the audience needs a part two for the jamie + fan kissing scene PLEASEEEE
your wish is my command, anon (part 1)
Jamie hasn't slept a wink when you finally come home.
It's a quiet thing, your homecoming. To the house you two share and couldn't run away to after you caught Jamie in someone else's arms. He'd called you desperately time after time and all tries went unanswered, followed up by texts begging to please just let me know you're okay. You'd read them all and only answered once before Keeley- who you'd chosen for a safe haven after running away from the club- took your phone away from you.
She'd also refused to speak neither ill nor good things of Jamie. She offered you a hot drink and spare clothes to change into, a comfy guest room, and a shoulder to cry on. The morning after you also had texts from Sam, Dani, and some of the other boys who'd witnessed the exchange between Jamie and said fan, all confirming the version your boyfriend had tried to tell you the night before.
God, you were so embarrassed. That this had happened, that some of your closest friends had been there to watch, that you couldn't believe him when he said he'd never do something like that to you even when you knew how deeply and loyally Jamie loved.
But the image of him kissing someone else was tattooed behind your eyelids. As a consequence, your night was also mostly sleepless, and when you finally come face to face with Jamie you both look like tired messes.
His hair is greasy and unkempt. He'd been pacing the living room and lying on the couch trying to sleep when you came home, so his clothes- the same from last night- are wrinkled and a little smelly. You in return are wearing someone else's clothes, eyes swollen from crying and body aching with the tension this whole thing has brought upon you.
You're both a sight for each other's sore eyes.
"Hi," you say quietly, dropping your bag and your keys on the counter.
"Hey," he answers breathlessly like he can't believe you're here. One blink and you might disappear into thin air like you never even existed. "You- Keeley called. Said you were on your way home... on your way here."
You close your eyes painfully at the correction.
"Still home," you reply, hesitant to get nearer. "The guys called. Told me everything. I-"
"I'm sorry," Jamie goes to hold you again but seems to hesitate when remembering how you'd tried to twist out of his grip the previous night. You close the remaining distance, wrapping your hands around his shirt and clinging for dear life. "I'm so sorry, I swear I would never- I hate that you had to see that, I'm so, so sorry-"
"Baby," you say, and Jamie melts like snow under the summer sun. You can't not touch him, cupping his face, touching his skin. Something inside your chest tightens when he nuzzles your palm with so much force his neck must ache a little. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry you had to go through that, I'm sorry I didn't listen-"
"Why would you?" he says self-deprecatingly, turning to burrow his face into your wrist, the crook of your elbow, and into your neck, hugging you tight. "You- I would've done the same thing, right? If I saw you... if I..."
"I wouldn't," she cups the back of his neck, possessive. Comforting. "And neither would you. I know that now, I'm sorry."
The only person who should be sorry is the fan that thought had some ownership over a footballer they'd never met, that put Jamie in such position no one deserved to be in.
"Missed you," he's crying, you realize when his voice cracks and something wet hits your neck. "All I could think was that I'd never see you again, and I... fuck."
"We're okay," you soothe, running your hands through his hair. He smells of sweat and faint traces of cologne. The scent alone and the thought of never being this close to him again makes your eyes water, too. "We're okay, baby, we're gonna be okay."
You will be, you're sure. After at least 9 hours of sleep in the same bed and keeping each other in the same room at all times, eventually the sting of this entire night will fade. You have to talk, too, about so many things, but right now you only pull Jamie toward your bedroom.
There'll be time for all of that. After all, you're not going anywhere.

Part 2. Impinge
Tumblr media
6 months.
It's been six months since Satoru made Mina disappear. Six months of ceaseless trying. Only he knows how many efforts he has put in. Taking every mission near Kyoto just so he could cross paths with, even a glimpse of you at the Kyoto High would give him enough strength to keep going.
Coming up with reasons to see you- arranging tournaments, joint trips, missions of two schools just so he could see you have fun with your kids. The tournaments which used to happen once a year now happen every month.
It was one of the tournaments he had prepared under the pretense of helping the students get stronger. Everyone knew the real reason though. It was pretty to figure out- instead of participating, Satoru was busy completing your smallest wishes. Oh you're thirsty? Do you need water? Juice? Any other drinks? He has prepared everything. Hungry? Okay your favorite food is already on your way. You've been standing in the sun for far too long? He's your personal butler holding an umbrella for you, maintaining a distance. At this point you feel bad for him.
You think he's going to start jumping as you bring him to one of the empty rooms, so you can finally let him talk.
Closing the door behind you before locking it with one hand while the other is held by Satoru a little tightly, fearing you might leave him again if he loosens his grip on you. Hugging you tightly the moment you turn around to face him. His body is slightly trembling as he lets out a shaky breath.
"Please... Just give me a moment" he requests for your permission to let him hold you close in his embrace as he recollects his thoughts. Relaxing his entangled arms around you, enough till he's on his knees, looking up at your bewildered expression with his arms holding you close to him by your waist.
"Gojo..." you exhale gently, still unwilling to fully give into his wishes. At least not until he comes clean.
"Seven months. It's been seven months since I last held you. It's been seven months since I started trying to correct my mistakes. Finding proof against Mina, making her friend confess to her so I can catch her redhanded and well, the next six months were spent trying to win you back and ask for your forgiveness" he chuckles nervously "so do you think I've succeeded?" He looks at you, his eyes pleading, eyebrows slightly raised giving you an anxious yet soft smile.
You softly cup his cheeks, tracing his cheekbone with your thumb "I believe you've already proved sufficiently but" you exhale pausing for a moment "I think it'll be difficult to date me now, I'm quite terrified Satoru, I might push you away at times, I might not trust you enough..." you confess. You can notice his face contour into one of the expressions of hurt, realizing he's the one who has caused you such immense pain. And that's why he'll make sure you'll heal. He will stay with you through all the thick and thin.
"It is alright. I've made mistakes, so I must make up for it. No matter how much you push me away, I'll come back to you. If you don't trust me enough, I'll try to win your trust even harder. No matter what punishments you give me, I will gladly accept them all if it means you are standing along my side. So, do you think I can get another chance to prove to you that I'll only be yours? I promise I'll always live up to my words" He pours his heart and soul into this confession, begging for a miracle that you'll finally accept him.
You answer by leaning down softly connecting your lips with his, smiling into it as Satoru returns the kiss with fervour with a hand cupping your cheek and pulling you even closer, tear drops wetting the fingertips. Oh how you both longed for each other.
"Well then, from now on you'll only be mine. Never forget that." You breathe against his lips, grinning.
"Only yours." He swears.

PAC: 11/11 Self-Care Messages 🍊🌚🦂
Tumblr media
Hey y'all. I'm here to take a brief break from NaNoWriMo (I've been making big progress, I swear!). I've heard from some astrologers that this new moon is going to be rather strong, similar to the energy of the full moon.
After some scouring through the web to find horoscopes that weren't all doom and gloom, I figured now would be a good time to draw some cards for a few wellness messages. This was done to check current mood and energy and suggest healing or wellness methods mainly for stress relief.
I emphasize that if you have a real medical issue, best to take it to a doctor, even if you're thinking it's possibly a psychic thing.
Please choose your pile based on palette color below:
Pile 1 - Tropics Pile 2 - Pinkadelic Pile 3 - Mysterious Night Pile 4 - Solar Energy
Take care~☼
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Pile 1: Tropics
Tumblr media
The World, Peace, Surrender, Salt Bath, Receive, King of Cups, Knight of Swords, Seven of Coins
So you've done it, or it's been done. You've checked the items off your list. You've asked others if there was more to do only to be met with shaking heads saying "no, but thanks." So what to do now? It's easy to get used to this position of needing to be the big helper all the time. A king of cups taking on the world wants to solve every problem and won't rest until everyone is satisfied. But what would all of that take? Is it worth draining your cup, especially when others are learning to rely on it so much?
