she loves the flower bracelet you gave her so much! wears it whenever possible

you made her a bracelets instead of a crown due to her horns, they’re made of quinxen flowers

she does eat flowers but she will never think of eating the bracelet, it means so much to her

once ninnguang pointed it out, causing ganyu to fluster and ask if it was inappropriate to wear. ninnguang just said that it was cute

cloud retainer lowkey gets jealous, but no need to worry, cause you made her a flower crown not long after :)

XIAO

when you gave him a flower crown, he accepted it, he seemed confused at first, muttering about ‘human influences on adepti nowadays’, but he actually wears it whenever possible (just not in front of people, he doesn’t want them knowing he’s actually a big softie)

once accidentally forgot to take it off when he had a small meet up with zhongli, safe to say, xiao was a flustered mess after that encounter. whenever he sees zhongli he can’t stop thinking about that encounter, still haunts him till this day

appreciates that you made flower crowns for his adepti friends that passed centuries ago, he placed them in places that they used to frequent

ZHONGLI

he wears it 24/7, you can’t change my mind

initially thinks you’re giving her a snack, but then when you explain she’s suppose to wear it, she does so

she asks you how to make flower crowns/bracelets cause she’s intrigued by their existence

she’s a quick learner so she quickly learns how to make a flower crown. sadly she sometimes breaks them due to her strength

Hii! My b-day was on 8 of oct but I had to celebrate it today (2 weeks later). I threw a party, and invited 9 people, yet nobody showed up. Not even my closest friends. You sighed quietly, watching as droopy streamers started fall from their places and brightly coloured balloons deflated by the second, even the cake looked depressed. It was your birthday and no one even bothered to show up..."What a great day to have been born..."

"Oh ho ho, someone has such a frown! Perhaps I can aid you in turning it upside down!" You perked up slightly upon hearing Ventis familiar happy go lucky voice, maybe no one else had shown up...but he had and you couldn't be more thankful, "Venti! You made it...thank you!" He chuckled sweetly, pleased beyond belief that he could make the most beautiful person in the world smile, "Of course I made it! It's your birthday and I want it to be a very happy one! Speaking of which, it's not much because...ehe I'm not the best with mora but..."

Your cheeks blushed a pink tint as the bard held out a small gift for you,...the first one you'd open. "You really didn't have to you know..."

"Of course I did! What kind of person doesn't bring a gift to someone's birthday, especially when that someone is as amazing as you!"

You bit your bottom lip, feeling slightly flustered as you opened the box...lifting up the lid to reveal a quill pen and ink, along with what seemed to be a small handmade notebook. The feather of the pen was what caught you eye as it was a bright sky blue decorated with small jewels of your favourite colours, "It's goregous Venti..."

"I figured together we could write fun memories in it and then one day after its full, I can use it to write songs for us both about our favourite moments."

𑁍༄Xiao:

"Are you...alright?"

That question seemed to sting more than it normally did, not only because the answer was a painful one...but because it was being asked on a day that should have made you happy...one that should have been all about you, if only people had actually showed up. "I'm...as alright as I can be. At least your here, I think if you hadn't appeared, I truly would have had to of celebrated all alone."

"Normally...I don't show up for birthdays, I find them crowded and feel that you should celebrate ones birth everyday, but your birthday is a special one. Someone as wonderful as you... deserves to be celebrated. I...even got you you a gift...though it may not be anything you enjoy."

You smiled slightly, watching as Xiao sat down beside you...setting a messily wrapped gift in your lap, "Xiao...I am going to love whatever you may give me, because it's from you."

His heart raced in his chest and as you began to open his gift he silently prayed to the geo archon you'd like what he got you, he'd spent hours choosing it.

You gasped, shocked to bouquet of Qinxing wrapped in adepti sigils, each of them were beautiful and smelled of the mountain tops..you couldn't even begin to imagine how long it took him to gather them all, "Xiao I-"

"The sigils will make it so they never wilt, they will always remain how they look right now...a symbol..of how I feel for you. A love that will never cease."

Ganyu pulled you close, resting her head on top of yours while she hummed a lullaby and rubbed your back, hoping she could at least ease the pain you were feeling. Not even in her wildest dreams could she imagine how anyone wouldn't want to attend your birthday, she thought of you as the most amazing person to ever exist...a star roaming amongst a sea of darkness and a day to celebrate you to her...was something incredibly special.

"I'm so sorry no one else made it...perhaps they all got caught up with work or other things and just couldn't get out of it?"

"I have a gift for you, I thought long and hard about it, made sure it was absolutely perfect for you." She moved away from you just long enough to retrieve the gift, it was wrapped in a pale blue paper and scented like flowers, you hadn't even opened it yet and you could see how much effort she'd put into it, "Awwe Ganyu this is to much, you didn't have to.."

"Oh but I did...please open it, I think you'll love it."

You smiled at her, carefully peeling back the wrapping paper and opening the box just enough to see what was inside. "Oh my gosh...it's a plushy and it's handmade, Ganyu did you-"

"In between shifts I learned the pattern for you and made sure it was sewn the absolute best I could. I've never made anything like it before and I was worried I wouldn't finish it in time...but I wanted you to have something that showed my determination and attention to what you like. I also figured it could help you sleep."

Sleeping with Genshin Characters HC’s

Diluc

I feel like Diluc probably sleeps on his back, and just lays there. Not even moving. Which makes it kind of hard for you to cuddle with him. Sometimes, he feels kind of bad, and pulls you into his arms. He is mostly the big spoon, but wouldn’t mind being the little spoon once in a while.

Ganyu

Why do I imagine that you two have matching pajamas💀 kind of cute though.

Anyways, Ganyu does not sleep that much because, sometimes she overworks, which means you have to drag her to bed most of the time. Likes to cuddle, I feel like she enjoys laying on your chest, while you caress her hair or horns.

Itto

Oh boy. This oni snores so loud, that the whole land of Inazuma can hear him. You would have to practically kick his leg so he would stop. He is really big on cuddling, he likes it when you lay on his chest. Your breathing make him feel calm, but when you’re spooning. That’s a different story. He enjoys being the big spoon, but sometimes he squeezes you too hard without even noticing it.

Raiden Shogun

If you’re scared of thunder or lightning, she will most likely make the weather rainy, so you can peacefully fall asleep in her arms. She holds onto you really tight, afraid of letting you go, Ei feels like she has to protect you at all costs. You may hear some snoring from her, but it’s really light snoring, so you can’t really hear a thing.

Xiao

I feel like Xiao wouldn’t be really into cuddling at first, but later in the relationship, it was him who always initiated the cuddling. He probably has a messed up sleep schedule, so he might wake up in the middle of the night, and not be able to fall asleep again. Also, he likes it when you play with his hair, it really calms him down.

Yae Miko

Miko is probably a light sleeper, any disturbances might awake her, even if you move an inch, it might still wake her. When she’s asleep, she sometimes out of nowhere turns into her fox form, but you don’t mind, her fur is literally so soft.

