Okay but does anyone else feel incredibly uncomfortable with the yj cartoon’s SuperMartian? Because as far as I can tell it’s an incredibly unhealthy relationship between someone who has over 30 years of life experience and someone with only a few months? And she very much molded him into her ideal boyfriend and legit tried to use her telepathy to manipulate him?

Anyway I’m thinking about Kon a lot and I’ve been reading the Superboy comics with Tana and Knockout and it’s just… what is it about Superboy that makes writers say “oh! Let’s make this teenager with no life experience romantically/sexually involved with this manipulative female who has many many years on him!”? Seriously it’s weird and it’s not addressed properly ever.

And it could’ve been a really interesting story for the yj cartoon. Because on the surface they’re both teenagers just staring their lives on Earth. So it’s easy to miss the underlying issues that M’gann is a Martian who ages slower and has actually existed for over 30 years and Conner is a clone grown in like 16 months. And M’gann is still a kid, for her species. They wouldn’t have even needed to make her the villain. She’s just a kid who’s been through some rough stuff who is trying to build a stable life for herself. But instead it’s now to a point where is can’t be written off as a teen who didn’t understand what she was doing. She’s a counselor now! She has to realize that she basically groomed Conner. And it looks like it’s never going to be addressed.

Once again Kon is in a toxic relationship and no one is seeing anything wrong with it!

Phobos: Moon over Mars

Explanation: A tiny moon with a scary name, Phobos emerges from behind the Red Planet in this timelapse sequence from the Earth-orbiting Hubble Space Telescope. Over 22 minutes the 13 separate exposures were captured near the 2016 closest approach of Mars to planet Earth. Martians have to look to the west to watch Phobos rise, though. The small moon is closer to its parent planet than any other moon in the Solar System, about 3,700 miles (6,000 kilometers) above the Martian surface. It completes one orbit in just 7 hours and 39 minutes. That's faster than a Mars rotation, which corresponds to about 24 hours and 40 minutes. So on Mars, Phobos can be seen to rise above the western horizon 3 times a day. Still, Phobos is doomed.

On attracting easily jealousy and hate from others and how to make your life less unbearable - astro edition ✨

If you're feeling (and have often experienced in your life) like others (even friends, partners) become jealous of you quite easily, you may have :

- 7H, 8H, 12H personal placements

- Martian influence on the angles

- Black Moon Lilith conj one of your personal planets or angles

Also, while jealousy and envy are a part of everyone's life - you will experience it at some point, don't deny it lol - it doesn't mean everyone is the worst hater but some people are and will try to sabotage you and ruin your life just because they don't like their own life.

So, what can you do about that ?

1) First, there's usually signs of it early on and you need to trust yourself on that : like someone always 'joking' that you're better, so lucky and 'why not me lol' things like this (it's not a good sign tbh, they will often switch and hate openly).

2) You can see also if any time you're talking about something good happening to you, they react in a weird way (they stop talking, they seem to be annoyed etc = jealousy, subconscious or not) : it's a clear sign to distance yourself cause they don't love you enough to support you.

3) Also, esp for 8H and 12H people : if anytime you're talking about a good thing that will happen to certain people and soon after the opportunity disappear or issues appear with it, it's a good sign that they may hate on you (somehow send you the evil eye, subconsciously or not).

Anyways, I'd say if you have these energies in your chart (and esp 8H/12H placements), you shouldn't tell too many people your business and EVEN MORE if it's about upcoming projects, contracts etc : wait until it's done and cannot fail if you really want to share about it. Also, maybe it's harsh but if you have all the listed things in your chart, it's better to stay away from people with a self-esteem that is too low (unless they're actively working on themselves with therapy or else) cause they will start to hate you for anything successful in your life lol.

Aforementioned Napoleonic AU! Martian !! I said it would just be a wip but then oops, I basically finished it! Ty to everyone who was interested :D

Really really proud of these I'm ngl! I rendered in a really different way than ever before and I'm very satisfied with it :D

Ramble about historical influences(basically me being a nerd about who I consider the F1 drivers of the Napoleonic era):

So I wanted to explain my thought process because I think that the specific context behind the uniforms I drew is very relevant, as I didn't just pick them on a whim.

I drew them in Hussars' uniforms(Austrian Empire = Red Bull, but like obviously not 100% accurate because the uniform colors are based off the RBR racesuits.) Hussars are, in my opinion, the F1 drivers of their time. Let me quote several things that led me to this conclusion:

"During the Napoleonic period, hussars, as in all armies, were employed as scouts, given raiding missions or despatched to harry and pursue a defeated enemy on the run. Mounted on light, nimble horses..."

"...Their flamboyant costume and their reputation for daredevil acts..."

"...developed a romanticized image of being dashing and adventurous.

Okay....so they're dashing and adventurous, riding specifically on fast, light horses, dressed in flamboyant outfits committing daredevil acts...sir that is literally an F1 driver!!! Tell me they aren't the historical predecessor to F1 drivers!!!

I have this big book of Napoleonic uniforms(yea I'm a nerd) and I was paging through it to see what uniforms I wanted to draw(I have a habit of drawing my one oc in the Napoleonic era. So when I started drawing fanart, I'm like of course I must draw them as this!) Austria's normal uniforms in this era are soooo boring compared to France's, so I was really 😒 about drawing them, but then I came across the Hussars, and then started noticing all these similarities and thought it was perfect. Also I need to mention the fact that Austria's royal cipher at the time was literally this:

IT'S "F1", IT IS LITERALLY FUCKING F1, WHAT THE HELLLLL!?!?!?!? I had like a partial mental crisis coming across this, at that point it was destiny for me to draw this

*I wrote most of his around when I started this drawing, which was all the way back in April. And it's really interesting to consider now that I was basically immersed in the history of the Austrian Empire for a month. I apologize to everyone in my life who had to endure my lecture on why Hussars are the F1 drivers of their time. But god I could not hold it back when I saw some of these uniforms in person. And it was cool to pull out this drawing, even if it was just a wip, and be like "oh hey I've drawn these!!" Anyways, I digress.

Obviously the martian drawing is a direct reference to this pic from Malaysia 2010:
