Kazu needs a bull ring piercing on his nose so i can tug it with a leash

when my blorbos get to a point where they have LOTS of piercings I just pretend they swap them in and out for different looks instead of sticking to like a consistent configuration and i pretend that holes sealing back up isn't really a factor. Roundabout way of saying kazu absolutely has a bull septum piercing.

CONSISTENTLY, however he has one huge set of gauges, cartilage piercings at the top of his ears, at least one industrial, and at least one eyebrow. Canonically, his nipples aren't pierced either but they were tattooed as part of his body suit. Not that this has anything to do with Piercings to Lead Him Around By but recently the demons in my friends' discord have been telling me to give him a dick piercing and I DO think a prince albert would suit him pretty well without hedging in on Amir's Pierced Cock Crown.

“Will you come with me?”

“Of course.”

The tattoo parlor was brightly lit and decorated with sharks and other nautical memorabilia. There were plushies on the couch in the waiting area, shark jaws opened wide around the clock. There were plants in the windows and on high shelves. It was warm and inviting in a way that neither of them had expected.

“Do you have an appointment?” The woman behind the counter asked.

Kili swallowed and glanced at Fili. He took a small step forward. “Uh… I have an appointment.”

“What are we doing for you today?”

Kili looked back at Fili again. He faced the woman again, taking in her myriad of piercings. “An industrial?”

“Sweet,” she made a quick note, “And you, dear?” she asked, addressing Fili.

“Oh, I’m just here for moral support.” Fili squeezed Kili’s hand.

“I’ll just need to see your ID and I’ll get you checked in and then I’ll take you back.”

Kili fumbled with his ID, nearly dropping it before he could hand it over.

Seeing his birthdate she said, “Happy birthday.”

“Thanks.” Kili stuffed his hands into his pockets nervously.

“If you want to have a seat over there while I do this…” she gestured to the neon orange couch.

Kili nodded and sat down. The sun was bright and he was sweating, but not because he was hot.

“Nervous?” Fili asked, sitting down beside Kili.

“A little?” Kili admitted. “But also excited.”

“What are you nervous about?” Fili took hold of Kili’s hand and twined their fingers together.

“That it will hurt.”

Fili laughed a little, “Probably. It is a needle after all.”

“Yeah, but like how much will it hurt?”

Fili shrugged.

“But I’m also a bit scared of what happens when my dad sees it.”

“Your hair should cover it most of the time.”

“Yeah.” Kili crossed his legs.

They both sit uncomfortably for a moment.

“You don’t have to do this.”

“I know. But I’ve been thinking about it for years. And I want to do it. I just…” he trailed off with a shrug.

Fili squeezed Kili’s hand again.

“What if I don’t like it?”

“You take it out and it heals.”

“I suppose.”

The woman, who now introduced herself as Caitlin, she would be performing the piercing, handed Kili’s ID back. “Here you go. Do you need a minute?”

“No. I’m ready.” Kili wiped his hands on the thighs of his jeans before standing.

“Follow me.”

She marked spots on Kili’s ear with a magic marker and asked him what he thought about the placement. He shrugged and looked at Fili and then said that it looked good. Caitlin cleaned the area with a swab and changed her gloves at least 3 times (Kili was counting). The small room smelled like antiseptic.

“Ready?”

Fili, who had been standing near the wall to stay out of the way, now stood at Kili’s side.

“Squeeze my hand if it hurts.”

Kili nodded. “Ready,” he confirmed.

“On three,” Caitlin said. Her hands were steady and sure. “One.”

Kili closed his eyes.

“Two.”

Fili gave Kili’s hand two squeezes—their code for “I love you.” Kili squeezed back.

“Three.”

“Fuck.” Kili swore, eyes and nose scrunched in pain. He crushed Fili’s hand in his.

“Breathe,” Caitlin said.

Kili exhaled deeply.

“Good. One down, one to go. Feeling okay?”

The sting was already fading, but Kili knew it would hurt later, he had done some Googling and watched some videos about the process. “Yep.” His eyes were still closed.

“You’re not going to pass out on me?”

“He’d never live that one down,” Fili teased.

“I wouldn’t tell,” Caitlin said while prepping the next needle to pierce Kili’s forward helix.

“I would take pictures.”

Kili’s eyes snapped open. “Rude.”

“And I might share them,” Fili said cheekily.

“Extra rude.”

“Ready for the second one?”

“As ready as I’ll ever be,” Kili said. This time he squeezed Fili’s hand tightly before Caitlin even started counting.

And then it was over. The shiny silver rod ran from one side of Kili’s ear to the other. He handed over a small pile of crumpled small bills and they were out the door. Kili had a small paper bag with some saline solution and instructions on how to care for his new piercing.

They walked back to Kili’s car hand in hand. Kili caught a glimpse of himself in the window of a store and paused to admire the new piercing.

“It’s cute,” Fili said.

“Cute wasn’t what I was aiming for.”

Fili shrugged. “I can’t change what it is.”

Kili rolled his eyes with a grin. “Come on, you, lets go get some lunch.”
