Shoji headcanons

Content: Fluff, some insecurity, gn reader, Shoji being great, it's sappy at the end, lmk if I should add anything else

A/N: I have no motivation or inspiration to write, so here's something I wrote a while ago. And Shoji needs more love so,

Honestly he has no idea what to do with himself. He’s been called many things, and “pretty” or “attractive” haven’t been any of them. So when he sees you, he think he has so chance of dating you. Sure, he’s kind and considerate, but most people don't look past his appearance. And he certainly didn’t want to scare you. It was when you checked in him after a rough training session that he started to fall for you. You want out of your was to make sure he was okay. Your caring personality really drew him in. And the two of you quickly become friends. He’s a good listener, and loves hearing you talk about things you’re passionate about. And he never gets tired of hearing your voice. And he’s very respectful of your boundaries. He’s happy being your friend, and he’s perfectly fine with your relationship staying platonic, but sometimes he just wants to hug and cuddle with you. It’s unlikely that he’d confess, so you’d probably have to initiate the first step into a romantic relationship. He still his his doubts though. He think you should be with someone “more attractive.” But any time he brings it up, you’ve quick to assure him that you want him, and only him. You think he’s the prettiest boy you’ve met, and when you tell him that, he desperately wants to pull you into a hug. The first time he took off his mask in front of you, he was a little scared. But he’ll never forget the look of utter adoration on your face when you saw him. And when he’s around you he often feels better about himself. He likes being in the same room with you because then he can make sure you’re okay. And he notices you tend to do something similar, and it makes him a little red. Some of your classmates notice that he tends to talk to you with his regular mouth instead of on of his morph ones. Physical touch was something he was always careful about, and even more so when it’s affectionate or intimate. It took him some time, but eventually he grew to really love it. He loves when you kiss his hands, and he wont hesitate to do the same. He also loves holding your hands. His hands are pretty big, so chances are that yours are smaller than his. His skin is pretty rough from all the hero training, but he knows it’s not something that bothers you, so he doesn’t think about it too much. Cuddling and hugging are one of his favorite things too. He likes having you in his arms. He’s really warm, so if it’s cold it, it just makes it better. Further into the relationship, he starts to love touching your face if you’re comfortable with it. Your gorgeous face in his hands. His whole world in his hands.

MHA Headcannons, part 1

I headcannon that Shoji and Bakugo both share the interest in reading romance books. Even though it’s canon that Bakugo does, I’d still like to believe that Shoji does too.

Also, I will also headcannon their types. There will be some dark content, but I think you guys will manage.

...

Like, think about it: Bakugo may be reading books about the protagonist falling fot a brutish, hot tempered boy. Or just-just something in that direction.

I think that even though he sets his priorities of becoming the number one hero, the best, and stuff like that, pretty high. But I also think that he’d like to have someone by his side, accompanying him on his way to his goals.

Somebody, who is willing to endure all his anger, his harsh words, and his maybe toxic behavior (we all have at least one, mine’s jealousy) with a smile -okay not always- and reassuring words. Comforting words, in a calm voice, a steady one, unwavering.

A person who understands why he is the way he is, and who doesn’t cry when he attacks verbally. He wants somebody like that, but...he thinks that this kind of person only exists in the fictional world.

Shoji would be reading fantasy stuff or criminal romance novels. Why?

Fantasy for the main character to fall in love with a person who is either seen as- or looking like a “monster”, by criminal novels a person with a failed surgery or some accident and now a deformed face, looking all unnatural and scary.

Unsightly.

Ugly.

Hideous.

or even the protagonist could be the beast and still, that one special person falls for them, not caring about how the protagonist looks.

He’d read such stories, because in those stories, the authors describe his worries and insecurities perfectly. And they let him fantasize about how nice it’d be if someone would be there for him.

With unwavering love, unconditional and uncaring if he looks scary, ugly, or spooky. he’d like someone who’d rather go for the personality, who doesn’t judge based on looks.

He’d also like to hear comforting words and soft spoken things said to him. He’d like a significant other who would give him advice on how to overcome his insecurities, or even somebody who also has a mutant type of quirk or also looks “scary”. In this post, I tried to make it a little easier for you to comprehend.

All in all, I think that Shoji and Bakugo would be some sort of book buddies, who’d recommend each other books.

I also headcannon that Shoji’s favourite disney movie was beauty and the beast solely because of the fact that Bell fell for the beast and not the prince, and second because she fucking preferred the beast. over. the. prince.

I mean, I would too!

[ I've never written Mezo Shoji actually, at least not from what I can recall. But anything is worth a try. ]

The first time he used his quirk on you was when you interrupted a conversation he was having with Ashido. You hated seeing how she made your boyfriend smile and laugh and had to put an end to it. But grabbing Hanta's arm while hissing out multiple threats wasn't the best idea and resulted in him taping your mouth shut.

He let most incidents slide thinking that jealousy was normal in a relationship, but noticing how clingy and worried you'd become when he wasn't around or talking to others concerned him. After a little investigating, he found out about your past relationship and how poorly you were treated.

"I promise, we can kiss and cuddle all you want later but...principal Nezu is coming!" you knew there were certain rules regarding relationships and dating at Yuuei, but this never stopped you from trying to show how you felt during school hours. Hanta on the other hand didn't want to get in trouble.

When you weren't in school, you were always by Hanta's side and on the rare chance you weren't you were texting him constantly. Many of your classmates and friends had tried to distract you or outright told you that you shouldn't be so clingy. But, you brushed their words off. After all, what did they know?

From time to time, you'd let your paranoid thoughts get the best of you and would ask or rather accuse Hanta of cheating on you. He noticed this usually happened when he was too busy to spend time with you. "Why would I do that? What we have is pretty great, don't you think babe?" he'd always try to reassure you somehow, but it didn't always work.

After you had gotten into a fight with someone else who was spending more time than you would have liked with your boyfriend, Hanta revealed that he knew you were cheated on in the past. "I know it's going to take a while, but we can work on your insecurities together, and just know that as long as I'm a hero, I'll never give up on you or us," he promised.

