Sela Lunarstep:

💗 Ramble a bit about this character!

Oh gosh, there’s so much to ramble about! Sela’s actually not my oldest EU character, she’s younger than Kurra by a smidge, but she’s definitely my favorite! She’s currently having a pretty rough go of it, but I really love thinking about her “private” life outside of Warband stuff - she gets into tussles, makes jewelry, all sorts of exciting things! :3c Sela’s name comes from, shocker, the Greek moon goddess Selene, while Lunarstep has changed a bit over the years. Originally, she was a shadowstep thief build, which is where the Lunarstep came from, but now it’s more of a... she’s always at the front of the pack, leading the charge, sort of deal. :p

💥 Are there any emotions your OC doesn’t know how to deal with, doesn’t understand or hates having to feel? Any reason behind this?

Sela is garbage at dealing with anything related to her own vulnerabilities and weaknesses, aha. She’s built up this huge facade of bravado that fixates on her being the perfect soldier and the best Legionnaire and so she has a huuuuge amount of trouble asking for (or accepting) help, or admitting that she can’t do something. Vulnerability is a big no-no and so naturally, although she does well with the more maternal relationships within her Warband, she really struggles with anything that veers towards the romantic. As far as hating to feel something, she hates to be embarrassed or humiliated, again related to her own pride and confidence.

☀️ How well does your OC take care of themself? Do they tend to put others before their own wellbeing and if so how often? What is their favourite way to pamper themself?

I’d say that she does a pretty good job of taking care of herself, but she absolutely puts others before herself. She prides herself on taking care of her warband and spoiling them and that often translates to making sure they get the lion’s share of the goodies while she scrimps. That said, she does have enough of an ego to feel that she “deserves” the good stuff, so she generally takes care of her own needs pretty well. Except sleep.

🌙 What are some of your OC’s favourites? Favourite food, colour, season, stuff like that! Give some general simple facts that tend to get overlooked!

Hmmm, stuff that’s overlooked... well, her favourite colour would be purple, season would be fall (she likes the milder weather and really enjoys the autumn leaves), flavorwise she loves spicy things (honestly, just because she’s trying to show off and be tough) as well as deep rich flavours... More obscure stuff might be: Her favourite time of day is late night, favourite bunk is the bottom one, favourite horn is her upper right one, favourite instrument would be the flute (she tends to prefer her music in the higher ranges - piccolo’s up there too!), and favourite cheese would be a nice heady parmesan.

🌺 What additions would your OC make to their body if they could? Lets say, if they don’t have a tail would they want one? Wings? Horns? Do they wish they could shapeshift?

Sela’s pretty happy with her body as it is, but there’s definitely a few changes she’d make. As much as they’d get in the way, she kinda wants bigger horns, and definitely bigger teeth. She’d love to be even more flexible than she is, and she’d like some extra muscle and definition to her legs. Wings would be nice, but definitely not all the time. Shapeshifting, of course! That would come in so handy!

Graf Towercleave (Yes, he still counts >.> ):

Ah, Graf, my old man... Graf is definitely one of those characters with the most fleshed-out backstories, especially in how it affects him nowadays, and all the traumas and memories that come with it. I don’t remember the inspiration for his first name, but the second part was because he was originally designed to be a WvW Firebrand in his off-time (which... never came to fruition, oops), so Towercleave. I’m really excited to see the next step in his journey, though it coincides with my own journey in such a way that I do find myself getting emotional about the good-byes... ;w;

💥 Are there any emotions your OC doesn’t know how to deal with, doesn’t understand or hates having to feel? Any reason behind this?

I’d say that Graf doesn’t really do well with a lot of the “non-Charr” emotions/feelings: any sort of romance, faith, or selfishness. He’s learned to deal with them in others, to be sure, but they’re still fairly alien to him. I’d say that as far as things he experiences that he struggles with, it would be the trauma of his past - whether it’s something that he experienced in the Sieges, or in his time with the Vigil, he... doesn’t do well with being “scared”, or not in control.

☀️ How well does your OC take care of themself? Do they tend to put others before their own wellbeing and if so how often? What is their favourite way to pamper themself?

He does good at taking care of himself, though perhaps a bit more spartan than is strictly necessary, because that’s what he’s used to. He’s been a soldier his whole life, through and through, and he knows how important maintaining his equipment, including his body, is. He does a good job at keeping himself in shape and healthy, though perhaps to a detriment of not allowing himself many luxuries (except for warm baths, those are always welcome). Although he does consider others, he usually tends to leave them to their own devices, except when he decides they’re too young/naive/bullheaded to do it properly, such as a certain blue-haired warbandmate.

🌙 What are some of your OC’s favourites? Favourite food, colour, season, stuff like that! Give some general simple facts that tend to get overlooked!

Favourite food would be some good old traditional charr chow. Grilled meat, lots of special sauce, no fancy frou-frou to mess with it. Maybe some cheese. As far as colours, although most of his life tends to be filled with red, he’ll admit to liking a nice deep dark navy blue the best. The sea has been a rare treat for him, and he enjoys it when he can. Favourite season would have to be winter. Although he doesn’t care for the snow and cold and slush, he likes the way it makes the world slow down. He likes that everyone hates it together, I suppose. Some more obscure ones... his favourite flavour of pie is strawberry, his favourite place was a small grove in what is now the Dragonbrand - nowadays, it’s probably the Hero’s Canton, because it has the most nice memories without bad ones to taint it.

🌺 What additions would your OC make to their body if they could? Lets say, if they don’t have a tail would they want one? Wings? Horns? Do they wish they could shapeshift?

Honestly, he’d mostly just... fix his current one. Make it less old, less achy, less stiff. Shapeshifting and the rest of it sounds like a lot of faff. He wishes he had a third set of ears so he could hear humans better. Maybe another pair of arms to hold more things.

Naphtha Seizetar:

But I ramble about her so muuuuch, FINE. For any newcomers, Naphtha was originally a villain in a Lunar plot that met a gruesome end, but I loved the concept so much that I had to remake her (a sort of AU, what-if-her-life-turned-out-different) as a good girl. I’ve actually got a sort of spooky story in the works with her (and at the rate I’m going it might be spooky season before it’s ever finished) that’s going to give her a bit of development with her magic because right now the poor girl is a dummy and would rather play with pressure cookers.

💥 Are there any emotions your OC doesn’t know how to deal with, doesn’t understand or hates having to feel? Any reason behind this?

A lot of them, probably. Naph is a sweetie but she doesn’t do well with a lot of “serious” things. She likes being left alone to her own devices and is still getting the hang of the much-more teamwork oriented Seize group. So I guess emotionally, uh, things like teamwork and codependence and responsibility, whatever emotions those are. As far as hates feeling, she really doesn’t like feeling like she’s wrong (ironically). She doesn’t like feeling like she’s being irrational, or that she’s not justified in what she’s doing.

☀️ How well does your OC take care of themself? Do they tend to put others before their own wellbeing and if so how often? What is their favourite way to pamper themself?

She does not. Naph is the kind of gal that would go weeks without showering, live off of corn chips and stale marshmallows she found under the couch, and develop a 12 coffee a day habit so she only has to sleep once a month. Naph does not take very good care of herself at all, and she takes care of others even less. She’s not necessarily inconsiderate, she just... as above, doesn’t do well with the whole teamwork thing and kind of figures that she can take care of herself, so everyone else can too. As far as pampering herself, she rarely goes above what’s “necessary” as far as self-care, but on the rare occasion that she did decide to treat herself, she’d get a lot of fancy soaps and oils and just... go to town on her fur and spend like a whole day grooming and scrubbing and getting the years of grime out of there until she’s as soft and fluffy as can be.

