You know the most Latino thing about me is not that I’m actually Latino, was born in PR and lived there for a good chunk of my life, nor the discrimination/microaggressions I’ve gone through since living in the US.
Nope it’s the fact that if given the chance, I will turn my meals into a bandejita 😩

summary: itty bitty smut blurb about Eddie dirty-talking in spanish for his latinx!gf. CW: gender neutral/no pronouns used, reader is described as having breasts; titty-worship, use of blindfold, oral sex-male receiving. The reader is latinx but it is not explicit as to where they're from, just that they speak spanish - Grisi shampoo is referenced though, which is a Mexican brand. Words: 800. *Translations for the Spanish phrases are at the end*
Tumblr media
When it’s dark, you can feel him better.
The way Eddie’s fingertips are callused, the nails are cut near to the cuticle to keep the grime away from working at the mechanic shop. Still, his touch is softest when he secures the blindfold around your head, brushing your hair away from the nape of your neck. His palms are so big that your tits fill them perfectly, as he squeezes and fondles with reverence, as the chapped skin around his thumbs graze the pillowy skin of your nipples. His whole hand nearly covers your entire neck as he caresses you from behind; one hand teasing your throat, the other mapping the curves of your stomach and hips.
When your sight is missing, you can smell him better.
Smell the fresh note of chamomile from the Grisi shampoo you received on the latest care package your family sent you; Eddie got a liking for it when he visited your country. It makes his curls appear golden under the sunlight, as soft as silk to the touch. That scent mixes with that of nicotine on his breath, and the beachy smell of sunscreen absorbed on his skin after a day out at the lake. Underneath that, his earthy musk, as he rests his chin on your shoulder, nuzzling his nose against your neck.
Without your vision, the way he tastes you melts you faster against his embrace.
His long tongue laps at your neck before he captures your earlobe with his teeth, flicking the lobe tenderly before sucking it into his mouth. Makes you sigh brokenly, tilting your neck to one side to expose more of yourself to him.
Your neves are already alight, your skin is covered in goosebumps.
And that’s until you hear him.
A jolt of arousal shoots through your very core as he says, “tus pechos son increíbles…” while he squeezes your tits again.
“Eddie!” you moan with arousal but also with a fuzzy sensation of love, as you bite your lip hard and try to follow his movements by blindly lolling your head from side to side.
He said he had a surprise for you, but you figured it was the blindfold when he pulled it from his nightstand. You had no idea he had been practicing his Spanish…at least not with phrases like this.
“Y-yeah? You like them?” you whisper breathlessly while gulping down and arching back against him, wanting more.
“Sí, son preciosos…”  His breath in your ear hits like lightning, his words bring out a thundering arousal flooding your senses. You can only giggle and blush, feeling elated, and cherished, to know your boyfriend would do this for you.
You yelp with surprise when he tilts you back in his arms, getting you to lay on your back among the pillows as he gets on top of you. The light fuzz of stubble on his chin tickles you deliciously as he kisses your tits, gathering them in his hands to push them upwards, before his tongue flicks and sucks on a nipple.
“Tienen el tamaño perfecto para mi…” he says, and your thighs squeeze together on instinct.
“Para besarlos, y tocarlos…” his touch is incredible, but it’s his words that are making you feel like Icarus flying too close to the sun.
“...para lamerlos…”
“Fuck, Eddie…” you whimper, biting your lip to keep from moaning so much. You’re trembling so hard, feverish with need.
“...para morderlos…” His teeth dig into your nipple, pulling at it softly before releasing it with a slick noise, right before he licks and nibbles on your breasts, taking his sweet time to not leave any inch of skin untouched.
“Quiero lamerte y morderte duro…” He mumbles as he buries his face between your tits, kissing his way upwards.
“Oh my god, Eddie…” you bite your lip hard, quivering and writhing on the bed - and then whimper when the warmth of his tongue is gone for a moment.
