That's ok! But I got a new request! Those headcanons for the Harbingers' S/O clobbering people got me thinking... Can I request headcanons about the Harbingers having a sweet and precious S/O who is also incredibly strong? They just regularly bench press Fatui Skirmishers, like the Electro ones with the hammers, will fist fight hilichurls and win, and carry loads that look like they could crush them with ease. Even more confusing if they have an average or slender build.

RE headcanons!

PART 1 (if you like it I'll make a sequel with other characters. I was just bored)

My serious headcanons about some RE characters. Some I'll write about more than others because I thought about them more often, I apologize in advance.

Chris Redfield

— his favorite color is green, he enjoys this color and adds it to any set of clothes, even his military gear. He doesn't care if shades of green may not match at all in the same outfit, he just wears that color because he loves it.

— his favorite genre of music in the early years, judging by his daring clothes, guitar and references to «Queen», was heavy metal and pop-rock. Nowadays, many years later, he probably likes the laid-back tunes of «Roxette» and «Savage» because Chris' life has become hectic and he needs an island of peace.

— he smokes, but he's not a heavy smoker. In his youth, Chris smoked a lot and often, judging by his concept art. Now, however, he smokes to get in the right frame of mind and pace, to focus and calm down.

— After the amnesia episode, Chris stopped drinking and now only drinks on holidays. Drinking has become disgusting to him, it reminds him of his episode of weakness.

— Chris prefers his natural scent, doesn't use any special perfume on himself because he washes with regular soap.

— he's a latent gay man, but he's never been in a relationship. Chris seriously doesn't understand why he isn't attracted to women. The last thing he thinks about is his real orientation. He's silly.

— he likes Wesker more than Chris is willing to admit. Since he doesn't realize what kind of attraction it is, Chris doesn't guess his crush. He's too inexperienced in love affairs to realize it. Especially when it comes to Wesker, who he has a ton of emotions associated with, a lot of which are negative.

— Chris has some guitar skills, but after 1998, he barely remembers it. He can't sing, he's just an amateur at it.

— he doesn't know how to cook, ordering takeaways. Chris doesn't like junk food, having given up his attempts to learn how to cook and not even opening the cookbook Claire gave him.

— Chris never has enough time to shave his face or cut his hair. But that doesn't bother him.

— he had a low grade in school, Chris liked fun more than textbooks.

Wesker

— his favorite color is blue, but Wesker doesn't like others to know too much about it, so he adds this color to his clothes very carefully. Blue color in his clothes has never been the main color, it is only an accent.

— Wesker doesn't usually listen to music, he prefers silence, but if he had to choose, he would settle for Frank Sinatra songs. He can only listen to something that won't throw him off his thoughts.

— Wesker doesn't smoke or drink. Spencer dreamed of creating an ideal society, so he raised the Weskers as ideal people. Such people should not drink and smoke. These people should only spend time on self-development and so on.

— he doesn't swear. Wesker doesn't like and/or know how to swear because of his «proper» upbringing. He will never insult a person with a rude word, but will pick up the most innocuous one, even if he is very angry. Who shouts «self-righteous fools» or «ignorant cretins» in anger? Only the child or Wesker, because in his situation I'd be yelling «assholes», «fucking bastards» and so on. He's polite and well-mannered, just like Spencer wanted.

— he has a good sense of humor. Wesker doesn't seem like a joker because his jokes are very subtle and infrequent. He says «I have a date to keep» and then goes and destroys the Red Queen with the phrase «goodbye, fair lady», isn't he the most serious joker in fandom after that?

— Wesker is pansexual, but he doesn't care about relationships and so he, like Chris, is not even aware of his preference. He doesn't pay attention to it, so his involvement with Ms. Muller or his sudden obsession with Chris doesn't give him any reason to wonder what his orientation is. He doesn't care.

— he's in love with Chris, but he sees those feelings as a manifestation of his pride in him.