Favourite food would be mushroom anything. Probably her favorite ever is something she had in Lion’s Arch one time, some sort of pasta dish with mushrooms and squid ink - it was salty and savory and rich... Her favourite colour would be brown (well, she’d say black but as far as actual COLOURS), and her favourite season would be fall. She likes the spoopy season, and enjoys cronching the leaves. More uncommon things, her favourite shape is octagon, her favorite simple machine is the screw, and her favorite animal is the carrion devourer.

🌺 What additions would your OC make to their body if they could? Lets say, if they don’t have a tail would they want one? Wings? Horns? Do they wish they could shapeshift?

She would absolutely go all out and give herself big ol’ bat wings and like 3 more sets of horns and huuuuge fangs and way bigger claws and a pointy tail and SPIKES and probably a third eye on her forehead... heck yeah.

Ahhh, Elda. I included her mostly because I wanted to talk about her and also she’s sort of gotten sucked into a few open-ish things lately so she totally counts >.> She’s another NPC-turned-character from Lunar’s Drizzlewood plot, this time a generic helper NPC that was supposed to get killed off but Lunar actually did well enough that she survived, and helped them through the final fight. Aesthetically, she’s actually based off of the Pokemon Obstagoon, which is where her last name comes from as well. Sort of. I’ve honestly had the idea for a Blood engineer in the back of my mind for years now and Elda is absolutely not that! She’s not at all what I would have made had I set out originally to make a Blood engineer, but I love her anyways and I’m really enjoying her.

💥 Are there any emotions your OC doesn’t know how to deal with, doesn’t understand or hates having to feel? Any reason behind this?

Elda hates feeling loneliness. She doesn’t mind being alone, and she can handle that just fine - she likes her private time to tinker or work on projects or test the latest whatever, and she probably does better on her own anyways, but she... needs to know that there’s people there for her if she wants/needs. She doesn’t like being isolated. As far as stuff that she doesn’t know how to deal with, probably regret? She’s so far operated on a kind of “live hard die young” sort of deal (and she almost did, dohohoho) and so when missed opportunities or regrets jump out at her, she’s not really sure what to do about it. It never spurs her to action so she’s kind of just left there staring at it like “so... what now?” and it kind of shuts down her whole mojo for a long time.

☀️ How well does your OC take care of themself? Do they tend to put others before their own wellbeing and if so how often? What is their favourite way to pamper themself?

Elda takes decent enough care of herself. Not exemplary (she’s not out here practicing yoga or getting enough fiber) but well enough! She eats regularly and gets enough sleep and bathes often, so she’s doing pretty good! Although she doesn’t regularly put anyone above herself, she would do it for certain people, like her friends or family. She values them and their role in her life enough that she’s willing to self-sacrifice to make them happy and keep them around. When she does want to treat herself, she tends to splurge a little on some shiny new tool or toy, often with the excuse that it’s for work and it’ll help her be more productive, but she knows that it’s just because it’s bigger and shinier and has an extra spanner or something.

Her favourite food would probably be things that are kind of finicky and interactive, so poultry wings, or artichoke, or shellfish. She’s not really picky about flavours, though of course she likes things meaty. Her favourite colour is obviously red, though she’ll admit to a fondness for pink as well. She never understood why humans attach so much meaning to it - pink’s cool. Her favourite season is definitely summer - she likes the clear skies, the bright weather... More random stuff! Her favourite Bop-It command is Twist It, her favourite style of soda pop (if such a thing exists in Tyria, I dunno) is Dr. Pepper, her favourite sport is wrestling, and her favorite piece of clothing is her belt buckle, which is made from the melted down remains of her first gun.

🌺 What additions would your OC make to their body if they could? Lets say, if they don’t have a tail would they want one? Wings? Horns? Do they wish they could shapeshift?

Elda’s pretty happy with how she is, but given her choices, she’d like to be quite a bit taller and a bit bulkier. She wishes her teeth were a bit pointier, and she always wished she could grow a longer mane - she wants to have a big spiky mohawk too. As nice as wings or shapeshifting would be, it seems like having too many things would just get in the way.

BASICS

1. What’s their full name?

Lorna Astriddottir.

2. What does their name mean? Why were they named that?

Her name doesn’t mean anything special. Just Lorna the daughter of Astrid. Regular norn stuff.

3. Do they have any nicknames?

Lorna von Kodash when she wants to sound a little more epic. She made that name up when she was a kid and didn’t even know where or what Kodash was. She read it somewhere and thought “well that sounds cool”

4. How old are they?

28 or so

5. When’s their birthday?

somewhere in winter, close after wintersday. She says she gets less presents because of that

6.What’s their zodiac sign/element/birthstone/etc.? Do they believe that holds any significance?

I don’t know much about that, so I’m gonna extend that to her and say she doesn’t really think about it.

7. What’s their species/subspecies? Do they have any special/magical abilities?

She’s a Norn, coming from a long line of Owl shamans. She thinks that is why she can’t transform, but its a little more complicated.

8. What “class” do they belong to (for fantasy characters)? If none, what weapon do they favor?

She’s a necromancer, mostly fighting with a big ass greatsword. And when I say bigass I mean it. The sword as a whole is about as tall as she is, so the blade is about 3 m long.

APPEARANCE

1. What do they look like?

Note how big that sword is? Lorna is 3 and a half metres tall (that’s 11′5′’). I hc norn to be taller than they are in game so they are a little more like giants so she isn’t astronomically taller than everyone but she is still very tall for a norn. She’s also buff as hell. She will stomp you and spit in your eyeeeeee.

She makes a point of casually wearing plate armor to show how strong she is. The rest of the time she wears her robes from the necromancy academy. Her hair is most often braided back, though she changes the pattern often. Makeup wise... excentric and playing off her tatoos.

4. How do they carry themselves? What’s their default expression?

Lorna knows she is intimidating and she revels in the feeling. She’ll stand to her tallest, look expressionless into your eyes and watch you melt into a scared puddle under her gaze.

With friends she is a lot more relaxed though and actually laughs a lot. She still doesn’t smile much though.

5. Do they have any physical ailments or disabilities?

She sometimes accidentally turnes swearing into harmfull magic, but that’s mostly under controll now.

PERSONALITY

1.What’s their alignment?

Chaotic Good

2. Which one of the 16 Personality Types do they fit into?

No clue about those

3. What are their hobbies and interests? Do they have any particular “favorites” (food, books, and so on)?

She does enjoy hunting, usually with daggers becaues if she uses her swords it’s an unfair fight for the boar. She plays DnD with her cousins when she is staying with them and is an excellent kegbrawl player. She does read sometimes, mostly bad romance novels. The more predictable the better.

4. What are they bad at?

Cooking that is more complicated that holding something over fire. She has in her life not once produced a meal that was properly seasoned and is not allowed near the salt box.

5. What kind of things do they dislike/hate?

Jokes about her height.

6. Do they have any vices/addictions/mental illnesses?

7. What are their goals and motivations?

She wants to get into complete controll of her magic swearing, but other than that she doesn’t have any big goals in life.

Theoretically she knows how to act well mannered. However she elects to be obnoxious because she knows people are too afraid to tell her off.

9. What are they most afraid of?

Being alone. As much as she plays the untouchable loner she values her friends greatly.

BACKGROUND

1. Where were they born? What was their childhood like?

Lorna was born in Hoelbrak, where her parents lived most of year. Her parents died when she was very little though, and she was raised by her uncles. She spent a lot of time with the Akis and Dak’s sisters.

2. What’s their family like?

Her parents were owl devotees, by tradition from her mothers side, and her father kind of picked it up because of her mother. They were very caring until they died. Her aunts and uncles are a wild bunch. The Akis are sibling grade cousins and obviously very nice people to be around.

3. What factions or organizations are they a part of? What ranks and titles do they hold?

She’s a Scientica at the Thule Academy of Thanatology (My dad’s necromancer school rp guild) which means she is in the third semester.

In the Family Kegbrawl Team she plays as a brawler and has 14 year streak in getting the highest points for a single player.

