like both. But if you mean my conduct with the ladies, I am more of a carnivorous type... ;-P
3. Do you do anything specific to maintain your physique?
Nagi: I watch Cocona. The sheer excitement is enough for me to break into a sweat, and it has a detoxing effect.
Nagi: I look  forward to each of your  photobooks, as well.
Gaku: Oh, that's nice to hear. Let us know what you thought, okay (lol)
Nagi: I think I will be able to judge them based entirely on how Sogo will be acting when they release.
Gaku: Why Osaka?
Ryunosuke: He did say he's our fan!
Nagi: Unfortunately, that appears to be the case ;-(
Yuki: Unfortunately?
Nagi: Sogo and Mitsuki are such rabid fanboys ;-(
Nagi: By the way, Kujo-shi, I hope you will look forward to the Riku Photobook, which I will be producing.
Tenn: ^^
Tsumugi: Aaaah, I'll cut this part out of the public version..!
Tenn: Oh. Okay then.
Tenn: I expect a cover portraying your center as the healthy and wholesome 18-year- old he is ^^
Nagi: OH, do not fret, Kujo-shi. I understand  completely (V)o¥o(V)
Tenn: What is that kaomoji supposed to be..?
Nagi: (V)o¥o(V)
Momo: I knew this when I read your photobook, but you've gotten soft, Nagi! In a good way!
Nagi: What? But I have not gained any weight!
Momo: That's not what I meant, lololol I meant your personality and vibe, stuff like that.
Nagi: What makes you say that?
Momo: Just a hunch!
Nagi: A hunch?
Momo: You used to be like Yuki, when he was younger.
Yuki: Did he now? Does that mean I should get into Cocona, too?
Momo: Nah, I think you're good, lololol
Gaku: I kinda get what you mean. My image of him changed after we did MATSURI together, too.
Nagi: If that is the case... Then perhaps I have finally found a place where I can truly be myself.
Ryunosuke: Are you happy right now, Nagi-kun?
Nagi: Yes. More than anyone else in the world.
Ryunosuke: That's great!
Tenn: You've found something to hold dear.
Nagi: Moments of happiness, sadness, and anger. It is a routine we have come to share. I think it has changed not only me, but each and every one of us.
Nagi: Meeting all of you has changed us greatly. Thank you for paving the way for us.
Momo: He's finally warmed up to us..!
Yuki: That he has.
Nagi: Though we will be the ones paving the rest of the way for you :-P
Gaku: Nah, he's still his usual self (lol)
Tsumugi: We've changed because of you, Nagi-san.
Tsumugi: Thank you for keeping your cool. No matter what happens, I feel like we can always get back on track, as long as you're with us.
Tsumugi: Still, I know we can't keep relying on you like this... So I'll make sure to become the kind of manager you can even complain to!
Nagi: I thought a true man should never complain.
Nagi: However, I now realize that my feelings on the matter might be hurting you.
Nagi: Thank you all for coming here tonight. I was happy to talk to you.
Nagi: Though I do not dare wish for more, I have come to feel that maybe having 12 of us is even better than having 7 of us. I hope you will understand this feeling, too.

Chapter 31 - Attention
Chapter 30
Tumblr media
The next two days of the training camp, Class 1-B joined Class 1-A in training with their quirk.  The students worked on improving their quirks differently with a different exercise. Y/N decided to focus on her training since that was her top priority at the moment anyway. To be honest that was good for her and what distracted her from whatever happened the day before.
But good things don't last long.
As evening arrived and the time came for the students to eat dinner, they remembered what they were explained the previous day - the Pussycats won't cook the food. Instead, they provided the students with the ingredients to make curry. While every other student were too tired to even think about cooking, somehow Tenya's encouragement brought back the spirit to work together again.
But well, cooking wasn't exactly enough to make Y/N forget about how she was an extra to Bakugou. As the girls were separating the vegetables on the table, ready to cut it into pieces, her eyes kept searching for the blond. He was standing with the others near the stove, who were working on lighting it up.
But god, it made her feel stupid. Stupid how she was still looking for him after what he said. Stupid how a smile covered her face when she saw him bickering with her classmates. Stupid how...how a simple glance from him made her blush.
She quickly averted her gaze and cleared her throat towards the girls in front of her. "Cut the potatoes, will ya?" Mina said passing her the potatoes she washed and peeled. Y/N smiled and with a sigh of relief she started doing her part of work.
Dinner wasn't as bad as she thought it would be. Well, ofcourse apart from the tiring day, when you put effort in cooking something it always tastes amazing.
"Can you eat by yourself or..." Kyoka asked concerned, "I think it's best if I feed you today."
"Honestly I keep thinking about what Momo said. It's probably better if I eat by myself. It's good for training!" Y/N chuckled, holding her shaking right hand.
"Shut the fuck up," Kyoka said and took her plate, feeding her the dinner.
Yes, training was a bit hard and using her hands excessively made it shake. On the top of that, she decided to cut the potatoes and ended up cutting a little bit of her finger. So, Kyoka decided to do what was best for her stupid best friend.
"Did you talk to him?" she asked.
"I did actually and um.." Y/N gulped down her food and said, "let's just say I didn't like his answer."
"What did he say?"
Y/N chuckled and fiddled her fingers, "He called me an extra."
Kyoka knew how much she hated the word, especially if it came from Bakugou but tried to be a bit positive for her friend, "He calls everyone an extra."
"Really? I never heard him call Kirishima an extra," she looked down with a painful smile on her face.
Kyoka sighed and fed her another spoon, "You know what, there's no use in sugarcoating the words. Look if he's calling you an extra even now, I think it's a signal for you to stop being in this one-sided friendship."
"Maybe...I'll try I guess," she said, "I think it's better to focus on my training."
"Damn right. But yeah don't be stupid and overwork yourself like you did today. I get that it's...not easy but distracting yourself from the problem only means you're stalling from facing it. Eventually you have to deal with it."
"God, can you for once try to be fake and like cheer me up?"
"No," Kyoka smiled, "Besides, you're both the problem here. He's being a dick and you think it's okay to be friends even when he doesn't acknowledge it. Take your time but fucking get to it."
Tumblr media
The third day of training, Y/N decided to take Kyoka's advice.
Well, only a little bit. She ignored Bakugou instead of slowly retreating herself from the friendship. She needed time to deal with it and for now, training was mostly important to her.
And Bakugou noticed it too. She was looking at him lesser than usual. Sure, it made him feel relieved but at the same time, if he was being honest, he wanted her to look.
He wanted her attention.
Something that he loathes when it came from his other classmates if it's excessive. Bakugou knew she tried to talk to him like the way she usually did, but the thing is, when he's aware of her feelings it's hard to ignore. And he didn't know what to do about this information. Talking to Kirishima meant endless teasing, and he didn't want to be a part of it. But her feelings..he didn't know how to handle it. The only possible solution was to pretend like nothing happened and go back to how things were earlier.
He was more observant now when it came to her. He could feel her bitter mood just by looking and whether he liked it or not, in the end he knew he just can't deny this thing they had - call it friendship or study buddies. But when he thought about it, somehow he didn't like to imagine Y/N stopping it. He didn't want her to treat her like the others. He didn't want to let go of how he can affect her.
He just needed some time to get over this bullshit, right? It would go away after a few months.
As dinner time arrived, the students got ready to prepare their meal again.
Y/N went towards the table, getting ready to do her part of work when she noticed Bakugou standing in her place. She quietly stood staring at him, wondering if she should ask him to move after ignoring his presence the whole day. But to be honest, she didn't even know if he even noticed her the whole day in the first place.
Deciding that her feelings shouldn't be in the way of her work, she approached him. "Uh hey, that's kind of my job."
Bakugou who was cutting potatoes like a pro, stopped for a moment and said, "You are needed elsewhere. Start up the fire or something, don't disturb me. You are bad at this anyway."
Y/N noticed the perfectly sliced potatoes and turned to go to Momo, for instructions. Bakugou looked at her retreating figure and then his eyes went towards her hand, on the little band-aid on her finger. Surely she has handled worse than this.
But...it annoyed him to watch her struggle the day before. She was bad at this and he in no way was going to allow her to ruin the food....
....or her hands. Whatever.
Y/N got to cook the food instead. She cooked a curry with all the ingredients prepared by the others.
Tumblr media
"We've filled our bellies and clean the dishes! It's time for test of courage!" Pixie Bob said as Aizawa took the remedial students to study while the others stayed behind to play the mini-game.
Class B will start as scarers and be in their positions while Class A will leave in pairs and walk around the forest and collect tags with their names in end of the routes. The only rule was that Class B wasn't allowed to make any physical contact, but they can use their quirks to scare the students.
"Pairs, huh?" Y/N muttered as her eyes went towards Bakugou, and released a tiny gasp. He was looking at her, but she couldn't understand why. Cause he was surely looking at her like he usually did but this time she noticed something more in his eyes. She couldn't pinpoint it. And before she began to overthink it, she decided to look away, concentrating on the instructions.