You try to sense where he went, try to pierce through the blindfold with your gaze even if it’s a silly notion, until –
– “Voy a morder todo tu cuerpo así…” he growls right into your ear making you moan louder, the lewd noise coming straight from your guts; white-hot flames of arousal dance beneath your covered eyes.
Because in this darkness, the heat feels like it’s blazing right through you.
You feel every droplet of Eddie’s sweat falling on your pebbled skin as he goes down your body, biting and licking away in between murmurs in your language that add more fuel to the fire.
By smell alone you can tell that he’s taken off his boxers, sitting on his heels beside your head, and taking your jaw in his palm, guiding you to him
“Que rico, mi amor…” you retaliate and grin eagerly when he shivers at your words just like you did earlier for him, as you take his cock in your mouth and relish in the way you can truly focus on the way he feels without your eyesight. Heavy and warm as the engorged veins of his length pulse and throb.
He whimpers as you murmur sweet nothings in spanish between ragged breaths and gurgling noises, making your heart race as you think – you never knew words could carry such fire within them.
Tumblr media
SPANISH DIALOGUE
"Your tits are incredible"
"Yes, they're precious"
"They are the perfect size for me"
"To kiss them, and touch them..."
"...to lick them..."
"...to bite them..."
"I want to lick you and bite you hard"
"I'm gonna bite all your body like this..."
"So good, my love..."

Does anyone have any favorite internet resources on food forest movement stuff? Academic stuff is one thing, but I'm trying to find things that are keyed to the pulse of what people are talking about outside of academia. I know a lot of that gets circulated here in the general solarpunk vibes zone.
part of my frustration that i'm trying to pinpoint here with concrete sources is that there's a middle ground here that has to be found between oblivious optimistic radicalism and like, the actual work it takes to *run* a food forest. I just read Make the Golf Course A Public Sex Forest and some of it is good, some of it is just "wow you have never actually gardened before, have you?"
The resistance organizations like park districts and forest services have to these well-intentioned, poorly-researched efforts stems a lot from the very practical logistics.
Yes, wouldn't it be great if you could eat wild berries from your local park. How the hell are we going to remediate all the lead out of the soil so those berries are safe? Yes, wouldn't it be cool to turn parts of golf courses into community gardens. How the hell are we going to remediate the decades of literal mercury application out of the soil? Those lawns weren't pest-free by default! Yes, wouldn't it be amazing to have a orchards in the city parks? Who is going to do the INTENSE work managing those trees? Picking all the apples? Dealing with the wasps and the mess coating the sidewalks?
There's so much good work that can be done but making the connections between the dreamers and the actual do-ers is overwhelming. Not least because many dreamers just love to talk and don't want to do. Meanwhile, the do-ers are terrified of getting their asses sued because some well-intentioned foragers are ingesting heavy metals.

Just wanted to say I appreciate your take on the whole white man/woc imbalanced power plot issue. This is something that I had a big problem with in season 4 and others definitely seemed to pick up on the same when all the storylines were Wesley, Nolan or Tim centric, and Nyla, Angela and Lucy were seemingly left as the 'other'. However I feel like I saw the issue be forgotten in the fandom a little. It seems this show has consistently favoured highlighting the male struggle and treating female storylines as trivial and unworthy, other than that of Bailey, the then newly introduced and now main cast white female character. I thought this would change with Lucy's story now being written consistently in s6 but it's clear that Tim's potentially the more favourable storyline. Now I can't speak from a psychological standpoint on what Tim did to Lucy but from a plot pov it's definitely making the white man vs woc power issue glaringly obvious. He is the one that gets to start or end their relationship. He's the white man with issues that is allowed to feel what he wants and grow his character while the asian woman is left behind despite her own depth and trauma. Let's hope that Lucy is given the same grace of dealing with her issues and growing as Tim, and Lucy gets her power back.
Hi Anon!
Thank you for your kind and thoughtful message. And thanks for patiently waiting for my response. I agree with everything you said. I believe the post you’re referring to is this one and possibly this one too.