Your cards are suggesting a much needed rest time. If it's not a salt bath, then try just resting in bed, a brief sunbath, or a massage therapy session. It's not just resting your body, but your mind. You got two color cards which fell out. Surrender the mind for peace within the body. They're linked in this case. Knight of Swords says whatever happens to one will quickly affect the other. Recovery may take some time so please give yourself space to breathe.
This could be a specific message for some out there. I felt a brief pang in my chest that went away as soon as your reading was finished. I don't usually interpret this Salt Bath card in such a literal way, but… please watch your salt intake, more or less, make sure you're getting iodized salt. Some of you may be worried about doctor's visits? Just make sure you're drinking enough water in between salty meals. Keep your stress levels down, above all.
Take care of your heart health and try not to run yourself ragged with too many assignments and crisis alerts going off (what the heck there's a random phone alarm going off in my house now JUST as I'm typing this! And then it stopped as soon as I got up! Crazy). The message is to not respond to every single call and alarm that goes off okay! You definitely need time to rest, and boundaries for said rest. I mean deeply rest and clear your mind, let yourself suspend from the schedule with some suds. You can't get away to paradise forever, but you can create for yourself a moment in time.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pile 2: Pinkadelic
Tumblr media
Five of Coins, Trust, Bodega Cat, Acceptance, VI The Lovers, XVII Star, Ace of Cups
Tick tock, you've been waiting a while for this to come around in your life. I feel this is strongly a love related reading but let's see. If it's not a romantic partner you're attracting, it's a fresh start at life or spiritual awakening, the feeling of falling in love again with life. You've likely been waiting for a while, stuck in a limbo state, learning how to remain comfortable or at least steady in the unknown. Yet you're eager for that "more" or "other" kind of experience. The type of manifestation that makes life feel magical and new.
You need a quick pep talk. I might get a little cheesy with the message, but here goes: For anyone who has yet to meet you, you are that magic spark in their life. You're radiating the energy of wish making and affection and that has an effect on others around you. You're already on the way to attracting the one who will properly recognize that for you. I'm picking up on a lot of artists in this pile. Your magic seeps through to your art, your aura or energy rubs off onto what you make, and somebody special will see the talent in your work. You have way more talent in the arts than you think.
With that said, the Bodega Cat is a lucky cat here to remind you of your independence. You ultimately don't need anyone to come along and remind you of how amazing your work is. Once you see it for yourself, they will come. Once you see it as done, they will show. Perhaps more than it may seem right now. Just like the cat can be itself and people will show up to pet it and take pictures, whatever you bring forth will carry that same unique charm naturally.
You may be in the mood to go on a shopping spree. Treat yourself to something small and nice, like candy or a new t-shirt, it doesn't have to be extravagant. I recommend affirmations specifically on self-love for you, pile 2. Take a mirror marker and write nice things on your mirror. Pet a lucky cat when one stops by, as well! Sweeten your water with some fresh fruit for a sensual touch. Trust and believe. All of this beautiful magical energy is bursting outwards from you! Accept the wish that's there out in front of you.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pile 3: Mysterious Night
Tumblr media
Three of Swords, Growth, Dandelion, Perspective, XII Hanged Man, King of Swords, X Wheel of Fortune
I can tell that whatever has happened in the last few months, you've taken on a hurdle of challenges to get to where you are now. You've had to learn some harsh lessons, some of which may have felt like they were coming out of nowhere. The word 'Disappointment' was clear and capitalized. It seemed like you took many chances or opportunities on, only to be spun around and left in the dark to figure things out on your own. This last cycle was a particular struggle to build resilience while maintaining the motivation to keep moving toward your goals.
But look, you got both the Growth and Dandelion card in your reading! This is truly signifying how much you've really fought back and continued to nurture yourself in spite of the circumstances thrown in your face over and over. There's a spirit of not giving up even when you let yourself have the chance to process the feeling otherwise. Determination isn't about pretending to be happy in spite of comebacks. Disappointments happen; it's a chance to cry it out before smiling again, it's an umbrella and rain coat to let the day rain from time to time instead of expecting the skies to always stay clear.
You've weathered so much and gained an abundance of wisdom this past season, it's like at this point you're gearing up to be ready for whatever comes next. I don't know if you are necessarily expecting good things to come your way, however. Those might be the very things to sweep you off your feet. Or you may still be too on guard to notice the good luck. It's like the dandelion has gotten acclimated to the cracks, but is it ready for the wheel to turn and for the water to flow in between?
I feel like this whole reading is about being ready for a level up. If you need 999 XP to do so, then right now you're at 900. You're getting to the finish line. But instead of getting too worked up about the end result, however, you've mastered the art of hanging back and waiting for when the time is right. Your new perspective allows you to lay back and take a breather between these strong growth spurts. Remember to stay grounded to your toughened roots, pile 3. Try out grounding exercises and meditations. Spend time out in nature when considering the next moves you're going to make in life. No need to rush this kind of growth.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pile 4: Solar Energy
Tumblr media
Two of Swords, Fear, What You Seek is Seeking You, Change, XV The Devil, Ten of Swords, Seven of Pentacles, Six of Pentacles
I always forget how terrifying the devil card is in this deck lol! In fact I'm seeing and sensing a LOT of fear and anxiety in this pile which is why I went and added an extra tarot card. Six is pentacles on top of the deck is good as it shows help is on the way soon. Remember to stay centered and calm at this time, your chance to heal is coming for you, but you may need to yield some of the resistance behind allowing the change necessary to make way for that healing to occur.
It seems as though your pile conjures images of wanting to see daylight at the end of the tunnel. You feel that change is coming very soon and you're not sure if you're able to handle the next cycle after the one that you've been through. Quite the wringer you've been in for some time… I think a lot of y'all have done some shadow work recently, and it has not been the easiest. It's not always about meditating and journaling. Sometimes it's about seeing how simple, basic fears that are universal to humankind can get distorted and become something much more twisted. When you work past the scary parts, you can see the fear for what it really is. 10 of Swords is Sun in Gemini, learning that sometimes overthinking isn't going to solve the problem, especially when the worst is already past you.
A lot of good things seem to be underway for you even if they're not present at the moment. You've done a fair share of rummaging in the attic and going through all the old, little things. You're going through an extensive clearing out phase. Give yourself the opportunity to put the swords of caution down and accept a gentle wave of positive changes to restructure your life piece by piece.
I'm also getting that this pile may be particularly affected by seasonal affective disorder. Make sure to go out and get some sunlight outside, through windows, or UV lamps. I don't know for sure how Vitamin D supplements would help and you'll want to be careful with St John's Wort if you're on medication, but John's Wort is a good supplement I use for my tea to combat the winter blues. If you sense that your mental state may be getting triggered by lack of sunlight, please look into it.

Smutty kidnapping: Part 1
A heady memory of pain was Jo awoke to. Her body felt numb, her brain slow and rattled. Her eyes fluttered open but a rough blindfold kept her from sight. She scrambled to claw the fabric away from her face but felt the sharp sensation of restriction around her wrists, zip ties? And something was digging into her ankles as well. Jo started to scream but a gag swallowed up the sound. What was happening, why was she like this, where was she? Who did..
memories came back in a rush, her declining to take her normal bus home and risking the walk, feeling worried about the lack of streetlights along the way, the sound of another set of footsteps, and then…She was here, completely bound and alone. Helpless. Certainly in danger. Maybe about to die. Jo didn’t want to die. But she sat there, the cold steel of the chair working its way to her core, the silence eating away at her. She felt frozen, trapped. Fear ate away at her far more ravenously than the cold and the dark.
