Okay so I literally am so in love with this AU rn you don't understand I have been working on the world building for the vampires for most of last night (it's not all put together but it's getting there) and this is all VERY TRUE.
Felix also knows that not only is he kind of irresistible to vampires, but he's kind of a cocky mf because he's pretty much resistant to all attempts from other vampires to enthrall him in any way.
For a whole bunch of lore/world building reasons that I can get into if you'd like me to, but won't bore you with here, the reader is naturally a very powerful vampire, and their bloodline/family specialises/has a lot of power in enthralling/magical manipulation. So Felix knows so clearly the feeling of a vampire trying to enthrall him, and therefore is able to VERY easily shrug it off. The problem for other vampires is that most other's best/strongest attempts at magically manipulating him are at the same level as the general aura the reader puts out in their day to day life that draws in everyone around them, without even being conscious of it, without even actively trying. It can also subconsciously intensify with the reader's mood; their excitement can intensify their aura and make the people around them feel a kind of high depending on how strong theyre feeling said emotion; it can be overwhelming and even sickening the first time it's experienced, but can become quite addicting. This aura can also shift and essentially repel everyone around them if they're particularly angry, but that doesn't happen often.
The reader had to actually try to not give off an alluring aura that accidentally draws people in and endears them to everyone they meet. But when they turn on their charm and actively use their power to enthrall someone, there's no human, and even very few other vampires, who can say no to them.
Felix, who is essentially the reader's familiar, though they dispise the term the way he hates them being called a dog in the main fic, is an absolute anomaly of a human to other vampires. Both because of his blood being damn irresistible, and the fact that he's somehow immune to most attempts to be magically coerced in any way. He, of course, is incredibly proud of this fact, and takes great pride in the reader and their abilities when he's allowed to. He's quietly mad their bites heal so quickly. He loves going to vampire friendly night clubs in the city with just the reader, rather than their whole friend group, because he gets to actually indulge you in your vampire side and indulge himself in being Yours in front of an audience. You can be clingy and protective and possessive, and so can he; humans throwing themselves at you, begging to be bitten, but Felix, who's still pretty intimidating as far as humans go when he wants to be, looms over you, hands on you, doesn't even have to say that you're spoken for to get the message across.
There's definitely Vampire based forums on the 2006 version of the internet, and there's also definitely boards dedicated to speculating about the two of you, and your sightings around the UK. (Humans in the know specifically will go out of their way to attend a club they know you're at just to get high off your aura. Felix learns this and doesn't exactly know how to feel about it.)

Intro: Long Journey (From Mist to Wave) [TEASER] - Seonghwa
Pairing: Dragon Shapeshifter! Seonghwa / witch apprentice! Reader
Genre: Fantasy, Dragon Shapeshifter AU, Adventure, kind of Comedy Fluff and a bit of Angst i guess
Synopsis: After the ambush led by the notorious dragon tamer group, Dreamers, brothers Seonghwa and Yeosang get separated from the silver dragon clan’s lair, Mist. In his attempt to regroup with his dragon clan, Seonghwa stumbles upon you, the Witch of the Woods’s curious yet clumsy apprentice. He finds himself falling behind schedule with a sprained foot and a broken wing; and with a suspected rising threat, he figures he should remain in his human form in the meantime, so no flying. Would he be able to heal his broken wing and warn the other horned clans for the rising threat in time?
Warnings: So Much Worldbuilding, white haired hwa, hwa's clan being attacked (not in detail), probably not-so-good pacing

“FLY EASTWARDS AND DO NOT TURN BACK UNDER ANY CONDITIONS. I WILL FIND YOU ONCE IT’S SAFE. DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME, YEOSANG?”
The chaos and shouting spreading amongst their clan does not waver Seonghwa’s stern voice as he addresses his brother. Yeosang has only ever seen him this serious after a disruptive stray drake had wandered up their mountain.
“Take care.” Yeosang nods, silently leaning his forehead on Seonghwa’s before he hesitantly takes off. They will reunite again soon, he’s sure of it. A flock of younglings follow him, their mothers undoubtedly telling them to leave for their safety as well.
On the ground, Seonghwa smells the human enchantments on flaming boulders before he even sees them. This was clearly foul play, and very unlike their neighboring human settlement. No man in his right mind would dare to face a whole clan of horned dragons, even if he had a whole army with him.
Unless they had found a weakness.
Another whiff of the air confirmed their enemy was not in fact their neighbors. Nobody would dare carry gunpowder on them around dragons unless they wished to coerce them to submission.
Of course, these were the so-called “Dreamers”. Dragon tamers.
The elders were right to be wary for today.
The lindworms of his land, always at the forefront of their battles, fought tooth and claw to ward away as many intruders as they could. A troublesome task since the tamers had put forth their cavalry first.
What they had not yet figured out was that the greedy humans did not mean to conquer, only hunt their horns for sport, as if to mock them. So, as the lindworms and wyrms and other flightless kin flung themselves bravely as the brunt of defenses for the lands of Mist, the winged all gathered to exhale a paralyzing gas designed to stun.
A cold silence was cast over the foot of the mountains. The cavalry had frozen. The warriors at the forefront slowly make their way back up the mountains to counsel with the others, albeit still cautious, they turn their back from the chaos.
That is when the silver-horns start to collapse. For when the final wyrm had cast her eyes away from the battlefield, another wave began with their long-range attacks. Archers, and trebuchet projectiles, and enchanted flaming boulders fell upon the mountains of Mist.
Their flightless had already taken cover after the first wave of intruders. They shook the ground enough for trenches to form at the foot of Mist, keeping out as many intruders as they physically could. The winged had taken their spot as defenders while the rest of the children and elderly had no choice but to flee before the rain of arrows and boulders caught up to them.
Those few who lurked in the waters were not as fortunate - the sole lake in Mist was inhabited by the ancient and well-respected water snake, but he was not too kind on visitors.
The once united community of dragonkin on Mist had shattered almost instantly.
Seonghwa was lucky he even made it out with only a broken wing to remember the day of his clan's fall.

