I’ve written since I was 8, before and after I suffered a coma episode when a 4 wheel quad fell on top of me, in a birthday party.

I had the fortune to loose my memory and remember only few weeks before the accident. My notebooks and the things I read after I recovered were what gave me an insight of who I was. Who I truly was when no one was watching. How I perceived and judged my surroundings. Who were my friends, who were my enemies. What my insecurities were, and why. I saw the bad and the good in me and I chose one to stick to.

Writing has always been my happy place. It was also the bridge that allowed me to cross into a creative world. I showed my stories to a filmmaker and he planted a seed in me that grew out of my heart. I learned the art of storytelling and how this is the bridge into other mediums. Music Videos, Illustrations, Animations, Foley, Set Design, Storyboards. I’ve done them without experience. I followed a Story, added my Passion and put to work my Creativity. One after the other, like domino pieces, falling and impulsing the next move. The next gig. The next medium to explore. The next adventure to take.

Writing was the first thing that made me feel proud of myself. I knew that no matter what, the words I put into paper were true, raw, pure, unconditional and honest. My best version of self is found in-between lines vowels and rhymes.
