Hi! You don't have to answer this if you don't want to, that's totally fine! But you talking about Orville Peck's appropriation of indigenous culture with his fashion choices made me realize that I had never considered that there might be some aspects of "cowboy clothes" that white ppl shouldn't wear and that was super wrong of me. Again, you totally don't have to answer this, but I was just wondering what ways a white person could wear "cowboy clothes" in a manner that wasn't disrespectful? Or perhaps, should we not wear them at all? I can't afford T yet, but when I can finally get it I was planning on getting a cowboy outfit to embrace my trans mascness, but if that would be wrong of me I can scrap that plan no problem!
Ehhh again this is actually SUPER HARD to answer because almost everything about cowboy fashion & the cowboy "aesthetics" are lifted directly from Native American fashion and culture, either because a lot of cowboys back in the day were Native American themselves (including Afro-Natives & Indigenous Mexican vaqueros) or they were White & just kinda. stole the look from the Native cowboys due to a number of factors.
If you google "cowboy jewelry" the first thing that comes up is silverwork & belts & turquoise jewelry, which is taken from Navajo metalwork. Fringed leather clothing? Again, many Native tribes did that (& in some tribes the fringes could mean something, its not just for looks), most popularily with vests, jackets, and pants. A lot if the leather jackets were a result of Native women just sewing their clothes the same but in a European styled cut. Compare this "cowboy" look below to a Lakota war shirt: both have hair embellishments dangling from the arms.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Studded belts? Inspired by Cheyenne mirror belts, which often also have metal studs in them & you'll still see Native pow wow dancers have this in their regalia. Floral vests? A lot of the inspiration comes from Plains floral beadwork. Geometric patterns and blankets? Came from Southwest or Mexican Native American blankets & designs, ask any Navajo weaver & they'll tell you the same. Feathers in cowboy hats? Who else is famous for wearing feathers on their heads--? Native Americans. The look is still popular with older Native men.
Hell, if you visit this site that sells Western/cowboy fashion, you'll see a SHITTON of appropriation going on, taking Native imagery & designs, including one taken from Native American ledger art, all on White models.
Tumblr media
The appropriation of Native culture and fashion in the cowboy/western sphere is ongoing, and the influence that Native fashion & culture has in Western/cowboy fashion as it is is absolutely MASSIVE. I once said in another post that the cowboy/western aesthetic essentially belongs to Native Americans, Latines (especially Mexicans), and Black people. And the history of White cowboys has been one largely of colonialism, racism, and displacement of Indigenous peoples, and the masculinity associated with White cowboys especially is also steeped into racism & American patriotism (think John Wayne. There's a reason he's an American icon who played cowboys & killing Indians in films.). I think the only thing that isn't influenced from either appropriation or colonization is like, jeans. Even the style of cowboy boots themselves and potentially chaps were influenced from vaqueros.
So if you're White I'm not sure that'd exactly be a good route to take because trying to seperate Indigenous elements from this fashion/look (nevermind the problematic history of White cowboys) is almost impossible. Obviously I can't force you to do anything, but honestly if I were you, I'd try a different direction, because otherwise I think you'll find trying to do this will be very hard.

Lisa: Kibbe Analysis
I had previously made a Kibbe analysis post for Jennie and now its Lisa's turn 😌 On Kibbe communities online, Lisa is often typed as a FN/Flamboyant Natural but she is in fact, imo, a Soft Dramatic.
People often don't type Lisa as an SD because she has a cute face and a very lean body and apparently does not look like a natural fit next to verified SDs like Sofia Vergara, Sophia Loren, Rachel Weisz etc. SD is a very womanly, sensual ID and Lisa "apparently" does not suit the Diva Chic essence and is not "womanly" looking.
I strongly disagree.
A Flamboyant Natural is described as straight, broad, and blunt. A lot of flamboyant naturals have a muscular quality to their bodies as well. Quite often the bust and hips tend to be straight or flat.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
From these pictures, its obvious that while Lisa has broad shoulders, she has a very waspish waist and full hips. Although she's lean, she's not muscular. Her body is not straight or blunt.
A Soft Dramatic is described as
taller than 5'5 inches/165cm (Lisa is 5'6 or 168cms)
usually have long limbs (Lisa has very long legs and long arms)
Most fleshy through the hip and bust (although not always if you are extremely thin)
Moderate fleshiness on upper arms and thighs
A defined waist that is moderate in width in comparison to the rest of your body
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As we can see from these pictures, Lisa is very long limbed, she's 5'6/168cms but she looks even taller. She has fleshy thighs and full rounded hips. If she weren't as underweight as she is now, she would also have a fuller bust. She also has a very well defined waist.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
another very important SD determining factor is the T shape silhouette.
T shape silhouette refers to broad shoulders, small waist and proportionate hips. Lisa has a T shaped silhouette.
Tumblr media
This is probably the only outfit of hers where she's dressed like an SD. She looks amazing as she honours her Diva Chic essence and looks very sexy, very womanly and bold. She does not look out of place in this look at all.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
However she does look very out of place here. So much so that she's barely recognisable. On the left is verified FN Gwyneth Paltrow, who looks good in a white gown with zero draping because she has the frame to carry it. Lisa may have broad shoulders but she is not "wide" and does not possess the frame to pull off this look. She looks unlike herself because nothing about this looks screams "Diva".
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
However all these outfits truly bring out her Diva Chic essence and make her shine. Be it the makeup or the styling, the pattern/print heavy looks really make her pop.
An SD face is described as having:
Full features, exotic essence
Large eyes
Full lips
Fleshy Cheeks
Prominent facial features
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here is Lisa next to 3 verified SDs, (top right, Anita Ekberg, bottom L to R, Rachel Weisz & Sophia Loren)
All of them have full, lush features, an almost "exotic" appeal and are very visually striking. Lisa looks like she belongs to this ID along with the other woman.
Before you ask me, face matters A LOT when determining someone's ID. Don't believe people who say otherwise. You don't just dress for you body, you dress for your face as well.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here's Lisa in a bunch of outfits that don't do anything for her. Stylists always seem to be so lost with regard to what to do with her and she often ends up with the most questionable-looking outfits. Due to her cutesy personality (never forget Mentor Lisa tho, she can be very serious when she needs to) I guess its hard to put her in ball gowns and ultra glamorous outfits but these are exactly the kind of looks she looks incredible in.
So much of her styling seems like a lost opportunity. Being tall and skinny does not make someone an FN and Lisa looks the most plain in denim looks. Since she's not particularly fashion-forward or experimental with her looks, we often see her in the same booty shorts and crop top outfit formula on stage and off stage, she's at the mercy of whatever her stylist puts her in. But bbg is an SD in disguise.