Yunjin (she’s so underrated bro)

Yunjin would only sleep when you’ve gone to sleep. She cares about you too much. If you have trouble sleeping, she would sing for you, which you honestly adore. I feel like she’s a heavy sleeper, and probably snores a bit, idk💀

Zhongli

He would tell you stories about his past, when he was an archon, which honestly keeps you awake, rather than sleepy. He sometimes notices that, and rather just holds you till you fall asleep. I have a feeling he sleeps on his back with many pillows in his bed. (So random lol)

he loves baking with you

spending quality time with his darling partner and having some sweets after? perfect!

but he is so clueless at where to start

so he kinda just stands around in the kitchen, awkwardly🧍‍♂️

like, what is he supposed to do?

no that’s a genuine question he’s never baked in his life—

of course he’s more than content to try to squeeze in some romance into your baking session

ayato giving you hugs from behind, resting his head on your shoulder as you mix the dry ingredients together

may or may not try to sneak a kiss on your neck and jawline... and totally act innocent afterwards

however the moment isn’t as romantic as ayato makes it out to be

he is this 🤏 close to being kicked out of the kitchen for being too distracting

he smirks at your little half hearted threats, and he playfully jokes that it’s not his fault that he’s so handsome bitch i swe—

ayato spends most of the time just leaning on the counter, watching in awe as you follow the recipe word for word

he honestly just thinks you look so cute like this, and ayato desperately wishes you two could stay in this moment forever

and then you’ll notice him staring at you, and of course you think some flour got onto your face

ayato only sees it as the perfect opportunity to strike

“hm? there’s nothing on your face, my love. i was simply just... admiring you, that’s all. oh wait— actually, there seems to be some sugar on your lips, let me get that for you.”

she is the best person to bake with, hands down

ganyu has a lovely kitchen at your disposal, alongside some matching aprons for you two (they’re very cute please wear them when you bake)

she’s actually very mess prone, especially when she bakes, so please 🙏 remind her to wear her apron

or else she’ll be mixing the dry and wet ingredients and accidently get some of it on herself

but the apron only stops the mess from getting on her front

she has mixed some of the wet stuff together, got it on her knuckles somehow, and wiped it on her face... somehow 🤨

she’s adorable, but you’re suspicious she’s just doing this on purpose now

ganyu will not notice the goop on her face unless you point it out or get it for her

but beware! she will blush a lovely cherry red if you kiss/lick it away hun, please do not lick the cocogoat

and she’ll still blush if you just use your hand or a cloth to wipe it

but, outside of making a mess on herself, ganyu is super!!! frigging!!! efficient!!!

you just finished putting all the wet ingredients into that bowl? she’s already stashed them back

you think you’re all done when it’s in the oven? sorry, ganyu is already doing a clean-up of the kitchen

ganyu is super sweet though, and doesn’t want you to lift a finger

she’ll only let you do the work if you forcibly sit her down and tell her to relax... begrudgingly

“oh! hun, why we going to the living room? you want to take ov— what? no, you’ve already done so much today— you’re... sure? okay. try not to burn it, alright honey?”

gorou loves sweets... and he also loves you (equally, he swears!)

so it only makes sense for him to bake with you, staying away from any chocolate-related recipes of course

and throughout the whole process, from pulling out the ingredients to putting them away, he’s so happy and excited

gorou’s ears are twitching and pointed towards you, whether he likes it or not

and, yes, his tail is absolutely wagging around excitedly whenever you two bake

yes, it has knocked over containers that were on the edge of the counter and made a mess

yes, he feels bad 😔 please forgive him

at some point, he did knock some flour off the counter

and some of it got onto your face, because of course now was the time gorou’s aim was straight and true

you both just share a knowing look

before you take a pinch of flour and flick it over in his direction

it only escalated from there, leaving most of the kitchen’s countertops covered in flour

oh, and you both look like you came out of a winter wonderland. great.

but he is smiling so much by the end of it, gorou’s tail still wagging like there is no tomorrow

even though you’re still covered in flour, he still peppers your face with kisses as cuteness aggression just takes over his system

and of course, he promises to clean it all up afterwards! really, he does!

but gorou just wants to keep holding onto you for now🥰

“sorry, honey, ‘guess i got carried away with it, huh? ha, no matter, we had fun right? and we’ll have some lovely cookies too... wait... are they still— crap! i think i just smelt smoke, hold on!”

he’s... he’s not the best baker

mostly because the amount of time and ingredients that heizou had was always limited

but hey, box mix for the win 👊

plus, he has his lovely, lovely, lovely, partner to help him read the instructions on the box!

or to make a recipe from scratch... that too

and while you’re doing everything, heizou loves to tease watch you

it’s honestly not his fault that you look so cute, as always, so can you really blame him? (spoiler: you cannot, it’s heizou c’mon)

while you’re busy whisking and beating the ingredients together, heizou leans on the counter with a goofy smile on his face

when you catch him, heizou is not ashamed to let you know how distractingly-cute you were being right now

but then you see the way he eyes the batter... the batter with raw egg in it, heizou. c’mon🤦‍♂️

don’t leave the bowl alone with heizou

by the time you’re back, there’ll be some batter on his lips that he’s still licking away

however, there is one way to get him away from the raw egg! (heizou, beloved, this is for your own good i sw—)

if you give him a few kisses in exchange for whatever ingredients you need heizou to pass you, he’s distracted for sure

“alright, the flour and baking soda... and the sugar for my sugar. hey don’t roll your eyes at me! you know you like it when i’m cheesy, don’t lie. say, sweetheart, you don’t think i could lick the spoo— oh, right, the salt!”

a/n ✧ hello returning anon! i loved writing the first one and i’ve also been wanting to write with female characters so thank you so much!! i’m extremely happy that you enjoy my posts, srsly made me smile so big when i read this

ALBEDO

✧ when you arrived back to his shelter in Dragonspine, he noticed something was off. he had sent you into Mondstadt so retrieve some items for his experiments. of course, he knew you weren’t one of his assistants but you always insisted on helping with whatever he needed, so he sometimes takes advantage of your kindness to save himself the trip. this time however, you came back with a certain mood surrounding you. before you left you gave him a big kiss on the cheek before setting out with a happy smile, but now that smile is gone. he asked you what was wrong, but dropped it when you replied with a simple "nothing." he wasn’t completely in tune with his own emotions, let alone someone else’s so he sort of assumed he was overthinking and there really was nothing wrong. after a handful of hours passed by, he was painfully aware of your distant mannerisms. he obviously pestered you, he was sure that there was something the matter. once you told him that some people in town had some nasty things about you, he understood immediately. he knew as a boyfriend he was to stay and comfort you, so that’s exactly what he did. wrapped you in a blanket to shield you from the cold air and leaned you against him. the two of you sat in silence as you let yourself rid the negative thoughts and instead focus on albedo, the man who loves you.

"im sorry, i should’ve known."