4. How do they fit into their “story”?

Most of her personality developed through and around the academy rp. Her magic swearing for example was introduced as a reason why she would want to go there in the first place. Now that the guild isn’t active anymore she is part of my wholesome group of Akis and friends for when I want to think about happy people being happy.

5. Where do they currently live? What’s their place like?

Lorna doesn’t have a place of her own. She mostly stays with the Akis in their homestead or stays at the hunters lodge in queensdale for the school year.

6. How do they eventually die?

no plan yet

RELATIONSHIPS

1. Do they have any friends? Would they consider anyone to be their best friend?

The Akis are definitely not only family but also friends, and she is friends with a few of her classmates. You could count Era and Cap but they are more friends of friends to her.

2. What’s their friend group like? What role do they play in it?

3. What’s their love life like? (See also: ship question meme.) Do they have any kids?

no significant other, no kids.

4. Who do they look up to? Who do they trust?

Her Jotun historian great uncle who for most of her life was the coolest person she ever met, and if she hadn’t met Knut Whitebear one time.

5. Who do they hate? Do they have any enemies?

I don’t think Lorna hates any specific person, but she has a deep and powerful hatred for the svarnir because of her parents.

6. Do they have any pets?

no pets

7. Are they good with kids? Animals?

Lorna is okay with kids, others admire her for how much she can keep up with the energetic little ones without getting tired. She doesn’t particualarly enjoy it but she just can’t say no when they want to play.

With animals sually yes, though she doesn’t like animals that are close to her size or even bigger than her. She isn’t used to it finds it intimidating.

FUN FACTS

1. Which tropes do they fit? Which archetypes?

She’s the Loner that isn’t actually alone just plays that mysterious aura.

2. Do they play any instruments? Sports?

She can play drums :D And yeah as said above she is a good kegbrawl player.

3. What are some items they always carry?

She has a chak claw that is made to be a continer for life force, so that she doesn’t actively hold onto some all the time. It was the first thing she had to craft in the academy. She also carries around a small owl feather in a locket for good luck.

4. Do they collect anything?

The only thing you could say she collects are insults. She knows quite a lot of those.

5. What position do they sleep in?

Curled up because most beds are too small for her. The guest bed at the Akis’ homestead is theoretically big enough for her, but she is so used curling by now she never uses the full length.

6. Which emoji would they use the most?

7. What languages do they speak?

Common, the Norns’ own language (with a pronounciation/word selection that sounds old), a bit of jotunn.

8. What’s their favorite expletive?

(I’m gonna lift this one straight from myself because it kinda fits and Lorna is a bit self inserty anyways) most used is something simple. Fuck and shit in comparable amounts. Her favourite though is “blood and ash!” (which may or may not be the expletive of choice in the wheel of time)

Can’t come up with one right now, but I’ve never been big on the connecting ocs with music thing.

You know how cats roam around alone but actually are group animals that raise their kittens together and stuff? That’s lorna.

She’d be with the emos for sure.

Aliens and Ghosts are both a thing in tyria. I don’t know of any instance of reincarnation but our collection of immortals and sentient zombies makes up for that. So yeah she believes in those.

As for like tyrian cryptids or unprecedented and absurd supernatural happenings she isn’t big on those.

15. Do they follow any religions/gods? Do they celebrate holidays?

She’s a norn and does the norn things.

Why can't I hold all these cool stories?

CURRENT CRAVINGS: Please see this GDoc, because I have some plots I’d like to try! I’m primarily interested in original plots and characters; setting them in original worlds or fandom worlds is fine. I am not interested in playing canons other than as side characters/world filler as of right now.

PERSONAL PREFERENCES

I’m over eighteen, and would prefer my partners are, too. This doesn’t mean I’m interested in NSFW-heavy plots; I do not write smut. It just means I’m more comfortable writing and interacting with other adults.

I consider myself to be lit-adv. I tend to enjoy partners in the lit+ category, but as long as you’re an enthusiastic and engaging partner, I don’t care about perfect grammar. I would rather write with someone just as involved and excited as I am, than I would with someone who isn't very engaging but knows exactly what to do with obscure punctuation.

I’m not interested in playing only one type of character or playing against only one type of character. I typically don’t enjoy writing with people who are only interested in playing one type of relationship dynamic or one kind of character (such as only m/f, playing the female, or m/m, playing the “bottom”). I have no problem with these dynamics or characters at all, nor do I have an issue playing against them. I just prefer more variety, compromise, and opportunity.

OOC chatter is really important to me. I can’t write with someone that I don’t feel like I can get to know. I’m looking for friends, not a faceless reply robot. I won’t communicate over any medium but Discord. I've tried Kik, Hangouts, etc.; they just don't stick for me. If you would prefer first contact be through email, you can shoot me a quick message and your handle to [email protected].

I’m fine with threading in a GDoc or a server, but I will not thread over DMs. It’s difficult to have OOC chatter and the thread over the top of each other.

If you're looking for a partner that writes a reply a day without fail, that's not me. I prefer that we don't have "posting schedules” or set posting times, because I find that it turns writing into a chore. It's great if you reply immediately, and it's totally okay if you need a week to figure something out! You’re absolutely free to poke me. I’m not always the most mindful. However, I’m not going to reply every day. Three to four times a week is my frequency.

PLOT PREFERENCES

I’m interested in both fandom and original settings, and I’m down for playing both canon characters and OCs. I don’t necessarily prefer one or the other.

I definitely prefer canon doubling from my partners in fandom plots; I mesh better with people who do a little give-and-take when it comes to that. If you only play one canon character or only play OCs against canons and won’t play canons, I don’t think we’ll work.

I can play as many characters as needed, whether it's just one or it's six. Whatever our story calls for, I can manage that. In fact, I would love to play multiple “main” pairings so we can both get what we want, versus a single main pairing (unless it’s a pairing/dynamic we both like equally well). I find more than one facet to a plot really interesting, and multiple characters helps flesh out a story’s dimensions.

I’m absolutely interested in joining groups, so please don’t be shy about asking me to participate in plots with more than two players. So long as they don’t involve me writing sexual NSFW, we’re Gucci; everyone else writing NSFW isn’t a deal breaker for me.

Multiple threads and plots at the same time are no issue for me. In fact, I love the idea that we click so well that we just can't stop coming up with good ideas! So definitely don't be afraid to pitch something new to me, whether it's because you want to switch gears (and drop a thread for another), or want to do everything at once.

Romance is a must for me! I prefer slow and agonizing journeys to get there, but my attention is best held by romantic chemistry between characters.

I can provide writing samples upon request, though I never require them from my partner. Additionally, I have some plots written out if you're interested in that sort of thing. Otherwise, we can brainstorm together!

FANDOMS

I’m very much a fandom player. I’m always down for AUs, or inserting our own characters into the plots of fandoms! This is in no way a complete list; never be afraid to ask if I’m into something! I’ve probably forgotten a hundred things I love.

Most of my fandoms will have favorite canon characters listed with them, both who I like playing and playing against; you’re always welcome to ask about others not listed.* There’s a good chance I’m pretty good with them!

*I will play OCs in every fandom, but I might not play canons in every fandom.

ALWAYS

The Bartimaeus Trilogy (Nathaniel, Kitty Jones, and Bartimaeus), DC (any Titan, Jinx, Arthur Curry, Steve Trevor, Circe, and Diana Prince), Elder Scrolls (player canons and/or OCs preferred, but feel free to ask about canons), Fallout: New Vegas and 4 (Arcade Gannon, Paladin Danse, R.J. PERSONAL PREFERENCES

I consider myself to be lit-adv. I tend to enjoy partners in the lit+ category, but as long as you’re an enthusiastic and engaging partner, I don’t care about perfect grammar. I would rather write with someone just as involved and excited as I am, than I would with someone who isn’t very engaging but knows exactly what to do with obscure punctuation.