i need to gush about li xiao stuff or else
Tumblr media
i love the like divergence you know?
when you first look at him you feel power from him from not only the pose but the attire and all. it all looks etheral
li xiao gives off an appearence of being untouchable but really hes hanging on by a thread.
you would think he has everything together, with how he holds himself. he fits in perfectly as someone else born into the highlife of tangton. the aspects feel practiced because since hes only adopted into the upperclass. of course he has to mimic the air of old money
OH YEAH its really cool how its practical too since based on limited info + tu he seems to be pretty hands on with his job and likely needs to move around alot so it makes sense for it to not only be fancy looking but also good for a fight. the sword also makes it clear he is willing and ready to fight which also ties into backstory stuff that would bleed into him
and! the sword based on someone i know who went clicking it looks like an anti cavalry sword used in the past by the chinese
i said it in a previous post but its actually this
its a changdao for anyone who didnt click
theres implications of him using it to go after bigger targets like maybe...
miramon
or espers.
plays into himnot being on top no matter what, politically or literally.
always the middle man , never anything more. only anything less. his outfit being not too extravagant like say councilor li in the new event shows this too. there's no billowing cape, no random cane , just his sword at his waist if he needs it. while li xiao is valued , hes just not ever valued more than others who have more inate power given to them
i love how hes in all white to symbolise purity of sorts. because thats how he attempts to come off as.
then theres the extra colours that act as a contrast to compliment the rest of his colourscheme otherwise the white is overwhelming.
the strips of black mar him+ the black in the shoes , it represents sins he cant be washed clean of because of what he undoubtedly commited and hes aware of that.
in certain symbolism black represents solemnity + its used as a representation of yin
whats extra cool is yun chuan wearing mostly black with stripes of white and li xiao in mostly white with strips of black. the yin yang symbolism there with the paths they ended going down is an inversion of their designs.
another thing is that using black in a certain way like copywrriting could conotate things like corruption and greed, things li xiao definately ended up bending to in a way
i also really like the red that could either be seen as xiao simply matching with the rest of the radiant guard or as a represenation of the blood on his hands indirectly from the false alarm or more directly with him allowing the experiments to take place. facliating their continuation
red in symbolism can actually be one of destruction or good fortune. honestly it fits with li xiao's life technically having good fortune since his talent was noticed by the li clan while also showing the self destruction that did him in
then theres my fav part which are his eyes which are either scarlet or reddish orange im not too sure but either way.
AIGHT also the bits of green in his belt might be a decoration but! just to put this down
green also has conatations with purity
intresting how alot of what goes into xiao's design attempts to potray purity + his actions (trying to atone/ fufil chuan's promise by unironically trying to change tangton for the better) but in the end that illusion is shattered in truth unveiled.
Ngl I think it's the themes of attempted purity in li xiao that endears me to him alot because I feel chronic guilt in a way it's very therapeutic to talk about him
Because I like unpacking what an extreme he is and his actions.
There's a very clear tragedy there in that he could have just been a plain good person albeit forgettable
The hook of the story of truth unveiled to me personally is while also highlighting the justice system and different ways of dealing with it there's also that other side where even if you wanted to gain powers to cut it at the nip you just can't if you aren't born into it
Maybe I'm just a bleeding heart for clinging to the tragedy of it all instead of moving on as the games themes encourage but it's always nagging at me

What are some of the favorite kinds of outfits that the characters wear? In and out of little space
// b i l l y //
when he's big, billy is a firm believer in jeans and a button-down shirt.
only on his more casual days does he wear t-shirts, usually band ones and the occasional hawkins high t-shirt.
he's a boots guy mostly, unless he's doing a lot of walking, then he'll wear converse hi-tops.
big billy won't be caught with his hair up unless he's at the garage. he works too damn hard on his hair for it to be trapped in an elastic!
on the other hand, little billy loves athletic shorts and tennis shoes.
he wears nothing but soft t-shirts, and during the warmer months, stevie's lucky if he can get a t-shirt on billy at all!
a lot of the time he wanders around the house shirtless
on that note, stevie can tell when billy's having a bad self-esteem day though, because billy will try to cover the scars on his torso with shirts when he's little
some days it doesn't bother billy, so when billy wanders down the stairs with a t-shirt on but complaining about being hot, stevie simply offers to turn the fan on and put billy's hair up because he knows why billy's wearing a shirt
// r o b i n //
robin loves piecing together outfits based on items she picks up thrifting with her mom
big robin often will wear button downs and vests, cool pants, and a funky pair of shoes
steve can count on one hand the amount of times he's seen robin wear the same pair of shoes -- she seems to have a few select favorites, but otherwise its a new pair every day just about
on her more casual days, she's notorious for showing up to family video in a shirt that gives steve pause, only for him to eventually ask, "is that mine?"
more often than not, robin gives him a shit eating grin and shrugs, saying, "i don't know! found it in my closet this morning."
little robin loves graphic t-shirts, mostly my little pony, carebears, and disney.
the only time robin wears shorts is when she's little, because its a lot easier to run and crawl around without fabric all around her legs!
they're usually denim pull-on shorts, without buttons or zippers because that's just too much work.
socks and sneakers are her shoes of choice as a little. the pair nancy got her for christmas was once bright white, but is now covered in grass stains and mud from her running around the yard
when she's dropped, nancy will either pin robin's hair back with barrettes or slide a headband into robin's hair to keep her hair out of her eyes.
robin refuses pony tails whether she's big or little -- they give her headaches.
// e d d i e //
big eddie wears ripped dark jeans almost exclusively. he has a few select pairs of jeans he saves for important days -- like job interviews and graduation. these jeans are still dark but lack holes, because that's more socially acceptable or whatever
band t-shirts and hellfire shirts are all he ever wears. he has like ten shirts that are his top favorites that he rotates in and out, but every now and again he pulls out a new one, much to everyone's surprise.
for a guy that doesn't do a whole lot of "sports things" he lives in tennis shoes. swears they're more comfortable than anything else he owns
though he is very well known for not actually tying his shoes, but instead shoving the laces into the shoe and pretending its not a problem.
little eddie often wears sweatpants or his ripped jeans (when he's feeling a bit bigger)
he trades his band t-shirts for just plain colored t-shirts, usually white or red. he has a handful of the same color shirts so that he doesn't have to think about what he wears, it's just kind of there.
wayne constantly battles with little eddie to let him tie the boys shoes. "you run around too much to have loose shoes, rascal" wayne insists.
usually there's some kind of bribery to get eddie to let wayne tie his shoes, and wayne's gotten pretty good at it
usually when eddie's little, his hair is pushed out of his face with a bandana or on the rare occasion he wants to match billy, he lets steve pull it back with an elastic. those days are very rare though, and usually only when billy requests it.