LUMINE

✧ instantly knew something was the matter when she returned to you from wandering around the new town you two were in. she had a commission to complete so she had been walking and asking the town people about any sightings. she insisted you sat so you didn’t tire yourself with unnecessary walking. however, she soon regretting that decision when she saw the dejected look on your face. automatically assumed you thought she had forgotten about her, so she hurried over with a big smile while calling out your name. when you gave back a tiny forced smile, her brows furrowed with confusion. asked you if you were alright, and when you saw the look on her face you instantly spilled your guts. you told her about the people passing by that had taunted you, which made paimon immediately ask what they looked like and claim she would 'kick their butts'. with your reassurance lumine and her companion calmed down enough to realize that you just needed to be reassured. she grabbed your hands and pulled you up from your seat before wrapping her arms around you and placing a kiss to your cheek. you hugged her back and placed your face to her neck, basking in her presence to help you calm down. she stood and held you till you pulled away, this time giving her a genuine smile.

"im here now, no one will bother you again."

SHENHE

✧ she doesn’t totally understand the way of humans or how they think yet, but she’s observant enough of you to where she knew something was bothering you. she had been busy all day, but when she finally got the time to come see you, she was immediately worried. she spotted you first while you were completely oblivious to her eyes on you. she saw tears sliding down your cheeks and heard your sniffles. she yearned to comfort you, but she didn’t know if you wanted to be alone at the moment. she mulled it over and decided that she’d take the risk and confront you. when you finally noticed her walking towards you, thanks to her purposefully loud steps, you started wiping your face with the back of your hands. you felt your cheeks heating up, she wasn’t looking at you which meant she already saw you crying and was trying to give you privacy while you composed yourself. that realization brought more tears to your eyes, she was so considerate and the hateful words those people yelled at you echoed in your head. when she finally reached you she slowly lifted her gaze and softly asked you if you were alright and if you wished to talk about it. you didn’t reply and just lunged at her with a hug, trying to drown out your crying in her shoulder. she let you cling to her and let your emotions out before questioning you further. after you sniffed for the last time and rose from her shoulder, she swiped your hair from your face and asked what was wrong. after vaguely telling the story, she had a sharp look in her eyes. didn’t reply and just hugged you again, but later severely went out and dealt with said people herself.

"worry not, i’m always here for you."

GANYU

✧ as someone whos insecure herself, she knows what it looks like. she felt immense worry for you after she saw your expression when she got done with work duties for the day. completely ignored the stares of bystanders as she instantly rushed to you and cupped your cheeks, asking what was the matter. you knew you couldn’t lie to her so you told her the truth. you told her about what a group of citizens said to you, the malice clear in their voices. your eyes averted hers the entire time you spoke, but she kept hers trained on you, her hands not moving from their loving position on your face. once you finished she sighed and shared a similar experience of her own. she shared the negative thoughts she has after people say things about her. gave you a pep talk and some very good advice and then assured you that she loves you the way you are. when she finished your eyes were glossy and you couldn’t help but land a kiss to her lips in a silent thank you. wrapped your arms around her neck and then gave her a speech about how much you adore her and wouldn’t change a single thing. you two ended up an emotional, loving mess and stayed wrapped in each others embrace for a few dragged out moments.

you've known ganyu to be an extremely hard working individual in the time you've known her, often working overtime and on the verge of falling asleep constantly. when she brought up the idea of somnophilia to you, you were not as shocked as people might have anticipated you would be. most people would presume to have a different image of ganyu in their heads, because of her shy demeanor, but you could read her like the back of your hand.

so when you came home today to ganyu fast asleep in the bed of your shared home, a note on your bedside stating she's okay with you using her in her sleep, you couldn't help get excited. humming to yourself softly, you moved to take off your coat and jewellery as well as your vision, and placed it on your nightstand next to ganyu's. you didn't want any of the sharp edges in your clothing to poke her and hurt her.

after disrobing just the outer layers of your clothing, you take off ganyu's skirt and sleeves, slowly moving to peel off her bodysuit next so as to not rouse her from her sleep. you didn't need to worry, however, your little qilin was fast asleep and you could hardly hold yourself back from pleasuring her.

In hopes to ease her awkwardness, you answered, “I work here, actually. I’m an editor for Inazuma’s Yae Publishing House.”

“Oh! You do? Miko… never mentioned that to me,” Ganyu fidgeted. She immediately thought back to the invitation letter that the pink fox had sent to her. When she traveled all the way from Liyue to Inazuma, she knew you resided in the nation; But she really didn’t expect to see you here, of all places.

“You know Miko?” you slightly gasped. “I would’ve never guessed that you two were acquainted.”

As you finished your words, you patted the edge of the table, motioning towards the set of chairs right in front of your desk. Ganyu quickly took a seat, and then set her stack of papers down—however, it seemed the moment she realized you were able to see them, her hands immediately raced to take them back.

You decided not to question it.

“We’re longtime friends, actually!” Ganyu told you as she clutched her loose papers tight against her chest. “We knew each other many, many years ago.” She fidgeted around for another moment, the tips of her fingers rubbing against the papers as she tried to muster up something more to say. “Oh, and…” she began again, “I’m actually here to see her today…?”

“Oh!” You clasped your hands together, dropping your own paperworks from your hand. “Miko is actually not here today.”

“Ah…”

“But, I happen to be going to her current location in a few minutes, so perhaps you’d like to accompany me?”

Her eyes lit up at the offer. She’s been wanting to be alone with you ever since you left your short stay at Liyue Harbor. Without another thought, she hastily nodded her head and followed your every step.

When we walked side-by-side, I felt my heart race. My entire head was screaming at me to hold her hand.

“We’re here!”

“A shrine?”

“The Narukami Shrine,” you corrected with a smile, slinging a plastic bag over your shoulder.

Ganyu had been eyeing that bag all morning—you picked it up before the both of you made the trip here, and she couldn’t help but wonder what was inside such a large, lumpy bag. She supposed she shouldn’t be so nosy, though. After all, you had been excellent at ignoring the papers she had been clutching all day.

Archons, she’d be so embarrassed if you found out what they were before she was ready.

“Oh, right!” Ganyu recalled. “Miko is the head shrine maiden.”

“And the owner of the Yae Publishing House,” you added.

“So she’s your boss?”

“Mhmm.”

The two of you walked side-by-side into the area. There weren’t many people here, as usual—mostly shrine maidens and a few people who were saying short prayers before leaving. Ganyu stayed quiet as she observed the unfamiliar area, choosing to lag behind you for a bit since she didn’t want to seem like she was intruding.

Pale pink petals floating amidst the wind were so much more beautiful compared to the hard rocks of Liyue, in her opinion. Even the roaring heights above each stony mountain could not give her a peaceful view such as this, and she could not help but think you looked so perfect standing here in the middle of it.

If only she could take you on a date here, maybe even confess her feelings… Or would that be considered too blasphemous considering the location?