THE FIRST THING SEONGHWA REMEMBERS WHEN HE COMES TO IS YEOSANG’S VOICE TELLING HIM HE’S SAFE. SEONGHWA HEAVES A SIGH OF RELIEF BEFORE HE DISCOVERS HIS UNINTENTIONAL SOLITUDE.
It’s close to nightfall. He knocked down a few trees when he crashed, heavens knew how long ago that happened. It seemed like the crash had done more harm to his already broken right wing too — the cartilage between his appendages ripped and the lower portions burnt and bruised.
The pelting rain against his scales serves him nothing but a calm distraction from the aching in the appendages of his right wing. He does not have any idea where the winds have taken him, only that he is under a dense overgrowth.
He blinks slowly, the rain winds threatening to shake him to his core if he did not seek shelter any time soon. Upon closer inspection of the plants and trees around him, and a quick glance at the setting sun, Seonghwa deduces he’s landed himself somewhere in the East.
Hopefully not too far from the bronze-horns. The faster they’re warned of the threat the better.
A glance above the treetops grants a peak of a small human town, their streetlights shine like little fireflies against the darkening horizon. He spots people donning raincoats and carrying umbrellas as they go about their last minute errands of the day. And if he leaned a little closer, he would hear the overlapping conversations from where he had rested his head on the crown of a particularly tall tree, but he chooses not to.
It was far too risky to parade as a dragon after that raid.
So he sinks into himself, willing himself to at least take a few steps toward the nearest tree so he could lean on it. Polymorphing into his human form hurts more now that he’s essentially injured his entire arm, but he endures it with a few hisses and groans escaping his chapped lips. It has been quite a while since he’s done this.
He didn’t really have the need to be in his human form back in Mist. Everyone had always been more comfortable living in the hides and scales they were born with, although the children would have a period of their lives where they just loved shifting from dragon to human. He supposes it’s for the best that he had not shown himself as human publicly after his turning of age now that a danger was looming over the heads of the horned dragons.
He’s exhausted. He does not have the faintest idea where he is or how he’s going to find Yeosang. His arm hurts like hell and he makes his way toward the human village cradling it close.
At least this way he won’t fall over trying to balance himself with a broken wing.

I came up with a timetravel c!Prime AU, it's called Cyclical Repossession Through Times (or CRTT) and it's my main AU right now.
After the destruction of the lands of the Dream SMP in the previous timeline, it was restarted. This change wasn’t impactful to the majority of the server; they had no clue they ever existed before, and therefore didn’t hold any memories of their past lives. c!Tommy and c!Dream were the only ones who managed to keep their memories. To c!Dream it was a benediction, and to c!Tommy - a curse. While c!Dream remembered their time in exile, prison, post-prison break, and protégé au, c!Tommy only remembered the very beginning of the server (s0), L’Manberg, and Pogtopia. Even though the boy’s mind lost all the upsetting memories tied to the man, his body didn’t. The moment c!Tommy met c!Dream for the first time, he couldn’t help but flinch, his ears were ringing, hands shaking, and every inch of his body screamed at him to get away from the man and run as fast as he possibly can. But he couldn’t comprehend why he reacted this way, if he was facing no one else but his rival, mentor, and brother figure who’d certainly do no harm to him...
The plot revolves around two timelines, both of which took place after the finale of Dream SMP:
The past:
After the restart of the server, the eight-year-old c!Tommy lived in the woods by himself, until c!Wilbur found and took him in. But before the two had the chance to bond and fully warm up to each other, the boy was kidnapped by c!Dream, and taken to exile (to his real home, where he truly belonged). After all, he was a much better candidate for the role of an older brother than c!Wilbur would ever dream of becoming, c!Tommy just didn’t know it yet…
Because c!Dream still had his memories of exile, prison, post-prison break, and protégé au, he simply couldn’t keep himself from reclaiming what was truly his… especially now that he was the only one who remembered the boy.
Although c!Dream didn’t possess the revival book physically anymore, he knew it by heart, so there was no need in participating in any wars or choose c!Schlatt’s side later. Not to mention that he already had the key to L’Manberg in c!Tommy…
Even though c!Dream managed to get his hands on c!Tommy with very little effort and no one was aware of his plans, he had a strong paranoia of losing the boy to the hands of the server again. Similarly to c!Tommy’s kleptomania, which directly impacted his self-worth, c!Dream depended on owning the boy (although he absolutely hated the idea of it, and denied it until the end). So, if c!Dream was c!Tommy’s God, he was nobody without him by his side…
Upon moving to Logstedshire, c!Tommy built a tent to live in, and it stayed this way for a few weeks, until c!Dream’s paranoia worsened to the point where he decided that it wasn’t safe to keep the boy there anymore. So, he made c!Tommy build a little bunker below the tent, and compulsively checked if he still had the keys, and if c!Tommy was still in his room, every night before going to bed.
In the beginning of c!Tommy’s exile, c!Dream abused him the way he did in the past timeline; after all, he could never get enough of it… After having broken the boy’s spirit, he coerced him into seeing him as his big brother and parental figure.
Although c!Tommy was ripped out of c!Wilbur’s arms before they got a chance to become closer, he was very fond of the kid and found his sudden disappearance at night very suspicious. He was aware that he was powerless in this situation, so he established L’Manberg by himself, in hopes of creating a safe place for the boy to return to. Soon enough, more people joined L’Manberg, and it gave c!Wilbur a slight glimpse of hope that other people would join him in his mission of saving c!Tommy.
Eventually, c!Wilbur succeeded in his mission, and got the boy back to safety where he was able to finally heal, and learn what family really meant…
XD and Drista granted c!Dream the power of reset, however it had its limitations.
Even though c!Dream possessed divine powers and was able to achieve what simple humans could only dream to, he was still human, no matter how hard he tried to convince himself otherwise. His human body was simply far too weak for that power, so he could only use one power at a time, and couldn’t cross the boundary set by XD and Drista, otherwise his body would’ve simply exploded. And because he no longer had c!Punz, and c!Tommy wasn’t trained enough to revive him, he would’ve simply perished. It means that he could either revive c!Tommy twenty times, or reset the server once. Because the power of reset demanded was much stronger, it renewed every two years.
Because c!Dream actively killed and revived c!Tommy in order to fasten up his training, the moment things went downhill, he simply didn’t hold enough power to reset the server. c!Tommy was taken away from him, and he was utterly helpless in this situation, and unable to retrieve his little plaything.
After two years have passed, c!Dream finally reset the server, and decided to try to get c!Tommy to himself again.
2. The present:
After the reset, c!Dream desperately wanted to earn c!Tommy’s trust and make him follow him to Logstedshire at his own will, so he was one of the first people to meet the boy. To be sure to succeed at winning him over, he made a neon green bandana with a little smiley face on it resembling c!Tubbo’s bandana to gift it to c!Tommy before c!Tubbo. But he was too late and c!Tommy already received one from c!Tubbo, so it was all for nothing. It seemed that some events kept on occurring in each new timeline, no matter how hard he tried to prevent them from happening. It’s as though destiny itself tried to protect c!Tommy from him…
c!Dream was aware that c!Tommy didn’t remember anything of his past abuse, but he did notice how he tensed up and flinched every time he encountered something related to his traumatic past. Every time c!Tommy looked at the area of c!Ranboo’s visits, c!Dream couldn’t help but panic that the teen might retrieve a part of his memories, and if his friend showed up and tried to persuade him to leave Logstedshire, he’d be more convinced by his words and follow him.
c!Dream was so obsessed with the idea of matching with his boy in everything that he dyed his hair blond, so they really looked like brothers :) When c!Tommy saw the man with newly dyed hair, he experienced a strong feeling of déjà vu, but he couldn’t understand why… His reaction left him utterly perplexed, as he tensed up for seemingly no reason, yet also felt very relieved. Little did he know it was due to something he encountered in his past life… :)
At some point, c!Dream’s paranoia significantly worsened and the thought of putting an enchantment on c!Tommy again crossed his mind, but he decided against it. The idea of managing to keep the boy to himself with no enchantments and his effort alone seemed more satisfying and fun to him. If he managed to do it, it’d certainly mean every single part of the boy, his body and soul, belonged to him, wouldn’t it? :)

Chapter seven of the modern/band AU is... well, it's quite a lot!
Sometimes we hurt the blorbos we love the most in order to watch them grow and heal. I hate to take another break so soon and on this chapter of all things, but I promise this is not how I want it to end.

I've mirrored the content warning in the author's note under the break if you need or would just like a more detailed content warning for a scene with the abusive relationship that Shadowheart and Shar have in this fic.
The second half of this chapter contains an abused person going back to their abuser as well as internalized self-loathing and thoughts of "deserving" such abuse. There is a scene of brief but descriptive, coerced imprisonment and vomiting is mentioned. This is the dark middle point of the fic and I couldn't in good conscience whitewash how terrible these relationships - and this relationship in particular - can be.

I don't know too much about this case regarding Mobox87. However, as someone who used to enjoy Namy Gaga's FNAF AU until a couple of years ago and who is aware of most of her actions (through extensive research - this is outside of what you guys are covering), I thought I'd throw my hat into the discussion others have started about her.
Content warning for discussions of:
Abusive relationships (real and fictional)
Inappropriate NSFW
Transphobia and other forms of potential queerphobia
Online harassment
Some asks have mentioned that she dated a 16 year-old when she was in her early 20s (2019-2020). This is in fact true if you look at Namy's DeviantArt via the Wayback Machine archive (as well as some comments in a few old posts on her Facebook). This victim (now known as Evan since he came out as a trans man after cutting ties with her) experienced emotional and possibly other forms of abuse from Namy (if the interview conducted by an anonymous user is anything to go by). However, I am surprised by the fact that not enough people know about this: Evan wasn't the only victim. By this, I mean that Namy dated not one, but TWO teenagers when she was in her early 20s.
Soon after in 2020, Namy dated Mely (known as 'MelyButterfly' on DeviantArt and Facebook) until 2021 - Mely was also 16 at the time (she is going to be 20 later in April). As Mely stated in a couple of statements on her Facebook, she faced both emotional and sexual abuse from Namy, particularly the Namy coercing her to participate in a NSFW art/comic collab (which is especially concerning given Mely had opened up about how she was in another abusive online relationship when she was 13 in a Facebook post - contributing to her possible hypersexuality - that I haven't been able to find atm). In July 2023, Mely filed a lawsuit against Namy on the grounds of both the relationship AND Namy sexually harassing Mely online (particularly via Facebook comments) once it ended - note that the lawsuit is yet to be resolved. In response, Namy made multiple Facebook posts, a couple of videos and an awful google drive essentially victim-blaming Mely/Evan and twisting truths (and even Mexican laws) to make herself look better when it only makes her even more guilty (plus I'm pretty sure releasing 'evidence' that ends up supporting Mely's story is not going to help Namy's case against the lawsuit). She continues to lie to her audience about both victims, and I hope both Mely and Evan can heal from this.
Yes, I can confirm that the NSFW artwork condoning incest (e.g. Baby/Brenda and her adoptive mother Ballora/Roselle in her FNAF AU) and sexualising kids/teenagers (e.g. that one Owl House comic) is true. I feel it is important to mention that Namy not only posted such works on her Baraag, Rule 34 and SubscribeStar accounts, but also promoted and defended them on her Twitter (this was before she made two seperate accounts (NSFW and SFW) in response to backlash about exposing her teenage audience to her potentially dangerous NSFW). Not to mention her entertaining the idea of having an Only Fans on her twitter (accompanied by a cropped image of herself being topless), prior to the twitter changes (I wouldn't be against that idea specifically if it weren't for the fact that she potentially exposed teenagers to more NSFW content).
I should mention that Namy has used her identity as a Hispanic lesbian multiple times as a shield against criticism (e.g. when she was kicked out of a Welcome Home fangroup on Facebook in early 2023 - this was actually done because the group admin found out about the things I mentioned in my previous points). This behaviour is most apparent with regards to her controversies around LGBTQ+ topics. Regarding the transphobia, in November 2015 (when she was 17), she made a (possibly now deleted) tweet where she argued against gender-affirming surgery (i.e. "...una vez macho siempre macho", meaning "...once male, always male."), telling any trans/gender-diverse folk who have had surgery to get a refund and calling them the f-slur. Normally, I wouldn't bash someone for making these mistakes as a teenager as long as they grow from it. However, then there was the debacle with using the outdated version of the lesbian flag for one of her characters in her FNAF AU, her allegedly referring to trans women as "dude women" as a joke a few times, and recently tagging an NSFW piece featuring Poppy Partridge (a Welcome Home character who is canonically a trans woman) as 'futanari' (a hentai tag that many criticise for holding transphobic/interphobic*/fetishising sentiments - this should not to be confused with its more general use in describing androgyny among other things). (*It is seen as discriminatory against intersex folk as some definitions of 'futanari' use 'hermaphrodite', a now-derogatory term for intersex people.)
Continuing from this, she made a comic in 2018 where she was gatekeeping how LGBTQ+ people should explore themselves (which is still on her DeviantArt and she has not addressed this yet). Then there is the aphobic comment she made when answering questions about her SU and FNAF AUs on her twitter in (saying "As long as a character may be able to feel love, they have the right to have a partner." and that the "...the only obvious asexual is Bearnard [Toy Freddy]." - these are all translations btw), failing to consider that some ace people can and do have both romantic and sexual relationships (this is from someone who has a few friends on the ace spectrum). And less said about how Namy pairs Brenda/Baby discovering her bisexuality through sexual abuse from Scrap Baby (which is a thing that some LGBTQ+ people can and do unfortunately experience) with the incestuous relationship she later with her adoptive mother, the better.
Then there's Namy's harassment campaign against Ed00chan (creator of the FNAF AU, FNAFHS) in 2018 (?), claiming multiple times that her AU was better and drawing what was essentially a harassment piece depicting her with a few other FNAF artists (who most likely didn't consent to it themselves and most likely didn't agree with Namy's opinions). This harassment piece is still on her DeviantArt btw.
If you want more information about this woman, BioTex Raccoon did a series of four videos on YouTube. While not 100% perfect nor do I agree with all of the points (since I personally don't want to defend Riley Morningstar, an infamous art thief, a not-so trustworthy person and an incredibly vocal critic against Namy), they DO give some detailed insight into how volatile this woman is.
If you manage to read this all, thank you very much. All I want is for more people to know about this woman so no more people can be hurt or deceived by her.

Okay so. For Rebelvengers ummm yeah I think I'm gonna ramble/infodump a little!
After the invasion of earth, Ahsoka is taken back to Asgard to be tried. As she's more obviously under some kind of mind control, Obi-Wan is lenient to her, and only sentences her imprisonment until she can be cured.
Kanan intersperses old-timey slang with vine references. Hera pretends it's not funny.
Sabine learned ballet as part of her Widow training. She first befriended Ezra when he asked her to teach him. They do ballet together now. Sometimes they coerce Jyn or Cassian into helping them out when they need more characters. They choreograph their own dances, which usually have a concerningly dark plotline involving betrayal, murder, and the death of all the main characters. Though one time they did do a ballet adaptation of Frozen (2013). Ezra was Elsa.
After the invasion of Earth, Ezra lowkey moves into Syndulla Tower. He lives in the vents for a week before Hera finds him. He admits that it's just nicer here than at SHIELD headquarters. Hera promptly invites him and Sabine and Zeb to move in... and reluctantly adds that, "Well, I suppose the Captain can come too, if he has to."
And Thrawn is a Frost Giant.

half asleep brain strikes again
this time with a rex/savage au
prepare yourself for incoherent ramblings that turn slightly more coherent as i wake up
so we got uhhhhh rex on dathomir. do i know how he got there? no, no i do not
he’s been captured for Reasons and cannot escape bc mother talzin has done some weird magicky bullshit to his heart
it kinda looked like what the briarhearts have going on from skyrim? with the whole not-quite-open-wound-but-you-can-see-the-heart-beating thing? with the giant threads across? her magic has put a stasis thing on it so if he leaves or whatever it’ll disable and he’ll essentially die immediately bc giant open chest wound
rex is given to the nightbrothers for minding bc the nightsisters are all eW gRoSs MeN
(i guess this is pre-ventress? or ventress never did her Selection thingy and is just chilling)
but anyways rex ends up in savage’s custody. savage does not appreciate this. savage has a whole village plus a feral to be taking care of. savage does not want the small angry human. small angry human keeps trying to bite him with his baby omnivore teeth. zabrak skin is too strong for that. savage definitely does not find this biting endearing after a while. nope not at all.
after rex is a bit more healed from the open chest wound, aka it’s not actively bleeding but you can still see his heart beating which is gross but also cool, and he’s stopped actively trying to bite savage, he has to help out with the village chores and shit bc they don’t have means to support another person. a lot of the nightbrothers have suffered under the nightsisters, so a mostly-able-bodied person does have to contribute or else they are going to starve. it’s also easier for savage to keep an eye on rex is he is with him.
through interacting with the nightbrothers and working alongside them, rex learns a bit of nuance, bc not everyone that is a part of your Enemy is actually your enemy. he knows this but doesn’t Know This, yanno? it’s also easier on the psyche to generalize your Enemy as all one bad conglomerate
there is an awkward accidental vouyerism scene, aka sharing a small house and somebody is trying to jack off quietly. rex has the most confused boner bc Hot but also Imprisonment. savage thought rex was asleep. he is feeling guilty about it bc rex is a prisoner but he also keeps trying to bite savage which is Doing Something for him.
while on a hunt with savage, feral, and some others, rex ends up saving feral from a predator or some shit. he fuckin yeets a spear into that bitch. yes that scene from the zygerria arc lives in my head rent free
yay feast time! they’re not gonna waste good food! they’re also celebrating feral not dying! ft. the innate homoeroticism of drinking wine or mead and making eye contact over the rim of the cup while the other person is laughing and lit up by firelight. rex and savage are both having Big Feelings. i’m having Big Feelings. you’re maybe having Big Feelings?
they end up having nice nasty filthy sex with a side of a size kink and voice kink. (maybe also biting kink) bc savage is Proportional and likes to hear men whimper. me too bud. savage freaks out the next morning bc rex is A Prisoner and he feels guilty and like he coerced him or something. rex acknowledges the power dynamic thing but also that he very eagerly consented and would appreciate if savage didn’t disregard his autonomy please and thank you.
rex also starts to emphasize to savage that he and his brothers deserve more than the slavery and abuse they suffer under the nightsisters. which savage already knows but an outsider’s perspective and knowledge that there will be something kith there for them kinda catalyzes it for him.
there’s definitely another Morning After where rex isn’t up for breakfast and savage goes to get some for them and bring it back bc it is Polite to do so after rearranging your man’s guts and turning his legs to jelly. good natured teasing from feral and the others ensues bc that’s what younger siblings and friends are for.
but uh oh spaghettios, the nightsisters return for rex bc dooku/mother talzin wants to use him for nefarious purposes. like a sleeper agent type thing, creating some latent mind control with Magic tm and then using him to kill jedi or something (listen plot isn’t my strong suit)
savage really can’t do anything to stop them from taking rex and is big mopey man until feral and a few others show up armed to the teeth bc they are going to get rex back. savage can either go with them or sit around and mope but they are getting rex back whether he likes it or not bc rex is Their Human Too.
meanwhile, rex is getting the everliving physical and mental shit tortured out of him. cuz whoopsies, he doesn’t break that easily and he’s got someone to stay sane for. nightbrothers attack the nightsisters, action shit happens, they get rex back. my original thought was to have feral die, but that feels mean and i don’t like it so he maybe loses an arm. or some fingers. prolly gets his horns broken with a side of head injury. who knows
uh oh spaghettios part 2, the stasis on rex’s weird heart wound thingy starts to fail. very sad. we cri. savage is cradling a dying rex while rex pets his horns. savage is crying and begging rex not to die. then ventress shows up bc she’s had enough of this bullshit (somebody’s jedi upbringing kicking in a little?) and she’s able to prolong the stasis. rex is alive but not doing too hot, so they take ventress’ ship (which is somehow big enough to hold an entire village shhh stop asking questions) and they go pick up the rest of the nightbrothers that stayed behind.
ngl i have no idea where it would go from here. like if they go to the jedi for help, both for rex and the nightbrothers, realistically they’re gonna lose rex back to the GAR. however, the mental image of ventress dropping off an entire ship of refugees and a dying subordinate to obi-wan is hilarious. but if they don’t go to the jedi, they’re not gonna have the support the nightbrothers need.
so i guess ventress drops them off at obi-wan and then dips? it’s like they have a weird custody battle going. ventress is the semi-deadbeat dad.
so rex doesn’t die (yay) but now they have to deal with a whole “rex is still property of the GAR” kind of thing. maybe a convenient loophole? since rex has been “dead” by GAR standards for a hot minute. or if he is married to savage by nightbrother standards he’s a free person (inspired by @/blackkatmagic’s marriage-loophole fics bc they are my favorites) (not gonna tag them bc i am Shy and do not want to be A Bother but go read their stuff it’s amazing and big inspiration, especially for rarepairs)