The Mandragora
Summary: Dandelion, Geralt and an evening at The Mandragora.
A/N: Trans masc/enby Dandelion, referenced past transphobia briefly mentioned, soft Gerlion. Book/game Geralt, book/game Dandelion. Set sometime post B&W.
For @witchersummercamp prompt, fireworks.
Can also be read on AO3.
-
Dandelion gazes up at the magical fireworks silently lighting up the sky in yellows and purple above The Mandragora. Geralt’s arms are wrapped around his waist, the witcher’s chest pressed against his back as he too watches the dazzling display. In the courtyard beneath the balcony upon which they stand is filled with people milling about, enjoying the performances, playing in the water or watching the fireworks like they are.
The Toussaint summer night is hot, though here by the river the soft breeze makes the heat tolerable.
“I thought you hated fireworks,” Dandelion observes.
“I hate the explosions; the lights are beautiful,” Geralt says.
“They are very pretty,” Dandelion observes, as another bout of lights burst across the darkness, shaping itself into the form of a dragon.
Geralt snorts.
“That’s not what a dragon-”
“Oh hush,” Dandelion says, gently slapping his wrist. “You can go one evening without correcting people about monsters. Besides darling, it’s art. It isn’t meant to be accurate.”
“So you always tell me.”
They watch the display in silence. Dandelion leans his head back against Geralt’s shoulder.
“Thank you for this lovely night,” he says.
“You’re the reason we’re here, you’re the artist. We wouldn’t have been invited otherwise.”
“I was invited. You didn’t have to come.”
Geralt’s arms tighten around him.
“I know being invited to join The Mandragora means something to you, of course I would come.”
Dandelion caress Geralt’s cheek, tracing the lines of age now lining the witcher’s face.
“Yes, but I know how much you dislike these kinds of parties.”
“The wine is good. And you didn’t make me dress up.”
Geralt is indeed dressed the least fanciful of the attending crowd. A pheasant among peacocks in his plain – if well-made – black shirt and trousers, unlike the colorful outfits around him, like the scarlet Dandelion is wearing. In its own way his understated dress manages to stand out more because of its stark simplicity and the stark contrast to his white hair, that it has drawn more gazes than anyone else’s attire.
“I like you in black,” Dandelion says, running his hands across Geralt’s chest. “It makes you look... enigmatic.”
“If you say so.”
“In any case, I’m glad you are here.”
More fireworks shower them in blood red.
Blood.
Last time they were in Toussaint it nearly ended with both their death, had ended with so many companions’ deaths.
“What are you thinking? You suddenly look so serious,” Geralt asks.
“About the last time we were here. About... how it all ended.”
Geralt grows somber as well.
“I wish, I wish it could have been different,” he says.
“So do I. For some of it.”
Dandelion rests his head against Geralt’s shoulder as Geralt holds him close, closing his eyes. Through his eyelids he sees the lights change from red to purple then over blue and silver to green.
“I wish I had been braver,” Dandelion says.
“I’m glad you weren’t. You just would have died with the rest.”
“Oh, not about that. I know I would have been beyond useless in that fight. I meant about us, about myself and what I really wanted.”
He sighs softly.
It had taken him far too many years to accept that Geralt loved him just as he is.
For Dandelion other people's love for him had always come with terms and conditions, from his parents who couldn't love the son they had but always insisted he be the daughter they thought he was, over his countless partners who always wanted something of him he couldn't give them, demanded he be someone he wasn't. And in all cases he ended up leaving rather than sacrifice who he was.
Geralt had never asked for such a sacrifice, had never wanted him to be any other than he was and loved him all the same. But that had taken Dandelion years, decades to figure out and then even more time to run away from what he concluded had to be an impossible dream. That he could never give Geralt what he wanted and besides there had been Yennefer at the time. By the time he had sorted himself out and begun to find the courage to say something it had been too late. Far, far too late and all he had thought he'd have was memories and dreams of what could have been.
The second chance he, they, had been granted when Geralt had returned from the dead had not been without obstacles. Getting from there to here had been an even longer and more painful journey, but here they were. But for all that Dandelion takes joy in what they have he do wish that the getting here had been less arduous.
“Not sure it would have changed anything,” Geralt answers softly. “I had things of my own to deal with. And even if it had I'm not sure it would have been better. We could just as well have ended up tearing each other apart.”
“Perhaps you're right.”
Gerald’s fingers twin into Dandelion’s hair as they rest their foreheads against each other, Dandelion's hands resting at Geralt's waist. Golden lights shimmers down around them.
“We're here now,” Geralt concludes. “That is all that matters in the end.”
Dandelion smiles.
“You are very right about that,” he says.

I See You Han Ye - Official
I've been posting a little irregularly lately because of travel and work, but also because I was obsessively watching Legend of Anle. I finally finished it up! All 39 episodes plus the little bonus snippets at the end. Don't worry, no spoilers here, just figs.
I really love Han Ye as a character. He's excessively noble and good, and I adore him for it. Gong Jun did a beautiful, nuanced job playing him. He's such an internal, controlled character that I think it would be easy to have him come off as flat or two-dimensional. Kudos to Junjun - he's really worked hard on his acting, and it shows.
Gong Jun had a few really powerful scenes that I am not going to mention to avoid spoiling them, but you'll know them when you get there. I'll have to do a post on my thoughts on the show later, after all the eps are freely available.
Anyway! My fig friend (who is primarily a doll collector) was tracking the official Legend of Anle dolls, and gave me a heads up when they were released. (Super cute by the way) I did a quick search to see if any official figs had been released, and sure enough, there was. The same manufacturers that had produced the Word of Honor official figs had produced two figs each of the main characters - Prince Han Ye, Ren Anle, and Luo Mingxi, as well as a prop set. The other figs are cute, but I gotta draw the line somewhere or else my entire house just becomes Figville, Population: Too Many.
So, I just bought both of Han Ye, plus of course the prop set. I do love my props! They happened to land in warehouse the same time I was sending out an air package, so they arrived speedily on my doorstep in about 10 days. Here they are:
Tumblr media
I don't have enough picture slots to do both at once, so today I'll post about the bottom two sets - the seated Han Ye and his props, and next I'll do the one with the veil.
You know I don't like to compare figs to each other, because each fig set is delightful in its own way, and in the case of the fan-produced ones, made with a tremendous amount of love and care.
However, since these were commercially mass produced, I feel fine saying that while these figs are cute, they are not as cute as the fan-produced ones. I've clearly been totally spoiled by my fig makers, in the best of ways.
BUT...you will be the judge!
