Bernard was firmly against Carol's family coming to the North Pole. He liked Carol, don't get him wrong. She was a fantastic Mrs. Claus, and he loved her idea to start an elf school at the Pole. He understood that it was hard to adjust to life at the Pole, especially while she was pregnant. But bringing outsiders there was a big no-no. They were already pushing things by letting Laura, Neil, and Lucy in on the secret of Santa.
But all of his protests fell on deaf ears. Santa wanted Carol to have her family while he was going to be busy, and the other elves just wanted Carol to be happy. It was a thousand against one. So, Santa got into his sleigh and flew to get Carol's parents while the elves fixed up the Pole to look like Canada.
"This is never going to work," Bernard said to Curtis. "There's no way they're going to think this is Canada. Even if they believe these ridiculous store signs, they'll never believe Canada is inhabited by a bunch of children."
"Can you not be so negative for once?" Curtis asked. "It'll be fine."
"We are seriously pushing it with how many people know about the Pole and Santa. You can't blame me for being stressed out over it."
"Everything will be fine, Bernard. We have a plan. We got this."
Bernard huffed a sigh and walked away. He was tired of being brushed off like this. He didn't become head elf for nothing. He knew what he was doing. If only someone would just listen to him.
As he was walking away, he heard something in the distance. He looked up to see Santa's sleigh breaching through the entrance to the Pole. He couldn't see them yet, but he imagined Carol's parents in there, asleep from Sandman's magic, expecting to wake up in "Canada". He cringed to himself. There's really no going back now.
"I need a hot cocoa," he muttered to himself.
The kitchen elves were busy baking away when Bernard walked in. Carol had told them her mom's favorite cookies so they were hard at work making a batch to welcome Mrs. Newman. They were wearing comically large chef's hats pulled down to cover their pointy ears, which made Bernard glad his hair was long enough to do that naturally.
"Hi Bernard," Abby said, giving him a bright smile upon noticing him. "Want a hot cocoa?"
"I'd love one, Abby," he responded, sitting down at one of the tables.
She rushed off to make it for him. He picked up a cookie from a plate in the middle of the table to eat while waiting. Abby returned with his hot cocoa. He blew on it, disturbing the steady steam coming from the drink. He hoped that escaping to the kitchen would give him some time to prepare for Carol's parents.
He was taking his first sip of his hot cocoa when the kitchen doors opened again and in walked Santa, Mrs. Claus and her family in tow. Bernard nearly choked on his drink.
"And here's our kitchen," Santa was saying. "Oh, and Bernard's here too! Bernard is my, uh, he's my...assistant."
Bernard tried not to roll his eyes at the title.
He reluctantly stood and plastered a smile on his face. "Hi, nice to meet you...eh."
Carol's dad shook his hand while her mom pulled him in for an embrace. Bernard wasn't prepared for a third person to approach; a young woman with a smile so beautiful it left him speechless.
"This is my sister," Carol said. "We didn't know she was coming too."
"I'm (Y/N)," the woman said. "Mom and dad mentioned they were coming for a visit, so I asked Scott if it was alright for me to tag along."
"Of course it would be alright!" Sylvia cut in. "Scott's already had Carol from us for so long, he'd never say no to bringing Carol's loving sister with us to finally see her again."
Sylvia had a smile on her face but there was venom in her words. (Y/N) cringed and tried to ignore her mother's comment. "It's really lovely here so far. I'm glad I could come."
Bernard was still tongue tied. He kept opening and closing his mouth like an idiot trying to figure out something to say. (Y/N) was watching him, waiting, while Scott and Carol shared an amused look.
"Let's show you the rest of the place," Carol said, putting an arm around her sister. "We'll meet up with Bernard again later."
(Y/N) smiled and waved goodbye as the group left the kitchen. Once they were gone, Bernard felt like he was freed from a spell. He let out a long breath and slumped back down to the table. His hot cocoa had cooled down enough that he finished the rst of it in two gulps.
~~~~~~
Bernard was up late that night doing his rounds of the workshop. All the other elves had left for the night, but Bernard was often the last one up making sure everything was shut down and nothing was left out of place. With the in laws visiting, he was also making sure the workshop was locked up so no one would accidentally wander in and discover everything.
He was preparing to leave when he noticed the door to the kitchen was slightly ajar. He was sure all the baker elves had left for the night, but maybe someone had stayed behind. He poked his head into the room and almost gasped aloud when he saw it was (Y/N) who was leaning against the counter, a mug of hot cocoa in her hands. She was in her pajamas, clearly preparing for bed. Bernard was about to back away and leave her be, until she looked up form her mug and caught him. She smiled and waved to him.
"Good evening, Bernard," she said.
There was no escaping now. He stepped into the kitchen and cleared his throat, trying not to seem as weird as he had earlier. He discretely made sure his ears were tucked away under his hair.
"Hi," he said. Simple, easy. You can't mess up a "hi".
"What are you doing up so late?" she asked.
"I could ask you the same thing."
She giggled. "Touché. I was having trouble sleeping so I decided to come out for a hot cocoa. That nice baker, Abby I think? She offered to make me one before she left. I was told she makes the best hot cocoa in all of the town."
"Oh, she does. She's the one you go to when you want a good hot drink made."
"She works magic, I'm sure."
Bernard tried not to let his smile falter. "You have no idea."
A silence fell over them. (Y/N) softy blew on her hot cocoa before taking a sip from it. A small trail of foam stuck to her upper lip as she pulled her mug away. Bernard couldn't stop himself from chuckling.
"What?" she asked.
"You just...you have something..." He gestured to his top lip.
She ran a thumb along her top lip, only smearing the foam more.
"Here, let me." Bernard reached up and wiped the foam off with his own thumb. He was suddenly very aware of their closeness when he looked into her eyes. Any words he could ever say were stuck in his throat yet again and he could only imagine how insane he looked, staring at her with wide eyes.