Mezo always put you first, especially when you began your relationship with him and he learned how poorly your ex had treated you. He thought it unforgivable for anyone to hurt or betray you, and silently promised he'd right the wrongs that had been done to you.

You knew that having a "hero" for a boyfriend would be difficult but you didn't realize how jealous you'd be when you witnessed him saving others and how they'd praise, touch, or flirt with him. But, you also didn't hesitate to walk over and bluntly state that Mezo was yours.

He noticed that at times, you'd go through extreme measures to be by his side. Like when you purposely applied at the same agency as him for your student internship. "You know, I'd be acting the same even if you weren't here," he told you. At the same time, he didn't mind the way you clung to him during patrols.

At times, you'd try to practice self-discipline. Instead of acting on your jealousy and insecurity, you'd hold it in. This usually resulted in you becoming a crying mess and Mezo having to comfort you. "Do you really think anyone else would want to date someone who scares children with his face?" you had to admit, it was nice knowing that you were the rare type that saw past his facial features.

On some days, you felt overly clingy and didn't want to separate yourself from Mezo. He would usually accommodate you by carrying you on his back with his tentacles surrounding you as a precaution. "Your weight feels nice on my back..." he'd comment, but he also found your overall presence to be comforting.

When your one-year anniversary came, Mezo decided to surprise you with a promise ring. "Just in case you need proof that I won't disrespect or cheat on you. That I wouldn't do anything to lose you," he said, slipping the piece of jewelry onto your finger with ease.

2018 backlog part 8 <3

Screams filled your ears and smoke filled your lungs. You heart beat so fast you could feel it in your head. The city was burning; buildings crashing around you. That's when you hear the laughter coming from behind you. Whipping around you see a figure; nothing more than a solid silhouette it's right hand ablaze as it stands there unmoving; uncaring.

"What's the matter little hero? Can't even save a single city?" His voice was coarse and cocky but just barely audible over the sounds of screams and the deafening ringing in your ears. You tried to move but you suddenly felt a sharp pain on your side from a wound you didn't realize you were holding. Within the moment that you looked at your side and up again he was directly in front of you. His green eyes piercing through you as you take in his burnt skin. His calloused hand was brought up in front of you face, you knew what was happening. You squeezed your eyes tight the tears that were falling stinging with every millimeter as you braced yourself.

Hot. That's all you could feel as he unleashed his quirk on you killing you. As you jolted up from bed. The hot tears against your red face, your body was drenched in sweat. You stayed there your body shaking as you hid your face in your hands. The five minutes you sat in the dark felt like an eternity until you removed the covers from your body. Standing up on quaking legs you shuffled over to the bathroom taking a nice cold shower.

After letting the water fall onto you cooling you off you dry off and get back into pajamas. You crawl back into your bed your heart still racing. Reaching for you phone with a click the screen lights up reading 2:24. Shit. You opened your contacts and scrolled, looking for his. You stared at your phone screen unsure if you should wake him up or not.

"(Y/N) next time you have a nightmare or need help I want you to call me ok?" His voice rang through your pounding head. Though the tears had stopped the congestion was not. The phone rung a few times each ring making you more hopeful you wouldn't wake the sleeping giant. He picks up a groggy hello comes through the receiver.

"I had a nightmare again..." your stuffy nose and scratchy throat made it hard to talk but you could tell he heard you. He said a quick 'I'm on my way' and hung up before you could protest.

You couldn't deny he was a great friend. He was caring and protective and was always looking out for you. You also couldn't deny you wanted to be more than that.

It wasn't long until you heard a knock on your dorms door, luckily there was no question of who it was. Getting up you shuffle to the door on your ever so shaky legs. The second the door opened wide enough he picked you up cradling you against his warm body with his wing like arms. After locking the door he carries you to your bed and tucks you in. Laying down on top of the covers. You scooted closer to him as he gently rested a hand on your arm comforting you. Though the two of your talked softly his voice and warmth lulled you to sleep quickly. The memory of that nightmare saved for tomorrow.

The next morning you awoke to a shining sun but something was different than usual. Your blankets were the same, as was everything else. Everything, that is, aside from the large busy you were currently cuddled up against. This isn't the first time this has happened, the two of you slept in the same bed before, just as you had last night. You gazed up at us resting face. He looked peaceful. You were admiring his peacefully figure when you felt yourself drift back to sleep.

The next time you woke up you felt your bed empty; a sensation that even though you were used to seemed extremely unwelcoming. Groggily you sit up noticing the bathroom door open and just beyond the door frame you saw his shirtless muscular body. You felt yourself choke slightly as your eyes scanned him, taking in every inch of him before you were caught. That's when you noticed his mask sitting in the counter in front of him.

You crept out of your bed making as little sound as possible as you snuck over to the bathroom door.

"Shoji?" You called to him from a couple feet away, sleep coating your voice. Startled he jumped back turning towards you and instinctively covering his mouth. Once his feet were planted solidly on the floor and his eyes were glued to you. His eyes searched your features for an indication that you saw what he hides.

One step. Another step. You slowly made your way over to the startled giant. Your eyes focusing on eachother searching for... for.. for something you weren't sure what. Maybe it was the mutual feelings you were both craving. Maybe it was answers. No one knew. You couldn't help yourself as you raised your hand slowly as you inch closer and closer to him. Reaching up you cover his hand with your own, you could feel him tense up as you try to gently pull his hand away. His eyes full of fear as you remove his hand from his face. Your eyes wander from his down to his mouth. His mouth was full of sharp pointy teeth. More.. menacing.. than Kirishima's.

You didn't scream, you didn't cry, you didn't run, you didn't laugh. You smile softly your eyes kind and gentle. Your bodies drew closer as if you were magnets as your hands entwined. A soft blush spreading across both of your cheeks.

"Shoji. You're still you. Nothing can change that." You say softly afraid to break the moment. He smiles. He smiles with his teeth showing for you. A smile that no one else would get to see. Only for you. The two of lean in in unison. The second your lips connect you entire body gets washed over by a warm sensation. You close your eyes hoping the moment will never end if you can't see. But it does. Only for a moment until you are pulled against his body and kissed again. Deep. Passionate. Trusting.