The inspiration for this fig appears to be this scene:
Tumblr media
He's in his study (surrounded by his props!), his hair is up in this guan we see in the picture, the outfit looks very similar to this, and he's holding a fan.
Tumblr media
Like all PVC figs, this arrived in a sealed foil pack.
Tumblr media
As you saw, he arrived with his chair separately.
Tumblr media
Just like the Word of Honor official figs, this set also had the Tofu / Koitake brand names on the soles of the boots. Just like those figures, these also had the pants with the boots hidden under the fig - always a nice touch.
Tumblr media
The fig sits very well on the chair. No issues at all with him sliding out or wrongly positioned or anything at all. I don't need to stick or glue him down, and I don't need to put him on a fig stand.
Tumblr media
You know I love that they included his ring! I want replicas of all his rings on this show.
Tumblr media
Like most figs in chairs, he doesn't sit fully all the way back in the chair. I think the proportions for the legs would be too long if they did.
Tumblr media
As I mentioned before, the chair is well done. It's sturdy because it's so wide, and because he's leaning on one of the arm rests rather than standing straight up without further support.
Tumblr media
You can see the pose really well from behind here - I like it! This scene was so cute in the show.
Tumblr media
That is one big topknot! He looks good with his hair pulled back in his standard court look, but of course I love Han Ye's half-down hair the most.
Tumblr media
He has a very cute little side profile with the little tiny nose!
Tumblr media
They have his beauty mark under his eye here.
Tumblr media
And we're back around. You can see a bit of the detail with the fastenings on his yuanlingpao, but otherwise his outfit is extremely plain. Which is a pity given how gorgeous all his costumes were for this show. I've noticed Tofu / Koitake doesn't tend to put much printing or patterns on the costumes themselves - it's generally just color based.
Tumblr media
Even his guan doesn't have a ton of detail.
Tumblr media
Alright! That's the full pic set of the fig itself.
Tumblr media
The prop pack came individually bundled, with a box card. That made me laugh … I've never gotten a box card for a prop pack before! Sometimes I don't even get box cards for figs!
Tumblr media
You can see here that there's a cutout in the desk for the fig's legs.
Tumblr media
It's a cute set! I'd love more props for figs in general.
Tumblr media
I did very briefly consider buying two sets of the props so I had an extra for one of my other Hanye figs, but in the end decided against it.
Tumblr media
And here he is with the full set! Very cute.
Tumblr media
Here's a top down version too so you can see him hard at work.
This fig looks quite a bit different than most figs that I have. To illustrate, here's a comparison:
Tumblr media
I thought, oh, alright, his face is pretty wide. But then I compared it to a wider faced fig:
Tumblr media
I'm just not sure. Maybe it's because of the molded nose and mouth. Also, I guess I keep comparing him to A-Xu, which doesn't make a whole ton of sense! I think I just automatically pair him up in pictures.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here we have the box card and box for Han Ye, and here's the same for the props:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And just like that, I've hit my 30-picture limit per post. Come back tomorrow to see veiled Han Ye!
Material: PVC
Fig Count: 459
Scene Count: 31
Rating: A hard working Prince

Fresh(?) Impressions (10)
Other parts: |Trickstar| |UNDEAD| |2wink| |Ra*bits| |Akatsuki| |fine| |Ryuseitai| |Knights| |Valkyrie| |Switch| |MaM/Double Face/Crazy:B| |Eden| |Alkaloid|
----------------------------------------------
Hello Enstarries~☆ It is the 10th part already! With the trio Switch here! There really are a lot of idol (groups) to go through huh....I think I get now how the wayback machine works, so I hope I can finish this series next week or so to finally begin reading the "!" stories. Ngl, it's a lot more enjoyable to learn about everyone like this. I'd probably be too lazy otherwise lol.
DISCLAIMER!: Everything said here is for entertainment purposes only and not meant to attack anyone. This is not an accurate description of any characters but my subjective rambling for fun, so please don't take it too seriously. (Just to be safe, I'm kinda scared of elite idol fans) Also, you will hear me mention other games a bunch of times bc I'm that bad and uncreative at explaining and I'm still grieving A3!EN's shutdown. Eng is my 2nd (or 3rd?) language so there might be some weird grammar or spelling mistakes. And I write at 3 am usually.
Without further ado...Let's Ensemble!☆
----------------------------------------------
Tumblr media
You wouldn't think they're magicians at first glance, which is not a bad thing. Honestly, I don't have a lot to say about them. Their outfits are decent. A bit weird maybe. Sora's variation is the only good looking one. That's because the shoes just don't fit with the long trousers and the big thunder symbol with its thick black outlines on the vest look ugly and it's kind of too much with a third color (red/blue). And I don't like the zippers. Or the belts. I like the the necklaces though. Their music is pretty decent, too. At first, it wasn't really to my taste but it does make for nice background music, is what I discovered after going shopping and having Switch songs come up. It's generally upbeat but a bit more lowkey compared to Trickstar. I
A bit funky I think and hmmm...idk how to say this but it often uses these snyth instruments??? I have no idea what you call them but like, sounds that don't belong to a classical intrument, y'know? I sound like a grandma. I guess they kind of give the music the sparkle, as they're modern magicians and all. I like I "witch" you a happy Halloween and Omoi no kakera. Oh, I almost forgot to mention this, it's neat how everyone has hair highlights.
5/10 - average but they have some good songs
Natsume Sakasaki
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I do adMIT. While reading his Ep.1, I was more or less distracted by his magic of changing the text font as well as his speech haBIT. Maybe anone can do it and I just haven't seen it yet? But I saw that when he talked to Tsumugi it also changed? I cringed when he called us kitten. He seems like a gentleman but I just....don't vibe with him. He has a nice voice, though. It's rich and thick like condensed milk but not as sweet. He's a fortune teller so...yeah. Nothing comes to mind. Looks pretty chill otherwise.
4.5/10 - a dude but ehhhhh
Tsumugi Aoba
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Why does everybody hate him? Perhaps my brain is exaggerating some memories but I remember him being really dunked on by magic redhead anytime he exists and a lot of others as well? His memes show him very pathetically if I remember right. He does seem to be a bit of a pushover but not really meek? I want to say I like his fluffy hair but somehow I hesitate. He has a normal voice but smoother than the average. Like, milk. Normal 3,5% fat milk instead of plain still water.
5/10 - a dude with glasses
Sora Harukawa
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I think he's genuinely bebi but I can't bring myself to not dislike his voice. It's like muffled blackboard scratching. I thought he was just a normal happy go lucky sunshine shota but the bit of him having synesthesia came outta nowhere. I wonder if it's just like a trivial trait of his or if it's more explored. I was convinced that he didn't go through anything too hard but when he apologized for his laugh and talked about wanting to experience others perspectives, it gives me the feeling he definitely has experienced some kind of rejection due to his condition and general personality as well. Which is sad, you shouldn't apologize for being happy and expressing it, unless the situation is inappropiate ofc. That might also be the reason why he wants to bring happiness to others in need, like he once was. Btw his laugh is indeed a bit annoying. I'm sorry 🤧 maybe I'll get used to it with time.
5.5/10 - apple juice, smth most like but I prefer to drink only once a month
----------------------------------------------
Conclusion
This part might actually be shorter than Valkyrie's 🗿 Switch is just very lukewarm.
Now, just a small pet peeve rant that came to me after Natsume's Ep.1, that not necessarily just applies to him specifically, but I really hate the trope of "Oh, be careful around wolves, I am also one of them you know?" I know it's supposed to bring the fact, that they're potential love interest as well, to attention but to me it just seems like they're saying they're fucking perverts. Like, shouldn't you be happy, she feels comfortable enough with you to be in the same room or smth? Women especially know just how dangerous the world can be for them specifically, let them feel safe for 1 sec asshat. Like, doesn't Japan have train sections for women only bc the harassments got that bad? Women always hear to be careful at night, watch for their drinks, have some self-defense or escape tips, etc. Not attacking another person, let alone a women, should be fucking normal. Not even common decency. What is romantic about that?????? I know they all just mean it jokingly and all but I just cringe, whenever that happens. If you're already in an established relationship, that's a bit different but otherwise it's just weird and uncomfortable.
Phew, that was a mouthful. If you wanna share anything, just be mindful of others and keep in mind it's all just for fun here. My wrist is killing me so much rn. Until the next post ~☆

Uncommon Questions for OCs and their creators
Thanks so much for the ask! I wrote a Lot. 😅 So I'll put it all under a readmore :P
Will answer for my OCs Patrick and Vincent.
6. Do they consider laws flexible, or immovable?
Immovable! (Answer applies to both).
11. How do they cope with confusion (seek clarification, pretend they understand, etc)?
Vincent would seek clarification if the situation allows/calls for it – he generally wants to make sure he understands things thoroughly and correctly. For Patrick, it depends. For things he 100% doesn’t understand (e.g. an entirely new concept gets mentioned, or someone making a statement that seemingly doesn’t make any sense at all without context he doesn’t have), he would seek clarification, but for things he only partially doesn’t understand, he is likely to just sit with the confusion instead and try and “figure it out on his own” or otherwise just accept that there are elements he doesn’t quite understand, or understand yet, at least. However, he certainly wouldn’t “pretend to understand”, so sometimes if someone realises he still doesn’t quite get something, they might offer more information even if it isn’t requested, but they’d have to be able to notice…
13. What colour do they think they look best in? Do they actually look best in that colour?
HAH, I’m not really a fashion person + I have a very “taste/aesthetics are subjective” point of view where I wouldn’t want to try and assert my subjective opinion as fact, but I’m not sure I necessarily have an opinion to begin with here, so…
In any case, Vincent would have Opinions on this and those Opinions would be “correct” because I consider him to have good aesthetic judgement (he’s from a family with good social standing who also associates with/has connections with many families of good standing in turn, this kind of thing would somewhat come with the socialisation I think…). I don’t personally know what his opinions are, since I’d consider his aesthetic judgement to be way “better” than my own in its alignment with society/general views, LOL.
Patrick doesn’t really have an opinion about this. His/his family’s strand of Christianity has some level of focus on plain/modest dress where it would be bad to intentionally stand out or w/e, so in the end, looking “good” isn’t really the point (though looking presentable is). So, the standard outfit that I depict him in features shades of brown (as in my icon). But yeah I don’t really know for sure what he’d look “best” in, but I guess I think the brown(s) of his standard outfit does suit him fine imo. But yeah, he doesn’t really think about questions like “what colour do I look best in”, so.
25. What are their thoughts on marriage?
So, they both are from an older era of like 100 years ago, and they both come from conservative type families. They’re very much surrounded by and growing up in an environment where marriage is the standard expected thing of everyone.
Vincent has a romanticised view of marriage and wants/expects to be married when he is older (he’s 17).
When Patrick was very little (as in, around 6 years old or under), back then I think he would have just considered marriage to be the default state of adulthood that would simply “happen”/that simply “happens” to basically everyone as this standard thing, something expected/compulsory of everyone like how kids are required to attend school – not really associating it with romance or really understanding much about what marriage is (understandable at that age). He’d just know that his parents are married, other adults he’s aware of are married, probably pick up this general notion from family/society that Marriage Is Good, etc. There wouldn’t be a whole lot of awareness that it’s this active choice that two people make and (ideally) want for themselves, he’d just see it as, again, a standard/default state of Grown-Up Existence. He might have some notion back then as well that being unmarried as an adult is “bad” or a “failed state”, and that an adult who has not yet “achieved” that status would need to “achieve” it.
Obviously as he gets older, he would understand the concept more and know better what marriage actually is. And… he’s never been attracted to anyone, and the idea of a relationship doesn’t really appeal to him in the slightest. But Good Citizens Get Married, and he wants to be a Good Citizen. He does not want to be a Bad Citizen. From an early age he’d just assumed marriage would be in his future because of what I discussed above, and now that he’s older… well. He’s certainly not openly advertising that he doesn’t want to be married, nor does he really think about or acknowledge that much. There’s a bit of cognitive dissonance there. For a while, on some level he’s been able to simply not think about the matter at all because he’s “too young to be thinking about it/too young for it to be relevant to him”, kicking the can down the road as if anything is gonna change (it isn’t). But he’s getting older… (Like Vincent, he’s 17). Yeah, he can still get away with avoiding the topic. For now.
(There is a possible avenue of acceptable escape, which, more and more, he’s also starting to figure is the route he will go down: he’s extremely religious, so he can simply assert that he’s devoting his life so much to God that he can’t make room for marriage. Which wouldn’t even be a lie. The fact that his own father is a pastor might dampen that excuse a bit though. His dad devoted his life to God, and he still got married. Plus, he’s their only kid. So I think his parents kinda want/expect him to get married… lol. Oh well, 1 Corinthians 7:1. Good luck being a confirmed bachelor back in those days though).
(All of this becomes moot, of course, because he won’t ever need to face The Future anyway - since his storyline has him going away from the world, society, and basically everyone, to a pocket dimension and effectively remaining 17 forever.)
B) What inspired you to create them?
For Patrick, it was Milan Kundera’s concept of “totalitarian kitsch”.