Thinking about a serial killer Mike au. Jeremike obviously, I'm such a sucker for those boys.
Like, I'm not sure how horrible I want Michael to be? Was he coerced into killing because William did something to him? Is he independent of William? Was Michael the one to discover remnant?
This is just me spitballing ideas, if anyone wants to take it I'd love to see it.
If Michael is the one to discover remnant, I think it would be after the Bite of 83. William makes him clean Fredbear or something as a punishment (bc William sucks still) and Michael finds a silvery-purple slime(?) and is like "well wtf is this shit" and puts it in a jar to look at later.
Eventually he realizes what it does and becomes obsessed with bringing his siblings back and tries to get as much of it as possible.
HE KILLS WILLIAM!!! ofc he has a big monologue before about how he's making his perfect family, one William could never be a part of.
Then he goes around killing people, yadda yadda, until 1987 when he meets Jeremy while sneaking around Freddy's. He tries to kill him but actually makes friends with him and becomes obsessed with adding him to his weird fucked up family.
(Jeremy has no idea anything's going on)
Michael doesn't want to kill him though because he loves Jeremy and can't bear to hurt him.
The bite ends up happening and Michael is devastated, but not hopeless. He visits Jeremy in the hospital and brings a jar of remnant.
STICK THAT NEEDLE IN THAT BOYYYYY!!
Jeremy "miraculously" heals practically overnight, and Michael can't stop his heart from racing. That little purple shine of Jeremy's eyes makes him so giddy he has to restrain himself from bragging about what he did.
Cue a montage of Michael murdering people and having to skirt around Jeremy, who at this point is starting to notice something is off. His veins aren't supposed to be bioluminescent purple, right? His eyes were blue, not indigo. He feels a weird buzzing sensation when he's around Mike.
Then, BAM. Jeremy catches Michael in the act. He's kinda like "dude wtf" and mike is like "ohhhh heyyy what's upppp"
Jeremy's like "okay listen. babe. you're super hot and cool or whatever but murder is a bit too far. also what did you do to me."
Mike explains everything and is like "I just wanted to bring my siblings back and you'd fit so perfectly in our family"
Jeremy is pissed. But not because he's immortal now ("sick, I'm like a vampire without the blood drinking!") but because Mike did this to him without his consent. He also thinks Mike is kind of crazy.
Michael is heartbroken that Jeremy is mad at him and kills people about it. He then decides he can't stand Jeremy being mad..
So while he's sleeping he gives him more remnant. Of course, too much remnant causes one to go a little nuts (which is what happened to Michael) so Jeremy wakes up and is suddenly not pissed at all. He doesn't even notice anything is different, and when Mike brings it up Jeremy is actually THRILLED!
yeah this jeremike is unhealthy. i couldn't make it healthy without butchering Jeremy's character.
so they become murder partners and go to cbears and Circus Baby joins them and they melt down the other animatronics.
That's all I've got. This was just a teeny idea.

it's called "what is love?". it's a sort of post-anime, non-rebellion au fic where madoka and homura are older, madoka still looks human but has god powers, and madoka is for some reason portrayed as a genuinely bad, awful, abusive person. the discussion was first brought up because someone else said they think madohomu should be a little fucked up seeing their trauma, and someone else said they accidentally read a really dark fic recently about that, but to the extreme, and they gave the title / author.

the fic has a warning for domestic abuse at the beginning, but the first 2.5 chapters are purely "normal". then chapter three kicks in. madoka makes some sort of. alliance? with kyubey? for some reason. with her god powers she shows homura she can basically make her own witch labyrinths. homura is understandably freaked out, because this is the wraith arc universe where witches and their barriers aren't supposed to be able to exist, so homura is freaking out over just seeing one. madoka all but coerces homura to go into it with her before abandoning homura inside the labyrinth. alone. for weeks. as homura is understandably panicking and having a breakdown both from the isolation (since nobody else is in there with her) and panic, since labyrinths aren't meant to exist, and ofc being trapped in one is making homura remember anime timelines stuff.
madoka's motivation for this is revealed to be she's doing this out of "love". which. uh. that's not how anything works. and she's doing it to basically try and break homura down. even kyubey calls this cruel and doesn't understand her reasoning.
she leaves homura alone there for weeks and by the time she (madoka) goes back into the labyrinth homura is a wreck and panicking and asking madoka what happened, why is she doing this, etc. madoka starts hitting her for asking questions after she uses stress positions on homura, which is an irl method of torture that puts major strain and pain on the joints (something about her wrists?). madoka explains again she's doing this to homura because she "loves" her, and she's doing it because she thinks homura needs "fixed". so she wants homura to break down so she can "fix" her.
she keeps leaving homura in the labyrinth in isolation for weeks at a time, even after homura stops resisting, and it escalates to things like madoka breaking homura's arm, healing it, then re-breaking it again when homura won't say she loves her after what she's done, and then pretty much stabbing her repeatedly. she gets upset when homura refuses to speak (because madoka hits her for asking questions) or starts crying.
the whole time this is happening, madoka is openly being manipulative and saying it's for homura's own good, that this is something homura needs, she's doing it out of love, etc. she also says it's homura's fault she's being tortured, and that if homura just broke down, they could go home. she at one point takes homura to a more "normal", beach themed labyrinth to show her what their life could be like if homura let madoka "fix" her right before forcing her back into the isolation labyrinth again.
the fic ends with madoka finally letting homura out of the labyrinth, but then at that point homura is further traumatized and is being skittish/panicked around madoka, and has a meltdown when madoka wants to leave the house (since she kept homura in isolation long term, which is also a method of torture, homura is terrified that madoka leaving = being tortured). this is apparently the outcome madoka wants. it's also mentioned that madoka either genuinely doesn't get, or is intentionally mocking, homura's triggers she got from this experience, like homura now all but having a panic attack when she accidentally asks madoka a question, because madoka spent months isolating her and hitting her for asking questions. it's also described that she all but says she (homura) is acting stupid for things like now being unable to chop strawberries with a kitchen knife because, you know, madoka kept stabbing her with it previously, so now just seeing the same knife makes homura freeze up.
the author also openly states they got the "ideas" for their fic after researching korean war torture methods and 70s-80s american cult deprogramming techniques, which often included abuse and added to the already existing psychological harm of the person being in a cult in the first place.

