Chapter Four
“What the hell?” Amelia hisses while practically slamming down her lunch tray. You looked up at her with feigned ignorance, your eyes cool as you took both her and Janet in. You’d once again attempted sitting at your new lunch table, the same dorky couple sharing it with you, amongst a few of their friends. Although the group briefly eyed you, they’d been ignoring you for the past few minutes. That is, until your friends showed up.
“What?” You asked before turning your attention back to your food.
“You know what.” Amelia insisted, staying on her feet with an irate look. You were shocked she even dared to come out here in no man’s land to talk to you for a second time. Janet, submissive as ever, stayed back, looking between you both with worried eyes, “Did you hit your head or something? Why are you suddenly so interested in Munson?”
Annoyance jaded your features. You settle your glaring eyes on Amelia, your voice just as accusatory as hers, “Why does it matter?”
She scoffed as if it was the most obvious thing in the word, “Because he’s a loser. What’s everyone gonna think if they keep seeing you two together? You already made a scene this morning, they’re already talking.”
You shrugged, far too nonchalantly for Amelia’s taste, as you spoke around a bite of food, which was actually your way of hiding the glee you felt knowing that people were already talking about you and Eddie, “Does it matter? Does any of this shit matter?”
“Of course it does.” Janet finally chimed in, her voice calm compared to Amelia, “You could get yourself in trouble hanging out with someone like him.”
You rolled your eyes before shooting her a condescending look, “When have I ever gotten in trouble for literally anything?”
“It’s bound to happen eventually.” Amelia countered, and you finally dropped your fork to look at them both, your frustration growing.
“If it bothers you so much,” You start, your tone cold and direct, as non-emotional and harsh as you could manage, “start hanging out with someone else. Start hanging around Duncan, for all I care. We have loads of other friends who I’m sure won’t do something as stupid as talking to a boy.”
Amelia rolled her eyes at the way you mocked them, familiar with the tone of voice you were using. She’s heard you use it at least half a dozen times before when you two had gotten into stupid arguments in the past.
“Look, whenever you’re done PMSing or whatever, you’ll see where we’re coming from.” With a finite look on her face, Amelia picked up her lunch tray again and headed off back to her familiar, comfortable lunch table. Janet gave you an apologetic look before scurrying off a moment later.
You should be upset. And, yes, a part of you was irritated by the conversation, and yet, a large smile spread across your face - you didn’t anticipate that you’d piss Amelia off so quickly and acutely. You two have fought a number of times before considering how easily your personalities could clash, but this felt like you actually accomplished something. Your plan was already working wonders, despite your continued doubts.
As you went back to your quiet lunch, you couldn’t help but watch your group of friends from afar, mostly in irritation, although you felt a mild pang of loss in your chest. They all looked so happy, so at ease with one another, and a part of you suddenly missed that feeling. But you knew you were just being nostalgic, because you wouldn’t feel any of those things if you sat with them - you wouldn’t feel happy or at ease, rather you’d feel annoyed and tense.
Yet you couldn’t help but that bit of sadness you felt at the sight of them.
Even Duncan, that asshole, looked cheery as he shared a laugh with the guys, clapping one of them on the shoulder. You couldn’t help but glower at the sight of him. Diverting your attention, your eyes began to scan the lunch room, wondering where exactly Eddie and his band of rejects sat. You’d never noticed before considering that it didn’t matter in the past, but it was probably a good idea to start keeping track of these types of things.
You eventually found the gaggle of geeks, watching as they excitedly conversed. The mean-spirited part of you made a judgmental face, assuming they were talking about D&D or the arcade or something else equally as nerdy. After a few moments of taking in the group as a whole, you found yourself studying Eddie’s face, taking in his ever-changing expression; he didn’t seem to notice you watching him, which gave you a better chance at observing him.
Eddie was always theatrical, you realized, always throwing his arms around as he spoke or raising his voice for particular emphasis. You found it strange just how big his communication style was, especially considering how tightly wound you always were. Where he had his exaggerated movements and his dramatic tones, you had your tight motions and controlled voice. Just thinking about how different he was dared to give you a headache, and you caught yourself wondering what the hell you’d be in for once you two moved your fake relationship along.
Eventually, Eddie seemed to sense eyes on him, because his gaze found yours curiously. You raised an eyebrow, unsure if he was able to see the movement from halfway across the cafeteria; when he made a face in return, you figured he noticed. He, too, raised both brows as if in question, nudging his head ever so slightly - it appeared that he was asking you to join him, but you couldn't be sure if that’s what he meant. Nonetheless, you shook your head at him, deciding that you were enjoying your quiet lunch and that you weren’t quite ready to put up with his group of loser friends for even five minutes. Regardless of whether or not you wanted to, you knew you’d get to that point eventually. Eddie gave a shrug of his shoulders, as if silently saying “suit yourself;” and although he turned his gaze back to his friends, you two continued stealing glances for the remainder of your lunch break.
﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌
Come Wednesday morning, Amelia wasn’t waiting for you at your locker. No one was except for Janet, who looked tense before she spotted you walking towards her. She tried to put on a brave face once you two met eyes.
You figured this meant Amelia wasn’t planning on talking to you anytime soon. Good. As for the rest of the group, it didn’t matter to you either way. Although, it was still surprising to see Janet here by herself - she must’ve been sent by Amelia.
As you approached, Janet gave you a sheepish wave. You couldn't help the familial smile you gave her - she was a much easier person to get along with than most others in your circle.
“How long before Amelia talks to me this time?” You jested with a mean quality to your voice.
Janet didn’t appear to be amused by it, though, as she responded, “She’ll hold out forever if she feels like it.”
You huffed out a laugh while opening your locker, “Good point. Maybe that’s not such a bad thing.”
You two were silent for a few long moments as Janet nibbled at her thumb nail and you moved belongings between your bag and your locker.
“What’s going on with you this week?” She finally asked, out of curiosity, rather than with judgment. Nonetheless, you shot her a look, to which she quickly waved her hands as if to calm down whatever bitchiness was about to stir up in you, “No no, I’m not trying to be mean. It’s just… you’ve been weird since school started.”
So, Janet noticed. You wondered if anyone else had. Maybe they’d all been ignoring it, but now that Eddie was in the mix they couldn’t keep that up anymore.
You shrugged as the pair of you began the trek through the halls to your respective classes, your answer noncommittal, “‘Weird,’ huh?”
Janet watched you as if she was waiting for you to elaborate, before sighing and asking, “Is there something going on? Like, something you need to talk about?”
You laughed without thinking, a mean and dismissive sound even to your own ears, “Yeah right.”
Hurt flashed across Janet’s face, her tone clearly different than it was a moment before, “Geez, sorry I asked.”
“Just stop worrying about it, alright?” You insisted with harshness, your eyes cold as you looked over at her.
With a resigned expression, Janet dropped her head and sighed, muttering as she walked away, “Yeah, whatever…”
It briefly struck you that maybe you didn’t have to be so bitchy all the time. But, then again, you didn’t really know how to be anything else.
Your day went on as usual from that point. You discussed a boring book in first period, you wasted time in second period, and once third period rolled around, a vague excitement struck you as you remembered that that was the one class you shared with Eddie. You should not have been excited at that thought, not in the slightest, and yet it added something interesting to your otherwise stupid and monotonous day.
When you entered the classroom, Eddie was already there, sitting at his usual desk in the back corner, looking bored despite class not even starting yet, drumming his pencil absently on his desk. As you approached and he spotted you out of the corner of his eye, he sat up a little in his seat, a nearly cute smile crossing his lips. Once you reached his side, the kid next to Eddie glanced up at you curiously, to which you made a face; meanwhile, Eddie just appeared surprised that you were the one to initiate conversation.
“Didn’t see you this morning.” You started simply, crossing your arms in front of you.
“I was late.” He shrugged lazily before giving you a conspiratory look, “What, were you waiting for me?”
You narrowed your eyes a little at his teasing, responding in a flat tone, “Oh, I was absolutely heartbroken.”
“Figured.” Eddie grinned widely, to which you responded with a subtle smile.
You turned away and went to your desk in the second row, surrounded by other students who were part of your usual circle of acquaintances. While waiting for class to start, you looked around the room, your gaze unintentionally drifting back towards Eddie. You studied him for a few moments before a decisive look graced your features and you abruptly stood back up. The movement caused a couple of people to glance your way, but otherwise no one cared.
You walked to the back of the room, turning your attention on the boy sitting next to Eddie, who awkwardly looked between you and his desk as if he were nervous under your gaze, as if he feared looking you in the eye.
“Move.” You say harshly. He looks at you in surprise and confusion, to which you raise a curved brow as if challenging him to defy you, “Move.”
You didn’t have to repeat yourself again. With a surprised scoff, he collected his things and migrated to the next available seat, which was sure to throw off the entire seating arrangement of the class for the day. As you plopped down at the desk next to Eddie’s, he laughed halfheartedly, his expression just as surprised as the other boy’s.
“Jesus, you are mean.” He states, although his eyes seem to show at least a hint of appreciation. You shrug, pulling your notebook and pencil from your bag.
“Well, I wanted to sit here.”
“Ever heard of the word ‘please?’” Eddie teased, shaking his head at you. You gave him a look out of the corner of your eye, refraining from talking back.
As the bell rang and the stragglers migrated in, people began to notice your change of seat. Some people looked at you strangely, others with disapproval, and the rest just didn't seem to notice or care at all. Hell, even your teacher had to pause and search for you during attendance, realizing you weren’t at your usual desk. Her vague hum of disapproval was enough to get a few students to shoot glances your way. As if in response, Eddie stretched his leg across the aisle to rest his foot on the metal basket beneath your seat.
Math class came and went, and as you walked out of the room, Eddie followed right alongside. As you led the way to your next class, Eddie playfully bumped your shoulder with his, which was starting to become a common thing between you two already, a quick way for him to break the rules you laid out for him.
You glanced up at him with a raised brow, “Yes?”
Eddie shrugged, looking falsely nonchalantly, causing you to narrow your eyes in confusion and perhaps mild annoyance. The playfulness wasn’t something you were accustomed to, nor did you think you ever would.
“You gonna sit with us at lunch?” He asked, to which you pulled a face, causing him to laugh without amusement, “I take it that’s a ‘no.’”
“I didn’t exactly factor your friends into this plan.”
Eddie looked nearly amused, but also perhaps a touch critical, “What did you factor in?”
You made a face, but he continued to simply look down at you with a slight grin. You sighed in response, chewing the inside of your cheek with thought.
“I guess we need to come up with some more rules.”
“Do I get to make some this time?” Eddie joked.
You rolled your eyes smally, “I’ll allow it.”
“Then I guess it’s a date.” You paused momentarily to look up at him with narrowed eyes.
“You still have to actually ask me out, that doesn’t count,” The pair of you reach your biology classroom, so you pause outside the door. “I’m expecting those flowers and balloons, you know.”
“I’m sure you are.” Eddie mocked, that damned grin still across his lips.
Students brushed past you to enter the classroom, and you briefly wondered if Duncan - who you shared this class with - was already here, if he had noticed the two of you. But you didn’t dare to look into the classroom, because just your luck he’d figure you were looking for him. But as that thought crossed your mind, you took a small step closer into Eddie’s personal space, putting on your best look of interest as you stared up at him. Eddie first appeared flustered and confused, but he quickly brushed it off as he seemed to slowly realize what you were doing.
“You’re not half bad at this, you know,” Eddie teased, his eyes shining as he said in a slightly lower voice, “If I didn’t know any better, I’d almost believe you liked me.”
Despite yourself, your cheeks warmed a little, but you hoped that it wasn’t obvious. Or maybe you did want it to be obvious. There was just something about Eddie’s tone that threw you off your rhythm, and you mentally kicked yourself for it.
“Don’t flatter yourself.” The flirty expression on your face juxtaposed your flat tone, and Eddie’s face looked almost wicked in response.
“No, that’s supposed to be your job.”
You had to pull your eyes away from Eddie’s - you had absolutely no interest in him, but this performative flirting was starting to mess with you a little. That’s something you’d have to work on as well, because you didn’t need this plan to confuse you one bit.
You didn’t realize how long the two of you had been standing in the hallway, as the ring of the fourth period bell nearly startled you. You found Eddie’s eyes again, giving him as cute a smile as you could muster.
“Go before you land yourself in detention.” You instructed; Eddie grinned widely while shaking his head.
“I practically run detention.” He, again, brushed his fingers along the small of your back as he moved past you, holding your eyes as you watched him go, “I’ll catch you later.”
You gave a small wave before dipping into the classroom, eyes roaming over everyone as you walked to your seat. You caught Duncan looking at you knowingly.
﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌
By Friday afternoon, Amelia was over your spat earlier in the week, insisting that you sit with them at lunch, to which you begrudgingly agreed after she kept pestering you. Well, maybe she wasn’t entirely over it - her snide little comments throughout the week made that abundantly clear. But, just as most teenagers do, she chose to pretend it didn’t happen and go on with life as usual. She ignored the little glances Eddie would shoot you in the hall, the little knowing looks you two shared, and you didn’t mention your new seat next to him in math class.
After classes ended for the day, you were amongst a group of students lingering in the parking lot, everyone discussing that night’s football game and other upcoming plans for the weekend. You actually managed to hold a half-decent conversation with a couple of the cheerleaders and a boy you once upon a time had a crush on back in freshman year; that never went beyond making out drunkenly a couple times at parties. Nearby, Duncan entertained a group with some story that probably wasn’t as interesting as everyone acted; he hadn’t acknowledged you this entire time, and had made it a point of ignoring you since Wednesday.
The group seemed to be in agreement that they’d all go out after the football game, and of course it was presumed that meant everyone, including you. You avoided saying anything on the subject so you wouldn’t be held accountable for it later.
At some point in your conversation, your former crush made a puzzled face at something past your shoulder. You mirrored his expression curiously, looking behind you to see what caught his attention.
Eddie was approaching the group. You had to give him credit, it was ballsy to come up to a dozen popular kids as the guy who was almost universally hated in this school. In that moment, you appreciated Eddie’s confidence and lack of fear.
You decided you’d rather spare yourself the headache of everyone ganging up on Eddie, so stealing a glance at the group, you slid off the hood of the car you sat on, walking away from them without another word. As you met him halfway, Eddie gave you a devilish grin, his eyes drifting from you to the crowd of kids just beyond your shoulder. You raised your brow challengingly at him, but managed a small half-smile at his presence.
You briefly wondered what they were all thinking, what they were all saying. You hoped it was nothing good at all.
“They sure look happy to see me.” Eddie commented, casually sliding his hands in his pockets with a lazy grin once you two came together.
Just like you’ve been working on, you stood closer to Eddie than you would have liked, giving a performance even as your back was turned to all of your friends and acquaintances. You needed to be convincing at all times, so you tried to think about all the little details that would suggest you were interested in Eddie, even if no one could see your face - leaning in as you spoke, twiddling your fingers, etc.
“So, are you asking me out now?” You tilted your head to one side as you asked in a matter-of-fact tone.
A small huff escaped Eddie’s nose, “You’re a real romantic, you know that, princess?”
“Aren’t I just?” You taunted, eyes narrowing.