Sometime later, the sound of a door swinging open shocked her senses, someone was here, someone was coming, someone was going to help her, to rescue her, to save her. She was going to be okay
The rush of what had to have been a faucet confused her, what was happening up there? Who was up there? Footsteps grew louder and closer until
"Hello there" a sweet fem voice tittered at her, "Don't make a scene now, alright? I bet you're thirsty. I'll give you a drink if you don't scream."
Jo thrashed in her seat, trying to throw herself at the voice, shouting into her gag. Because of the blindfold, she was completely blindsided by the backhand her captor delivered.
"Don't do that," that voice sighed, "You're going to hurt yourself and I don't want that.. So be quiet Jo, or else."
Jo shuddered, nodding in silence. A hand came up to her face, grabbing her by the chin. "Oh dear, you're bleeding," the voice fussed, "Please don't make me do that again,” water sloshed near Jo’s head, “Now here's a drink." Jo's gag was pulled away and replaced by a cup of ice cold water, which she desperately gulped down. "Good girl, Jo," the voice said with satisfaction, "you barely spilled a drop."
"Who are you," Jo croaked out, "Why are you doing this to me."
"Don't ask silly questions," her kidnapper replied, "better yet, don't even worry about a thing. Now sit tight love, I'll be back soon"
And then she walked away, leaving Jo sitting there, limbs still bound and eyes still covered but, at least now she could call for help the next time she heard someone.
Jo struggled to stay awake a little longer but succumbing to exhaustion, she felt the world slip away.

Are you someone who knows Ana quite intimately? Do you and Ana struggle to find something to eat that is low calorie and not fattening? Do you just want something tasty you can enjoy a few bites of before putting it away again? Do you need a safe meal you can have in front of others?
Well, this might be the blog for you.
Hi, I'm Anabelle and I love to cook, but I don't love to eat. I'm getting the recipes you need to make sure the people in your life don't notice how close you and Ana are right now. Sometimes your family is going to force you to eat, but here's the thing, if YOU say "I can eat, but I really want this specific thing..." they'll be so glad you're eating they won't bat an eyelash at your low calorie meal.
Please note that these meals are low in calories and are easily halved if you feel it's too much food at once. I'll explain at the end how the best ways to lessen the fat content and calories. These recipes all have salt to help maintain your water balance for all that water you drink, proteins to help maintain muscle instead of it going with the fat, and sugars to help maintain your blood sugar so that you don't pass out when fasting or on your low calorie days.
Also, this is obviously portioned for people with ana. Increase the portions if cooking for others. You can message me and I'll help you portion it out.
Alright. Let's get started.
Meal 1: shrimp and egg patty
You need
1/4 cup of chicken broth
1/4 tbsp of soy sauce
1/4 tbsp of oyster sauce(optional)
1/16 cup of cold water
2 ounces of uncooked shrimp, deveined and shelled
1/8 cup of bean sprouts
I/2 green onion
2 large egg whites
Boil your broth, oyster sauce if you choose it, and soy sauce. Add cold water.you can add 1/2 tbsp of corn starch if you want the mixture to thicken and be a sauce for the eggs but you can just use it as a light flavoring without the corn starch.
In another pan, heat 1/2 tbsp of olive oil and then cladding your shrimp, onion, bean sprouts.
Whisk eggs in a bowl with 1/2 tsp of soy sauce. Add into your shrimp mixture until eggs and scrambled around.
Top with green onions, and serve with a bit of the broth mixture you made earlier for a topic sauce. If you didnt add corn starch I suggest dropping a spoon full over your eggs for flavor.
Now two eggs is a whole lot for us folks with ana. Cut your meal in half and you'll be in less than 100 calories. One egg mixture with a tbsp of sauce should run you about 90-100 calories. You can even save the rest for another day! Leftovers in your fridge makes it look like you're trying to eat more so your family will be excited. And if you're like me, you know you won't eat leftovers anyway, so you can ditch it after a day or two and claim you ate it.
If you eat it all, there isn't a huge reason to panic either because two patties with 1/4 cup of your starched up sauce is only 150 calories, and that's IF you use a full 1/4 cup. For all purposes, 1 tbsp is enough. You're not gunna be licking your plate.
Anyway, I hope you like this recipe and I hope it helps some of yall out. I have collected alot of recipes over the last year that are very low calorie, easily accessible, and delicious. Just because I'm not eating 2000 calories a day like a fat ass doesn't mean I can't have something tasty at least once a day(especially to please the family so they think I'm eating right.)
Let me know if you try it and if you like it. If you have any recipe requests let me know! If you have a favorite safe food that you want to spice up without sacrificing that beautiful thin figure.
I'll continue to post meals that I'm using!

Bound by Law (Matt Murdock x Reader)
Words: 3793 (chapter 46)
season 1 finale AT LAST!!
Tumblr media
46. Daredevil
You get out of your car, carrying a bag of groceries and a briefcase full of case documents. Busy with watching your step in fear of ruining your shoes, you miss the moment a dark figure emerges right in front of the main entrance to your building. "Excuse me, Miss, but I'll need you to come with me." A firm voice says and you slightly gasp.
"Who are you?" You back up into a wall, clutching your shopping bag close to your chest as a shield.
"Miss, Mr Fisk wants to have a few words with you and I need you to come with me right now." Francis replies, and when you think of running away, the other man comes to stand by your side, both wearing only dark costumes in this windy evening. You suddenly remember him - Marco.
"I'm busy, in case you haven't noticed." You glance at the camera on the building, filming every step of this scene.
"Miss, I will walk you to your flat." Marco says, much to Francis's annoyance. "No funny business."
His raised eyebrow makes you sigh, "Alright." It was best to go through this peacefully than wake up the whole building with screaming and trashing, especially when you knew that these two would easily pack you in their car as if it was nothing.
Francis goes to wait in the car and minutes later, you're walking outside with Marco holding your forearm tightly. He sits in the backseat, and you're allowed to sit in the front, next to Francis behind the wheel. Somehow, the passenger privileges did not give you much hope as to what was about to come. They didn't cover your eyes, and made you sit in the front, as if Fisk wanted you to know where he was residing. You can't keep silent and ask, "You two were close with James, weren't you?" looking straight ahead, watching the city lights go over your head.
They don't hurry to answer, and when you think that you're going to get ignored, Marco speaks up from the backseat, "He hired me." Your best guess was that he was holding a gun to your head behind that seat, in case of 'funny business'.
"I'm sorry... For the loss." You reply, folding your hands in your lap, "I'm not some heartless bitch, if you think I wasn't affected by this."
"Thank you, Miss." Marco answers again, and you begin to understand that he was the one closer to James, and Francis was closer to Fisk. Somehow, it all made perfect sense. The drive is short, and you don't recognize the place you're in. Soon, both men lead you to a huge living room, and you see Fisk sitting on one of the small sofas placed around a coffee table. The place looks modernistic, yet reeks off sickening luxury. You notice a couple of familiar paintings on the walls and recall seeing them in Vanessa's exhibition. Of course, you scoff to yourself.
Fisk clears his throat, noticing you looking around. "Nice, isn't it?"
You tear your eyes away from the interior of the place and meet Fisk's eyes. "What do you want?"
"Straight to the matter, my kind of person." Fisk stands up with an effort and offers you his hand to shake. You look at it, stretched over the clear glass table, with visible disgust, but don't move a single muscle. After another moment of hanging in the air, Fisk finally takes his hand back. "Alright. Please, sit down, I prepared some tea, if you want."
You look at the cup on your side, and don't even think of drinking whatever was in there, but take a seat. That's the least you allowed yourself to do here.
"Not very talkative today, right? I believe all these new clients are really tiring for such a small company." He notices the glint in your eyes, as if you wanted to ask a question. "Even a man, such as myself, allows himself to read the local newspaper sometimes. I've noticed you've become quite a star."