“There they are!” you suddenly exclaimed. Without warning, you grabbed Ganyu’s wrist and pulled her towards a man with light blue hair that was leaning against the stair railings.

After assuming this was one of the people you were looking for at the shrine (other than Miko, of course; but that was for herself), Ganyu questions, “How did you know they were here?”

“Oh, they’re always here on Saturday mornings right before they go out for bubble tea,” you waved off rather dismissively.

Is bubble tea that important for them to travel so far for it?! Ganyu thought.

“Ayato!”

The blue haired man, who seemed to be staring off into space earlier, perked up at the sound of your call. Ganyu wasn’t sure why, but she immediately didn’t like this man named Ayato.

“Oh?” the man voiced once his eyes landed on your approaching figure. “What brings you all the way here?”

“I got something for you!” you told him, swinging the large plastic bag you held off your shoulders.

So that’s what that is for? Ganyu felt the warmth of your hand leave her own as you began to reach for something in the bag, and she could not help but feel a little jealous…

“Ta-da!”

In your hands was a rather large plush: a smiling bunny, with a pink hood over its ears and around its head. You were smiling in pride at the stuffed toy, and Ayato gasped in what seemed to be both shock and excitement.

“You actually bought it?!” he said with a large grin on his face. He pushed his body off the railing before coming closer to you, and then hugging the plush that you handed to him. “I can’t believe you—and how did you even get one so big? How much was this, let me pay you back!”

“Haha,” you laughed with gritted teeth. “Don’t ask about the price.”

As horror etched on Ayato’s face, Ganyu panicked a bit. Plushies were something you only gave to people you liked, right?! And you got one for this man, so did that mean you were already taken—

“And I got one for your sister, too!”

Oh. Nevermind.

You pulled out another large plush, successfully emptying the bag. It seemed those were the only two things the bag carried, so Ganyu now felt a little embarrassed for being so curious about it.

Ayato’s face contorted immediately when you showed off the other plush.

“W… what… What is that…?” Ayato looked rather confused—and even sort of disgusted—as you held up the plush for Ayaka. His eyes seemed to travel along the pink curves of the plush’s body, from its rather large visors, to what seemed to be a backpack on its back.

You gasped, “You’ve never seen these before, Ayato?” And when you looked around, you saw that both Ayato and Ganyu were shaking their heads. “Well, it’s an—”

“AMONGUS!!”

Everyone turned towards Ayaka, who positively gasped when she saw the pink crewmate plush in your hands.

“Is that for me?!” she asked you with excited eyes. And when you nodded, she gasped once more, squealing out an elongated, “Thank you!” She wrapped the plush in her arms almost immediately, and even seemed to hold it quite gently.

“An… Among Us?” Ayato slowly repeated what his sister previously yelled.

“Amogus,” she corrected.

“Amongus,” you agreed.

Ayato squinted his eyes in heavy confusion at what both you and his sister were talking about. Was it some new game younger people played in their free time? Did Ayaka not tell him about it yet? Perhaps he was just getting too old.

“Well,” he hummed, leaning on one leg and crossing his arms. “I don’t think I like these… Amongi.”

Your hand immediately flew up to your mouth to stop your laughter.

Ayaka argued, “I think the plural term is Amonguses.”

“That sounds terrible.”

“You sound terrible.”

You could only laugh harder as the siblings continued to bicker amongst themselves, even beginning to hit each other’s arms in the middle of the public shrine. Ganyu could only watch awkwardly at the exchange, but luckily, you tapped her arm to pull her away from the discourse.

It seemed like this happens quite often. But nevertheless, Ganyu decided to just completely disregard the two siblings. She allowed you to pull her towards a little stand—one that had a box with a slip of paper sticking out.

“What is this?” the half-adeptus asked.

“A fortune stand!”

You then gestured for her to draw one, and when she did—

The clouds disperse, revealing the moon in the sky. Whoever draws this slip will receive great fortune. With clarity in your heart, what you wish for will come true. Things will go your way today, whether there is something you wish to accomplish… or someone you wish to meet. Now is the time to act.

Your lucky object for the day: Everburning Flaming Flower Stamen. The heat of a Flaming Flower comes from the fire in its heart. The reason everything will go your way is because your heart knows the path to take.

Ganyu gulped.

Should she really? It was definitely advisable, that’s for sure. But to actually confess her feelings to you—right now.

You only accompanied her all the way here to look for Miko since the half-adeptus was looking for her, but she had no idea what would happen after that. Seeing you was only a bonus, and there was no guarantee that you would have another moment alone together like this.

However, would it still be considered blasphemous or profane if she did it right here, right in the heart of the Narukami Shrine?

“That plush looks so ugly!”

“Hey, don’t talk about Charles like that!”

“You named it Charles?!”

Nonsense. Those two Kamisato siblings were literally still arguing off to the side, even after she drew her fortune slip and all. If anything, whatever they were doing was far more embarrassing than the idea of quietly confessing to you.

Alright. She can do this, then.

“Hey…”

“Hm? What’s wrong, Ganyu?” you questioned her, noticing how her hands began to visibly tremble. And so you grabbed them, soothing both with careful caresses from your thumb as an attempt to calm her shaking. “Did you get a bad fortune? It’s alright, we can always hang it over he—”

“No, no, it’s not that!” she quickly denied, pulling you back into place. Her shoulders hunched so she looked so small, and she inched closer so she could mumble. “I… I just…”

You listened intently, awaiting her response. It seemed she would just have to suck up her courage and spit it out.

“I wanted to tell you that—”

“Oh my… Ganyu, my beloved friend!”

The both of you turned towards the new voice—or, more like a voice that was all-too-familiar to both your ears. There stood Yae Miko, your boss and Ganyu’s old acquaintance. Of course, Ganyu knew she was going to come sooner or later; that was what you escorted her here for, after all. But the half-adeptus didn’t think her old friend would cut her off so brutally.

“Had I known you would come here early, I would’ve already prepared fresh Sea Ganoderma for you,” Miko pouted as she finally stood in front of you two. She sighed in disappointment at herself, though you seemed to pick up on her playfulness better than your half-adeptus companion had.

“No, it’s no worries at all!” Ganyu was quick to assure, “It’s already an honor to see you after so long!”

Miko dramatically gasped, “You mean you walked all this way to find me?” She looked absolutely horrified, though falsely. “How horrible of me as your Inazuman hostess—I was even the one to tell you to meet me at the Publishing House!”

It was frankly quite weird to you to see both women interact with each other, especially since you did not expect them to know one another at all. Alas, you would just have to get used to it, even if their personalities clashing together seemed like a total disaster in your eyes.

“Allow me, my good friend,” Miko continued, “to take what you came here for right off your hands!”

Before Ganyu could even question or protest, Miko snatched the hefty stack of papers from her hands. She held up a few sheets between her fingertips, displaying them up rather publicly so she could scan their contents. This caused immediate panic to rise in the half-adeptus’s face; And you still had not a clue of what these papers contained, though it seemed that Ganyu preferred to keep its contents private between her and Miko.