A blush covered her face as she thought of it. It would be a lie if she said she didn't imagine this before. A girl and a guy together in a scary house? It gave both of them a sense of closeness and comfort. She imagined herself, holding onto Bakugou's arm during the game, while he kept his usual demeanor. And then someone scares them, she hugs him close...
...and then Bakugou slaps her to Mars. Cause let's be real, Bakugou already found her presence annoying. It always feels better in imagination, doesn't it?
The pairs were decided randomly by drawing papers including their names and Y/N ended up with someone she drifted away from since the course began.
"How's it going fanboy?" she asked approaching her partner.
"It has been a while Y/N," Midoriya said, smiling.

My Hero Academia Main 3 Boys x Reader Ch.2 Battle of Heroes vs Villains
Pt. 1
Here’s part 2! Sorry for any mistakes, I hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
-*-*-*-*-*-
The next day at school you felt better than ever. Even though you had to sit through regular core classes like any other high school, it was still amazing to you. You were learning from Pro Heroes. How could that get any better?
When lunch rolls around you're shocked to find Lunch Rush, the Cook Hero making the food. You sit next to the friends you made yesterday, and get to know them a lot better while digging into the amazing food that has been served. Then came your favorite part of the day.
During your afternoon classes is when things finally were turned up a notch. You were sitting in your desk for your Hero Basic Training to start, when a loud and booming voice came through the door.
"I AM HERE!" Everyone turned their heads to the door, eyes wide. You were amazed, you've heard that the one and only Number One Pro Hero was teaching at the school, but you never would've thought he'd be teaching you first years!
"Coming through the door like a hero!" AllMight yelled, his grin from ear to ear as always.
"So he is a teacher!" Kirishima stuck a fist in the air, he turned to you with a wide smile.
"This year is going to be awesome!" All you could do was nod back, too excited to speak.
You noticed he was wearing an old classic costume of his, and only smiled larger when Tsu- is what she wanted everyone to call her, pointed it out as well.
"Consider this class as Hero 101! This is your most important class, and you'll be learning the basics of becoming a pro! As well as what it truly means to fight in the name of good."
He turns around, looking like he was grabbing something from behind the desk, before turning back around and presented what he had. A card with giant block letters spelling out  'BATTLE' was shown.
"Fight training!" You heard Bakugou shout out, his voice sounding less nasty and more like he was having a good time? Well, he did seem like the guy to have a great time bashing heads together. You shake your head and focused back to AllMight.
"One of the keys to being a hero issss.. LOOKING GOOD!" He pointed over towards the wall, where a bunch of suitcases lined up with a number representing each student. These had to be your hero costumes!
"These were made with the designs you guys had turned in with all that enrollment paperwork!" You tried not to let it show but you were really curious on how they made your costume look.
You suited up with AllMights  directions, ready to see what will be happening at training ground Beta. You walked outside the locker rooms to see Bakugou walking out as well. His costume was, pretty extreme. But, you had to admit it really suited his personality. You had to stifle a laugh at the gauntlets, but you didn't do a good job when he turned his head in your direction.
"You got something to say you fucking glow worm."
Your eyebrow raised at the name, trying to figure out why he was calling you a glow worm of all things. Then you realized, you tend to glow when you try to make your body into Photons to act as light. So you smirked light while crossing your arms, giving him a sassy retort back.
"Uh glow worm? C'mon Bakugou I'm sure you can do better than that."  He huffed at you, eyes narrowing. He seemed to actually be thinking of another name, and although you didn't like the fact he had to call you a nickname, it was still nice to not be called a shitty extra, as he so liked to call everyone.
"Tsk, stop wasting my time glitter bomb." With that he walked away to the training ground.
"Glitter bomb?" You muttered to yourself, following him. That was really any better, you almost preferred glow worm.
. At least glitter bomb was much cuter, and even if he said it with a nasty frown, hopefully he didn't think too badly of you. You walked out with everyone else following behind you, hearing AllMight yelling about how now you have to think of yourselves as heroes in training. Ah, you liked the sound of that.
"You all look so cool! You bunch of newbies!" AllMight laughed as soon as you all were standing in front of him. You took the time to look around and you had to agree, you all looked really amazing. However you noticed Deku's costume and you actually had to let out a laugh. It was kind of cute of him in his fanboy costume. It looked not as nicely made as the others costumes, so maybe it was a gift. Still, it was a nice sight to see. You saw AllMights face when he realized the same thing, causing you to laugh again.
"What's so funny huh (y/n)?" You looked to Kirishima and shrugged, slyly looking towards where Deku was talking to Ochaco.
"Tsk, a second rate suit for a second rate nobody." You hear Bakugou grumble under his breath, and you meet his eyes.
"You know it's kinda cute how simple it is, and the fact it's supposed to resemble AllMight." You swear you saw a vein pop out of his head.
"Shut up stupid glow worm!" Kirishima looked between the both of you, confusion painted on his face.
"Glow worm..?" You ignored him for the moment, still looking at Bakugou.
"What happened to glitter bomb?"
"I SAID SHUT UP!" He briskly walked towards the front of the class, leaving you and Kirishima towards the back.
"UH? Glow worm? Glitter bomb? I'm so confused." You pat his arm with a smile, choosing to say nothing once more before looking back at your instructor.
"Now that your ready, it's time for combat training!"
"SIR!" Iida called out, he was decked out in a full body suit of armor. "This is the fake city from the entrance exam, does that mean we'll be conducting urban battles again?"
Give it to Iida about going above and beyond with asking questions. You admired his high sense of authority, and couldn't help but feel a little jealous. Your father acted like this every day, having to deal with sidekicks and his own crew, making the most tactful choices and asking all the right questions. You hands clenched at your side. You had to step it up if you were one day going to be as great of a Pro Hero as he was.
"Not exactly!" Replied AllMight, holding up a peace sign with his fingers.
"I'm going to get you two steps ahead!" AllMight begins to talk about hero vs villain fights happen outside, but things can always take place indoors. He went on giving examples of backroom deals and home invasions. You mentally agreed that the most shadiest stuff was always going on inside, somewhere that was more private to the public eye.
"This training exercise will be split between the heroes and the villains., and pin you up against each other."
"Isn't this pretty advanced for us?" Tsu asked, her brows furrowing as she thought.
"Think of it this way, the best way to learn is through experience! Plus you won't be dealing with robots, you'll be dealing with actual people now.
"Sir will you be deciding who wins?" Momo asks.
"How much can we hurt the other team?" Of course the one to ask that was no one other than Bakugou.
"Do we need to worry about the losers getting expelled?" Ochaco was nervous when she asked, you saw her almost shaking in worry.
"Will you be splitting us up on chance or skill?" The ever so thoughtful Iida asked.
"How exactly will we be able to win?" You asked, "What's the goal of the exercise?"
"Is the cape amazing?"
With all the questions being asked, AllMight looked far too overwhelmed. This guy dealt with villains all the time, you'd think he can handle a few kids.
"I wasn't finished. LISTEN UP," He pulls out a script.
"The situation is the villains have hidden a nuclear weapon somewhere in the 5 story building. The heroes must stop them and their plans! You have two ways to complete the job, either catch the villains, or recover the weapon! Likewise the villains have a chance to win if they protect their weapon or capture the heroes. There's a time limit so here, we will choose teams by drawing lots!"
"Why lots? Can't we decide teams based off of quirks? Wouldn't that be more practical?" Iida asked. You looked up at him from where you stood and spoke up.
"It's easy to believe that when fighting villains you'll be able to team up with people you know. But that really isn't the case."
Deku smiled at you, nodding quickly to agree.
"Yea Iida think about it, most heroes don't have a choice for who they are partnered up with for cases. That's probably why we're learning it like this!"
"Yea you guys are right, life is not a straight line. Excuse my rudeness." Iida bowed at AllMight, who just turned and waved him off.
"Don't worry about it, let's draw!"
You all walked up and picked papers out of the box, you were team A. You looked at Kirishima who only shrugged.
"Sorry man, guess we aren't together on this."
"U-uh hey (y/n)! I think we're partners!" You saw Deku smile at you, and you grinned back.
"Hey there Midoriya, sounds like a plan!" He nodded shyly and rubbed the back of his head.
"You can call me Izuku if you want. Not that you have to, I just know that everyone has been calling by your first name so I figured since I'm calling you by your first name you'll want to call me by my first name, or even just to have it even so we can call each other by our names. But maybe you don't feel comfortable and are only going to do it out of obligation-" Deku was talking a mile per minute and you had to get your thoughts together before you could shut him up.
"Izuku chill out, I don't mind. I prefer calling everyone by their first names. To me it makes us all closer don't you think?" You smiled, to show him you were serious. He was blushing, probably because all that talking made him out of breath. Before nodding again eagerly.
"Y-yeah of course!"
"I declare the first team to fight will beeeee..." AllMight trails off, digging his hands into both boxes labeled 'Hero' and 'Villain'.
"These guys!"
He held up an A ball and D ball.
"Hey looks like we're up first Izuku, isn't this going to be fun-Izuku?" You looked at him with a grin before it faded at his shocked expression. You saw why once you felt a glare towards your team. Bakugou was frowning, murderous intent in his red eyes.