Keeping his face cool, Eddie leaned forward so you were nearly eye level with one another, a smirk still resting on his lips as he responded in a prodding tone, “I’m going to ask you out now. If that’s alright with you, of course.”
You made a face at his mocking tone, but nodded nonetheless, staring at him impatiently. Eddie put on an extra charming smile for the audience inevitably watching your interaction as he stood back to his full height.
“Then in that case,” He paused to eye you up and down with an expression you’d never seen on his face before - if you didn’t know any better, you would’ve bought it, and you nearly flushed at that thought. Eddie projected his voice, not so loud that it was obvious, but just enough that some of your friends were certain to hear him, “So, what do you say? Let me take you out tonight, anywhere you want.”
“Tonight?” You asked with actual surprise while Eddie smiled at you with a charming look on his face.
“Unless you have something better going on.” Eddie taunted while stealing a glance at the group behind you, his expression growing almost too cocky considering that you both knew that you couldn’t say “no.”
You were certain the group was watching your conversation unabashedly, if Eddie’s attentive eyes were anything to go on. You traced your tongue along your lower lip as you drew out the moment just as Eddie had done to you before. When it seemed that you were taking too long, his gaze flicked back down to you.
“I really hope you don’t have something better going on.” He added as if he were getting nervous, as if this was real and the feeling of rejection was creeping up on him. You raised your brows tauntingly, your expression a little mean, and Eddie realized you did this on purpose. He just had to refrain from letting his impatience show on his face.
You finally show him mercy, adding a flirty smile despite the fact that your friends still couldn’t see your face, “Anywhere I want, huh?”
You could practically feel the impatient exhale that escaped Eddie, his eyes showing the slightest bit of annoyance at you. But he kept that charming grin in place.
“Anywhere.”
“Then it’s a date.” Your tone is a little brighter as you try to convey excitement.
You turn back in the direction of the group so that you could walk to your car, Eddie coming up alongside you. Your stride is confident despite all eyes on you, and you can see some of them whispering to one another. As you breeze past with Eddie beside you, you see Duncan shaking his head in disbelief, while another friend makes a harsh comment about Eddie.
“Pick me up at 7,” You start to instruct, letting your cool eyes look over the crowd of popular kids, “figure out if any good movies are showing, I’m craving popcorn.”
Once you two reach your car, you lean your rear back against the driver door while looking up at Eddie who now had his back to the group. You almost enjoyed the reversal, as you were able to catch every small glance sent your way by Amelia, Janet, and everyone else; now you could see just how harshly everyone had been staring at you before.
You whispered, forcing Eddie to stand a little closer, “We’re not actually going out tonight, I have something going on.”
“Damn,” Eddie teased with a false grin, “you got my hopes up.”
“But we do need to make plans soon,” You continue, ignoring his sarcasm, “We have to figure out how this is going to work.”
“And it’d be nice if your fake boyfriend actually knew anything about you.” Eddie added, to which you made a face despite knowing he had a point. A curious look crossed his face, as if what you said about having plans just a moment ago was finally setting in, “So… what do you have going on tonight?”
“Not telling.” You answer simply as you give him a wicked grin. Your eyes trail back to the group of your former friends for a split second, and in an impulsive act of defiance, you lean up to kiss Eddie on the cheek, his barely-there stubble tickling your lips. You pulled back with a flirty look, desperately fighting the impulse to make a face at the physical contact that you just initiated, “We’ll talk next week, Munson.”

"Suki! Please!" You begged again as you walked past a store full of your favorite anime characters.
"No." Katsuki harshly states and continues walking. You were on his last nerve today. You woke up in a bratty mood and was taking it out on Katsuki. This man only has so much patience he can give and you made sure to take up every ounce of it.
You were getting desperate. You couldn't help you were a collector and loved collecting anything cute. Especially when it came to your favorite anime(s). It also didn't help you lived in Japan which was full of all things anime. Katsuki always spoils you wether he likes to admit it or not, but in your mind, you really needed this. It was the cutest plush of your favorite anime character. Granted, Katsuki would argue you have too many plushies at home and he was not wrong, but that didn't change your mind as you tried to dig your heels into the ground.
"Daddy please!" You whine.
Katsuki turned to look at you.
"Nice try, but answer is still no, dumbass."
You pout and continue to protest to go into the store, but Katsuki's grip is firm and strong. That still didn't stop you from putting up a fight. One of the many characteristics Katsuki loved and hated about you. You are just as stubborn and persistent as he is.
Katsuki let go of your hand and turned around to face you. You could tell he is a ticking time bomb and you have pushed your limit with him today. You have dated the ashy-blonde long enough to not be scared, though. You're still his girlfriend no matter how much of a brat you can be.
"Tch. Y/N, I am really not in the mood to deal with your shit right now. You have to the count of three to act right or your ass will be sorry." Katsuki warns while clicking his tongue.
You cross your arms and huff as you stand your ground. You wanted your way and you planned on getting it no matter what.
"One."
You didn't budge.
"Two."
Okay, a little more concerning.
"Three."
Katsuki picked you up and put you over his shoulder. The crowded shopping center stared as you demanded your strong boyfriend to put you down. You have pissed him off many times in public, but never to this degree. You actually were a bit nervous as he carried you into the store you wanted and walked into the nearest dressing room.
Katsuki set you down to your feet once he locked the door. You didn't meet his fuming interrogating gaze in fear you would meet under the heat from his anger.
"You're really lucky I'm being nice and punishing you in a secluded area since you decided to put on a show out there." He states.
You knew what that meant as you watched your significant over sit in the chair. He patted his knee for you to come sit. You swallowed the lump in your throat as you slowly made your way over to Katsuki. You sat in his lap - otherwise known as your throne - and refused to meet his harsh gaze.
"What's the matter? You don't want to face the repercussions of your shitty actions, brat?"
"I'm sorry, daddy." You say, sincerely.
He chuckled scornfully before starting to pull down your pants and underwear.
"Yeah, I'm sure you are. Try to be quiet while I make this pretty ass of yours bruised, got it?"
You pout as he bends you over his lap. You should've known this was bound to happen. You just didn't expect him to do it in public. A quickie? Sure, but punishment? This wasn't like Katsuki. He always said if you were going to act like a brat in public he is going to punish you in public. He has never done it, but you usually don't act up this much in a day for him to do so. You really pushed your luck.
"Yes."
You wince as a hard slap hits your left ass cheek.
"Yes what?"
"Yes, daddy."
"Good girl. You do know how to listen."
You brace yourself as Katsuki follows through with the punishment. You did your best to be quiet, but Katsuki being who he is, he made sure you counted and thanked him for each slap. He even made you say it loud enough for people in the store to hear you. Also, Katsuki was not a gentle spanker. When he gives his punishment, he makes sure you remember it. This time was no different. It's only fair since you decided to embarrass him, right?
After 25 smacks, some using his quirk to make sure you have a friendly reminder, he helps you pull up your pants and panties. Your eyes were puffy from the small sobs and tears the flowed out during the process. You were about to walk out when Katsuki cleared his throat to grab your attention.
"Where do you think you're going?" Katsuki asked, leaning back in the seat, with his arms crossed and a raised eyebrow. If you weren't embarrassed and upset with him right now, you would be riding his dick at this exact moment.
"N-Nowhere." You stammered, trying so hard not to give him a snark remark.
"Damn right you're not. Your punishment isn't over."
You let out a sigh of frustration before walking back over to him.
"On your knees." Katsuki instructs.
"R-right here? Don't you think we will get caught?"
"Does it look like I give a fuck, princess?"
You couldn't argue with that logic. Katsuki was never one to care about others and their opinions. So, you do as your told. You were not in the mood to do what you were about to do, but you are the submissive after all. You're surprised and blessed that Katsuki only gave you 25 spankings. Especially since you have been on his bad side all day today.
"You know what to do."
You begin unbuttoning Katsuki's black skinny jeans and pull down his underwear to reveal his hard dick. Katsuki just stayed in the same position as before with a smirk as he watched you go to work. He enjoyed you taking all of cock in your mouth. He usually likes to participate in thrusting his dick down your throat, but considering all of the hell you put him through today, he was taking this time to relax.
Your tongue played with the tip of his thick cock before you slowly take in inch by inch into your mouth. At some point, Katsuki's hands found his way to your soft hair as he made some groans and moans. He could tell you were struggling to take in all of his dick and he liked that.
"Someone struggling to take all of my cock in their mouth, hm?” Katsuki coo’s as he ruffles your hair some.
You glared at him as you continue to do your task. He smirked some more.
“Want to say something?” Katsuki asked as he used some explosion with his hand for extra effect. That took the glare right off your face.
“Didn’t think so. I suggest you get more to work, princess. I’m not cumming anytime soon.”
You continue to suck his dick. You do your best to deep throat as much as possible. Especially to prove a point you did not need his help getting his huge shaft down your throat. Usually, he forces it down your throat so you did not need to work as hard, but this time was different. Katsuki is finding amusement out of this.
After about five more minutes of you bobbing your head, making choking noises, glossed eyes, runny nose, and puffed lips later, Katsuki finally climaxed. You swallowed his cum like a good girl and take his shaft out of your mouth.
“About time.”
You tried so hard to not roll your eyes so you closed them for a moment. Katsuki pats your head before he buttons his pants back up.
“Now. Let’s go get you that plush you’ve been begging me for, brat.”
You smile but it suddenly drops.
“What about my face? Everyone probably knows what happened.” You state with embarrassment.
“Oh, trust me. They know. Let them see what happens when brats disobey their daddies.” Katsuki smirks as he helps you up and out the dressing room. You trailed closely behind him, ignoring the stares and comments people were saying. Needless to say, you got your plushie and even an extra thing you wanted.
The overall thing you learned today was not to mess with daddy.

ATEEZ San- Confessions (oneshot)
Genre: Angst, fluff, suggestive, high school au, enemies to lovers au.
Pairing: San x Reader (fem)
Warnings: profanities, alcohol.

On a scale of one to ten, you'd rate your life at your prestigious boarding school a nine.
You loved KQ Academy: a boarding school for the rich, spoiled brats of the country. The teachers were highly experienced and the other staff were really nice. The cafeteria food was great and the vending machines always had your favorite drinks. The bathrooms were clean and the classrooms, laboratories, and other activity rooms were large and spacious. There were three different sports fields, a large swimming pool, and a large athletics field. The dormitories were also really comfortable and overall impressive. Basically, your school was lit.
So why did you rate your great life here a nine? Two words: Choi San.
San was the only person here who got on your nerves. Not only was he a rich, spoiled brat, but he was also the most popular guy at school and the captain of the volleyball team. His pretty face screamed of nothing but trouble... for you.
You don't understand why San doesn't like you; ever since he joined your school in ninth grade, you both never got along despite being in the same friend group. Your friends tried their best to make you both decently talk to each other, but they gave up eventually when it clearly wasn't working; you both always argued about the smallest, stupidest things.
"Should I get another piercing?" Hongjoong asked, opening his strawberry yogurt.
"Where?" Yunho questioned. "Please, not on your ear! Let the poor thing breathe!" You chuckled, glancing at the many piercings on your twin brother's ears.
"I swear Hongjoong hyung is a masochist," Yeosang stated, making Mingi and Wooyoung burst out laughing.
"And he likes exhibitionism," Seonghwa said. Hongjoong rolled his eyes, quietly eating his yogurt; he was used to everyone teasing him.
"Hey guys!" you heard Choi San greet before he took his usual seat beside Wooyoung. You glanced at him, immediately noticing his disheveled hair and swollen lips.
"Oh god, San, who was it now?" Eunhee, Hongjoong's girlfriend, questioned.
"Na Yuri," San said with a smirk. "She took me behind the auditorium. There were no cameras there." You heard Jiwoo mumble a 'not surprise' from beside you, making you chuckle.
"And you managed to get off in less than five minutes?" Wooyoung asked, raising an eyebrow.
San fake gasped in shock. "What! Wooyoung, you know I don't fuck these girls. I've only made out with them."
"What, really?" Jongho asked in surprise.
"Yeah, I haven't slept with anyone other than my ex, Jina," San said, taking a bite of Yeosang's ice cream sandwich, earning a glare from the boy. You were quite surprised at this new information; the entire school thought San fucked a new chick every week. You wondered why he never said anything about it despite all the false claims.
"Y/N," you heard someone call you, catching all your friends' attention. You saw Kim Yonghee approach you with the sweetest smile on his face. He handed you your notebook that you had given him two days ago. "Thank you so much. Your notes really helped."
"You aced your test?"
He smirked. "Of course." He opened his mouth to say something, but one of his friends called him for football practice. "Well, I'll see you in math," he said with a wink before walking away.
"Oh, someone's blushing!" Eunhee teased.
Yunho chuckled. "Wow, Y/N, I wonder what's got you all pink."
"Yonghee is so fucking cute! I kinda want to date him," you squealed, earning a scoff from an unamused San. Yeosang raised an eyebrow at San who only shrugged. "Do you have an issue, San?" you asked, annoyed by his reaction.
"No, why would I?"
"Well, your reaction doesn't seem like it."
"Why would I care about you and that piece of shit?" he spat, looking away.
"You don't even know him!" your voice was raising.
"Here we go again," Yeosang muttered under his breath.
San glared at you. "As if you know about the way he screws around with—"
"So what? I'd rather be with someone like him than with someone like you," you stated in a cold tone. San's face fell, but he immediately put his pokerface on.
Seonghwa sighed. "Can you two stop fighting for once?"
"It's his fault," you said, crossing your arms over your chest.
"No, it's yours," San retorted. "You could've ignored me."
You were about to say something, but the bell rang. You glared at San before dragging Wooyoung and Mingi with you to your next class.
Tumblr media
A month later, you ended up in an FWB relationship with Kim Yonghee. So far, things were going really well.
You were at Seonghwa and Hongjoong's dorm with everyone. You noticed how San has been really quiet and sulky these past few days. Despite always arguing with him, you felt worried for him. You wanted to ask him if he was all right, but you knew he'd just roll his eyes or make a sarcastic comment.
You nudged Yunho who was sitting beside you. "Is San all right?" you whispered in his ear.
Yunho shook his head. "No, he's not okay. I don't know what happened, and he said he doesn't want to talk about it." You nodded, but you felt like Yunho was lying to you.
"Y/N, how are things going on between you and Yonghee?" Mingi asked.
"Good," you answered with a smile. "He's an absolute gentleman."
"Yeah, I could tell from last night," Eunhee teased, making you choke on nothing in particular, wondering how she found out about you sneaking Yonghee into your suite style dorm. "You're not as sneaky as you think you are, Y/N."
San slammed his can of sprite on the table, startling a few of you. "Sorry, I'm a little tired," he mumbled. "Yunho, I'm going to our room. I'll see you all tomorrow." You noticed Wooyoung and Seonghwa share a glance before Seonghwa nodded.
"I'm heading back as well. Good night guys," Seonghwa said, quickly getting up and following San. There was clearly something up with San and you really wanted to find out.
-
While you were having lunch with your friends, Yonghee came to your table. He kissed you gently, earning an 'aww' from Eunhee and Jiwoo.