“Miko, don’t—!”

“Oooh… Your handwriting is so neat and lovely! Perfectly expected from a secretary,” the pink haired woman marveled. “Oh, this”—she finally turned to speak to you—“have you read this yet, my darling?”

“Those…” you told her. “No, I haven’t.”

“Miko, I really don’t want her to—!”

“What a grave shame!” Miko whined as if you just spoke of something absolutely disappointing. “You need to read it, I feel it will be right up your alley!”

“Ah, but if Ganyu is not comfortable…”

Ganyu cut in rather loudly, “I will be!” And then she squeaked, probably realizing she was being too passionate. In a lower voice, she said to you, “When these drafts are all edited and published in a few days, I’ll be comfortable—I want you to read it!”

Oh, so it’s actually a book.

Ganyu wrote a book.

And she came all the way here to get it edited and published under the Yae Publishing House.

“Aw, how sweet!” Miko gasped at her old friend. Then, she turned to you. “See, that’s why I took up this offer—this story is so cute, you know. I just had to get my hands on it.” She stared down at the papers in amusement, a slight smirk upon her lips. “And that is also why, as Ganyu’s dear friend, I decided to edit and publish it personally for her.”

“That’s so kind of you!” you exclaimed. “And I’d love to read it once it’s out!”

Ganyu chuckled nervously, “Yeah I… I really hope you enjoy and… understand it…”

“Say, let’s all go get lunch at Uyuu Restaurant,” Miko suggested with a smile. “I have another client I need to meet over there shortly. But I want to make up for my lack of hospitality, so I’ll treat you both to celebrate remeeting friends, and for new relationships.”

She doesn't think she expected it to turn out like this.

What was supposed to be a simple lunch had you three in a private room, with Miko’s arm slung right over around your waist so temptingly. She was laughing cutely near your ear, occasionally feeding you and tapping her other arm atop your thigh.

However, far too close in proximity for Ganyu’s tastes.

She sat alone on her side of the table, opposite to you and Miko, who were sitting next to each other. Miko had such easy access to you, and all Ganyu could do was watch.

Well, Ganyu wasn’t technically “alone” on her side of the table. Right next to her sat a little girl with a cute red hat and dress—clearly not any representation of Inazuman fashion, however. She was from Mondstadt, and her name was Klee. Though, Ganyu wondered why a kid this small was even Miko’s client, anyways?

"Oh my Archons, you—!" Miko burst into laughter at whatever you said. "You're always so amusing to me, you know. I should take you out on dates like these more often!"

Dates like these...

“Oh man,” Klee piped up, “that joke wasn’t even funny!”

Ganyu let out a heavy sigh, feeling like a third wheel… Fourth. Fourth wheel. Though, she couldn't even blame you at all. Clearly, there was too much on your plate with Miko constantly attached to your hip. And yet Ganyu still sat there, wondering about ways to cut in so she can still somehow talk to you.

Speaking of talking, were you and Miko always this close? She didn't expect it, really. In fact, she didn’t even think you two knew each other.

“Come on, you have to try this!” Miko prodded, her body leaning right onto you and her chopsticks hovering over your mouth. “The fried tofu from this restaurant is the best—none compare to it. Come onnn, open your mouth for me, please?”

This lovey-dovey act was throwing Ganyu terribly off. Miko actually read her drafted book, right?

“It’s pretty good!” you admitted through chews and a hand over your mouth. “A lot better than Kiminami Restaurant’s fried tofu, actually?”

“See?” Miko hummed. It was simple, but the way you ate from Miko’s chopsticks was driving Ganyu insane. Had Miko no shame, when she was literally sitting right in front of you both? Ganyu continued to eat quietly, trying not to feel jealous as much as she could.

“I actually need to cut my stay short,” you suddenly mentioned, catching both Ganyu and Miko’s attention. “There’s still work I have to finish at the Publishing House.”

Miko pouted “Aw, can’t you stay?” She tugged on your arm, hoping to somehow look cute enough to convince you to stay for more time. “I’m sure your work wouldn’t mind if you were away for a little while longer…”

“Miko… You’re my boss.”

“Oh, right!” she laughed, and you deadpanned. “Okay, then off you go!”

With a short parting, you quickly left from the restaurant (effectively leaving the two adults [not Klee] with the meal bill) and made your way back to the Publishing House.

Ganyu and Miko were now left alone, though the half-adeptus wasn’t sure if this was a good thing or a bad thing, especially with the red Mondstadt child here. On one hand, she was thrilled to get almost-alone time with her old friend. On the other hand, this old friend just spent the past half hour ignoring her in favor of flirting with you.

And Miko read the drafts of her book. She knew about her feelings for you.

“So,” Ganyu quietly began. But since it was only the three of them now, Miko heard her meek voice. “About my book…”

“Ah, yes, your book!” Miko clasped her hands together, finally turning her full attention to the blue haired secretary in front of her. “So I’ve already read the whole draft, and I loved it! I can’t wait to work with you to edit and publish it.”

“That’s good to hear!” Ganyu grinned. “And, um… Were you able to understand the sort of… representation I was going for…? Who the characters are, I mean…”

Miko playfully scoffed, “No worries, my dear friend, Ganyu. Your story makes your little crush on her quite clear! And I must admit, she is someone special to me, too.” Ganyu couldn’t help but narrow her eyes—her companion said that with such sincerity, but also an underlying sound of mischief. “It touches my heart, you know,” Miko continued, “that you even made the story revolve around your love for her!”

“Huh?” Klee perked up. “Miss Blue Hair wrote a book as well?”

“I—”

“Yes, she does!” Miko answered excitedly. “It’s a slow-burn romance between a foreign traveler and a workaholic secretary from the latter’s point of view—she falls in love with the foreigner so fast, and it finishes with a grand confession scene where she accepts the secretary’s feelings! Doesn’t that sound so cute, my child? There are tons of cute scenes littered in between, too! And Miss Ganyu here wrote all of them!”

“Oh…!” Ganyu immediately blushed. “Yeah, I’m actually… pretty embarrassed about writing that! But I’m glad you understand me enough to pick up on it, Miko.”

She held sincerity in her voice. It was a little too easy.

“Of course! I mean, what are friends for?” the fox envoy laughed dismissively. “Now, after this, I’ll be editing your story to perfection, and we can get this published to perfection. Alright, dear?”

Klee gasped, “Aww, that’s so cute and so sweet! Can Klee read it when it’s published? And, and–! And can I make a gift for all the packaging boxes?!”

“Of course you can, child!” Miko accepted kindly.

Ganyu swore she felt her heart warm. “Thank you both so much!” she exclaimed. “I really hope she’ll like it…”

“Oh, don’t worry. She will.”

Ganyu frequently spent her days in Inazuma with you after that, mustering up the courage to even talk to you at all. But she was here in a whole new nation with her most beloved person, so why shouldn’t she?