"Everyone else, head to the monitoring room! A team you're our heroes, D team, the Villains!" You watched the class walk on, still looking at the glaring Bakugou and shy Midoriya. You gave him a reassuring squeeze on the shoulder, and he glanced over to you.
"We got this." He smiled stiffly, his eyes hardening in determination and his fists squeezed together. He stared straight back at Bakugou, which caused the other to jolt back in surprise. He must've never seen him like this before you thought.
Bakugou practically growled at the two of you with an intense look. Which was only cut off by AllMight telling the bad guys to get settled inside the building. So Iida and Bakugou headed inside, while you and Midoriya stayed out. You were given a layout of the building, and you stared at it trying to formulate a plan.
"It's a lot to take in, but it's better than going in blind. Most Pro Heroes don't get the luxury of knowledge." You say while looking over the paper, trying to drink in all the details you could.
"So we can relax just a little-ah geez Izuku you're practically sweating through your costume." You snicker while glancing at the boy next to you. He looked terrible nervous, none of that determination from earlier when looking at Bakugou had stuck apparently.
"Uh well, it's um," He bit his lip looking away, you felt your stomach churn, This kid was like a chihuahua, he was going to come right out of his red sneakers. "We're just going up against Kachan, and there's Iida too. We just really need to stay on our guard." You hummed in agreement.
"Bakugou, you have a funny nickname for him too, huh? Yea seems like he likes those." You chuckle, remembering the stupid ones he called you, and that he calls Izuku, Deku.
"What's up with you two anyway? He's always glaring at you. Well, even harsher than he glares at everything else."
"Uh, it's a long story.. But, I just know we have to be careful because he's really amazing. He can be a real pain sure, but he has strength, ambition, and confidence. Plus his quirk is so much better than mine. But that just means I have to try harder than ever. I refuse to lose today." He glares up at the building, popping his mask on. His shaking has stopped, and you felt yourself smile.
"So I see, it's a battle we can't afford to lose." He looked at you, blush back and shakes returning. Oh man, this kid has some mixed emotions.
"You don't need to try so hard for me! I can't get you mixed in my fight!"
You take a hold of one of his outstretched hands. Giving him a bright smile. His cheeks went darker as he stared at your hand in his.
"It's not just for you. I want to win too. Plus, we are a team. No way in hell am I letting us lose today, you can count on me Izuku."
"Yeah!"
"Alright! Let's begin, team A enter the building! The clock starts now!" AllMights voice sounds from the intercom, you give Deku a nod as you both race inside. You both crept in through a window, carefully walking around corners. You both fixed your ear pieces, making sure your contact stayed on. You felt energy swirling in you, an adrenaline rush coursing through your veins. You let Deku lead the way, guarding his back, and he looked around corners. You two were silent and stealthily.
You wondered if both of the boys would both be waiting for you in the room where the weapon was, sure Bakugou may have been a hothead but surely he was smart and tactful. Along with Iida, you were sure he had a plan at the very least. You both paused before coming up to your next corner, moving onward. You heard a slight movement and you held Izuku back, signalling him to be quiet. But it was too late, Bakugou was jumping from a hallway that you both hadn't seen before hand, aiming a punch directly at Deku. You held onto him as you jumped backwards, narrowly avoiding a full on punch. Smoke went everywhere, and you fell straight on top of Izuku.
"You good Izuku?" You questioned, jumping off of him and getting back on your feet. You missed the blush he had when you were pressed against him, but he shook it off. Going back to the battle in front of him.
"Yea I'm good." You looked down and saw no blood on his face even though his mask had been torn off along the left side.
"Good, it was just your mask." The smoked cleared as Bakugou smirked towards Izuku.
"What's wrong Deku, afraid to fight me yourself?"
"I knew you'd come for me first." Izuku gritted out, standing beside you. You looked between both boys, your hands starting to glow with your light. You willed the light to change it's formula as you let it harden over your wrists. The light burned you, but over many years of trying to perfect  your quirk made you numb to the pain, as well as the gloves you wore really helped with it.
"Sneak attack, very villain like Bakugou. " You said while you jumped up and swung, missing him by a thread as he tried to counter with a kick to your torso. You dodged it last second, landing behind him. Using your quirk like how you did during the long jump, you shot out a few light rays, solidifying them to give you a boost. You went to give a roundhouse kick but ended up missing again. Bakugou was able to grab your wrist and toss you to the side, close to the ground by Izuku. You spun yourself last second landing on your feet crouching to stop your momentum with your hand. You were able to lessen the damage of what would've happened if your back had taken the fall.
"Stay out of my way shitty glitter bomb. I'm not here for you." He glared at Deku, charging forward.
"I want to hurt you so bad, they're going to have to stop the fight!" Before you could run towards him, Izuku sprinted past you, and grabbed his right arm last second as if he knew that'd be his first move. You were as shocked as Bakugou looked when Izuku managed to flip him over and land him on his backside with a painfully loud thud. You saw spit fly out of Bakugou's mouth and you wondered how much force Deku actually put into that throw.
Izuku was breathing deeply as he spilled his secret.
"Kaachan, you always use a big right hook when you start a fight." You looked over at Deku, was he seriously that in tune with his surroundings and the people in it? How observant was this guy?
"I know because I've watched you for years! I've analyzed every amazing hero, that includes you. Everything was in the notebook you burned and tossed out the window." He stood up tall, fear in his eyes but body held up with something much stronger than that.
"You can call me Deku, but I'm not the same hopeless kid anymore! You understand? I've changed, for now on, Deku is the name of a hero!" You grinned, a part of you felt happy that Izuku was overcoming any obstacles. It seems these two had a rough past, one you didn't want to get into or get in the middle of, but that didn't mean you couldn't feel proud for someone standing up for themselves.
You quickly realized that if you left now to go obtain the bomb more than likely Bakugou would not follow you. His fight was 100% with Izuku and you were just someone in the way of that. But if you left him here with Bakugou, with Izuku's quirk the way it was he had no chance of really doing anything to him. Bakugou may have been surprised and taken down by that sneak attack, but there was no way he'd be able to keep that up. Bakugou would overcome that in an instant.
"Deku.." Bakugou huffed, his anger rising faster than you've ever seen it. "You're shaking in your boots you're so scared. Why do you always insist on fighting me.. THAT’S WHY I HATE YOU!"
You saw the blue light from Bakugou’s earpiece go off, before he yelled back in it for Iida to shut up and defend the weapon. You realized if you were going to go, you would have to go now. You made eye contact with Midoriya who nodded in your direction. Seems that great minds think alike.
"(y/n) hurry go!" You cast a beam of light, aiming for Bakugou's  eyes as he used his quirk to push himself forward towards Deku, before running off. Bakugou snarled as that caused him to miss kicking out Izuku's legs and hitting his arm instead, giving him a slight advantage.
" FUCK!That was fucking too bright, that shitty girl. Ballsy move Deku. You think you're so tough trying to take me on without that STUPID GLOW WORMS HELP!"
That was the last you heard of their battle before you dashed away. You were trying to locate the bomb and Iida who was with it. You knew at least he was taking this seriously, and you really needed a plan before you found him. You knew you were safe from Bakugou, the guy must've been working alone, which you're sure put Iida in a sour mood. He's going to try to make up for his missing partner and be an even bigger pain in your ass.
You heard shuffling from one of the rooms, and you knew this must have been it. You hid behind a pillar, taking a quick glance and saw Iida talking to himself. Hearing him mutter about villainy things. You tried not to make any noise as you snuck around, pillar after pillar. Hoping to make this a quick and easy mission, to make sure Bakugou didn't hurt Izuku more than he had to.
You unfortunately misinterpreted a move and Iida spotted you from the corner of his eye.
"Ah (y/n)! There you are, I knew you would be here alone Bakugou ran off to engage in a battle with Midoriya. Your quirk has to deal with sunlight right? Well I made sure you wouldn't get any of it, seeing as I blocked off the windows allowing no light to shine through! Muawhahah! What are you going to do now you hero scum!" You glanced around saw all the impressive ways he blocked the sunlight from entering.
"Sorry to burst your bubble, villain! I don't need direct sunlight all the time!" You sent off a ray of light, blinding him just like you did with Bakugou, before running off behind another pillar.
You couldn't make a run for the weapon, Iida was faster than you when you weren't using your quirk, and since there was no water nearby you couldn't afford overheating yourself too early in the game, you'd be defenseless for a while until you were able to cool yourself down. You held your earpiece and contacted your partner.
"Izuku, are you alright?"  The piece crackled as he responded.
"I'm here, what's wrong."
"Right now nothing bad, Iida spotted me before I could reach the weapon, and he blocked off any light. I may be able to outrun him but if it doesn't work I'm down for the count. Even with my suit built for me I doubt it'll cool me down in time to continue the fight before I get caught."
"I understand, where are you at?"
"Near the middle of the top floor."
"You're right above me, hang tight. We probably don't have much time. We can't give up yet. Keep him distracted, I'll tell you when."
"Roger. I'm counting on you Izuku."