"Hey, hey, hey, no kissing in front of her older brother," Hongjoong said sternly. You rolled your eyes; he was only older by eight minutes.
"Sorry, man," Yonghee chuckled. "Here," he handed you a few sheets. "Seunghun told me to give this to you. It's his part of the assignment you both are working on. He said you can arrange it however you'd like."
"Ah, tell him I said thanks," you said.
"Will do, doll." he kissed your head before leaving.
San witnessed the entire scene and he lost his appetite. He pushed his food around with his spoon, feeling heartbroken.
"Step up your game, bro," Mingi said to San in a low tone so that the others couldn't hear.
"What do you mean?" San questioned.
Mingi rolled his eyes. "We all know you like Y/N. Don't give her up easily."
"Well, she likes Yonghee."
"They're only friends with benefits," Hongjoong said, joining the conversation. "They're just fooling around. I know it might seem like she has feelings for him, but trust me, she doesn't."
San bit his lip anxiously. "But she hates me."
Hongjoong rolled his eyes. "I know my sister well enough to say that she doesn't hate you, Sannie. In fact, she was really hurt 'cause she thinks you hate her. You both should really stop fighting and assuming shit."
"She doesn't hate me?" San asked in surprise.
"No, she doesn't, you idiot," Mingi muttered with a sigh. "Now step up your game, San, before someone else sweeps her off her feet."
Tumblr media
You were watching the volleyball team practice for an upcoming inter-school match. San and Yeosang were on the team, so your entire group was here as well, watching them practice 'cause there was nothing else to do.
You had to admit, San was a great captain. He was so sweet to them and hyped them up every time they did well. It was even more fascinating to watch him play. When the team decided to take a break, he approached you, taking his water bottle from where you were sitting.
You couldn't help but check him out in the team uniform. The blue tank top and shorts exposed the muscles on his arms and thighs. He titled his head back, pouring the water into his mouth. You watched his Adam's apple bob with every gulp, and the way a few drops of water rolled down his lips and chin. His jawline looked sharper, and you saw a bead of sweat travelling down the side of his face. San looked undeniably attractive, especially with his new eyebrow piercing and dyed black hair; he already looked so good with his previous brown hair, and now he looked irresistible.
"Y/N, I asked you something," San said, snapping you out of your thoughts.
"Oh, uh, I'm sorry, what were you saying?" you hoped he didn't notice you checking him out. San and you have surprisingly not had any fights recently, and he wasn't making any comments to piss you off either. You wondered why he suddenly changed his behavior towards you after years of getting on your nerves.
He smirked, pointing to his little red bag. "Could you open my bag and give me the green towel?" You did as he said, unkowingly blushing. San noticed everything, but he didn't say anything about it yet. He wiped the sweat off his face with the towel, suddenly leaning in close to your face. Your eyes darted between his eyes and his lips, and your heartbeat sped up. San reached behind you to take his bag, shoving the towel and his water bottle inside. You let out a breath you didn't know you were holding, mentally reminding yourself to get your shit together. You glanced at your friends, relieved that they were too busy talking to notice the little scene between you and San; you knew they would tease the shit out of you if they saw what happened.
"Y/N," Yeosang called out. "You're coming for the party tomorrow night, no?"
"Of course," you said, a little confused as to why he suddenly asked. "Jiwoo would kill me if I missed it."
Jiwoo turned her head at the mention of her name. "Damn right, I would," she said with a nod.
Yeosang smirked. "You're coming in my car."
-
"I have to sit on San's lap?!" you half-yelled at Yeosang.
"Yeah, Yunho is sitting in the front with the Pegasus glass figurine he got for Jiwoo. The painting I got is in the backseat, and our bags are in the trunk. So you don't have a choice."
You bit your lip. "Fine."
You waited outside the car until San and Yunho came from their dorm. You wondered why San wasn't surprised when you told him you had to sit on his lap, but you brushed it off, assuming Yeosang would've told him earlier.
San was dressed in all black: ripped jeans, a leather jacket and a black t-shirt underneath it. You sat on his lap, closing the car door. He looked irresistible and his Chanel perfume made him smell so good, you didn't know how you'd survive the half an hour long car ride to Jiwoo's mansion without him noticing you inhaling his scent like air.
San gently wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you closer to him so that you could sit comfortably. Yeosang started driving and you hoped time would go really fast.
Unfortunately, time seemed to be going really slow for you.
San pushed your hair to one side, making you lean back a little so that your back was pressed against his chest. "Sit comfortably, I don't bite," he whispered in your ear.
Yunho was talking about something, but you paid no attention. The only thing you could focus on was San's beautiful voice and laughs while you blankly stared out the window.
San noticed you weren't paying attention. He leaned forward a little, his lips coming in contact with the bare skin of your shoulder, making goosebumps arise on your skin. "Are you cold?" San teased when he saw the goosebumps on your bare thighs; you cursed yourself for wearing a short off-shoulder dress.
"Yeah, I am," you lied. San rubbed his palms together before placing them on your thighs. You gasped softly at his warm touch. He gently rubbed your thighs, trying to warm you up like as if he didn't know why you got goosebumps in the first place.
"We're here, guys," Yeosang announced, pulling up into Jiwoo's mansion that was lit up with a lot of LED lights.
You quickly got out of the car once Yeosang parked, running to hug Jiwoo.
"Happy eighteenth, Jiwoo!"
She chuckled. "Thank you, Y/N!"
"I can't wait to see you drunk!" you said with a giggle, excited that your friend could finally drink. She playfully rolled her eyes, dragging you inside to where half your school was while she told you which room you would be staying in. You were sure there were nearly two hundred people here, but you weren't surprised; Jiwoo's birthday parties were always like this.
"By the way, you're sharing a room with San tonight," Jiwoo said.
Your eyes widened. "What?! Why? Wasn't I supposed to be sleeping in your room?"
"Yeah," she said. "But, um... Yunho might be there and I don't think you'd want to witness us—"
"Okay, okay!" you half-yelled. "Why can't I sleep in Eunhee's room?"
"Ask Hongjoong if he's willing to switch with you," she chuckled and you groaned, knowing very well your twin brother would rather sleep next to his girlfriend than next to his friend.
But maybe he would agree? After all, he's quite protective of you and he wouldn't let you sleep next to a guy.
"Absolutely not," Hongjoong replied when you asked him to switch places with you.
"Joong! How can you let your baby sister sleep with a guy?" you whined.
He shrugged. "I trust San more than any other guy here. Besides, I need some privacy with my girl, you know? The dorms aren't a very great place to—"
You slammed your palm over his mouth, shutting him up. "I get it! I'll just deal with it."
You walked over to the bar, getting a whiskey and coke. You didn't have an issue with sleeping next to San; you just didn't know how you'd control yourself around him, especially after what happened hardly an hour ago.
After Jiwoo cut her huge birthday cake and popped a bottle of Champagne, some people from your grade sat down in one of the rooms to play truth or dare. Wooyoung and Mingi literally begged you to play and of course, you couldn't refuse.
"All right, I'm gonna spin it," Jongho said, spinning an empty beer bottle. It landed on Yeosang. "Truth or dare, hyung?" Jongho asked.
"Truth," he answered.
"I got one!" Seonghwa said, turning to smirk at Yeosang. "Do you like a certain Japanese girl who's in your economics class?" You chuckled, glancing at the Japanese girl who was sitting right across Yeosang.
Yeosang smirked. "Of course I like my girlfriend." Your jaw dropped and so did many other's. You glanced at Mayumi who was clearly blushing; she reminded you so much of Yeosang.
"Kang Yeosang! You sly shit!" Wooyoung yelled, playfully tackling his friend to the ground.
"I knew something was happening between them!" Hongjoong stated with a laugh, making Mayumi turn pinker than she already was.
After a few more rounds, some people left, making the circle of people smaller. Eunhee spun the bottle and it landed on herself.
"Truth or dare?" Mingi asked.
"Truth."
"Is Hongjoong hyung a dom or a sub?" Mingi asked with a smirk.
"Both, but mostly a dom," she answered, unbothered.
"I'm not even surprised," Wooyoung said before spinning the bottle. It landed on you.
"Truth or dare, Y/N?" Wooyoung asked, a smile dancing on his lips.
"I'll go with dare."
Wooyoung grinned mischievously. "I dare you to . . . give San a hickey." You choked on nothing in particular.
"In front of you all?"
"Obviously not!" Hongjoong said in disgust. "I'd rather not witness that."
Your friends cheered for you when you got up and dragged San along with you to the room you both had to share tonight. Your heart raced with every step you took, and when he closed the door, the only sound you could hear was your pounding heartbeat.
San removed his shoes before sitting on the middle of the bed. You took off your heels, getting on the bed as well.
"Where do you want it?" you asked, avoiding eye-contact.
"Below my collarbone or here," he pointed to an area of the left side of his neck. You decided to give it on his neck because you've never given a collarbone hickey, so you didn't want to screw it up and embarrass yourself in front of the man who was currently driving you crazy.
San sat against the headboard of the bed, letting you straddle his lap. You placed a hand at his nape and the other at his shoulder, leaning in to place your lips on his neck. You gently brushed your lips against his skin before kissing around the area for a while. Your hand at his nape moved into his hair, tugging on it. San groaned softly, hands gripping your waist while he tilted his head to give you more access. You started to suck on his skin, making sure you bit him gently and gave him a few little licks. San's hands pushed you down on his growing bulge, making you moan against his skin. You pulled away from his neck, eyes instantly locking with his. You glanced between his eyes and his lips, unknowingly biting your own. San freed your bottom lip with his thumb, running it over your lip.
"I'd like to bite that lip," San said in a low tone. You couldn't control yourself anymore. You crashed your lips onto his and he responded just as eagerly as you. San took your bottom lip in between his teeth, gently pulling and biting on it, making you moan. He smirked, pulling away. "You have no idea how long I've waited for this."
"Don't you hate me?" you asked, shocked by his little confession.
San flipped you onto your back, hovering over you. He pressed his bulge against you. "What do you think?" he whispered, making you blush. "Y/N, you drive me absolutely crazy. I've liked you ever since ninth grade." Your eyes widened; he has liked you ever since he joined your school?!
"But— Then why were you always fighting with me?" you couldn't help but ask, even though right now wasn't a very... appropriate time.
"Remember how I was back then? I was so nerdy and you liked guys who were the complete opposite of that," he said, cupping your cheek. "No matter how hard I tried to get you to like someone like me, it just never worked. You always liked seniors and dated playboys. And then when I started screwing around, you still didn't like me. I guess... I guess that's why I fought with you a lot and it got worse over the years."
"San, you were perfect," you murmured. "I always thought you were way too good for me, that's why I never really bothered." you ran your hand through his hair. "I'm sorry for making you change yourself..."
San shook his head, lying beside you on the bed. "It's not your fault. I was fifteen and stupid, Y/N. Besides, I'm used to being like this now." You bit your lip, not knowing what to say. "Y/N, I hated seeing you with Yonghee. I know you guys aren't dating, but the thought of you with him or with anyone else... I really hate it," he looked like he wanted to say something, but he was hesitating a lot. You cupped his cheek, giving him an encouraging smile.
San took a deep breath. "Um, Y/N, do you... feel the same way about me?" You immediately kissed him as an answer, making him blush and sigh in relief.
"Well, my dare is complete," you murmured, fingers running over the hickey you had given him. You leaned in, placing a soft kiss on it. "How about we continue from where we left off?" you whispered in his ear.
San smirked, pulling you close to his body by your waist. "Mhmm, I'd like that."

Oikawa & Iwa X FR
•Aged up•
Word Count- 2363
❗Warnings❗{Smut, angst, praising, infatuation, ridiculing, cheating, body shaming}
A/N: Thicc Y/N who's dating Oikawa and although he says he loves her it doesnt seem that way.
He smiles as he sees your eyebrows pushed together, you were always so cute when you were angry, he just wanted to keep making fun of you to see that face. "Tooru" you suddenly say making his smile fade, "Yeah?" He says confused and your phone buzzes, "Nevermind, I have to go, Iwa is here" you say then kiss his cheek before leaving.
A frown forms on his face as he sees you walk off, you were always hanging out with Iwaizumi. It made him mad because you were HIS girlfriend not Iwaizumi's. He huffs then leaves as well, whatever, hed just make you remember how great it is to date him.
Tumblr media
You walk in to find him on your bed and he smiles, "Hey" you both say, you climb onto the bed forgetting about today at work and he pulls you onto his chest. "Did you gain weight? Damn" he says with a chuckle making the thoughts come back, "I think, I'll lose it dont worry" you whisper as you move off and onto the side.
He pulls you close, his hands trailing your body making you anxious, you werent skinny like other girls, you had curves and Oikawa would always tease you about it, middle school to now and you always tried to lose weight but youd gain it back. An endless cycle and honestly the last thing you wanted right now was for him to be touching you like this.
Yet you dont stop him, instead closing your eyes and trying to fall asleep but his hands get more touchy, soon enough spreading your legs. "Not tonight Tooru" and his frown appears again, that's the second time this week you've called him that. "Okay" he says then turns around and you both fall asleep, one angry and confused and the other filled with dark thoughts.
Tumblr media
"I just dont understand, shes been calling me Tooru this entire week, why?" He says as he passes the ball to Iwa, "Its your name" He says making him huff. He knew it was his name but you've never called him that before, so why now?!
"I dont like it, she never calls me that so why now? Did I do something wrong?" He says and Iwa stops, "You always make fun of her, im surprised she hasn't dumped you yet" and Oikawa's mouth goes dry. His biggest worry, something he never wants to happen, for you two to break up, you meant everything to him, youd always lift him up, give him pointers and take care of him. You couldn't leave him, you're all he had.
"S-she knows I'm just kidding, I don't mean any of it" he says then the ball flies towards him, "Iwa-!", "It always sounds like you mean it, you tell her shes fat, that shes not pretty enough, that she isnt smart, terrible shit but you never say that you're just kidding. Even then you shouldnt say shit like that to someone who already deals with criticism as it is, you especially shouldn't say it to her because shes your goddam girlfriend" he leaves and Oikawa clenches his fists.
"Hey!" And he looks back, "Do you like her?!" He yells out earning a nod making his blood boil, "I've liked her since middle school, even more in high school and the most right now, but she made the stupidest decision on dating you" and he walks off again.
Tumblr media
"Youd never leave me right?" He asks as he rests his head on your chest, you dont answer making him look up with dim eyes, "You would?" He asks and you sigh, "If something were to happen yes but just breaking up with you for no reason would not happen" and he nods. "Um, what would be the reason?" He whispers remembering the conversation with Iwa, "If one of us cheats, I'd never do it but well..." you stop and he looks up at you.
"I-im sorry, I'll never hurt you like that ever again, so please dont leave me" you nod then place a kiss on his head.
He looks back at the tv but hes barely focusing on it, only remembering that night. He was drunk, saying terrible stuff and when he woke up he found you in front of him, sitting down, looking super tired and your eyes were so dry and red. He didnt know why till he looked around and found unfamiliar clothes, women's clothes.
You didnt talk to him about it, none of you brought it up and soon you were both back to normal but he knew that all trust created was gone.