What's Improv Dreamon!Ranboo's thoughts/opinion on the people his amnesiac dreamon is close to (Tubbo, Tommy, Michael, Techno, etc.)?
Oh! Great Question!
It changes throughout the duration of the AU, c!Techno is probably the person he's closest to out of the group. This is for two reasons, the first an foremost being that c!Techno is very careful to not pressure p!Ranboo into anything he doesn't want to do. He's hyperaware of the fact that p/c!Ranboo is easily coerced into stuff and is careful to not take advantage. ew!Ranboo appreciates that a lot. He's also more trusting of Techno on account of him being an ally of c!Dream, despite all the fuckery going on there.
Michael is a lil complicated, while ew!Ranboo does love him, he's also extremely nervous about having p!Ranboo being around a small child. Also, he doesn't really like c!Tubbo being around the small child. And he doesn't feel ready to be a parent given all the instability in his life. None of that is Michael's fault though, and ew!Ranboo doesn't blame him at all.
I think the most complicated person is c!Tubbo.
Early AU, ew!Ranboo hates c!Tubbo. Flat out. This is a mix of factors, starting from the fact that ew!Ranboo is extremely sensitive about p!Ranboo being pressured/forced into any kind of violence. The whole reason he ended up in this situation was the Dreamon possessing him attempted to murder his former family/friends (and managed to kill several of them). Tubbo having him be a part of the Butcher Army and going after c!Techno feels very similar to that. It's ew!Ranboo being forced to watch his body enact violence he morally disagrees with against other people. He hates it, and he blames Tubbo for it.
It grows about a million times more intense when he finds out about the plan to kill c!Dream at the festival. EW!Ranboo... Well, he's furious beyond belief. Even knowing that c!Dream is trying to play a villain, even knowing that it wouldn't work no matter what. Tubbo having p!Ranboo play a part in murdering Dream, the person who saved ew!Ranboo and basically the only person he has on his side, well... EW!Ranboo wholeheartedly wanted to kill Tubbo if he got the chance. He might've, if Tubbo had managed to go through with it somehow.
It's ew!Ranboo who insists that Dream (whose planning his speech at this point, since he's gathered enough energy and weakened/convinced his own Dreamon enough for it) reveal him as a spy. He wants Tubbo to hate him. He wants Tubbo to know that he hates him. Dream tries to calm him down and rationalize things, but ultimately gives in, on the condition that ew!Ranboo can't kill Tubbo. Dream doesn't want any dead people outside of the strictly necessary.
Then shit goes down, and in the end that doesn't work out. Tubbo an p!Ranboo end up living together with a kid. ew!Ranboo also ends up isolated from Dream for while which is bad for both of them, although he does have XD to help him. This means that ew!Ranboo has to gather energy to take control of the body on his own, which leads to problems since he's got no supervision or help. Also he only speaks Ender, which nobody else speaks. He has several run ins with Tubbo, and there's some violence between them, but ultimately ew!Ranboo cools off enough to keep his promise and not kill Tubbo. As time goes on, his hatred dulls, although it never gets time to go away or heal.
On some level, ew!Ranboo is aware that his feelings towards Tubbo aren't entirely fair. Tubbo isn't aware of any of the shit going on with the Dreamons, and he's not aware of how malleable p!Ranboo is as a a result. A lot of ew!Ranboo's hatred is misplaced projection. It's not fair, but nothing about this situation is fair. That deepseated resentment is hard to let go of, and it's not happening any time soon.

I have the suddern urge (as I do when I don’t want to finish things) to write a Nessian au but like a trashy romance in the acotar universe that has nothing to do with the acotar universe.
Like Cassian gets injured near the split between human and fae land, or the wall, where human Nesta, takes care of him during the dead of winter, while her sisters are away. Feyre because she went out to hunt in the woods at the crossing and hasn’t returned, and Elain who leaves a few weeks prior to marry a lord, and when Nesta tries to look for Feyre (because the dad is dead in this as he is in my mind when I think of him) she finds Cassian injured, and it’s to his wings. She debates leaving him there, but she figures he’s her only evidence as to what happened to Feyre since they’re both at the same location.
So Nesta takes him in, intent on coercing him and threatening him for that knowledge. Except he’s like in and out of consciousness, and he takes forever to heal. Because in this, fae are just weaker when they pass on the other side of the wall. She nurses him back to health, but she always has a weapon near her because she will kill him if she must.
He eventually wakes up, and is so confused as to why he’s in a human home and why this scary, but very beautiful human girl is like tying him down with rope and has ash everywhere. Thankfully, she’s not a lunatic, but she does demand to know where her sister is, because she still can’t find her.
Eventually though she receives a letter in Feyre’s handwriting about Feyre finding a group of hunters who tell her about a lucrative location to the west, and she’s going to follow them to see if she can’t get enough food to last them through the winter. Because you know they’re not poor... but it’s very common thing to do. You know if grocery stores don’t exist, you hunt bro. Especially in the winter. So Nesta settles down, but then she realizes she has a whole ass fae in her house, and he’s so stubborn.
He wants to get up and move around, and she’s like I’m not untying you. But Cassian is really just holding up pretense, because he can get out of these ropes as soon as wings are not injured, because he’s pretty weak, but he’s much stronger than her. But she is so gentle about his wings, and he starts growing fond of her. And she is also just so pretty to look at, and so snarky that he’s like... ehh I’ll take my time.
It’s a trashy romance obviously, so they're going to fall in love, in that small cabin house in the dead of winter, and Cassian will eventually be cutting wood to help her, and making her bookshelves, and he’s going to be increasingly aware that she’s human and he’s a big, bad fae, but for some reason lol Nesta likes that idea. Finds herself blushing a lot. Because he’s so much larger than her... wink wink.
But two things happen, the human village find out there’s a fae living in her house and want to kill him, and Feyre never returns, so Nesta embarks to find her sister and Cassian offers to help.