"Get over this, what do you want?" You clench your jaw tightly.
"I think that, and I speak for the majority of the public of this city, you and that Devil became quite a pair." He's testing the waters, pressing your buttons, in order for you to make a scene.
"We're not a pair." You cut shortly.
"Yet, you both appear on the same side of the story." He takes a sip of his tea, the small cup looks like a toy in his big hand.
"I want nothing to do with that criminal. For me, you and him are on the same side."
"I don't work with criminals like him." Fisk says, and that almost makes you laugh.
"Yeah, right. Well, then it's between the two of you. I'll be on my way-" you shuffle on the sofa and Fisk's voice roars in the room.
"I can offer you protection."
"I don't need protection." You sit back, eyeing Francis in the corner of your eye.
"You may not feel the desire for it now, but in time, you'll look back at this moment, and wish you'd agreed. I can protect you from the media, from the Devil of Hell's Kitchen... And from the unwanted attention you might receive when the truth comes out... About certain things from your past."
"Are you threatening me?" You say calmly, although Fisk takes notice of your voice wavering.
"I am simply talking, offering... A job. It is your choice to accept... Or refuse. But you will feel the consequences of your actions."
"As will you. Although, yours will come haunting you sooner than mine."
"I believe that Wesley has let it slip about my offer before I could speak to you myself." Fisk ignores your last comment and takes another sip from the teacup.
"You know that a case is being built up against you, and you want me to defend you in court, don't you?" He nods, and you can't help but ask, "Why me? You could buy any other lawyer in the States like you bought the whole police station."
"Sometimes money isn't everything. Sometimes power comes from knowledge. I happen to know a lot."
"That sounds a lot like a threat."
Fisk only offers a small grin, but then his face becomes serious again, he turns away from the topic, "It is unfortunate that James was selected as the target to hurt me. I don't wish for that to happen to you as well."
"How did he die?" You just can't stop your curiousity, your thoughts often wandering to imagine what kind of death took Wesley's life.
"Seven shots through his chest." His face is hard, angry.
A chill goes down your spine. "Who did it?"
"That is not your concern anymore, y/n." Fisk folds his hands in front of him. "I can tell from your face that it wasn't you."
"Wesley's death is of no benefit to me." You stare at him, and the slightest nod of his head confirms that he agrees with your statement.
"I know. I was also aware... Of how close you and James became in such a short period of time." A twitch of his eyebrows made you even more curious. "When I sent James with the task of... drawing you to our side... I did not anticipate of how quickly you will wrap him in your charms... Or how unwavering you'd turn out to be." Fisk continues, carefully choosing his words, "I think that this was more... My mistake than his. But I guess love makes everyone do all sorts of things." Fisk finally lifts his eyes from the ground and notices a hard look on your face. "I believe you know this better than all of us, don't you, y/n?"
Fisk's eyes are piercing through your skull, he knows more than you'd want him to know. There's no point in lying when he has already openly threatened you. "What happened in my past, is no concern of yours, Wilson." You watch him slightly wince at the mention of his first name. Good. If he was saying yours, you could only respond with the same. "And if you think that your little show of gratitude and care will soften me enough to join you, you're wrong. Now tell me... Are you frightened?"
He stays silent, only his eyes betray that he's starting to boil inside, especially when you took control of the conversation.
"You knew that this day will come, didn't you? That's why you wanted to offer me the dirty work of cleaning up after every legal mess you left? I don't know how in the world you thought that me, the daughter of a police chief, would agree to work for a criminal such as yourself." You laugh, the irony is just too much to take, "you knew that one day all the loose ends will be tied, and you'll have to face justice, right? I bet you didn't think it's going to be some rookies from a small office, not big enough for four people to have separate rooms, who would put you in a corner." He doesn't respond, and you offer a small smile of pity, "It would be wise to admit your doings. Maybe the jury will take a pity on a poor boy who killed his father." You rise from the sofa, waiting for Fisk to protest your departure, but as he remains silent, you push past Francis and Marco, who hesitate to let you through at first, but after a single flick of Fisk's fingers, allow you to leave.
***  "What?" You stop by your car, keys hanging on your middle finger, and increase the volume on your phone. "You're kidding, right?"
"No, we got him, come to the station, he's going to confess soon." Matt sighs with relief on the other side of the phone, then adds, "I want you to be here with us."
"I... I'm on my way, just five minutes, and I'll be there."
The city was strangely empty with uneasiness, no traffic or people hurrying to work. You felt anxiety building up inside of you, especially after Fisk's threat. He's not the kind of guy to let things go easily. You park somewhere you shouldn't park, next to the station, which was full of cars and officers running around. Stepping inside, you almost collide with one officer and he apologizes, but then stops, recognizing you, "Miss y/l/n, hi!"
"Officer..." you look at his name tag again, just like the first time, when you questioned him about Tully. "Wright... Harry! Hello." You smile at the blonde man, a bit surprised.
"Hey, you remembered! Sorry, I'd love to talk more but we have this guy here, he's about to say something, I gotta go!"
"Wait, is it Hoffman? I'm going there too."
"Really? Well, then let's go, I'll accompany you." Harry starts surfing through the crowd, taking long strides, and you were glad that you put on ankle boots rather than high heels and managed to not lose him in the maze of corridors.  "Here, I'm not supposed to go inside." He stops by the closed door and you only nod to him before Karen opens the door and quickly pulls you inside.
She lets go of your wrist and hurries back to the table, where you notice Mahoney, two other officers, Hoffman, Matt and Foggy sitting before a small pile of papers, and a camera, ready to start recording and three more people sitting on the opposite side of the table. You stay close to the door, not wanting to cause more ruckus by sitting with the crew, or earning more side glances from the officers.
Foggy begins, noticing that the camera was already recording, "As we stated on the phone, our client is willing to be placed in protective custody and waive all considerations for immunity."
Wait. Our client? How much did you miss?
"In exchange for what?" The woman in the middle asks, solely focusing on Foggy, but Matt answers instead.
"Nothing. Detective Hoffman regrets his involvement in Wilson Fisk's criminal enterprise and seeks only to unburden himself in the eyes of God and the state of New York. Detective?"
"I've taken money, a lot of money, to do things for - For Fisk. I'm not the only one. There's cops, lawyers, judges... At least one senator I know of."
Your heart skips a beat. Did Fisk tell him about the plan to get you to work for him?
"Start from the beginning. Names, dates, I want it all." The woman orders, clicking her pen.
"My partner and I were first approached by a man working for Wilson Fisk 18 months ago." Wesley. Even dead, he couldn't escape justice.
***
After the absolute rollercoaster of information, you step out into the corridor and see a group of men with FBI jackets forcing their way into the station, grabbing some of the officers and pushing them out. You notice Harry looking around with panic in his eyes and one of the FBI agents grabs him by the elbow. Harry turns back to say something to you, perhaps to apologize, but you can only look at him with wide eyes, full of betrayal.
Someone taps your shoulder, and for a second you think you're going to get carried out too, but then you see a familiar tall figure. "Hello, you."
"Dex? You're here too?" You sigh with relief.
"Yeah, I'm here to take you." He says with a serious face.
"What?"
A laugh leaves his lips, "Sorry, I'm joking, y/n. You should've seen your face." He crosses his arms on his chest, and you take notice of his biceps popping out under the jacket.
"I've been in there during the whole confession and still fell for it." You laugh a little, "Busy day for you guys, huh?"
"Honestly, the best day. Listen, I have to go, so... Don't get dragged out with the rest of these scumbags." He puts a hand on your shoulder, gently squeezing it. You don't respond, but get a feeling that he enjoyed the slight touch more than you did. Dex disappears behind the corner and you sigh again, resting your back against the cold wall.