His thoughts are broken by the familiar buzz pattern and you pull the phone to your ear, "Hey" you say with a smile, why cant you smile like that when you talk to him? Why doesnt your voice get all cute and soft with him? Why is it only with Iwa?
"Oh I'm with Oikawa" you say as your hand runs through his hair, he smiles and even more as you rest it on his cheek. "I-iwa" your hand twitches slightly and he can feel your aura change, "Dont call me until your done with that crap, God, you're worse than Oikawa" you put your phone down and he looks up at you.
"What's wrong?" He asks but you shake your head, "Its nothing, just Iwa being a bit of an asshole" he nods and you look at the tv.
"He doesnt love you, he says all that shit which he shouldnt be saying, what if he cheats on you again huh? "
You let out a sigh then close your eyes, uh oh, you're pissed.
Tumblr media
"Hey" you hear, turning around you see them and shoot a smile, "Hey guys" you say as you slowly come to a stop. "Whatre you doing here?" One asks, "Oh uh well you know working out" you say and they nod. "Any specific reason? You look perfect already" you laugh making them confused, "Yeah right, if I was Oikawa wouldnt judge me 24/7" you say and they tilt their heads.
"Anyways, I'm gonna get back to this" you say with a small smile and they head to the other side, "Whatre you thinking?" Akaashi asks as Bokuto glares in your direction. "I'm thinking that I want to kill Oikawa", "As much as I'd love to help you do that, its illegal" he says and he huffs. "Only if i get caught".
Tumblr media
"Whatre you doing?" He asks as his arms wrap around your waist, you step off and you smile, "Yes" you say and he rubs your stomach, it's not as squishy as before. "I finally lost 15 pounds" you whisper with a large smile and although he should be congratulating you it doesnt make sense. "Whyd you lose weight?" He asks and you look back, "For you, you wanted me to lose it remember?" You say and he looks at you in the mirror.
"I'll love you no matter what", "Haha, yeah right Mr. I want a trophy wife who's beautiful and perfect" you say then move away, his heart clenches hearing you say the words he regrets telling you. He didn't want anyone but you.
"Y-you know I love you right?" He says and you look at him, you dont say anything making his heart break. "I do Tooru, it's just hard to believe" and he looks down, "Okay".
Tumblr media
"Y/N" he says for the thousandth time this night, "Are you even listening to me?! It's like you dont care about me! You're always off with Iwaizumi doing God knows what! Why cant you just love me! Only me!" The tears keep falling but you dont look back and you dont let a sob escape. For three days it's been like this, him finding anything to ridicule about and making sure you knew how terrible of a girlfriend you were.
You stand then look at the tree your parents gave you, well it was meant for both of you, something to resemble your love for each other, always growing and alive till death.
A sigh escapes your lips and you walks up to it, "Just as I suspec-", "If I cut this down does that mean were done too?" You ask surprising him. "What does that mean?" He asks and you turn to look at him, "I want to break up" and he looks down. You're crying, you're actually crying, hes never seen you cry, you always refused to look at him whenever you did so hes never got to see it and he wishes he never did.
"Why?", "Why? Why?! Why else Tooru?! Every second I spend with you hurts me! The love in our relationship cant even compare to the amount of pain there is! You give me so much shit and i try to be better, i try to become someone perfect for you but theres always something! I dont love Iwa like I love you! I never have! I only love you but it's like you dont think i do! Even though you're the one that cheated! You're the one that broke the trust! I should've broke up with you before!" You cover your mouth realizing what you just said and you look away.
You were right but why did you say all that stuff to him, he looks at you but quickly looks away. "I'm leaving" you say then rush past him, "W-where are you going?" He asks as he follows you upstairs, you couldn't leave, not like this. He has to say sorry, he has to fix it, he cant lose you!
"I dont know but I cant stay here" you pack stuff up as you avoid his hands, "No" he suddenly says as you reach for the front door. "Bye" you leave in a rush and he looks around, "NO! GET BACK HERE!" and he falls to ground. It actually happened, you left him, you left him and it's his fault, who's going to love him now? Who's going to help him when he gets sick and who's he going to tease?
Tumblr media
He leans in as he holds you close, "I love you" he whispers but you stop him, "Its been two months yet you still push me away", "I didnt have sex with Tooru till we were five months in" you say but he doesnt stop, "Oh c'mon, you know you want to so ju-", "Can you stop? I'm really not in the mood for anything like this" you say as you push his hands away from your stomach and thighs.
"Oh I get it" he says as he pins your hands above your head, "You think I'm like Oikawa, that I'll point out your flaws, that I'll think you're ugly, that I dont actually want you" he says into your ear and you look away, he was right and you both knew that. "Well guess what, we all have flaws, I dont think you're ugly and damn do I want you" he kisses you hard but your squirm in his embrace.
"N-no Iwa stop" you let out with a soft moan as he rubs his knee against your clothed heat, "Why? We both want this, you just cant admit it" his tongue trails up your neck as you resist him only making him want you more. "So soft and you always smell so good" he murmurs as you grind against his knee although your mind is saying you dont want this.
"So pretty, especially these moans" desperate whines leave your mouth as he slowly undresses you, "Heh, I think we should take this to the bed" he says as he looks down at your naked body.
Your arms cover yourself as much as they can as he lifts you bridal style, "M-maybe we should wait, i-i should lose a few m-", "Shut the hell up or else I will tie you up" you nod fast and he places you on the bed. "Fuck me" you turn red seeing his eyes take you in, he reaches for his shirt and you move up to help him but he pushes you down making you bounce a bit.
"Stay right there" he undresses as you watch, once hes done he spreads your legs making your body heat up and filling you with so many emotions. "So perfect" he says as he pushes in slowly, you hiss slightly at the feeling you havent felt in such a long time. "Ah- no, Haji-!" He thrusts harder and faster making the frame hit the wall, over and over.
"So warm, so tight and it feels so good" moans leave his mouth making you bite your lip, this felt so different, way too different. "Dont think about him" he says as he thrusts hard sending your eyes wide open, "I-I dont know how he fucked you, or if hes a goddamn sub but dont! Fucking! Think about him!" He growls out with a thrust each time, feeling angry that even now you're still thinking about him. "Sorrysorrysorry!"
Pants leave his mouth as cries leave yours, "God I love you, I love you so much" he mutters as he looks at your pink cheeks and tears falling down your face, he lowers next to your ear as one hand holds your thigh as the other holds your head close to him. "I love the way you just clamp around me" his hips slow down, grinding against you, "I feel like coming every time I thrust into you, that's how good you feel" you tighten around him as the praises keep coming.
Why did this feel so good? Just his words were getting you there and it was so embarrassing that he made you feel this way. "I just cant believe that the woman I've loved since I was 13 is finally mine, that were here together and you're in my arms" he stops to kiss you and you sniffle slightly, "You can come now" a soft cry fills the room as you come and he thrusts a bit more leading to groans and a warm feeling in your core.
"You're mine, only mine".

my saving grace • jung hoseok
Tumblr media
plot – you rescue hoseok from the guys beating on him, never thinking that anything more would come from it.
genre – streetdancer!hoseok
words – 6.1K
You and your friend, Jimin, were walking home from work - both of you working as a waitress and waiter at a diner a few blocks away - when you walked past an alley and heard the tell tale sound of someone getting their ass kicked. You ignored it, this wasn't the best part of the city, there was always someone getting the short end of the stick somewhere around here.
"Hey, Y/N, looks like trouble." Jimin whispered, stopping in the middle of the alley, looking intently while you didn't even glance at it.
You grabbed his arm and pulled him away from the scene, "Hate to break it to you, sweetie, but this world is full of trouble."
"Come on," Jimin whined, tugging at your arm backwards. "It's three against one and the dude is getting his ass kicked. It's not fair, you have to help him."
You rolled your eyes, wondering how you ever made friends with this big hearted idiot. Really, Jimin was to soft and good for this world. You gave him a look, "If it bother's you that much, why don't you go do something about it?"
He glowered at you and you stared back unflinchingly as he said, "Because unlike you, I can't take on seven people at the same time."
"That was once and I was pissed." You reminded him pointedly. "And I got a sprained wrist and two broken ribs for my wonderful heroics."
"Good news then, this time it's just three." He said cheerily. When you still wouldn't budge, he pulled the ultimate weapon. "Please."
You sighed, knowing the battle is lost. You can't say no to Jimin's puppy eyes. "Jesus Christ, fine, if it will get you off my ass."
Jimin, the idiot, grinned widely. "Yes!"
You scoffed, walking back to the alley. At the entrance, you stopped Jimin and handed him your backpack. "Hold this and stay here. If I catch a glimpse of you in there, I'm leaving his sorry ass."
"Okay." Jimin nodded, taking your bag and clutching it tightly.
You entered the alley, taking in everything that was in the alley that could help you fight and the three guys. They were all at least three times your size. You whistled loudly, to catch their attention and turn it from the guy to you. They weren't beating him anymore, but they could decide to start again at any moment.
It worked, they turned around and faced you, looking a little confused. You decided to use that to your advangtage and to move quickly. You ran at them, jumping on one of the crates you spotted earlier and using it to propel yourself through the air, kicking the nearest guy in the face, full force. You landed on your feet and he landed on his knees, blood pouring from his nose. Quickly you landed a punch to his already broken nose, knocking him on his back. You weren't sure if he was unconsious though.
The other two snapped out of their stunned stupors and charged at you. You dodged them, grabbing the one's arm and twisting it behind his back, pulling it back with enough strength to dislocate it, a pained shriek leaving his mouth. The last guy aimed a sloppy punch that you dodged easily, snickering. You aimed a harsh kick to his balls, watching in vague amusement as he doubled over in pain. Out of the corner of your eyes, you saw the one who's shoulder you dislocated coming at you again, but he was clearly off balance from the pain.
From there on, it was almost laughably easy to knock them unconsious.
You looked at the three unconsious men - and one half-consious man - and almost felt disappointed that there wasn't more of a challenge, more of a fight to it. You scoffed, "And my mother wonders why I'm still single."
You stepped forward and crouched next to the guy who had his ass kicked, his eyes were swollen and his lip busted. His nose looked realtively okay, but you couldn't tell if he had other injuries. "Hey, you a retard yet?"
The guy groaned, lightly shaking his head and groaning again. You took it as a no.
You heard footsteps coming up behind you and your body tensed for a moment, ready to fight again, but then you recognised the soft footfalls of you best friends. You sighed, "Jimin, didn't I tell you to stay out of here?"
"I figured you meant until the fighting was over." He retorted easily, also crouching next to the guy and besides you.
You closed your eyes, pulled for strength and then opened your eyes, pushing yourself upright. "Okay, so I helped him, time to go."
Jimin scrambled to his feet and pulled on you arm to stop you from walk him away. "We can't just leave him here."
"What do you want to do? Take him back home with us?" You asked, not meaning it at all, more sarcastic than anything. Then you saw the look on Jimin's face.
"Well . . ." He trailed off with a hopeful smile.
You gaped at him, then shook your head. "Jesus, fuck, Jimin, no. You can't be serious."
"But what if we take him to the hosipital and they go after him again?" Jimin asked, worrying his bottom lip, glancing back at the bloody guy.
You groaned, feeling the urge to hit your head against the wall. "You're gonna be the death of me, Park Jimin."
Jimin perked up, eyes brightening. "Is that a yes?"
You sighed in resignation, "Yeah."
* * *
"What happened to you three?" Daejoon asked as he looked at the idiots that were supposed to take out his competition.
"We were taken out." The one said, but that much was obvious from how they looked.
"By who?" Daejoon asked, furious because who would dare take out people related to them?
"A girl." Another one muttered shamefully. "But she's was really good, scary good actually."
"A girl?" Daejoon'd brother, Sejoon, who had been lounging on the out perked up at this. "About 5'4, fast as lighting and just as lethal?"
"Yeah." One of the three nodded.
Sejoon leaped from the couch, started pacing. "Jesus Christ, and you say that she protected him? The guy you were supposed to take out?"
"We asked around and people said she and some other dude took took him with them. We can find them if you want." Another one explained.
"Another dude?" Daejoon's brother paled. "Okay, fuck, no. Under no circumstances are you allowed to go anywhere near where she lives." He turned to his brother. "Daejoon, you need to stay far away from that Hoseok guy."
Daejoon scoffed, "What, because of some girl?"
"She is not just some girl, okay? And that guy she was with? I'd bet my life it was Park Jimin. And if that's true, then you need to stay even further away from her."
"What, you gonna tell me he's some badass too?" Daejoon scoffed at his brother.
"No, he's harmless." Sejoon said, tense. "But her? The girl? She's not badass, she's dangerous."
* * *
The next morning, you woke up with an empty space besides you which was weird, because you gave Beaten-Up Dude Jimin's bed to sleep on after your best friend said that you couldn't let him sleep on the couch with those raw bruises. You told him that he would be sacrificing his own bed, because you aren't letting a stranger sleep in yours. Jimin didn't push it because you already did a fuckton of shit for him that night.
You almost flew out of bed, worried about Jimin, and when you pulled open the door, your mouth fell open. Because there was Jimin and Beaten-Up Dude, sitting on your couch and laughing. Jimin noticed you first and waved.
"Good morning." He chirped and you just kept on staring, remembering to close your mouth. He turned to Beaten-Up Dude, who looked a little worse this morning but not as much as you thought he would have. Probably because you cleaned up his bruises the previous night. "That's my best friend, Y/N, she's not much of a talker in the mornings, or in general really, so don't feel insulted if she doesn't answer you. It's not personal, it's just who she is." Jimin looked at you with mirth in his eyes.
So, you did the mature, grown up thing. You flipped him a middle finger and said with a fake smile, "Fuck off." before heading to the bathroom, your bladder suddenly reminding you that it was full after a night's sleep.
After finishing your morning routine, you left the bathroom and found two sets of eyes looking at you. You raised your eyebrows, "What?"
"Hoseok, that's his name by the way, was just telling me why those guys were beating him up. He's a street dancer and made it into the finals of a really big underground competition, and his rival was the one who sent those guy's after him, to take him out, but then you saved him." Jimin told you excitedly.
"I have a feeling I'm not gonna like were this is headed." You noted matter of factly.
"The prize money is 50 million won," This time it was Hoseok who talked to you and you turned to him.
You looked at him in disbelief, more than a little skeptical. "There can not be that much money in street dancing."
"There isn't, usually." Hoseok told you. "But this a competition that only happens one every five years and it's the best against the best. My offer is, if you can protect me until the finals, I'll split it with you in half."
"Definitely don't like where this is headed." You declared.
"It's not gonna be a 24/7 thing, just like, go with me to places during the day and then on the day of the competition you need to come with me."
"First of all, I already have a job. Second of all, it's illegal. Third of all, I'm not a bodyguard." You told the both of them, trying to ignore the two sets of hopeful eyes were watching you. Why Jimin's was working, you got, but why Hoseok's was working, you had no idea. The guy's eyes were swollen, for fuck sakes!
"Which is why I'm willing to give you half the prize money. Right now it's not even about the money for me anymore. It's about beating Daejoon's ass. He thinks he can get away with anything." Hoseok said, voice turning angry and indignant. The name Daejoon was vaguely familiar but you didn't worry about it. If it was really important, you would have remembered immediately.