"Thank you," she said. "And thank you for having us here, too. I know it's a busy time of year for you guys. We don't mean to impose."
It took Bernard a moment to remember the story they had been telling Carol's parents: that Scott was a toy maker in Canada and that's why he would be so busy this time of year and needed someone to be there with Carol while she was pregnant.
"It's not imposition," Bernard assured her. "If anything, I think it's going to make Sa - Scott feel better to have you guys here for Carol while he's working."
(Y/N) nodded. "It's very nice of him to have us here considering how my parents tend to treat him."
Bernard thought back to the comment Sylvia had made earlier. The strained relationship between Scott and his in-laws wasn't anything new to him. Scott had mentioned it a few times before, most recently when he was voicing his concerns about bringing Bud and Sylvia to the Pole with Bernard in private. It was evident that both Newman sisters also noticed how their parents treated Scott, and it seemed neither of them were too happy with it.
"I understand why mom and dad get upset," (Y/N) continued. "One minute Carol was a proud principal at the local middle school, and then the next thing we know she's writing us to tell us she got married to a guy we've never even heard of and moved off to Canada to be with him. I mean, even I was skeptical then. But when she'd write to me about Scott and about being here, it was clear that she was so happy and she found the man of her dreams. Who are we to judge the quickness that they got married? As long as she's safe and happy, which she clearly is. But mom and dad don't see it that way. Dad is still convinced that Scott is a cult leader who stole Carol away or something."
(Y/N) paused and looked at Bernard. He had been listening as she spoke, just nodding along and not saying a word. She chuckled a little and shook her head. "Sorry, I'm rambling on about my family drama."
"No! It's-it's fine. Trust me, I've heard similar stuff from Sa - Scott."
She gave him a look. "You keep stuttering on Scott's name."
"Yeah."
He couldn't think of a better explanation besides that. He felt an unfamiliar burning sensation in his cheeks. He wasn't sure if it was embarrassment or just from being so close to her that made him feel that way. She giggled, though; a sound more beautiful than any of the twinkling bells that were often heard around the Pole.
"I'm just glad to be here," she said. "And I'm glad mom and dad can be here for when the baby is born. Maybe that will help them be a little less harsh on Scott."
She finished what was left in her mug and looked around the oversized kitchen. When Bernard realized she was probably trying to figure out where to put the dirty mug, he said, "Oh, I can take care of that for you."
"Are you sure?"
"Of course. You're our guest, and I can handle this."
She smiled and passed him the mug. "Well, thanks for talking to me, Bernard. I guess I should try to sleep again."
"Goodnight, (Y/N)."
"Goodnight, Bernard." She started towards the door, but then paused to turn back to him. "I hope you're not too busy tomorrow. I'd like to spend more time with you."
His face was on fire as she left.
~~~~~~
For the first time in his thousands of years as the head elf, Bernard wasn't concerned with his head elf duties. Of course he was still there if Santa needed him, but he decided not to spend the entire day in the factory and to seek out (Y/N) to spend time with her. She was delighted to see him and was more than happy to accept his offer to show her around "Canada" for the day.
This became a regular occurrence for a few days. Bernard would make sure to check in often to see if he was needed, but if he wasn't he was with (Y/N). He would feel bad about taking her away from her time with her family, but it seemed her parents were more concerned with fussing over Carol than they were about all four of them spending time together. And (Y/N) also assured Bernard that she was making time for Carol and her family as well as spending time with him.
Bernard was more than well aware he was falling in love with (Y/N), and he was also more than well aware of how bad that was. Elves falling in love was nothing new; he had officiated quite a few elf weddings in his time. But falling in love with a human was out of the question. Elves were immortal, humans were not. Scott and Carol were different - upon becoming Santa and Mrs. Claus, their aging processes had slowed down considerably. They weren't completely immortal, but they weren't aging as fast as normal humans did. But that wasn't possible for a human that an elf fell in love with. Even if (Y/N) felt the same way towards Bernard, she would still continue to age while he would stay the same for the rest of time.
But he couldn't stop himself. He was falling fast and hard. Carol's due date was creeping closer, and once it came it would only be a matter of time before the Newman family would have to go back home, meaning that (Y/N) would leave and likely would not come back. That thought hurt Bernard.
Bernard was approaching where (Y/N) was staying one day when she slipped out of the house instead. He was surprised; she had never left before he had gotten there before.
As he got closer he realized that her face was tearstained.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
(Y/N) jumped and turned to look at him. "Oh, Bernard. Sorry, I didn't see you coming. Nothing's wrong."
He was about to point out that she was very obviously upset over something when the door opened again and Sylvia slipped out. She looked like she was about to say something, but she noticed Bernard and gave him a tight smile, one that he had come to learn was very much her fake smile.
"Hello, Bernard," she said. "I was just having a conversation with my daughter. We were talking about spending the day with Carol. We haven't had an all girls day since we arrived. So, unfortunately, I don't think she'll be able to spend time with you today."
"No mom," (Y/N) said. "I said I would join you later for girls time. Besides, you know Carol has an appointment with the doctor. She won't be ready till later."
Her mother was smiling but her eyes were glaring daggers into the younger Newman girl. (Y/N) held the glare before turning to Bernard and taking hold of his arm. She didn't say anything as she dragged him away. He followed anyways, wanting to get as far away from Sylvia as he could.
"God, I don't understand what is wrong with her," (Y/N) said, letting go of Bernard long enough to wipe the tears from her eyes. "I swear she just doesn't want Carol and I to be happy."
"What was she saying?" Bernard asked.
"Oh, she was going off about the fact that I spend so much time with you. Had her usual rant about Scott taking her precious daughter away from her and dad, and then said she'll be damned if she lets it happen with me too. Basically tried to guilt me into not spending time with you today by saying that Carol was upset that she didn't get to see me much, which I know isn't true because just the other day Carol was saying how happy she was that you and I were getting along."