***  "No, Foggy, I'm not drinking in the broad daylight!" You push away a full glass of champagne once again and lean back in your chair, it was starting to get dark, but you refused the drink simply because you were driving. "So it was you who found that building where Hoffman was hiding?" You turn to your left to look at Karen, and she nods, eyes bright, her skin flushed pink from laughing and drinking. If you counted correctly, it was her 3rd full glass in the last half an hour.
Karen puts a strand of her hair behind her ear and smiles at her last night's finding. "Yeah, I was... I couldn't sleep so started reading all the papers that we had and when I thought I was going to fall asleep without anything, I found it."
"Yeah, I still don't understand how did Hoffman willingly go to confess." You scruch your nose at the acidic smell of champagne when Foggy spills half of the glass on the table.
"I told Matt and Foggy about what I found and... Matt said that..." Her pink cheeks suddenly redden, "he was approached by the man in the mask."
"Oh." You say, both surprised and disappointed for being left out in such a big breakthrough. "So, if I understand it correctly, you and the Devil worked together on this case... Did he beat up Hoffman into confessing? He looked pretty... under the weather."
"Hey, it's done what it's done, Fisk is going to jail, that's all that matters." Foggy says, clearly already affected by the alcohol. "Marci has helped too, big time. God bless Marci and her designer pumps." He drinks again, and you almost cringe at the last comment.
Matt listens to your heartbeat, but it's so out of place that it makes him confused.
"Okay, so if we're... sharing secrets in this circle..." you clear your throat, "because well, apparently this was your secret. I met with Fisk yesterday."
"What?" All three of them ask in a chorus, all eyes on you.
"Yeah. Thought I'd keep this to myself, but since we're so honest now... He asked me to work for him. Again. He knew that he was going to prison, so, naturally, he needed a lawyer for the appeal of the decision."
"What do you mean again?" Karen asks, looking at you as if you did the biggest crime known to a man.
"Wesley let it slip that Fisk wants to have me, but he didn't tell why." Matt and Foggy already knew about it, so this didn't shock them as much as it did Karen. "Turns out this whole 'romance' was just a way to sway me to their side. I refused then, I refused last night again. He...  Didn't look scared, or didn't flee the country for that matter." You slightly shake your head, eyes sliding to the computer screen, where the news channel was showing them pushing Fisk into an FBI van.
"He's an idiot then, he's going to lose everything and rot his life in jail." Foggy scoffs, finishing the remaining champagne.
"A man who's about to lose everything isn't so calm." You say after a moment of silence. "Trust me, I've seen it in court, more than once. I have a feeling that he has a backup plan. Someone who's been building his empire in secret for so long just can't go away so easily."
Karen puts a hand on your palm, gently squeezing. "I'm sorry. For everything."
***
"Matt, where are you going, let me take you home!" You shout, hurrying down the stairs to catch up with him, Foggy and Karen following you a bit slower.
"I'll grab a cab, it's fine, you drive out of here quicker before the traffic begins." He responds, disappearing out through the exit door before you can stop him.
"Ass!" You shout when the doors slam, and turn around, "anyone need a lift? It will be quicker than getting a cab now."
"No, I live on the other side of the town," Karen walks right past you and Foggy looks apologetically, "I'm going to Marci's, sorry."
He disappears in the street as well, and you notice how he catches up to say something to Matt, both of them almost arguing, and then Matt catches a cab. You shake your head, and hurry to your car, before someone accidentally scratched it. After Fisk's play with the FBI and his grand escape, the whole city fell into a frenzy, everyone hurrying to either take cover, or go see the last dance of the fallen 'hero' of Hell's Kitchen.
***
"Daredevil?" You ask again, as Karen reads the newspaper headline.
"Yeah, daredevil." She confirms, turning to show you the newspaper.
"Oh, another fancy first page for the devil." You blow a cloud of smoke and laugh a little. It was a relief to know that Fisk was finally where he belonged. Finally with no backup plans. Justice was best served cold.
"Sounds like he's gonna jump Snake River Canyon on his rocket cycle." Foggy laughs, trying to make the sign of 'Nelson and Murdock Attorneys at Law' straighter.
"It kinda does, doesn't it?" Matt nudges your elbow and you silently pass the cigarette.
"Okay, okay. I thought it was a bit goofy at first, but it kinda grows on you. And it's better than the Devil of Hell's Kitchen anyway." Karen responds, giving Matt a disapproving look.
"Not wrong there." He gives you the cigarette back, pushing his hands into the pockets of his coat.
"I cannot believe this is the same guy that stopped that Union Allied nut from stabbing me in my apartment. That is a serious upgrade." Karen says and steps further way to look at the sign.
"I don't know, I think the horns are a bit much." Foggy comments, looking at the sign as well.
"Although I still think he's an asshole, I kind of owe him for saving my life. More than once." You say, exhaling the last smoke and drop the cigarette on the ground.
"Wow, today truly is a great day." Foggy teases, and finally shows you what he's been working on for the last fifteen minutes. "Well?"
"Looks great!"
Matt steps closer to the wall, with Foggy's help, and you watch how his fingers trace the letters. "Nelson and Murdock. Avocados at law."
"Avocados?" You and Karen ask at the same time, looking at the two men laugh. This is what Nelson and Murdock is about - friendship. You no longer feel the same ache you felt when you left LA and Pug behind to return to Hell's Kitchen, no, it was different. Everything was different now. New feelings, new friendships, new people, but still the same desire to serve Lady Justice. You can't stop your lips from twitching into a smile.
"It's a long story. Which I do not have time to tell you. Promised Marci I'd help her find a new job since most of the partners at Landman and Zack are under indictment." Foggy puts a firm hand on Matt's shoulder and they hug.
"Oh? You two getting back together?" Karen asks, although you had your suspicions about them being back together for a while now.
"No. I don't know. Maybe." Foggy comes and hugs you, which takes you by surprise, and Karen too.
"Well, thank her for us. For everything she did helping bring Fisk down."
"Fisk still needs to go to trial. Just getting a court date on a case this big could take a year." Foggy shrugs and fixes his jacket.
Karen's face shows surprise and it makes you smile at her lack of legal knowledge. "That long?"
"He's where he belongs, that's all that matters. And we put him there." Matt comes closer, hand searching in the air to grab your elbow. You relax under his touch and let yourself finally enjoy the sun and the slight breeze.
"Alright, gotta go, see you, partners!" Foggy hurries away, leaving you, Karen and Matt on the street. Suddenly your phone rings and you excuse yourself.
"Hey, Karen." Matt begins, turning in Karen's direction.
"Yeah?"
"There's been something in your voice. It's been there for a while now. I thought whatever it was, whatever's been, I thought it would get better once Fisk was put away, but it hasn't, has it?" He asks softly, eyebrows twitching ever so lightly.
Karen feels tears collecting in her eyes, but quickly blinks them away. "We put him away, yeah but it won't bring back Elena or Ben or erase what we've been through, or what we've had to do to get here."
"Yeah. A lot of decisions I'd give anything to go back and change. But I can't. None of us can. It's like I told Foggy, all we can do is move forward together." Matt extends his hand and squeezes Karen's in a reassuring manner.
"Yeah. Come on, let's get  to work."

Worst Day, Part 2 (Alexia Putellas x Reader)
Read Part 1
🥴
Alexia groaned as her eyes fluttered open. She didn't recognize the ceiling above, causing her to look to her left to try to orient herself. Her eyes met yours and she scrunched her forehead.
“Hey, baby, how are you feeling?” you asked, walking up to the bed.
“I’m not a baby. I’m 28 years old," she answered.
You tried not to laugh at the response. Alexia had undergone surgery on her ACL and the doctor had told you that she may be slightly out of it for a few hours after waking up. At least she was alert enough to know her age. "Excuse my mistake." You bit the inside of your cheek. Alexia's eyes wandered around the room, taking in her mom and sister on the other side of the bed. "How are you feeling, Alexia?"