— his bathroom shelf is filled with various self-care products, and he is very worried about his appearance. First, the smell of his perfume enters the room, and then Wesker enters.

— Ms. Muller was not just a «one-night stand» for him, there was a warm relationship between them, because she remained in good opinion of him and even kept the child. This is a side of Wesker that is unknown to the players, because he had no opportunity or chance to show it. I think they broke up because Wesker was getting too attached to this woman and she was becoming his weakness, and he «can't have weaknesses». His job may have also interfered with the relationship, causing Muller to make her own decision to get out of his way, keeping the good memories alive. Wesker, on the other hand, tried to forget about that pleasant time with her so it wouldn't interfere with him.

— he is not ashamed to recognize someone else's merits and praise another person. He appreciates people who are good at something, he is sincere about it.

— Wesker is not a villain and an antagonist, he is the anti-villain. He has all the personality traits that fit that definition. He is not the pure evil that many believe him to be due to their inattention.

— he can cook, and he does it well. Wesker is known for being great at everything and cooking is no exception. Back in the days of S.T.A.R.S., he took care of his healthy diet, but once he gained power and became a bioterrorist, he stopped cooking for himself, preferring to order food from restaurants or have a personal chef. Because of the virus, he doesn't need to eat as often as normal people, so he really enjoys the process, since it rarely happens.

— because of his principles or Spencer's upbringing, Wesker can't directly harm a child. Children have never been a target for him, and he considers it beneath his dignity.

— his name is a mononym. Wesker doesn't call himself Albert and doesn't like it when others do (but doesn't stop them out of politeness). He is Wesker to everyone and to himself. However, there is a contradiction here — he hates the word «Wesker» and this whole project. Surely he must have considered changing his name if he had achieved the evolution of humanity. He still uses his initials AW when necessary.

Leon S Kennedy

— Leon has no color preference, he wears whatever clothes he feels comfortable in. He doesn't care if the colors don't match.

— he loves children and is easy to get along with.

— he uses feminine shower gels and likes sweet scents.

— likes to drink to relax or for any other reason. But he doesn't smoke.

— the music that Leon likes is very hard to define. He is probably a music lover who listens to whatever he likes.

— Leon isn't shy about swearing. He likes to make silly jokes to lighten the mood.

— He knows how to cook, but not very well, but these skills are enough for him. Leon can make toast or fry eggs, but it would be difficult for him to cook something more complicated, so he often watches tutorials on the Internet or eats fast food.

— Leon is bisexual and he knows it. He's crazy about Ada Wong, but he tries to hide it, which is unsuccessful.

— he likes karaoke.

— it annoyed him that if he showed up in any kind of transportation, there was a high probability of an accident or something. He sometimes wondered if he was a loser.

— he had a girlfriend once, but the affair was so casual that it broke up after almost a month.

— In school he had average grades, Leon could not be called a bad student, but he was not an excellent student either.

Ada Wong

— her favorite color is not only red, but also black.

— she loves elegant clothes and doesn't care if they don't fit her work. Despite the design, Ada chooses only clothes in which she can move freely.

— only Wesker knows her real name, and her name «Ada Wong» is just a rehash of «AW» (Albert Wesker).

— I like to think that she and Wesker could have acted like best friends, but voluntarily opted out for personal reasons.

— Ada pretends not to like music, but she actually likes «Marina and the Diamonds». She listens to these songs alone, in a deserted place.

— she smoked once, but she quit. She doesn't drink.

— Ada doesn't have any holidays, she doesn't even celebrate her own birthday.

— she's straight, and she's openly attracted to Leon.

— loves subtle scents in perfume, she always smells nice, but this scent is barely perceptible.

— Ada can't cook and hasn't tried to learn. She eats food from cafes and prefers to go there herself instead of having it delivered.

— She has no problem with foreign languages, she probably knows a few besides English.

— she was an honors student in school and she's easy to learn new things.

— Ada is an anti-hero.

Alex Wesker

— Alex's favorite color is white. It is the color of sterility and truth that she strives for in her research.