And, you were so kind enough to even offer her a tour of not only Inazuma City, but a large part of Narukami Island itself. She felt bad—truly, the worry of intruding in your personal time made her a bit anxious. But she couldn’t help but be selfish now that she experienced relishing in alone time with you.

The time you spent together in Liyue was nothing but fleeting. You were only there for such a short time; And for a business trip, too. Something about a legendary author that needed a bit of extra help before getting his works to Inazuma’s Publishing House—Ganyu didn’t quite catch all the details.

But she fell for you nevertheless, like some dumb, young love—though, she wasn’t quite young anymore.

And yet, the luminous glow of Chinju Forest made her feel like she was in some childish fairytale again. The way the blue light cuddles with your skin like the way she wished she could do the same with you. A moment of quiet and serenity was one she could not get in the heart of Inazuma City; But here, alone with you, she could breathe.

Amidst the surrealness, you asked quietly, “How much longer are you in Inazuma?”

The restriction of volume made it difficult for her to tell what you were feeling. Were you quiet because of the surroundings…

Or because you were sad she’ll leave?

“Two days,” she answered, trying to level her own voice as much as she could. She was already such a quiet person, but she still feared she was being too loud against the running water down the creek of the forest. “Tomorrow, my book gets published. And then the next day, I leave.”

She watched your face closely as she spoke those words, wondering if she could find any indication of a reaction. Would it be terrible of her to admit that she wanted you to feel sorrowful? That she wanted you to tell her to stay? Perhaps she was too needy for your affection, and perhaps she wrote you too unrealistic in her book.

“I see,” was all you said.

You then lowered yourself, moving to sit down on the cool grass right in front of the small creak. Ganyu soon followed, feeling quite awkward that she was the only one standing. Why must she be so anxious in front of you?

“Your hair,” you pointed out. And when she turned, she saw your eyes fixated on the strands of her hair.

At least, that’s what she assumed. She hoped it wasn’t her horns. You’d probably think they look weird, wouldn’t you?

“My hair?”

“The light blue really glows under this light,” you told her. “It’s really pretty.”

Ganyu immediately froze in embarrassment, her hands flying straight up to cover her face. Had you no shame in saying such a thing? Sure, you probably meant it in an artistic way with colors and whatnot, but she took it to heart. You called her pretty. Oh, Archons.

Seeing her immediate reaction, you assumed the worst and quickly apologized, “Sorry, sorry. Did I make you uncomfortable?”

“No!” she squeaked. And as a result, Ganyu’s hands then flew to cover her mouth. Oh dear, that was such a loud noise she made. “I… I’m really flattered actually. Thank you so much…!”

Oh Gods, she was definitely so loud—she hoped you didn’t mind. Luckily, you didn’t comment on it, instead turning to dip your hand against the moving water. It was so clear. Ganyu could see how pretty your fingers moved against the running current.

“And… um…” Ganyu perked up again. Why did she have to be so embarrassing? Ah, she should’ve just kept her mouth shut, but there was no turning back now. “I think your hair is really pretty, too. Not even just under this lighting, but in general.”

She had the locks of your hair memorized in her brain, even how trivial that information was. But it was one of the many features that made her fall for you; and she couldn’t help but describe exactly why she liked it in her book. The way it lifted in the wind, or the way it flowed whenever you turned—the image would always be so vivid in her mind.

You chuckled just a bit, “Thank you, Ganyu.”

The half adeptus only smiled in response, though she figured you couldn’t even see it—your attention was still focused on the creek in front. But she was content with that. Content, as long as you still stayed by her, sitting alone here in Chinju Forest.

“Publishing day!” the fox envoy sang in your ear. You were in the middle of editing a document, and so the sound of her voice completely caught you off guard.

That, or it was the way that both of her arms suddenly snaked around your shoulders from behind. You got this treatment from her a lot, and yet you still froze at such affections. She was quite the touchy one, though what kind of woman would reject advances from the ever-so tempting Yae Miko?

“For Ganyu’s book?” you asked, then she nodded onto your shoulder. She laid on it quite comfortably from behind your seated form, staring down onto the papers you were working on. Her hands dangled in front of you, and her chest pressed against the back of your seat.

“She’s excited for you to read it.”

“I know.”

“Would you believe me if I said that I was even more excited for you to read it? More than her?”

You shivered from how light her voice had gotten, as well as the feeling of her breath hitting your ear. If she was implying something, then you were clueless. Why would she be more excited for you to read Ganyu’s book? It wasn’t even her own.

Perhaps she was just very supportive of her friend.

At least, that’s what you told yourself to believe.

“I guess I can see it,” you answered her simply. “You’re quite passionate.” And very dramatic, but you didn’t say that aloud.

She hummed near your ear in response, seeming to find your answer acceptable. Then she untangled herself from you. She moved back from your body until she was fully standing again before planting her hands down on your shoulders from behind.

“Most of the department is out today, busy printing the final copies of the books.” She told you that rather informatively, somehow completely dropping her flirty tone from earlier. It was like she acted as if she was your employer—which, in actuality, she was. “But since you’re Ganyu and my little favorite, I’ll let you wait until the reveal, does that sound good?” “Thank you for the special treatment, ma’am.”

“With pleasure!”

Breathless, I confessed to you. I sputtered out nonsense I had no control over, and yet all you did was look at me with the brightest smile I had ever seen on you.

You filled your editing quota for today meaning you could finally leave work.

Grabbing your coat from the edge of your desk, you threw it on, expecting a chilly evening. You hoped they hadn’t begun selling Ganyu’s book yet—you didn’t want to miss it. Miko had told you that it would up on the shelves at sundown, and luckily, you happened to finish today just as the sun began to set.

But outside already awaited you Miko and… Ganyu.

“Well, well, look who’s finally done with work,” Miko chuckled. She then nodded her head towards Ganyu, who suddenly looked incredibly nervous as she approached you.

“Um, I have a gift for you…”

And before you could even say a word, she shoved a book in front of you, and you were quick to assume that it was a copy of her newly published book. Though, you figured as an editor for the Publishing House, you would’ve gotten a free or discounted copy of it anyways…?

“This is the very first copy that was printed of my book!” she told you, bowing her head down. You couldn’t tell if it was in shame, embarrassment, or some form of unnecessary respect.

You looked down at the book in your hands, then back towards her. “But, shouldn’t you get the first copy? You’re the author, after all.”

“No, no!” Gnayu denied with a quick wave of her hands. “I actually”—she turned away—“wrote it for you, and that’s why I really wanted you to read it…”

Well, there was no way that her words didn’t warm your heart. She was so sweet to do something like this, and so suddenly, too. So this is the book she’s been hiding from your eyes? The book she traveled all the way from Liyue to Inazuma to publish? Just for you, someone she met so briefly?

Now, you could only wonder what the book was about. Turning it around to see the description on the back, you read aloud:

“Young girl steps foot in a foreign land only to catch the eyes of… the grand Kitsune Guuji?! Join our main protagonist as she gets accustomed to her new life in a new land. But will she survive when the terribly seductive and gorgeous Kitsune Guuji tries to win her heart by hiring her as her new editor—”

“Wait, wait what?!” Ganyu shrieked. “That… That’s not—!”