“Mama," Alexia tried to whisper, turning her head towards her mom, "why does she keep talking to me? I thought I asked for the media not to be let in.” Alexia's hearing was still off from the drugs, though because she was actually very loudly whispering, sending Alba into a fit of giggles in the corner.
“She’s not the media, Ale.”
“Well, she keeps asking how I am. She’s not my doctor. She’s got boobs. My doctor didn't have boobs. And she's not a nurse.” She looked at you out of the corner of her eye, trying to figure out who you are.
You tried to smile at her. "I'm Y/N."
Alexia turned back to her mom with terror in her eyes. "Mama? Can you make her stand over there?" she asked, pointing to the other side of the room. "She's too pretty. She's distracting me."
"What's she distracting you from, mija?"
"Um." Alexia tried to think. "I don't know," she finally answered.
"Alexia, that's Y/N, your wife, you doofus," Alba said from the corner. Their mom turned around to shush her.
"My wife? That's my wife?" Her head whipped around to look at you, her eyes widening slightly. "You're my wife? Holy shit."
"Mija, do you want some water?" Her mom picked up the cup and tried to put the straw between her lips.
"No, no." She pushed the straw away from her. "How long have you been my wife?" she asked, with wonder in her voice.
"A while," you answered, laughing. "Can you drink some of that water, please?"
"You're so pretty. I'll do anything you ask me." She took the water from her mom and tried to drink. Except she kept missing her mouth with the straw.
You let out a tiny laugh after the fourth failed attempt to get the straw and reached out to help her. You held the straw to her lips while she took a long drink.
"Hmm," she said, leaning her head back against the pillow. "Thank you."
"I'll just go call the doctor," her mom said, gesturing towards the door. You nodded.
"Wait, don't leave me here!" Alexia yelled. Alba stood up, moving to her sister's side.
"You'll be fine. She'll only be gone a minute." Alba nodded at her mom to go.
"Alba, hermana," she said, trying to whisper again. "Why did this lady marry me? She's too pretty to be married to me."
Alba didn't even try to hide her laugh. "I asked her why many times before the wedding. But maybe you should ask her."
"Why did you marry me?" she asked, turning her head to look at you. "I don't know you. I've never even met you. How could you marry someone you've never met? That seems strange. You're strange." Her eyebrows scrunched.
"You're just so charming," you laughed. "That's why I married you."
"Did you hear that, Alba? I'm charming," she said, dragging the last word out.
"Yeah, yeah, you're Prince fucking Charming," Alba answered sarcastically. She ducked when you reached across the bed to smack the side of her head. "What was that for?"
"Be nice," you warned.  You looked down at Alexia again. She was staring at her hands. "What's the matter, love?"
"Do you mean to tell me these hands have," her eyes widened, looking at you again, "touched you?"
You slapped a hand over Alexia's mouth as Alba burst out laughing and the door opened. Her mom and the doctor walked back in. Fearing embarrassment that you would never be able to live down, you kept your hand over Alexia's mouth, even as you felt her start to open her mouth. You weren't expecting her to bite you.
"Ow, Alexia!" you yelped, pulling your hand away.
"You're not into biting, then?"
"Alexia! Shut up, your mom is here. Please for the love of god, stop talking."
The doctor tried to hide his amusement. "This is all very normal. Patients often aren't aware of what they're saying."
"Oh, but I'm aware and I'll be sure to remind her," Alba said, smiling widely at you as you glared at her. "As often as possible."

Thank you! I really love when I get feedback it makes my heart flutter every time <3 Thank you for your constant request! <3
WARNINGS!!: Mentions of blood, A knife, and jealousy.
Eddie was fuming on the inside and smiling on the outside but Chrissy could see right through that. He watched HIS little one giggling with Jason Carver, She was sitting on his lap playing with his hair and giggling when he would make a funny face when you would gently pull it something that you and Eddie did. And the others from the hellfire club could see him upset so they stared him down sending him death glares when he looked up sending shivers down his spine. Eddie had nothing against Jason, he just didn’t like her around him, And when he started tickling her he lost it and got up.
“Hey hey! Eddie!” Was heard from Dustin but he ignored it and carried on walking up to Jason only to pick you up, you gasping in surprise. For him to put you on his side glaring at him. “Eddie, please be nice, they were just playing!” Chrissy said “No.” Eddie said walking away with you laying your head on his shoulder and sucking your thumb “Dada wha wronwgs?” you asked with a soft voice “Nothing kitten daddy’s okay” he said sitting down and waiting for the day to be over. And after all his classes he was walking in the hallway and stopped when he seen you crying and chrissy yelling at jason  while on the floor holding your badly bleeding hand with a crowd around them, Eddie squeezing past he seen his little one’s hand bleeding with a stuffie that had a tag on it that was covered in blood with little dent in it and jason with a knife in hand a and Eddie put two and two together.
He didn’t mean too “Hey baby” Eddie said Which stopped her yelling as she sighed “He didn’t mean to, he gave her a new stuffie and tried to cut the tag off and accidentally cut her because he Didn’t Take The Bear From Her First” He said raising his voice slightly and chrissy calmed down and said thank you but still threatened him that if her little get hurt around him again and she whispered the rest in his ear his eyes widening and him stuttering out a ‘y-yes m-ma’am’ leaving everyone confused.
Now they were at home cuddling and y/n’s hand was wrapped and she was sleeping with her paci as Eddie stroked her hair and chrissy patted her back. As Chrissy went to sleep as well Eddie said “I love you my girls. Always and Forever.” He said turning the lights off and laying down going to dream land himself.

GhostSpirit: Chapter 1
Evan Ghost steps out of the shower, towels wrapped around his head and waist. He grabs his phone and turns down the music he was playing. It's Twenty One Pilots. He looks into the mirror at his chest. Two light scars can be seen. He smiles. It has been a year since his family where able to get him top surgery. He is proud of this fact.
"Its a trophy for all the BS life throws at me, at least I can be happy in my own skin finally."
He rushes to his room to get changed. Black hoodie, blue pants with a white stripe around the thighs, and signature red beanie. With comfy clothes on he heads to the bathroom again. Looking in the mirror again, bright orange hair is a mess. Would be worse putting on the beanie now. His hair is moderately long, just enough to come down to the middle of his neck or so and peek out the back of the hat. He oddly finds brushing his hair relaxing. Texture reasons. Nice and smooth the brush slides though. His eyes are two colors, red and purple. Normally the his hair fringe hides the red one. Something about it just felt. .. Odd.
"Evan!" A woman's voice shouts from downstairs. "Are you almost done? Don't you have a call with your friends soon?"
He perks up "Oh yea! I do! Thanks mom!!... I can't believe I almost forgot."
He leaves the bathroom ready for the day.
Its 1:02pm...
Before heading to his room he heads downstairs led by his stomach and the taste for something that is not water.
"Hi mom." he says looking though the fridge. "Do we have any mango nectar juice stuff?"
Evan's mom, Cynthia Ghost, is making breakfast for lunch. "Did you drink the gallon already? We just got that!"
"Haha! I found it... damn. One cup left. Ah well." He closes the fridge and takes the mango drink to the counter.
"Evan, you know I'm proud of you right?"
He turns to his mom after grabbing a cup from the cabinet. "What did I do this time?" He asks knowing that this is a good thing and not a normal "oh no what did I do bad" thing.
"Your decision to go independent. The move."
"Oh, yea, " Even completely blocked this from his mind. Too overwhelming. "Yea, I mean like, life is a thing heh."
"Would you like some help packing?"
"PLEASE!" he finishes pouring out the drink and goes to toss the gallon jug in the recycling.