— I guess her full name is Alexandra.

— loves getting her nails done to cheer herself up. Due to illness and failed experiments, she is always in a bad mood, so taking care of herself helps her keep her head cool and rational.

— Alex loved her own short hair, which she had in the past, but it reminded her too much of Albert, whom she respected. Because of what she knew about «Project W» and the truth about them, Alex felt a kind of guilt for keeping her brother in the dark and lying. So she changed her image so she wouldn't think about it.

— she's a lesbian.

— Alex knows Russian.

— she must have a secret altar in her house dedicated to Albert.

— she respects Albert so much that she even tries to think and act like him. It is forbidden to insult her brother in her presence, even though they have hardly ever met and are not related.

— Alex did grieve when she learned of her brother's death in the volcano. But when she learned of his death in 1998, she was not sad, because she had not yet had time to get to know him so well and get into his personality.

— the clothes Alex wears are formal and office style. She doesn't like to wear something informal because she feels insecure in it.

— the mole under her eye is painted, or appeared there with age.

— Alex likes only classical music, her ear cannot perceive anything from modern genres.

— Has never thought about relationships, but can admit if she likes someone.

— Alex's only humor is black.

— often communicates with quotes from books, like someone quotes from songs. This helps her to express her thoughts properly and emphasize them.

— she's a lot harder to piss off than Albert.

notes. this was a little fun thing to write about and it mostly came out as word vomit, so i’m sorry about that ! enjoy reading tho ❤︎ + not proofread

neteyam ⸰ֺ ࣭⭑𓄹

since he mostly hangs out with his parents to do some patrolling around pandora or hunting whenever he’s asked to— neteyam barely has time to chill. but when he does, he collects different types of stones and gems to make meaningful jewelry. he would be stuck in his tent for hours just arranging beads and stones together while thinking of the person he’s making it for. neteyam made one for neytiri, tuk, and kiri (his favorite girls). when he gifts it to them, he explains each meaning of certain stones/gems and why he chose them. one of his other hobbies is to sleep within the forest. of course, he would look for possible threats before he lounges in the leaves and falls into a deep slumber.

when kiri and lo’ak venture around pandora, neteyam is left with tuk. he loves to take care of her. he’s always holding onto his baby sister or is always sitting at eye level with her to speak to her as a sign of respect. neteyam carves out wooden dolls for tuk as well, he would spend a lot of time making the tiniest details and making sure that it was perfect (and safe) for tuk to play with. he’s even made a replica of the sully family. she probably has over dozens of wooden dolls and she forces neteyam to play with her. of course, neteyam plays with her and takes it very seriously.

neteyam is very popular within the omatikaya clan. a lot of the elderly folks and adults love to swoon over him, complimenting him whenever he comes by. this also means that he would be asked a lot of favors, which he doesn’t mind at all. neteyam is always walking around carrying heavy baskets filled with food and essential material all around the village. many other young girls crush on him as well. their mothers would go up to neteyam and basically play matchmaker so their daughters could have a chance with him and become his mate in the future. upon hearing this, neytiri tells all the village people to stop pestering neteyam all the time (she threatened some of the women that day as well). overall, neteyam is just hopelessly popular and wants to pay gratitude to the people he cares about.

personally, i see neteyam to be a subtly hater of the sky people, especially those who he’s unfamiliar with. whenever spider would visit their village, he would be a lot more distant and quiet (he’s a bit suspicious of his intentions at times). he has heard all the horrid stories from his mother and he made a silent vow that he would be more cautious around sky people; especially towards spider, knowing he’s the son of quaritch. it took awhile for neteyam to warm up to norm and the other scientists, but he eventually trusted them and now, he would occasionally visit their lab to study or watch over kiri when she wanted to see grace. neteyam just prefers to be with his own people and tends to be cautious on who he really trust, especially towards humans.