"And if you don't win?" You asked, raising a brow.
Hoseok scoffed, "You really think they would beat me up like this if they thought that idiot has a chance of winning?"
"Fair point." You conceded, crossing your arms over you chest.
"So, you'll do it?" He asked, eyes lighting up hopefully.
"Depends." You said after a moment of contemplating in silence.
"On what?" He asked, frowning ever so slightly, then wincing because the movement pulled at his bruised eyes.
"When's the competition?"
"In three weeks, twenty-one days exactly. I won the semi-finals earlier tonight."
"Even if I say yes and follow you around during the day for the next two weeks, you still have the problem of nights." You pointed out. "They could attack you in your apartment or even when you feel like going to the corner store because you're craving a chocolate or something in the middle of the night."
Jimin cleared his throat, giving you a sweet, sweet smile and you immediately knew what was coming. "I was thinking that he could stay here until the competition."
"Of course you did." You deadpanned. "Any other wonderful ideas that I should be aware of?" Jimin pursed his lips, actually thinking about it, and you glared at him.
Finally, he shook his head. "Not that I can think of."
"Great." You muttered sarcastically. You looked at Hoseok, who's hopeful and desperate eyes tugged at your heartstrings violently. You sighed in resignation. "Fine, but no dancing until the swelling of your eyes go down."
"Uh," Hoseok looked a little stricken. "How long's that gonna take?"
"No more thank two or three days." You answered.
"Okay." He nodded, lips that were no longer swelled, pulling up into a heart shaped smile that had your cheeks heating up.
"So, you're doing it?" Jimin asked, repeating Hoseok's question. You hummed in confirmation, hands flying up to cover your ears when the two let out identical squeals of happiness.
* * *
You came to the realisation that Hoseok was attractive four days after meeting him. The swelling in his eyes was completely gone by day three and on day four, he used a bit of concealer to hide the bruised skin. And when you looked at him, really looked at him, you realised that he was hot. You wouldn't do anything though, it's always been easy for you to ignore physical attraction to someone.
"How did you get your boss to give you time off?" Hoseok asked as you two were walking in the streets, your destination currently unknown.
"I told him it was only for three weeks, asked really nicely, even used the fact that I've never taken a sick day in two years, and Jimin promised to help out until he gets a temp." You answered with a slight shrug, a little distracted by his sunny grin. He was tapping his fingers against his thigh, body moving lightly the beat. "So where do you practice?"
Hoseok lit up at the question, "There's this warehouse, owned my one of my friends, where I practice. It's where we're headed right now."
You made an 'ah' sound of realisation, having wondered where Hoseok was taking you two but not being bothered enough to ask him. There was, weirdly enough, already trust between you. "Do they dance too?"
Hoseok put on a thinking face that you found adorable and had to turn away so you wouldn't smile like an idiot. "Uh, just Taehyung. And Jeongguk, sometimes. He's very shy."
You frowned a little, remembering that he had spoken about a Namjoon the previous evening. "Exactly how many of you are there?"
"Including me? Six. You and Jimin will make for eight." He looked at you, that smile still locked on his face.
"Oh, we're friends now?" You raised a brow at him.
Hoseok's smile faltered, and your stomach twisted. You were about to tell him that your were just teasing, that you are friends, when the smile returned tenfold and he said, "You saved my ass and I'm crashing on your couch, if that doesn't make us friends, then I don't know what will."
"Yeah, okay." You smiled slightly at the look he gave you.
"You have a nice smile, you should do it more often." He said matter-of-factly and you rolled your eyes, desperately hoping your cheeks don't get noticeably red.
You chose to change the subject instead, "How come you don't ask them for help? Your friends, I mean."
"I just, I don't want to burden them, you know? We all have our problems and I don't want to make their lives worse."
"So, you decide to up end my life instead?" You said, voice light.
"You're getting paid, aren't you?" Hoseok said, words more teasing than anything else, but it set something off inside you.
The next moment Hoseok found himself with his back pressed against a wall, you all up in his personal space, eyes narrowed dangerously. "Let's get one thing straight, right now: I'm not doing this for the money. Sure, it's a nice bonus but that's not why I said yes and if you piss me off, I will leave."
"Okay, sorry. I didn't mean anything by it." He said, eyes wide and a hint of fear in them. It made you take a step back, something inside of you deeply hurt by the fact that Hoseok is afraid of you and there was no one but yourself to blame.
"Just forget it." You muttered, willing the tightness around your heart to go away.
"Why did you decide to help me?" Hoseok asked, curiosity getting the best of him.
Because I couldn't say no to you and it scares the fuck out of me, you thought to yourself.
"Jimin." You answered instead, which wasn't a lie either, it just wasn't the whole truth either.
***
"Does she hate me?" Hoseok asked Jimin that night after they had all eaten dinner and you disappeared into your room, saying you are tired and wanted to sleep.
"She would never help you if she hated you, no matter how much I pest her." Jimin answered, tilting his head at the dancer. "Why do you ask?"
"I think I might have done something to make her hate me." Hoseok admitted, face worried instead of the usual cheery aura he had.
Jimin snorted in disbelief, "That's highly improbable. Y/N doesn't hate easily."
"Today we were talking and she said something about helping me and I told her she was getting paid and I think I really pissed her off." Hoseok explained, hoping desperately that Jimin was right.
Realisation filled Jimin's face and he gave Hoseok a gentle smile. "Good news is, she doesn't hate you. Bad news is, she is pissed." When he saw the panicked look on Hoseok's face, he rushed to add. "But not at you. Really. It's just the memories that come with what you said."
"What memories?"
"I'm sorry, but I can't tell you. All I can tell you is that Y/N swore on her life that she would never use her fighting skills for money ever again, and even if that's not the reason she said yes, she's doing it anyway." Jimin told him, looking more than a little guilty. "It's her business and her decision to tell you the rest if she wants."
"No, that's okay. I understand." Hoseok gave Jimin a bright grin, but he was still worried that he damaged something between him and you.
* * *
"I'm sorry." Hoseok blurted out the next morning as you two started your trek to the warehouse. It was about a twenty five minute walk and now five minutes had passed in complete silence before he broke.
You frowned at him, "About what?"
"About yesterday, when you got so angry." He explained nervously.
"Hoseok," You started with a sigh. "It's not your fault, okay? It's my own issues. Your words just triggered some nasty memories, but it's not your fault and I'm not mad at you."
Hoseok's grin was blinding and you couldn't help but give him a small smile back. "Good, good, that's really good. And if you ever want to talk about it, I'm here."
Your smile grew a little wider, stomach fluttering. "Thanks, Hoseok."
The rest if the walk was spent with Hoseok chattering next to you about anything and everything, dancing to some beat in his head every now and again. Arriving at the warehouse, you saw that unlike the previous day, today there was people. From Hoseok's relaxed posture and excited eyes, you guessed it must be his friends.
And so you finally met Seokjin, Namjoon, Yoongi, Taehyung and Jeongguk. Hoseok stood next to you, "And this is Y/N, she's gonna protect me from Daejoon until the finals."
"Like he actually has the balls to do something himself." Yoongi scoffed. "He'll send someone after you again."
"And I'll stop them. Again." You said, speaking up for the first time. Yoongi looked at you, a little surprised, then finally nodded his head.
Watching Hoseok dance, you realised, was something out of this world. He was graceful, strong and powerful but at the same time he looked kind of delicate and beautiful. It was mesmerizing, watching as his body moved to music. You quickly figured out his routine - warm up to two songs, one slow paced and one fast paced, then he started practicing for the competition for hours - long enough for you to loose track of time as you watch him dance, and then he warmed down by stretching.
"You're good." You complimented him as you walked home later that evening. "Really good. I can understand why your competition is scared of losing."
Hoseok's flushed, "Thank you."
"Just telling the truth." You shrugged.
"Can I ask you something? You don't have to answer." Hoseok looked nervous, really nervous and you didn't understand why. What was he about to ask you?
"Sure." You nodded hesitant.
"Where did you learn how to fight?" He blurted.
"That's what you wanted to ask?" You chuckled. "I thought it was like for a kidney or something, with how nervous you were."
"Well, you are a very private person, okay?" Hoseok exclaimed and you snickered. "I thought you might bite my head off for asking."
"Nah, I don't bite heads of for asking questions. I bite heads off when people can't take no for an answer or fuck off, depending on my mood." You told him with a slight smirk. "And to answer your question, my mom and dad used to own a taekwondo studio. They were both Master's and they taught me."
"Wow, that's great. Do they still have the studio? Maybe I'll sign up for some classes after this is all over." He rambled excitedly.
Your face fell and Hoseok saw, but it was too late to take back his words. "No, they don't."
Hoseok hesitated, not wanting to make yo sadder that you already seemed. "Can I asked what happened?"
"My dad got sick, lung cancer, and he died when I was seventeen. My mom couldn't do it alone, so I tried to help but in the end it didn't work out and we lost the studio." You answered him, looking at your feet.
"I'm so sorry." Hoseok said, voice truly and sincerely apologetic.
"It's not your fault. Sometimes bad things just happen." You shrugged, still looking at the pavement.
"Yeah, I know, but it doesn't make it any easier."
"No, it doesn't." You agreed.
* * *
The rest of the time until the competition passed quickly. Too quickly if someone were too ask you, but Hoseok was excited. So was Jimin and all of Hoseok's friends, who would all be there to watch as Hoseok and Daejoon compete for the winning title and the prize money.
"Is this like a dressing room or something?" You asked Hoseok with a snicker as you walked into the room. You were in one of the backrooms of a club that the finals would take place in. The two of you had grown much closer in the last three weeks and it terrified you as much as it excited you. You didn't know what would happen after tonight, but you hoped that Hoseok would still be in your life.
"Yeah, technically, but for me it's just a waiting room."
You hopped on the dressing table looking at Hoseok curiously. "So, how do they decide who wins these things?"
"There's three judges and we get a score out of ten. The one with the highest score wins."
You let out a laugh of disbelief. "It sounds so normal."
"It kind of is." Hoseok nodded with a bright, if somewhat nervous smile.
"It kind of is illegal." You pointed out teasingly.
"Only if we get caught." He retorted and you snorted, nodding your head in agreement.
"You ready?" You asked Hoseok, looking at him with curious eyes and a fondness in your heart that's just grown stronger with each passing day.
"Yes, I am." He answered confidently.
The door to the room opened and in came a panicked Namjoon. "Y/N, trouble."
You turned to him, body tensed and ready for a fight but confused too. "I don't understand, Hoseok's right here with me."
"It's Jimin, some guy-" And you didn't here the rest of what Namjoon said because you were already out the door, running to where you left Jimin. You were vaguely aware of Hoseok and Namjoon following you but you didn't pay them any attention, to worried about getting to Jimin, your best friend, your brother in all but blood.
When you finally rounded the corner into the large room where Hoseok and Daejoon would dance, your blood boiling when you saw who it was. An all to familiar and definitely unwelcome face. Jimin, who was luckily pushed behind Jeongguk and Seokjin and neither look scared to start a fight, looked absolutely terrified.
"Taemin." You called, voice icy cold and loud enough to catch his attention. He turned to you, eyes widening a fraction. "Haven't learnt your lesson yet?" You asked, raising a brow and walking closer and closer to him.
"Relax, no need to be so hostile. I just came to say hi." He let his hands up in defence, smirk playing on the corners of his lips.
"That was not the agreement." You all but snarled at him, hands clenching into fists.
"I didn't know you'd be here, that's just pure coincidence." He shrugged a tad to smug and your fuse blew. You quickly knocked him to his knees and gripped him by the throat, leaning down.
"I believe I told you that if I ever see you within ten feet of Jimin again, I'll kill you with my bare hands." You told him with a sickeningly sweet smile and you could hear three guns being pulled and aimed at you. You didn't flinch, knowing exactly where each gunman was standing and how to take them out, and how to use Taemin as a body shield if one of them gets trigger happy.
"Let him go." It was Jimin, voice pleading but you didn't listen, to angry to as images of Jimin's bruised body filled your mind, how you took care of him, how you put him back together again, how you nearly drowned in guilt because it was all your fault.
"Let him go, this isn't you." This time the voice was accompanied by a hand on your shoulder, but it wasn't Jimin's. It was Hoseok's. His other hand reached out to wrap around the wrist of the hand that was holding Taemin's neck as he crouched next to you. He gently tugged at your hand and you let go. He grabbed both your hands in his and you looked at him, mind racing as he pulled you upright.
Why did you let go? Why did you feel the anger die down inside of you? Why was Hoseok's touch relaxing you instead of irritating you like it normally did when someone touched you while angry. Not even Jimin could do that. You shook your head to clear it, you'd think about it later. (Besides, you already had some idea, if the feelings you had towards Hoseok was any indication.)
You looked at Taemin aiming a deadly glare his way, "I'll be paying your boss a visit tomorrow."
"That won't be necessary, I'm right here." You whipped around and directed your glare at the other familiar face. "My apologies, I didn't think Taemin would be anything less than a gentleman."
You scoffed at Sejoon, "We're talking about the same Taemin, right?"
"Again, my apologies."
"I don't want your apologies, just make sure it doesn't happen again. We've had peace for two years now. I'm sure you'd hate for something to ruin that." You gave him a cold glare.
"Yes, I would." Sejoon gave you a smile that would have been charming in another world. "Enough time has already been wasted, what do you say we don't waist anymore and get this show on the road?"
"Keep your bitch on a leash." You warned Sejoon with a glance in Taemin's direction. You grabbed Jimin's hand and then you walked away, back to the room where Hoseok was previously waiting.
"You know that guy?" Hoseok asked once the door was shut, pointing a thumb over his shoulder.
You hugged Jimin tightly, rubbing a hand over his back as he held on tighter. You tried to meet Hoseok's eyes over Jimin's shoulders, standing on your tiptoes. "Yeah, why?"
"That's Daejoon's brother. He's the reason why the little brat thinks he can do whatever he wants."
"I thought the name rang a bell." You muttered to yourself then looked at Hoseok again. "Not tonight he won't."
"You should very sure of that." Hoseok noted as Jimin let go of you.
"That's because I am." You shrugged, turning your attention to the dancer.
"They're a gang." Hoseok blurted after a moments silence. You raised an eyebrow, silently asking him to go on. "Are you part of their gang? Is that why he won't do anything? As a favour?"
"No, I'm not in a gang, I've never been in a gang and I never will be in a gang. Sejoon will keep both Taemin and his brother on two very tight metaphorical leashes unless he wants to start a war with me again."
Hoseok frowned, caught off guard by the words. "Wait, what do you mean start a war again?"
"It's a long story that we don't have time for right now." You sighed and as a thought came to mind, you smirked slightly at him. "Hey, if you win, I'll tell you the whole story."
"Okay." Hoseok nodded, eyes locking with yours. "And dinner."
"Huh?"
"If I win, then you have to tell me the story and buy me dinner." Hoseok said, swallowing thickly.
"Okay fine." You smiled, heart beating way to fast, cheeks flaming hot. With a grin, Hoseok left the room and you saw Jimin smirking out of the corner of your eyes. "Don't even."
"I didn't say anything." He held up his hands in defeat.