They try out VR headcanons (Izuku Midoriya, Fumikage Tokoyami, Gang Orca, Selkie, Mezo Shoji, Ramattra)

My birthday is coming up, and I'm receiving a VR headset! I wanted to do something special for you guys due to all of your support. Thank you so much! Enjoy some headcanons!

Izuku Midoriya:

You gave Izuku the VR Headset and he was confused by what it was.

“What is this Y/N?” Izuku asked.

“It’s a VR headset! It’s virtual reality, and it’s basically where you can immerse yourself in what the headset is showing you.”

Izuku was amazed and quickly put on the headset.

”Wow! This is amazing!” Izuku said in amazement.

Izuku refused to take off the headset for some time until you told him that you would take him out to his favorite restaurant.

Izuku was so hyped to eat his favorite food at his favorite restaurant.

After the restaurant, he went right back to virtual reality.

His favorite game is VRChat. He likes being social with others and talking about quirks.

Fumikage Tokoyami:

Tokoyami noticed that you were wearing a strange, shaped-box on your head.

”Y/N? What is that on your head?” Tokoyami asked.

You took off the headset in excitement, “It’s called virtual reality. You should try it out!”

Tokoyami quietly refused, but after some convincing he attempted it.

He tried to put it on his head, but it didn’t really work as it didn’t fit.

There are no VR headsets for birds yet.

Instead you showed a video of someone playing VR.

Tokoyami was intrigued, but politely declined on Virtual Reality.

You shrugged. I guess VR isn’t for everyone. Gang Orca (Kugo Sakamata):

Kugo was confused about what you wanted him to try on.

You told him that it was virtual reality.

Kugo took the headset out of your grasp in curiosity.

It seemed like it couldn't fit his head though.

Kugo still wanted to try VR out.

While Kugo was out on hero business. You took it to yourself to make a custom VR headset just for your boyfriend.

Kugo was astonished by your hard work and gladly didn't want your hard work to go to waste.

When Kugo put on the headset, he was amazed at the world that he was seeing.

Kugo was amused with VR and thought it would be valuable for modern day technology and the uses of it were infinite.

VR would be fun for children.

VR could be used as simulators for the military.

And much more uses of VR.

Overall, Kugo enjoyed VR and is interested to see further developments of it.

He also gave you a kiss for making that custom headset for him.

Selkie:

Selkie is confused about what virtual reality is.

His job is to defend the ocean, and much more to what a hero does.

He doesn't really have time for technology and isn't well acquainted with it.

Selkie is willing to try it out though.

Selkie thought it was interesting for small children, but couldn't understand why VR is so popular.

Selkie thinks that people should focus on reality more than being in some fictional, fake, unrealistic world.

He respects people's passion for VR though.

If anything, Selkie has brought a new perspective about technology, and how you should spend your time doing things besides VR in the future.

Mezo Shoji:

Mezo is a little perplexed by the headset that you are giving to him.

You tell him how to put it on and so he does.

His hair is a little bit of a problem since it's so long, but he works his way around it.

Mezo looks kind of werid with a VR headset on.

Mezo never has been one for technology so he needs some time to adjust.

After about an hour in VR, Mezo took it off and said it was okay.

Although, virtual reality wasn't quite to his tastes and declines putting it on ever again.

He wants to stay in reality for the reason of being in a relationship with you and how the real-world could never replicate VR.

Words of wisdom, and Mezo is known for that to you.

Ramattra:

Ramattra isn't well acquainted with VR.

He asks what it's function is.

Uhh? It's used for immersion, and a multitude of things you explain to him.

Ramattra politely asks if he can try the headset on, and of course you let him.

You are a human, but since you have nothing against Ramattra and have been rumored by Omnics that you help them out. He and his kind accept you in their community.

The headset easily fits on his head.

I'm not sure if VR works for omnics, but let's just say it does?

Ramattra is pleased by virtual reality and requests to get more of these interesting pieces of technology.

Ramattra thinks that his army could use VR as battle simulators.

He's not wrong?

Ramattra and his army attack a store to steel a bunch of VR headsets!

What have I done? You think to yourself.

You still love him regardless of what he steels, and he loves you very much even though you're a human.

You treat his kind as you are equals, so he has no quarrel with you.

Hey my Tumblr Peeps😃👍I have been thinking about writing a particular character from My Hero Academia recently, so I figured I'd write about this particular character even tough I wrote about him before😃👍Anyways here it is😁👍So this fanfic about Shoji is the 1st fanfic in over a year that I have written about and completed🐙🦑😃👍

What Would Shoji Do If Or When... (Mezo Shoji (as an adult) x Any Gender Reader)

Genre:Fluff, comfort, and, angst. (Head Cannon(?)) (Warning ⚠️: possible slight or full manga spoiler)

*When Shoji first meets you he will be shy and/or quiet, even though he will try to talk to you. So he will be perfectly fine with talking to you regardless, if it's him starting the conversation or you starting the conversation, however he might not say much until he gets to know you. He will still try to say stuff despite of not saying much as he first meets you.

*If Shoji sees any signs and you tell him that you want to be his friend, though he will not be fully convinced at the same he will be surprised and delighted that that you wanted to be friends with him or anyone like him. That's because he wants to be your friend as well and will also more than happy to be your friend as well as you being his friend.

*If you were ask Shoji out on a date and/or if you could have a relationship with you, as he blushes, he will be more than surprised that you asked this as well. So, because Shoji wanted to ask you the same as well (even tough he was too shy to ask you, not knowing you like him too), he happily agreed to go on a date and/or have a relationship with you. Infact, the day you asked Shoji out would definitely be one of the best days of his life.

*When Shoji gets to know you he will definitely be more open with you. Shoji will still be shy atleast from time to time, however he's beginning to put more trust into and he now knows he can open up to you more now. He will also be willing to let you open up to him, especially about anything you need to talk to him about when you are comfortable to do so as well.