loves storytelling. neteyam has many things to share to anybody and everybody around him is always so curious about his adventures and accomplishments. occasionally, he would huddle with the village’s children and share amazing stories about the things he’s done with his family. when the sully family sought sanctuary from the metkayina clan, the sea children would be so curious about the forest and he couldn’t help but share all the traditions they have. neteyam loves to share his personal stories and share the tradition and culture of his clan whenever he has the chance.

while also being raised by spiritual traditions, neteyam learned more scientific knowledge. he was mostly taught by his father, going into the lab to study how the body works and what to do when an emergency happens. neteyam would sometimes be at the lab reading a book about physiology or curiously looking over how humans can transport themselves into an avatar (the sky people love it when he’s there). neteyam loves knowledge and he’s thankful to share both his mom’s spiritual background and his dad’s marine background. but one thing that really encouraged him to study was when jake told him the story before he became one with his avatar: how jake became paralyzed and how his life spiraled downhill when he was a human. through jake’s story, he vowed to protect his family by learning basic medical skills like cpr and learning the signs of shock.

lo’ak ⸰ֺ ࣭⭑𓄹

voice impressions is his humor. i feel like he would be into watching old movie films and pick up on character accents he likes so much. he even references movie scenes at times (neteyam doesn’t understand any of them, at all). lo’ak would even mock his family, replicating neteyam’s lecturing and tuk’s whining. the sully’s won’t admit it, but he’s pretty spot on with his impressions. the only person he’s really scared to impersonate is his father, being yelled at over a joke isn’t something he looks forward to (but jake secretly wants him to).

sneaks out, like all the time. when it comes to na’vi culture, everybody sticks together all the time— no privacy is left for anybody. being an outcast and all, lo’ak would venture alone into the forest and have some time for himself. he would either train by himself or just explore the forest to find new things to discover. lo’ak always comes back with cool stories so he tells his siblings about them (expect for tuk, he knows she’s a total snitch). neteyam and kiri discourage his independence because he might end up being in danger, so they sometimes secretly accompany him without lo’ak knowing.

has had a few crushes here and there within the omatikaya clan. since neteyam is a lot more popular, all the girls he had a crush on would infatuate over neteyam instead— so he’s very bitter about that. luckily, lo’ak could get over it pretty easily, he’s not always strung on someone especially when they don’t like him back. he’s mostly mad at neteyam for being a “lady magnet” (neteyam disagrees but he honestly feels a little honored to be called that).

as a teenager, lo’ak can be unfiltered with how he feels. so lo’ak has a foul mouth. whenever he’s injured, he throws in a fuck or two. when he’s frustrated, he’ll say shit or bitch. jake tells him to “watch his mouth” but it’s honestly his fault lo’ak curses like a sailor. neytiri highly discourages his bad language and tells him that a warrior’s last words shouldn’t be “demon language”. that really hit a nail for lo’ak, so he doesn’t curse as often.

takes a camera with him. lo’ak isn’t very awkward when it comes to taking photos and tends to keep photos of the scenery of pandora. he also secretly loves to keep memories of all the small moments with his family. in his section of his shared bedroom, lo’ak has a bunch of photos hung with all his favorite memories and the rest (mostly family photos because he’s shy) is kept in a box he leaves under his bed. he denies that he likes to do “mushy” stuff but obviously, he loves it.

play fights with kiri. growing up together, they always fought over the stupidest things. whether it be over a toy or when one sibling is annoying than the other. kiri and lo’ak are the closet with one another and why not settle your problems by throwing it down a bit. they would find a more secluded area in the forest so neteyam or their parents would not break them up. but neteyam always finds a way to locate them and tells them to stop before dad catches them. sometimes neteyam just sits around and keep tabs on who’s winning because he gave up playing the “responsible big brother.” lo’ak doesn’t hold back when it comes to kiri, he would pounce at her and wrestle her on the floor if he needed to.

