Just got out of my first viewing (spoilers so tag accordingly)

Yeah that was the most ridiculous shit ive ever seen and i had a blast lmfao.

To get the few negatives out of the way: Syclla and Tiamat got COOKED. That's crazy. Especially Tiamat. I had no idea she was in the movie and like choked on popcorn when they said her name. First onscreen appearance and she dies in like 3 seconds... sucks to be her. But honestly... this is probably one of those moments where Fan Content messes with the perception of a canon thing, at least for me. It hurts a lot more because of the emotional attachment from stuff like Ozymandias's story, Shamhat, and other adjacent stuff. If I had never seen those and watched her die I'd probably think "oh she had a cool design, but whatever". But yeah, my only serious complaint is her being shafted and I don't even really think I can call it objective because there was definitely an attachment there.

Ok besides that this might be my new personal favorite Monsterverse. Could be recency bias but I don't think so. Every human is at the very least entertaining. Everything Trapper did in this movie made me crack up, hearing Bernie say the words 'Discord chat' and 'Ghidorahstan64' (i stg this was a callout of some kind) onscreen gave me terminal whiplash, and although Jia and Andrew's story was sorta surface level, it was still endearing. I'd rather have a good human storyline, sure, but if we can't have that I'll settle for entertaining.

Here I thought Suko was gonna be an annoying marketing ploy to sell toys... I physically snorted in the theatre when Kong slammed him into that one ape. MVP of the film lmao. Mothra was... also there. Yeah, it really shows that she was a last minute addition. But DAMN she sent Godzilla ROLLING with a single attack. Speaking of, I don't think the Tia-Zilla form was as underutilized as I've heard people say it was. Especially that new Atomic Breath effect. Holy eargasm.

Oh man though, Shimo and Skar are fantastic. Skar hits the same beat as like a Celestial Dragon or Vladimir Harkonnen with way more grace than I would've expected from a big monkey. They go shockingly dark with his treatment of the ape-slaves and Shimo... especially with that female ape insinuation.

Holy shit poor Shimo, man. I honestly thought the Skar controlling her aspect would be kinda downplayed and just regular mind control, not genuine torture of some kind. I love that they let her have characterization by resisting him at every chance she gets, and that the pain control isn't always active (i'm assuming that's the insinuation of keeping her all chained and behind magma, it depowers and restrains her when Skar's not actively using her), further insinuating she gets merciful breaks from hellish enslavement only to be yanked back into it whenever Skar needs something turned into a popsicle. I think my favorite moment in the film is right after Suko shatters the crystal and the light blue luminescence fades to reveal her actual eyes for the first time. Eyes are used throughout the film to show subtle humanizing features, like Godzilla falling asleep in Rome, Kong's wide eyes when he sees his kin, and shock when Shimo realizes she's free. Having her eyes glowing the whole film makes her seem way more monstrous and inhuman, so when that suddenly goes away she starts getting framed as just an animal. Also her eyes are pretty. Also, I lied, that wasn't my favorite part of the film. My favorite part was Kong giving her chin scratches and that cute half-hug. This needs to be normalized. He needs to hug Godzilla next film. I will pay someone a king's ransom for this to happen. Final little detail, I like that Kong doesn't do his final roar from on her back but standing next to her, on the same level as all the other apes. He doesn't look to elevate himself over her or everyone else like Skar did, which is a great touch.

Also also also: Think it's time for a Doug solo film where he tries to steal all the Titans' food. Make it happen Legendary.

Much agreement here! I'd love for a solo Mothra MonsterVerse film to really capitalize on her lore and give her stuff to do (without dying at the end preferably); maybe establish some connection between the Chen family and Jia. Also, I need a little shot of Mothra going to visit Godzilla while he's sleeping in the Colosseum and just cuddle up to the big lug.

Andrews and Jia were a welcome breath of fresh air after GvK reversed Mark's characterization and Madison became... that. There was still some slight tension between Jia not feeling like she belongs and Andrews wanting to do right by her, even if it means possibly giving her up, only for Jia to go "you're my mom, you're my home, stop being dramatic". You love to see it.

Adding to the Doug solo film idea... Shimo adopts him because he's cute and she thinks his shenanigans are hilarious. Let us have fun wholesome times!

okay hear me out, u and lucien r in love. mates if you will. everyone knows it apart from the two of you - in fact u find each other so excessively obnoxious even though there isnt any serious reason for it. you argue and tease and fight constantly, but you also bring each other so much genuine laughter and being in the same vicinity as him - and him as you - immediately calms and relaxes each other. even if it leads to play fighting. youre both so content with the dynamic you have going on that even when you get jealous of elain looking at him for a moment too long, or when he gets irritated by you giving azriel a hug when youre upset, neither of you move to do anything - rather you choose to ignore it. at least until you get hurt and lucien quite literally goes berserk bc he doesnt know if youre okay or not and then and only then does he decide that his feelings, whatever they are, definitely cannot be ignored.

Okay so it started off innocently. In honest truth, Lucien didn't even like you at first. He watched with envy as Marwa and Twila ran towards you instead of him to capture you in a hug that nearly knocked you over.

They are supposed to be his nieces??? They are supposed to run to him???? What the fuck is so good and exciting about you, besides the fact you are stunningly beautiful???

So Lucien, ever the courtier, struts over to you, and introduces himself, finally catching your name.

It suits you, he thinks to himself

And as dinner is served, he finds himself seated next to you... so obviously he has to keep the conversation going because he is a gentle-male??? And that is the polite thing to do...

Definitely Not because he wants to know more about you.

And you know when you meet someone and you have this wrong initial first impression, but as you continue to talk to them, your entire perception becomes warped?

That is how poor Lucien felt

You talked the entire night, teasing each other left and right, picking fights just to see the other get flustered.

Anytime either of you walked off to talk to someone else, one of you would ineviteably end up drifting back to them to continue the teasing conversation where you left off

And that night...

It was the beginning of a beautiful, wondrous friendship. situationship

One that Lucien cherishes, one that he never wants to mess up or let go of. your friendship situationship is easy. It is comfortable. Him softly tossing you onto the couch, you gently yanking at his hair, him pushing your shoulder as you walk together, you kicking at his feet under the dinner table. Your obnoxious teasing settles him, it settles his heart. It is so easy for you two. It is easy for Lucien. And it is easy for you. Because it is never serious, only playful. Because you don't cross each others boundaries. Because outside of the play fighting has been deep conversations that have delved into your trauma and his trauma. Because outside of the play fighting, you understand each other. Your situationship is easy because Lucien feel genuine peace around you... peace that he hasn't felt since Jesminda

From the outside, it is so clear that he is down bad for you.

Because when you aren't teasing him, he is gazing at you with the biggest puppy dog eyes, begging for your attention.

Because when you aren't kicking at his feet under the dinner table due to you being too engrossed in your conversation with Azriel, his cheeks become ruddy with frustration and he cannot control the scowl that tightens the muscles in his face

And gods, you don't spare a glance at him when he nudges your shin, trying to grab your attention.

Part of him knows this is just a tactic to mess with him.

And it shouldn't mess with him...

But it does

He huffs, focusing on the glass of whiskey in his hand, turning it up to swallow in one gulp, allowing the sweet burn to distract him.

But if that is how it is... if that is how you want it to be... if Azriel is the one who makes you this intrigued, if he makes you that happy... then who is he to stand in the way? You are only friends? All Lucien knows is that he doesn't want to lose you. The best thing that has happened to him in his entire lifetime.

So if that means he has to let his jealousy fester, find peace with you and Azriel talking, then that is what he will do.

Gods, you are just talking to him. It is not even that serious, Lucien thinks to himself, irrate with the shadowsinger's uncanny ability to make you giggle.

"Hello Lucien," a soft gentle voice reluctantly pulls Lucien's gaze away from you

Elain.

He half-heartedly continues the conversation with the female, letting her fill his glass with two fingers of whiskey malt.

And thats how the night continues...

He talks to Elain, letting her stare at him unabashedly.

