Barbara Simon (Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret.)
She's an American woman in 1970 with a Jewish husband. On paper, the answer seems obvious, but her vehement rejection of all things religion (as well as her general hippie attitude), means that she's likely one of the very few women of her time that's against circumcision. Margaret's lucky she's not a boy, because if she was, having a foreskin would have added yet another layer to her religious confusion.
Would She Snip?: No

Babs and Dinah’s Place (2023)
I said there'd be some Birds of Prey art. I've also been reading more about Chuck Dixon and like what he's about, and I've gotta ask; how could such a homophobic dude accidentally write the gayest series to sail the seven seas? Anyway, had a lot of fun with this one, I may have accidentally discovered a passion for interior decor, and I can't wait to get to @gailsimone 's run

“Growing, ripening, aging, dying — the passing of time is predestined, inevitable.
“There is only one solution if old age is not to be an absurd parody of our former life, and that is to go on pursuing ends that give our existence a meaning — devotion to individuals, to groups or to causes, social, political, intellectual or creative work… In old age we should wish still to have passions strong enough to prevent us turning in on ourselves. One’s life has value so long as one attributes value to the life of others, by means of love, friendship, indignation, compassion.”
—Simone de Beauvoir in “The Coming of Age.”