“In the realm of totalitarian kitsch, all answers are given in advance and preclude any questions.”
The concept, discussed at length in The Unbearable Lightness of Being, made me want to take the basic idea and run with it and put my own spin on it: what if there was a “realm of totalitarian kitsch” that actually physically existed (see: the “pocket dimension” I mentioned above) as opposed to being a more metaphorical language descriptor of absolutist-style ideology? What if there was someone who could, and did, embody the concept of totalitarian kitsch – (or at least, the specific take I chose to spin on it?). This work of Kundera's comments on the duality/conflict of body and soul, so I really drew on that for his character.
For Vincent, I wanted a character to embody traits/characteristics that I like and/or want to explore which the character of Patrick couldn’t really get at. But inspiration was also drawn from Kundera for him too – namely, the concepts of “categorical agreement with being” and “the laughter of angels”, which I essentially think have some overlap anyway:
“Behind all the European faiths, religious and political, we find the first chapter of Genesis, which tells us that the world was created properly, that human existence is good, and that we are therefore entitled to multiply. Let us call this basic faith a categorical agreement with being.” (The Unbearable Lightness of Being)
“[…] whereas the devil’s laughter denoted the absurdity of things, the angel on the contrary meant to rejoice over how well ordered, wisely conceived, good and meaningful everything here below was.” (The Book of Laughter and Forgetting)
Vincent is able to find a certain resonance and contentment in regular everyday existence in a way Patrick never could. The two characters share some important similarities (that’s why they’re good friends), but also some good contrasts.

Troll market
the troll market was a scene in hellboy and was filmed in a mine in Hungary. there were loads of designs that were made, I have been told to look at 3 of them. Im doing 4 because they look cool. cathedral head : based on a guillermo sketch and then developed further with sculpting and rocks on the chin. apparently it has animatronic eyes.
I like this, its cool. cathedral feels kind of like a crown or hat but also feels like it cant be removed. the face reminds me of an owl with the face going down to a point and lack of normal mouth. the texture on the face reminds me of marble, which works well due to the stone of a cathedral. the cloth of the clothes also adds to the character. the vibrant blue is not a colour I see often i the uk and I doubt appears often in western europe and the US. the colour reminds me of colours seen in assassins creed revelations, taking place in turkey in the city of Constantinople, or modern day Istanbul. it adds to the old feeling and feels unfamiliar and foreign but not too much. Like it should be there. because of the large amounts of cloth, the brain automatically fills in what the anatomy of it is supposed to look like but none of it is confirmed.
Tumblr media
, organ: Its described as a small guy built up to human size. I dont know what this means. but it looks cool. the texture on the head reminds me of bone or armour plating that you would find on plated animals, like the armadillo. it could also remind me of a peculiar looking jellyfish. the other creatures they remind me of is the selkath from starwars knights of the old republic, and max rebo. also from starwars. the outer parts of the creature being disproportionate to the middle is also cool and doesnt look too out of place. The clothes also match the organ as both feel like they are old and it works well.
Tumblr media
, fish vendor. skin made of silicone, radio controlled head and tentacles, and the eyes can bulge. Its designed to look like a frog. I disagree, I think it looks like the head of a squid with more of a fish face. The surface of the creature itself looks suitably grimy, as if it had come from the bottom of the ocean and the eyes dont look too far apart to look anatomically wrong. The split ends of the tentacles is cool as it allows for the creature to grip things in a similar fashion to a human hand but also being completely different at the same time, hand shakes would be hard though. The clothes also look alot like the clothing seen on stereotypical fishermen wearing yellow rubber outfits, but instead of being nice and clean, it looks like it has been under the ocean for too long and picked up some discolouration and algae. some how I dont see this as a fish cutting up fish, My brain matches it more to a being that is suited to farming the product they are selling.
Tumblr media
, bagpipes: an animatronic suit with a human bagpipe. being played by a weird creature. This is all the information I have for it. The only thing I dont like about this is the human, it feels like there is an odd human baby who is also really old sitting on some ones lap. it reminds me of the tenth doctor from doctor who being made really old by the master. Otherwise I really like it. the head feels very tribal, the first word that comes to mind is pagan as it is a mask made of wood with charms coming off of the rough horns with beads, the eyes are plain circles and the candles on the top with wax dripping down feels very ritually. The mouth coming out of the mask also reminds me of the imperial spy from starwars: a new hope as it is not a normal mouth, or that alien that kills ziro the hutt in the clone wars series.
Tumblr media
These are really cool. I also fear I may have shown how much I like starwars. oops.

I finished the main quest for Tears of the Kingdom, rolled credits and got my little epilogue scene, and my final thoughts are... meh.
If that sounds familiar, that’s because the blunt truth is the game never changed from my first and second impressions. It shares the same exposition five times, it’s blatantly obvious not much is going on story-wise and the presentation, lovely as it is, can’t hide that. A majority of the plot is bad, and I don’t feel the need to sugarcoat that opinion for an otherwise good game.
(While none of my complaints are unique, there are probably hundreds of blogs and comments criticizing  the same things I am, I will say, maybe unpopular opinion: I don’t mind the Sheikah tech being basically erased and replaced with Zonai stuff, and other little retcons throughout. All my problems with the structure is from treating TOTK as its own standalone game and story.)
I don’t even hate the main quests most of the time, it’s pathetically easy to skip the bits I wasn’t liking each time. In some ways the town stuff is a massive improvement over BOTW and fun to play and interact with this world. The dungeons and even getting to those places with a companion are neat little sequences. But I cannot emphasize enough how actually completing dungeons and being ‘rewarded’ with essentially the same (far too long) cutscene is such a deflating experience to what I was just enjoying. I don’t how to briefly explain it, but I feel like new Zelda games have this problem where I’m not really a part of them anymore as a player, I’m just supposed to sit there and accept that Link is The Hero the universe revolves around. It’s weird and boring and I hate it every time!!
LOZ games have always been game first, with narrative being a far second priority. And I’m an easy to please lady, I genuinely love BOTW and HWAOC because they’re simple and don’t waste time dressing themselves up as anything more important than they really are. I expected TOTK to be on that same level just with a different gimmick. But even with those reasonably low expectations, the story feels like it’s the brainstorm session of a plot that lucks into making a scene or thread I like, but spends a lot of time saying nothing. Most of it fell flat for me, and the worst part is I can see how even just a few punched up sentences here and there could have a domino effect to better emphasizing what I think the main quest is thematically trying to say. You certainly can’t make Ganon’s terrible dialogue worse.  The basic shape of a decent story is there, it just desperately needs a second draft to reach its potential.