He smirks to himself when he feels a soft nudge at his foot halfway through the night, turning his entire body towards Elain and nodding to whatever speech she was giving about the flora she was cultivating in the garden of Rhys and Feyre's home.

Because two can play it that game

And you feel a sharp stab at your heart when Lucien ignores you, feeling a bit sorry for your earlier teasings, now that the tables were turned on you.

And you know that this is probably Lucien giving you what he got, finally getting his chance to annoy you this evening

But from where you are sitting...

He looks like he is enjoying himself.

Returning smiles at Elain's shameless staring, nodding to her rambling, adding his own anecdotes in a soft voice.

A soft voice he never used with you

So what if he is enjoying himself?? So what if he likes Elain?? So what if he talks to her... and touches her... and kisses her

Ugh, you are only friends with Lucien. You have no right to feel the way you feel right now.

Seething with jealousy

Frustrated that Lucien is winning at your own game

So when Morr asks you to accompany her to Rita's tonight, you don't turn down the offer.

Even though you are supposed to return with Lucien to Autumn tonight to watch Marwa and Twila while Eris and his wife have a private night at their seaside cottage.

Lucien's head snaps towards you, almost giving himself whiplash in the process as he glares holes into the back of your head as you pull on your burgandy coat

Part of him wants to take you by the arm, and drag you home, tired of the games you both were playing tonight. But he didn't. He didn't call out your name to stop you. He didn't drag you home like he wanted to. He didn't stop you. He let you go. He let you walk out.

A fact that has the male wanting to burn himself alive a couple of hours later, when Morr winnows back carrying your passed out form in her arms, yelling at the top of her lungs for a healer as blood seeps out of a gash on your forehead

He moves so fast towards where Morr is holding you, she flinches at his sudden appearance, her grip on you loosening as he reaches and craddles you into his chest as Rhys winnows in with Majda, who demands the youngest Autumn heir to set you down onto the couch.

He is panicking, heart racing, head spinning, everything that is being said at him is fading into a background of ringing in his ears.

He stares, nauseous, as Majda begins her work, snapping himself out of his stupor as rage fills him.

Who dare hurt you? Who dare touch you?

The urge to vomit the bile that has risen in his throat only enhances as he hears a soft moan of pain pass between your lips, still unconicous to your surroundings

He turns towards Morr, who is staring helplessly at your form, all his rage suddenly directed towards her.

How dare she let this happen to you?

He is in total disarray, there is not controlling his emotions right now. Lucien yanks Morr towards him, not enough to hurt her, but enough to direct her attention to him, Azriel charging to pull her away, but not before Lucien can scream, "What the fuck happened to her?"

The poor female bursts into tears, resting her head on Luciens chest, "I don't know... I only left her for a moment... Oh gods, I am so sorry."

Regret floods through Lucien as Morr cries into his chest, and he moves to wrap his arms around her in a hug, rubbing at her shoulder until she is calm enough to pull away

But his thoughts aren't on Morr.

His regret isn't felt at yelling at Morr.

His regret is directed at you.

You. His best friend. His favorite being in the entire world. His favorite being to ever exist. He was the one who let you go. He was the one who didn't come to find you after you left, even though it had gotten too late into the night. He was the one who made you leave in the first place.

And in that moment. In that moment, he realized that he couldn't do this anymore.

The holding back. The fear of losing you if he tried to be anything more with you.

Because what if he loses you tonight? What if he loses you without telling you how he feels about you?

So when Majda is done, and she informs Lucien that you will be just fine with some rest, that your wound was only surface level and did not result in a concusion... he waited

He waited next to you, holding your hand throughout the night, resting his head right next to yours as you slept, letting one of his fingers trace your nose and lips before pressing a soft kiss onto your forehead, begging Mother above to have you wake up before his courage wears out

When you wake the next morning from snores coming from the fae right next to you, you find Lucien's long hair is practically in your mouth.

You grin, pushing his head slightly, jerking back when his head snaps up, glancing around, eyes wild.

A belly laugh erupts, "Oh Gods Luc, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you that bad."

And Lucien just stares down at you, incredulous that you are seriously playing games right now. After what happened last night.

You pause at Lucien's silence, awaiting his scolding for waking him up this early and so abruptly, but he just stares down at you.

"What the fuck happened last night?" he practically growls, unamused by your teasing

And then it all comes back. Slamming into you.

The male next to you. His nose had started bleeding perfusly. Like seriously, it was insane. And the sight of the blood dripping down his nose and onto his shirt had you feeling whoozy.

And the next thing you know...

You're waking up to Lucien's mane in your face.

Oh Gods, you must've fucking passed out and hit your head against the table when you fell.

Your entire face and neck flushes as you stare back at Lucien, not knowing how to respond without sounding like a complete fool.

You try coming up with an excuse, but your brain is still foggy from the slam against the table, and you are coming up empty.

So you lay there... gaping up at Lucien.

Totally not noticing the way the sun is making his golden skin glow... Totally not noticing the way his hair looks lucious for someone who slept in a slumped position the entire night... Totally not noticing his pink lips being so close to yours, that if you lean up, you could absolutely steal a kiss...

"Uhh.."

Thank the mother above Lucien doesn't let you finish, "I love you."

The words take a moment to register.

The initial feeling of thanks you were giving to Lucien for not forcing you to tell him how you made a complete fool of yourself is replaced with shock.

You were stunned.

The female was too stunned to speak. Literally.

"I have loved you since the moment I met you. And I can't believe I waited this long to tell you. But I was afraid. I was afraid of losing you. But Gods, I almost lost you last night. And mother, if I had?? I don't think I would be able to live with myself. I wouldn't be able to live without you. You are my drive. You are my hope. My reason to get up in the morning. My reason to live. I love you. I love you. I love you."

His speech comes out fast.

But you catch every word. And you hold it close to your heart.

And then you feel it. And so does he. A bond. A golden thread coming to life between you two. A thread that ties your hearts together, humming at the unbrideled joy you are feeling.

You shut your eyes, savoring this moment. Wanting to live in it forever.

"Are you okay, sweets?" Lucien asks you in such a soft, gentle voice, his hand coming to rub at your hair, pointedly avoiding the stitches.

A singular tear slips down your cheek, hot and fast, "I am perfect Luc. And I fucking love you too."

In honor of my 21st birthday today, here are the splatoon idols and how they act while drinking!

This is just a silly and fun idea, please drink responsibly folks!

Callie - The clingy one. She wants to cuddle with anyone and everyone, if you're within arms reach of her you will be getting hugged and snuggled until you go crazy. Also can be very giggly and silly!

Marie - She tends to loosen up a little after a drink or two, not a crazy amount but she'll be more open with people and less sarcastic and more genuine. Can get a little touchy but not nearly to the extent Callie can.

Pearl - I stg she is like a frat boy, she already does crazy things sober but when she's drinking she does not have any sense of if something is a good or bad idea, she needs to be babysat. She might get arrested.

Marina - An emotional drunk. She'll feel all of her emotions at 110% so she'll react to anything super dramatically, Pearl gives her a kiss? She starts crying bc she loves her wife so much. Someone tells a joke? She's laughing so hard her stomach hurts. There is no in between.

Shiver - Their ego gets so much bigger when they've had a drink, it has them feeling like the most important octopus in inkadia. If anyone denies them something they'll be like "Do you know who I am?!"