I used to headcanon Luffy as asexual but the demi-sexual headcanon is growing on me. Only sexual with Zoro, though. Like- I ship Luffy with more people but imo he only feels sexually attracted to Zoro. Something something 'the bond between a captain and his first mate'. Romantic attraction: I can see him being demi-romantic (once again only romantic with Zoro. Or Sanji, even) but I personally see their relationship very Aroaspec QPR. Aromantic and Demi-sexual with a very deep bond with his first mate and his cook. Gender: Transmasc. Demi-boy. He/They. I think he, like, resonates more with being a boy but still doesn't fit the binary enough to be one. And transmasc because. Well. Have you seen him?

YASHIRO NENE—

being friends with nene means getting dragged into all of her supernatural adventures. if you're close enough to her, that is.

she, without a doubt, rants to you about her crushes and asks you for advice! she'll also complain about hanako to you, if you so happen to know about him.

she's super supportive. she's always cheering you on and encouraging you! and also, if you want advice or want to rant to her, she's completely open to that.

she rants to you, so you should be able to rant to her too. it's only fair. she does admit, though, that her advice might not be that good.

also i think nene would be physically affectionate. always hugging you, maybe giving you a lil kiss on the forehead if you're comfortable with that! hand-holding is also common with her.

she would be SO happy if you shared her interest in gardening or cooking! she'd love to have another friend to do those things with. if not, that's okay too! she doesn't want her friends to feel uncomfortable or forced to participate in any way.

she cares about you so so deeply and genuinely would be devastated if you ever got hurt because of her.

if you're a ghost, i don't think your dynamic would change much at all, actually. i think she would still treat you the same!

tell her she is pretty!!!! do not let her insecurities get to her!!!! reciprocate her supportive energy!!!!!

she might actually cry if a friend of hers were to support her so passionately.

HANAKO—

like nene, being close enough friends with hanako means you end up getting involved in things you probably shouldn't be involved in LMAO

i don't think he MEANS to get you involved, because he does worry about your safety, but it just sort of... happens. you end up involved regardless.

if you're human? he's sitting in your classes with you. he does it mainly for two reasons: one, because it reminds him of when he was alive, and it's strangely comforting. two, because he loves you and wants to annoy you <3

he's generally very clingy, and if you happen to be a ghost? ohohoho it's FAR worse.

he's always touching you in some way.

playing with your hair, fidgeting with your hands, hanging off of your shoulders... he's very touchy. poor thing is so touch starved.

personal space? he has no idea what that phrase means!

it doesn't come from a bad place. he just finds it grounding. reassuring.

hanako also generally won't come to you with his problems.

he's not keen on being an open book. if you've known him for long enough, he would absolutely be more open to being honest with you, but if you haven't known him long at all? yeah... he's not cracking. trying to forcefully pry him open wouldn't help either.

MINAMOTO KOU—

he will absolutely, without a doubt, make you cute little homecooked meals.

we all know he's the only one out of his sibling's who is both old enough to use a stove and competent enough not to burn the kitchen down, so of course he would spend time making you a lunch!

especially if he felt like you weren't eating enough or you needed something extra to get you through the day. he notices the little details like that.

he's an acts of service kind of guy. he does little things to show you that he cares.

btw. if you're close enough friends with him? tiara and teru will both know you by name. you'll become like another member of their family <3

(tiara would get so excited every time she gets to see you, practically bouncing on her heels.)

i like to think he's a lil protective!!!! he worries about your safety and worries that supernaturals might want to hurt you bc of his involvement with you :c

teru would smite them before they got the chance, though, so kou really doesn't have much to worry about.

My favorite thing about the "Azula is 100% a lesbian" crowd is that they love to write off everyone who doesn't ship Tyzula or doesn't see Azula as a lesbian as being "homophobic" or "nasty grown men who sexualize her".

A. Some of us (like me) are queer women also, who just happen to headcanon Azula as bisexual and prefer that people don't erase canon. Bisexuality EXISTS. There is no need to "disprove" her canon crush on a boy, she can like girls, too.