(I spent most of the post-credit scene thinking “what are you talking about?” as characters conversed about something that had been brought up maybe once, it was unintentionally funny)
Sorry to sound like a broken record, but it’s just plain true that Zelda is the only character I cared about here. She’s a bit too fair maiden archetype for me to be fully comfortable with (to be fair, this is a problem BOTW has too) but she’s got the closest thing to a basic character arc in comparison to the lacking development everyone else has. A concept at the center of her story is unambiguously cool and compelling to be worth pinning a game on. Along with the main quest, there are also side quests that show she’s been doing things like commissioning a schoolhouse to be built and starting an animal sanctuary at a stable. These are nice glimpses into a down-to-earth person’s life as she genuinely cares about the present world around her, not just the big plot stuff. It’s crumbs in comparison to other RPGs but I savored them.
I could say more but I actually want to focus on the stuff I set aside to get to the credits like finding more pretty outfits, or playing indie games I bought from itchio and haven’t checked out yet. At the very least, I preordered TOTK because I thought it would be fun to play and I might finally have an opportunity to experience something before fandom osmosis spoiled stuff for me, and I got to have that, it was nice. TL;DR narrative lacking but gameplay good.

How To Wear The Right Tie
Tumblr media
How can you wear the right tie every time Wearing the wrong tie to the wrong function can be a very bad look, almost as bad as a bad fitting pair of trousers! So for this reason it pays to fully understand men’s neckties, dress codes and how they can help you to make the right impression.
But before we delve into the world of necktie dos and don’ts it’s first important to understand what the tie symbolises, because what it suggests about you is as important as how you actually wear it.
Width & Length Every well dressed adult knows that a good outfit must have the right look. Most people know how to pick a suit that matches their frame, but many forget to match their tie. A tie must be neither so narrow that it looks squeezed, nor so wide that it looks like a scarf. As a general guide, the wider the shoulder line, the narrower the tie. The narrower the shoulder line, the wider the tie. When looking at men’s accessories online you can buy bowties Australia and get the correct fit for your outfit.
Lengths of ties also need to have some thought into the tie you are requiring. A length that is too long can make you look overzealous and even a little silly. This length also can sometimes give the impression that you are trying too hard. If this is the case, try to find something to shorten your tie from. This can be achieved by the use of a good cufflink or tiepin, these will help to make a long tie look smart, instead of overly long and overly wide.
When you buy bowtie Australia ties you should look at the design. Sticking to a plain tie for business purposes is important while buying a loud coloured bowtie or a bold patter should be kept for those special social occasions. Bowties are very fashionable and are a great alternative to the standard looking necktie.
Your necktie should remain no longer than the waistband of your trousers, any lower and it will attract some unwanted attention and it can also get in the way of things when you are working. Too high and it looks cheap. Also remember neckties come in child sizes so always check to make sure you are not about to make a fatal error and purchase the wrong size.
Colour Like many things its always best to accessorise your colours and a bowtie or necktie should not be forgotten when it comes to colours. It’s crucial to consider are you in the office or out meeting a client? Is it a formal occasion or just an ordinary day?
These are the things that should be considered before you purchase a new necktie or bowtie. Choosing the right tie colour is important because it will come across in many different situations and cannot have any negative impressions made on you. Making sure that the colour of your necktie matches your suit colour will help to brighten up your outfit while also making it simpler to coordinate. Plain colours such as shades of blue, grey, burgundy even green, yellow and red can accompany a suit or business attire.
Occasions Knowing what to wear and when is always important. If you are attending a formal presentation or corporate meeting, you may add a tie bar to accompany your tie. These can be purchased through men’s accessories online Australia.
As a rule, silk ties in bold solid colours are generally the best choice for formal events, you usually see these in boardrooms at offices. In recent years men’s neckties have narrowed and are often worn by the younger generation. They are very versatile and can accompany a shirt along with a leather jacket or cardigan.
Patterns & Prints There are so many different colours, patterns and textures to consider when you buy bowties Australia. Even with men’s neckties the designs and colours are endless. It is important to consider the colour scheme used in your outfit and pick something that will match. If you decide to go for a matchy matchy tie and pocket square then it is crucial that you have the confidence to pull it off, otherwise it will make you look uncoordinated. If you are wearing a jacket with a pattern or print it can help to tie your bowtie to the collar of your shirt or a jacket, this way you do not appear to be wearing just one colour. Ties with patterns and prints should be avoided as they can distract from the rest of your outfit.
If everyone else in the meeting room has a plain black tie and you’re wearing one covered in an entire floral print, then people are going to know that something isn’t right. For this reason, you should aways consider the kind of occasion you are going to wear your outfit to. Are you attending a formal meeting or going for an interview? The choice of material you wear should not be underestimated. Whether it be silk or cotton, always make sure your choice is the correct one.

Tunic
Where do I begin with Tunic? Well, I suppose I should start with what led me to it. I play a lot of Soulslike games, stemming from my enthusiasm for Dark Souls and Elden Ring, and so naturally, I'm always on the lookout for more Soulslikes to try out. Tunic, I found by watching an IronPineapple video series where he reviews typically not well-known Soulslike games, though some more popular games do occasionally make it into the series, much like Tunic did.
His review of Tunic was brief, but it interested me. So I mustered up the $29.99 that the game costs, and jumped right in. You play as a little fox person in an outfit reminiscent of Link from the Legend of Zelda, which makes sense given Legend of Zelda was one of its inspirations. You start off with nothing but the titular tunic on your back, though you're (potentially) quickly introduced to your first weapon: A stick. There's multiple weapons in the game - The stick is a sort of placeholder until (if) you get a sword, and you're able to find magical weapons such as a fire wand, a freezing dagger, a laser gun, a frog-tongue orb, and an hourglass that slows down time for everyone (yourself included).
Now notice how I added in those parentheses. Tunic is a game where there is no linear path, and this includes the acquisition of weapons and items. It's entirely possible to go through the game without ever even acquiring your bog standard sword, and in fact, there's a Steam achievement for Tunic that you get if you find the laser gun before you get a sword. I think the only hard required tool you find in the game is the frog-tongue orb, as otherwise I believe you're unable to reach certain places that you need to go to in order to progress the game (though I could very well be wrong!)
The non-linearity of the game's progress and item acquisition also compliments its story. The story is where Tunic shows the majority of its Souls influence, taking place in a ruined kingdom where lore isn't given to you by NPCs or a narrator, but rather it's pieced together by you based off the context of what you see and do over the course of the game. I won't get into the lore of the game other than to say that it's absolutely enchanting and mystifying, and I deeply appreciated it.