You didn't hear anything back, so you got to work, You kept making small bursts of light come off your hands, dodging from one pillar to the next. Even without his sight, he was able to find you and take swings. You dodged them all, rolling and ducking away. Till a giant explosion had the whole building rattling, you looked at Iida, shock on your face, and while he was wearing a mask, you assumed he had the same expression when he asked you what the hell was that.
You bit your lip, praying Izuku was alright, things weren't going well based on the current position. Iida got side tracked, trying to contact Bakugou through his own earpiece.
"Bakugou! Come in, did you cause that blast!" You were going to take advantage of his distraction. You willed your light to travel to your feet and you took off, simultaneously making your light from regular beams to solids, back to rays again. Giving you an added boost. It was terribly difficult, and you were focusing on making sure you didn't mess up. Your feet burned but you kept going, the sweat never reaching your eyes as your mask caught it all. Your body was overheating itself but you couldn't afford to stop now!
However, Iida was too fast, and used his engines to burst his speed and move the bomb towards the other side of the room. You were able to stop yourself right before you ran into the wall, turning around and shooting a glare.
"Nice try, but you're no match for my speed the way you are now. I'm sure the fact that there is no light is causing you to use whatever kind of storage you have, meaning if you keep this up you'll be drained. So I can easily keep this weapon out of your grasp until you run out, or the time does! Muahahah." You huff, teeth grinding as he actually got that part of your quirk right.
You never remember telling him how the ins and outs of your quirk was, and you briefly explained it to Kirishima and the others when you ran the race, so all he knew was from that conversation. Even then, that was very brief and you didn't go into details. All you could do was bluff.
"You're smart, I'll give you that. But you're completely wrong about my quirk. I can keep going, can you?" You threw another beam dashing around trying to get to the other side of the room, but Iida knew how to keep you at bay, moving it back to another position across the room. You clench your hands into fists, willing the light around them. You threw punches, anything to try to get him away from the weapon, even if you couldn't reach it, he wasn't able to move it. You heard your earpiece crackle, and Izuku's voice come through.
"(y/n) what's the situation, you okay?"
"Not looking too good, I can't get close to him or past him. He's too fast for me right now."
You didn't hear his reply, but AllMights voice rang throughout the area.
"Bakugou, use that stored up power again and not only I will stop this fight, but your team will lose. " You glanced at Iida, taking this time to give yourself a break. You were heavily overheating, and you could feel your suit work to try to cool you down, but it wasn't enough. At least not for what you have planned. You needed the rest of your strength if this was going to work.
"To employ such a strong attack indoors is inviting the destruction of the stronghold you should be protecting! That's a poor strategy, whether you're a hero or a villain. The penalty is a massive loss of points resulting in your loss."
"Get to the pillar by the window, get there now and stay out of the middle."
You smiled. This will finally be over, you both were going to win. You dashed there, ignoring the strange look from Iida.
"Running away are we? No matter, time is up soon anyways! Attack from long range all you'd like!" He shouted after you, and you used smaller light blasts to try to let him think you were still trying to do long range.
You felt the ground rumble and you knew this must of been it, you heard him shout your name.
"(Y/N) GO NOW!"
"Roger!" You shouted back, charging up your energy, feeling yourself break down and start to glow. You grew hotter by the second and felt the building shake even worse than it did for Bakugou. The windows shattered and you felt light poor in, which help you out even more now that you can replenish your energy. The ground in the middle split off and a beam fell which allowed you to use it as a pathway.
You charged up and sprinted, reaching the weapon before Iida could even get his bearings in order. He was so focused on not getting blown away by Izuku's blast. You ended up hugging the base of the weapon, almost knocking it over with how fast you were going. You let out a sigh of relief, but also a groan of pain when you felt how hot your body was an the air surrounding you. Your suit was going into overdrive, and you're lucky you didn't have to continue fighting, you were drained.
"NO! THE WEAPON!" Iida yelled, upset he had lost.
"The hero team, WIIIINS!" You heard AllMight's shout. "Your indoor combat training is over."
You fell from the bomb and landed on your behind, steam coming off of you and mixing with the clouds from the destroyed building. Iida rushed to your side, trying to stroke your back but you were too hot, even with his gloves. He immediately pulled away. He was surprised you weren't melting through the floor at this very moment.
"Are you alright?" You nodded weakly, trying to breathe in large amounts of air in hopes you'll cool down faster. Iida began to fan you, hoping something would help.
When you were able to stand after cooling down a bit, Iida helped you to the bottom. You both walked back to the examination room to see how well you did. You looked around for Deku but you couldn't find him.
"Do not worry miss Hakamata, young Midoriya is with Recovery Girl, getting his wounds healed.
You only nodded in response, still slightly out of it but getting better. While there wasn't any more steam, you were hot to the touch, like accidentally touching a cooling stove. Not terrible but still painful.
"Despite the winners here today, I can say that both sides have done amazingly. Miss Hakamata and young Iida have proven themselves to be co-winners in the battle!"
You both looked at AllMight in shock, not understanding how you both could have won.
"Shouldn't there be only one winner? Like just (y/n), since she was one of the winners?" Tsu asked, her tongue flopping out of her mouth as her head tilted.
"Valid question! Who can take a guess as to why it was the both of them?"
Momo raises her hand.
"Sir, I can tell you exactly why. Iida embraced this challenge wholeheartedly, and thought logically as the villain. Taking steps to ensure his enemy's defeat, like by blocking all the sunlight in the room to weaken his opponent. He adapted to his assigned role perfectly. While Hakamata was very quick thinking, knowing that she couldn't use her trump card so early on, and sticking to dodging and smaller attacks to watch out for not only the missile, but even the villain. As heroes, we should always aim to immobilize not kill. To look for the perfect opportunity in any situation and that's exactly what she did." You felt proud that someone saw what you were trying to do, and even a bit bashful getting this praise.
"While Bakugou had his judgement clouded due to a personal grudge, he had no care for what was around him, causing him to let off a large scale attack that would have been bad if the missile were real. Villain or not he should always put the plan first. While the same thing goes for Midoriya, while his plan gave his team the edge it needed to complete the mission, it was poorly thought out and could've- did, render himself helpless, which helped no one considering Bakugou was still on the loose."
You could see the praise getting to Iida from where you stood, he was on the left side of Bakugou while you sandwiched him in on the right. You flushed lightly, looking away from the eyes of your peers. AllMight looked to be shaking as Momo finished her rant, coughing before continuing.
"well uh yes, you missed a few things such as young Iida could have relaxed a bit, and Miss Hakamata should have been more open to using her move if it would've meant less damage in the future. However, good job! You nailed it! Let's move on to the next battle."
You looked at Bakugou and saw the look on his face. It worried you to see him look so devoid of emotion. You looked away, not wanting to start any more problems and focused on the next students beginning their match.
You couldn't help but let out a gasp, you were amazed at the brute strength this Shoto Todoroki had. He made the entire place freeze over, making sure his partner was safe outside. The sheer amount of power had you taken a back. You could feel the cold all the way from the room you were all in, and it caused your body temp to drop instantly, the temp regulating it out.
"Wow.." You whisper out, still somehow standing next to Bakugou even though the  class moved closer to the screen.
"This guy is insane." You finished, noticing the others, even AllMight shivering in front of you. This guy was one of four to get in on recommendation alone.
‘Incredible.’ You thought.
The rest of the matches seems to go by just as fast, you realized a lot of classmates had powerful and useful quirks, but your mind was still on the 3 boys who, in your opinion, out shined them all.
You cheered on Kirishima and Sero as they fought bravely. Even Mina as she burned holes into the flashy kids cape. You couldn't remember his name.
It was finally all over, and AllMight congratulated you all.
"We had no major injuries, accept for young Midoriya. You should be proud, that was excellent training from you all."
He took his exit as said he was going to check on Izuku, rushing away and leaving the students buzzing with excitement. You all returned to change out of your hero outfits, and went back to class to collect your stuff for the next class.
"(y/n) you were badass! I wish my quirk was flashy like yours!"
"Thanks Eijirio!" You slapped his arm playfully, "You're quirk is pretty good too. I wish I had it! I could fall and not get hurt? Yes please!"
You all settled down as the next part of your afternoon classes began, your thoughts circling back to how Izuku was fairing. To be honest you weren't sure if you'd be allowed to go see him if he still wasn't back by the end of the day, but you decided it's fine. You were partners after all.
Before you could go once classes had ended. Eijiro, along with Sero, Kaminari, and Mina kept you behind to chat. You figured a few minutes wouldn't hurt so you let yourself go in the laughter and happiness that swirled around you. Your head snapped towards the door once you heard it open, Kirishima beating you to the punch of saying hi.
"Hey it's Midoriya! Good to see you! I don't know what you were saying during that match but you were all fired up huh!"
"I can't believe you held your own against Bakugou!" Sero pitched in, "He's super strong!"
"Glad to see you still in one piece partner!" You grinned at his overwhelmed expression as he started rubbing the back of his head with his uninjured hand. The other being in a cast and sling.
"You really went all out didn't you." You hummed while poking the sling, grinning up at him. "We made a badass team yanno, you were pretty good too I guess." He laughed, nodding in agreement,
"We sure did, we won thanks to you."