OOC chatter is really important to me. I can’t write with someone that I don’t feel like I can get to know. I’m looking for friends, not a faceless reply robot. I won’t communicate over any medium but Discord. I’ve tried Kik, Hangouts, etc.; they just don’t stick for me. If you would prefer first contact be through email, you can shoot me a quick message and your handle to [email protected].

I’m fine with threading in a GDoc or a server, but I will not thread over DMs. It’s difficult to have OOC chatter and the thread over the top of each other.

If you’re looking for a partner that writes a reply a day without fail, that’s not me. I prefer that we don’t have “posting schedules” or set posting times, because I find that it turns writing into a chore. It’s great if you reply immediately, and it’s totally okay if you need a week to figure something out! You’re absolutely free to poke me. I’m not always the most mindful. However, I’m not going to reply every day. Three to four times a week is my frequency.

PLOT PREFERENCES

I’m interested in both fandom and original settings, and I’m down for playing both canon characters and OCs. I don’t necessarily prefer one or the other.

I can play as many characters as needed, whether it’s just one or it’s six. Whatever our story calls for, I can manage that. In fact, I would love to play multiple “main” pairings so we can both get what we want, versus a single main pairing (unless it’s a pairing/dynamic we both like equally well). I find more than one facet to a plot really interesting, and multiple characters helps flesh out a story’s dimensions.

Multiple threads and plots at the same time are no issue for me. In fact, I love the idea that we click so well that we just can’t stop coming up with good ideas! So definitely don’t be afraid to pitch something new to me, whether it’s because you want to switch gears (and drop a thread for another), or want to do everything at once.

Romance is a must for me! I prefer slow and agonizing journeys to get there, but my attention is best held by romantic chemistry between characters.

I can provide writing samples upon request, though I never require them from my partner. Additionally, I have some plots written out if you’re interested in that sort of thing. Otherwise, we can brainstorm together!

Greaser Serpents | Part 1

A/N: Currently, I am infatuated with Sweet Pea from Riverdale and I have no clue why since he wasn’t in season 3 that much (also season 3 sucked, just saying), but I can’t seem to get this Serpent out of my head, so I decided, why not start writing imagines and one shots and fanfics about him? So, since I would LOVE to see Riverdale do Grease, I decided to write a mini-series myself. Where OC Luna Simmons, a clean-cut, dutiful Northsider is cast in the school musical as Sandy and the loyal, Northside-hating Serpent is cast as Danny. Somewhere between all the hate between the two, suddenly grows a little love too.

“I’m directing Grease for this year’s musical,” announces Kevin when they’re all sat in the lounge together before classes start. They all look up at him, a small smile playing on each of their lips. Between all the chaos of the black hood and the red circle and everything with Hiram Lodge, the gang could use some good news. Something to focus on outside of the drama. “I so love you for that,” Luna says with a wide smile plastered on her face. Luna Simmons isn’t new to the gang. She’s lived in Riverdale from the day she was born, next door to the Coopers on Elm Street. She’s been through everything with these kids: Jason Blossom’s murder last year, Veronica joining the gang, the drugs going around, the Sugarman, the Black Hood. And now, when Southside High School has been closed down and Jughead is back at Riverdale High, so are some other troublemakers. To say she can’t stand most of the Serpents is the understatement of the year. Toni Topaz is the only one she can stand. The pinkhaired lady greets her in the hallways, and they sit together in English class. But for some reason, she really cannot stand Sweet Pea nor Fangs. They seem too aggressive for her liking. They always need to solve every problem with violence, and it’s just not Luna’s forte. Musicals, however, and especially Grease, is her forte. “When are auditions?” Betty asks her best friend. “No auditions needed, just tell me who you want to play, and I’ll think about it,” Kevin replies, knowing how talented all of his friends are. “The Serpents are doing sets and decor, Toni is doing choreography,” he explains further, sending a shiver down Luna’s spine just thinking about working with the Serpents. “Per Weatherbee’s orders, I assume?” Veronica retorts. A chuckle erupts from Luna’s body. Kevin nods his head while scrunching up his nose. “Oh yeah,” he replies. Luna already thinks about what she’s going to do when she’s playing either Marty or Frenchy. Because, let’s face it, she won’t get the role of Sandy. That one has Betty Cooper written all over it. But Luna would be grateful to play an iconic character like Marty or Frenchy.

“Patty Simcox? Who the hell is Patty Simcox?” Cheryl screams when she sees the character line-up for the musical Kevin had posted on Monday morning. Luna, who just happened to pass by when Cheryl cried out, decides to take a look, just to see whether she got the role of Marty or Frenchy. But, when her eyes fall upon the top of the page where her name is written behind SANDY. Her eyes widen before they glance down to DANNY. Upon seeing the name of Sweet Pea, her stomach churns and her face heats up to the point of nearly exploding. She rips the paper off the board and storms into the lounge where she finds Kevin, Betty and Jughead on the sofas. “I THOUGHT THE SERPENTS ONLY HELPED WITH SETS?!” she screams at the director, pushing the paper into his chest aggressively. “You know I can’t stand them, Kev, and you still paired me up with fucking Sweet Pea of all people!” she paces the room in a petty rage, instead of being happy she got a leading role. “Listen, Lunes, I lacked a couple of actors and let’s be honest, Sweet Pea would be a perfect Danny,” Kevin reasons with her, staying calm. “Kevin is right, Luna,” Betty agrees with him and Luna stops in her tracks to look at the girl-next-door. “Sweet Pea would be one hell of a Danny.” Just at that moment, Sweet Pea and Fangs enter the lounge too, stopping upon hearing the Serpent’s name. Luna makes eye contact with him, suddenly seeing him as Danny. Fuck, he would be a great Danny. “Wait, what?” the boy asks, tilting his head a little. “I casted you as Danny for the musical,” Kevin tells him and stands up to hand him the paper, “But since our Sandy over there ripped off the paper in a rage, no one really knows,” he points at Luna, glaring at her for a second. “I’m not playing in a fucking musical,” Sweet Pea snarls, pushing the paper back into the director’s arms. “I said I would work on sets, not actually play in your stupid play.” the boy growls and walks over to the vending machine for a snack. “It’s either this or being suspended, Sweet Pea,” Jughead warns him from his spot on the couch next to his girlfriend. “Fine,” Sweet Pea growls, “But I’m not rehearsing any shit with her,” it sounds bitter coming from his mouth as he sends a glare towards Luna. “The feeling’s mutual, dickhead,” Luna snarls before grabbing her bag and leaving the lounge, leaving her friends behind, still enraged. “I can’t believe that prick,” she mutters as she passes Toni in the hallway who just happened to pick up on that. She enters the lounge, finding the others, still a little agitated about what had just happened. “Did a bomb explode here, or what did I miss?” she asks them with a chuckle. “Sweet Pea landed the role of Danny Zuko,” Fangs explains with a proud smile and a proud pat on his best friend’s back, only to get a glare in return. “I thought Serpents were only doing sets?” Toni asks, grabbing the character sheet from Kevin to see if she landed a role too. “I lacked some actors, okay? I had no other choice,” Kevin answers, getting annoyed by everyone’s reactions to him enrolling some Serpents too. “I’m playing Frenchy?” Toni asks, her eyes sparkling, “Dude, she’s iconic! Thank you!” that was the first grateful response he’s had since he posted the cast list. “Did you give me a role too?” Fangs asks, grabbing the sheet from Toni. “You’re Sonny,” Kevin replies with a little smile. “Because I’m tiny?” Fangs asks, raising an eyebrow. Kevin opens his mouth, wanting to say something, but Fangs beat him to it, “I’m kidding, bro. Thanks!” he gives Kevin a toothy smile before handing him back the sheet. “When’s the first rehearsal?” Betty asks. “Tomorrow after school. I hope to see you all at the auditorium at four,” he says when the bell rings, signaling class will start soon. All of them scatter to their classes after bidding brief goodbyes. Some more genuine than the other. This is going to be interesting.

