They're two beings in one but they're the divine rapresentesion of soulmates so they have some sort of shared mind and never are in disaccord and always know what the other thinks

Basically they're somewhat bird antrophomorphic becouse of the world "lovebirds" and becouse borsa are known tò have complicated and very romantic couple rituals

They're able tò physically separate but they dont often as without the other they're imperfect,since they will have two arms on only one side of the torso each and only one leg each

This is inspired by a greek legend where humans where initially beings with four legs four arms and two heads but the gods separated them becouse they feared them,resulting in humans spending they're lifetime tò find they're other half

But since they're the divine rapresentesion of love,they cant live far from one another and function like humans do

One head is sad and it rapresentes the delusion and toxicity love can have,while the happy one rapresent the happines that comes from it

They manipulated the other gods in falling in love with eachother so they would beg for they're advice and archieve control,but the other gods acknowleged and broke they're Cupid bow

The fact that the bow is broken is the reason mist of the people cant find their soulmate and often end up in toxic relationships,since cupid can no more guide them

Ever since I've watched the first episode of Mentopolis I had this feeling that it reminded me strongly of something and I have finally figured out what it was: a cartoon I have watched as a kid, named "Il était une fois... la vie" (eng. version: "Once Upon a Time... Life")

Now, I'm not sure how familiar Americans are with this cartoon (it was also released in late 80s/early 90s so that's another thing...), but the main premise was quite similar to Mentopolis - main characters were antrophomorphic versions of various types of cells we can find in a human body (red and white blood cells, enzymes, pathogens etc. each of their names being a pun or a play of words on the actual biological term) and they travelled through a body, explaining how things worked and having adventures. It was a kid show, every episode had some suspence, bad guys trying to harm the Big Guy (who we also get a glance at every once in a while) and good guys saving the day. I used to bug my parents every Saturday morning until they've turn on the TV so that I could watch this cartoon, it was strange and fascinating and one of the things that made me interested in biology in the first place.

Mentopolis feels like an upgraded version of this - PCs represent abstract concepts (conscience, attention etc.) instead of physically present cells; it's aimed to older audience and focuses on comedy rather than educating us - but I don't think I'll be able to let go of this connection now that I've seen it.

today i realized the souls of the purgatory are haunting me because i didn't pray enough for them last night. the lightbulb of my hall was twitching a few hours ago and i saw a lot of "stuff" in the corner of my eye. white, long beings that didn't have an antrophomorphic shape.

it all started yesterday: when i was about to sleep i saw a shadowman in the corner of my eye, too, and two little shiny eyes when i turned the lights off. i prayed for them until i fell asleep.