She shook her head. "I'm so sick of it. It's like she can't wrap her head around the fact that maybe, just maybe, life is so busy here that Carol doesn't always have time to visit. It has nothing to do with Scott being manipulative or a cult leader or whatever conspiracy her and dad have cooked up on a certain day."
Bernard listened in silence. He felt bad that (Y/N) had to have these issues with her mother. Carol was hearing it all now, but he was sure (Y/N) heard much more of it when she was back home with her parents.
None of the Newmans could ever understand the way things were with Carol and Scott. They could never know why things were like this, but they likely wouldn't understand even if they knew.
Unless...
It was an idea that shocked even Bernard that he had it. Head elf of the North Pole, Santa's righthand man himself, considering such a thing? After being so against Carol's family coming to the Pole? It was preposterous. But his brain was so clouded by love for (Y/N) that he wasn't thinking proper.
"Come with me," he said. He didn't wait for an answer, just took hold of her hand and pulled her towards the workshop.
His heart was pounding so hard he could feel it in hips pointed ears. He had to remind himself there was no going back. This was going to be huge, and it could likely get him into a world of trouble.
He opened the doors to the workshop and (Y/N) stepped in. She looked around in awe at the working elves, most of which were not hiding their ears as the workshop was supposed to be off limits to the Newmans. None of them seemed to notice the two of them enter, and if they did, nothing was said.
Bernard watched (Y/N), nervously waiting for her reaction.
"Is this...what I think it is?" she asked him. "No, it can't be. I must be dreaming. I fell and hit my head and now I'm in a coma having a very vivid dream that all of these small people who are supposed to be Canadians have pointed ears like they're elves."
When she looked over at him, Bernard had taken off his hat and allowed his ears to peak out from under his hair.
"I've lost it," she decided.
"You haven't," he assured her. "All of this is real. It's why Carol hasn't been able to visit as much, or why you couldn't visit until now. Look, there's so much to know about all of this. So much that I want to tell you but technically I can't because there are strict rules about humans knowing about the North Pole."
(Y/N) had another quick moment of shock that she was able to very quickly recover from. "Rules that you're currently breaking by showing me...Santa's workshop. By admitting that you're an elf, these are all elves...oh my God, my sister is Mrs. Claus."
"It is all very complicated," he said. "But you deserve to know that Carol is truly happy here. She's not being held against her will, Santa isn't manipulative or holding her captive. He loves her so much that he risked you and your parents finding out about him - about us - so that all of you could be here for her while she's pregnant."
(Y/N) still seemed to be stunned. She looked around the bustling factory again, her eyes wide with wonder.
"Wait," she said. "But...if you all went through so much to make us think this was Canada, to keep who Scott is a secret...then why are you telling me now?"
Because I love you. Because I want you to stay. Because I want to be with you more than anything, even though I know that will never happen.
"Because I want you to know the truth," he replied. "About all of this. About...about me."
She was looking at him. He didn't know what else to say, so he just looked back. He waited for an answer. He willed her to say something, anything.
She didn't say anything, though. Instead, she leaned forward and kissed Bernard. It was quick, almost hesitant, and when she pulled away she looked embarrassed.
"Sorry," she said. "I...should I have done that? I should've asked first. Was it okay that I did that?"
He smiled. "It was more than okay."
"Okay. I'm...I'm going to do it again, if that's still okay."
Bernard chuckled and moved in to kiss (Y/N) first. He had only ever kissed one person before - when he was young one of the other elves had gave him a quick peck on the lips and ran away afterwards. Not exactly something glamorous or anything like that. So he was a little worried about whether or not he was a good kisser. Although, something felt so natural about kissing (Y/N), like he could never do it wrong even if he tried.
He paused when he realized a slight hush had fallen over the workshop. He and (Y/N) pulled away to see that all the working elves had stopped what they were doing to look at the two of them.
"Back to work!" Bernard commanded. They all quickly fell back into what they had been doing before. "Bunch of gossips, all of them. Everyone in town will know about this by nightfall."
"I don't blame them. I'd assume it's not every day that they see an elf kissing a human."
He chuckled. "No, I guess not."
They decided to step out of the workshop to talk more in private. (Y/N) looped her arm through Bernard's as they walked, a gesture that suddenly felt much more intimate than it had before.
"I guess it goes without saying that I can't tell anyone about this," she said. "Not even my parents."
"No. Which I know is a big ask, but we can't have the secret of Santa going around," Bernard explained.
"Not like anyone would believe me. They'd think I was crazy if I went home talking about how my brother in law is Santa and how I started crushing on one of his elves. They'd sent me to an institute for sure."
Bernard smiled at her word choice. So she had liked him this whole time, too. Had it been obvious? Or had she been trying to contain it just as much as he did?
"How...would things work...for us then?" she asked.
It was the question he was dreading. The one he continued to ask himself despite knowing the answer to: it wouldn't. He couldn't let (Y/N) hold on to him when she left the Pole. She'd likely never see him again, which was for the best.
Seeing the look on his face, (Y/N) stopped. "No, do not tell me it's not going to work."
"It can't work, (Y/N). There's too much complications between a human and an elf being romantically linked. It's never happened before, and for good reason."
"There's a first for everything."
He shook his head. "No, there can't be a first for this. I can't let you throw away any other romantic opportunities you have for me. We may never see each other after this visit."
"My sister is married to Santa. There's no way I'm not coming back after this. And besides, long distance relationships are a thing."
"This one would be...very long distance."
She slid her arm from his and took his hand in hers. "I'm willing to try. I like you too much to give up without a fight."
Every rational part of his brain was screaming for him to stop. He could not let things go further. It was better for her if they ended everything after that first kiss and went hteir separate ways.
But the less rational part of his brain was louder than the rest, telling him not to give up this chance at happiness outside of work. He deserved to love and to be loved, just like anyone else in the world. If it worked for Scott, it had to work for him too, right?
He sighed and squeezed her hands. "It won't be easy."
