I know that not many of you like The Kenji and Brooklyn relationships and how it was developed but honestly what other things you have against it other than the “build up”
People say their was “no chemistry or no buildup”
Really ? Than I think you should re watch season 2 and especially season 3 I know I might sound a bit rude and no I’m not saying you have to agree with me but for the love of god
Just let the shipper’s ship what sailed okey it’s Cannon so you can’t do much
That’s just my opinion thanks for coming to my Ted talk 😊

There should be a pizza themed cremation place
All the staff wear chef hats and have Italian accents from Brooklyn
And when they prepare a body for cremation, they treat it like a pizza and they're all yelling at each other goin SOPRANO WHERES THE EMBALMING FLUID I ASKED FOR???
Then they pop em in the oven and give you fresh ashes and say bon appetit

Beyoncé, Solange and Ms Tina attending the Luar show and Julez walking in the show is such a big deal to me. Obviously they are all very high profile individuals but this happening on the heels of The Cut releasing their article on the struggles of being an emerging and independent designer feels perhaps like a bit of hope? I know celebrity endorsements aren’t the end all be all - designers need cold hard cash, investors, actual funding but I hope Luar sales increase drastically after this. I hope independent designers feel inspired to keep going.
The Beyoncé stamp of approval is truly no small feat and not only was she in attendance but she was also carrying the Large Iridescent Ana Bag. Ms Tina is also wearing a jacket from Luar’s SS 24 collection!

Brooklyn Museum of Art
Today I went to the Brooklyn Museum of Art and honestly there truly is just something so incredibly annoying trying to transport yourself from Brooklyn to anywhere else in Brooklyn… geez. Manhattan to Brooklyn- fine, Brooklyn to Brooklyn- not fine. It probably also didn’t help because it was a gloomy and rainy Sunday. However, I will definitely say it was worth the somewhat annoying trip. First time going to the Brooklyn Museum and wow I thought the MOMA was huge, but the Brooklyn Museum was just something else. While purchasing my ticket, I was expecting to pay a student ticket which cost $14 but I was able to pay-what-you-wish which I guess is available on Sundays. Because the Brooklyn museum has so much space to work with- the exhibitions within definitely reflects that. Layout of the all the art never seemed overwhelming or cramped and all of the exhibitions were spaced out extremely well. I find that really big museums can get quite boring the more you go up floors, however the Brooklyn museum never gave me such feelings. I was able to take time with each exhibit and art work at my own pace- which reminds me another great thing about this museum was the lack of people (probably bc it was a Sunday and was pouring rain) but nonetheless that was a plus! The Brooklyn Museum has a collection of essentially everything from historical artifacts to modern artists- truly something for everyone. My favorite part of the museum has to be their little archive library tucked away behind tiny glass doors on the firth floor. I almost passed it because I thought it was a staff only portion, however luckily I saw people walking around inside and so I went to go take a look and I’m glad I did. I have never seen a museum display their what felt like a behind the scenes of their museum showing us how and where they store the extras of their collections. Truly something I have never seen before at a museum! The floor to ceiling glass containers housing everything from clocks, chairs, sculptures, and even bikes! was such a treat to take a look at- definitely a type of exhibition more museums should feature in my opinion :-p. I would also like to point out that something I felt at the Brooklyn Museum was it had the most sense of a community driven space where it wasn’t just chalk full of tourists and people going just to go. Met some really kind workers and there even was a Brooklyn craft market? happening right as you walk into the lobby of the museum- so the Brooklyn Museum definitely cares about their community which was heartwarming to see. So, if you’re tired of the Met or the MOMA, I recommend you to stop by the Brooklyn Museum because it’s a fresh museum you wouldn’t want to miss and perhaps on a sunnier day you could hop on over to their gorgeous neighbors: the Botanical Garden.

Zeldas was very pleased and excited for our housewarming on Saturday. The day was warm, the sun was bright (but not too bright) and our friends were friendly. All in all, it was a lovely weekend.
And now I’m ready to sleep for about 1,000 years.

Jackie Gleason: Music For Lovers Only (1952)
Brooklyn’s own Jackie Gleason. Legendary actor, comedian, conductor, and loudmouth. I found this in the classics bin at Riverhead’s Sunday Records during my first record-store victory tour. I didn’t even lift it out of the bins because I have absolutely zero interest in Fifties sounds. Upon closer look, it states (as the title says) ‘music for lovers only’. No one else. Wallflowers, lamp-post losers, and strike-outs can take a backseat. Or else, rage-aholic Jackie will scream at you to “GET OUT!” and bang-zoom your blabbermouth ass out of his rat-hole Brooklyn apartment like he does to his poor friend Norton. Our sympathies to him for having to put up with that shit.
