This was easily one of the BEST weeks of my life. Granted, JANBA is ALWAYS one of my favorite weeks ever. But.. this one was different. Coming into the week knowing my brother wouldn’t be there and I had the opportunity to go back-to-back in the first 3 events of the week, there were a lot of nerves and a ton of pressure.. • It’s safe to say that maybe a lot of things fell my way this week, and maybe a couple things didn’t. But I wouldn’t trade this week for anything in the world. I ended up going back-to-back in the 4 Game Classic, Chad and I defended our title in Mixed Doubles, and our team fought hard to go back-to-back during Team Event. Mom and I lost Doubles by 6 and I fell short during Singles by 3. I did end up taking home All Events and Overall Events for the week, and 5/7 ain’t too shabby. I threw my GB2, Black Widow Hybrid 2.0, and The One all week. I felt like I threw the ball well majority of the week, and I’m slowly learning that you “can’t win ‘em all”. 😝 • Lastly.. I’m grateful to have such beautiful humans constantly supporting me, lifting me up, and being the best support system I could ever ask for. I’ve been blessed to be surrounded by folks who inspire me to be the best me possible in all ways, on and off the lanes. • Thank you to the Denver committee, Holiday Lanes, and everyone involved for doing such an amazing job in running this tournament. Lord knows it ain’t easy, and y’all absolutely killed it!