Frye - Just up to have a lot of fun, I think she'd like doing all the things at the bar or club while drinking. Like she wants to dance, play beer pong, sing karaoke, she'll do it all- albeit a bit terribly due to the alcohol lmao

Big Man - He'll have one drink and suddenly he is useless, doesn't know left from right, can't walk in a straight line or hardly at all. He really doesn't drink much so he's a big lightweight.

i have returned to expand upon the leech sibling dating idia post

i'm still impartial about writing the leech sibling as an oc or y/n, but i've just been calling them sage for now. on one hand, I really like the leech sibling reader fics, but on the other idk if it's okay to have this much lore and it still be an x reader.

anyways, i just wanted to write some general little hcs :)

they are the same age as jade and floyd. my reasoning for this one is just because it created more scenarios that made me giggle.

sorta a mix between the jade and floyd. not as unpredictable but also not completely calm. it depends on the situation, even if they choose to be chaotic at the most inappropriate times.

they like tech and internet related things. they're interested in video games and any relatively neat technology since there probably wasn't a lot of that in the coral sea. i also thought it'd be funny if they just had a hyperfixation on learning internet culture and became a living shitpost.

also i wanted them and idia to play obey me together bc teehee

they're in the light music club. not only are they in a room with kalim, lilia, and cater on a regular basis, but they're also given the tools to play music. mostly wanted this detail because they would play the most chaotic music. i could make an entire playlist for it stg-

they keep eating shit from the mostro lounge's kitchen. floyd doesn't do work 50% of the time, jade tries to force feed everyone mushrooms, sage is eating everything in the kitchen. perfect balance for giving azul a migraine.

"please stop eating the food, we need it for the customers"

"are you telling me to go hungry? you're making me do labor on an empty stomach? bad boss! horrible! jail for azul!"

sage dating idia would eventually lead to jade and floyd having the jurisdiction to enter idia's room. not because idia gave it to them, but because they're little shits and they wanted to bother their sibling.

like, sage and idia would be lying in bed after sage skipped work and floyd would just barge in for funsies.

you can't tell me that floyd wouldn't hop into bed with them and start a cuddle puddle.

at some point idia would stop screaming everytime and get used to it, surprisingly.

although it'd take a while for it to come to this, i feel like idia would end up getting fairly comfortable with floyd and jade. which would be an odd sight to see ignihyde's shut in dorm leader with the shady leech siblings.

ortho would immediately adopt the leech siblings as his own and get extremely excited whenever he saw them.

it makes it really hard for idia to be upset at them barging into his room when ortho is so happy about it

sometimes the leech siblings will just steal ortho

there's no reason

they just think it's funny and like hanging out with the little man

06x08//I Know A Place - weekly recap (I guess that’s a weekly thing now)

There’s a lot to unpack about this episode, so let me start off by saying that this is hands down one of the best episodes that has ever been written on this show (thanks to Leah Gonzales, who basically has a flawless track record on the show so far) and I’m here for it. I will also point out some minor points first before getting to the main parts of this episode, because those will need more writing.

- The time jump in the beginning felt a little jarring, but that’s apparently an issue the show has refused to work on for six seasons and counting, so we better accept that they simply skip major parts of storylines

- The time jump also leaves us wondering what the hell happened to Maya’s phsyical health? Guess she’s fine now? Kinda hard to believe that her only issue (physically) is her sprained ankle, but okay.

- Diane is back! (and we all love it)

- Theo got a bit of his own storyline and while it wasn’t a “big story”, I’m still glad they gave him that, because we once again saw his soft and caring and passionate character and it’s just the best thing

- Dixon being a jerk as usual but Ross doing The Right Thing and it was great. Was it unexpected after what she had told him earlier? No. Was it still incredible? Absolutely yes. The only thing spoiling this story a little was them injecting Sullivan into it once again towards the end, but at least that wasn’t downright awful this time.

- Maya and Diane: Finally. HMU did a fantastic job at making Maya look like she was feeling on the inside, and it was about time she started some proper therapy. The storytelling was really great and thoughtful and heartwrenching, even if they basically sped up months and years of trauma processing to fit it into one episode. But at the very least Diane made it clear that Maya would need regular sessions for the next few months at least, so they did not pretend Maya would be fine after one day with Diane

- random side note: it’s been discussed why Maya’s dad was so weirdly focused on her cousin. My best bet is that dude cheated on Maya’s mum and that kid has been his all along. But that’s just a bit silly thinking here, if anyone else wondered what was going on there too.

- Vic. Let’s get to Vic, okay? The woman who has been through so much in past seasons and is still so easily overlooked in her struggles, once again reaching her breaking point, but for once she does not push it away. I am really damn glad they included that scene of Vic acknlowledging that she is, in fact, absolutely not okay, and that it’s okay to share this pain with others. Also VERY important to note: Theo listened. Not only that, he also didn’t try to argue, or make this about him. He shut right up about his own issues once Vic opened up about her own feelings. He acknowledged them and was there for her. We know he is kinda awkward around feelings and using words, but goodness, did he show up with his listening and hugging skills. Ladies and gentlefolks, get yourself a partner like this, for real. Oh, and a friend like Travis, too, because that group hug was absolutely wonderful. Let’s hope they’re giving Vic some therapy too in the future, she sure as hell needs it.

- We don’t talk about the final scene, right? Okay, thanks, because that one’s wrecking me and I basically waited for a visual like this the moment Diane started talking about little Maya. I’m fine, I stg I’m fine after this.

PS: And for the love of god, can everyone in that damn station please stop trusting that Eli dude? No one ever found out why he randomly showed up at the station and selflessly offered his help, and I can’t believe the writers are trying to sell the fact that every single person on that show is dumb enough to never even question his motives. Seriously. But I’m still here for sassy Andy (”I’m literally the one who would show up”), as long as she doesn’t fall for this dude - she already has a bad enough track record in the boyfriend department as is, okay?

Guess who’s back with even more thoughts?? 2x02 time let’s gooo

Ugghhhh the location of this ‘prison’ is gonna haunt me I stg. These damn hills are so familiar to me and yet I cannot pinpoint where the bloody thing is. Looks like this will be on my list to hunt down next year ugh

Okay all of these security checks seem excessive when there is literally going to be a glass barrier between them anyway?? Also last ep Nadia got to bring in her bag but it seems like Thony didn’t? C'mon show I need consistency here lol. Tbh I’m sad that they don’t get to use the visitation room from 1x10 anymore, bc lbr we all know how much I wanted them to be able to touch their feet together under the table bc they can't hold hands lol

Anyway the important thing is that my boy is back on his feet, which makes me want to know how long has passed since his attack? Like a week? Seems like an appropriate amount of time to recover from multiple stab wounds and to be back in GenPop… tbh it can’t really be longer than a week given the state of his facial swelling. Also I’m gonna assume that he and Thony haven’t spoken since the call last ep, but he’s probably been able to speak to Nadia, and she has passed on updates to both sides?? So Thony knows about the attack, and he knows about Marco, even if neither of them have details?

But oh man the utter dismay on Thony’s face when she sees him, this is what I live forrrr. Did he know that his visitor was her? Or did he assume it was Nadia, and that’s why he looked like he was steeling himself to deal with her drama (lbr, she’s highly-strung lol) when he walked in?? But ugh instead he seems to slump a little and gives a sigh when he sits down across from her; he looks so tired and I love that he doesn’t have to hide that in front of her the way he would for Nadia

“Look what they did to you”-- omg. This is literally the closest to wearing her heart on her sleeve that Thony has ever gotten and I'm dying?? The emotion in it?? The very not-platonic intensity??? Ngl I also love that her first words are such an inane statement, like she is literally so overwhelmed rn that she can barely even do words. (especially since the words that were probably screaming in her head from the moment she saw him were some very intense ones in Khmer, and I would have died to have heard her speak those aloud lol)

But wait wtf excuse me how dare the scene cut there??? That better not be all we get or I will riot???

Also ugh Garrett. I don’t caaaare about you. Although it is handy that our baes are still able to go ahead and bribe the judge lol. Wait, Russo is leaving to go to Miami? I wonder if this is a plot thing or a ‘the actor wants out’ thing?? I will actually miss her ugh

Oh thank god we’re back at the prison. (words that people other than me probably never say lol). And okay I love that she literally came to visit Arman the moment he was out of the infirmary, even before Nadia it seems?? And ugh he asks about Luca (again, I’m assuming he already knew about Marco through Nadia, and lbr I’m probably going to do a fill-in fic for the rest of the conversation at some point lol) but anyway oh lord “how are you holding up?” and THEN “I feel like I’ve failed everyone” followed by DIRECT EYE CONTACT and ugghhhhh he knows she’s not just talking about Marco and Luca anymore and god he looks like he wants to hug her so badly (that little head tilt as he leans in?? help??) and he immediately makes it clear that he doesn’t blame her and she shouldn’t blame herself either ughhh. Also I love the choice the writers made here by having him be so soft when reassuring Thony and then only getting sharp/frustrated when talking about Nadia hahaha

“Be careful in here”/“That’s not how you survive”-- Wow, what a great character study in only a handful of words?? Also this feels like it’s going to be one of the themes this season, like the S2 version of “not the right way or the wrong way, but any way you can”. But oh man poor Thony is going to be extra worried about him now… as she watched him walk away, was she suddenly afraid that this might be the last time she'd ever see him alive??