B. Sexualization doesn't magically stop when a character is gay like wtf even. Plenty of lesbians sexualize Azula and there's nothing wrong with that because SHE ISN'T REAL. And also not for nothing but some of the most vocal lesbian Azula stans are, in fact, the nasty ass grown men you speak of.

And for the record, yes people seriously ARE going after those of us who ship Azula with a man. Try posting Sokkla art on twitter and see what happens. Try actually talking to us instead of just raging about us supposedly being bigots from behind your keyboard. I've been told to kill myself multiple times, threatened with violence and genital mutilation, and told I need to be "culled" (among other things) and this is not a unique experience either.

This is also gonna be based on American colleges, because what little I do know is about them. I’m now seriously considering writing this, though, when I finish my mercenary AU. I dunno, maybe I will.

Rodolfo is pre-law on a scholarship through his high school and Alejandro is a business major on a sports scholarship

Alejandro very much is a frat boy, lets just accept it. Not a douchey one, though

Alejandro confesses the real reason that he started asking Rodolfo to tutor him was because he had a crush on him, that he was actually acing math, and he just never thought Rodolfo would hang out with him

Oh, I love Dramura so much! My headcanon about their first meeting is that it was an accident and a heavy misunderstanding.

Nomura was on a mission to assist a different changeling in getting a part of the Killahead bridge from the troll warrior living in seclusion. They defeated him together, but the fellow changeling decided to betray and backstab Nomura (as he had been trying to finish the mission for ages until her arrival and understood that Nomura had demonstrated her usefulness, unlike him).

Draal arrived during their fight, killing the other changeling and mistaking Nomura for the lone troll warrior apprentice or associate (Nomura got her khopeshes from that troll, and, apparently, those were passed from master to apprentice).

Draal had seen two trolls fighting and didn't even think it could be a sudden infighting between the allies. And Nomura just decided not to correct him. Firstly, because she wasn't interested in fighting him after having two fights already, and secondly, because it was the first time for her that someone came to help her in a dire situation.

Nomura back then was still more hopeful, and the idea of leaving the Janus Order was oh-so-tempting (not to mention that her impression from Peer Gynt was still fresh). When Draal took Nomura to the Trollmarket, she saw it as her chance and assumed the identity of someone else. She was sure she could pull playing the role of a regular troll as long as there were no gaggletacks in the close vicinity. And who would question her if Draal was the one who brought Nomura in?

For Draal it was an instant crush as he had never met someone as strong, sassy and determined. Besides, Nomura was the first one who never saw him as Kanjigar's son unlike everyone else at the Trollmarket. And she also never expected him to be like his dad or getting the amulet and become the Trollhunter. She was fine with Draal as he was.

As for Nomura, she was scared of her feelings at first (the Janus Order indoctrination left its ugly mark here). She was always uncomfortable at first, expecting some ulterior motive, but Draal with his straightforward personality made her feel at ease at last. She felt she could trust covering her back to Draal and would gladly cover his. The only regret Nomura had was not being able to tell the whole truth, but she hoped she could do it one day.

I believe that Kanjigar was really supportive of that relationship as Draal had seemingly let go of his trollhunter title obsession and seemed calmer and happier with Nomura around. I also like the idea of Kanjigar already starting to treat Nomura like his daughter.

I headcanon that the reveal happened because of Krax (remember the changeling who worked with Usurna?). He thought that everything was Nomura's scheme to get the amulet and that she might also expose him. So Krax first started spreading rumors and feeding Draal's doubts. It ended with Draal doing a gaggletack check.

Obviously, both felt betrayed after that. It only made it worse that Nomura fled before any explanation. So, Draal thought that everything had been just a lie, and Nomura was hurt because Draal didn't trust her enough (yes, she lied but she wanted to tell the truth herself when she was ready).

I feel Draal and Nomura had the so-much-needed talk after the return from the Darklands in Season 2 (and yes, I wish we had at least a glimpse of that).