"You were thinking it, it's annoying."
Jimin hummed, a noncommittal sound. He looked at you seriously. "Are you really gonna tell him everything?"
"Yeah," You gave him a slight smile that he matched with a bright one "I really am."
"I'm so happy for you." He gushed.
"Yeah, yeah, settle down." You said with flaming cheeks.
***
"You know, then I said I want you to buy me dinner, I didn't exactly mean nooodles and chicken skewers." Hoseok said with a light laugh later that night. He won, of course he did. You weren't even surprised.
"Why?" You frowned a little. "Did you want to go somewhere else?"
Hoseok shook his head, hesitating a little. "No, I just, I meant it more along the lines of a dinner date." Hoseok said, voice growing less confident and softer with each word he spoke.
"Oh." You said, realisation spreading through you as you looked at shy smile on Hoseok's face. Finally you spoke, shy smile matching Hoseok's and your heart beating just a bit faster. "Well, this can still be a date, right? I mean, it's about the person you're with and not the place."
Hoseok's beam returned as he happily exclaimed, "Yes, it is."
You two were near a river and bought food from a stall that was near a picnic area, so you two sat down at a picnic table, eating your dinner and talking about nothing in particular, just enjoying each other's company.
"You still owe me a story." Hoseok said after dinner as you were walking around aimlessly along the side of the river.
"It's really not that glamourous, so if you're disappointed, it's your own fault." You paused for a second, thinking where to start. "Right, well, I guess it all started two years ago, when Jimin and I were almost mugged by two idiots. I quickly took them both out and apparently Taemin saw me. From then on, he tried to recruit me into the gang. At first, he offered me ridiculous amounts of money, which didn't work. He did everything he could, went to my work, figured out my phone number, basically like stalking me. And then one day, he found out where me and Jimin lived. And he kidnapped Jimin." Your breath faltered here and tears gathered in your eyes.
Hoseok's arms was around you in a second, wrapping around to tightly. You melted into his embrace, calming down as he held you. "You don't have to tell me anything else."
You pulled away, shaking your head. "No, no, I want too." You took a deep breath and then took Hoseok's hands holding onto them tightly, drawing strength from his presence. "I didn't know, at first, that it was Taemin who took Jimin. It was only after five days of searching and nearly going crazy, that he told me I had one of two choices: join the gang and get Jimin back or don't join and Jimin dies. I picked choice number three."
"I thought there was only two choices." Hoseok said, looking a little confused.
"There was, I made my own choice. I declared war. Not just on Taemin, but on the gang. I investigated and I didn't let the law stop me like the police. I burnt down warehouses with drugs and guns, called in anonymous tips about their human trafficking safe houses. See, I knew that if the gang started feeling the loses because of what Taemin did, they'd do something about it. And I was right. It worked."
"How did you know they wouldn't just kill Jimin?"
"Because they couldn't catch me, and believe me, they tried. And if they couldn't catch me, they couldn't stop me. Which means unless they give me what I wanted, I wouldn't have stopped until I ruined their whole empire. Taemin called me one day, after two whole fucking months of holding Jimin, he said he'd give me Jimin back if I went to see his boss. I wasn't stupid, of course. So, I made a USB stick with all of the locations and gang members and gave it to my neighbour. Said if I wasn't back by the next morning that she should sent a copy to the police and a copy to the media. Luckily, it wasn't necessary. Sejoon handed Jimin over to me and we both agreed that as long as Taemin stayed away from me and Jimin, I'd leave the gang in peace. I also told Sejoon that one day I'd get my revenge for what he did to Jimin, because Hoseok, when I got Jimin back, h-he," Your breath caught in your throat, a sob making you choke. "He was beaten and broken, so badly. It took me weeks to get him to talk, months to go outside without me and he still looks over his shoulder to this day when he's alone."
Hoseok hugged you again and you cried, softly and not making a sound. When you were done, you pulled away and sniffled, giving him a watery smile. "Sorry I got snot on your shirt."
"It's okay, I can wash it again." He waved you off.
You took a deep breath, wiping your face clean with the sleeve of your shirt. "So, that's it. That's the story."
"Did you ever go after Taemin?" He asked, hesitantly.
"Oh, yeah! I almost forgot. I did, it took me five months because Jimin didn't want to be alone, but I did. I put him in a hospital bed with the warning to stay away from Jimin or I'll kill him." You told Hoseok. "I almost did kill him."
Hoseok looked at you, shocked. "Now I understand why you are so overprotective of Jimin."
"Yeah." You nodded, voice trailing off and you looked around you. There was a bench not to far from you two and you walked to it, taking a seat. "See, Hoseok, I'm not a good person. I've done things I'm not proud off and if someone I care about is in danger again, I'll do those things without hesitating all over again. Now, I'm not gonna lie, I like you and I trust you, which is why I told you the truth now. I didn't want this to come between us later on. I need you to know who I am right now, before we can go any further."
"You're wrong, you know." Hoseok said, taking a seat next to you.
"About what?"
"You are a good person. You're a good person who had something terrible happen to you and then you did bad things to make it right. Does it make what you did right? No. Does it make you a bad person? No." Hoseok took your hand, lacing your fingers. "I like who you are and I want to get to know you even better. I want to you know favourite song, your favourite colour, you favourite food - I want to know everything."
You squeezed his hand, smiling as your eyes blurred a bit. You giggled out of happiness, "I don't have a favourite song, there's to many good ones, my favoured colour is turquoise and my favourite food is lasagna." You smiled at him, warm and wide. "Your turn."
Hoseok told you as you told him. Later, you leaned on his shoulder as you two kept telling each other all of your favourite things. Some your would remember, some you would forget, but as you sat through the night and watched the sunrise, you knew there would be enough time for you to discover it all.
the end.

Garrote part 10
[Starz Power Diego Jimenez x Jazmine Mann (Black!OC)]
Word count: 3.1k words
Warning(s): Mature | Gun phobia, stalking. Diego and Healy get POVs in this one while Jazmine gets some R&R with the help from her mother. This is a plot only chapter, sorry. Previous Masterlist Next
Author’s Note: No beta reader and I’m far too exhausted to edit properly. After this story, I’m gonna adjust exactly how I format my fics. My million other fic ideas plus my debate over participating in NANOWRIMO this year have been keeping me from working on this too much, I figured it was time to put this up since the last chapter was posted in September...
Tumblr media
The rest of the day went by with a subtle ease. The temperature was just perfect for a coat and Diego seemed to have nowhere to be. Bordering on the miraculous, it was the man himself who asked her if she wanted to go out and have fun. Feeling caught off guard, Jazmine elected to throw caution to the wind and suggest something other than a fancy nightclub to hang out in. And when Diego heard the name, his jaw dropped.
Two-Bit’s Retro Arcade.
He did not ask why (though he did scoff, but more so in amusement than derision). Julio was elated to hear the address (apparently he’d been before), and Miguel looked crestfallen to have to stay at the penthouse. The journey from ritzy apartment to 25 cent arcade felt like being washed in time, stepping backwards into her past with a piece that didn't belong in that memory.
The place was decently busy, there seemed to be no parties bigger than five. A collection of young kids took up the classics section, rotating between Dig Dug, Pac Man, and Tapper Light. The young man who played pinball every day was there. She didn't know his name but she knew his three letter handle because he had the highest score on every pinball machine in the arcade. The rest were small and easygoing groups, buying beers and gathering around prize winning claw games or Dance Dance Revolution.
"Do they have air hockey?," Diego asked over her shoulder. He was dressed down per her request, in a simple hoodie and jeans. She kept glancing at him, feeling drawn to the simplicity of liking a simple man.
"Over here." She had no intention of hiding how familiar she was with this place. Diego gave Julio a nod and the man dissolved into the background but was never out of sight. Suddenly, Jazmine became very aware that there were now at least two guns in this public space. Air hockey was... occupied. "Looks like a college tournament. Come on, we're not going to be able to play for like a week."
She grabbed his arm to guide him away, but the man didn't budge. He stared those college boys down, looking for a fight. If he started something…
"Diego. Diego! Please… it's just a game, I know a better one we won't have to share."
At last he acquiesced and followed behind, never more than a foot away. She didn't realize she was holding her breath and wondered if those guys noticed his staring… they probably thought it was normal though.
Jazmine brought Diego to the darkest corner of the arcade where nobody was or needed to pass by. If she stopped dead in her tracks, Diego would have tripped over her immediately for how close he was, but now that he had her exclusive attention, she didn't mind. She gestured to her favorite game and smiled.
"Welcome to Marvel Vs Capcom: Clash of Superheroes," she announced. "Nobody plays this version because there's a huge glitch that sometimes makes one character untouchable."
"OK." Diego wore a sly grin. No doubt he intended to find the cheat character and win all matches, but Jazmine knew all of this game's little secrets.
Unsurprisingly, Diego's first pick was Wolverine. Jazmine refrained from rolling her eyes and let him work through the board of player characters, picking her own at random and sometimes picking the one she knew would fair better against his character to make it an even game. She watched his brow grow tighter and tighter as he couldn't find the broken character. He even switched up strategies– picking the characters that looked the least strong and working up from there (the opposite of his earlier choices). At last, he picked Chun-Li, having not noticed Jazmine picked it three times already, and he glanced at her face once more to see if she reacted, but the woman gave nothing away. Not until he looked towards the screen did she crack a smile.
The way the smugness drained off of Diego's face made her smile broaden. He looked at the controls as if they were to blame, then to Jazmine and back to the screen where Chun Li had walked off of the edge of the screen. Annoyed, he leaned over the controls menacingly and waited for an explanation from the Cheshire cat grin on his partner's face.
It took her awhile to answer him– she was trying really hard to fight the bubbling laughter in her belly. "Yeah, that um… that's what I was talking about. If you play the same character four times, the game breaks. You can't be hit but you also can't hit and you need to hold down the joystick to keep from walking off the edge of the screen… if you let them get away, well… you have to unplug the whole system."
Diego looked pissed. He stared her down for so long she gulped but eventually, he freed her from his penetrative gaze. His hand slipped under her jacket and found a home at the base of her spine, and suddenly she was being whisked away towards the bathrooms.
"Where are we–"
Diego wasted not a breath and pushed her into the women's bathroom (unsurprisingly closet sized), before crowding her space to step inside and lock the door behind. Her heart began to pound against her chest as he turned and fixed her with a commanding glare. He moved as sly as a big cat, forcing her to find purchase against the tiny wood counter with the sink and leaning over her with his lips pressed to her nose.
He said something softly in Spanish that she didn't understand, but it sounded sultry and it sent a pleasant shiver down her back. She thought he was going to kiss her, but then there was something hard and heavy he pressed into her hand.
A gun.
Her eyes bulged– glancing quickly between him and the shiny dark metal of the killing contraption– and shook her head minutely.
"Take it," he said. She just kept shaking her head, hiding her hands beneath her arms and feeling dizzy, on the verge of passing out. He growled. "I wasn't asking."
If he wasn't pressed against her, she would be rocking for comfort. Jazmine did not like guns. Her eyes misted over as she whispered, "why?"
"They've been following us since we left." He slid the wretched mechanism up along her arm and let it rest just below her collarbone. "Haagen's men probably. They're getting bolder– probably by their master's orders." He tilted his head as if he was speaking of something completely mundane as he said, "did you really think those air hockey guys were college students? It's a Thursday."
Jazmine didn't mean to whimper, but she managed to keep her tears at bay long enough to touch a finger to the gun, not quite taking it, but letting him know she would. She let him show her the safety and slipped it into the back of her pants, careful not to hurt her and demonstrating an awareness of her southpaw. He was almost hugging her when he finally stepped back (as far as the little toilet would allow). When his heel clinked against the porcelain, he turned to make sure he hadn't stepped in a mess, and Jazmine bolted.
~
"Hello?"
There was no one else's voice she wanted to hear more than that of Lashawn Mann. Jazmine felt guilt well up alongside the anxiety that had been threatening to consume her for weeks.
"Mama?" Her voice sounded so small in her own ears. "Can I come over and see you?"
"Of course, baby. You can come see me right now: I'm at your place."
Jazmine caught a cab from Essex street home, and though Diego possessed an acute lack of awareness for personal space or feelings, he did leave her alone for a while. No SUVs with fake licenses trailed her home, no voicemails and no texts came through. She put it in airplane mode to make sure things stayed that way. She had a thought to drop Healy's hearing aid down a drain but put it in her pocket instead.
Lashawn was waiting with Hercules. The tiny bit of annoyance Jazmine usually felt about getting slobbered on washed away the instant she saw her furry grey friend. The woman plopped her butt onto the ground and let the dog run amok in excitement to see her again.
"Mom…" Hercules settled down in her lap and weighed her to the earth like an anchor for a ship at sea. "If something happens to me, will you take care of her?"
"What do you mean 'if something happens to you'? Child, I ain't heard from you in two months and you come back with that?" Lashawn sat down on the floor despite her bad knees and leaned on her daughter's shoulder. "Baby, what's going on with you?"
~
Estupido. She shouldn't have run away like that.
Diego was overthinking in the backseat while Julio sat in perfect silence. The driver would have preferred the radio on, but his boss demanded the proper atmosphere to brood in. Taking what little he knew of the woman, Jazmine was probably going to retreat to her apartment since he lived in the only other place she was safe. Whatever– she would return in her own time. Unless her own time hindered their operation.
We can't lose this opportunity. We are so close to Porsche and revenge. Hurry up, cariño. Make our next move.
Diego was stuck deep inside his head even as he stood with his sister hours later in yet another huge warehouse with examples to be made of. Alicia wiped the blade of her knife onto her bodyguard's sleeve, then turned the blade over to her brother.
"Finish the last one, will you?"
Diego hummed, distracted by the conversation at the edge of the half circle. He did not like what he heard. He dug the blade straight into the crying man's heart, then cut his throat just for good measure. The blood on his hands was drying before he was able to speak again. He and Alicia were sat in her limo across from each other. She tactfully ignored his piercing gaze, while he worried the stickiness between his fingers mindlessly.
"What's this I hear about you staying in New York?"
Alicia glanced coolly up from inspecting her nails. "What do you mean? Someone needs to run the business."
"That's what that idiot and your little fuck toy Dre are for. They deal with shit here while we get Porsche back, and then we go home. Together."
"No," she shrugged. "Dre can't be trusted, Diego. I'm staying, you're going back to Mexico. We can split parent: the girl comes to live with me for a while and then with you. Every month or so…?"
Diego's hands ball into fists and his teeth hurt from the pressure of keeping his jaw closed. Fucking puta, he thought as the car slowed to a stop. Exiting the car, the man pulled himself up to his full height and reveled in the brief moment of fear that registered on her face.
"I'm not your errand boy, hermana. I don't do things because you think it's convenient. And I won't be sent away like an annoying pest so you can trounce about in luxury while I'm stuck doing peasant work. Am I the only one worried about that little fucking girl?"
Through the marble stonework of her mask, he saw the cracks in her armor. "We can talk about this later, Diego."
"Do you even want her back?," he sneered.
"Stop it!"
Alicia pushed him out of her way and disappeared quickly, her entourage scurrying to follow her. Diego looked to his men to find them with their eyes cast down as if they were witness to something they should never see. He stormed away with his head full of rage and more questions than answers.