“Okay, Summer Nights from the top!” Kevin says from his spot in the audience with his script in front of him. Neither Sweet Pea nor Luna are happy to be there, but at least they’re doing what Kevin asks of them. “So, what you do this summer, Sandy?” Toni asks as her character while the instrumental begins to play already. “Oh, I spent most of it at the beach. I met a boy there,” Luna says her line without gagging at the thought of that boy being Sweet Pea. “You hauled all your cookies to the beach for some guy?” Veronica asks as Rizzo. The attitude and the sass match Veronica’s actual, real-life quirks. “Aw, he was sort of special,” Luna replies with a little smile, acting like she actually likes the guy she’s talking about. In her mind, she was scoffing at herself. Sweet Pea? Special? No way. He was just some plain, aggressive boy that thinks he could intimidate girls with his tough looks. “Please,” Veronica hauls Luna from her thoughts, “There ain’t no such thing.” “Oh, you haven’t met this boy. It was really romantic,” she turns to Toni who had come to sit next to her, hitting her marks Kevin had given her perfectly. “Woah, woah,” Sweet Pea then goes as Danny when it’s his turn on the other side of the stage, “You guys really want to hear all the horny details,” Luna rolls her eyes at him absentmindedly, earning a giggle from Toni and a glare from Kevin. The boys surrounding Sweet Pea all cheer. Luna nearly vomits as she hears them speak, until the Serpent begins to sing his part. That’s when she internally melts. His voice sounds like Elvis Presley’s voice. Rough and sultry, causing her toes to tingle. “Summer lovin’, had me a blast,” “Summer lovin’, happened so fast,” Luna sings in time, shaking herself out of her gross thoughts. His voice might charm her, but him as a person certainly doesn’t. “Met a girl, crazy for me,” “Met a boy, cute as can be,” she gets up from her chair now. Her knees nearly giving away as the two harmonize at the next part. “Summer days drifting away to uh all the summer nights,” they sound so good together. Kevin is proud of himself for casting those to as main characters. “Tell me more, tell me more,” the girls sing together while doing the choreography Toni had taught them in earlier rehearsals. “Like does he have a car?” Betty sings as Marty, her voice sounding better than ever. Maybe Betty would be a better Marty than Luna ever could be. Maybe she should be happy with the role she got. And to be fair, even doing this number all week long is actually fun. Seeing it come all together, becoming better and better every day they rehearsed. It’s something Luna could’ve only ever dreamed about. Hell, she dreamed about being Sandy all her life since she first saw the old movie classic with Betty when they were younger. The music slows down as the cast is nearing the end of the song, Luna hops off the table she was sitting on and Sweet Pea gets off the stands he and the boys were dancing on. “It turned colder, that’s where it ends,” Luna sings softly, her voice sending shivers down Kevin’s spine as he smiles up at her, proud of his friend. “So, I told her, we’d still be friends,” “Then we made our true love vows.” “Wonder what she’s doing now,” Sweet Pea sings, looking out into the distance. “Summer dreams, ripped at the seams, but ... oh... Those summer...” both sing together, harmonizing perfectly and then even hitting the high note perfectly. “Niiiiiiiights”. Luna wraps her arms around herself, panting a little after using most of her breath intake for that one note. Kevin’s applause rips her out of her thoughts, and she glances over at Sweet Pea, who’s already looking at her with a soft smile on his face. “That was amazing, you guys! Chills, literal chills!” Kevin says from his spot. “Let’s take that from the top one more time!” and they did. They rehearse that exact scene for a couple more hours until Kevin finally calls it a day. The entire cast is exhausted from all the dancing, but they’re quite chuffed with themselves as it sounds better each and every time. “Hey,” a voice makes Luna snap out of her thoughts as she’s packing up her stuff. She looks up to find Sweet Pea standing in front of her. In place of that intimidating glare he always put on, he now has a sweet, tender smile on his face and his eyes look a little lighter for once. A little less dark. “Just wanted to tell you that you did a really great job,” he compliments, stunning her a little. She didn’t expect that. Not from him anyways. Not at all. Luna Simmons is at a loss for words all at once. Only from one simple glance and one simple compliment. “T-Thanks,” she stutters, “Uhm, you too, Sweet Pea,” she fires back with a little, confused smile. The boy in front of her chuckles, his eyes glancing at the hardwood floor beneath their feet for a split second before looking up to her again. “Maybe we should uhm, you know, rehearse together sometime,” he suggests, pointing his script at her in an awkward and weird way. At least she’s not the only one feeling awkward about this entire interaction. She looks at him for a moment; did he really just ask her that? “Uhm, yeah, sure,” she replies, her eyebrows tugging together for a moment in confusion. “See you around, Zuko,” she bids her goodbyes with a little smirk at the nickname. Sweet Pea laughs lightly, causing Luna’s stomach to flutter for some bizarre reason. She turns around to walk away from the boy and finally head home. She’s ready for a hot bath and a good chick-flick. Maybe she should watch Grease tonight. “See you around, Sandy,” Sweet Pea calls behind her. Yep, she should definitely watch Grease tonight. She casts one last glance to her co-cast member before exiting the auditorium, excited for the next rehearsal with him. And maybe, just maybe, she should take him up on the offer to rehearse together. The boy doesn’t seem that bad after all.

12/12/12 tagging game

I was tagged in this challenge a long time ago by @writingiswilde and nevrer did it (even though i swear i meant to) because i could never decide which character i wanted to do. Anyway. It’s a challenge where you answer 12 questions as a OC and tag 12 people to do it too. I personally do not have 12 people to tag because my blog is currently weee little small. So I’ll just answer the questions @writingiswilde provided me with and make up some at the bottom. If ANYONE sees this and you wanna answer my questions do it and tag me in it. I would love to follow. Anyway.

I will be answering from the point of view of an OC named Dylan from an unfinished and untitled work that I have had going with a friend for about six years now.

1. Are you an optimist or a pessimist?

I am both. I know that’s kind of a cop out answer, but it really is how I see myself. I’ve had some fucked up shit happen to me in my life, so obviously my immediate reaction at all times is “this shit can’t go right for me.” But some things have. Like my brother who rescued me from my trash life. My amazing girlfriend who gave me a reason to live and saved me from myself. My beautiful daughter who gave me a reason to better myself to show her that anything is possible. So yeah. Some shit goes wrong for me. But some shit goes right for me. I try to think about both. If you’re ready for the bad shit but have an open mind for the good, then you can’t be caught off guard. I dont know. Maybe that didn’t make much sense.

2. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

That’s a big question, man. I don’t know. I have a lot of crap going on. But I guess it would probably be my tendency to build up a wall and then be a dick to anyone that tries to break it down. I have hurt a lot of very important feelings when I get closed off. My girlfriend deals with an awful lot of harsh comments when she’s only trying to help me. That’s the thing she really doesn’t like about me, so that’s what I really wanna change. I wanna make her happy, ya know.

3. What’s your biggest pet peeve and why?

I fucking hate- like literally cannot stand- when people try to get attention for a mental issue. Like, yeah, I get that they’re real. I got at least three. Maybe seventy. I got the scars to prove it. But it’s not something to use as an attention grabbing beacon or to make people feel bad for you. No, don’t be ashamed about it, but also don’t wear it like a badge of honor that you got saving a newborn from a fire. I don’t know. Maybe that’s just because I like to push my own issues to the back burner. And sometimes it makes me feel like other people think theirs is worse than anyone else’s. Anyway. Does that answer the question? I didn’t mean to get off on a rant.