You saw his cheeks heat up in embarrassment as others, including yourself, told him he played a big part in that win. Everyone introduced themselves to him and you could see his eyes swirl with so much going on. You ll stopped to watch Iida go berserk over another student putting his feet on his desk, and failing to get him to listen.
Denki also walked in at that moment, along with Ochaco, holding books for the class. She blushed slightly, before excusing herself and running over to join the group. Izuku brushed her off in a nice way, letting her know he's fine and there's no need for any worrying. he glanced behind you, then looked at you in the eyes,
"Hery uh (y/n)? Where's Kaachan?"
"Oh Bakugou? He just left. We tried to make him stay but he really wanted to go." You saw Izuku run out at that very moment, and knew something was going to happen. You wanted to go and be there in support but you knew better than to get involved.
You went to glance out the windows with other students, seeing Bakugou shouting at Izuku. You couldn't tell what was being said, but you saw that Bakugou was in a lot of pain. Maybe he's realizing that he can't win every battle? Who knows, so you ignored it, and shrugged along with everyone else. Packing the books that were brought in and making sure you had all of your other materials before leaving with your newly made group of friends. You saw that AllMight had dragged Midoriya away, you wondered why they always seemed so close. That was really suspicious and you felt uneasy. Was he somehow related to AllMight? They have similar enough quirks, and AllMight, while he tries to hide it, obviously cares about Izuku.
With that on your mind you waved your friends off once you parted ways at the station, you began to head home. Once there, you did whatever homework you had, mind still reeling on the secret around those two. You made dinner, and left it in the fridge for your father, it seems he was going to be late tonight. You readied yourself for bed. Staring at the ceiling, now thinking about just more than the Number One Hero and his fanboy. You thought back to Bakugou and his face after he lost, and that Todoroki kid with his half-and-half quirk. It was amazing to be surrounded by so many talented people, you really weren't expecting it.
Honestly, you didn't even know what to expect when you first started. It was only the second day and you felt exhausted by all the people, by all the work. But that wasn't going to stop you from reaching your goals. You aim to be as great of a hero as your father, maybe even better. Your goal is to show him you can one day care for him and others, just like he does for everyone around him.
Damn anyone to hell if they were going to get in your way.

I'm a bit curious about the change in He Tian's attitude towards Mo in some earlier 2016 moments. He looked like he was playing around with Mo and even taunt him then, but the kiss came out of nowhere, and he is now having a crush on the boy. What do you think that makes him interested in Mo in the first place, and at which point did he start taking their friendship seriously, and started loving Mo?
Hey there, anon!
That’s a fabulous question actually. At some point, I also wondered what it was that made He Tian interested in Momo to begin with, or when this transition actually happened, and I was addling my head a lot over it, lol. I can only speculate here, but nonetheless here goes.
First of all, let’s take a look at how OX initially presented He Tian. We saw a wealthy, privileged and somewhat snobbish boy, who enjoyed top grades and enduring popularity among other students. Hell, even the teachers were fond of him, while girls flocked around He Tian every break. Whatever he said or mentioned was being met with giggles and bashful sighs. You get the picture.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Unfortunately, it’s all but a pretty wrapping. In reality, none of those people knows who He Tian really is. We as readers know that in fact, He Tian suffers from profound loneliness. We know that despite all that money, he barely has any noteworthy personal possessions. That he still experiences the aftershocks of childhood traumas. That his relationships with his family are deeply fractured. People who surround He Tian on a daily basis could be described as sycophants. Their adoration towards him is pretty shallow. They are so crazy about him why exactly? Because he’s handsome, rich, popular, etc. Not saying that it’s a bad reason to like someone, but it’s not particularly meaningful either.
Anyway, this leads me to my main point. He Tian is used to that sort of shallow attention and plays along with it for his own reasons. He’s used to people nearly applauding him for whatever he does. He’s used to people wanting to be near him. If we think back to his childhood, we’ll see that instead of a mother he had been (apparently) surrounded by maids (?), who were hired to care for him (and that’s apparently why he’s so bad at house chores, haha).
Tumblr media
Case and point: he’s used to being in the center of attention and having people bend over to his whims.
And then… cue Mo Guan Shan, who gives zero fucks about He Tian. Who gives zero fucks about his popularity or his money, who has the balls to tell him to bugger off in the rudest ways possible. Momo doesn’t dance to his tune, and that’s something new to He Tian, something he hadn’t experienced before.
So… Momo comes off as belligerent, dirty-mouthed school bully who is contemptuous towards those rich and powerful (he has reasons for that, but still Momo’s view is tinted through his own childhood experiences). There’s raw honesty in Mo Guan Shan and that initially fascinates He Tian. Let’s admit it: He Tian comes off as being bored or somewhat indifferent towards life. The fact that there’s one person who doesn’t bow and kowtow before him is refreshing. That’s probably one of the reasons why He Tian hires Mo to cook and clean for him in the first place. He’s bored and Mo is the cure to his boredom. A cure that runs his mouth, threatens to knock his teeth out and outright calls him fake and dangerous, haha.
If I were to give a Tvtrope to this one, it would be “I love you because I can’t control you”. He Tian cannot approach MGS normally, like how he would have approached anyone else. Friendly attitude doesn’t work with him. Momo truly reminds me of a stray dog that is used to people treating it so badly that it would bite the hand that tried to pet it. There’s also a matter of MGS being very prideful. That raw honesty of his doesn’t fade away even when He Tian gives him beatings or pays him to do house chores. Sure, he takes the money but he never sugarcoats his attitude, never hides his distaste for He Tian and people like him. He makes it clear that he HATES every second of being near HT or in his apartment, yet he manages to put it aside when needed.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Anyway, I digress. I believe that fascination on He Tian’s part had been rather instantaneous. It may have very well happened during the fight between XiXi and MGS. Momo has shown that he didn’t follow any rules, and literally had a savagely pragmatic side to him (when he used a stone to hit XiXi). That was probably the moment when HT’s curiosity was aroused. He’s not used to seeing people like that.
The kiss scene is also very telling. From the easiness with which He Tian invades personal bubbles of the others, we can surmise that he thinks it’s no big deal, and if it’s no big deal to him, he literally thinks it’s the same way for everyone else. As I mentioned before, he’s used to people being willing to “give in” to him, hence he seems to have a mindset that he can take whatever he wants (like a spoiled brat, haha) and that nobody ever would mind — precisely because they are willing to begin with. This fails with MGS. Not only he reacts violently, he begins crying. That’s absolutely not the kind of reaction He Tian was expecting; you can blatantly see it written all over his face. He even asks Momo if he finds HT disgusting.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I believe that’s when He Tian actually felt a pang of guilt for his doings. The way Mo Guan Shan reacted is extremely human and understandable. Someone he DESPISED came up and forcefully pushed their tongue into his mouth, forced him into a kiss that is by all means just another taunt or a joke, not to mention that by the looks of it, it was his first kiss — something that in many cultures is considered to be nearly sacred. And He Tian probably for the first time in his life experienced a rejection. He wanted someone who didn’t want him, and there’s nothing his cool reputation or money could do about it. He also realized that he disgusted somebody — also something new to him. The novelty of it all, the unexpected guilt — these are the new feelings in his otherwise stale daily life. Mo Guan Shan made him experience something dramatically different.
Another point is that there are rather obvious parallels drawn between Momo and that puppy He Tian used to care for. He saved that puppy from a violent mountain torrent and nursed it back to health, just like he saved Mo from She Li and the angry mob later. He Tian’s failure to protect that puppy from “death” (like He Cheng made him believe) is one of the unresolved issues of his past, which he tries to rectify (or I should rather say, prevent from repeating itself) with Mo Guan Shan. Subconsciously he might be projecting that dog onto Mo Guan Shan, although he seems to be very much aware of his own associations, as he calls Momo his puppy.