~
Meanwhile in a stuffy police office space, Healy was getting chewed out. His superiors figured him out, and now he was sat in interrogation with a furious pair of agents awaiting an explanation and disciplinary action.
"You took it too far, Healy," his boss said. "I mean, you have really outdone yourself this time."
"Yes sir."
"Fucking A, right!" Agent Brasa slammed her hand on the table. No doubt she was chewing a huge wad of nicotine gum and gunning for his immediate firing. "This was our case, Healy, ours. Mine and Holbrooke, not yours!"
Holbrooke remained ever brooding, silently leaning against the wall and watching the scene unfold. Though they made remained neutrally poised, he could tell by the pinch in their brow they were just as angry as Brasa. Healy had given up trying to talk to Brasa, and instead appealed to Holbrooke this time.
"You two have every right to be angry with me–"
"Oh do I??" Brasa cut in, "I didn't realize I needed your permission to be pissed off!"
"-- but I did it because I had an 'in.' I saw an opportunity that only I could have seized, and–"
"Are you really going to let him get away with this, Stahlworth?" Brasa looked accusingly at their boss, who merely scratched at his neck and closed his eyes as if keeping them open pained him greatly.
"Brasa. Holbrooke. Out. I'll handle this the way I see fit– and don't argue with me, Marie, or I'll put you on suspension."
The two stormed out into the hall, and finally Healy was able to breathe. As soon as he had been confronted by Stahlworth, he had come clean– setting up a covert op without agency permission and using a civilian to distract the perp while he slipped a mole into the organization and collected information. Brasa and Holbrooke had done amazing work– they discovered Haagen was the head, profiled the victims, and knew many of the locations of the exchanges– but they couldn't get any further to seizure warrants or when the exchanges were taking place.
Healy looked pleadingly at Stahlworth. "They didn't have the resources to cover all those locations with proper 24 hour surveillance, Jack. Haagen is always one step ahead of them– of us– anyways because someone in this very organization is on his payroll. I don't need the glory, I don't want the case to myself– I just want this fucker behind bars. If you have to suspend me, I understand, if you have to fire me, I get it– but please don't throw out my evidence. People's lives are on the line, and Brasa and Holbrooke need this info–"
"Who's your informant?" Healy snapped his mouth shut as the dreaded words left Stahlworth to hang menacingly in the air. "Healy? Who. Is your. Informant? Who are you working with? Give me a clearer picture of what you've been up to, and maybe I'll ask the DA to go easy on your ass."
Healy gritted his teeth and dug his heels in. "I can't tell you any of that. A mole for a mole, I can't afford to trust that the eyes and ears in this very room are sound. Now if you want to pass this case back over to the agents it belongs to, I just have a few conditions concerning the safety of–"
"Is this about Meghan?," Stahlworth asked.
Healy's voice died in his throat. A lump formed and he had to swallow it down before it consumed him completely. Standing from his chair, Healy buttoned his coat and came face to face with his boss.
"This is about the kids I can still save. Sir."
~
After LaShawn helped Jazmine pack her belongings, the daughter decided to take Hercules to the park for some fresh air. Her mother had made it clear she wanted Jazmine to move back in with her since she'd lost her job, but what she didn't know was that before Healy and Haagen, Jazmine was two months behind on rent, and she should have lost the lease to her apartment weeks ago. As it stood now, the landlord hadn’t bothered her once– so someone was paying her bills. Exactly who would remain a mystery as Diego, Healy, and Haagen possessed the means and the interest in keeping her in New York City, so she tried not to think too hard about it.
Jazmine picked a spot in the grass and let Herc off the leash. She threw a beat up tennis ball with a little cheap plastic arm and watched her happy grey pupper zip around picnickers and other dog walkers, always stopping to be petted by every little girl and boy who squealed happily to see her. The woman was jumpy and constantly on edge, but for some reason she barely flinched when Diego sat down next to her.
"I'll be honest, I'm glad you're here," she said without looking his way.
He took the plastic arm and threw the next ball watching Hercules trot over hill and dale for this throw. "Did Healy tell you about Porsche?"
Jazmine turned to see the dark bags under Diego's eyes. "He said something about a missing baby… is that what you mean?"
The man leaned into her shoulder. "Yes."
"I'm sorry, Diego."
"I want my baby back, Jazmine. I want to watch her grow up happy and healthy and loved." He turns to look at her with an expression of maturity she didn't think he was capable of. "That's why I need you. We need you. You're probably scared, but you can't be more scared than that little girl is right now."
It felt like a punch to the gut. Part of her was annoyed by his dismissal of her fear, but for the most part she understood. It wasn't hard to figure out what happened to older girls and boys in Haagen's ring, but what the fuck was he doing with babies? The thought twisted her stomach until her head ached from nausea.
Diego continued, scratching at his eye to cover the build up of tears that threatened to spill out. "Healy said he found evidence of sales for kids under 13 that looked more like adoption papers than anything. Requirements for private education and a separate bedroom, things like that. He said he has a stack with no names but six of them are around her age with the name of the adoptive parents on it. It's a start."
"It's a very good start." Jazmine placed her hand on Diego's back and let him curl into her side with a sigh. "It means she's still alive, that's fantastic... do you think Haagen noticed the papers were missing? He probably has so many…"
Diego shrugged noncommittally and dragged her down to lay in the grass with Hercules. As he did, she felt the gun in her pants dig into her back, tightening that fist clenched around her heart. She was safe for now, in this moment. But would she ever be again?

Pairing: Kim Namjoon x Reader
Genre: Romance, Drama, Angst, Reincarnation, Fluff, One-sided love
Warnings: None
Snippet: In all of Y/N's three lives, she always falls for one person: Kim Namjoon. On her fourth life, she decided to make him fall for her in just 20 days and if she fails, she will leave him forever.
'OVER AND OVER' — SNEAK PEEK
Namjoon first met you when he was seven years old. His mother had brought him to the public playground, running around and searching for other children to play with. When he reached the swings, that's where he saw you sitting all alone, trying to tie your hair into a ponytail but was obviously failing. In the end, you threw the hair tie somewhere, and crossed your arms, looking pissed off.
He thought maybe you were lonely and approached you to ask you if you wanted to play with him. "Hello there, do you want to play with me?" It was an innocent and simple question, but when you looked up and saw him, your reply was strange.
"You're cute."
Namjoon frowned at this. "No, I'm not. I'm Namjoon."
You giggled. "I'm Y/N. Hello, Namjoon. And sure, I'll play with you!"
"Let's try the monkey bars—"
"Can I call you Joonie?"
"Um, sure—?"
"Okay, Joonie. Let's go!"
He couldn't help but to frown deeply when you grabbed his hand tightly and lead him to seesaws. He didn't want to go to a seesaw because he thought riding one was too childish, he wanted something challenging instead, and wanted to show how good he is at climbing the monkey bars. He watched as your lips broke off into a wide grin, as you looked at him and exclaimed,
"Let's try this out first, please? Then we'll go play at the monkey bars!"
Namjoon smiled. "That sounds good."
Both of you played at the seesaw for a good five minutes until Namjoon got tired and carefully got off. He couldn't wait to get to the bars, so he decided to play by himself, but before he can climb and grab one of the bars, you beat him to it, and expertly held onto the bars one by one. Namjoon was amazed and stared at you in awe.
The sunlight had suddenly hit your direction, and watched as your chestnut brown hair turn into a shade lighter. He then noticed that you were biting your lip, eyes focused ahead as you concentrated hard. He thought you looked cool and funny at the same time. He was admiring you but then something unfortunate happened.
You lost control of your grip and fell on the ground. Hard.
"Arghh...I think I broke a bone!" You sobbed out loud.
Namjoon panicked and called for his mom to help you get up, but then your own mother suddenly rushed towards both of you as she helped you, shouting and scolding you at the same time for not being careful. "I'm sorry, mommy. I wanted to prove to Joonie that I'm fun to be with."
"Joonie? Who's—ah, I'm assuming it's you, dear?" Your mother smiled softly at Namjoon.
"Yes, that's me. But my real name is Namjoon."
"Well, Y/N, why don't you say goodbye to your friend here? We have to go home now. You can play again next time."
You nodded, and Namjoon noticed that you had already recovered from the fall earlier. Maybe it wasn't that bad. Maybe you were just exaggerating it. He thought you were weird. But still, you grinned at him, suddenly grabbed his hand, and said, "See you soon, Joonie. Let's play again, okay?"
"...Okay."
"I think I like you."
"W-What?" It was so sudden.
You shrugged. "You know, that kind of feeling that only our mommy and daddy share together? I think I feel that way for you. You're cute. You're fun. You're cool. I want to be with you."
"But...we only met today..."
"Don't you believe in love at first sight?"
"Love?! Love is such a big word! Plus you only said you 'like' me! Are you crazy?"
"I'm not—"
"Y/N! Let's go home!" Your mother shouted, who was waiting by the car. You gave one last smile at Namjoon, as you waved goodbye, and finally walked away. Namjoon released a sigh of relief, finally escaping a weird person like you.
The next day, he had expected you to come again to the playground, but there were no signs of you. Days, weeks, and months passed, until he finally heard from his mother that you and your family had moved away the day after he met you at the playground.
"Such a sweet little girl, she is. She was your friend, right? Maybe you two will meet again when you grow up." His mother said.
He wished he will never see you again.
And he never did.
Until he entered high school. Namjoon was new at the school, and he had no friends to hang out with and walk to the classroom—and he didn't even know which classroom he was supposed to be at. He was walking around, when he suddenly heard books falling behind him. He turned around and saw a girl, about the same age as him, scoffing to herself as she picked up the books.
He immediately rushed to help her.
"Oh, thank you!" the girl exclaimed, and gave him a smile that was familiar to him, "Hey, I haven't seen you around here. Are you a newbie?"
"Oh, uh, yes. I'm Namjoon, by the way. Kim Namjoon."
The girl's eyes widened. Namjoon then noticed that her eyes were a mesmerizing shade of dark green, and her hair was almost orange. He thought she looked beautiful and seemed kind, and maybe she and him could be friends, until she uttered his name with a strange voice, "Namjoon."
"Do I...Do I know you?"
"What? We only met today." Now he was confused.
"I'm...Y/N."
Y/N? But the Y/N he knows had brown hair, and matching brown eyes. The Y/N he knows had moved somewhere far, far away, and wouldn't settle again to a school near his neighborhood. Plus, his mother knows everything, and she could've told him that you and your family was back again.
"I'm sorry for being weird, I just thought your name was kinda familiar," you suddenly laughed, "But yes. I know we only met today. I'm sorry. I think it's just a memory from my past life? Someone I called Joonie before?"
"Are you sure you're not the Y/N I met back at the playground?" Namjoon frowned.
You frowned. "No? I have no memories of a playground. From what I remember, my parents are strict and allowed me to play only inside our house."
Namjoon's cheeks heat up from embarrassment. He awkwardly laughed, as he scratched the back of his neck. Why was he thinking about the Y/N he met when he was still young anyways? That girl was annoying and weird, he still remembered how she said that she already liked him and had feelings for him even though they only met for the first time.
"Ah, I must've mistaken you for someone else. I'm sorry. Can you forget all about that?" he said.
"Of course. No need to say sorry. Wasn't your fault or anything." You grinned at him and Namjoon thought it was familiar again, but he shook his head, and smiled back.
After that encounter, Namjoon then became friends with a bunch of guys, and sometimes he talks to you too, but you also had your own circle of friends so speaking to you became rare. It wasn't really a bother to him because he can enjoy even without you, but sometimes he glances at you across the classroom, watching you laugh with your own friends.
He didn't know why he was so engrossed in you sometimes.
Until that day when you suddenly approached him after class, holding a newspaper to your chest, looking nervous. "Namjoon? I need to talk to you." you said with a serious voice.
"What's wrong?" he frowned.
"I...I saw this last week and it was bothering me a lot..." you started to explain, and lifted up the newspaper, "I had visions of me seeing and thinking about a little boy I call Joonie. I even had a dream that I saw him at a playground I don't know. I had brown hair...and...and different everything! But my name was still Y/N...and then I found this..."
Namjoon carefully read the headline of the newspaper.
'A 9 Year Old Girl went missing until hit by a truck.'
He looked at the picture of the young girl.
It was the Y/N he met when he was younger.
He was speechless. He didn't know what to say next, until you spoke up, "Is this her? The one you talked about that day when you bumped into me?"
"Y-Yeah..."
"I'm not her...but I kept having these feelings that I am her..." you looked at him, feeling confused, "...but in a different body."
"So you're telling me...that her soul suddenly transferred to your body?" Namjoon raised an eyebrow at you, suddenly feeling confused and stupid at the same time.
"Kind of like that...I don't know...I never had these memories before...and then when I met you it suddenly sparked something in me."
"I...I don't believe in those kind of stuff..."
Yet when he looked into your eyes, he senses something familiar. That same determination he saw at the younger Y/N lingers in your eyes, and even though hers were brown, and yours were green, both of you still radiated that energy he cannot even explain. It felt like he was back at the playground again, standing in front of you, asking if you can play with him.
But both of you are too different, but also too similar. Namjoon felt confused. Very confused.
"I also don't," you finally spoke up, "I'm sorry if this is just a waste of time. Forget this. I'm going now. You go home safely."
And then you left.
After that encounter, you and him became a lot more distant now. The two of you used to talk often during classes but now it seemed you were avoiding him, making sure your friends were there beside you all the time. There were times when you two have to talk, for projects and group works and all, but Namjoon observed that you looked uneasy beside him.
Maybe you felt awkward, he thought.
He decided to ask you about it.
"Are you...okay?" he asked gently.
"Huh? Yeah. Of course I'm okay. I just don't understand these word problems." you replied, accidentally groaning out loud in annoyance as you tapped your pen on the desk loudly.
"Here, let me teach you."
Namjoon went closer to you and started talking and teaching you about equations and formulas in order to solve the problems. But you didn't listen, and even if you listened you're sure you won't even understand a thing.
You focused on his soft voice, and the way he asks you in between explanations to make sure you understand. The way he squints his eyes every time he focuses on writing, and the way he mumbles under his breath every time he solves.
All the little things, you have noticed about him. And you found them beautiful. You were still deep in thoughts when he suddenly snapped a finger in front of you.
"Did you understand, Y/N?" he asked while chuckling.
You felt your face go red, feeling really embarrassed. Did he notice you staring at him? "I...um...yeah! I do! Thank you! I can manage myself from here. Thanks, Joonie—Namjoon!"
"Okay. Then, show me how to solve this problem," he pointed at the fifth problem written on the paper, "This one's the easiest. How about you try this out first?"
You nodded, and after a few minutes, you still can't solve the problem. Namjoon slowly shook his head. "You weren't listening awhile ago. Are you really okay? Maybe you don't have enough sleep...plus you've been avoiding me lately since...you know."
"I'm sorry," you sighed, "I thought you find me awkward and stuff. So I avoided you."
"No I don't. Here, how about I start tutoring you? I also want to be close friends with you, so..." Namjoon smiled shyly.
You didn't know why, but being close with him made your heart suddenly beat faster. So you smiled back, and agreed. "Sure."