you gotta understand I was not lying when I said I have 5 pages of a google doc worth of comic ideas. Unfortunately it's still kind of a mess and I'm still sorting out some of the basic dynamics of this AU. I also like the idea of keeping most of my notes and making them into their own comics/posts so idk how I feel about just saying stuff in a list AND YET.
So here's some stuff I think I can say outside of a comic?? I’ll still probably make some of these into comics/doodles, but anyway I hope this is what you were looking for.
Hunter:
Hunter gets very into studying wild magic up close, something he wasn't allowed to do much before. But now he lives in the forest surrounded by wild magic. Because of this I plan for him to discover a few glyphs on his own, like Luz does, mainly the plant one. But you’ll see how that goes later ;)
He's also still trying to cure his uncles curse. He insists he's not going to go back to Belos, but if pressed on why he's searching for a cure for a man he plans to never see again, he'll get very defensive and angry. Sometimes it's not as easy as "I'm leaving and never coming back." sometimes you still wanna help the people who hurt you :P and THAT one is from personal experience
Hunter takes a while to really get into the whole “I’m on my own and can do whatever I want” thing, but I plan for him to mess around with his presentation once he gets more comfortable.
Rascal helps him change his eye bandages! I haven’t decided if his eye is damaged yet or just the area around it tho so stay tuned.
Hunter will often assign himself “missions” to go on because he doesn’t know what else to do with his free time. He knows he doesn’t technically have any deadlines or stuff like that anymore but he gets stressed not having a goal to strive towards so to cope he just.. gives himself arbitrary goals !
Funfact! This is not the first time Hunters pissed Belos off so bad that he’s fled the castle for a moment. But it IS the first time he stays away for this long.
Home Hunter AU subscribes to the “Hunter is the grimwalker/a clone of Belos’ brother” theory just for extra angst. I kind of like the idea that he wasn’t even a big part of Belos’ plans though, just that Belos saw a chance to “Bring back” his brother and went for it fsdfsfsdf.
Hunter is terrified of relying on someone too much because no matter how much he trusts them, they could always kick him out. And he’d rather kick himself out before they get the chance. Boys still got issues, is what I’m saying.
Because Hunter lives in the woods he starts to get a bit... Feral. People will not see him for a week only to realize he’s been not showering or changing his clothes. He was never the most normally-socialized kid but now he’s in the habit of hissing at people the way he does at wild animals that encroach on his tent.
Hunter is very possessive of his belongings (he has so few) and will tackle you if you try to take something from him without asking. He also hoards food and has trouble sharing it, but he feels a bit more embarrassed about this habit than others so he tries to hide it.
Luz:
Luz is basically the first person Hunter reaches out to after living in the woods for a few weeks, and she’s the only one he trusts, at first.
She offers to let Hunter stay at the owl house a LOT, and sometimes he does :D ! But usually only if it’s raining or he has an injury he can’t heal himself, or if they’re just hanging out.
Luz’s Super Secret Sad Boy plan is to try to trick Hunter into staying at the owl house for extended periods of time, so that he eventually doesn’t want to go back to the forest. She brings it up A LOT. This has yet to work though, because Hunter feels very uncomfortable about not understanding their family dynamic. That and it makes him feel a bit worse about his own. (kind of like when you go to your friends house and their parents are nice, so you cry afterwards. But to the extreme that he has trouble relaxing cause he’s viscerally aware of how much he doesn’t feel like he fits in.)
Luz tried to teach Hunter glyphs but he brushed it off. 1. because he’s still nervous about wild magic lmao but 2. because he didn’t think he needed to learn them since he has Rascal. He only starts looking into them when he personally finds them in nature on his own. After that point he starts eavesdropping on Lillith and Eda’s glyph lessons and hijinks ensue.
Lillith:
I’m actually super down for the idea that Lillith would bond with goldie in some way. They both know what Belos is like so they can bitch about him together!
I’m also a fan of the “Lillith regrets calling Hunter a brat” idea. Idk if she’s canonically seen his face or anything but I like to think that, at least NOW, she sees him for what he really is. A poor little meow meow.
That being said don’t think that Mom!Eda is out for the count. They’re ✨ co-parents ✨ and I like to think they bring different things to the table when it comes to caring about Hunter. Raine might show up eventaully too :D. They still can’t get him to move out of the woods tho.
Belos:
Not much to say about him and his plans yet, but what usually happens when Hunter runs off after upsetting Belos is that he comes back a few hour/days later with something to win back Belos’ favor. So the emperor isn’t concerned at first, but then a week passes, and then another.
In this AU Belos is very protective of Hunter but in a weird, possessive, fucked up way. Basically, he’s convinced himself that nothing is really a threat to him or Hunter (since he trained Hunter personally and believes in his nephews abilities). He was never afraid of Hunter being killed or leaving him cause he never considered those things as possibilities. So when Hunter doesn’t come back and is seen actively avoiding him, he goes a little apeshit? But like in a subtle way? Like, he’s losing it but quietly lmao. BASICALLY I do have plan for Belos to attempt to do a lot of stuff to catch/coerce Hunter, and maybe he succeeds! We’ll see.
That should be enough for now!
important to note that a lot of this could change on a whim since I’m still thinking about all of it but y e ah these are some things I’ve mused about.
also I hope this makes sense, I’m not really a writer so I just kinda type it how I talk it I guess.