It’s clear that the show has favored male storylines, particularly those of Wesley, Nolan, and Tim (and Bailey a non-WOC), while sidelining WOC ones. And even though the focus here is on Lucy and Chenford, I’m equally happy and willing to talk about race through the POVs of Angela/Wopez and Nyla/Jayla too.
I don’t think the actual act of Tim breaking up with Lucy has a racial dynamic to it other than the obvious. Them being of different races is just who they are. But their overall relationship (TO/Rookie, mentor/mentee, sergeant/gofer, friends, couple, etc.) does. And Melissa, bless her heart (affectionate), codes so heavily as Chinese in her mannerisms too and this gets projected onto Lucy. But that’s not talked about very often either. I say all of this to agree with you, Anon, because the “white man vs woc power issue” as you described has existed the whole time.
Let’s look at S5b and S6. A WOC masterminded the career progressions of at least two middle aged white men. One of them derailed her career progression. The other one broke up with her. Both broke her heart in very different ways. We did get some of Lucy’s character development and growth in S6 on the front end of the season. But even within that, her storyline has been about the 5 player trade (made to benefit Tim primarily) and Tim not being comfortable with her in UC. Tim gets demoted but he has a cushion to fall on because Lucy trampolined him into the Metro clouds and now the show’s able to use what Lucy did to benefit Tim again and use that to give him room to fall back on. This is part of the whole ‘using a WOC as a plot device to further a white man’s story’ which I’ve shared about in regards to the breakup (which is different than the act of breaking up) and you've detailed out too. We’ll see what happens to her story in the next few episodes, and I too hope that Lucy is given the same grace and that she does get her power back. But no matter what happens in future episodes, that trope was used so the genie’s already out of the bottle.
You did bring up the fandom, so I am going to talk about it a little more. This next part may be hard to hear, Anon, but … I have received negativity from Chenford fans for talking about Lucy and Melissa O’Neil’s race. This shows me that this topic is so worth talking about because there are people who feel a certain way about seeing race-related discussions about Lucy (they don’t want to be anywhere near it) and I do believe it’s unhealthy for the fandom to have these beliefs about a WOC. Others in the fandom have also encountered negativity and pushback when discussing this topic. Maybe it's even happened to you. People have shared their fandom experiences with me privately, but you’re the first to do it Anonymously which is great because that means you’ve given me the opportunity to respond to you publicly.
Challenging this negatively held belief within our fandom and embracing Lucy/Mel’s racial and cultural identity is a worthy endeavor so let’s move the dial on that. It starts with talking about these topics in the context of The Rookieverse and keeping an open mind if these topics are unfamiliar to us. I mean, Mel wants more of that too.
Thanks again, Anon!

Fuck it Friday
Thanks for the tag @spotsandsocks 🥰🥰🥰
How about a progress update on my rwrb hands paintings?? I’ve spent the day working on the first of the three paintings and it’s getting there! I still have to finish Alex’s lower hand and wrist as well as Henry’s ring and the sleeves and fine line detail for both of them, but I’m feeling pretty good about where I’m at with this painting!!!
Before - when it was just base colour and basilica shading markings;
Tumblr media
And where I’m at currently;
Tumblr media
Like I said - still very much a wip, but considering hands are sooooooo hard to paint I’m feeling pretty positive with where I’m at on this painting!!
Tagging anyone who has something they’d like to share I always love seeing what others are up to! 😎😎😎

Writing a Latine character
Here’s a little PSA for people who would like to write a Latine/ Latinx/ Latina/ Latino character in their stories and want to be a decent writer.
The great thing about writing is that you can make whatever you want, come to life. You can create characters and plot points and twists and all that good stuff.
You can also chose to not be a fucking racist piece of shit.
Recently there was a book written by a white woman called Drive which involved a lot of racist tropes, jokes, and stereotypes that deal with a Mexican girl. I feel like this should be talked about.
The writer issued a bullshit apology on IG but she turned off the comments so here the fuck we are. The examples listed are from said book as well.