And ever since that day, you knew you felt something for Namjoon. You thought it was just a small crush, but you found yourself glancing at him from time to time, searching around the canteen to look where he's sitting, and every night, you dreamt of him. You found yourself being proud of him every time the teacher announces he got the highest score, and your heart just flatters whenever he smiles—and oh! Those cute dimples.
It was strange. You never felt this way towards someone before, and you were sure you will never be attracted to someone but then Namjoon came. It felt like...strange as it sounds, it felt like it was destined for you to meet him.
The day finally came when you were sure you like Namjoon as more than a friend. And you were planning to confess. You were nervous, but at the same time, confident. He's been sweet and kind towards you these days, maybe he'll give you a chance and accept your confession.
"Namjoon-ah." You stopped him from leaving the classroom after class ended awhile ago.
He looked at you, surprised. "Yes, Y/N? Are you struggling with the lesson again?"
"No...but I have something to tell you."
"Okay. What is it?"
"Um...I...I think I like you. I...I like you for a long time now. More than a friend would!"
That sentence. It was all too familiar to Namjoon. It was the same sentence the younger Y/N had told him. But instead of saying something rude, he replied, "Y/N. I'm sorry, but I only see you as a friend. I'm not ready for these...kind of relationships."
Your heart slowly broke into pieces, and slowly swallowed the lump in your throat. You blinked, trying to stop the tears from falling, but you smiled anyway. You smiled. And Namjoon was once again reminded of the younger Y/N.
"I understand. I hope we'll stay as friends, is that okay? Let's just...uh, forget about my confession! Please?" You said.
"More than okay." Namjoon was aware that you were trying not to cry, but what can he do? He doesn't really feel the same.
The next day, you were absent. Then the day after that, then days turned to weeks, and then to months...Namjoon was so worried, he thought maybe he was the cause of your absence, until a teacher finally announced something about you.
"Y/N and her family went to America to transfer Y/N to a hospital that will take care of her better..."
"...she needs to go to a good hospital because they found out she has stage three cancer. Please include her recovery in your prayers."
But shortly after that announcement, Namjoon heard from your friends (who were crying loud) that you had passed away. Namjoon didn't know what to feel. He felt sad, because you were one of his friends, confused because he wonders why didn't you tell him or your friends about your condition, and lastly, guilty for rejecting you.
Were you already sick when you confessed? He don't know. And he will never know.
He thought about you a lot until he entered college and finally accepted that he will never see you again. During college, he found someone he likes for the first time. He wonders if this is what you felt for him back then. Namjoon glanced at Sunhee, the girl he likes, and smiled when she finished the race first. He watched Sunhee jump in excitement as she claimed the first place.
Sunhee is a good runner, and was more on the athletic side, doesn't really care about her grades that much—the complete opposite of Namjoon. Yet he likes everything about her.
Namjoon saw Sunhee slowly walking towards him, with a large smile on her face. "Joon, I did it!" she exclaimed.
Yes, they were also good friends. Sunhee begged Namjoon to tutor him because her parents were threatening her to study or else they won't support her in running. She reminded him of you, during the times when Namjoon would tutor you too.
"I know, I saw. Congrats!"
"Thank you, Joon. Do you want me to have lunch? My treat!"
"How about your girl friends?"
"Oh," Sunhee smiled shyly, "I also have something to tell you so...I want to talk to you alone...just you and me."
Namjoon agreed, with his heart beating faster. Could this be it? Is she going to confess? Would he finally experience the feeling of having a relationship? He could feel the adrenaline rush through his veins when they finally entered a small diner. While they were waiting for their food, Sunhee spoke up.
"Namjoon...please don't hate me when I tell you this but...I like you. As in, really like you."
His eyes widened. So he was right. Sunhee confessed. He thought he was wrong. Namjoon is one of the people that seemed 'invisible' to a lot of teenagers because all he does is study and stay at home. A lot of people his age prefers someone who parties a lot, and someone who isn't a nerd—so he didn't expect that someone like Sunhee would like him.
And it made him feel loved.
He grinned at her. "Me too. I like you too, Sunhee. Can I....court you?"
Sunhee looked at him with wide eyes. "You...you like me too...?"
"Yes."
"Oh my...of course! You can court me!" she exclaimed and leaned in to kiss him on the cheek. They both laughed loudly as their food was finally served. They talked about a lot of things while enjoying the food, and Namjoon couldn't be more happier. He likes someone for the first time, and that someone likes him back. It was pure bliss.
"Joon, do you know that girl behind you? She keeps glaring at you."
That made Namjoon frown and slightly look back, to see who Sunhee was talking about. And there he saw a girl, sitting by herself, softly glaring at him, but when their eyes met, she suddenly looked away. He studied her features. She has long, black hair, bangs that cover her forehead, and mysterious eyes.
Her eyes. He cannot see the color, but there was something familiar in it that made him a bit nervous.
"Is she your ex or something?"
"Oh, no, I don't know her. I don't have an ex."
"Really?" Sunhee asked, and he nodded. They kept talking until he noticed that the black-haired girl stood up, and was about to exit the diner when she suddenly stopped and looked back at Namjoon. He watched as she mouthed the words, 'Remember me,' before walking away and disappearing from his sight.
He didn't know who she was, but he has a feeling that he knew.
He saw that girl again at the local library, during summertime. Sunhee visited her grandparents, so he was alone in one week. Namjoon plans to spend his week reading away and learning new stuff. He was searching for a certain book when he saw the girl struggling to get a book from a high shelf. He decided to help her since he was tall.
When he grabbed the book she was trying to reach, he glanced at the title of the book. 'Reincarnation, Theories, and Beliefs.'
"Reincarnation, huh?" he asked.
"Yes," the girl replied stiffly, "Psh. This was just like when you helped me pick up those books."
"Excuse me?" His eyes widened in surprise when you uttered those words. Picked up her books? He did that when he met you.
"You're Kim Namjoon," she said, "I'm L/N Y/N."
"Y/N...?" he couldn't believe it, "But you're—"
"Different. I'm different. I know. I'm not from around here, but here I am, trying to search for answers. My visions lead me here. Someone keeps telling me that a person named Kim Namjoon is here, and I have to find him."
"How did you know I'm Kim Namjoon?"
You shrugged. "The voices told me."
"It must have been my past life. I kept seeing a playground, then me stumbling and dropping my books, then someone will help me. And then I heard a voice that says I should find you. When I saw you, the voice said 'Him.'"
"What do you want from me?" His voice suddenly turned cold.
"I don't know! This voice, these dreams, these visions, I never wanted all of this!" You screamed, "What is it about you that my past personas want? I don't understand."
"I don't understand either. Not many people likes me. I don't know...why Y/N chose me."
"But you know what that Sunhee saw in you? Is she really in love with you like I do?" Namjoon's eyes widened when he heard what you asked.
"But we only met today—"
"No, Namjoon. We met a long time ago. You're just too...too stubborn to believe that this is all real!" You snapped, "Whatever. Goodbye."
You disappeared for about four months, so Namjoon didn't see you again after that encounter at the library, but he didn't even bother about it because he's happy with Sunhee. For the first time in his life, he finally felt important to someone. Today, they were going to celebrate their second monthsary, and Namjoon planned a lot of surprises for his girlfriend.
Until Sunhee called and told him that she can't make it because she felt sick. Namjoon wanted to visit her but she told him she wanted to be alone at the moment. He felt a bit upset, but if Sunhee is really sick, he has to accept and understand.
He was about to throw away the bouquet of roses that he planned to give to Sunhee when someone spoke up, "Can't you give it to someone else? Those poor flowers. Bought and then only to be thrown out."
"You're here."
You rolled your eyes. "No, I'm not."
"Here. It's yours." Namjoon handed you the bouquet, and you took it hesitatingly. He gave you a tight smile, and your eyes softened.
"I finally know all the answers. Why all of this is...is happening. But I'll explain it to you somewhere. Come with me."
"Where are you taking me?" he frowned.
"You'll see." You both went inside a cab. Namjoon watched as you whispered to the driver the place where you two were going.
"Take us to the place where the rainbow ends, please." You tried to whisper, but your voice was too loud. Namjoon tried not to laugh at your failed attempt to be secretive.
The driver laughed. "You still call it that?"
"I do." You beamed.
It was a quiet ride, but he remembers your hand, taking his in yours. Your fingers were wrapped around his hand, but he refused to do the same.
He has a girlfriend. He shouldn't have agreed to this.
Then something unexpected happened. It all happened so fast. The car in front of them suddenly stopped and the driver was so surprised, he wasn't able to step on the brakes. All Namjoon heard was a loud crash, then all he felt was pain, the blood dripping from his head, and the warmth of your hand, before darkness consumed him.
Surprisingly, when he woke up, he was in his bedroom, with no injuries and definitely no car crash. He checked his phone and saw the date. It was the day after him and Sunhee's second monthsary.
It was just a bad dream.
After that weird dream, he thought it was a sign that he was going to see you again, but he never did.
Unfortunately, he discovered that Sunhee was cheating on him. She lied that she was sick, and instead, went with another man. Namjoon was heartbroken and wondered why wasn't he enough for her. Is it because he's different from the others? Sunhee never told him what was the reason of her cheating, so his questions remained unanswered.
He decided to just move on, and study hard to graduate and then find a good job. That happened eventually. Namjoon was very dedicated to his job, and promised himself that he wasn't going to fall in love again and, well, just focus on his job.
As he was going to work, he suddenly realized that it has been ten years since he last saw you. When he wasn't working, he sometimes wondered what happened to you, or if you would ever come to visit again, but most of the time, he just works and works and focus on his job as an author.
He mostly writes about the concept of art, nature, and sometimes poetry. He isn't that famous—yet, but the company loved reading his works. And by next month, they were going to publish his first book.
"Good morning, Namjoon!" His energetic co-worker, Jung Hoseok, greeted him, "Have you had your morning coffee yet? The new intern said she's treating all of us!"
"Morning, Hobi. That's kind of her but I already had my coffee, so I'm going straight to work." Namjoon smiled.
"Ah, that's too bad! By the way, Jungkook's looking for you, said the cover he's been working on for your book is ready."
"That's good to hear, thanks for reminding me. Where is he?"
"Hmm, I think he's talking to the new intern at his office!"
"Right. Thanks." Namjoon made his way towards Jungkook's office, where he saw the younger boy smiling and talking to a girl. The girl's back was facing Namjoon, so he really couldn't see her face, but he observed that she had very pale blonde hair, it was almost white.
"Jungkook?" Namjoon spoke up.
Jungkook looked at him and grinned, "Ah yes! Hyung! Your book cover is ready! I'm so excited to show you—and by the way, this is Y/N noona, she helped me with the idea for the cover! I was impressed. It's like she knows about everything you'd like, so I'm sure you'll love it!"
You slowly turned around, and he met your grey eyes, full of warmth and familiarity. When you smiled, memories of you at the playground, during high school, during college, suddenly washed over Namjoon.
"Y/N?"
"We meet again." You said with a soft voice.

I'm interested in what your brilliant mind could do with 27: "The washing machine broke, I almost lost my keys, the car got dented, and a wasp got into the house and hijacked the bedroom for four days! Four. Days." In the Marvel world please. Have fun!!
Living a normal life after working for S.H.I.E.L.D since you were 16 was a hard transition, that you had to admit. You decided to retire after dating Bucky Barnes and Fury found out. He’d not been impressed that one of his best agents was dating the Winter Soldier, even if you made a great team and Bucky was fighting on the right side now. But he wasn’t happy, and one day he’d called you and Bucky into his office and given you the ultimatum. You had to break up, or one of you couldn’t be on the team anymore and he’d transfer that person to an international base.
You’d been so mad at him meddling in your life that you didn’t even think about it before you handed over your ID and told him that you were done. You knew he hadn’t been expecting that, but you didn’t care enough to stop as you left the building, Bucky close by, begging you to reconsider, knowing how much you loved being an agent.
But you’d refused and the two of you stayed together, moving into a nice house in New York, which was where you spent most of your retirement. It was nice. Quiet. Uneventful even. Well, most days.
Since you left, Fury seemed to be getting his revenge for losing one of his best agents by making you regret it. Bucky was constantly sent on missions over seas so you barely had time together. It was pissing you off to no end, but you weren’t ready to call it quits on your relationship so you could go back to work.
So you got used to living a normal life, even if some days you struggled more than others. Your past week had been one of them days.
Bucky had been gone five days after only being home for a single day, and you were losing the plot, being left home alone. It had gotten bad enough that you had pretty much given up on doing anything, and instead you decided to lie down on the floor in the kitchen for a little nap.
You’d been there maybe three hours when something woke you up. You were slowly waking up when you heard your name be shouted and the sound of feet pounding towards you.
Opening your eyes, you automatically reached for a weapon, but relaxed when you saw who had entered your home. Bucky.
He was standing over you, his eyes wide with panic as he looked over you, searching for any injury before kneeling beside you. “Are you ok? Did you hit your head?” He asked gently, his metal hand feeling your head while his other gently stroked your face.
You were confused for a second, but then you realised he’d thought something had happened and you were hurt because you were on the floor. Smiling, you shook your head and took his hand. “I’m fine. Just a little sleepy,” you confessed, sitting up and kissing him before he could say anything. “I missed you,” you whispered, and he nodded, pulling you into a hug.
You could feel the bandages under his hoodie so you pulled back and looked at him. As if he could sense your question, he quickly diverted and gestured to the ground. “You know we have a perfectly good bed up there for when you get sleepy?”
You just snorted and allowed him to help you to your feet. “I haven’t had the best week. I’d take Hydra over this any day,” you muttered, pouring two glasses of water and handing Bucky his.
He took a sip, watching you over the top of the glass and waiting for you to elaborate.
Throwing your hands in the air, you got it all off your chest. “The washing machine broke, I almost lost my keys, the car got dented, and a wasp got into the house and hijacked the bedroom for four days! Four. Days.“
Bucky looked a little lost for words for a moment, but then he cracked a smile and suddenly you knew what was coming. “Babe, you’re a retired Agent of Shield, I’ve seen you take on men twice your size, unarmed. But you were defeated by a wasp?”
You glared at him and ignored the jab, instead addressing his wounds. “At least I’m uninjured. What happened to you?” You demanded, angry at the thought that it could have been serious.
He explained that someone had managed to sneak up on him, but it wasn’t too bad. You knew from the look in his eyes that he was lying about that. He was in pain.
Instead of getting more mad, you just sighed and moved closer, leaning into him again for comfort. “I can’t do this anymore,” you confessed, feeling his hands pause their circles on your back as he misunderstood what you were saying.
“Us?”
You frowned and pulled back, giving him another glare before kissing him hard on the mouth. “No, not us,” you clarified as you pulled back. “I mean this life. I want to be an agent again… But on our terms this time… We go to Fury and say I’ll come back, but only if you and I are a team. We go on missions together and watch each others backs. We make a great team, and he knows that. If he can embrace that and use it to his advantage, our problems will be solved.”
Bucky ran a hand through your hair, smiling down at you. “Do you think he’ll agree though?”
You nodded. “He’ll have to. He misses me far too much to refuse.”