Tumblr media
During the time He Tian spends taunting and forcing Mo to do stuff, he learns things that make him admire Mo. Like Mo’s refusal to sugarcoat his attitude, the fact that he’s shouldering a heavy financial burden, that he’s actually extremely hardworking, that he has pride and doesn’t entertain shallow ideas of being someone’s monkey on a display even for a princely reward. He Tian discovers traits that he likes. He Tian discovers that under that hard-shell hides someone very honest and raw.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lastly, if you think about it, Momo and He Tian are somewhat very similar: both of them have been marked by isolation. Mo has been ostracized because of his father’s imprisonment, and grew up being mistreated by likes of She Li and possibly looked down on due to his poverty. He’s withdrawn into a shell out of fear of being hurt, and he the way he views others is marked by suspicion and trust issues. He’s used to people acting nasty to him and, as sad as it sounds, to Mo this is a normal occurrence. What’s abnormal and suspicious is when somebody pulls a random act of kindness on him. And that’s what makes him think “why? what’s their agenda? what’s the catch?”. He Tian, on the other hand, is isolated because of his money and family influence. People who surround him are sycophants, those fangirls and fanboys, whereas in reality not only they don’t care for who he is, they probably wouldn’t even believe if he admitted to being a broken bird. Cause that’s unfathomable, right? Someone who has been born with a silver spoon in their mouth cannot be unhappy or hurting or alone. On top of that, he also has experienced his trust shattered, by his older brother, no less. He feels betrayed. He Tian is just as lonely — if not more — as Momo. So I guess that makes them — two coyotes from the same hill? Or how that Chinese “two peas in the pod/birds of a feather flock together” saying goes, haha. But even still, Momo has something that He Tian never had: someone to love and fight for (Mo’s mom), a home where he’s cherished. I think on subconscious level He Tian craves that, and Momo enables him to vicariously live that life he never had. Does it even make sense? xD
At which point He Tian’s playing around grew into something more serious? I think the kiss episode was akin to a bucket of cold water doused over He Tian’s head that made him reconsider some of his ways. What really triggered his desire to help MGS was probably the plot devised by She Li and the consequent fight. It may have made him suspect that MGS with his financial issues is far more vulnerable to shady vultures than he initially thought and that MGS is walking on an edge here. A little push to the wrong side and he would end up in deep shit. It’s after that fight that He Tian realizes how much Momo is shouldering by himself, and it’s then when we see him try helping him, like getting him a part-time job in that photography studio. Incidentally, it’s also when he’s started to find out Momo’s other sides. Like him being industrious, or unwilling to entertain an idle crowd of onlookers, etc.
Undoubtedly, He Tian’s feelings grew after the mob fight, where Momo got badly injured. We actually see him scared of losing MGS. Not to mention his consequent visit to his father — well they do say absence makes the heart grow fonder. It’s also clear to me that Momo’s display of care (during He Tian’s nightmare) had a big impact on HT. That’s when his violent tendencies of forcing Mo gradually fizzled out and became a lot more playful.
So all in all, He Tian probably started to gain feelings once he realized that Momo had his reasons to act like a delinquent, and that underneath it all there lay a person with integrity, who had been simply disenchanted by life and the circumstances that befell on his shoulders.
Whelp, that’s again a long-ass post. These are but my speculations and I don’t aspire for it to be 100% accurate, but I think I jammed in most of my ideas here.

So I just finished Chapter 97, which is where the Yuuei teachers get permission for the students to live at on-campus dorms. Gonna go to bed soon, and pick up tomorrow.
Opinions on things under the cut.
Arc Commentary:
Entrance Exam (1-4): The intro to Izuku was great, honestly? I love that it’s Quirkless Izuku, who doesn’t want to give up on his dream, who wants to save people, to meet All Might and gain One for All. Also, the intro the the universe is pretty cool?
Quirk Apprehension Test (5-10): In which I learned about Aizawa being a hardass, but a well meaning one. because honestly, I’m amazed Aizawa gave Izuku a chance to prove he could adapt to OfA so quickly. Any other kid who continuously hurt himself to use his Quirk should be considered a liability. Not that Izuku isn’t, but he clearly adapted quickly enough.
Battle Trial (8-11): That Izuku vs. Bakugo fight. So good. Also, Todoroki just... one-shotting the entire thing on his own looked so cool, even if it lack basically all of the teamwork heavily implied.
USJ (12-21): Shit gets real fast. And I love it. Also, badass Aizawa, the kids being awesome despite the unexpected attack, and some proof that Yuuei’s staff are actually really cool when they’re not... you know... stuck in a classroom teaching.
Sports Festival (22-44): Holy shit guys. Todoroki vs. Midoriya. That was the best about the entire arc. I watched that entire fight in GLORIOUS 1080p on my family’s flatscreen, and it did NOT disappoint. The animators deserve mad props for the animation in the climax of the fight. It’s just, so good when we do a side-by-side comparison to the manga (as in, so faithful. I am BLESSED). Also, where I learned that Endeavor is a bastard who needs to die in a ditch and stay away from his kids and wife.
Hero Killer (45-59): Stain is surprisingly intriguing, because the dude’s got charisma. And he’s proof that not all villains are in it for the Evulz. He’s more of an antivillain to me? I do feel like the various villains joining the League of Villains because they were inspired by him would piss him off though. The brOTP of Midoriya, Todoroki, and Iida was so good though? And Izuku learning how to use Full Cowl!
Final Exam (60-69): More teachers being badass! And students growing! Just, everything about Aizawa vs. Todoroki and Momo was amazing, from Aizawa being an unexpected softy (and still badass), to Todoroki being supportive of Momo when her self esteem becomes a problem, to Momo being awesome with her Quirk once she gets her confidence back. Also, Bakugo and Izuku against All Might. just... so good.
School Trip (70-83): Obligatory training camp arc! Only, you know, it all goes to hell in a handbasket. But the kids are surprisingly good at dealing with this shit as it pops up, although Izuku being reckless with himself is forever gonna be something I lament (maybe he internalized the idea that he was worth less than others because he lacked a Quirk? And he still thinks it subconsciously because 10 years worth of behavior cannot be replaced in like... 1 year?)
Hideout Raid (84-97): The kids going on a rescue mission, and not getting into a fight. All Might retiring because he fucked himself over for the good of others and to stop All for One. Bakugou being the obstinate shit we all knew he was. Aizawa being confident in Bakugou’s morals. Just... so good.
Favorite Characters (so far):
Momo: badass, smart, awesome quirk, and she’s just... so cute? idk i just love how she’s shown to be cool and awesome and still be anxious and insecure like any other 15 year old. Also, even though she has a fanservicey costume, it’s for a reason, and it WORKS.
Tsuyu: idek? i just really like her? So calm, so collected. Also, just so freaking deadpan. I just really appreciate her cool head in a crisis.
Todoroki: I mean, he uses fire and ice, is kind of a dork, deserves all the hugs (and for his dad to go die in a ditch). And he’s pretty. He matches many of the (very general) requirements for my Favorite Character Type (mentioned in these tags)
Izuku: my god. This fanboy who actually made it by working his ass off. This guy who cares so damn much. I want to adopt him (you know, if his mom weren’t as awesome as she was, and my being a little under a decade older than him). Badass Adorable for sure. Those freckles... so cute! (also meets one of the Favorite Character Requirements in these tags)
All Might: More like Dad Might, honestly. because that’s who I really like. Not the super muscle-bound, #1 hero, but the scrawny, sickly guy who cares so damn much for his kids. He’s adopted all of them, is2g.
Aizawa: BADASS. I screech every time he gets serious because honestly, the guy has a Quirk that is really not useful for fighting multiple opponents? But he does anyway? And is AWESOME AT IT? Also, he cares so damn much for his students despite his hardass exterior. Basically, I’m saying Dadzawa. But like, the stern, tough love Dad instead of doting Dad.
Other Interesting Characters (so far):
In all honesty, most of Class 1-A??? They’re all such good kids (except Mineta).
Tenya: socially awkward nerd boy is my jam, because I can relate. But mostly it’s because he’s adorkable.
Tokoyami: Dark Shadow is amazing, and I like birds.
Bakugou: Okay, I gotta admit, his personality was not my favorite in the beginning. In fact, I wanted to just punch him in the face. But you know what? I love the fact that I get why he’s that way. I love that it’s because he’s set himself to this unreachable standard, that his issues are mostly due to his own pride and the things in his head, and not a hugely traumatic event. because there are people just like Bakugou out there, and it’s so relatable. And I actually kind of like how the narrative is forcing him to confront his issues. Because despite being good with his Quirk and at fighting villains, he’s still ending up in jam after jam, and the reasons always have nothing to do with what he perceives as a weakness. And while I would love to see someone call him out for the shitty things he’s done to Izuku, I feel like with the way the story is going, it isn’t the appropriate time for that yet. Basically, the kid’s a relatable asshole and his slow character development is realistic and just very good evidence that the universe thinks he can be better if he’s willing to try. I’m still not exactly fond of him, but I could get there if we see more character development (and an actual apology for his shitty behavior towards Izuku).
Ochako: I love her motivation for being a hero. Because being a hero doesn’t mean you can’t also make sure that the ones you love are safe and comfortable first. Heroes are still human after all.
Shinsou: this boy. someone replace Mineta with this boy. Tiny Purple Pervert for Awesome Purple Walking-Imperio. His Quirk is really cool, and would be hella useful, but the goddamn Yuuei entrance exam basically fucked him over. Plus, you know, a non-front line/offensive Quirk belonging to a decent person just seems more attractive to me than a Quirk that while useful, belongs to a boy with a pervert streak so odious that I’m surprised no one’s hurled him into the sun.
Not So Cool Characters:
ENDEAVOR: This man. This Man. THIS MAN can go rot in the deepest, darkest corner of Marianas Trench. I NEED to know how the hell no one took ONE GOOD LOOK AT TODOROKI and ask about the burn. I need to know how the hell the “#2 Hero” can get away this something this disgusting. The worst part? All the shit he’s done to his family, from abusing Todoroki to putting his wife into a mental hospital due to his abuse, was for nothing, because he DIDN’T beat All Might. All Might RETIRED.
Mineta: How did this little pervert make into the Heroics course? Better yet, how has he not been expelled for his sexual harassment of his female classmates???? Like, he's groped Tsuyu, “convinced” the girls to wear skimpy cheerleading uniforms, has tried to peek on them twice... Just, I am so offended that he gets to stick around and not be punished for his very un-heroic actions.