"I don't expect it to be."
"You won't be able to be here a lot unless you're willing to give up everything the way Carol did."
"That's fine, we can make that work."
"And if you do end up coming here permanently, you can't tell anyone who I really am, or who Scott and Carol really are. You'll have to lie to everyone in your life. Is that something you can be okay with?"
(Y/N) stepped closer to him so that their noses were nearly touching. "I'm already lying about Scott and Carol. What's one more lie about the man I love?"
Love.
It was enough for him to abandon all hope at resisting her. He closed the space between them, kissing her again so passionately that it made her head spin. She wrapped her arms around his neck to steady herself, while he wrapped his arms around her waist.
He could've kissed her forever. He could've stood there, wrapped around her and her wrapped around him, the cold nipping at them but barely bothering them, forever. He wanted to take this moment and freeze it, to never have to go back to his busy life as Santa's right hand elf ever again.
But she pulled away first, resting her forehead against his.
"I did promise my mom a girl's day," she said with a sigh. "And I think if I blow her off for this, she'll probably actually kill me."
"I guess I'll have to let you go then."
But he didn't, and she didn't let go of him. They laughed and kissed again.
It would be another several minutes before he would finally (and reluctantly) let her go.

Don't Tell Sarah
Pairing: fem!reader x no outbreak!joel miller
Description: You're visiting family on your spring break when you make an unexpected reunion with your best friend's dad, Joel.
Warnings: MINORS DNI! This post is 18+
No outbreak, age gap (reader in early 20's, Joel in early 50's), unprotected p in v, pet names (no use of y/n), fingering, cream pie, squirting
Word Count: 3k
As your plane lands, you quickly switch your phone off of airplane mode to check your texts. Your brother is supposed to pick you up, but he always forgets these things.
‘Are you here??’, you quickly text him as you start to gather your belongings.
Before you stand up, you remember to text your best friend and roommate, Sarah, that you've made it safely.
You make your way off the plane and into the terminal to head towards baggage claim. When you finally exit the airport, you see him, your brother who you haven't seen in months. He somehow grew a beard.
“Jeez, took you long enough to get out here,” he pokes. “They made me move my car twice.” You give him a quick side hug before he takes your bag and loads it into his trunk.
The drive was long, between the Austin Airport and your childhood home, but it was nice to catch up on all the family drama you missed while away at college.  It's your junior year, and this is the first time you've come back to see your family. Most of your classmates are on beaches in Miami, or taking breaks in Italy, but this is how you chose to spend your spring break.
A text from Sarah snaps you away from the conversation.
‘So glad you're safe! When you have time, don't forget to bring that gift to my dad!’
You already almost forgot. Sarah had crafted a mug for her father, detailed with a large owl on the side of it. She was a talented artist, and was excited to gift this to her father when she saw him next. Unfortunately, she had to stay behind this time to finish up a project for her internship.
‘I'll make sure he gets it!’ you type back and set your phone down.
It had been years since you had seen Joel. You grew up with Sarah as your best friend, with many late nights at her house. It'll be good to see him again. Just as good as seeing your own family even.
You make it back to your family's house and exchange greetings with your parents. Your mom has planned out your entire week while you're there. Sunday brunch, dinner with extended family on Tuesday, and so forth. It'll be good to reconnect and spend time together after being apart for so long.
Monday rolls around, and your mom only had plans for the morning. It was getting to be late in the afternoon when you decide to head over to Joel's.
“Can I borrow your car?” you ask your brother. “I have to go bring a gift over to Joel from Sarah.”
He shrugs and throws the keys to you. “Don't wreck it,” he jokes as you head out the door.
Joel's house wasn't far from your family's, but with rush hour starting, the traffic was awful. When you finally make it, you find yourself nervously walking up the steps. You've never felt this flustered around him before. Perhaps it's just that it's been so long? That must be it.
You knock a few times before he answers.
“No! Is that really you?” he exclaims when the door finally opens. “Sarah said you'd be by this week, and I'm so glad she was right! Look how beautiful you are.” He gives your body a quick scan, but you can't quite tell his intentions with it. His hair had grayed out a bit, but otherwise really has not aged at all since you last saw him.
“I just got off work and was about to shower,” he starts. “But if you want to come have a seat, I'll just be 10 minutes.”
You make your way into their front sitting room. Everything is exactly as you remember it from your childhood. Sure, he's gotten new furniture, but the pictures and decorations are exactly as Sarah had left them.
He walks back down the stairs with a clean pair of jeans and a dark gray t shirt on. His hair messy from a quick towel dry, and his scent strong from his woodsy cologne, you forget for a split second that he's your friend's dad; no having thoughts like this about him!
“You want some coffee?” He gestures towards the kitchen.
Of course, how did you already forget what you were here for? “Coffee sounds great!” You follow him into the kitchen. “Actually, I'm here because I have a gift from Sarah for you.” You beam, and pull the box holding the mug from your bag. “She made it and was really excited for you to have it.”
He opens the box and pulls out the hand-crafted mug. “That girl,” he starts, but trails off. He smiles as he turns it around in his hands, almost as if he's inspecting every angle. “We should get her on the phone.” He states after a moment.
You pull out your phone and dial her number to video chat. “Guess what?” you ask, quizitively when she answers. “He loves it!” You face the phone over to him. The three of you talk for a while, sipping cup after cup of coffee until it's nearly dark outside.
“Well,” you sigh. “I shouldn't keep you any longer.” You start to get your bag.
“It has gotten pretty late,” Joel shrugs. “Did you want to stay for dinner? Since it's late, I was thinking I'd just order delivery.”
You take a moment to actually consider, before deciding to stay. You quickly text your mom. ‘Hey I'm staying for dinner at Joel's. I'll be back later tonight :)’
After a few moments, he sets down his phone and says, “Well, delivery said it'll be here in 45 minutes. Wanna watch a movie?”