I'm closing in on 100% completion of the game's Steam achievements, but that's largely because I was able to quickly piece together the numerous puzzles that the game puts in your path, which, by the way, are sometimes quite in-depth. It certainly puts your brain to work, which isn't a bad thing. But you can probably 100% the game after casually putting in 25-40 hours, which isn't bad for an indie game developed by a single person.
Last but not least, the music. The music is just plain darn good, which is why I bought the soundtrack, even though it was a bit steeper of a price at $14.99. The soundtrack has 60 individual tracks, though some are short (think around the one-minute mark). But I don't regret buying the soundtrack whatsoever, it's all I've been listening to for the past week or two at this point, so take that as you will.
I'd give Tunic's story a 9 out of 10, the gameplay a 7 out of 10, and the music an 8 out of 10, so I suppose in that case I'd give it an overall 8 out of 10. It's very good, and I highly recommend it. Here's to hoping the developer decides to make DLC for it.

Fundamential Design Tension
One of the most basic tensions in game development is between the curated experience and player creativity.
Go heavy on the curated experience and the player feels more like they’re being told a story. Done poorly this can make them feel “on rails” or otherwise trapped in choice-free situations.
Go heavy on the player creativity and a) the capacity for things to just plain break is much higher - that thing you stress-tested for hours and hours will get roughly a thousand times as much stress-test in the first day after release. While patch culture may have its problems, the capacity to patch games after launch is such a godsend. Also, b) done poorly this can leave the player feeling like their choices don’t matter, because if nothing is curated the randomness can overwhelm the results of their choices.
I actually had to stop myself from saying “too much-” in front of each of these. There’s not actually something wrong with going very heavy on either end of this spectrum - An otome game with literally no choices in it is functionally an e-reader manga, and that’s fine. I’d argue it still gets enough flavor from its presence in the otome context to make it worth still calling it a “game” even with zero choice.
Sandbox games that have no scripted events, too, are absolutely fine. In those cases it’s good to temper player expectations, so they aren’t assuming, for instance, that the reasons they die will be fair. But if they know that and respawning isn’t a nuisance, they can just do whatever they decide to do, which is often what people come to games for.
You can contrast City of Heroes and Final Fantasy XIV here. XIV is heavily curated. There’s a right and wrong way to play each job, and even a solved right and wrong build for each job (though “close enough to ideal” is available to casual players so people are pretty cool about it). There’s no creativity in building your character. They don’t attempt that, which given what else they’re doing is probably the right move. They leave creativity for things like putting together your house, or fashion design on your outfit.
City of Heroes lets you build all kinds of bonkers creations. A bunch of archetypes, and then mix-and-match power sets within those archetypes, and then if you don’t feel like taking all of the powers from those power sets there are secondary power sets you can pull from instead. You want to be a weather mage who’s better at beating people to death with your fists than summoning storms? That’s allowed! On top of that you have the Invention system that lets you slot extra enhancements into your powers to mess with them and how they work. How many enhancement slots each power in your kit has is also customizable. So if you want to have a bunch of punchy skills but still have shooting lightning at people as your bread-and-butter go-to move? Totally allowed. But this can a) be kind of overwhelming, and b) result in horribly overpowered or underpowered characters, and to some extent solves this by making a lot of combats feel a little generic. In order to accept the gigantic selection of theoretical inputs the system had to throttle its possible outputs. When this game was invented the “chemistry” system of Breath of the Wild - later used by Genshin Impact as well - hadn’t been invented yet. I’d be fascinated to play a superhero online game that applied that concept to its superpowers.
So for all the variety for how you set up your character the quest designs are almost always “beat up everyone here” or “click all the glowy things” or “beat the last room worth of dudes.” In spite of having like 8 status effects they have to have a generic “mez resist” as a single stat that defends against all of them. In spite of letting you choose how your character got their powers, they can’t let that impact anything, just for raw writing-difficulty reasons (never mind balance issues if Magic-origin characters got to do cool quests that were good for farming and no other origins got to, or if Tech-origin got a quest with a special drop just for them).
I don’t think FFXIV got it right and CoH got it wrong, here. I love both of these games and their very different approaches. But they both had to grapple with this central tension where the more you set things up for the player in your game the more they feel like you’re playing the game for them, where the more you leave them alone the more they can feel adrift and the more you either have to write out piles of outcome trees or make things generic, which can make it feel like the vastness of choice they have doesn’t mean anything.

I think the hemline of the skirt is what looks odd (for Musa) she tends to have quit clean hemlines/edges to her clothes so the hemming looks a little odd.
i see your point! i think it adds to that structured and not loose feeling even if her clothing itself is flowier. using a different, stiffer fabric would resolve that but i'm not sure it would look Great with the top portion. the top has a much stiffer feel and part of the beauty of the original look is that difference in style. the sleeves and skirt being so flowy and loose with the top being structured and closer fitting gives it this really elegant and regal appearance. even just reeling in the bottom to give it a clean hemline would take away from that yknow? while i love the dress and could totally see musa wearing it, i think i'm gonna look for something else :(

Brothers and their Phone Cases!
Tumblr media
a/n: This is purely a joke.
prompt: the demon brothers and the phone cases they will have. Royals and Purgatory Hall coming next!
Tumblr media
✒Lucifer
A plain silicone case just because it looks pretty yet classy and its not something that catches everyones attention. He likes the color red in all variations and maroon is not an exception.
Tumblr media
✒Mammon
Mammon has a shit ton of phone cases especially is he developed a new interest lately and he found a case related to it and he also has plenty of plain silicone ones to match his outfits for a Devilgram post . But this is his favorite because Levi got it for him after a fight they had as a way of saying "sorry,I still like to hang with you"
Tumblr media
✒Levi
Like Mammon and Asmo,he has a lot of phone cases mostly anime related. Has more than 1 Ruri-Chan case that he wears frequently but if he doesn't want to or doesn't feel like it he wears this one, specially this one because he loves Totoro and you cannot convince me otherwise.
Tumblr media
✒Satan
He has just one phone case and it's cat related but also Salem related since he likes the history behind the place a lot. But instead of being an all white type of thing he has the version that has white letters because his phone is black.
Tumblr media
✒Asmo
This boy has all the phone cases in the Devildom if not in the world. He is very cautious about how he looks like and his phone is practically a part of him at this point so not having it matching would be a catastrophe. 10/10 for all his outfits but his favorite is the heart themed one that by the way, he has in all colors variations
Tumblr media
✒Beel
He likes to keep things simple but adding a sticker or two never hurt anyone as as long as he doesn't eat his phone,Lucifer is okay with him having little food stickers on it.
Tumblr media
✒Belphie
He likes stars and the space and I am sure that at some point he wanted to be an astronaut but ditched the idea because it's a lot of work (not only physical but mental) and he said "nope, never."