If you don’t know how to write ethnicities that are not your own make sure you  get a sensitivity reader to help you, or just don’t write them. However, this author had a “Mexican friend” who informed the general public that the author had lost her v*iginity to a person with a Hispanic sounding last name... yeah idk. And that she had lots of Hispanic people on her team because she is color blind, but “not in a bad way”. So idk get someone that doesn’t know you and is confined to a very racist state, again she’s from TEXAS.
However if you would like to make your list of characters more diverse without being a racist these are somethings you can avoid doing.
Don’t add r*cist jokes (that should go without saying, but here the fuck we are). Or unnecessary race jokes even if they are being said by your Latine characters. You aren’t us, so leave these things out of your writing.
For example:
Immigration jokes, specifically border patrol jokes. (Below is a screen shot from the book I mentioned)
Tumblr media
Internalized racism “She doesn’t speak Spanish because she thinks she sounds stupid. She hasn’t used the lounge enough, and she doesn’t like being half a b*aner.” (This was written by a White Texan woman in 2017. I wonder what was happening at the time that made a lot of Mexican and Latine people the target of xenophobia and racism).
Inquisition jokes: “’No, it’s the Latina Inquisition,’ he said with a twist of his lips.”
Colonization jokes
Fetishization “’There’s the cocky little Latina I know and love,’”
Tropes
The spicy latine (angry/ loud/ jealous):“’You’re so rough around the edges, my little Latina.” And “’Yeah, well, you were getting a little fucking feisty back there, Stella.’ I laughed. ‘You don’t like it when I show my Latina.” WHAT THE FUCK!!!
The maid
The self hating brown girl: “And every dark girl want to know what it’s like to be a light girl at some point in their life.”
The dancer: “’Come on, woman, you’re half Mexican. You were born with rhythm.’” “’I’m Latina,’” I corrected “’And I have rhythm. Shut up.’”
Certain mentions of one’s ethnicity where there shouldn’t be
“’GO!’” I screamed at the top of my Latina lungs...” (Ah yes to show that she thought we are very loud.)
“‘How about you kiss my Latina ass.’“
“Paige, I’m fine,’ I said, trying to keep the angry, tequila-filled Latina at bay.’“ (Because we are always pissed off and prideful)
DON’T USE SLURS, even if you have heard people use them with each other, You aren’t us so stop. If you don’t know if a word you are using is a slur, look it up, thankfully Google is free, or don’t use that word you are unsure of. No one should have to remind you not to be a piece of shit.
Avoid racist situations towards your characters in your books especially if you are writing in a fantasy setting. Most readers like to escape to a different reality, why the fuck are you making them take these things with them as they read your book.
Just because you saw some racist shit go down from one Latine to another, DON’T WRITE IT IN! FFS
If you are a latinx/e person who has experienced these things and your main character is also Latinx/e that is fine because it deals with YOUR experiences, everyone else stfu.
And if any of you feel some kind of way about this post, figure out why and change that shit because what the fuck?
- Sincerely a Mexican- American woman that shouldn’t need to be writing this.

Some Wayne Munson hcs about Steddie relationship
ft. Genderfluid Mexican Eddie - Everyones lives ofc
We all know Wayne loves Eddie as his child since they appeared on the door of his trailer. Eddie was always welcomed and accepted without matter if they were gay, or he, or she, or anything they were. In the end, they were Eddie Munson, his nephew. The kid who talked in Spanish the first months just to make it hard for Wayne and got surprised when he replied in their language. Maybe that cheap dictionary and the help of his coworkers helped a little. He still had to learn one or two things with this new kid.
But still, he accepts them & tries his best to support them in many things. Wanna play guitar until 2 am? fine, just not that loud for the neighbors to come angry. There's a comic you can't find here? let me find it in Indy on the next trip. Wanna be called she/them? I will do it without a problem. Want to cook some Mexican dishes because suddenly you crave them at 4 am? Ammm... Yeah but remember I can't eat that much cheese, kid.
For Wayne is completely normal Eddie would come one day with a big smile and red cheeks and he will be happy to ask what's going on. Because Wayne knows Eddie deserves the best, he deserves a man that makes him happy & lets him be himself. At least he deserves his first romance even if it is in a little town. So he is happy when Eddie gets all shy & Wayne jokes around about him finding his Ozzy. Eddie laughs.