You nod and follow into the living room. He puts on some action movie. You haven't seen it before, but it seems extremely predictable in what will happen next. As the movie goes on, you find yourself inching closer to him. When you're close enough, you lean your head on his shoulder. He jolts a little at this motion, and turns slightly to face you. You have know idea what's gotten into you, you've never had feelings like this towards Joel. He just… the way he looked over you when you first got here, and how fresh he was after the shower. Ugh, and how he smells now. You can hardly contain yourself. You lean your face towards him and to your surprise, he does the same. Before you even have the chance to think, you kiss him. You jump back a little bit, and lock into the most uncertain eye contact you've ever experienced.
You start to stutter. “I don't… I didn't… I… I’m sorry, I didnt…” But before you can get any real sentence out, he kisses you again. This time with more passion. You kiss him back, and don't stop this time. Your tongue slides into his mouth, and his into yours. He tastes so good. At this, you decide to swing yourself up onto his lap, straddling his legs. Oh God, he’s so hard. Without even questioning what sort of boundaries should be in place, you start to grind down on him just ever so slightly.
“Fuck,” he whispers, then let's out a grown. He grabs both sides of your waist and gently bucks his hips up into you. He slows down after this, pulls back, and whispers, “Are you okay with this? I don't want to cross any boundaries.”
Oh God, what would Sarah think? Never mind about her right now. “Yes,” you breathe out, nodding your head. “Yes, please Joel,” you manage to get out before starting to slowly grind on him again.
He feels his way up and down your body. Grazing your back with his palms, circling around to grip onto your waist, neck and, jaw at times. After a moment of this, you guide his hand up under your shirt, and slip it off over your head. He plays around with your tits through your bra, before reaching around and unclasping it in the back. You're sooo glad you matched your bra with your thong today. He groans at the sight of your newly freed tits, your nipples hard against the cool air. He pinches them first before going immediately to suck on them. He sucks and pinches and bites until each breast has been thoroughly loved. Still grinding on his hard dick through his jeans, you reach your hand down and ask, “Can I take this out, Joel?”.
He considers for just a moment before nodding. “You sure you want this baby?” he asks, genuinely.
“Yes Joel, fuck, I want it so bad,” you manage to stutter out.
“Okay baby girl, I’ll give you this dick, but there's only one rule.” he stops completely, waiting for your full attention. “You don’t ever tell Sarah.”
Fuck, you have to stop thinking about Sarah. She can't know, it would break her. You nod your head, “I promise, I won't tell her,” you whine. He grabs onto your hair at the back of your head, and pulls you down closer to his face.
“Say, ‘I promise Sarah will never find out about this, Joel’” he says into your ear. You repeat the words back to him. “Good girl,” he spits out before letting go of you.
He kisses you again, more sloppy this time, and slowly starts to un-button his jeans. Your hands immediately go to help, and you finally get a feel of his hard cock. It’s so fucking huge, so thick and long. You pull it out completely and immediately start feeling it up and down.
“Hm-mm,” he shakes his head. “You take these off first.” He gestures to the leggings you had thrown on to come over here. You oblige, remove yourself from his lap, and hook your thumbs into your own waistband. You slowly slide them down until they reach your ankles, and kick them off to the side. You stand there for a moment, Joel observing you, the only light from the movie still playing behind you. “Turn around for me,” he commands. As soon as you do so, he grabs onto your ass, gently squeezing, then pulls you in closer to him. He kisses your ass cheeks, then your thighs, then wraps his arm around your waist and slowly goes to feel your mound. His large hand gives it a squeeze before yanking your thong down until it falls to the floor.
“You're such a little slut,” he let's out a short laugh. “Really gonna let your best friend's dad fuck you.”
You giggle slightly at this, but really, he needs to stop reminding you that he's Sarah's dad. She would kill you if she ever found out. “Joooel,” you playfully groan. At this, he slaps your ass, hard. You jolt a little bit, but allow him to continue. He wraps his arm around the front of you again, hand going straight to your cunt. He sits on the edge of the couch, holding you close to him. His finger slides up and down your folds, making you jump when he grazes over your clit.
“You like that, do you?” he teases.
You nod your head aggressively and let out a quick “mm-hmmm, give me more Joel.”
“Oh I'll give you more,” he says with a tone you've never heard in his voice. He sounds possessive, so dominant. He starts circling around your clit with his fingers. “Fuck, I love your wet pussy,” he groans. “Let me taste it.”
He doesn't wait for you to give any permission before he spins you around and immediately starts licking through your folds. Kissing and sucking on your clit, and moving down to fuck you with his tongue. Fuck, it feels so good. You start to have a hard time standing up. Your vision starts to blur, fuck, you're so close to finishing. “Fuck… Joel!” You moan loudly, unable to contain yourself. “I'm gonna… I'm!” But before you can come, he completely lets off of you and pulls you down to straddle his lap again. “Fuck” you scream. You were so fucking close.
“Not yet, baby girl,” he jides. “Not yet, not till I say you can.” He let's out a devilish laugh at you.
Before you can even protest, he slides two fingers up into you. He slides them in and out several times before going right to your spongy G spot. He plays around for a moment before finally saying “Now you're gonna ride my dick baby, you got it? Be a good girl for daddy?”
You moan and nod your head. He pulls his fingers out of you and lifts up his massive cock. Lining it up to your entrance for you, you smash down hard onto it. Lifting yourself and slamming down again, over and over. Your cunt takes every inch of him, like it was made just to fit. You start to move faster and faster on his dick, until you're basically twerking with it inside you.
“Yessss,” he hisses out. “Yes baby, fuck, your tight little pussy feels so- ah, so good on my fat. cock.” Suddenly he holds onto your hips, pulling you down and making it hard to keep going. Now you get it, he's trying to edge himself too. With you now sitting still, but his dick still inside you, he decides to pay attention to your throbbing cunt. He takes a finger first and rubs gentle circles around your clit. Listening to your soft moans and whimpers, he starts whispering in your ear.