“Surprise!” said Miko with a hearty laugh. She moved her fingers in front of her lips as she joyously grinned, “My dear friend Ganyu was so kind to write a book about us, and our love!”

You were so confused.

“Miko, that’s not what I wrote at all!” Ganyu exclaimed, turning frantically to her friend. Friend…

“Oh?” the fox envoy gasped. “Well, that’s probably because I edited it! Y’know, like I said I would!”

“You—” Ganyu was at a complete loss for words. Did… did someone she trusted fully as her kind friend just write over her book? A book she was going to use as a confession?! And, to make things worse, she even self-inserted herself over Ganyu’s own character in the story. How painfully cruel. “You’ve… You’ve quite the ego—!”

“Ego? Oh, why do you look so mad my dearest old friend?” Miko questioned, and you couldn’t quite tell if she was purposely trying to piss Ganyu off or not. “All I did was help you like a good friend!”

“But this wasn’t the story I had written at all!”

Miko grinned, “Is it really not?”

“No, I was supposed to use my original story idea to confess my feelings for—”

“MISS MIKO!! MISS GANYU!!”

Klee.

Using the kid’s intervention to her advantage, Miko immediately ignored Ganyu’s infuriated face in favor of turning her attention to Klee. “Oh, hello child!” she greeted. “What brings you back to the Publishing House so soon? Are you here to see Miss Ganyu’s new book?”

“Yep!” Klee nodded happily. “And I am also here to tell you that Klee finished putting gift bags in each of the packaging boxes!”

“Aw, that’s so sweet of you, darling Klee!” Miko aww’ed. “Can you show them to us?”

“Of course!” Klee yelled. “Actually, they should be going off any second now!!”

Miko confusedly laughed, “Hah… Going… off…?”

BOOM.

“Bombs!!”—in the most joyous tone ever.

Miko’s eyes widened immediately, and she turned around, only to see—

“The Publishing House is on fire!” she gasped. And immediately, she rushed to go get help. After all, she didn’t want her precious building and books to burn down!

“Klee made special bombs for each of the packages!” Klee said quite proudly despite the building in front of them quite literally being… On fire. “Like, care packages, I guess!” Her laugh was terribly adorable.

Emphasis on terrible.

Actually, Ganyu wasn’t quite sure whether she should be in a panicked state right now…

…Or a happy one.

Those cursed, dreaded books were now all gone—Thank Archons!

With a sudden wave of passion and uncanny confidence taking over, she raised her arm, and hurled it into the Publishing House—right into the fires that were destroying everything. And finally, the last book was gone.

Like a knight in shining armor, she suddenly turned to you, and got down on one knee. Taking one of your hands despite the clear wave of panic on your face. She confessed.

“I’ve been in love with you for the past year now!”

“Ganyu, good lord! Now is not the time for th—”

Before she could even finish, one of Klee’s bombs rolled right onto Ganyu’s feet.

Well.

You ran off. Ganyu did not.

“Is this considered a rejection…”

Genshin impact hcs for every nation pt.2

Liyue edition!

Info: OOC? Mentions of other characters, writing sucks, sorry if I get some lore wrong with some characters! Fyi, none of this is cannon besides the occasional lore mentions

Baizhu: Whenever the cold winters of Liyue roll around, Baizhu has to make sure that both him and Changsheng are cozy because if they don't. They both can fall ill very quickly. Baizhu normally wraps a scarf around his neck so both him and Changsheng are warm due to the fact that Changsheng normally wraps around Baizhu's neck

Beidou: Since Beidou wears an eyepatch, a lot of people have made theories on what's behind it. Is it just a regular eye? Does she have a terrible scar underneath? Is it due to a battle? Who did she fight? Spoiler alert: It's the first one, but she always gets a laugh out of the really crazy ones

Chongyun: Chongyun is secretly really good at checkers. He takes pride in it along with embarrassment since he has no clue how to play chess

Ganyu: Ganyu absolutely loves the quiet and hates loud noises, but there's this one sound that she will forever despise, and that is windchimes. Every time she hears them, she just wants to rip it off of the ceiling and break all the metal bars in half. Of course, she never does, but she'll immediately leave if she hears it. Heaven forbid someone gets her a windchime as a present

Hu tao: Being a director of a funeral parlor and talking with ghosts for a long time somewhat impacts your vision on mortals, so Hu tao has grown a sixth sense of reading people. She can tell whether they're lying, worried, or pretending to be fine whenever they are fuming with anger. Sometimes, it gets a bit bad that she misses out on social cues

Keqing: With the large amount of paperwork Keqing puts on herself, she offen gets hands cramps. Sometimes, they get so bad that she has to take a break for a few minutes so the bones of her hands don't feel like they're about to break apart

Ningguang: Since Ningguang is the richest person in Tevyat, she occasionally spends her mora on random items just for the fun of it. Her favorite items she's bought over the recent years are candles. She's grown so attached to it that she's started up a collection

Qiqi: Since Qiqi needs a notebook to remember everyone she's met, Yaoyao decided one day that she would help Qiqi with the notebook, decorating it in cute stickers, highlighters, doodles, and occasional photographs

Shenhe: Shenhe has dissociative amnesia, specifically generalized. This means that she offen forgets where she went, what she did, who she spoke to, what she experienced, or even who she is

Xiangling: Xiangling, being the spicy cook herself, she doesn't actually check how much spices she puts in her food for the customers. Does she still use measuring cups? Yes, but sometimes they can be a bit overfilled

Xiao: When all of the yakshas were still around. Normally, the girls would help Xiao with his red eye makeup, only after they died tragically. The last yaksha had to learn how to do his own makeup, to say it was hard... was an understatement. Xiao eventually went to Zhongli for help, the geo archon being met with a sad Xiao, looking at the floor with messy red eye makeup. Don't worry, Zhongli taught Xiao, and he got the hang of it

Xingqiu: Xingqiu secretly has a condition called vasovagal syncope, which means that his body makes him pass out whenever he gets injected with a needle. Before, he thought he had a fear of needles, but when he saw Baizhu about it, he told the young writer that he actually had vasovagal syncope. Which made much more sense to Xingqiu afterward

Xinyan: Xinyan secretly loves having fun on playgrounds, but especially the swings. Whenever she comes across a playground with swings, she'll immediately stop what she's doing, run up, and try to get as high as she could

Yanfei: When in the chasm with the rest of the group, Yanfei actually got slight burn scars when fighting off those enemies due to how hard she was hitting her fireball

Yaoyao: You would expect Yaoyao to be another one of those kids whose toys are all dirty from dragging them around in the mud or one of those kids who forgets their stuffed animal, but Yaoyao is the complete opposite! She always double checks that Yuegui is in her basket, and she doesn't have to worry about Yuegui getting dirty since it's easily washable