Garrett has a very impressive habit of showing up where he’s not wanted. (Although to be fair, he’s not wanted anywhere, so…). Ngl though it does look kinda bad for her to be visiting Arman at this point in time given that she’s meant to be the grieving widow. Also “I know you had nothing to do with your husband’s death” sure sounds a lot like “I suspect that you had something to do with your husband’s death” lol. But he actually genuinely does seem to want to help her still, which he chooses to do by not shutting up about her staying away from Arman. Good luck with that one, buddy. God I love how pissed she looks when he brushes off Arman’s attack as ‘bad guys taking each other out’ omg. Honestly how was I ever afraid that this show would try to pull a Garrett/Thony/Arman love triangle, she literally cannot stand him like 90% of the time and it’s glorious hahahahaaaaaaa

“I’m here because Arman saved Luca’s life, and he deserves to know that he’s safe”. omg. Thony. That is… that is so incredibly weak?? like at least come up with a better explanation?? She literally basically went with “oh yeah my boss helped get surgery for my son like a two and a half weeks ago so now I am visiting him in prison to tell him that my son is now safe and sound after being abducted by his now-dead father, which was an event that by all accounts he should have had no idea about in the first place.” WHY WOULD THIS CONCERN YOUR TOTALLY PLATONIC ‘BOSS’, THONY? Like god you are doing an amazing job of announcing to Garrett that yours and Arman’s relationship is far more than just professional (though lbr, they all already know this lol.)

Oh hi again, ABQ airport! I remember you well haha. Also omg Fi’s dad is so little? And her mum is beautiful, wow– though she really doesn’t look much older than Fi herself haha. This is going to irk me a tiny bit but I guess I can roll with the idea she had kids very young?? And damn Thony really is persona non grata with these guys huh? So much for “my mother always loved you more than me” like Fi said in early S1…

Oh wow it feels weird to get subtitles for the Tagalog?? I’m so used to the show making us just figure it out ourselves. But I guess they were a bit more necessary to follow the plot this time. Also the cheerfulness/excitement of the greeting at home feels a bit weird considering they’re there because of a death in the family, but I guess it is a pretty special reunion/first meeting all the same? Man bereavement is weird.

Okay I am going to need to go back and look at kitchen scenes from S1 bc I stg there wasn’t a door there before. And who has a front door that opens directly into the kitchen anyway?? But I do like the look of this Detective Flores, she seems badass (and that accent is hot), even if her presence is immediately stressful lol. I'll ignore the fact that there's no way it would have taken a detective this long to come and question Thony about Marco though, it's been like a week!! Anyway I love that after the extremely uncomfortable response to her questioning/accidentally starting a family fight she’s like ‘ok yeah I’mma go’ and Thony is immediately like ‘oh god thank you’ lolll

Okay potentially unpopular opinion here, but I just can’t see Nadia and Robert as being a thing?? I mean I could believe that they were previously together (he’s handsome and rich, and Nadia is very attracted to power, after all), but they don’t have the chemistry of two people who were once in love. He has more the vibe of someone who is looking at something he once possessed and wants to add back to his collection, not someone who actually genuinely cared about her. And tbh I think Naveen is amazing but I just don’t think he was the right casting for this role at all. But idk who knows, maybe he’ll change my mind. I guess I was just hoping for someone amazing who would really sweep Nadia off her feet and out of the way of Armony lol

I enjoy this guy’s comment about Arman ‘taking the crown’-- feels like a nod to 1x10 (“The Crown” lol). Also lbr I would want to have Arman on my prison crew too lol. But oh shit he’s really gonna go after Hayak??

I don’t even have kids and I’m annoyed on Thony’s behalf at Lolo trying to parent her child for her lol. Shut your face, buddy, you can’t exactly give parenting advice when your son turned out to be an asshole and your daughter moved to another country to be away from you. Also, telling her she spoils Luca? Pot calling the kettle black much??

“Everything I did, I did for my son” man those words are starting to sound almost worn out now, like she’s repeated them so many times by this point– but lbr we all know that that’s not the whole truth Thony. But awww at Fi defending her, I love these sisters-by-choice <3

Oooh I found this location (where Chris sits on the curb after riding his bike) too! Literally recognised the building from a distance while driving on the interstate haha. Though it's a shame I didn't realise that it was the curb itself that was the important part lol. I also love that there are literally crew in the background of the shot while he was riding the bike lol, I haven’t seen the show have an ‘error’ like that before

Super cool shot with the train going past in the background! Still pissed I can’t figure out where the prison is haha. Also goddamn Arman is badass, casually sitting there bleeding through his shirt while staring Hayak down. We stan a sexy ruthless king lol

Aw, looks like Thony got her buddha necklace back from Garrett in the end! I kind of also love that she’s wearing it too bc I’m certain that Marco and his parents are catholic lol. What a power move/symbol that she follows her own path rather than theirs. Also it’s interesting to learn that Marco was a few years older than Fi– he was such a brat that I assumed he was the younger brother until she referred to him by ‘Kuya” (a term for an older brother/relative) in the last ep...

Nadia’s voice sounds deeper and older on this phone call?? Maybe alll this stress with Arman has aged her lol. I really do feel for her… but not enough to not be cheering for Armony haha

Damn Thony really is desperate to keep Arman safe if she is risking missing her own husband’s funeral to help get him out?? That’s what you call endgaaaaame lol

Ngl though, I kind of do love that she clearly only went through with it bc it was for Arman. Our girl really is ride or die for him ugh. Also, “No one pays attention to the cleaning lady”-- except Arman did, from the moment he saw you. Ugghh help me. And ugh Robert talking about making her clean stressed me out so much. I hate this creep SO MUCH.

Feeling super annoyed that this incredibly unrealistic prison infirmary setup is preventing me from enjoying shirtless Arman undisturbed lol (because holy hell, Thony needs to burn all of this man’s shirts so we get treated to this view all the time haha). But yeah, as someone who has worked (admittedly, only briefly) in a prison infirmary in the past, this setup is legit ridiculous lol. But then again, it is the US, so maybe that's just how things are done over there haha

“No one can pin me down” / “Unfortunately, neither could your wife” okay dude I don’t want Russo to leave, the only good part of Garrett’s scenes are when she (or Thony) is absolutely dragging him lol

The TCL writers are benevolent gods and I am their most grateful subject lol. Ngl I may have paused this scene quite a bit… for, uh, science. Also bless you wonderful gifmakers for already taking care of this lol. Tbh I'm slightly upset about the fact that this ep gave us the gloriousness that is both Thony and Arman half-naked, and yet it was in totally separate (and somewhat unfortunate) scenes lol. A goddamn tragedy tbh. And ok ngl I now have a sudden desperate need for Thony to see Arman shirtless.... c'mon writers you know you wanna do it

Anyway, respect to Hayak for actually taking on Arman himself, though we all know he wouldn’t have dared if Arman wasn’t already significantly wounded lol. He knows he’s outmatched otherwise. Also daaamn, the knot on this freaking towel is the strongest thing in the universe apparently?? lol. Another tragedy haha. And okay I know I’m going on and on about this, but literally HOW was he so unsupervised in the infirmary that he could possibly get hold of something like that?? (What is it supposed to be, anyway?? Bc I know what medications are likely to be stored in a cupboard like that and I know what medications could conceivably kill that fast and there is not a whole lot of crossover there lol)

But anyway yeah the whole syringe thing is ridiculous but I will roll with it lol. Just as i will ignore the even more ridiculous “I always loved you more than my own son” hahahaha. (Tbh there’s been a little bit of cliched dialogue in this ep but I will overlook it out of love). But damn, “It won’t be long now. Your heart will seize and it’ll be done” actually does sound pretty badass?? Moral of the story, DO NOT FUCK WITH ARMAN MORALES lol

(although ok I gotta question how he’s not going to get caught for this murder? Any death in custody gets an automatic autopsy, and they’ll find the injection site, and surely there’s cameras around the infirmary that show he was just there earlier, soooo? But nvm it’s fiction so *shrug*)

Man the dynamic between Chris and Luca is going to be so fascinating now. And imagine like an 18 year old Luca finding out that his cousin-brother killed his father? Tho lbr by that point Arman will be the only father he remembers :P

So glad Thony called him out on it and put her foot down, even if the issue didn’t actually get clearly resolved….

