Buck had bought his bed solely for the size, every night he would lay sprawled out, his limbs situated in different directions taking up almost every single inch of the bed. However, now he couldn’t help but wonder if he had wasted his money on buying such a large bed.

Eddie’s arms were wrapped around his waist, pulling him closer to his chest, and Buck’s head lay tucked in the crook of Eddie's neck. The two were cuddled up as close as humanly possible and the bed seemed to have an increased amount of excess space that wasn’t there before.

“Buck” Eddie whispered, his voice croaky from the lack of use.

“Yeah Eds.” Buck murmured back. His head resting in the crook of Eddie’s arm.

I don't think I will ever NOT think about this gif right here and let me tell you why.

Buck is trying so hard to deflect any positive emotion in this situation because he still feels immense guilt for "losing" Chris. Even though it all worked out in the end, he hasn't forgiven himself for it and doesn't think he ever will.

Then we have Eddie. The way Eddie follows Buck's eyes no matter how hard he tries to avert his gaze. He knows exactly what Buck is doing and he will NOT let him deflect this. He doesn't stop until their eyes meet. He needs Buck to know that's it's okay and that it's not his fault. He's following Buck's movements and forcing him to lock eyes with him.