Yelan: Whenever Yelan gets bored from time to time, getting stuck dealing with paperwork instead of going out on fun adventures. She'll train her hand to do neat tricks with her pen. She's gotten so good at it to the point where she'll zone out while her fingers mechanically rapidly spin around her pen

Yunjin: The reason why Yunjin's stage is normally warm colors with lantern lights in the background is because she can't stand flashing lights. It makes her feel dizzy, and she can never concentrate

Zhongli: Being an archon, over the years, Zhongli has come to be an expert in fashion. Just take a look in the history books and see some of the outfits he's worn! People have sometimes begged him to let him help them with fashion, but that's Zhongli's secret talent and only his. No if's or but's

she’s able to relate to having periods, so she understands how painful they can be at times

sadly she’s very busy so you won’t get to see her often :(

good thing is whenever she does come home she’ll bring you your fave snack, a hot water bottle etc. anything you need she will get

if your cramps are very bad and you want to snuggle, then don’t hesitate to tell her, she will gladly snuggle with you <3

expect to be somewhat spoiled by her when you’re on your period (but expect her to still work way more than she needs to cause she’s a workaholic)

🐲 | ZHONGLI

we all know that zhongli has taken the form of a female before, which means that he’s most likely gone through the pain of having a menstural cycle

zhongli may be technically human but his dragon instincts/senses are still there, which means he can sense when your period’s going to come before you do

as soon as you start groaning in pain about the cramps, he will not hesitate to run to bubu pharmacy to get all your needs taken care of

he will also brew you some tea to help with the cramps, which is just HFGGDJGH

will also buy you as many sweets/snacks as you want (poor childe’s mora)

if you want to, then he’s alright with laying with you and purring to help ease the pain in a way (I’ve heard that cats purrs are healing to people, so I decided that zhongli does the same thing, u can’t change my mind)

luckily hu tao let him off for a bit to take care of you, cause she too knows how agonising periods can get. she told him he’s going to have to work during some of the holidays in return but anything for u <33

when you’re on your period, there’s only one way to explain how xiao reacts

panic

he doesn’t know how to deal with the pain you’re in, which low key makes him feel useless and like he doesn’t deserve you in his life :(

even tho you’re the one in pain, you’re going to have to reassure him and try to show him the ropes

he surprises you with some pain medication and a heat pad along with some sweets and snacks

also he asks if he can brush your hair to help you relax a bit more

which is super soothing, he’s surprisingly good at brushing your hair

dw tho he eventually gets used to your periods and what to do in certain situations, he’s a fast learner

today is the Reader's birthday, but nobody really know, not because they didn't want to share, but because maybe they just forget about it? anyways, Reader are enjoying their day like any other day, and then Yelan show up and wish them a happy birthday (because Yelan knows everything of everyone) and the others Liyue Characters hear it because they were near by or talking with Reader when that happened. What would be the Characters reaction?

for the Characters, it can be anyone you like, really, but I confess that I'm curious about how would you write for Ningguang and Ganyu. It can have Characters from other nations too, if you wish.

- Prologue -

It was your birthday today! You were quite excited to enjoy the day. You even planned a group picnic with your s/o and all the amazing friends you've made along the way. But, when you were sending out letters you forgot to mention what the occasion the picnic was for. You only realized this after they had already been sent out. You assumed it was okay because these were your friends, surely they already knew what the occasion was.

But, when the time for the picnic came, you were sitting next to your s/o while everybody chatted away. And yet, you heard not one "happy birthday"

It was a bit disappointing, of course, but you weren't going to let that ruin the picnic you'd worked so hard to plan! Even if they don't remember, you did, and that's all that mattered. Time to let yourself have an amazing day!

"Happy Birthday, [name]!" Yelan, finally arriving at the picnic sits on the other side of you. She then hands you a small gift, and gives you a smile. This surprised you, someone actually remembered.

It seems you weren't the only one surprised, but their was a certain someone who looked even more shocked than everyone else.

Ningguang:

"This is...Why didn't you remind me of today's important occasion? I'll have to speak with Baiwen later...Work has kept me occupied for the last week or so, it must've slipped my mind. I apologize..."

Her apology may have seemed quite unapologetic and insincere to others, but since you were her lover, you knew she meant it from the bottom of her heart.

She really did feel quite bad, and she's about to put her all into making it up to you.

Makes sure the rest of the picnic goes smoothly, and you have a great time.

The next day she takes you out around Liyue and will do whatever you want!

Want to hold her hand? Of course. That store looks interesting to you? Alright we'll go there next then.

By the end of the day, you're leaning on her shoulder with her head on yours, one of your hands tucked into hers.

"I'm... Sorry for yesterday, I shouldn't have forgotten such an important day. I promise your birthday isn't something that could just slip my mind. It's a day I hold dear. You were brought to me on that day...how could it be meaningless? I love you, happy birthday."

Ganyu:

"It was your birthday? I'm so sorry! I've been so busy recently that I hadn't thought much about the timing!"

She's very disappointed in herself, and tries to make up for it. After the picnic, you and her work together to bake a birthday cake (specifically a sweet quigxin one). It was her idea.

When the cake is done, she puts some candles on it and lights them on fire.

Instead of singing, she gently hugs you from behind and rests her chin on your head.

"I'm sorry, my Quigxin...I love you so much, and I can't believe I'd forget a day as special to me as one that celebrates you. I'm so lucky you were brought into this world, I couldn't be more thankful. Go on, blow out the candles. Make your wish. And...Happy Birthday!"

Birthday Headcanons

You would have to force Ganyu to take the day off for her birthday, as she's so devoted to her day job.

As a certified dog lover, Ganyu and you would go around the Liyue harbor, giving all the dogs special treats for her birthday per her request.

Ganyu follows a strict diet because she tends to overeat, but that doesn't matter for her birthday.

You would visit Xiangling's restaurant and have her make plenty of food for the two of you, All vegetarian, of course.

At the restaurant, Xinagling brought out a bouquet of Qingxin flowers, surprising Ganyu by having it prearranged for her.

Ganyu ended up eating the petals later as she couldn't resist them.

For her birthday gift, you got her a matching sleep mask and slippers, as one of her favorite things to do is take naps.

The day ended with a meeting with Cloud Retainer, who also brought a gift for Ganyu.

As a Ganyu main, I loved this request! I hope you enjoy <3

˚୨୧˚ Ganyu is amazing at baking desserts and will make them for Keqing

˚୨୧˚ Keqing is extremely grateful for the little pastry’s Ganyu drops off in her office from time to time

˚୨୧˚ Keqing LOVES cuddling Ganyu ! She finds it really peaceful and lovely during their alone times

˚୨୧˚ Qiqi lives with Ganyu and Keqing (occasionally with Baizhu too)

˚୨୧˚ Ganyu and Keqing are like Qiqi’s second mother’s !

˚୨୧˚ Keqing, Ganyu, and Qiqi sometimes have mommy and daughter bonding times !
