I once again made lore from things that linger in my brain. Enjoy!
Do you ever think about how the universe in all its love for its players pushed back the voids of sky and below to make more space for us to build and create, knowing we can get over any challenge?
The call of the void is a popular real world phenomenon where the need to go deeper that can't be described in any other way. How these living caves are perfectly made for us to continue deeper and deeper with lures and promises of riches and treasures the further down you go. How you can stand at the surface and stare into gaping maws of chasms and no longer see the bottom.
It's how the environment itself gets harder, harsher, and darker closer to the bedrock you go. It steals your life and shows you abandoned ancient cities of the people that came before you.
These ancients likely felt this same pull. The same need to know how far the depths will allow you to go. It makes me wonder if anything else could still be hidden, further forever downwars. Or maybe it has already been consumed.
The sky is another story though.
The higher you go, the more life seemly ceases to exist. The urge changes from going deeper to ever spiralling upwards in attempts of freedom, solitary, or power over those below.
Without the boundaries of the earth expansion seems endless.
But a color or shade does not bind the void.
The depth of the sky is not unfamiliar to the depths of below.
The void is just where the universe ceases to exist. It is encompassing and inescapable.
The void simply allows the universe to have its fun. The universe may be kind but the void rarely ever is.
It continues to call to anyone who can hear.
It can wait.
You'll come to hear its melody eventually.
Inspired by: Fear of Depths by Jacob Geller. Go watch it, its super good. Tw for claustrophobic themes tho.

Welcome to Story Time!
Take a seat, get comfy, it’s story time! I write stuff, sometimes short stories sometimes stories with 8 parts. I usually stick to my fandom’s and my own plots, and I write using my OC’s, BUT I will take requests from my peeps~! You guys are my peeps <3
My stories are mostly SFW with the exception of violent and graphic scenes (Which will have trigger warnings above them!) My only story time rules are don’t say mean things, and please enjoy!

Okay, I'm yet again in my creative writing minecraft feels so:
The idea of a death swap is so intriguing in regard to storytelling. You randomly swap locations with another person. Not even a death swap, but just a swap in general.
Do you even know the person beforehand? Would you have ever even met them? Imagine existing between two locations, two lives shared, between strangers. You could leave little notes and signs, like "The house keys are over there" and "Please take the food out of the oven when the timer rings". maybe you'd try to get to know them. Ask "Who are you?" and "Do you need anything from me?" You'd have to share your lives. What if you're too far away to ever even meet in person? Would you be able to travel with your condition?
And even if it's not necessarily a death swap at the start, eventually it would turn into a death swap. Maybe a prank war escalates. Maybe they do something stupid and you want a bit of revenge. Maybe the frustration of disappearing randomly, even at crucial moments, gets to you. A life split between two places. Two lives split into something chaotic.
And then imagine this: Two immortals, forever bound to share their locations. Swapping places out of control. Both masters of evasion and protection, ready for any challenge at little to no warning. Always on edge, but still somehow surviving. Would you even call that living, always waiting for the time where you're not fast enough? Where your companion is just a little too smart, a little too devious?
Imagine standing witness to that. A person you're talking to, always standing on ledges, ready to fall in. A person who'd swim so far out to sea because they know they're not the one who has to swim back ashore. A person living in constant danger because they know they don't have to survive for long. That soon someone takes their place in this danger.
Wouldn't the uncertainty drive anyone crazy?
So yeah, when you really think about the implications of a death swap challenge, it is quite interesting. Out of all possible challenges, I think this one has a lot more story potential than I thought at first.

Fale_Tsuyoshi has joined the game.
Age: . . .
Species: Dragon Hybrid, Human Decent
Role: Poet, Adventurer, Resident Scaredy Cat, Grandma Friend
[ A full redesign of my Art Sona ]
I plan on using this design more in the future as its become one of my favorites.
On YT in my Minecraft world I'll still be using my old skins, & eventually I'll transition to this design.
If you're wondering what I got on the Soldier Poet King test . . .
There will come a poet
Whose weapon is His word
He will slay you with His tongue . . .
Loneliness. Strength. Joy.
I am powerful, but struggle believing it. I think I am not enough. But here's the truth: I am. I sing songs and hope they carry faith, because I run out of it and yet I still throw my heart out to the world, and hope it makes it through I convince myself that pain is art because at least then, I will always have something to create. I am tired of stumbling through life. I dream of a ground I can stand on. One day, I will dance.
My love is where I feel - without fear.

I have a new sillyest thing I've had to ask my base mate In Minecraft.
"Bad (part of my friend's user name), why is there a sheep in my room?"
Yes, I actually had to ask this. I was dropping something off in my room, then suddenly, red sheep.
It wasn't even related to what my base mate was doing (I.e. getting a pair of cows into our basement since I needed a cow), but it seems in the process they got a sheep in my room... I may need to add a door now to prevent more accidental sheep...

I just want y’all to know that one time during lockdown I played a lot of Minecraft because I had nothing better to do and then later I was going to go into my room after a shower so I could go back to being a hermit but it was dark so I just thought “oop, can’t go in there, there’ll be skeletons spawning there and they’ll shoot at me”
And for LIKE FIVE WHOLE SECONDS I didn’t question it and I just turned on the lights and walked out into the living room to wait it out, just thankful I had my pajamas on already so I didn’t have to fight off the shooty skeletons in my dark closet where there might be some creepers too
And then all of a sudden I was like “Wait what the frig skeletons aren’t real” and then just went back into my room
And I think about that a lot. So if ANY OF YOU dare to think that I have any more than three and a half braincells on a really good day, just please remember this and know that you are sorely mistaken

Souls in the Sand: Concept Art
As I’ve mentioned here and there, I’ve spent the last two years developing an original story inspired by a small Origins+Empires server a few friends and I started planning. The more I developed plans for my empire to be a sprawling overgrown cityscape of ruins and stone framework inspired by the nether, the more I built up this backstory for the character I wanted to play, a small deerfolk boy named Esra. From there, and over months of working and reworking the story and its characters, I’m proud to say I’m coming up on a 100 piece gallery for my Masters Exhibition to display this story in the form of a song-inspired comic, titled: Souls in the Sand.
Over the next month and beyond the date of my exhibition in April, I wanted to start sharing my work here! I thought it would be fitting to first share all of the concept work I did for the characters last semester as I took each character from their old lineup and reworked them from scratch to see if there were any designs I could make more unique or appropriate for the story. This process consisted of four stages: silhouettes, full-body mock-ups, face and head shapes/designs, and experimenting with the final characters’ designs with a set of unique expressions that best fit their personalities and narrative role.
Since each character was reworked separately, the “new” concept lineup is a little disjointed (and some of the characters’ faces actually ended up different from their full-body designs), but I thought it would be fun to line them up to compare the overall cast to their old designs. With each character(s) I post the concept process for, I may share little bits of the work I’m doing or talk a little about their narrative roles as I go, but for now, have Esra!
I know I don’t post original work here often, but I wanted to share parts of this journey with you guys because it’s been very meaningful to me! And I hope all of the work I’ve been doing may at the very least serve as a bit of inspiration or encouragement for us to keep making silly minecraft stories, to keep drawing the characters we love, and to keep being creative in whatever way is meaningful! <3