Monoma: Dude... just SHUT UP about 1-A being more well known than 1-B. I get the inferiority complex and the jealousy, but rubbing every perceived failure of 1-A’s in their faces is hardly heroic.
Other thoughts:
So, I blame tvtrope’s fanfic rec list for making me dive into BNHA fanfic hell, but I just kind of love the chatfic(/crackfics) that have been popping up. And anything that roasts Endeavor.
Also, TodoDeku. I’m so down for TodoDeku, honestly??? It probably won’t be canon, and I can see setup for TodoMomo and IzuOcha, which I’ll be okay with, but TODODEKU is my OTP.

My Hero Academia Main 3 Boys x Reader
Ch. 4 The Fight of U.S.J Part 1
Ch.1 Ch.2 Ch.3
Chapter 4 is here! Thanks to everyone who was waiting, School is getting a bit busy, and I couldn’t help myself and made a prompt list! I just love to write, I wish I had more time to do it haha, so that’s why this is a bit short! If you didn’t see, @decaffeinatedtealover drew (y/n) and I’m in love ahhhh<3 Check it out because it made my entire day! I love seeing fanart, I never would have thought I’d get anything so I’m over the moon(: Thank youuuuu
Tumblr media
*-*-*-*-*-*-
“Hello everyone! I’ve been waiting for you!” Everyone was in shock at another Pro Hero in the flesh.
“The Space Hero: Thirteen!” You grinned at Izuku as he spoke up, fangirling yourself just as much he was.
“She’s so cool!” You said, sparkles in your eyes. You have heard about her time and time again, she’s rescued so many people and has saved so many lives. You really wanted to be the same type of hero she was, always helping others and always protecting them!
Thirteen lead you all inside the large building, letting you all look around from the high point where you stood. It really was something else. The large indoor area was split off into multiple parts, you assumed all serving as a different purpose for training. Thirteen confirmed your thoughts as she listed off each area.
“There’s a shipwreck zone, a landslide, a fire, a windstorm, and many more! I created this training facility to help you learn what to do in different types of disaster! I call it, the Unforeseen Simulation Joint! USJ for short.”
Aizawa walked closer to Thirteen and asked something about AllMight, and even though it was hard to hear them as they whispered you did see Thirteen raise three fingers.
“I wonder what happened to AllMight.” You wondered out loud, looking at Izuku.
“I don’t know, hopefully nothing bad.” You hummed in agreement but didn’t think the number 1 Hero was hurt.
“Let’s hurry up and begin.” Your teacher sighed, his usual grim demeanor not changing at all.
"Of course, before we begin I want to say something. Well, maybe two somethings. Or three..? Anyways, listen up. I'm sure most of you know I have a powerful quirk called black hole. For those who don't know, I can use it to suck things up and turn that into dust."
"Yea, you've used it to save so many people in all kinds of disasters before!" Izuku yelled out, a dopey smile etched into his face, he looked like he was on cloud 9.
"That's right, but don't forget, my quirk can also be used to kill."  A dour  hush fell among all of the students.
"Many of you may also have powers that can be dangerous. In our society, we have to follow the rules to make sure all quirks are strictly regulated and certified when heroes go around helping civilians and fighting villains, it's often easy to forget how unsafe they can actually be."
"So it's important to remember if you lose focus, or make the wrong move, those powers you're using trying to protect someone, could be deadly. Thanks to the fitness test Aizawa made you take, you have a better understanding on your quirks potential. Especially with AllMight's combat training, I'm sure you learned how dangerous it can be."
"Carry those lessons over with you when you take this class, because today. You will learn to use your quirks to save lives! After all, isn't that what a hero is all about? Ensuring the safety of others. Thanks for listening guys, let's get to work!"
You clapped along with everyone else, really moved by Thirteen's speech. It was an important wake up call, that while you are strong, you'll have to be strong and smart enough to make sure you can protect and everyone around you!
“Right, now that that’s over let’s-” Aizawa’s next instruction was cut off when the lights that circled all the way around the building shut off. Leaving the area covered in darkness, save for whatever sunlight was streaming through the windows.
You didn’t know if this was how it was supposed to go down, seeing Mr. Aizawa was looking surprised. You heard a weird sound, and noticed the water fountain down in the center of the training facility was sputtering, something black coming from it and shining through. The black fog, is what it looked like, was growing larger until it exploded, taking an almost human form.
“Stay together and don’t move!” Aizawa yelled out, and you knew this wasn’t apart of any training.
You shared a worried glance with Kirishima, before looking back towards the portal-like being. A hand came out of it and your heartbeat picked up speed in nerves.
“Thirteen protect the students!”
“Was is that thing?” Kirishima gasped out as a figure attached to the hand you saw walked out. Many others following him out, tons of people, making you heavily outnumbered.
“Has the training started already? Weren't we just rescuing people?” Eijiro continued.
“Eijiro I don’t think this is apart of the training-” You gulped, your throat feeling very dry as you spoke up, but were cut off by your teachers shouting.
“STAY BACK!” You all flinched at how sharp his words were, while he was never the kindest, he was never harsh. Just tired and annoyed all the time, you’ve never heard this tone before.
You felt even more nervous when you saw Aizawa put his goggles on. What was going on, was this real? Could this many people really break into a U.A. area so easily?
"This is real. Those are villains." Aizawa said, and feeling as if he read your mind. You could only watch as more and more people piled out of the black smoke.
"So you scumbags used the press as coverage, a way to sneak onto campus." Aizawa grunted, you saw his hands twitching, most likely trying to think of a plan.
You felt shaken to your very core, you're entire life you've been surrounded by Pro Hero activity and not once did you deal with villains this close.
"Where is he!?" A voice echoed throughout.
You tried to calm yourself down, steeling your resolve. A panic attack or being frozen in shock wouldn’t help you in this mess. You needed to be level-headed, ready to make a quick and precise decision when the time came.
“What would dad do?” You thought to yourself. Clenching your fist, you were trying to think of a plan, some type of action, anything.
"How could so many villains get into a U.A. facility?" Eijiro asked, looking hard down on where they all stood next to each other.
"Yea Thirteen, why aren't the alarms going off?" Your head snapped to Momo. They couldn't have been that smart.
"Don't tell me.." You whispered, "they knew what they wanted was here so they learned how to bypass the security system?" Thirteen stared straight ahead at the villains.
"Not sure, that's a good guess."
"If that's the case," Todoroki's voice cut through the air," is this their only target? Or is the entire school under attack too?"
You looked back and made eye contact with him, both staring at one another believing that it would give you some answers.
"Either way, if the alarms aren't sounding off.."
"They must have someone who has a quirk to mask their presence here." He finished for you. You nodded in agreement, looking back to the ever growing ranks of the evildoers below.
"Whatever it is they're planning, they must think they can win." Todoroki continued.
"A concrete objective, they must've known a class was going to be here at this time, otherwise why base it all on chance." You finish his sentence this time, now trying to think of what exactly they could be after.
"Thirteen get them out of here, and alert main campus. If they have a way to block the sensors, they may have blocked our communications systems too. Kaminari," Aizawa continued, " Try to use your quirk to contact the school."
"Yes sir!" Denki replied, going straight to work trying to radio someone with his headpiece.
"What are you going to do!" Izuku shouted at Aizawa, fear burning in his eyes. It was always there, even on normal days, but this fear seemed to be more, running just as deep as yours.
"You can't fight too many on your own, no matter how strong your quirk is, it isn't suited for this type of combat! You're better at stealth and on-on-one, this is neither!"
Your teacher glanced back, his resolve hard and your eyes widened again.
"You can't be a pro if you only have one trick. I'll leave it to you Thirteen." Then he took off, you could only watch in amazement and worry as your teacher, who was being a bad ass as he began to fend off the villains.
‘Like a real Pro.’
You quickly snapped out of your thoughts when the others started to run towards the exit from Thirteen's signal. You looked over your shoulder and say Izuku staring down at Aizawa fight.
"Izuku this isn't the best time to fanboy, let's go now."
"OH right!" He said while running with you to catch up with the other students.
Before being able to reach the doors, the dark swirling aura formed on the ground, springing up into the air and taking shape. It's, what you could only assume to be, eyes stared at you all, thundering voice shaking you to the core.
"There is no escape for you."
You took a defensive stance, your heart rate spiking once more. The shadow figure was huge, making you crane your neck up almost painfully to see the area of what could be his face. His eyes were slanted and growing brightly, contrasting with his body.
"It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. We are the League of Villains. This may be impolite, but we took it upon ourselves to come without your invitation, to say hello."
"Besides," You heard it chuckle, such an evil sounding one at that, "Wouldn't this be a fitting place for AllMight, your Symbol of Peace, to take his final breath?"
You gasped.
"He was supposed to be here today was he not? And yet I see no sign of him. I'm sure there was a change of plans that we have not foreseen. Oh well, I suppose it doesn't matter."
He spread his arms out wide, and you kept your guard up.