4. Who’s your best friend and what are they like?

I have two best friends that come to mind immediately. My girlfriend is one, obviously. And my brother is the other. My girlfriend is beautiful, man. She’s really great. She’s always there when I need a laugh or a hug or to be told I’m acting stupid. Anyway. There’s way too much to say about her. I would be talking for hours. My brother. He always tells me what to do when I don’t know what to do. And I usually never know what to do. Anything from- I don’t know- writing a check to what flowers to get my girlfriend after she gave literal birth to our child. Anyway. They’re both great and I don’t know what I’d do without either of them.

5. What advice would you give your younger self?

Just hang in there, man. I know it sucks. I know it’s hard. Don’t give up on yourself and for the love of God, don’t steal the pills. It’s not worth it and it doesn’t help anything. Just enjoy the time you have left with your mom and don’t try to numb the loss before it gets to you. You’ll want to remember it in the future.

6. What’s your best childhood memory? Worst?

My best memory was when I was seven. My birthday, actually. My mom took that day off work. It was my only birthday that I remember until I was like fifteen that I didn’t spend at the diner with her while she waited tables. I don’t know why she took that day off, but she took me to the movies and we got ice cream. Then she let me sleep in the bed with her that night, which was something I never got to do. She had this thing about me sleeping in my own bed. Anyway. Worst. Um- does sixteen count as childhood? Because that’s when my mom was diagnosed with cancer. I think the day that we found out was worse than the day she actually died. She cried most of the day but it was just because she was scared of what would happen to me after she was gone. I had never seen my mom cry before that day. It uh- it sucked. Yeah. Can we move on ?

7. Do you believe in love at first sight?

At first sight? No. After first conversation? Yes. I knew from the first time I talked to my girlfriend that I would love her forever. To be completely honest, I didn’t really notice how pretty she was. I didn’t really think about it she just kind of looked ordinary to me. Don’t tell her I said that. Anyway. I was in a really shit place when I met her for the first time and I just remember it being a bright spot in a really dark few months when she cracked a sucky joke about something I had said and I actually laughed. 8. What’s your fatal flaw?

Wow, you’re really going in, aren’t you? I don’t know, man. I guess probably my addictive personality. It would have been a lot easier to get off the pain pills if I didn’t have that.

9. If your outlook on life could be summed up in one phrase, what would it be?

There’s a light at the end. That’s all I know to say. It’ll always get better.

10. Do you have a natural talent for anything?

I can sing. My girlfriend likes when I sing to her. So does my daughter. Sometimes its the only way we can get her to sleep. I tried to learn how to play guitar when I was like twelve because my mom said I might could do something with my musical talent if I learned an instrument. But I don’t think I have an actual talent because I could not figure that fucking thing out. But that’s it I guess. And no, I won’t sing for you now so don’t bother asking.

11. What’s your favorite song?

It changes a lot but right now it’s Torn to Pieces by Popevil. I like rock. Rock music. Popevil is one of the best rock bands going right now in my opinion. And that song is about loosing a girl and looking back on your relationship or whatever and being like wow I wonder if I can ever be what she really wanted from me. But I don’t think of it in a girlfriend way. It makes me think of my mom. I always wonder if she would be proud of me now. If I’ve lived up to what she wanted me to be. But I don’t know. I try not to think about it too hard because then I think about all the things about me she would hate. Like the fact that I forget to get my hair out of the drain after I wash it in the shower. My girlfriend hates that, too. That’s one of the reasons she wants me to cut my hair. Anyway. I’m getting side track.

12. Do you believe in the afterlife? What are your religious views?

Well I was kind of half raised Christian. Like- my mom always told me God is real but she never took me to church or whatever. She didn’t really have time. She was always dead tired by the time Sunday rolled around. But yeah, I believe. When I started living with my brother the first thing he did was take me to church. So I started going regularly when I was sixteen. That’s where I met my girlfriend. At youth group. I haven’t been in a while. Since I moved out of my brother’s house and no one is there to make me go anymore. But I can’t stand the thought of my mom not being in some beautiful place. I know she has to be.

Shallow; Roger Taylor x reader x oc male

*Author’s note*

Okay folks here is the next part I have for you all. Now I do NOT WANT ANY HATE FROM THIS CHAPTER. Cause I am aware of the fued between Bohemian Rhapsody and A Star is born (I personally love them both so if you asked me which to choose, I just can’t both stories are beautiful and it was good to see Bradley Cooper’s directorial debut and it’s sad he’s not getting credit as a director for the movie for the oscars)

Now I’ve decided to include some real facts based off the real Roger Taylor so I hope that’s okay but you all can still imagine Ben Hardy!Roger if you all want, or if you’ve been imagining the real members of Queen that’s fine too :) okay the next two chapters are coming up and they are a 2 parter so they literally go back to back and then that’s all for now afterwards. *July 20th, 1983*

It was yet another concert. The crowd, the lights and everything a Rockstar craves for. I smiled and I said into the microphone.

“Thank you Kansas, now this next song I wrote with a very special friend of mine. And you all will be the very first people to ever hear this song. Now I would like to welcome to the stage; you all know him as the drummer from Queen.” With that the entire crowd screamed hysterically. I smiled as I cried out, “Please give a warm Kansas welcome to Mr. Roger Taylor!”

The crowd went nuts as Roger came out from backstage holding an acoustic guitar. I smiled gratefully at him, remembering back to when I had asked him to do this song with me.

It was about a month ago, Roger was doing some of his solo stuff when he came over by my flat one day just to catch up and that’s when I told him of a song that I had in mind that I wanted to do for my upcoming show in Kansas City, Kansas.

I told him that I wanted this song to be a pure duet, no backup vocals just two people singing this song with raw passion and I asked if he was willing to help me out. Without question, he agreed and together the two of us got to work on how this song should go. As we worked on the song in my studio he approached me at one moment and said.

“Alright (y/n) I have a question for you, of course you don’t have to answer it. I feel like you don’t answer anything though but I—”

“What Rog?” I asked stopping his rambling.

“This song wouldn’t happen to be about you and Jack would it?” he asked me. I stopped the track and my fingers paused from the controls.

“What are you getting on?”

“Nothing I just—it feels like a love song and lately you and Jack have been getting pretty close.”

“It’s not a love song!” I snapped.

“Really?” He takes the sheets of paper and continues, “‘Tell me something boy?’ ‘Tell me something girl?’ ‘Crash through the surface where they can’t hurt us?’”

“It’s a metaphor Roger!” I tried to reason.

“First of all that’s my line and second I’m not judging love. You seem a lot happier with Jack than you did with that tosser Adam.”

“Oh I don’t know—you think?”

“Yeah. Look, I know that I haven’t been easy on the kid but now I’m starting to see the impact he’s made on you. Your eyes glow after hanging out with him, your smile actually reaches the corner of your eyes.” I looked down bashfully and I said as I tried to brush off my blush.

“Well it’s still not a love song.” Roger said not another word but kept smirking softly at me as we kept working on the song. Tightening up any lose rifts, making sure the lyrics were just right, until finally the song was perfect.

Now back to the current time frame, Roger came up to me and we both hugged each other and he tuned up the guitar before finally playing the chords and then finally singing.

I knew I wanted Roger’s voice specifically because he has this rawness that some country singers have so I thought Kansas would love to hear his voice along with mine for this specific song.

Roger played the instrumental break and then I picked up the song. At the chorus, I raised my voice with such passion as the crowd cheered for me before the two of us did the duet, sharing the same microphone and occasionally smiling at each other as we sang the duet.

As the song picked up with the electric guitar as well as some other accompaniment, Roger handed me the guitar and I began playing as he raced up and began playing the drums. The crowd continued screaming and cheering as the song continued on and as I vocalized before continuing to sing.

Once the last note was played the crowd cheered and I smiled as I gestured toward Roger who stood up and took a bow. He also directed towards me and applauded for me before he raced off stage.

By the end of the concert after a few more songs, I ran off the stage with all my helpers coming over to me handing me towels and water bottles telling me what a great concert I gave out. At that moment Roger came over to me and picked me up in a hug and spun me around.