“Yes that's a good girl,bbaby. Love when I play with you like that, huh? Your wet little cunt so tight around my dick.”  This is all you need. His fingers speed up on your clit, and he bucks his hips up ever so slightly. He keeps whispering those sweet words into your ear until finally, “Come for me baby. Come all over this big cock.”
You let out a moan at this. “Fuck daddy, I'm so. fucking. close.” you let out with a shriek. His fingers working you over so quick on your clit. “Fuck I'm gonna-” your words break off. You squeeze your eyes shut, and can only hear the blood rushing through your ears. You don't know if you scream, or curse, or moan. All you know is that you completely shatter. Your cum bursts out, encasing his entire dick in the thick liquid.
When you finally regain your senses, you make a quick eye contact with Joel. “How was that baby?” he asks, with just a touch of shyness. “Do you think you could keep going?”
Fuck, absolutely you could keep going. You need him to come inside you. You need it so bad.
You nod your head aggressively at him. “Please. Please keep going Joel.”  He gives you several long kisses before weaving his arms around you, and flipping you so that you're on all fours on the sofa. After a moment of him admiring your body, every shape and curve, he sticks a few fingers into your hole, feeling his way around before abruptly removing them. He lines up his cock again and slowly slides it in. He does this several times before picking up his pace. A low groan escapes his mouth.
“Can't believe I'm fucking this tight little pussy. So- tight around my cock,” he says, breathlessly before letting out another groan. “Wanna- come inside it baby. Can I fill you up with daddy’s cum?”
You moan. “Fuck yes, come inside me daddy,” you whine. “Fill me up, give it all to me.” You're seconds from coming again when he decides to pick up the pace even further. His pelvis slamming into your ass, and balls coming up to graze against your clit are enough to make you go insane. You're moaning now with every thrust, his calloused fingers holding tighter and tighter onto your hips.
Suddenly, you feel your walls clamp down onto him, and you come again. This time your heat spreading all over the front of him and down onto the couch. Still in your euphoric state, you hear him shout “fuck!”, before completely unraveling inside you. His hot ropes of cum pumping inside of you, being forced further and further up. He finishes completely and pulls out slowly.
“Here, let me go get a towel for you,” he says, but before he can get the chance to move, you sit up and catch the cum that drips out of your entrance. You want the rest to stay in you, as a reminder for the rest of the night. You teasingly bring your fingers up to your mouth and suck each of them clean. His mouth opens slightly, and once you've swallowed all of it down, he gives you several long, passionate kisses.
“You're so sexy,” he says quietly, still observing your every move.
“Can we do this again before I leave?” you ask.
“Ahh baby girl, yes of course we can. Just don't tell Sarah,” he gives a wink at the end of this thought.
The two of you eat your dinner, which had been sitting on the porch for some time. Apparently the driver knocked a while ago, and you didn't even hear it. Once finished, you say your goodbyes and head back to your family's house.
“Jee, what took you all night?” your brother prods when you enter the front door.
“We just were on video call with Sarah and got carried away,” you say with a teasing look.
“Oh that's a relief, I was starting to think you two were fucking,” he jokingly wipes sweat off his forehead.
You flip him off as you walk to your old bedroom to start getting ready to shower. He has no idea how right he is. You look down at your phone and see a text from Sarah. You curse to yourself before reading.
Hey thanks again for making that visit to my dad. I know he’s been a little lonely without me there so I bet he really appreciates the company. Love you girl.  ‘Don't tell Sarah,’ you think to yourself over and over again. She can never find out about this.

Docs vacation to Quesadilla Island!
Tumblr media
So I watched Docm77 last Hermitcraft season 9 episode today and RAN to make this.
More so on the topic!
He needed to take a break and get his creative juices flowing? What's a better break (nightmare) than to come enjoy the island for a short while!
I've been spinning around the idea of Qsmp and Hermitcraft crossover since the start of Qsmp. There's so many ideas in my brain about this topic even though it'll never actually happen! I'm so sorry, but some things are bound to get out of my daydreams and materialize into doodles!
I think Doc would LOVE the eggs! Not to mention all the cute creatures they'd show him! He'd get attached instantly, they're too adorable!
I could only fit 3 here without making it too busy, but I wanna expand on what I could see the interactions being. Massive ramblings, often grammatically incorrect ahead:
Sunny - now we all know she's a material princess, they'd love Docs bedtime stories about the diamond pillar wars and his incredible contraptions made of diamond in the Perimeter and all the riches he had. Now Tubbo not only has Pierre to watch out for, but Doc also, cause Sunny would beg him to make stuff out of diamonds to show off!
Empanada - she'd clock in instantly that Doc is a German and would try speaking to him in German every moment she got. Now she has both her mom Niki and Doc to talk in her language to! It's not much of an expansion, but she appreciates it a lot! They'd have many delightful conversations and Doc is always happy to have her build little things together. They learn from each other!
Ramon - besides finally having another redstone genius with an entire Hivemind on the server, Ramon would be interested in how Doc works - both in a cyborg way and in the way he creates mind-blowing, game breaking contraptions. If they're not destroying the server together for fun, they're not making the most of their time! Jk, but it do be nice when both of them get to hang out and show each other what they discovered that's scuffed on the server.
Some eggs that aren't drawn:
Chayanne - finally! Another farmer came around! Chayanne would show off his impressive potato farm and cooking skills to Doc, who will always be amazed at the kids dedication! Doc can finally have his tomato farm in a Minecraft world now, since the mods allow it! It is too free for everyone to use
Tallulah - If she would show Doc the incredible builds she made and her and her papas place, he would be moved to tears! Everything is made with such love and incredible amounts of effort and thought! From her farm of all possible plants, to her garden and to El Cielo De Las Tortugas. Such incredible places to visit and appreciate! And Tallulahs amazing way of storytelling would only serve to amplify those feelings
Dapper - now besides trying cage trap Doc 1000x times, Dapper would definitely show off everything he got once he discovers that Doc is deeply amused and surprised by all the non vanilla things! They would invite Doc to their base to show everything and I mean EVERYTHING there is for show. It's definitely too much, but Doc is very impressed by her and would praise how much work she puts in! Dapper do be the definition of GRIND!