*If you are stressed out in anyway about anything, Shoji will notice it when he sees you stressed. In a very calm way he will ask you questions, such as,"What happened, (any gender reader name)?", "Is there anything bothering you, (any gender reader name)?", or "How's your day, (any gender reader name) or other similar questions help may ask. If in anyway you're uncomfortable talking about your stress, Shoji will not push you to talk about any possible stress that you have and he will let you talk about it when you're comfortable talking about it and if you're a hugger who would like a hug, he will be more than happy to give a hug as long as you feel you need it. However if you decide to talk about what was stressing you out, Shoji will listen to you and will comfort you in anyway you need for you to feel calmer and he will still hug you as long as you need him to, if you're a hugger.

*When you see Shoji not wearing his mask one day (up to the reader's imagination on why and/or how Shoji's mask is off) you couldn't help, but to be curious about his scars. Shoji talked about his past, how he saved a little girl from drowning (tough he saw the little girl was crying after he saved her), how he got his scars, and why he wears his mask. You then realized what Shoji went through in his past, then after knowing what he looked liked without his mask you find him still handsome and you seeing him without his mask and hearing him talk about his past and why he has his mask on you were upset for what his oppressors did to him, however at the same time learning all this about Shoji has made you care deeply more about him and has also made you love and accept him even more. So when Shoji saw this reaction of yours, he then knew you're his safe space, just as well as, he is your security blanket.

SHOJI!!

What makes the harmony between the two of you is that Shoji is a unique gentleman. He is usually always quite patient with you and is so sweet that a fight is a fairly rare occurrence in your relationship. Shoji loves you for who you are, and it surprises him that someone 'ordinary and creepy-looking' as him has you. (you beat his ass for his lack of confidence and you are proud of it)

But sometimes, fate brings beautiful and painful events that you can't think of at the same time. There are beautiful memories in every pain that we think we will experience unilaterally, and systematic pain in every beautiful memory. Because that's how fate is. Fate throws everything in front of you at once and watches you fall into its current.

"Hello." said a thick voice. A masked, tall boy. And as you lift your head up and wake up from your thoughts... you saw a boy- with different body limbs.

Shoji’s lack of response seemed to make the world freeze. Or maybe everything is going faster? Spinning. You’re mind is spiralling, that’s what this feeling is.

As soon as the request was spoken into existence, you regretted it. Never had Shoji made you uncomfortable, he loved that about you, you were never so much as apprehensive around him. But now, you fidget and tense at his (intense) gaze. Shoji’s eyes flicked over to the window looking over the dorm’s courtyard, but not looking at anything in particular. Just a minute ago you wanted to run away and die in a corner, and now you just want him to look at you.

“I.. I didn’t mean—“

“It’s okay,” Shoji finally emerged from his trance, though only for a second. “It’s just…”

You held your breath, waiting for something, anything to ease your racing thoughts that tried to think of how to go back in time and tell yourself to shut the fuck up.

“I’m not from the cities. I know how my appearance makes people feel, my hometown made sure of that,” he says softly, almost inaudible, still not looking at you. “I don’t want… I don’t want you to—“

“I’m not scared of you,” you didn’t mean to say that. You tried to think of something else to say, anything to make him believe you. But all you could muster was a hand on his thigh.

Shoji turned his head to look at your hand, and with a deep breath he continued, “I know. I’m just…”

He finally looks at you again, “I’m not exactly nice to look at. I thought I’d always be— I don’t know, I didn’t think anyone would want—“ he gestures to his face. “… this.”

Without thinking, you swung your legs over to sit on his lap. Shoji chokes out something akin to a gasp, but does not object when your arms move to embrace him. Shoji’s hands almost seem to shake as he slowly lifts his arms to return the gesture.

It was short lived, however, when Shoji pulled away, and after a moment of thought, reached to his mask. Your hands follow his to grasp the hem of his mask and pull it over his head. For a moment you still can’t see as his hair hangs over his face. When you brushed the hair away, Shoji didn’t know what he expected from you. He searched your face for any suggestion of uncertainty or regret, but all he found was your beautiful smile.

- I’m pretty sure that you wouldn’t even have to tell this man that you’re sick honestly, he seems like the type that would want to check up on you fairly frequently so when he calls you and hears the tone of your voice he’s immediately like “You’re sick. Relax and get comfortable, I’m coming over to take care of you” and heads straight to your dorm

- And take care of you he does, this boy refuses to let you lift a finger while he’s around and will do absolutely anything you ask of him (and even things you don’t, because he can tell what you need even when you don’t want to tell him because you don’t want him to work himself too hard)

- And no matter how much you insist that you’re fine and that he doesn’t need to do so much for you, he won’t listen and will insist that it’s no trouble for him to take care of his partner while they’re sick, and that he knows you’d do the same for him

- Of course, he’ll never do anything you don’t want him to. If you’re too nauseous to eat he won’t make food, and if you just want to sleep and be alone for a while, then he’ll wait in the common room and let you have your peace and quiet to rest

- But he won’t let you shoo him off just because you’re afraid of burdening him, he insists he’s happy to help you with whatever you may need no matter what it may be

- Need to eat something? He’ll prepare any meal from scratch that you want, making sure it’ll be easy on your stomach. Throwing up? He’ll hold your hair for you if it’s long enough to get in the way, and he’ll rub your back and help you through it as best as he can. Out of pain meds? He’ll head out to the store no matter how late it is

- His dupli-arms actually make it quite easy for him to take care of you, as they allow him to get multiple tasks done at once (brewing a nice cup of tea for your throat while also cooking you a meal, for example) and he’s never far from you for more than a few minutes at a time while you're sick

- His quirk also makes him really good at massages, so if your body is sore from the sickness he will happily massage you wherever you need, for as long as you need until you feel better

- He also does not care at all about getting sick, you’re more important to him and he will happily catch your illness if it means taking care of you and cuddling you until you fall into a restless sleep

- This boy is so good with his words when it comes to you, so even if you come to him crying and miserable because you just feel so ill and can’t do anything without feeling horrible, he knows exactly what to say to soothe your cries as he holds you while still validating your feelings

