obsessed with this new look of his, also i was totally going to do a luz and hunter illustration but my brain kept drawing comparisons between his golden guard mask and the owl one that i blacked out for the entire day and now im here

#my art #so before I drew this I drew smth shitty with a shitty brush and I got a huge artblock and hated myself for a good hour or two then I was #about to post about my art block and how I was going to take a break from drawing then I looked at my lineless art again and remembered how #much fun it was when I just drew it lineless. I only forced myself to find a perfect brush/art style when in reality the perfect artstyle #was the one that made me happy. So I went to my notebook and I saw my beautiful old sketch I drew of bookmark in different povs with the ba #sketchiness of it. So I got inspired. I colored in between the bad sketches. Redesigned the parasite. And smiled. This artstyle may not #stick for a while. But is sure made me happy and because of that. I love my art. And my style. And my ocs. In life he was a heroic warrior sorcerer of Atlantis; now, a century later, he is awoken from tomb to continue his task as the all-powerful super-mummy: the GOLDEN BAT!! Aided by a pair of sibling children and their scientist father, Golden Bat seeks to save the world from the forces of evil, most notably, the fiendish masked supervillain: DR. NAZO and his many minions and monsters!

-My spin on Japan’s fist superhero is mainly based on the original 1933 kamishibai versions of both him and Dr Nazo, but with a few twists! Would love someday to make a comic of this guy, has so much potential to work with!