Leo - Leo and her dads made so many incredible builds, Doc would be amazed at how much they did in such a short time! Besides that Leo herself is an incredibly, theatrically even, good at body language and expression! He'd die of cuteness and laughter like all of us already do!
Pomme - we all know that Pomme has so many talents! From being a little musician, to an incredible warrior, to a thought out builder and a spectacularly emotional writer. There's a lot Doc will have to slowly discover about Pomme! And each time the scale and depths of things will get more and more impressive, because the share amounts of time and effort she puts into her creations, passions and loved ones is massive!
Pepito - this kid! Pepito is such an incredible character to be around! Pepito is so dedicated to whatever Pepito does, especially if it's with friends! Whenever Pepito has fun, it always radiates outwards in many different ways! You can't really help yourself but get charged up with energy when you're around. And Doc does just that!
Richarlyson- Richas is a lot in the best ways possible! But we all know he's very much a jokester, he wouldn't miss a beat trying to mess with the goat! And once he finds out what kinds of retaliations Docs is capable of? OH IT'S WAR (for fun, cause that's what it's all about!)
I'm sorry if this is chaotic at some parts or lacking in others, I have to write this all in one go before my battery dies. I haven't been able to watch many streams so I'm sorry if Im not up to date with the characters, but that is what I remember them as! Any corrections or lore updates are always welcome! I want to learn more, especially now that I can't watch!
Anyhow, now that I look back on that drawing why do I feel like I've done something terrible.... I've seen those designs before......

PRINCE HARRY
Tumblr media
"I hate flying, Harry." I say picking at my fingers, "I always get so nervous." I look around at the busy airport.
"Hey. Hey. Look at me." Harry cups my cheeks with his hands, "Breathe. Take a deep breathe, love. I'll be with you the whole time, okay."
I take a deep breathe and smile at him, "Okay."
He kisses the top of my head and pulls me into him, holding me as we wait in line, "Just breaths, baby. It'll be over before you know it."
——
We board the plane and take our seats and Harry immediately takes my hand into his. His thumb strokes the back of my hand as he quickly texts his mom that were on the flight.
He puts his phone back in his pocket and shifts to look at me, "Are you excited to see my mom again?" I nod and smile, "I love your mom." He smiles, "She loves you, so does Gem. They're always asking me about you."
"Really?" I smile, "They're such nice people." I bounce my leg as the plane starts to take off.
"So, I was thinking.." he tucks hair behind my ear and leans in. He motions for me to lean in closer to him, so I do.
"We could have some fun while we're visiting home."
I tilt my head, "Oh yeah, for sure! You know the place best, babe."
He shakes his head and smirks, "No, no baby. Fun."
"Oh." I raise my eyebrows, "Oh!" I bite my lip and smile, "Like what?" He smirks, "Well, I thought that maybe you can wear that cute little dress we got you, to dinner one of the nights."
"Okay?" I question, trying to get him to say what he wants to say.
"And maybe.." he draws lines up and down my arm with his finger, "No panties."
I nod slowly, "I like that idea." He leans in and kisses my cheek, "I have some other ones, but.." he lays his head back, a curl falling down over his forehead, "You'll just have to wait and be surprised."
I shake my head and laugh, playing with his fingers for a little while before I fall asleep on his shoulder.
——
"Hey, y/n. Wake up, love." Harry plays with my hair gently, "Baby. We're here."
I slowly blink open my eyes and lift my head from his shoulder, "Did-" I yawn, "Did I sleep the whole time?" I look over at him and he nods, "Yeah."
"Oh Harry, I'm sorry. Why didn't you wake me up?"
He shakes his head, "You weren't stressing out about the plane, plus you just looked so peaceful, I couldn't disturb you." He leans over and puckers his lips. I smile and kiss him, "I'm so excited."
He nods, "Me too. Me too."
We get off the plane and wait for our luggage, "Where is it? I'm starving."
"Mom will have dinner ready by the time we get there. I promise." He pulls me closer and I lean against him, resting my head on his chest. I perk up when I see our bags come around, "There they are."
Harry walks up and grabs the bags for us and we head out to the car.
"Your mom didn't have to get a car for us, we could have.. figured it out." I look over at him and he takes my hand, "It's a very special occasion."
"Oh gosh. Now I'm even more anxious." I bite my lip and he shakes his head, "Don't be. Just relax."
"No, Harry. You have to tell me." I beg.
He sighs and leans over, "I'm going to see how many time I can make you cum at dinner." He whispers lowly and my cheeks go red and I bite my lip, "O-oh."
He pecks my cheek and looks out the window.
——
"Ah! There she is!" Anne says running up to me. She wraps her arms around me, "How are you sweetheart?" I smile and lean back, "I'm good. You look great! How are you?"
She smiles, "Better now that I get to see you guys for a few days!"
"Hello to you too mom" Harry says walking over and setting the bags down. He hugs her and she laughs, "Oh you know I'm just as excited to see my baby boy."
She looks at me and shakes her head slightly with a laugh.
"You already replaced me as the favorite." Harry smiles as he shakes his head.
I smile and Anne walks me inside with her arm around me, "So. How was the flight?" I shrug, "I slept for most of it. I was nervous so I wasn't bothered by it."
"And how is this one treating you?" She nods at Harry with a smile, "Well, I hope"
"Don't worry, mom. I'm taking very good care of her." smirks and winks at me. I raise my eyebrows and tilt my head slightly.
"That's great to hear. Every time I talk to Harry it's always about how much he loves you." Anne smiles and shakes her head, "Hoping one day I can call you my official daughter in law."