Okay EXCUSE ME WHAT. Are the writers kidding me with this imagery of Arman leaving his prison and walking free out into the light, overlaid with Thony reciting a sacrament so fitting that it could have been written solely for him???? I feel like I fucking ascended to a higher plane during this scene, bc jesus christ I have been to some of the most famous places of worship in the world and yet none of them felt as holy as my couch did while I experienced this moment. Not only did it have that sense of connected-even-at-a-distance that the ‘Someone To Watch Over Me’ scene in 1x07 evoked, but it took it even further, because even though this scene very clearly involved them engaging with their respective spouses (indirectly in Thony’s case of course), it was undeniably an Armony scene, and I’m sorry but I am going to be an utter mess about this forever?? And the fact that the writers chose to have Nadia remove his sunglasses– symbolically removing a ‘mask’ and letting him see the light– rather than showing the two of them kissing (even though I’m sure they probably did kiss, only moments later, though I’m grateful we didn’t have to see it lol) was legit incredible and have I mentioned I’m in love with this entire writers’ room or??????

Outer Banks season 2 Official Trailer shot-by-shot rundown

A comprehensive post where I scream about analyze the entire trailer frame by frame for clues, theories, and plot. Just my own opinions and general tin foil-hatting

These are screenshots from Netflix’s trailer for Outer Banks season 2. I do not claim or own any of these.

(Putting all of these shots together since they’re scenes we already know but-) Holy shit, okay let’s just....start off like this I guess, damn.

“'Trust me’, he said...”

Kiara looking back and forth between the boys like this really just feeds the headcanon I have that her form of grief this season is going to be her trying to hold it together for their sakes (and eventually just snapping).

JJ just looks fucking furious someone give these kids a hug? I already know this scene is going to ruin me.

“You can always go...”

JJ back working at the hotel. He looks literally so angry again in this scene I could see him self destructing at work and losing his job? (Please do not be isolating yourself you beautiful son of a bitch even though I know you’re going to).

Pope in the Twinkie (costuming wise they all are in warmer looking clothes for some of the shots, so just confirming it’s a little bit into the school year when this all takes place).

Big John was real big into pep talks, I see. (seriously can you imagine Big John having this conversation with like 8 year old John B after he fucking dropped his ice cream cone or some shit I shouldn’t be laughing).

For a while, I had thought that maybe they didn’t even make it to the Bahama’s at the front of the season and ended there (because everyone had been filming in there). But I guess they’re going to be making two trips.

If I were a bird from this POV I’d shit right on that house no questions asked.

So, previously, I was talking about how I was confused how they would still be trying to find him is everyone thought he was dead, but here the wanted poster clearly says “presumed lost at sea”. I think that will be interesting to see how the Pogues all interpret that.

Especially because they already had a memorial for John B and everything, I wonder if there will be any part of the Pogues holding out hope that they both could still be out there OUCH.

I’m going to circle back to this, but it looks like John B and Sarah are going to get separated for a little while in this man hunt, I could see my idiot himbo son trying to sacrifice himself so Sarah can get away but in reality just....stranding her.

“Well, Sarah Cameron, I do stupid things all the time without realizing it.”

The volume of his self awareness is astronomical. sir, that is your whole character summed up in your own words.

The complete abject terror I would feel having John Booker Routledge driving get-away and then saying the words “Hold on” while reaching fro the gear shift? The english language fails me.

what the plan or objective was in this situation. What was the reason for being this dramatic.

“Ward’s still out there...”

Okay, same conversation they were having as before. I wonder what makes them decide they need to get back to the OBX for this tho.

“I can clear my name. This can all be over in one shot.”

It looks like Topper watching this but way more concerningly, correct me if I’m wrong but this 100% looks like....John B gets caught. And the DEATH PENALTY?! He did have a mug shot for the fliers in s1 and the one above but he was never brought in? Plus he just looks super dirty and dishevled in this one so I-

Jail break anyone?

I also still want to know if they’re going to go with a Topper redemption arc this season. like, does he know more than he should just from being around Rafe and his big fat mouth? Is he going to help out the Pogues even if it’s just for Sarah?

This shot just suddenly made me really sad. The thought of this all started because Big John left one last thing for his son to find, his literal life’s work. And when it all started, it was just a fun adventure John B and his best friends were going on together and having fun with. Then it all got dragged to absolute shit and turned into what it did, including the remaining 3 Pogues thinking that this treasure hunt took their two best friends away from them. And it’s nothing like Big John intended it to be.

Why my eyes wet?

Now we’re edging into what I was talking about earlier with John B and Sarah getting separated.

“If you think there is anything I wouldn’t do...”

Once again, John B is no where to be found. Also, just in case y’all didn’t already know or forgot Ward is an actual psychopath.

I believe this one of the new character, played by Jontavious Johnson (Stubbs). Based on the voice over it lowkey sounds like they’re implying Ward maybe hired Stubbs and Cleo to find and bring Sarah back. My theory would be I bet they do go to retrieve her, but she somehow convinces them that it would be more beneficial for them in the end to be on the Pogue’s side instead.

Miss Girl you gotta be keeping your head on a SWIVEL. Especially when you’re a FUGITIVE of the LAW-

in all seriousness, the idea of them coming to face to face with Ward in Nassau after thinking they finally escaped him is genuinely terrifying.

“SARAH!”

It kind of looks like they’re either hiding their faces or covering their noses? I don’t know maybe it was from some tactic to get away from Ward.

What did I literally jsut say about yelling privileges, you unhinged mother fucker?

“I’m calling the shots now. I’m driving.”

The following progression of scenes made me actually snort-

“I can’t drive stick.”

PLEASE THE FINGER GUNS LAUNCHED ME INTO ORBIT I LOVE THEM, YOUR HONOR.

Alright, so now it looks like we’re in Charleston. This is the same scene with Heyward’s truck that got leaked from BTS (read: JJ and Kie shoulder touch).

One of the main things that stuck out to me in the following scenes which, you will see, is it lowkey looks like Pope is kind of heading up this part of the operation, or even going in alone? The following clips are just very Pope focused.

I don’t know what it means, it’s just an observation.

“John B was not the only one that Ward double-crossed.”

Bro, we have been hearing about this woman for literal months and I just have....so many questions?

Who the hell is she? How is she connected to Ward? Why is she in South Carolina instead of the OBX? How do the Pogues even learn about her and how to track her down? How is she meant to “help” them? GAH I JUST WANNA KNOOOW. I already know I don’t trust her though and no I will not be offering up supporting evidence.

The print on the paper is the same one that’s on the ceiling tiles in the following scene. Obviously, with a key on it that most likely goes to the place a few shots from now.

Bestie’s I’m not going to lie, I stared at this frame for a solid 10 minuets and I have no idea what it says on there I’m sorry. Someone in the comments is welcome to enlighten us.

I can’t tell if that’s just dirt or if he hurt his head? But he look GOOD right now for one thing. For another, same outfit as the one in the Twinkie from the beginning of the trailer.