- Overall Shoji is a very patient, doting lover when you’re sick, and he’s exactly the kind of boyfriend you’d want by your side through your illness as he’d comfort you and get you feeling better in no time <3

♡ Eijiro Kirishima ♡

- Kiri is the type of boyfriend to get so sad when you tell him how unwell you’re feeling :(

- It breaks his heart to see you in that much pain, and even if you try and sugarcoat things and make it seem like you’re not that sick, he’ll see straight through you and insist that he’d be by your side even if it were nothing more than a small cold

- He’s quick to cancel all his plans for the next few days, insistent on being at your beck and call while you’re suffering like this. Even if all you want is some time to relax and rest by yourself for a while, he wants to make sure he’s free and with your notifications turned up on his phone just in case some kind of emergency happens or you need him for any reason

- Now, Kirishima’s actually been working on improving his cooking skills lately by convincing Bakugo to give him some pointers and watching his angry friend when he does cook, so he’s able to make you the perfect food to ease your stomach!

- Homemade soup has actually become one of his specialties, so he’s more than happy to make you some delicious food to help keep you as healthy as possible during this time <3

- He’s also big on giving you massages whenever you mention how sore your body feels. He’s gentle and puts pressure on all the right places to help ease your pain, and he’s more than willing to give them as often as you want! He even suggests it if he can tell you’re hurting but you don’t want to say anything

Kiri's always found hydration very important due to his rigorous workout routine, so while you're sick he makes sure you're drinking enough water to keep your body hydrated. You're already suffering enough as is, don't need to add dehydration into the mix (especially if you're having trouble keeping food down)

- He’s another one who doesn’t shy away from cuddles and even kisses in the slightest, he doesn’t care about the risk of catching your sickness

- He’s lucky enough to have a really good immune system and rarely ever gets sick, but even without that he just can’t resist the urge to hold and kiss you whenever you hold your arms out for him <3 He loves you so much, he will literally never say no to physical affection of any kind with you

- If you start overthinking or telling him how you feel bad relying on him so much for help, he immediately shuts you down with a sweet kiss and some enthusiastic words of support and encouragement

- He immediately begins to hover over your every move, constantly asking how you’re doing, if you need anything, if you’ve eaten or drank enough water, if you’re going to die-

- Safe to say his stress and anxiety have a tendency to get the better of him in these situations, and he admittedly can be a bit overwhelming when you first come down with such a miserable sickness when he realizes just how debilitated you are

- Inevitably, though, you reach a breaking point and ask him as calmly as you can in your unwell state to ease up on all the questions and constant fretting, as your mind simply doesn’t have the energy in your current state and his panic is only serving to make you stressed on top of everything else

- He really is a good boyfriend, though, so he’s quick to do as you ask and eases up a lot on the questioning and constantly hovering over everything you do, even if he is still worried about your health

- Once he’s stopped spiraling, he will notice without you needing to verbally tell him when you want some time to yourself to just rest vs. when you need to be held and taken care of, he’s incredibly perceptive due to his heightened anxiety so it’s easy to adapt to your ever-changing needs

- He is still prone to comforting you with cuddles if you’re open to it, though. Of course he’ll give you space without question if you ask, but in holding you, he can feel you - can feel that you’re still doing okay - and that comforts him as he comforts you

- And whenever you want him near you, he’ll wrap his arms around you and rub your back soothingly as he tells you how sorry he is that you’re in so much pain and how he wishes he could take it all on for you

- And if you’re feeling insecure or like a “burden” of any kind he’ll reassure you that he’s more than happy to take care of you, and that you deserve help and care when you’re feeling so ill. You don’t have to be strong in times like this

- Tamaki has a huge collection of tea since it helps with his anxiety quite a bit, he has every flavor imaginable and plenty of choices including decaf. So when you’re sick you will have your pick of the crop as he’s more than happy to share whatever you need. Rest assured, your throat will be soothed with warm herbal tea as long as your boyfriend’s around lol

- And even though social situations usually make him anxious, he’ll do anything you need while you’re sick. He knows it makes you feel nauseous to even stand up, so he’s more than willing to go out and order food for you or whatever you need even if the thought makes him internally want to shrivel up and crumble, because he loves you more than he fears others <3

- Tamaki may be a bit overwhelming at first when you get sick, but once he gets past that hurdle he will go above and beyond to get you well as soon as possible, he values you more than anything else and just wants to get rid of your pain as soon as possible :]

you glared at the boy in front of you with a murderous glint in your eyes. Everything he did, whether he opened his mouth, looked around, or even breathed - you couldn’t stand it.

Not because you hated Izuku. No. You’d never hate that sweet boy. If anything, you’d rip your heart out just to get his attention. But right now, he was talking to Todoroki about the progress he’d made in english.

You were better than Todoroki in english, why didn’t Izuku ask you? Also, come to think of it, you never really had any proper interaction with the cutie you’ve gotten that stupid crush on.

It is already the end of the first semester! Throughout the sports festival, or the camp incident- hell, even the kamino incident, you two had never actually time to chat with each other. but, you also thought that the greenette would purposely avoid you. that thought made your little, fragile heart of glass break.

With your quirk, diamond, which allowed you to form your being into a living weapon like Yaoyorozu, with spikes adorning your limbs, your skin to harden like Kirishima’s, or your voice to echoed when you crystallised your throat and screamed like Present Mic.

When you used your quirk, nothing could break you. Todoroki’s fire or ice only made you stronger, with the extra sand you carried around, you managed to ‘heal’ your broken or injured places and even won against him when you sparred against the boy.

But, the drawback was that you looked...spooky.

Shoji respected you for not covering up the consequence of your quirk overuse on your face. To put it easily, your face...it was broken.

Yep.

Your right eye had a crack coming out from your iris and it went across your whole face like a spider’s den, but, you didn’t cover up.

You liked that you looked like that, even when you might look scary. well, it was the drawback of your quirk. You were happy that it didn’t hit one of the nerves in your right eye, otherwise you wouldn’t be able to see.

