What if early on in the arc where Clyde and Alex are on the run, Alex is panicking like “we need to get out of here” and Clyde just goes through the thought process of “need to go fast, what goes fast? Cars, we need a car” and then at some point Clyde and Alex get separated and when they meet again Clyde has stolen a cop car or something? And because Clyde was the one who took it, technically Alex was still innocent? Idk just a random thought I had

So in Bad, Bad Rubber Piggy we clearly see what appears to be a genuine Sasquatch baby that Dib hassles in one scene, and it speaks English. In the first episode Dib says he saw Bigfoot in his garage using the belt sander and later in another episode says "He wouldn't fucking say that" while reading a magazine claiming to have interviewed Bigfoot. In another, a kid claims Dib insisted his father was a yeti.
Assuming that Dib's accounts of the paranormal are generally reliable, as I do, I've come up with a few theories:
Bigfoot is real and Dib has actually spoken to him. That's how he knows that the magazine interview was bogus.
Either his classmate does in fact have a yeti for a father, or the kid once mistook a yeti for his father and wouldn't listen when Dib tried to tell him "That's not your dad, that's clearly a yeti wearing your dad's clothes so he can sneak into your house and raid your fridge". I consider both to be equally possible, given that Zim and Dib go to class with an Old Kid and a Pig Boy and the premise hinges on everyone being too stupid to see through Zim's obvious disguise. Based on the fact that the yeti is able to pass for human, Bigfoot is implied to be able to speak, and the Sasquatch baby from BBRP does speak, I would propose that the yeti also has the ability to speak.
So we have two presumed adult cryptids of a similar type and one baby, all of whom have the ability to speak, implied human-level intellect, and all of them have been spotted in the same skool district Dib lives in. So, what if they're all related? What if Bigfoot and the yeti are married and the parents of the Sasquatch baby? Even better, if my first theory about the yeti actually being Dib's classmate's father and not an imposter is correct, then he is also their child and the brother of Sasquatch baby. Furthermore, since the yeti is said to be the kid's father and Bigfoot is referred to with he/him pronouns they're a same-sex couple.

I feel like any theories about what happened to Lucy Gray kinda ruins the intentional mystery of her. But tbh. The idea of her just being some weird old lady in 12 is hilarious to me. Nobody believes her about anything she says.
“Y’know I was the 10th winner of the games” “okay miss Lucy”

Desperately need more of Vash being Gunsmoke's local cryptid. The planet may not have the Internet, but by god they have reporters and radio, so that should still count for something. C'mon, if the fucked up little cult of the Eye of Michael can have their own broadcast station and run a goddamned orphanage, so can Cryptid Radio. (Bonus points: They do something special every Saturday. Its Stampede Saturday, y'all.)
There's a newspaper that collects sightings of Vash, takes in letters and personal accounts of him and stuff. And/or a radio show that takes in callers and does on-air interviews.
They range from, "He came to my town, and it was completely wrecked within two days! The man is the Devil Himself" to "Yeah, he was actually a really nice dude. Total pushover, tho. When I was little, me and the other local kids used to play with him. He'd let us boss him around and put him in headlocks, treat him as our lackey until the Captain decided he could be in our little gang. Not like an actual gang, mind you- we were annoying kids, and I'll admit we did some stupid shit, but never anything really BAD. He bought everyone ice cream one time. It was nice. He was a nice man. I hope he's still doing alright, out there."
That and like. Heartwarming stories from people Vash has helped, either before the inevitable bounty hunter bullshit caught up with Vash and hurt the people and whatever place Vash was in, or maybe even afterward, where they don't blame Vash for what happened. I kinda would love to see a group of determined mothers (and grandmothers) writing to whoever is in charge of bounties, trying to get Vash's bounty taken down, because, "The only reason that sweet young man drags trouble with him where ever he goes is because of there's always bounty hunters after that damn bounty! If you took it down, there'd be a lot less property damage following that man, I can tell you that!"
Of course, there's always what happened in July City to take into account, so that complicates things... Still, I like the idea of people sharing stories about Vash that don't line up with the usual bullshit. It'd be nice to see.

