Aquarius are Not extroverted, especially if they have water Moon sign.

Everyone thinks Aquarius have many friends. That is Not true. Aquarius wants to have small amount of friends. And when I say friends I mean true real friendships.

a note on how i read synastry...

I think this may be my genuinely unpopular opinion on reading synastry (but I do consider myself more of a synastry astrologer and I read this way through careful observations that I've done), but I firmly believe that way too much emphasis is put onto house synastry as opposed to the synastry between planets. I always read planet to planet first and consider the houses secondary (and yes, they are important but the planets connection is the MOST important imho).

Why do I read this way?

First and foremost it is because I firmly believe the individual's own natal chart should be considered before comparing it with another's. Our natal chart lays out everything we need to know about our own needs in a relationship on its own, and therefore by understanding our own natal chart we can better understand what type of synastry works best for us.

How does this connect to the way I read synastry?

When we understand our needs in a chart, we can understand that we may be meant to experience certain types of house synastries as opposed what is standard, and what is pushed as good synastry, and what is bad synastry. The best way to understand this is to first consider the planetary interplays and to understand why you may have attracted (or are attracted to) a certain energy in your life. I think belittling synastry to house emphasis only will leave you to not understanding relationship dynamics enough and to further take you away from understanding more about yourself through not analyzing why you are attracting those energies. Planetary interactions are important because you may not even feel a certain house synastry if your planets are not connecting to it.

Unpopular astrology opinion

Personally, compatibility is a complicated thing. Though I do believe that there are key points to a positive and impactful relationship, we have progressive aspects and transits that can determine compatibility outside the natal chart. I highly advise those who are beginning to study astrology not to over fixate on what makes a union strong, but rather individual reasons for why that may be. We should combine astrology with free will as well as our "destiny", so we can put effort into what we're manifesting rather than leave everything to chance.

For instance, there could be strong indications of a relationship being prone to abuse or disagreements, however, if a relationship is relatively healthy, aspects or planetary position could be an indicator of a person's own victimhood rather than them being the perpetrator. It's all based on context, so if you see an indicator of tension within your partner's or someone else's partner's chart but things are going well, don't overanalyze. This is a part of their growth and is a indicator of deep karmic process that could be facilitated by their spiritual progression.

We shouldn't be catastrophizing a partnership, especially if the two people elementally oppose one another. We meet people based on qualities we're attracted to rather what their signs are. I've also realized that we can share similarities with a person with an identical energy but alternate astrological composition. As an astrologer, I highly advise we allow our relationships to grow into us rather than expect to fit perfectly at first.

Love is real and it is a choice. We choose to love because we want to nurture and grow, choosing to love someone is a way of telling them that you believe in them. Never second guess an opportunity to meet or know someone, astrology is a tool, not a goal. Evolve as you wish and follow your intuition.

Like, I don't even believe in predictive astrology. For me, astrology isn't some grand system for seeing if you'll get along with someone, who you'll marry, or how many kids you have. Astrology to me is just a tool for self-reflection. It helps me in my efforts to be self-aware and how I can be the best version of myself at any given time.

People who use it to try and predict events or blame whatever planet for whatever bad thing is happening are nuts. There are often real people involved in these things, and saying that the planets and stars and whatnot predicted some bad catastrophe is tone deaf.

But that's just me.

re ur other ask, i can’t publish it because you’ve mentioned a couple people (who, funnily, i don’t know. if that isn’t an indication of how choosy i am 🤷‍♀️) but u made points in it that i found interesting because i’ve had a completely different experience? i definitely think sirius’ character is butchered to make others’ look good (—i am not gonna rant about tags again, i am not gonna rant about tags—) but i haven’t seen it in the way u mentioned (which could be because i’ve stopped reading wolfstar unless it’s an author i *trust*).

in fact, one of the most annoying characterisations i’ve seen (and this is a problem i have with a lot of bottom harry in drarry too) is the stereotypical typecasting of short!bottom!sirius (and the tall!top!remus who becomes everything that his best friends are stripped of). the way sirius is written as a stupid damsel or a bratty princess who’ll shriek if his hair is out of place, or small and needing protection (either emotional or physical) bc he’s weak/incapable makes me wanna pull my hair out. it’s annoying bc sexual positions are not a personality indicator, but even more so bc sirius is butchered along the way too. nothing of his character remains until he’s just an OC or a caricature made to prop someone else. it was one of the biggest reasons i stopped reading the ship. the few r/s fics i read now don’t really have any smut in them.

anyway, all of that aside, we’re all playing in a fictional sandpit with actions figures, aren’t we? everyone’s gonna move and clash them differently, u just gotta decide which one u like 🙃

Some peoples takes on astrology feels more like a personal beef and less about actually looking at the chart combos fully. Which includes houses and combos of someones planets and other placements. But its nigh impossible to read all of them. Because each chart is unique.

Tho most astrology isnt based in fact and i see it more as for fun but eh that's besides the point