"I know, its scary, you're going to a nice place. I grew up there." She says this with a sadness.
Evan doesn't pick up on it instead thinking "ok its safe if mom lived there."
He quickly glances at the time.
"GWH!! IM GINNA BE LATE!"
"DONT SPILL!"
Evan takes his mango deliciousness upstairs to his room and sets it on a green resin coaster with a Bulbasaur Pokémon card embedded into it. He opens up discord. The call has already started.

10 Proven Tricks and Tips for Rapid Weight Loss in One Month: Your Ultimate Guide to Jumpstart Your Weight Loss Journey
Tumblr media
Are you looking to shed some pounds quickly? If you want to jumpstart your weight loss journey and see noticeable results in just one month, then you're in the right place! Here are 10 effective tricks and tips to help you achieve rapid weight loss in 30 days.
Set Achievable Goals: The first step in any weight loss plan is to set realistic and achievable goals. Don't aim to lose an unrealistic amount of weight in a short time frame, as it can be harmful to your health. Aim for a weight loss of 1-2 pounds per week, which is considered healthy and sustainable.
Create a Calorie Deficit: Weight loss ultimately comes down to burning more calories than you consume. Calculate your daily caloric needs and create a calorie deficit by consuming fewer calories than you burn. Focus on nutrient-dense, low-calorie foods such as vegetables, fruits, lean proteins, and whole grains.
Monitor Your Portions: Be mindful of your portion sizes. Use smaller plates, bowls, and cups to trick your mind into thinking you're eating more. Avoid eating large meals late at night, and don't skip meals as it can lead to overeating later on.
Stay Hydrated: Drinking enough water is essential for weight loss. It can help boost your metabolism, curb your appetite, and keep you feeling full. Aim to drink at least 8-10 glasses of water per day, and avoid sugary drinks or alcohol as they can add empty calories to your diet.
Increase Physical Activity: Incorporate regular exercise into your routine to boost your weight loss efforts. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity per week, such as brisk walking, cycling, or swimming. You can also add strength training exercises to build muscle, which can help increase your metabolism.
Cut Out Added Sugars and Processed Foods: Added sugars and processed foods are high in empty calories and can contribute to weight gain. Avoid sugary snacks, candies, sodas, and processed foods such as fast food, frozen meals, and sugary cereals. Instead, opt for whole, unprocessed foods such as fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and healthy fats.
Plan Your Meals: Planning your meals in advance can help you make healthier choices and avoid impulsive eating. Create a meal plan for the week, and make a grocery list before heading to the store. Cook at home as much as possible, so you have control over the ingredients and portion sizes.
Get Enough Sleep: Sleep plays a crucial role in weight loss. Lack of sleep can disrupt your hormones, increase your appetite, and affect your metabolism. Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep per night to support your weight loss goals.
Manage Stress: Stress can lead to emotional eating and sabotage your weight loss efforts. Find healthy ways to manage stress, such as meditation, yoga, deep breathing exercises, or engaging in hobbies and activities that you enjoy.
Stay Accountable: Keep track of your progress by weighing yourself regularly, taking measurements, or keeping a food journal. Having a support system, such as a friend, family member, or a weight loss group, can also help you stay accountable and motivated.
In conclusion, rapid weight loss in one month is possible with the right strategies in place. Remember to set realistic goals, create a calorie deficit, eat nutrient-dense foods, stay active, get enough sleep, manage stress, and stay accountable. With consistency and determination, you can achieve your weight loss goals and improve your overall health and

can you please do a part 2 of “never again”? with natasha and reader talking about their relationship 🥺
Never Again Part 2 (Request)
Word Count: 1,175
Warning: Underage drinking/hangover
Age: 18
Requests: Closed
Summary: You called Natasha mom the night before and you both talk about your feelings.
Requested by: Anonymous
Part 1
---------⧗---------
Natasha's POV
I woke up and the first thing that I do is check my phone its not even 7 am yet I'm glad that I woke up before my alarm so that Y/N doesn't get woken up by it.
I want her to get as much sleep as possible I know the second that she wakes up the hangover headache is going to be the first thing that she gets hit with and it's never a good feeling especially when it's the first time experiencing it.
I quietly get up out of bed and sneak out of her room and headed to my own to get changed since I am still in the clothes I was wearing yesterday.
After I changed into some comfortable clothes I made my way downstairs I really need a coffee right now.
I walked into the kitchen and Steve was sitting at the table reading a newspaper and drinking coffee.
"Morning." He greeted me looking up from his paper.
"Morning," I replied to him as I reached up to grab a mug.
"You sit down I'll make it for you," Steve said walking over to me and taking the mug from my hand.
"No, you don't have to," I said trying to get the mug back from him.
"It's fine, plus you're going to have your hands full today."
I gave him a small smile and walked over to sit at the table.
"She's going to be extremely hungover when she wakes up," Steve says bringing the cup of coffee over sitting down on the chair opposite me.
"I'm hoping for it maybe it will not want her to drink any time in the future," I said taking a sip of the coffee.
Steve didn't say anything he just let out a light chuckle.
"She said something last night and I haven't stopped thinking about it. She called me mom." I blurted out.
"Are you surprised?"
"What do you mean?" I ask him.
"Come on, Nat, she has been your daughter since we rescued her you're the one who has been raising her."
"She's had you and the rest of the team that has raised her too it's not just been me.
"You're the one that she always goes to when she is sick and she wants hugs, or when she's injured it's mostly you that she'll go to for help."
"That doesn't mean anything."
"How about last year when she got broken up with. Everyone tried to get her to talk but the only person that she would speak to about it was you. You're her everything she looks up to you in every way possible."
I was about to open my mouth to say something but we got interrupted by the sound of footsteps and groaning as Y/N walked into the kitchen.
She walked over to the table and held out her hands,
"Can you hold me?" Y/N groaned.
I let out a light laugh, stood up and walked over to her gently pulling her into me.
"Come on, you, let's sit down," I led her to the chair that I was sitting on and she slowly sat down and put her head on the table.
I got some painkillers from the cabinet and a bottle of water from the fridge and placed them on the table in front of Y/N.
"Sit up and take these," I said a bit more demanding than I meant to.
"I am never drinking again," Y/N said then she took the medicine and placed her head back on the table.
"That's my girl." I rubbed her back.
Clint walked into the kitchen and over to us.
"Morning, Y/N," He shouted slamming his hand on the table beside her head and it caused her to moan in pain.
I shot him a look and he has known me well enough to know what that look meant.
"Sorry, kid," He quickly apologised then walked away to pour himself some coffee.
I then went on a placed my hand on Y/N's head and started to massage her scalp to at least attempt to relieve any of the pain.
"Can you both give us a minute," I asked them
Thankfully, without question, they both got up and left as Steve was walked past he smiled at me as if he knew what I was going to say to her.
"Y/N, sweetheart, can you sit up I need to talk to you about something," I said sitting on the chair beside her and started rubbing her back.
"What is it?" She asked warily as she sat up.
Going by the look on her face I can tell that she's probably thinking that I'm going to yell at her or something.
"It's alright, you don't have to worry," I reassured her.
She relaxed ever so slightly but I can tell that she was still
worried.
I honestly don't know where to start but I need to tell her, she needs to know, so she doesn't continue the rest of her life thinking that she never had a mother who loved her.
"Y/N, I..." I began to say
"Sweetheart, you spent so much of your life alone and scared and I need you to know that you're never going to be alone again I'm never going to leave you."
"I know you won't Nat"
"I mean not just as your friend but as your mother. Just because you called me mom last night I don't want you to feel pressured that you have to think of me as your mom or any..."
Y/N leapt up from the chair and into my arms.
"I wanted to call you mom for so long but I've always been scared to in case you didn't want me as your daughter and it would ruin our relationship."