Also, Shoji was your best friend, along with Koda and Tokoyami.

“Um...hey?“, a voice called, snapping you out of your thoughts. Your wide eyes searched for the voice, and you only had to look to the left, where Izuku fiddled with his hands, not looking at you.

Is-is he? is he talking to me-

“You know...since we didn’t really talk that much together...I would like to get to know you better...! I mean, only if you want to, of course.“

Huh, he really is talking to me.

“And what should we do together?“

He didn’t look prepared. At all.

“Oh-um, well, I-I don’t know! W-we could uh-“

“Fight.“

“H-huh?“

“Let’s fight, Midoriya.“

“You mean like, training?“

“Mhm.“

“O-oh, um, yeah. Yes! Sure!“

You were training for a few minutes now. Where was he? The ground was wet with your sweat and you had to change your training area because of that. Now, you were hardening yourself. In your heart, there was a crack.

That crack resembled the hurt Izuku had given you. He didn’t even show up. Such a freak. You got angry and groaned, your skin shining beautifully in your skin colour, but as if it’s made out of glass.

“Ah, didn’t he come?“, a familiar deep voice called, and you didn’t need to know who it was. You shook your head. “Nope, and I’m such a dumbass for falling for it. You have any idea ho to push off some steam, Shoji?“

You now turned around and looked at his big frame. hot. He looked to the side. “Let’s get out of here. You’ve been here long enough.”

You nodded. You didn’t want to be here anymore either. Just as you left the gym, Izuku came storming into the place him and you agreed to spar on. He was here-but where were you?

One look at his watch told him that he messed up; He was half an hour too late.

He groaned, hitting his head. Of course you’d leave! He’s so stupid for talking to All Might earlier!

He still couldn’t help but blush. Thinking that you’d even agreed to hang out with somebody like him...wow.

He still thought that he was undeserving considering the shit he’s been through. However, he was a little more confident, but not when it came to you.

You, who was so, so beautiful despite your broken face which you got from fighting numerous villains, and it just added to your beauty.

You, who was on top of the class, helping dumber students like Kirishima, Denki, Mina and Sero to lift the weight off of Bakugo’s shoulder with just a nod- to which Bakugo was very thankful for.

You, who was very good in any language, english being your easiest subject. Maybe he should’ve asked you on a study date like Shoto advised the hopeless romantic to do, but Izuku was a freak. Too scared to confess, pussying out every time when he got closer to you than ten feet.

you, who only hung around the calmest students, like Kida, Tokoyami, Jirou, and...Shoji.

Now, Izuku didn’t have anything against the gentle giant, but he was jealous od Mezo for being able to talk to you so effortlessly. Whenever your cute laugh blossomed in his hearing area, he whipped his head to you with a smile, only for it to fall the second he saw the reason you were happy.

Shoji was perfect, he thought.

Shoji understood you.

Shoji was a respectful man.

Shoji was polite.

Shoji had a cool quirk.

Shoji was nice.

Shoji wasn’t shy. Shoji wasn’t scared of speaking his mind. Shoji was funny.

In other words, Shoji was everything Izuku wasn’t.

The freckled boy shook his head, tears already forming in his eyes. Now, he ran back, his heart wanting to find you.

“N-no...“

“Yes.“

You were laughing your ass off as Shoji told you an embarassing story of him trying to dance gangnam style on ‘just dance’ and how he felt like one of the dancers, saying that he was really feeling it, and he even made a short dance of hopping around and crossing his hands, singing ‘Opa gangnam style!’ right next to you.

Even though you two were in public and people were staring, you and Shoji couldn’t care less. It was nice to have Shoji as a friend. ouch

It was sunset now, and Shoji and you were on your way back to the dorms. He had his hands in his pockets, his bag resting behind him with one of his many arms holding it. You had your bag in front of you and holding it like a stereotypical anime girl.

Your eyes were closed as you laughed, and Shoji watched you with a covered, fond smile. Then, when your laughter slowly died down, he looked to the ground again, taking deep breaths. Then, he stopped walking, and you took three steps forward, then you stopped too when he didn’t go.

“Shoji...?“

“...“, he only looked to the side, as if contemplating on telling you something.

you snickered again. “What is it, Shoji?”, you asked, smiling at the boy with fondness written all over your face. He took one last deep breath before taking a step towards you. “well, I- woah!”, he said, falling onto his left knee, but balancing himself again.

“Um, you okay?“

“Y-yeah, guess I just fell for you. That’s all.”, he chuckled, resting his arms on his right knee, looking up at you with cheeky anticipation. And hope.

You, were speechless for a moment. Did he just...confess?

“I-you-huh?“, you only made out before Shoji sighed, taking both your hands caustiously and slowly, as if he was ready to let you go when you wanted to.

“I fell in love with you, you know? You’re amazing. You’re-“

he kissed one of your hands through his clothed lips, and you still felt goosebumps traling up your arm and how it spreaded all over your body.

“-beautiful-“

much more kisses now, going slowly up your arm, and you let him. you wanted this...somehow. sure, the six-armed handsome young man you had could be a little blunt, but you didn’t know about Shoji’s straightforwardness. you felt your face heating up with every kiss he took.

“-brave, sweet, nice, and kind-“

now, he was kissing your cheek. you held your breath, waiting for him to kiss you on the lips.

“can I...kiss you?“, he murmured softly against your lips, looking up at you with half lidded eyes. and he had a finger hooked around the mask covering his lower face, slowly pulling it down.

He wasn’t going to...take it off, right?

“Please,“, you moaned breathlessly against Shoji, and he really took off the mask. He smiled shyly up at you. you cupped his face, tracing your thumbs against his long lips.

I wanna kiss you..., you thought.

Then you blinked. Wait. what am I doing? I have a crush on-Izuku...yeah, no. Fuck him.

I...I want to kiss Shoji. ,embarassed about that thought, you looked at Shoji’s closed eyes as he let you look and touch at the rest of his face. you were proud of yourself for being such a good person that even Shoji decided to show his face to you.

It was even a surprise at how much more beautiful the boy in front of you looked. He looked...complete.

“You’re even more beautiful than I imagined...”, muttered softly, trailing his lips and jaw. His breath hitched in his throat and his blissed out face got red. “What...what did you imagine me looking like without my mask on?”, he asked, eyeing you suspiciously, but you were too in trance at how pretty the boy you held looked like.

“Dunno, I already forgot...”, you trailed off as you inched closer to his face, slowly closing your eyes. He did the same and soon, your lips met perfectly. Slowly, as to not ruin the moment, you parted before kissing him again, and again and again.

Izuku ran back to the dorms. He didn’t think that you might have grabbed a bite, because you always only brought some water with you and lunch.

He still cursed himself for staying too late chatting away with his mentor, but then something caught the corner of his eye as he was about to reach the doorknob.

He finally saw you, but what were you doing with Shoji? Why are your faces so close?

Are you two...kissing?

Oh.

Tears were now streaming freely from his face and he had to clench his teeth as to not let any sound escape from his mouth. He turned away and opened the door, and dashed into his room.

Meanwhile, you were kissing the man kneeling in front of you with such a gentle way you’d sworn to only use on Izuku. But, guess you had a change of plans. (cue to me winking stupidly)

After a while, you parted with ragged breaths and taking in the other person. you spoke first.

“You really fell in love with me?“, you asked with a smile.

“Yes.“, he replied in a heartbeat.

“Well, shall we-“

“Dorm.“

“But-“

“Dorm.“

“Okay, let’s go.“

And finally, Shoji stood up from his knee and led you inside, but not before pulling his mask in its original place. One of his hands was resting on your lower back and another hand formed into a mouth, telling you to follow him, which you did.

You two ended up cuddling. Have some dignity you pervert.

After some months of dating, you and Shoji were ready to tell the class.

“Aww, you guys are so cute together!“, Mina cooed, looking at you, who was holding one of Shoji’s arms, with a teary smile on her face.

Izuku didn’t smile. He only looked at you with a hollow expression, heavy eyebags and pale skin engraved themselves into the poor boy’s body.

He sighed, looking at his notebook again. There was a drawing of you smiling, despite your broken face.

Izuku thought you looked absolutely perfect.

Mirio

You simply shook the snow that was covering your wings and quickly melted sending a terrible chill up your spine. “Fuck it’s freezing.”

“Oh, come on L/N, it’s not that cold.” Yuyu laughs as she throws another snowball at your back.

Squeaking when the snow slides down your skin between your wings. “Yuyu!” Your quirk picked up making the immediate section around you colder.

Suddenly someone’s hands were on your shoulders. “Now Birdy, calm down a little bit. If you’re cold I can just keep your warm.”

You nearly shoved your classmate away with your wings, but the bandage that was holding two of the four in splints prevented that. “Mirio, I’d beat you if I could.”

“Awe come on Sunshine, don’t pout.”

Sighing a bit, you lean back into his hold. “Fuck off.”

“That’s my Birdy.”

You quirked a brow. “You know if anyone, but you called me birdy I’d probably get suspended.”

Feeling his chest as he hums you roll your eyes before continuing the walk to class.

Amajiki

“Y/N.” you whip around completely forgetting where you were and the pile of fabric that your classmates had stacked on your head to see how much weight could be put on your head before you stopped working-- which was a lot more than they thought so they stopped mid-way.

Your body teetered as you tried to adjust it, so you sat properly-- not a poor example of a shrimp while you were working on your projects-- and you also fell backward because a lot of the fabric was still attached to the bolts. Before you could fall back into the precariously placed bag of sewing supplies, arms pulled you up, so you were at least on the tips of your feet as Amajiki kept you from sustaining further injury than was allowed.

“Sorry Amajiki,” you chuckle a little bit glancing at the mess behind you. “Damn I could have sworn I told them to clean up everything after they were done.”

“Are you okay Lovely?” His face was red, and he would probably pass out if he didn’t calm down soon.

“Yes, I’m fine, but why the nick name all of a sudden?” you chuckle making sure you had a clear space to stand.

You could just see his head practically burning up from how red he was getting. “ I- I

Smiling, you give him a quick hug. “I like it, Tamaki.”

He stood there for a moment before pulling his tall form into a ball on the ground, incoherent rambling comes out, but you did hear a mention of your name and how he thought lovely suited you which made your ears burn as you tried to busy yourself with cleaning up the mess.

Shinso

He could have been stereotypical and called you “Kitten” or “kitty” but no. You didn’t remember a cat in his eyes, and no matter how much he argued that he was a cat person, your personality was not cat like.

“Puppy, are we out of the cat treats again?” Hitoshi asked one day while you were busy cleaning the bathroom.

You nearly took out the tub spout with the speed with which your head came up, recoiling from impact you fell face first into the cloth you were using to clean the tub. There was no worry about chemical burn you were rinsing the tub which made how you hit the tub spout even more confusing. Hitoshi runs into the bathroom to see what happened and if you were okay.

Although it was a bit strained you managed to speak. “Y-yeah we ran out a few days ago I wrote it on the fridge.”

Shutting off the water and checking the back of your head for any sign of blood Hitoshi groans. “Thats not important are you okay puppy?”

There it was again. You look up at him, eyes big as you point to yourself. “You mean me puppy?”

“Yes, you’re…

He didn’t get a chance to finish his explanation as you ignored the slight throbbing in the back of your head as you practically tackled him to the ground into a hug. Defeated and tired, his hand rubs your back as he doesn’t even bother getting off the still very wet floor, he’d have to take a long bath later and he’d be lucky if you let him have that long before you complained that you wanted his attention again.

“Yup, definitely a puppy.” he sighs, as you hug him a little tighter. It was a wonder you weren’t in any specialized field with how much strength you had, but it was mainly due to working at your family’s pet shelter and being the only one confident enough to handle the more playful dogs.

Bakugo

You’d called your boyfriend many different terms of affection depending on how you were feeling. But he very rarely used one for you. It didn’t matter to you because you knew he showed affection differently.

“Tsuki!” You shout from the second floor of your house, you both decided early on to buy a house and whoever wanted to keep it could not that it mattered he had absolutely no plans of leaving you alone at any time.

When you were met with silence you leaned out of the doorway. “Tsuki!” being a little bit louder.

Thinking that he was wearing headphones or something you were about to scream for him. Only for him to tap you on the shoulder. Nearly jumping from your skin, you leaned a little too far on the banister. His arm catching you before you can fall over.

“I just keep catching you don’t I, happy?”

You nearly narrow your eyes at him, but he just pulls you closer before kissing the top of your head.

“Happiness needs someone to be Happy.” he mumbles.

You smile as you hug him tightly. “We gotta replace the banister now, don’t we?”

“Yes, we do, the hell were you yelling about anyway?” he frowns looking into the room you were just in.

You pull him in and point. “Ah, um… we should probably call an exterminator.”

Midoriya

You roll your eyes as Midoriya was once again showing off during agency training, everyone was doing their best to get stronger and not everyone had the correct conditions to train their quirks-- you included, seeing as every time you tried to train you regenerative quirk you were practically grounded to the school. IT wasn’t like you didn’t understand why he was praised, there was more to it than simply training. But you still found yourself saying: “Congratulations do you want a cookie?”

Midoriya smiles as he pulls you into a tight hug. “Yes, I do Cookie.”

Your heart leapt a bit as he did this, but deciding to be a bit of a menace he bites your cheek. Pushing him away you huff. “That’s not sanitary I’m covered in sweat.”

Suddenly he was pushed off you. “For fucks sake keep your damn hands to yourself.” Bakugo groans as he nudges you a bit too.

Which was a bit of an alarm for you since he was not one to pull his punches with any of them. You grab his arm watching as he seemed to relax a bit. “How long have you been avoiding me Blasty?”

“None of your damn business mind reader.”

“Awe come on, Kacchan, Cookie is as sweet on you as they are on me,” Midoriya pouts a bit as he pushes against Bakugo’s still extended arm.

Bakugo rolls his eyes a bit as he doesn’t budge. “I don’t want any part of your sappy relationship.”

“Are you sure? Puppy would probably be much more excited if you were a part of it,” you tease as you wait for your quirk to stop patching him up.

Kaminari

Bouncing from one foot to the other you hated waiting for Power-loader to allow you into the lab, it wasn’t like you were banned from it you simply were given time limits. With your quirks it was kind of like a cooldown because who knew how dazed you’d be if you spent the entire day using your flame breath. Once allowed inside you zip from one space to another quickly grabbing your things and returning to your earlier tasks. Kaminari, who needed you to recalibrate his disk shooters.

“You look like a little bumblebee buzzing about.” He chuckles.

Pausing in your tracks you look directly at him. “Thank you for the compliment. Now put your disk shooters on my table space so I can start fixing them.”

“Of course, bumblebee,” He beams before getting hit with something.

“No. No.” You frown covering your face, because now your heart was in your ears. Great you’ll have to face the consequences of this later because this idiot decided to say something like that. Making fall a little bit more in love with him.

Hearing a sharp. “L/N!” before trying to clean up the mess you’d just made.

Kirishima

Since you had a harder time with Japanese than you’d like to admit so early on in your relationship you called your friend Kirishima “Edgy” because for some reason his name just made you think that was the right way to say his name on top if his quirk.

“Eiji, where are my extra weights?” It wasn’t uncommon for him to be in your apartment at any moment simply because he enjoyed being in your company.

He looks around. “Uh, I dunno Babe do you think you forgot them?”

“No, I haven’t even used them yet.” You mumble trying to think.

“Baby.”

As you pace around the mini gym you had in your apartment you look for the missing weights.

“Love.”

Not finding them in the closet you cross your arms.

“The light of my life.”

Glaring at the ground you try to wrack your brain for where you could have placed them coming up blank when your face is picked up and squished in a hand that was rather large.

“Rosebud.”

Blinking you look at Eijiro confused as you felt embarrassed for ignoring him this whole time before a sharp smile is in your face.

“You left them by the door rosebud.” he chuckles a bit before planting a kiss on your nose and pulling away.

“You’re the worst you know that right?”

He simply laughs before pulling you into a hug and preparing your face with kisses.

Shoji

Dating was difficult with your quirk. Eyes constantly glued to the ground and never looking at another if you can help yourself. So, when your current partner started referring to you by a pet name you couldn’t help but look up at him. Towering over you small frame as he crossed his arms.

“Stardust when was the last time you took a break?” Mezo wasn’t mad and you knew that, but your head hung down a little bit.

“I can’t remember,” was all you could muster before he plucked you up from your computer chair like he normally would.

Pouting a little bit, it was hard for you to even fathom why he called you this, even as you were being placed on the couch.

As if reading your mind Mezo chuckles as he pulls a blanket from the nearby chair. “I call you stardust because of the performance from school.”

“Huh?”

“Because the first time you really looked up your eyes sparkled like stars.”

You pull the blanket over your head not even wanting to look at him. “Mezo that’s not fair.”

Todoroki

“Sho?” you felt like every time you visited this man, you’d lose him somewhere in the maze that was his childhood home. Not that there were any happy memories left from the large place, but you found that for his other family members sakes he returned.

You were surprised by how accommodating the entire building was, though you had to gently remind yourself that not everyone was the same height as Enji. Not finding the dual quirk user anywhere near where you’d been, you began hunting for him. Because the moment you left without telling him first you could only imagine the problems that would cause and the abuse of money that would start.

As you looked around for your boyfriend you wondered about something for a while now, Shoto had never referred to you by your given name, he’d often tap you or stood behind you-- often giving you a near heart attack when you’d turn and almost smack him with your wing.

“Sho, where are you?” you call out a bit as you kept looking around.

Fuyumi waves as she notices you in the hall. “Oh, y/n I was wondering where were, have you seen Shoto?”

Shaking your head, you sigh. “I was just looking for him so I can let him know I was gonna head home.”
