listen i know people take issue with legend of korra for changing their perceptions of the original characters but i need someone to show me what in atla indicated that toph would be a good mother. girl was fully ready to commit war crimes at age 12, fully snatched the wigs of anyone who mildly annoyed her, and i love her for it. how is her having a hoe phase that ended with two children and then being a hardass out of character in the slightest.