Because he did find someone as metal as Ozzy but not in the way Wayne thought about. And his face changed when he heard the name. STEVE HARRINGTON?
Doesn't help either that at the time Eddie disappeared and finished in the hospital all fucked up, Steve Harrington was around. Wayne does remember those days, being in the hospital, and how these kids and new friends would visit Eddie. It wasn't weird for Eddie to take younger weirdos, freaks, and outcasts under his wing, but for sure Steve Harrington didn’t fit that. He was in the hospital too, and at the moment he could leave… he still came back to visit and help Eddie. But Wayne kept alert.
Steve can see how dry Wayne talks with him or how he change his tone and expression when is around the hospital room. He is always "Steve Harrington" with a big emphasis on HARRINGTON. The rich s.o.b guy lives in the fancy zone and didn’t care about the other people in the town. For sure not people like the Munson. So he thinks is weird when Steve offers his help to take care of Eddie while he is at work, how he hears the nurses talking sweet words on how thoughtful he is to help them clean Eddie’s wounds and body. Doesn’t help either that part of the town still hates them, and Steve is openly there with them without matter.
Wayne frowns and decides not to accept Steve’s pity or whatever he is doing, but he can’t help to rethink when he arrives with groceries, because he knows Wayne has no time between the hospital, the legal issues, and his job. Also, the last time he went to the store, it was uncomfortable to have eyes and gossip around. He can’t help to just call him ‘Steve’ from time to time when he helps around the new trailer, the hospital drives, and how much he cares about Eddie.
And even more when he is always around to help a weak Eddie that woke up from a coma. Steve would come with groceries, help clean and cook around, almost making himself part of the family of two, just being out when he needed to take care of the other kids and his new job. Wayne frowns at him from time to time and still talks with Eddie about being careful because the Harringtons aren’t that great.
But that day that Eddie arrives all red and on the clouds, he has to reassure him, Steve is a good guy and maybe there's something between them. And yes there's something between them that gets formal weeks later. And Steve tries his best. Always polite, always sure not to cross lines with a joke or even just wait in the car for Eddie. But little by little he wins Wayne's respect and Eddie helps with it.
Eddie talks out loud about their dates with Steve when eating dinner with Wayne. Eddie tells him how Steve drives the kids and Robin around. How he helps them with projects and school, and how he cares about Max as a big brother. How he and Dustin are always messing around as if they were brothers too. Wayne can’t ignore how Eddie’s face glows when he talks about Steve, in the same way as they talk about music, their books, and about those D&D campaigns. And like the last one, he can’t understand but he knows that makes them happy. And, honestly, if Eddie is happy, what else fucking matters?
Wayne realizes this Eddie with more friends and a boyfriend is one of the best versions of themselves. One version he wants to keep watching, growing, and being better. Who knows if this relationship with Steve will keep going for years or will be for some months, at least Eddie is happy and full of energy, being their real self.
That’s why that winter weekend when Steve is waiting in the car, Wayne opens the door of the trailer to go and knock on the window.
“Oh, sorry, sir? Should I move?” Steve asks and Wayne laughs because his face is full of fear of fucking up something.
“Sir? I’m not that old, kiddo.” Wayne opens the door. “Listen, Mister Edward there is taking their sweet time so, wanna come in for a hot cup of coffee?”
He would love to laugh at Steve’s expression, how he almost hits himself because of the nervous feeling of being invited inside by Wayne.
“Of course, sir…”
“Sir again? I will let you out in the cold if you call me sir again.” he laughs, opening the door. “How do you take your coffee, Steve?”
If this guy makes Eddie happy, he for sure deserves the respect he has winning little by little, showing that he isn’t Steve Harrington. He is just Steve, and that makes the young man smile widely, hearing a different tone and a homely invitation to sit on the sofa.
And yeah, maybe later on he would be called son. But for now, that’s a win.
