I’ve already been back to work for three days now, but I had to take another day off. My partner is usually understanding but they were not happy about me missing another day. We fought about it and they told me I should maybe look into increasing the dosage for my medication. I know it’s not productive or helpful to not make my hours at work. I just really felt like I couldn’t go. I woke up late so I was already off to a bad start. After texting my manager they said if I missed a third day I would have to bring a doctors note so of course I went back the following day especially since there was a staff meeting. Sometimes when it comes to my depression I feel like no one understands how hard it is to just function sometimes. The difficulty of just participating in everyday life can be so exhausting. I get dressed depressed. I commute to work depressed. I go to the gym depressed. I eat depressed. I sleep depressed. Then the one time it all becomes too much and I decide to take a day or days for my mental then it’s a problem. Where’s my flowers for getting through every other day with a smile on my face? I wish someone would appreciate that. Until next time, take care and be well.

We are all different. We may be blessed with who we are and what we have today. But remember to always look back where you came from. You should not keep a part of you, whether you eat 3-meals a day or not, live from a far or you have not completed your studies.
Don't be ashamed of what you have or what you don't have, even the hardship you went through. It shows how tough you are and you've been able to withstand it. If ever people judge you for it, remember that they have contributed nothing to you to change who you are today.
Nothing should stop you from living a life of your own. Love who you want. Dress however you like. Laugh until the sun rests and enjoy every once in a lifetime moment.