I could literally cry right now and I think that speaks volumes to how little we actually see him genuinely happy. Have I mentioned how much I love that red hat?

Also, probably not that important, but this is not from the same scene as the shots of Pope and Kiara were. This is from the next one-

Yeah, this pushed me over the fucking edge, the way that they’re actually happy and laughing? The fact that they kept woogity-woogity and made it A Thing? Yes.

I am, however, going to be intentionally ignoring what appears to be the very intentional stagingof having such an obvious space between where Kiara and Pope are sitting adn where JJ sits, even including the level they’re sitting on because I don’t have the emotional capacity to face those implications right now. Thank you for your time.

I deadass think the Pogues JUST got Sarah and John B back and they’re just having the time of their life. Kie was in her smiley face outfit when Pope was in this one a few clips ago, and I still hold to the belief that that one still they released of JJ and Kie hopping over a fence is the Pogue reunion so-

Ward? I have no idea what he’s looking at behind the wall paper and I’ll be so honest I don’t care my eyes are only seeing Pogue content right now.

This fit, when will John B learn how to operate buttons, stay tuned for season 5. Also my previous theory of this being their reunion outfits and stuff because Pope is in the back in the same jacket as before.

The plot thickens and so has JJ’s hair, Rudy drop the shampoo brand.

It kind of looks like Ward and Rafe follow and find Sarah and John B in Nassau (unless those scenes by the truck were actually back in the OBX). So did they....go to Nassau, then just come right back when they did? I’m just confused.

The sewer scene. The SEWER SCENE-

For months sicne that tiktok leaked this damn scene has been genuinely all I could think about. So (obviously) it seems like they’re sending Kie down into the sewer to go do seomthing and things go horribly, horribly wrong.

If you haven’t seen the tiktok, essentially all it was was JJ and Pope screaming and trying to lift up the man hole cover while Kie is begging for them to hurry from inside. I’m cheating a little bit as this isn’t a shot from the trailer but this picture was posted and it’s from the same scene.

So, same scene as we will see and was in the teaser but, for some reason, they’re all jumping off of a giant ass boat into the little life raft where it looks like JJ gets hurt later but don’t you worry we’re getting to that.

Sarah at My Druther’s with what looks like a bloody bandage on her side? Same outfit she’s wearing when they’re running from the police on the beach and she has the bandage there too so. Interesting.

Topper hugging who I’m pretty sure is Sarah, being a general douche because he’s clearly looking at John B like 😏

Clips like these serve to remind me just how many of my worldly posessions I would gladly give up to be able to punch Topper Thorton in the throat one time.

I think this is Cleo jumping off the boat with Pope after John B and Sarah.

Absolutely busting a lung at Pope’s form in this one.

John B and Sarah waiting in the life raft, still Cleo and Pope coming after them. The obvious next question is where are JJ and Kiara. The scene I’m sure you all have been waiting for is coming up and clearly takes place in the life raft as well.

So, I really think JJ and Kie get left for last, something horrible happens as they’re trying to jump (my head instantly goes to JJ maybe like pushing Kie out of the way and getting hit on the head instead or even just some accident).

And, oh my GOD a scene of him falling off the boat after it happens and Kiara diving in after him immediately, having to desperatly try to stop him from sinkingand get to the life raft holy shit-

Girl CATCH HIM?????

Because why wouldn’t this be Rafe’s fault. Part of me wonders if this isn’t related to JJ being hurt.

I am going to try and unpack this as calmly as possible because behind my computer screen I am vibrating at a frequency that could shatter glass but respectfully.

WHAT IN THE FUCK IS TIAUEWFHLAILA

Okay, so scene wise, JJ’s hit his head somehow (probably while he was jumping with Kiara) it looks like and now they’re back on the raft.

In my opinion, this is either:

A) JJ is in really, really bad condition after getting hurt in the jump and they’re not sure he’s going to make it. So this is a “Please stay with me, stay awake, please don’t die” hug OR

B) They very narrowly just avoided a deadly situation (my first thought is JJ hits his head while jumping, passes out in the water, maybe almost drowns but Kie and the others get him onto the life raft in time) and this is more of a “Oh my God, you’re okay, you’re safe now, we’re okay” hug.

I honestly lean more to the second one based on the little bit of Sarah’s face we saw in the background. To me, it almost looked like she was smiling thru tears, which, fits way more with the second option than the first.

Anyways. Moving on before I burst a lung again.

(also, before anyone comes at me, no, I’m not happy JJ is hurt, obviously.

(Once again, arrest outfits). You can still see the bandage but it looks like Sarah’s limping now too so...good Lord give the girl a break maybe?

Everything in this trailer just went to shit so fast I think I have whip lash, can we go back to the Pogues hanging out and being happy now pkease I liked those scenes.

She’s cute but, uh, hello sewer scene outfits. Seems like them planning to do whatever the hell they were going to do in the sewers but the boys are starting to get cold feet as maybe they should but hind sight is 20/20 I suppose.

I will never be able to express how much I adore Pogue banter and general dumbassery and I have a feeling this season will not be lacking in either department

I high key don’t think these two are actually going to be there for this scene to go down but I’ll let it slide this time because-

They do be kinda cute.

It both feels like I’ve been waiting for this damn show for 3 years and also like I just watched season 1 last month explain that to me.

Either way holy shit. I missed this dumb show and these dumb kids so much it physcially hurts and WE GET THEM BACK IN T-MINUS 16 DAYS.

Warnings: Love confession, mutual pining, swimming, swearing, Richie Tozier (it’s a warning within itself), kissing, tooth-rotting fluff I stg, Losers Club are aged up to 17, super crappy ending, not proofread, I think that’s it! Please let me know if I missed anything!

Summary: The other Losers know for a fact that Bev returns Y/N’s feelings, even though she’s blind to them herself. But after a set up one day, maybe she’ll see the light.

Notes: My first ever It (2017) fic! Also my first fic on Tumblr! Thank you to anyone who read this, because it’s taking a lot of courage to write this, let alone post it…. Yeah, Bev and Richie are my favorite characters in the movies, and, given my url, I figured my first fic should be a Bev fic! Anyways, I hope you enjoy!

“She likes you back, Y/N,”

“No she doesn’t.”

“Stop fighting it, we all see it!”

Y/N looked at Richie with a roll of her eyes, turning back forward to avoid crashing into anyone or anything with her bike. “Can you stop with that? I don’t want you giving me false hope when I know she doesn’t like me back,”

Richie was the one to roll his eyes this time.

Everyone in the Losers Club knew that Y/N had had a crush on Bev for as long as they could all remember. Since the first day she saw Bev in the pharmacy after they found Ben outside the sewers and had gone in to find the supplies to fix him up.

Bev had been the one to save the day. She had distracted the man at the counter while they took the things they needed, and had come back afterwards to make sure that Ben was okay. Of course, Y/N had realized that it was not the time to be admiring Bev, seeing as Ben had just had a pretty rough run-in with Bowers, and Eddie was freaking out enough as it was.

It didn’t take long for Y/N to fall completely in love with the red-headed Derry resident. She lived in the apartment above hers, and whenever Bev’s dad fell asleep, Bev would climb down the fire escape and climb into Y/N’s window.

Y/N would sit with her and listen to what she said, or would just sit there, and the girls would hug.

On those nights when Bev either couldn’t go down to Y/N’s apartment, or didn’t need to, Y/N would lay down, and stare up at the ceiling, knowing that Bev’s room was directly above her own. She would wonder what Bev was doing, if she was reading the secret admirer note that Ben had given her, or if she was thinking of Y/N just as much as she was thinking of Bev.

It was torture.

It took a little longer for the other members of the Losers Club to realize that Y/N was falling in love with Bev. After that, they all began encouraging her to confess to Bev, because even though at the time they hadn’t seen the light that ignited in Bev’s eyes the second they landed on Y/N, they wanted their friends to be happy, and who else to be happy with but each other?

That was all when they were twelve, nearly five years ago. In that time, they had all seen that Bev loved Y/N the same way Y/N loved Bev. It was hard to watch the two beat around the bush with each other; subtle flirting that neither one noticed (though everyone else did), and even harder to see them think that the other was in love with other people, though everyone else thought it was painfully obvious to everyone else that it was each other they were in love with.

Now, as Y/N and Richie biked home together, Richie tried his best to convince Y/N for the thousandth time that Bev liked her back, no, loved her back.

“I’m sorry Rich, I want to believe you, I really do,” Y/N said for the thousandth time. “But you’ve gotta be blind to not see that Bev and Bill are in love with each other,”

Richie quickly realized that he didn’t have enough energy to argue with her today, even though he still wanted to, instead opting for a safer topic: the test that Mr. Herrd gave them today, that Richie was fairly sure he had failed.

“They’re both fuckin idiots,”

Everyone nodded in agreement at Richie’s statement as the entire Losers Club watched Y/N and Bev play around and splash each other in the lake in the quarry, both of them giggling like little girls, their cheeks bright pink, and not from the sun.

“Bev!” Y/N squealed as Bev splashed her with a particularly large amount of water. After taking a second to regain herself, she retaliated by splashing an even larger amount of water at Bev.

“It’s like they’re both wearing signs saying, ‘I’m in love with the person standing in front of me, but since I’m both a pussy and an idiot, I haven’t said anything yet,”

Stan rolled his eyes at Richie’s language, but agreed nonetheless. “I wish they would just admit it to each other already. To be honest, it’s getting tiring. Should we just… lock them in a room together and not let them leave until they confess?”

“That’s an idea,” Bill smiled.

“Maybe we should say we’re meeting at the Quarry but then none of us show up,” Eddie suggested. “Chances are they’re gonna stay and hang out, and maybe if we’re lucky they’ll say something?”

Richie scoffed. “Knowing them, fat chance. I think if this plan fails, we should go with Stan’s idea,”

The others all agreed, and decided when the best date would be to set this up, and then set the date for their backup plan, and decided they would do it at Bill’s house, since his is the biggest and they would be able to hang around and check in on them regularly without having to hear them kick and scream.

“You guys coming back?” Y/N broke the boys out of their trance after her and Bev realized that they had been splashing each other for nearly fifteen minutes, when they should have been splashing the boys. “We’re getting bored!”

The boys all gave each other a sly look before immediately running back towards the water, splashing Bev and Y/N immediately, all of them laughing as they got splashed back.

“Are they coming?”

Bev and Y/N had been at the Quarry for nearly half an hour, both of them laying against the rocks, sunbathing, in just their bikinis. It took everything in both of them not to stare at the other and admire everything about them.

Y/N glanced at the watch that she had taken off her wrist, anticipating that they’d be swimming, and saw that it was now forty five minutes after noon, the time all the Losers had agreed to be at the Quarry.

Y/N sighed. “I don’t think so. Maybe they all forgot?”

Bev laughed. “You think Stan forgot? He’s probably at Richie’s with the others trying to get Richie out of bed. How much d’you wanna bet he stayed up all night on his Gameboy again, and now he’s sleeping the day away?”

She said the last part in a mock-dreamy way, a tone of voice that had Y/N’s heart soaring. She had always loved the sound of Bev’s voice, and there were certain times when it would just go straight to tug on Y/N’s heartstrings. It was never a particular time, just… Bev.

Everything about Bev was magical to Y/N. Somehow, all it took was one small smile, one of Bev’s smiles, and all of a sudden, Y/N was a completely different person.

Normally, she didn’t really like physical contact. It wasn’t anything in particular that had caused it, she just never was a really cuddly person. She could enjoy a short hug, or a quick high five, but anything longer than about three seconds made her uncomfortable

She wasn’t that way with Bev. Y/N would hug her for eternity, and would never want to stop. The two often held hands, and told everyone else that it was purely platonic, though Y/N secretly wished that it would be something more.

Y/N knew that Bev was still talking, but she couldn’t focus on anything more than the way that Bev’s lips were moving, as they moved quickly and perfectly to form the words that were on Bev’s brain.

The conscious, realistic part of Y/N’s brain told her that she should be focusing on what her friend was actually saying. That in just a few seconds, Bev was going to do the thing that they always did in movies where she waved her hand in front of Y/N’s face and asked if she had heard anything she said.

Sure enough, she did.

“Y/N/N, are you even listening to me?” Bev asked with a small chuckle.

The sound alone sent more heat to Y/N’s cheeks.

“S-sorry,” Y/N said quickly, shaking her head, almost as if that would clear her head of the thoughts she shouldn’t be having about her best friend. “Just uh… feeling a little out of it today, that’s all,”

Bev nodded in understanding. “Yeah. Today just… feels weird.”

Y/N nodded in agreement.

The two stayed silent for a few more minutes, before Y/N sat up again. “So, since the boys aren’t coming, we probably shouldn’t wait for them to start swimming, right?”

Bev nodded in agreement, before jumping up and running towards the water, yelling, “Last one in the water is a dancing clown!” behind her, before immediately splashing into the water, getting to a deep enough area, and diving in.

Y/N cursed herself, and then immediately launched herself into the water after Bev, inadvertently splashing her with water as she came out of the water herself at the perfect time.

Y/N shook the water droplets out of her hair, refraining from watching as Bev dried out her own hair, slipping the loose dress that she had brought with her over the bikini that she had worn.

It was now five forty five, and Y/N was going to be expected home for dinner soon. After realizing this, she had reluctantly told Bev that she needed to head home.

Since they lived in the same apartment complex, Bev said she’d go with her.

The sunlight from the sunset bounced off the lake and onto the two girls standing on the beach next to the lake in the Quarry.

Y/N couldn’t help herself this time. She looked up to Bev, and found that she was staring at her the same way, admiring how the golden light danced across her skin, from the top of her coppery red curls to the very bottom of her feet.

Before she could even process what she was doing, Y/N quickly closed the space between her and Bev, pressing her lips against Bev’s.

It only took Bev two seconds to kiss back, relieved that Y/N had been the one to make the first move.

After a few seconds, they realized that they needed air, so the two reluctantly pulled apart, resting their foreheads together.

“Do you have any idea how long I’ve wanted to do that?” Y/N whispered breathlessly.

“It was love at first sight, wasn’t it?” Bev asked. “I saw you with the boys and I knew that it was always going to be you. It’s always been you, Y/N,”

“It’s always been you, Bev,”

The two pulled apart, Bev’s arms still wrapped around Y/N’s neck, Y/N’s hands placed lovingly on Bev’s waist. As she looked into Bev’s eyes, she saw a glint in her eyes that she hadn’t seen before.

The light made Bev’s eyes even brighter than they already were, and the longer Y/N looked at her, the more she fell in love.

“I love you, Bev,” she confessed quietly, feeling like a weight had been lifted off her shoulder at the confession. “I always have.

☘︎︎ she isn’t looking for any kind of kindness from anyone, so at first she simply allows them to live because they make good cookies. However, she’s quickly attached to her darling and wants all of their time, and she gets it because of course Monaca always gets her way. It’s just something she sees as she deserves, especially when she thinks about all of the isolation she went through with her family. Monaca believes that she’s fully deserving of her darlings affection, and monopolizes it as much as she can, often pushing the other Warriors aside to get what she wants. It’s selfish, fully so, but again, no ones going against what Monaca says because she’s their leader, even if it isn’t said out loud.

☘︎︎ he’s not very trusting in general and his darling is no exception to this. Nagisa doesn’t trust them in the slightest, and since he’s not used to kindness at all, it just makes him even more suspicious of them in the first place. However, I feel like he’d slowly warm up to them and actually start to yearn for the kindness that they offer to him. It becomes something that he randomly needs throughout the day, and he’ll do this thing where he just waist around for them to give him a hug or a kiss on the forehead. It’s really cute and it’s not like Nagisa really asks for a lot, just a crumb of affection is all he needs to get through the day, that’s all. Nagisa encourages affection towards the other Warriors, too, because he knows how it feels.