I’ve got another Ashborn/Jin-Woo fic idea.
This one is an au world, though I’m still working out the exact details of the setting. I know that I want it to be a no electricity, everything’s run on magic world. No cars, internet, and phones.
The setting is a somewhat isolated town near the mountains and a forest with one dirt path leading to the next village, several miles away. It’s a town where the people have worshiped a death god (Ashborn) for as long as they can remember.
In return for sacrificing some animals and produce here and there, Ashborn keeps them safe from invaders. But unbeknownst to the townspeople, the temple priests in charge of the sacrifices have recently begun keeping the offerings for themselves, leaving them vulnerable.
Now, Ashborn isn’t being malicious about it, but without people actively praying/sacrificing to him, his attention begins to wander. Maybe it’s even harder for him to visit the mortal plane without the anchor of their worship. So, he doesn’t even notice when that town he used to protect is attacked.
The townspeople are able to fend off the invaders, but many are injured in the process. And they know that the retreating force were mostly just scouts, a bigger force to follow. Everyone’s frantic, wondering why Ashborn didn’t defend them.
Obviously, the temple priests aren’t willing to admit that they’ve been slacking on their duties, so they tell the people they’ll research the old texts to figure out what Ashborn wants from them. There, they find reference to what they perceive is a human sacrifice, made a couple thousand years ago. The texts say that the human woman gave ‘her mortal life and heart’ to Ashborn, and in return, he protected the town and helped them prosper.
The priests think this means a greater sacrifice gets greater reward. It also gives them an excuse to tell the townspeople, that the death god requires a human sacrifice every so often. They’d rather sacrifice a human than admit their mistake, knowing the townspeople would call for the missed sacrifices to come from their own wealth.
It takes them a while to convince the townspeople, but then it becomes a question of who to sacrifice. Not wanting a mob to form if they start fighting about who to sacrifice, the priests lie and say they’ll look for a volunteer. In reality, they look for someone who won’t be missed.
Thus, we have Jin-Woo’s family, living out in the woods. His father is a hunter, selling meat and furs in town. He’s often away in the forest, checking traps and hunting animals. His mother tends to their garden, along with Jin-Woo and Jin-Ah. No one in town would notice for a while if one of them went missing.
The priests find Jin-Woo when he’s in the woods and threaten his family to get him to come with them quietly. They make him write a note, saying that he’s willingly sacrificing himself to save everyone. Since Jin-Woo will be dead by the time anyone reads the note, they figure there won’t be a way to prove one way or the other whether his sacrifice was willing or coerced.
What they didn’t count on was Ashborn’s reaction.
Ashborn feels it the moment they kill someone in his temple, cutting out Jin-Woo’s heart and throwing it in one of the black flame torches next to the throne. He’s livid, the room growing dark as he appears inside.
His anger permeates the room, demanding to know what they’ve done, his rage only growing as they explain what and why. To have that ritual from so long ago twisted by their greed.
The woman that gave her ‘mortal life and heart’ to Ashborn was never a sacrifice, but his consort. He replaced her mortal heart with one of his own creation, the ‘black heart’, so that she’d live for a long time by his side. And as his consort, he naturally took care of the people of her hometown, wanting to make her happy.
But now the temple that was built to house them both has been defiled, a seventeen year old boy sacrificed in his name. Even though it’s not his fault, he still feels guilty that Jin-Woo’s life was cut short. And so, he offers Jin-Woo’s spirit a choice.
He doesn’t have the ability to heal Jin-Woo’s body as it is, but he can create a new black heart for him. Not telling him the original meaning of it, but that it will extend his lifespan if he accepts it.
Jin-Woo isn’t quite happy about the idea of living longer than a normal human lifespan, but he’s unwilling to move on and leave his family behind. He accepts the heart, then asks if Ashborn will help him defend his family from the invaders.
Ashborn agrees, but says that he wants Jin-Woo to move into the Temple. With that Black heart inside him, Jin-Woo is now able to command his shadow soldiers, and he wants to get to know the person who’s essentially become his second in command. (Again not mentioning that the heart originally had that power because it was meant for his consort.)
Jin-Woo moves into the Temple while the Shadow soldiers start patrolling around the village. His family slowly moves into the Temple, too, packing up their stuff, moving the garden. His father has to go around collecting his traps from the forest, as the Temple is on the other side of the village.
While this is all going on, everyone starts getting to know each other. Jin-Woo and his family have conversations with Ashborn and get introduced to some of his most trusted shadow soldiers. Igris and Bellion are made the family’s guards, but Jin-Woo also becomes close to Beru, Iron, and Tank.
Jin-Woo and Ashborn slowly develop a friendship and eventually, Jin-Woo asks about the story behind that woman who was said to give her ‘mortal life and heart’ to him. Ashborn is a bit reluctant to tell him, but doesn’t want to lie to him either. After revealing that she was his consort and what the black heart originally meant, he’s quick to reassure Jin-Woo that he doesn’t have any expectations of that from him, but that he couldn’t just let him die when he was killed in his name over such a misunderstanding.
Jin-Woo is a bit embarrassed by the revelation, but knows Ashborn enough by that point to trust he’s telling the truth about not expecting such things from him. But it does get him thinking later, seeing Ashborn in a new light. It hadn’t occurred to him before that a death god could fall in love with humans. He assumed a god would see humans in a more distant way, a species that’s so much weaker and dies in the blink of an eye.
It makes him curious, wanting to get to know Ashborn better. He finds that they both value loyalty and family, are ruthless in the pursuit of keeping their people safe, and both enjoy the simple things in life. Family meals, stargazing, the first bloom of flowers in the Spring, petting an animal as it purrs in your lap, and many other things like that.
Slowly, they start to fall in love.
For Ashborn, this presents a bit of a moral quandary. It’s already an awkward situation with Jin-Woo having the black heart inside him, even with his promise of having no romantic expectations. He’s not sure if Jin-Woo will react badly if he confesses his feelings.
There’s also the difference in their status. Some humans would feel pressured if a god admitted interest in them or worry about retaliation if they refused. He doesn’t want Jin-Woo to accept his feelings out of fear or obligation.
On Jin-Woo’s end, he wonders if Ashborn would even be interested in someone like him. He’s fairly young, seventeen when they met and eighteen by the time he realizes his feelings. But surely every human must seem young to someone so ancient.
And even if age isn’t an issue, he doesn’t know if he’s Ashborn’s type. What was his human consort like? Does Ashborn prefer women or does gender even matter to gods?
Jin-Woo would probably start by asking the shadow soldiers if any of them were around when Ashborn’s consort was alive. Asking them what she was like and how Ashborn treated her. They’d end up having a conversation about Jin-Woo’s feelings and maybe give advice. At least one of the summons would know that Ashborn liked to take his consort stargazing or that she sometimes cooked his favorite food. Things like that.
Ashborn, meanwhile, is thinking of ways to subtly get across his feelings. Courting Jin-Woo without being obvious about it. Starting with making sure Jin-Woo at least thinks of him as a friend, not as his patron god.
So, they’d both be thinking of activities to do together. Finding gifts that the other would like. Ashborn would also try to get closer to Jin-Woo’s family, so that they wouldn’t feel concerned if the two of them started dating.
It’d just be both of them trying to show that they can be a good partner, hoping that the other person will start seeing them in a romantic light as well. Eventually, they’d start to catch on, maybe the shadow soldiers and Jin-Woo’s family giving them hints that the other person likes them. Then someone will clue Jin-Woo in that he needs to be the one to confess first, as Ashborn is worried about their difference in status making things awkward if he expresses interest.
After confessing, they start going on actual dates and live happily ever after.
And Ashborn figures out a way to extend the lives of Jin-Woo’s family, too. A way that’s less traumatic than literally cutting out their heart and replacing it with one of his own creation. And thus, they all get to live long, happy lives together. The end.
