I keep seeing that one Soul Eater trend of who’s the weapon and who’s the welder and I couldn’t help but think of Curtwen.

Now I don’t know anything about Soul Eater and honestly not a lot about weapons but I decided to draw them both as weapons instead of one of them as just the welder and the other as the weapon. Please note that I don’t draw weapons. This also isn’t a Soul Eater’s au this is just me trying to think about what they would look like as weapons.

Owen’s

Ok. So Owen’s was probably easier for me. I wanted it to be a gun and also some type of blade. I didn’t want it to just be a gun because that didn’t feel right. I liked the older look of the one I picked and I wanted the blade to look more like a machete. I knew I wanted a darker more muted color palette because it felt like it fit him better. His own colors being more muted in the show. I was stuck between Gold and Silver but decided that Gold didn’t fit. Silver felt much better. The flashiness in the weapon comes to just how deadly it is.

Curt’s

(These are Hook Swords.) Curt’s color palette is based off the colors of his outfits from the musical. The red and black jacket, the white suit, the t-shirt when at his Mom’s. There’s also probably something to say here about both light and darkness but ya know. Hook swords aren’t actually that flashy looking by themselves but the moves done with them can be. They have a multitude of uses but the most basic is to block and hit. It felt right that there were so many ways to use it but truly only two basic methods.

I think the funniest part is that hook swords are used in pairs from what I can see and while the gun sword I made for Owen has two of them for double welding you only really need one.

Yeah...it's best you don't touch a Sexyman, especially if they're pregnant. Then you'll have a dashboard of them coming to kill you greet you with their presence violently. Anon...what the hell went through your brain to think you could get away with this?

You went against three demons, one of them as a father-to-be, two guys with literal axes, a shapeshifter with strong survival instincts whose already protective enough as is, and a teenage girl who may look like she wouldn't hurt a fly, but has experience with a softball bat. That was not a smart move.

Being non confrontational meant that she never started fights...but she was glad she and her found family finished this one.

What if various energies (Magical, Elemental, Solar, Electrical, etc.) occasionally just sorta condense and collect into glowing humming crystals.

These crystals could be embedded into weapons or armour granting whoever wields them a power boost that charges their actions with the type of energy that formed the crystal.

You could even have especially talented magic users create items wholly out of these crystals granting an even greater power boost to the person wielding them.

Also, why not have the crystals in their natural state be just a wee bit dangerous occasionally discharging some of their power seemingly randomly, sometimes at living targets.