☘︎︎ honestly? She just really wants someone to cherish her in a sweet way, and the fact that her darling is so kind towards her just makes her infatuation with them all the more intense. Kotoko will often follow her darling around and openly ask for a hug or for them to carry her around on their shoulders, things like that make her extremely happy and it puts her in a good mood for the rest of the day. She’s very clingy towards her darling and often finds herself following them around when she’s supposed to be doing other things, it might get her in trouble with the other Warriors, but she doesn’t particularly care as long as she can get her daily hug or forehead kiss. She’s kind of needy, but it’s understandable why.

☘︎︎ he kind of pushes his darling away at first because much like Nagisa he doesn’t trust them in the slightest. This quickly crumbles, though, and he becomes just as dependent on them as Kotoko is. Their affection is something he literally cannot go without, and he revels in their kindness because pretty much everyone else treats him like garbage. On the other hand, though, Jataro doesn’t feel like he deserves any of the affection he receives from them and often says this in the most self-deprecative way possible, and becomes surprised when his darling tells him not to talk like that about himself. His darling is a symbol of hope for Jataro, and he cares very deeply for them, often helping them whenever he can.

daimon masaru

☘︎︎ he’s the most difficult out of all of them, honestly. Masaru doesn’t trust them in the slightest at first, but he’s not subtle about how he feels, and often tells them how he’s angry that Monaca let them live, things like that. This behavior stops the moment he’s given even the slightest bit of attention. He becomes addicted to any type of affection he can get out of them, and while he’d never admit it out loud, he literally begs his darling to cuddle him at the end of the day. It’s sweet, in a way, and he’s almost as needy as Kotoko is, which is definitely saying something. Masaru is the most dependent out of the Warriors and has moments where he can’t leave his darlings side. They’re all starved for affection.

“Oh by the way guys I have Y/N here for the stream today.” Corpse said to his chat as he moved his little guy around in Among Us. “Hai!” Y/N said happily. Corpse had them sitting on his lap just chilling and watching their father play. It has been a couple months since the announcement of Y/Ns existence happened and everyone fell in love. Corpse did have to tell Y/N how to deal with it and not to share his identity to anyone who asks. He was enjoying a happy life, getting so much support by his fans and his friends. Life was good, for once. But with happiness comes sadness, and of course with friendliness comes hatred. And there was hate.

People did not trust Corpse with a child, sadly. The hashtag ‘CorpseCPS’ trended on Twitter before someone came out and told everyone to fuck off. But even if that hashtag stopped, that didn’t stop the haters. People still tweeted about it, hated on Corpses kid, and just been assholes.

“Corpse Husband is not fit to be a father. He already told a majority of his fans about his mental problems, so do you really think he will raise that kid properly? #CorpseCPS”

“Wouldn’t be surprised if Y/N will grow up to not be able to sleep at night. Just like their father.”

“I stg I bet Y/N is terrified of Corpse. Have you heard his music and seen his videos? I wouldn’t trust someone like him with a child, he could emotionally abuse them. Someone call CPS!!! #CorpseCPS”

“Who the fuck is accepting single fathers? Children belong to their mothers, not their fathers. I hope @Corpse_Husband realized how he fucked up and gives that poor kid back to its mother.”

“Bet that the mother of Corpses kid fought so much for custody on that poor child on god.”

“Someone save this child. #CorpseCPS”

It really got to Corpse, making him think he wasn’t capable of raising Y/N. Was everybody right? Was he going to mess this child up? He didn’t like thinking about, but his mind always trailed back to it. It worried him, the only thing he wanted was to make his kid happy. Was he doing a bad job? Was his kid going to grow up wrong?

“Can you guys please let me live my life and raise my kid? Don’t think you’d feel good if someone said you weren’t capable of raising the kid you had. Jesus.”

Corpse Tweeted that when the anxiety and bad thoughts got too much for him, hoping this would calm them down. But one small Tweet doesn’t go a long way sometimes. He was glad most of his fanbase supported him, at least his friends did. And now he didn’t have to worry about the haters. Right now, it was streaming with Y/N time.

“Alright Y/N, you control the little astronaut like this..” Corpse put Y/Ns hand on the mouse and put his over it, moving his horned avatar through the halls on the screen. “Those red words are my gamer tag, Corpse. Red means im an imposter and white means crewmate. The goal of the game as an imposter is to kill everyone without them finding out its you. The crewmates need to find out who the imposter is an eject them.”

“Okeh!” Y/N said excitedly and laughed.

Corpse smiled fondly. He loved Y/Ns laugh, it melted his heart. “Ok, see those cameras?” Y/N nodded, “You gotta be careful killing people around those, someone could be watching.” Corpse moved to electrical, “See? This is electrical. And there's, felix. Whoop, now hes dead.”

“That was mean!” Y/N whined.

“It’s the point of the game though!” Corpse quickly vented. “Okay, to kill people, you click this.” He showed Y/N how to kill people, “And to hop into a vent to get away, you click this.” He showed Y/N how to vent. “Now, during an emergency meeting you need an alibi.”

“Whats an alibi?” Y/N asked, glancing up at their fathers face.

“If someone blames you for wiping someone out, you have to have an excuse to why you didn’t do it. That’s an alibi.” Corpse explained, heading down the hallway. “So next time after the next emergency meeting, you will play! Sound fun?” He smiled when Y/N replied with an upbeat yes. Then a body was reported, “Ok Y/N, don’t tell anyone it was us, alright?” Y/N nodded.

“Where was the body?” Poki asked.

“I found it in electrical.” Sykkuno replied.

“I did see Sean go that way.” Corpse said, making Sean instantly reply.

“I was just passing by!” Sean argued, “What about you Corpse? Didn’t you go near electrical?”

“It was you Sean I saw it wit my own 2 eyes!” Y/N called out, making everyone nearly die.

“Well you can’t really argue with that one Sean.” Charlie chuckled.

“Vote Sean the council has decided.” Sykkuno declared.

“Wha-- I- B--” Sean stuttered as everyone vote for him. Soon, they all watched him float into the abyss of space.

Corpse chuckled, “You’re my superpower Y/N. Ok, I’ll guide you along but its your turn to play.”

Y/N made a happy squeal, putting their hand over the mouse and moving the astronaut across the screen excitedly. Corpse guided them along, having his hand placed over theirs. “Ok Y/N, be careful. remember, there are cameras.”

“Okie.” Y/N said, heading down the hallway. They walked around for a bit and Corpse helped them fake tasks. “Ok, see Toast? We’re gonna kill him.” Corpse checked for cameras, “Do you remember how?” Corpse asked.

“Yah!” Y/N moved the astronaut forward, killing Toast.

“Ok now vent, vent vent vent!” Corpse said, leaning forward and moving the astronaut to hover over the vent. Y/N stalled but clicked the right button, quickly venting right when Poki walked in. A dead body was reported, and they were back at the emergency meeting.

“It was Corpse!! It was Corpse!! I saw him vent!” Poki screamed, being way too loud to Corpse, but he didn’t mind anymore.

“That wasn’t me.” Corpse lied, “Where was the body?”

“I found it it navigation! You vented!” Poki said.

“Mmm nah it wasn’t me. I was in storage.” Corpse lied again, making Y/N feel pretty damn bad. I swear, this child was so innocent. They couldn’t stand seeing lies and murders happening. So, they said “It was dad!”

“HAH! They just exposed you!” Sean laughed loudly.

“Oh my god the betrayal.” Charlie laughed as well.

“Vote Corpse!” Poki yelled, “I told you!”

“Y/N knows whats right.” Sykkuno said, voting for Corpse.

Corpse gasped, “Noo! that’s not how’re supposed to play the game!” Corpse sighed, watching as everyone voted for him. Y/N frowned, “Im sorry..” Corpse hugged Y/N, “no no it’s fine. Just don’t betray me like that.” he chuckled, watching his astronaut float through space. He sighed again, “Better luck next time. Guess I have to train you how to be a ghost.”

Y/Ns eyes lit up, “Yaaaayyyy!~”