I heard that Y/N was crying. I pulled her away from me then I cupped her face and wiped the tears away.
"it's okay, honey, don't cry, nothing will ever ruin our relationship okay?."
Y/N nodded her head.
"I love you so much, sweetheart,"
"I love you too mama," Y/N says whilst grinning. Her smile instantly makes me smile.
I have been wanting so long for the day that she calls me mama and it has been definitely worth it.
"So what do you want to do today," I ask brushing the hair out of Y/N's face.
"I don't know," Y/N says shrugging her shoulder.
"How about this you take a shower then after I can braid your hair and we can watch a movie?"
"Yeah, that sounds good."
---------⧗---------
After Y/N showered and I braided her hair we were both snuggled up in my bed watching The Little Mermaid at a very low volume since Y/N was still suffering from the hangover headache.
We ended up both asleep till late afternoon and by then Y/N's headache was almost gone and she was back to her normal self.
I was so blessed after all those years that I can finally call Y/N my own.

Kemetic Alcoholic Offering Recipe (from scratch)
Hello everyone, I'm giving you this updated recipe for that "Egyptian beer" post I made like 2 years ago.
Recipe, primary fermentation:
2.5 lb of honey, preferred wildflower but others work. Local is always good!
32 oz of pure pomegranate juice
water to top this mixture up to 1 gallon.
A packet of yeast, bread yeast will work but any wine yeast is preferable for a more predictable result.
Mix this all together and put it in a container large enough to hold that gallon without a lot of air above the liquid. (Please please please sanitize whatever you and the mead touch prior to making this. StarSan is a great brewing sanitizer, .2 oz makes a whole gallon. A bleach mixture works too, just rinse very well, or send it through your dishwasher on sanitize) You'll need an airlock of some sort, they're really cheap, or if you're just experimenting, you can tie a cloth/paper towel over the hole and put a cup over it. Balloons with a pin hole or a medical glove with a pin hole will work too. Anything that lets air breathe out but not go in will avoid overoxygenation and mold. Too much oxygen exposure after fermentation starts can lead to some off flavors, but it's rarely something you need to really worry about.
Secondary Fermention:
At this point, you are 2 weeks or more from when you first mixed everything together to let it ferment. The yeast should be settling at the bottom and the drink should be clearing up. If you'd like, you can siphon off of the yeast that has settled at the bottom, into a new container. This way your offering wont taste so yeasty and you won't accidentally mix it up. Next we have some optional but delicious additions:
2-3 medjool dates, whatever dates you can find, dice them up and carefully drop them into the container you are fermenting in.
1/2 tbsp of dried rose petals
1 tbsp of Nile lotus petals
I need to give a small heads up about the Nile lotus petals. You'll have to order them online, you probably won't need a lot. Also, it has the property to make medication you've taken for the day useless. It's not 100% like that but that IS a property of the flower, I just want to make that clear. If you take anything live saving or for mental health, please just leave it out. Otherwise it's just a small unique tasty addition that I like to add, as it relates to the Nile.
Sidenote, you could try chamomile instead?? idk.
Let those ingredients sit in the container for about 2, 2.5 weeks max. If you siphoned the mead off of the yeast previously, you could siphon off again to leave behind the dates/flowers, or you can just strain them out.
From here you can bottle it and put it in the fridge. For bottling, those cheap swing top bottles are always a great option, or if you get fancy with it you can use an old empty wine bottle and buy yourself corks and a corker (not too expensive imo, just be prepared to put it somewhere)
Personally I like to let mine age at least a month or two to let the flavors come together into a much more finished product, but you can wait longer if you'd like. Refrigerating isn't super important but since it uses fruit, I'd recommend it.
If anyone has any questions, I'd love to answer.
I love this recipe, came up with it myself. It's technically a mead and not a beer, but perhaps I'll see about making a beer recipe too (just some different ingredients, malt extract instead of honey)
Dua Netjeru!

People were saying to me, "so when did you learn to cook? The last time we saw you you had no idea how to and were afraid of it?" and like yes, true, but firstly, circumstance forces you to cook, and I just googled a bunch of things and fearfully followed recipes to a tee. Then again, I did at least know how to boil eggs and make toast, so I knew in the very worst case, I could fall back on egg and bread. Meagre, but there's comfort in knowing it! Also, I was scared as hell the first time I boiled pasta. It sounds so tiny and ridiculous, but of course we all have a first time we've boiled pasta. It's just that for some of us, that first time is when there's no one around to save our arses (or embarrass us, depending on how you are looking at it).
But once I'd made that first pasta, ridiculously basic, yes, but a finished meal: pull up a reference website, boil water, add salt, add pasta, set timer, turn off heat, carefully! (important: carefully!!) remove the vessel from the heat. Use mittens if you have them, use three layers of cloth/towels if you have those, but use something! Taking a metal pot that's had boiling water for 14 minutes is no joke, heat-wise! Drain the pasta into a colander, but keep maybe a cup of the whitish starch water.
Take a prepared pasta sauce to begin, in a saucepan/skillet, whatever you call a wide cooking bowl with a handle on the side. Use a small bit of butter or oil and heat up the sauce. Add a little bit of the water you saved to it, if you think the sauce is too thick (it's starchy, so it'll do the opposite of washing away the sauce. It'll help it stick better to the pasta). Then add the pasta in, and just turn it in the pan till the sauce coats the pasta. If you're thinking about nutrition, throw in some veggies: any veggies! Any's better than none. Voila, you're done!
Actually I'll summarise if anyone wants a reference but
- Boil water: the more the better! Your pasta needs place to cook. 2 cups for every 1 cup of pasta will do, but you won't go wrong with more (it'll take more time to boil though)
- Add salt generously! When you can see bubbles of boiling water, add some salt. Mix it for a couple of seconds. I say generously because the pasta will absorb some salty flavour as you cook. You won't be drinking that water, so you should be okay sodium-wise
- Add pasta! Done salting? Add the pasta in. Be careful here too! If you dump it all in too fast or from a height, the boiling water may splash up and it'll hurt for a little while. You don't want water burns, but don't let it intimidate you: in this case, it's easy to be careful.
- Boil for approx. 14 minutes! Again, pasta is kinda fool-proof, so it's hard to over-do it, and you can just continue to boil under-done pasta. Dip in a fork, pull one out and bite it to see if it's done to your liking yet. If it's still chewy (has more "bite") or sticks to your teeth, drop it right back in. We're not eating uncooked flour.
- Turn off heat and drain carefully! Take it off the gas. If you like, let it cool for a bit. Save some pasta water and then drain the rest
- Cook the pasta! Add sauce to a pan, heat it up, add a grease if you please: butter, oil, etc., thin it with pasta water if needed, add the pasta and coat it in the sauce. Add veg or meat if you please! (Potatoes seem to make everything so smooth, so if you go for that, slice some potatoes small and dump them in to boil with the pasta you did earlier. The thought of slice and chop scary? We'll take that up next time!)
- Eat! For the love of everything, eat, you need nutrition. And take pride in your work: you've made your own food!
It gave me so much more confidence to have made one (1) pasta that I thought I could make the world. I tried (and kinda failed?) at meringues before the next weekend was over (some of us were here on this blog and had to experience that through text. I'm sorry)
I had fam over and they were pretty impressed with my Progress™. Some of it is just sheer fucking boredom: I think if I realised that, at least with lockdowns (in whatever form) and the fact that I live far from downtown in a new city and there are no gigs on, nor have I any friends to do the scene with; work would become the main thing in my life and I think the shock and sadness of that would drive me mad. I did need something to do, and the thing that picked itself just happened to be self-sustenance.
And it seems it can't be helped: some of us happen to be exclusively good at things our dads would deem unmarketable skills.
