why is it so hard to find actually good t shirt designs, especially merch t shirts

#t shirts bought online are generally good for my sensory issues. so that's my preferred clothing #but it's so hard?? to find shirts with good designs?? #like ok. there are good ones #but imo here's what makes a good shirt design: simple. not an injoke/reference #literally what i want is just like. a shirt with the game logo on it #SO hard to find those for some reason #the purpose of the tshirt is 1. comfy and 2. signal to other people that i like the thing #without being weird to people who dont know the thing #just the logo or a symbol or object from the thing are excellent #complex artworks are good sometimes but then i have to also like the art style and stuff #this is why the homestuck aspect hoodies were so good #its Flat Colour With Neat Symbol #i also need to buy a hoodie bc my space hoodie ive been wearing since like 2012 is now worn out enough i shouldnt wear it in public anymore #:'( #ive tried buying from like redbubble and threadless but the designs wear off really fast

my friend and i were talking about how strange it is to see young actors hit puberty in between filming and release so i passionately explained to her about how i am 99% sure that during a scene in good omens s1 where adam and brian were discussing the intricacies of atlantis people surviving with diving helmets on had adam's actor voice dubbed in "that's right" because of how 1) the camera is still on brian and we do not pan over to adam speaking the actual line and 2) adam's actor's voice sounds fairly deeper on that line compared to his voice in the rest of the season and my friend just responds with:

"i think you should put that on the adhd application"

I enjoy that he is very flawed and volatile. #This episode of the audio drama has a lot of great breakdown scenes featuring JC - and they all deserve a feature. #But underlying this comic is a small meta comment of 'ah man I have too many comics of JC just wailing sadly' #My goal is to draw 6-8 comics per episode - I sometimes have to truncate and cut good scenes out. #Especially when a large majority is just different flavours of trauma and toxic relationships to your self-worth. #I would also like to make a note here that just because you lose the ability to do something that is very tied to your core identity- #-does not mean your life is over. It will feel like the end of the world. It will send you into a spiral of grief.