As for what could be… Well, there is so much missed opportunity here. Dramura is so blatantly Romeo and Juliet coded (way more than Jlaire. Seriously). Besides, if Stricklake shows that humans can accept changelings, Dramura could possibly work to demonstrate that trolls would accept their estranged kin too. And Draal working hard to change other trolls' horrible opinion of 'impure' (starting with dropping that 'impure' part) would be really powerful, IMHO. It could also give him a role he so desperately needed - surpassing Kanjigar without being his shadow.

I also like the idea of Draal and Nomura having kids eventually, even though they both would claim they could only be horrible parents. They could make it work, besides, having a whelp between a troll and a changeling could easily make some inverse naysayers shut up.

I wanted to ask, when do you think Mike and Will started liking each other, when do you think they realised it, and how oblivious are they to each other's feelings? Also any opinions you have on Mike's sexuality and his feelings for El? I'm aro-spec ace and way too fixated on analysing the platonic/romantic nuances of relationships, and it would be so cool if you could break those down in Mlvn and Byler. Make the answer as long as you like, I could talk about Byler for hours! This blog is totally sweet!!! Oh, any Byler headcanons you have too, sorry for such a long ask, lmao.

Sorry, i haven’t been checking my inbox and completely missed this ask 😭

I think Will has had a crush on Mike pretty much since he can remember, but it’s around s3 that he starts to realise it, with everyone growing up and having to see Mike in a relationship. He represses it throughout the summer, and it’s in s4 that he’s consciously aware and accepts it. Will is still dealing with his own internalised homophobia though, and fully believes that Mike will never reciprocate, hence him giving away his feelings in the painting scene and essentially resigning himself to helping fix Mike and El’s relationship, since he wants them to be happy and thinks this is how that can be accomplished.

Mike is more complicated, but I do believe that he realised he was in love with Will/gay/bi/however you interpret it in the s3 finale. Just the flashing between his and Will’s faces as the van drives off, focusing on him looking back at the Byers house and hugging Karen, and also him looking like he’s having a *realisation* when El says she loves him (while kissing him in front of an open closet with “The First I love you” playing - the song which also plays when Robin comes out to Steve in the episode prior). He’s aware of it then, but I think he seriously represses it and also doesn’t think Will is gay. It’s cool to see him leaning back into his more nerdy interests and being influenced by Eddie to be more carefree in s4 though, since we see him start to shed the idea of being “normal” and conforming (which is a big theme for Karen and Nancy too. That damn Wheeler family 😭)

I’m still torn as to whether I see Mike as bi or gay. Pre-s4 i was firmly in the gay Mike Truther camp, but I can see them going either way and I think there is evidence to support either reading. S1-3 he comes off as possibly being bi, but s4 it seems like he’s been written as gay. Either way, i hope they do it justice, as it will recontextualise his actions and his relationship with El differently depending on what his sexuality actually is.

Regarding El, I do think that he and El have work to do if they want to have a proper friendship after they break up. I don’t think they’re immediately going to fall into being besties, since they don’t share a lot of interests, and we don’t actually see much of their dynamic as friends, since the romance overshadows it. Regardless, they care deeply for each other and I’d like to see them start to make up for lost time and form a friendship.

And finally for headcanons, we know Will gives art to Mike, so I imagine Mike also gives Will little stories and stuff he writes. After the stuff with Vecna is over, i love to think of them starting a comic series together, maybe taking inspiration from their own experiences with the UD and their friends. They’d probably go to the same college too, and would move to a city, but still live a relatively quiet life and maybe adopt a dog. I think Mike would also start to listen to some of Will’s music. We know he calls Should I Stay or Should I Go “that weird song” in s1 and if we take his playlist as canon he seems to personally prefer synth music to rock, but I think he’d probably listen to some of Will’s faves to feel closer to him. They’d both also love 90’s music, and we see that there’s a guitar in Mike’s room in s4 (probs Eddie’s influence) so maybe he’d try to play something for Will.

That’s all I can think of for now, but I hope this is fun to read and I answered everything well enough! Sorry for leaving it so late lol