"Here, take this. It will help."
Did Olivier expect to find a child wandering around the side of Mount. Briggs? No!
Did Olivier expect this child to have alkahestry-infused candies and save her life with them? Also no!
Did she expect to find herself pseudo-adopting/technically kidnapping this kid and raising him? Definitely not!
But here she was anyways.

I love how my great-great-great-great-grandfather, who got medals from Tsar Nikolai I because he won against the Britts and stole a boat from them in the Crimean War, has his Wikipedia article under the category "Finnish farmers".

9 and 10 for rad
(for this ask game)
9. What does your iterator think of their body? One organism with many moving parts? A giant computer? A small creature stuck in a box? etc.
A home, now left empty. A product of love living past those who loved it. A monument to the care that used to be there. Somewhere dearly cared for, that is now painfully, achingly lonely. Rad's can has been breaking down since they were constructed, and though it was a home to all the ancients that inhabited them, now it is more akin to a gravesite, slowly crumbling into the swamp they were built on. Nearly every piece of them was replaced at least once by the time Mass Ascension happened, and they consider every piece to still carry the hands of those who installed it - a single remaining splinter of those that used to be their citizens, left behind after mass ascension.
They consider their entire can and the many organisms that make it work to be parts of one body, but they have somewhat unconventional views on the specifics of that. They would have considered their citizens to be part of them as well, when they were still there.
10. If your iterator could be anything else other than an iterator, what would they be and why?
...honestly, we don't think that Rad would want to be anything but an iterator? Sure, they're slowly collapsing into the swamp, but if they were anything else then they wouldn't have been able to host the people that they used to. They wouldn't be able to form the same relationships with those who once worked on them, or watch people strew their halls with decorations for some insignificant occasion or another, or act as the same sort of assistance for their citizens' many, many repairs on them. A smaller, shorter-lived body of flesh could not have half the history, nor could it have had half the experiences. That said...
If they absolutely had to choose, post-mass-ascension, they would likely choose to become an Ancient themself. Take up the mantle of repairing their body, of archiving the many, many documents still left on them, of using the freedom of hands that can affect more than just their chamber to finish the work of those they used to host, and ensure it goes on for just a while longer, after their body crumbles to the ground. It wouldn't be a state of being that would last forever, of course, but nothing about them has ever been in the ballpark of lasting forever. They would just want... to finish things, in a sense. Or at least, to give their old citizens' work a bit more chance of surviving,

Okay we always have Danny being a cryptid in Gotham...
But what if we have eldritch Danny being a cryptid in Metropolis? And everyone in Metropolis is normal about it, it's the out of towners who have trouble with their "little" jellyfish/dragon/bird/skeleton cryptid, that the locals have named Moon-Moon caue sometimes the darling means well..
But well Moon-Moon is a bit of an idiotic genius.
And when I say everyone in Metropolis is normal about their local Cryptid, I'm including the Super Family. Cause that adds and even more hilarious edge to it.

The Family!

All on a 3am snack run, about to terrorize some idiots. Or the local vigilantes if its a crossover. Could they hypothetically go shopping at any time in any dimension? Yes. Do they accidentally became 3am cryptids? .... Perhaps...
From left to right: Ellie (16, Moon Core) Algor/Tiny Ghost (4, Light Core) Draco/Perfect Clone (1, Ice Core) Jordan (13, Sun Core) Rigel/Monster Ghost (6, Earth Core) Orion/Bedsheet Ghost (9, Shadow Core)

So i originally had this idea when i reblogged this post by @saphushia but i wanna just seperate it out as its own little prompt.
A quick context is that Danny seems to be roaming around Gotham like some homeless cryptid, kinda Bus to Nowhere style but with more vigilante interaction and casual offerings of first aid. And the batkids are keeping their adoption bait First Aid Cryptid(tm) secret from Batman.
One set of tags in the reblogs from @little-pondhead caught my attention
Tumblr media
I came up with both funny answers and an angsty answer for that "#why?" but here's the angsty one (though i promice i actually envision it to be more hurt/comfort with a lot of family fluff)
Actual Prompt⬇️⬇️
Something happens, maybe a reveal gone wrong, maybe he got capture by the GIW, maybe he lost Jazz and his parents somehow.
Whatever it is, it leaves Danny with a need to escaped to a new dimension which just so happens to end up being the DCU. He winds up in Gotham and is just trying to start over, easier said than done but at there's plenty of heros around so he doesn't need to go ghost and he can still patch up the local vigilantes to feed his obsession. He's just not up to being Phantom yet and he's still recovering from whatever happened in Amity, whether it be mentally or physically.
Plus these vigilantes are kinda fun to mess with. Danny can practically see the gears turning as they try to put together and make sense of his little "lore drops", that Red Robin almost reminds him of Wes in a way.
Its not like he really needs to hide anyways. There's no GIW here, no Anti-Ecto Acts, if it really comes down to it he could probably pass as meta and fall under those protection laws. Judging by Signal, Danny's pretty sure Batman's bluffing on the whole "hating metas" thing anyways.
It takes awhile before Danny actually does meet the big bat himself and the reaction he gets is nothing anyone was expecting.
You see theres one little detail danny couldn't have been warned about, and its that there just so happens to be a version of Jazz here.
Except this Jazz lost her Danny when they were in high school, as in full on dead and gone Danny, no halfas here, the portal simply did not work and it was just regular ole lethal electrocution that hit her little brother.
What if she grew up with a young Bruce somehow, whether it be because CPS took her from the Fentons after her Danny's death or Amity Park simply doesn't exist in the DCU making Gotham the city with the thinnest veil and thus where the Fenton's chose to settle down.
This Jazz is an adult in her 40s but was once a kid smart enough to go to Gotham Academy on scholarship (or maybe the Fenton's had enough money from patents?). A kid who took one look at young Bruce's grumpy little face and decided he needed a honest friend, one that wasn't after status or money.
This Jazz grew up being a secondary voice of reason for Bruce, ganging up with Alfred in their own crusade to enforce healthy habits on him in between their weekly tea sessions.
This Jazz lost her brother and could not only understand Bruce's resoning on a minor level but encouraged his planned "journey of self discovery and healing". (Though the bat costume he made when he came back was unexpected and she gave him a look to rival Alfred for it)
This Jazz grew up to be a social worker because if anyone had cared enough to take her away from the Fenton's sooner then her brother might've still been alive
This Jazz being the one Bruce calls when he first gets Dick because holy shit he has no idea what hes doing and "Jazz, i just became a father, help!"
This Jazz being a sort of aunt to all the Batkids and is a major influence that has led to their dynamics being similar to Wayne Family Adventures
Bruce goes pale and later calls Jazz after he finally gets a glimps/meets the so called "First Aid Cryptid" his kids have been obsessed with. Because this kid that he's looking at with the barely visible lichtenberg scars... that's a face he hasn't seen in little over 20 years, that's his old friend's long dead baby brother.
Bruce sees danny and his mind rapidly jumps to all sorts of possibilities. Is this a clone? Is this a trap? Are the Lazarus pits involved somehow? Time travel? He does consider a ghost but this kid is too solid and they're nowhere near the old dilapidated Fenton Works building
Eventually, down the line when they get the full story of Danny being from an alternate dimension, Jazz might try to adopt him. Which has potential to be unhealthy but i fully believe Jazz would be aware enough not to project her decades old grief on this Danny, who is so similar but so different to her brother.
(Because I think a Gotham raised Danny would've been similar to a young Jason in street smarts so this Amity raised Danny is noticeably different)
Danny on the other hand... not sure if i could say the same, especially if he just lost his Jazz before winding up in the DCU. But again, this is an adult Jazz in her late 40s with professional experience dealing with traumatized kids, and she'll do her best to help him through it
Im imagining Jazz and Bruce to have a more platonic friendship, maybe even see each other as family, but you could go with Parent Syndrome if you want
(And because i love to see other peoples ideas and opinions, @omnicrafts @ailithnight @atiyasnake @hdgnj @nelkcats @nerdpoe @im-totally-not-an-alien-2 @dcxdpdabbles. Sorry i tag you guys so much but i like your writing, im eager to offer ideas, and your posts have been major sources of joy while ive been hyperfixating on DPxDC)

Accidentally ending up at the border
If you want emotional hurt/comfort...
Late-night campfire talks
Leaving someone behind at a stop
Someone breaking off from the party
Vacation fatigue
Someone/something getting lost
Bringing work on the trip
If you want mystery and heroics...

Facing the North American wilderness
Encountering lesser-known urban legends
