I got another fandom to brainrot over, so welcome to my Zelda-themed sideblog!

Seasons Come, Seasons Go

This is the start of my own Legend of Zelda/ Linked Universe story. It starts one year after the end of Minish Cap, and novelizes Four's journey through Four Swords and Four Swords Adventures before getting tossed through a portal to meet with eight other Links!

Zeffa

When Link was a child, he saved Hyrule from the evil Minish Vaati with the help of a very special friend.

Years later, he realizes that friend is a lot more special than he knew.

Zeffa is a little one-shot set in my Seasons!AU but after the Chain has already been traveling together for a while.

Snippets in the Wind

31 days, 31 prompts, 31 small looks into the lives of the Chain.

31 drabbles all set around LU. Also featuring Engie, my own spin on a Spirit Tracks Link joining the Chain. He has a whole series in the works on how he ends up with the chain.

Bakugou serves as a secondary alarm clock in the mornings.

He’s usually up an hour before you, freshly showered with coffee brewing when your first alarm goes off and you roll over with a groan to turn it off.

20 minutes later, he’s waking you up with gentle fingers through your hair, kneeling by your side of the bed and waiting for your eyes to flutter open to tell you to get up.

You whine when he leaves, missing his touch but it’s not long before sleep is reclaiming you.

The next time he stirs you, his teeth are freshly brushed and his hair mostly dry, and he’s far less gentle. His heavy form lands on your hips as he straddles you, leaning down to press firm kisses over your face and shoulders, his fingers pressing into your waist.

You mumble promises about getting up, and he relents, pressing one last kiss to your neck before he’s gone again, grumbling under his breath about how you’ll be the death of him.

The final time he comes in, you hear him coming, still in bed but not quite asleep. The blanket is thrown off you suddenly and then warm hands wrap around your ankles. A second later you’re being yanked down the bed, a surprised yelp escaping you as your eyes fly open.

He pulls you down far enough that your thighs cage in his thin waist, chuckling at your expression when you gape up at him. He looks perfect in his hero gear, mask hanging loosely around his neck and his gauntlets no doubt waiting by the door.

He bends in half to capture your mouth with his in a kiss that’s more than enough to wake you up, and then he’s pulling back, your feet hitting the floor as he takes you with him.

He gives you one last fleeting kiss that has you wanting more and chasing his mouth before he’s disentangling himself from you.

He takes in the pout on your face and chuckles, forehead pressed against yours as he quietly warns you he started your shower and you should get going before the hot water runs out.

And as a reward for keeping you on time in the morning, he makes sure to land a swift smack on your ass as you pass, laughing when you curse him and disappear into the bathroom, rubbing the handprint.

Is Cecilia the retroactive reason why Amanda riggs all of her traps to be unwinnable? She's so pissed that the one person who should have been safe was killed and her killer was then left alive. Like is Cecilia killing Gabriela the crux of why Amanda doesn't believe anyone is redeemable. I need to rewatch this whole series in order now.

I rag on Maes Hughes for being chill with genocide but to be *entirely* fair upon a reread, it's not like he's loving it, he's just not particularly haunted by it either. Roy rants about how this is a betrayal of how he joined the military to protect people (mistake number one, dude, seriously) and Maes calls him naive. His reason for fighting is to stay alive. While Roy talks about his dreams of a better future, Maes refers to letters from his girlfriend as his brighter future. He's willing to support Roy's ambitions because Roy's his friend, but he thinks they're childish.

The impression I get is that Hughes has decided he can tolerate atrocities as long as he stays alive and can go home to his loving family, so he leans into that loving family really hard. That's his reward. That's what makes it worth it. Which adds a layer to Envy killing him while disguised as his wife. You can't hold those things separate. If you're a collaborator propping up an awful regime, your family (and you) will still eventually become its victims. The rot at the heart of the nation is wearing your loved one's face.

#one could extrapolate here that his insistence on Roy getting a wife #is also going 'hey why don't you give up your grand ideals and just settle like I did'#don't think there's a super solid case for that but not necessarily AGAINST it either #kat reads fma #this post kind of sounds like I am defending Roy so let me be clear #I would like to Fight him #I just get annoyed bc I feel like Hughes is interpreted as this perfect guy #why this

Hi do you like images. I love images. Heres a little over 100 guilty gear trading cards from the early 2000s. Every character up to xx is accounted for… some more than others. For now. But the average is probably 4 or 5 cards per character. Nearly all of the art is original. Okay have fun :)