“Oh love you were great out there!”

“So were you, thank you so much for recording the song with me.”

“I’m happy I could help you love,”

“(Y/n)!” We both turned around and we saw Jack running towards us. Roger grinned down at me and shoved me forward a bit before stepping aside but still keeping a watchful eye. “You were amazing out there.”

“You think?”

“Yeah, everyone was going crazy. And is that really the first time you ever performed that song what is it called? Shallow?”

“Yeah Jack I just—thought I’d give you Kansas folk a song you all could enjoy. Do you think the other southern states will like it?”

“Even if they don’t Kansas will always love it, how did you come up with a song like that?” he asked. My heart skipped a couple of beats and I heard Roger cough something out and I sent a glare at him telling him to fuck off.

“Oh it was just—on a whim. I’m really glad you decided to come to this concert Jack.”

“Me too.” He said with a soft smile.

Ohh if only he knew, maybe if Adam didn’t fuck our relationship, then maybe one day I could confess to Jack telling him that this song was truly about us. With me being the Rockstar and him the modern boy and the two of us hoping to escape the deep end of fame and be in the shallows so that a relationship can truly blossom between us.

2. Do you know why you are named that?

No idea to be honest. I figure my parents thought a less ‘khajiiti’ name would be easier for me in Skyrim and they heard the name somewhere and liked it. I’ve never asked them though so *shrug*

3. Are you single or taken?

I’n not particularly taken but I’m not sure I could call myself single either, it’s a little complicated. I have things going on with some people around Skyrim but some are more of a thing than others y’know

4. Have any abilities or powers?

I have some skill with magic and obviously I’m dragonborn so since most people don’t have any ability with Thu’um I’d say that counts. Although I’m still pretty new to this so who knows what I’ll be able to do later :)

6. What’s your eye color?

mmmm icy blue like the glaciers of the Pale

7. How about your hair color?

It’s a sort of auburn brown I’d say. There was one time it was purple briefly but that was because of a lost bet and some college mages

I have a decently sized family actually! I don’t have any siblings but y parents live in Skyrim, and I have some grandparents and stuff in Elsweyr

9. Oh? How about any pets?

Lydia >w< no I’m joking don’t tell her I said that haha. I’ve never really had any pets but we had a horse or two when I was little. Part of me wishes I didn’t have to kill dragons :( since that would be the coolest

10. That’s cool, I guess. Now tell me something you don’t like.

mmm Really don’t like draugr. They usually go down pretty easily but my fur is on end the entire time I’m in one of those places. I ALSO HATE BEARS. THEY COME OUT OF GODS DAMN NOWHERE AND FLOOR ME EVERY TIME.

11. Do you have any activities/hobbies that you like to do?

I enjoy singing and playing instruments! I’m not that great at it but I’m passable playing the lute and drum. I also like to cook and have dinner with some friends sometimes, it’s cozy, and hunting and exploring Skyrims wilderness is always fun

12. Have you hurt anyone in any way before?

Oh yeah, a few people.

13. Ever… killed anyone before?

14. What kind of animal are you?

*looks down* I.. I’m a cat?

15. Name your worst habits?

I have been told that it is problematic when I steal all the shinies and cool stuff. But jokes on them cuz I took their stuff too

16. Do you look up to anyone at all?

Not anyone specifically no, I just have people I respect greatly. I respected Kodlak, I respect Idgrod Ravencrone, among others. I’m fond of Balgruuf, and Brynjolf, Karliah. I respect my friends generally basically. Although, there are other’s that while I couldn’t and would want to call them friend I have a certain admiration for because maybe they were smart or skilled in the way they did something.

17. Are you gay, straight or bisexual?

Straight, in terms of experience up till now. Who knows though, there might be a woman I fall in love with in the future

18. Do you go to school?

Well most of my schooling was done by my parents but I did have the opportunity to go to a small program when I was about 7-8 to fill in some gaps and teach me some extra skills. In my adult life I’ve taken the opportunity of travelling to join as many institutions and study as much as possible though!

19. Ever want to marry and have any kids one day?

I don’t have anything against marriage, if someone loves me enough to want to marry me then I’ll do it but I don’t really think it’s necessary. Children too, sure I’d like them one day probably but right now I’m not bothered. I don’t want to put my body through that on the mortal plane.

20. Do you have any fangirls/fanboys?

Some people do come up to me and express their admiration but mostly I deal with things outside of large cities and witha helmet or hood on so who I am hasn’t spread that widely yet. I do enjoy when I am welcomed as the dragonborn by powerful figures though, it’s a great ego boost ;)

21. What are you most afraid of?

Void. Things, my life, the world, being devoid of what makes it. Even after death, eventhough I’m afraid of that too, Being religated to a husk of what I once was and nothing keeping that alive scares me.

22. What do you usually wear?

A little bit of everything!I’m not too fussy. I like dresses and trousers and armour, but I do prefer wide necklines since tight ones make me feel like if being strangled sometimes :/

23. What one food tempts you?

I can at times be bribed with grilled salmon. Or the moonbread my mother makes

24. Am I annoying you?

Not particularly, we’re you trying to?

My family has money but we’ve usually kept things quite humble so somewhere in the lower middle I suppose. We also have some status thanks to my grandma being one of the most sought after dancers in Elsweyr for a while

27. How many friends do you have?

A fair few actually! I’m quite social so I meet a lot of people. Close friends I only have a small handful though, I don’t like having too many people too close to me at one time. Especially with all the political games going on

28. What are your thoughts on pie?

*heavy breathing* yes I have been known to parttake in pie

29. Favourite drink?

I like mead, canis root tea. I currently have a monopoly on every remaining bottle of honningbrew mead in Skyrim.

30. What’s your favourite place?

I love being at home since I go days or weeks without being there sometimes. But there are some beautiful places around too, I love spending time in the Bannered Mare, or Clearpring Tarn, or the hotspringsssss

31. Are you interested in anyone?

33. Would you rather swim in the lake or the ocean?

I prefer shallow or manmade things usually. Large bodies of water scare me a bit. I’m working on it though since I nabbed a helmet of waterbreathing

I don’t think so.. just don’t be a twat? Also take a bath you filthy animal. I’m a cat and I put myself through that, you don’t even have fur

36. Camping indoors or outdoors?

Camping isn’t really my thing but I sometimes like sleeping outside in the wilderness. Indoors? I didn’t know you could camp indoors. I like making nests for myself if that counts?

11/11/11 Tag Game!

Hullo. I was tagged by @fiama-l-hernandez and @thewordreaper Thankies ^^ I am going to these one at a time staring with Fiana’s.

Rules: answer 11 questions, ask 11 questions, tag 11 people.

1. Which oc is the morning person and which is the night owl?

Morning person: Tarioush, Osgar and Takeru

Night owl: Elise

Vincent used to oscillate between the two, but nowadays he is tired all the time and just wants to sleep.

2. How would your Oc’s fare in a school setting? Who excels more at school and who is counting the days until they graduate?

Vincent excelled but school was meh for him.

Takeru was good at studying, but had limited patience for it, so he counted the days until graduation so he could do his own thing without assignments to derail him from his work.

Tarioush and Elise both enjoyed school and did quite well, excelling in different fields, arts for Tarioush and history for Elise. None of which have anything to do with their current occupation but oh well!

Osgar is tricky. High school is a black hole, he skipped a lot, drank a lot, got into fights a lot. He cleaned up his act in college, but didn’t actually like it until his last year.

3. What’s your favorite writing tip?

I think it’s a mix of something I heard in a true crime podcast. Basically it boiled down to: write for yourself and enjoy what you write because it is your story and it doesn’t matter if it gets published or not. Also when looking at reviews don’t take everything to heard because there will always be people who hate your work.

