I really wish people would understand that you can be a lesbian and still not want to be in a relationship or seek having a partner, there are lesbians out there that are 100% fine with being single and do not have the urge to date anyone.

A struggle that ive always had in my lesbian journey is feeling like a lesser lesbian or "not valid lesbian"

Because if I tell someone im a lesbian, they automatically assume ill want a girlfriend or wife in the future....which is not the case for me.

I always tell people im a lesbian instead of saying im an aroace lesbian as that will cause them to be confused and start saying how im not a lesbian then or that im just "confused."

Im tired of feeling like I need to "prove" that im a lesbian in order for people to believe me.

Can I just say im a lesbian and exist??