‘Was he going for an attack? Why do these guys want AllMight? What’s the goal?’ Your head was swirling from all the uncertainties.
But you knew one thing for certain, you couldn't hesitate. You couldn't stop just because you were afraid. You're friends and classmates were here with you, and you weren't going up against any simulation. It was all real. They could be hurt, you could be hurt. You can't rely on anyone else, even if you aren't the strongest, there was no excuse for not giving it your all to protect everyone. Like you're father always told you,
“A hero never believes in excuses.”
You charged up and sprinted forward, willing the light in your hands to burn hot and take a solid shape at your fists, only to try to shoot off a hot blast at the villain as a way to not get too close. You briefly noticed Bakugou and Kirishima jumping along with you, before your vision filled with smoke from one of Bakugou's blasts
"Did you really think we were going to stand around and let you tear this place to shreds!" Kirishima yelled out, standing tall next to you both.
You grit your teeth, eyes searching for any sign of movement. Reeling back in shock as he began to appear with the dissipating smoke, cackling as he talked.
"You really live up to your schools reputation. But you should be more careful children. Otherwise someone might get hurt."
"You three get out of the way right now!" You heard Thirteen yell from behind, and when you looked at her you noticed the tip of her finger on her suit was opened.
"I'll scatter you across this facility to meet my comrades, and your deaths!"
A black fog blocked your vision, and you could only cover your eyes as it overtook everything. You grunted out, the only thing you were able to do was try to remain standing against the harsh whirlpools it was making.
"Crap, what is this!?" Eijiro yelled, and even though he was standing right next to you, he sounded miles away.
You felt the ground give way beneath you, and that's when you started to fall. A small yelp of pain escaped your lips as your back slammed against the ground. You winced, quickly taking in air through your clench teeth, trying to make the black spots in your vision disappear. When you could finally breathe again, you looked at your surroundings, noticing you were in some type of abandoned office room, in a beat up building.
You winced while sitting up, a dull pain shooting down your spine as you did so. You heard a groan from beside you and quickly looked over to the noise.
"Eijiro are you alright?" He landed just like you did, but thankfully he has his quirk activated, which must've helped preventing my damage from the fall.
"(y/n)? Shit are you okay?" He questioned, getting up and pulling you with him.
"Yeah I'm fine. Where are we-"  You heard someone coming up behind you and fast, so you dropped down in a crouch while kicking your leg out, allowing your quirk to propel your kick, despite how much your body ached from the sudden movement after your fall. You made a man tumble then crash to the ground face first, which gave you enough time to back away with Kirishima.
"You two fuckers watch out!" A familiar voice yelled out, as you were bombarded on all sides by different villains alike.
You and Kirishima went back to back as they circled you. Feeling another arm touch yours, you glance and saw Bakugou. You three formed a triangle, making sure to watch each others blind spots. You were so short compared to them, that your shoulders barley hit the top of their biceps.
You shot off a beam of light, making sure to keep it burning hot unlike how it was during your fight against Iida. You weren’t looking to hurt Iida during that battle so you made sure to turn the heat down. Using it more as a blinding method, unlike now, making sure to have it hurt.
You three fought hard, but if you were being honest, the villains weren't all that great at combat. These had to be low level thugs seeing as you were knocking them out in seconds flat. Your body temperature began to rise, but not to the point where you were being weakened.
Out of the corner of your eye, you saw a large man go to swing at Bakugou, even with his normally sharp reaction time it didn't look like he'd be able to dodge him, he had his hands full with 3 other people. You felt yourself move without thinking twice, taking a running jump and getting high above them.
"Bakugou duck!" He surprisingly did what you asked, throwing a quick look your way before ducking down and sending an explosion to the villains in his front.
You came down fast, punching the man in the face with your quirk activated, before twisting your body and using his as a way to propel off of him. He fell with a thud and you landed in a squat, immediately, jumping up to smash your fists into someone else's gut. You grunted out when you were hit from behind, and tumbled to the ground.
"You kids are nothing more than a nuisance, just stand still and let us kill you quickly." A blade lightly cut your cheek as you barley managed to roll out of the way in time.
"Shut the hell up, I'm going to be the one to fucking kill you! SAY GOODBYE" Bakugou roared, blasting into the guy who was towering above you, breaking the windows of the already broken training room. Giving you enough time to get back up and dodge someone else who came at you.
Their numbers were dwindling, and you saw while the three of you had minor cuts and scrapes, no large injuries were present. You grinned, wiping the blood off of your face while letting light travel up your arms.
"Let's finish this!"
One of the last people of the group came up to you, he was decked out in heavy armor and had a large sword. You dodged their efforts to swing it at you, noticing he was going pretty slow, swinging blindly as if he didn’t know how to use his weapon. You made your light sold around your hands and caught the weapon mid swing, making him grunt out in surprise.
“What the-”
You willed your hands to heat up, so hot that it began to melt the sword. Using this distraction as an advantage, you brought one hand back and knocked him backwards. He stumbled from you punch and was knocked to the ground when another body slammed into him, someone Kirishima had punched the same time you did.
You took in large amounts of air, trying to calm your raging heart and bring your body heat down some. You arms were smoking due to the temperature you had to use to melt the sword but you felt good, everyone else seemed to be knocked down or too hurt to get up, and you three were still standing. You saw the boys breathing hard as well, but grins on each of their faces. Well, a smirk in Bakugou’s case, but it had to count for something.
“That looks like the last of these guys, what a bunch of weaklings.”
“They were too weak, even with their large numbers. Did they really think they could take out AllMight?” You questioned, walking over to stand in between them.
“Who know, they were dumb asses.” Bakugou shrugged while looking at you.
You nodded in response, but still felt uneasy. There was no way that many people would’ve walked to their deaths if they didn’t have reassurance they could take down the number 1 hero.
“Well even so, let’s go and find the rest of our class.” Kirishima chimed in.
"If the three of us are still in the U.S.J, I'm sure everyone else is. And not all of them have the offensive skills we do. We have to make sure they're safe, especially since we screwed things up and gotten in the way earlier! If Thirteen would have just sucked up that villain, we never would have been separated!" He continued, eyes screwed shut in obviously guilt.
"Eijiro we made a choice and we should stick by it, whether it was a good one or not. A moment's hesitation can be the weakness needed to get killed." You placed a now cooled hand on his shoulder, trying to make sure he saw that what you three did wasn't in vain.
"We still owe it to them to go help!"
"You wanna take the time to track everyone down, have fun, but I'm going to go destroy that warpy bastard." Bakugou huffed, eyes set into a glare.
"Huh? But our physical attacks didn't hurt that guy, c'mon don't be an idiot man."
"SHUT UP! I'm going to take him down because he's their only way in and out, don't you get it? If we cut off the escape route they'll be forced to stay here and pay for all the shit they've done. We'll figure it out."
"Eijiro, I think I agree with Bakugou. Even if we don't know just yet how to take him down we have to give it a shot. Plus we don't have time to search this large area to find everyone, we have to have tru-UGH." You staggered as a white hot pain made your arm throb.
You twisted your body, bringing your other arm up and around, punching the chameleon-looking villain and slamming him back a bit. He was still standing, so you went to rush back at him. However, an arm draped across your chest, pushing you back before an explosion was released in their other palm. Immense heat making your hair fly back as Bakugou took the guy down for the count.
Bakugou's arm dropped from holding you, and he turned away from the body on the floor.
"Anyway, if all these villains are small fries like these guys were, then our classmates can handle them." He looked into your eyes before down at your arm.
It was an open cut, and it was bleeding.
"You okay? Geez, that reaction time was insane! Both of you." Kirishima held your arm as carefully as he could, panicking on what to do. You removed his hands gently.
"I'm good, let me close it up. I learned this trick a while back." You allowed heat to enter a single finger, bringing it up to the wound and started to cauterize it. You were biting your lip at the pain, the burning was worse than the actual cut itself. You missed the looks of admiration both boys gave you for it.
Slowly but surely you were able to use the heat to close your wound.
"It's going to scar but at least it won't bleed out. Thanks for the save Bakugou."
"Yeah whatever."
"Wait, since when does Bakugou act so calm and rational?" Kirishima muttered to himself, but you two still heard it.
"Usually you're the opposite, acting like uh.."
"DIE! DIE! DIE!" You finished for him mimicking Bakugou, laughing with Kirishima while doing so.
"I'M ALWAYS CALM AND RATIONAL SHITTY HAIR!"
"Yea just like that!" You smiled, he huffed at you while turning away.
"You can go find the others if you want shitty hair, we'll go find that warp bastard." Bakugou started to walk away, expecting you to follow. You were about to protest before Eijiro spoke out.
"Wait hold up, I think what you're really saying is you believe in our classmates, and that's thinking like a man Bakugou!" He slammed his fists together with a smirk, his hardening quirk activated.
Bakugou stared firmly at him, not agreeing but not disagreeing. You're glad Kirishima understood what he was trying to really say, even though his tough guy act wouldn't crumble. You had to trust your classmates to be okay, because you had to look at the bigger picture. You smiled at the boys, determination set in your gaze.
"Let's go kick some ass shall we?"