4. What food do you associate with you OCs?

Elise: soups, baked potatoes, also fast food burgers and shaworma

Tarioush and Osgar: homemade meals, cakes, muffins, salmon with cherry tomatoes

Vincent: cabbage rolls with polenta, fried potatoes with onion and bacon bits, apple pie with cinnamon and ice cream

Takeru: sushi, udon noodles, miso soup, gyoza all of them vegan. vegan omurice

5. Who is your main character’s favorite person and why?

For Elise it’s Tarioush hands down. They grew up together and have been beside each other for everything. Her older brother Valen and Osgar come close second because of their warmth.

6. What is the weirdest way you’ve ever been inspired?

My inspirations comes in bursts so I don’t really know... Probably hearing random snippets of conversations.

7. Favorite writing snack?

I write mostly at work, so I don’t really snack while I am there.

8. What’s your favorite scene in you WIP so far?

I don’t think I have a favorite one. There were a few moments between Elise and Tarioush or Vincent and Takeru where my brain “friendship at it’s finest! yes!”. There is also this which is completely out of context and pretty far into the story as opposed to where I am at right now, but the prompt fit so I went with it. I’ll have to edit it a lot, but I like how the interaction between Vince and Tari turned out.

9. Songs you associate with you WIP?

Errr, for the moment I have only Trooper - Voodo which Elise was trying to sing along to while driving. May High Hopes by Panic! At the Disco and Bad Company and Jekyll and Hyde by Five Finger Death Punch because I have been listening to playlists that have included them and my hand just flowed on the paper :)).

10. Are you inspired by any media?

Some movie scenes. I got inspired a bit by a scene in Marry Poppins Returns to create The Sentinels which are small glowing orbs use for surveillance.

11. How badly would truth or dare between your characters end?

They might end up drunk, depending on their mood. Osgar and Tari would kiss a lot cause of Elise, Vincent and Takeru would do any dare thrown at them cause they are nit good at telling the truth. That of Vince would just lie to Takeru’s mild annoyance. Takeru would point out when anyone is not being honest and have them admit to it. Elise gives the most random dares and at some point they just keep asking her to list heavy stuff to find the limit to her strength. Ingrid face palms a lot cause she is surrounded by children! All of them! Even the 3 who are her age!

Phew, that was a lot, and now for the second set. Am I bending the rules at this point? Most likely!

1. What colours do you associate with your wip ?

I used a lot of red, green, shades of brown and black and white so I guess those.

2. Summarise the beginning of your wip in three to five words.

Escaped serial killer brings panic among law enforcement. 8 words...

3. What character do you like writing about the most ?

I think both Vince and Elise because of the contrast between their personalities.

4. Did your plot ever make any major deviations from what you originally planned ?

My current first draft also functions as a outline so there is no original plan per se. Although! I ended up writing a character having a panic attack in what was supposed to be a semi domestic ending for a calm chapter.

5. Do you listen to music while writing ? If you do, what kind ?

Yes, mostly rock music with all it’s variations. Whatever spotify can throw at me for a particular band and bands similar to the one I initially searched for.

6. Favourite animals of your main characters !

Elise loves snakes! She used to raise them with her family back in Ireland and her first apartment in Glasgow still has snake decorations. She wants to get some on the safe house as well.

7. What was the inspiration behind your current wip ?

The role play I did on a Romanian forum years ago. It was Harry Potter based, but I didn’t get the chance to write that much on it. I liked the backstory I had for Elise and wanted to use her again. Same for Takeru. Tarioush is based on one of my current RP characters and Vincent is the result of other characters combined.

For the plot itself, I knew I wanted Elise to be in law enforcement and that somebody in her past had a grudge on her so I went from there.

8. Which author would you compare your writing style to ?

I am still finding my style so I don’t know. + I tent to avoid comparing myself to others because Everybody’s style is different so.

9. Is there a new form of writing that you plan on attempting in the future ?

I don’t think so, no.

10. What instruments do your main characters play/ play want to play ?

Takeru plays the piano and that is kind of it :)). And he is not really a main character yet.

11. Are there any of your characters you would love to meet irl ?

Maybe Tarioush and Osgar cause they are adorable. And Hiei, Takeru’s falcon, but not Takeru cause his silence is intimidating.

1. What is your full name? Riley, and that’s all I’m gonna say

2. What is your nickname? I kinda gave myself the nickname RPS? You can also call me Trams cause of my url, I don’t mind.

4. What is your favorite book series? Favorite book series... probably Harry Potter. I’m not obsessed with it (cause J.K. is kinda not a good person) but it’s one of the few series I remember reading.

5. Do you believe in aliens or ghosts? Sure. I’m not a hardcore believer, and when I watch Buzzfeed Unsolved Supernatural, I’m DEFINITELY a Shaniac, but I’m definitely not closed to the idea.

6. Who is your favorite author? Probably Charles Dickens or Shakespeare. I’m a sucker for that classic literature stuff.

7. What is your favorite radio station? Eh, I don’t really listen to the radio.

34. Do you have an unusual phobias? I HATE arteries and tendons. HATE HATE HATE them. They freak me out and I have to cover them up when I start getting freaked out by them. I’ve had this fear since I was a child.

I always feel ill after eating a lot of shellfish (I usually avoid it but today I didn’t really have a choice) and I’m not sure if it’s because these dishes are always super rich and greasy or because I’m intolerant to shellfish.

im fairly open-minded and laid back. Unless someones being like, purposely nasty or something I generally don’t get defensive or aggressive. also a lot of little quirks that piss others off dont bother me im very u do u as long as its not actually harming anyone and ive had people tell me this makes it easier to open up to me so thats probably my best quality....

18. what is your worst quality, in your opinion?

....at the same time though i do get very sensitive when faced w/ criticism even if its of the fair variety when its not phrased really gently for various reasons and i dont like that. especially since I have a tendency to not even talk to people about it. I’ll just immediately start distancing myself. also other than that i think overall I have a really high tolerance lvl but if you cross that line I hold a grudge like a motherfucker

9. do you like cats or dogs better?

cats! dogs are good too but cats are a lot easier for me to handle...and quieter generally but even when they’re loud cat sounds dont get to me quite as much as barks do

the lack of responsibility, probably. that sounds real bad lmao but for me its like...I know I’ve grown in various ways over the years but I also feel like so many of my experiences, my trauma, my mental health has held me back and I don’t think I’m mentally where I should be for my age. so all the responsibility of adulthood is just..really overwhelming for me sometimes, even though ive been given a pass from certain aspects of it and the rest is pretty simple its the idea!!!!

i cant stand passive aggressive behavior. my stance is either get over it or quit acting like a bitch because otherwise im just going to ignore you thats the scorpio way (in all seriousness I really, really do recommend not putting up with it and ignoring it until they decide to be up front with you. it can be exhausting constantly reading into conversations and its not healthy for you or them. if they have something to say they need to learn to talk about it properly, and that lack of social skills is not ever on you)

yep! i think about....six or so? i love them...which is really funny im autistic and EVERYTHING about them should freak me out and they do in other circumstances but at a show i just live for it

nope! ive thought before id like to go vegetarian...but i couldnt do it with my health problems. also i love shrimp too much

ive always wanted to do something creative! when i was rlly young I thought a lot about singing and acting and writing in particular...all things im still interested in.... also i wanted to be a dictator ages 4-7 because i told my mom i wanted to be president of the world and make people do what i say and she said “honey thats a dictator not a president”. i then made that known at school and that turned into a situation!

probably that you have to look at your accomplishments differently when you’re disabled or just struggling, to not be so down on yourself because its a fact that what might be a mole hill to someone else is a mountain to you and you have to judge yourself accordingly. Like maybe you weren’t able to clean the whole house, but washing the dishes and tidying your desk doesn’t usually get done but you did it. That that should be celebrated because while it would also feel good if you did more, you still did something and thats great all things considered.

sometimes, really depends what im lying about and if im like....into it at all. If my guts against it for whatever reason I’ll have trouble