I smile and look over at Harry, "I'd be honored to have you as my mother in law, Anne."
She smiles and looks around, "I'm going to go find Gem. She's excited you were coming." She walks away and I walk over to Harry, playfully hitting his arm, "Please don't embarrass me in front of your mother, Harry."
He laughs and plays dumb, "I don't know what you're talking about. I was just telling her that I take care of you.." he smirks, "Which I do."
I roll my eyes and look up at him, "You're lucky I love you."
"Yeah, yeah." He kisses my head, "I love you. This week will be fun, okay?"
"Family festivities fun or Harry fun?"
He shrugs and smiles as he looks up, "What's up, Gem?"
She walks over and hugs Harry, "Hey." She turns to me, "I'm glad you made it here safe. Hey, y/n." She hugs me and steps back, "He's treating you good, right? If not I'll have to kick his-"
"No worries, no worries. She's well taken care of." Harry smiles and slips a hand into my back pocket, giving my ass a little squeeze.
"Why don't you guys go up and get settled, dinner will be ready soon." Anne yells from the kitchen.
"Okay mom." Harry yells back, "Come on." He grabs my hand and pulls me with him.
He leads me up to the steps to the room we stayed in multiple times before.
"Should I wear the dress or cas-"
Harry spins me around and presses his lips to mine. His hand pushes the door shut and he wraps his arms around me.
"Harry." I whisper, but it doesn't get his attention, "Harry." I try to push him away but he slips a hand in my pants and starts to rub my clit, "Oh fu-"
He covers my mouth with his hand, "You have to be very, very quiet, baby."
I nod and close my eyes as his fingers work in small circles. My moans are muffled by his hand and I dig my fingers into his arm.
"I want to feel you around my cock so bad." He nips my ear and i whimper, "But that'll have to wait for now."
He pulls his hand out of my jeans and unbuttons them, "But I will have a quick little taste if that's alright with you."
I nod and step out of my jeans. He walks me backwards to the bed, his arm around my waist as he sets me down, "Stay quiet."
He dips his head between my legs and my hands slaps against my mouth. I arch my back off the bed as his tongue works between my folds.
I moan and press my hands harder against my mouth.
He grips my hips and pins them down, moaning lowly against me. I drop a hand down to the bed and grip at the blanket.
I bite my lip and my eyes roll back as I fight off moaning. I squeeze my thighs together and grip his hair, "Mm." I bring a hand up to cover my mouth again as my orgasm takes over.
My legs fall limp to the sides as Harry leans back. He pushes his hair back and smirks at me. I shake my head and smile.
He pulls me up and kisses me, my taste still on his lips, "Good girl." He whispers, "Let's see how you do during dinner."
——
I ended up wearing the dress.
The dress with no panties under it.
I'm three glasses of wine deep and working on a fourth.
"Y/N sweetie, how's your mom doing?" Anne asks setting her glass down. I nod and smile, "She's good. Her business is starting to take off. She's getting more clients everyday she's open."
"She does beautiful work, I was looking at her page, she deserves it. She's an amazing artist." Gemma says sipping her drink.
I smile and Harry slips a hand under dress and rests it on my thigh, "Um, yeah. She definitely dedicates a lot of time to it."
"She's very deserving of it, then." Gemma smiles, "I'm going to clear these plates and then we can talk more." She gets up and grabs a few dishes.
"Oh here let me-" I go to stand up but Anne waves me to sit back down, "No, no. You're a guest, please. Sit back down."
I nod and look over at Harry who has a smirk plastered on his face, "Hi."
I bite my lip and shake my head.
He leans in, "You know you want it." He moves closer to me and his hand slides further up. I grip the table and spread my legs slightly.
"That's my girl." He whispers as his fingers slide up and down my slit. I close my eyes and keep my lip between my teeth.
He works his fingers in and out slowly.
I can feel him watching me, getting a rise out of doing this.
"Harry, sweetie." Anne says causing me to jump, "Can you come get this dish off the top shelf for me?"
Harry nods and pulls his hand out, "Of course." I hear Anne walk away and Harry fingers his fingers to his mouth, wrapping his lips around them.
I watch as he slowly pulls them out and smirks, "We're not done."
He gets up and walks into the kitchen and I sit there trying to collect myself.
"So." Gemma says walking in and sitting across from me, "Anything new with you?" I shake my head, "Still hate flying, but we're here."
She laughs, "I get that. Once you do it so many times it just becomes.. a normal thing? I don't know. It definitely gets easier."
"Okay. Dessert!" Anne says walking in. She sets cake down on the table and Harry sets the plates down. "Oh my, that looks so good." I lean forward and set my glass down.
"It does. Doesn't it." Harry looks at me and gives me a wink. I smile slightly and shake my head.
He walks back over and sits down next to me, close like before. His hand goes back to my thigh and his thumb gently brushes against my skin.
Anne hands out the plates of cake, "Thank you." I say, picking up my fork. Anne walks over to give Gemma one and sits down.
Harry slips his hand higher up and I spread my legs again, "So, mom." Harry says, "What are you plans for this week?"
"We'll, I'm definitely taking y/n shopping. I need some time with her. I've missed her dearly." Anne smiles at me.
I smile back and try to keep my composure as Harry circles my clit with his finger, "Sounds.. fun. Im always down for shopping."
"Yeah, it's ridiculous sometimes." He says shaking his head.
"Oh you only say that because you're a man." Gemma teases, "If you were a woman, you know very well you'd be in the shops looking around too."
Harry shrugs and laughs, "Probably." He works his finger back into me and I rest my thumb on my mouth.
"There's no rush to get up in the morning either, whenever everyone gets up is when we'll start the gift giving. I know how it is flying from all the way over there to here." Anne says, "You guys need your rest."
"Yeah, I'll probably turn in early." Harry works another finger in.
"I don't know." I say fighting a smirk, "I feel pretty alright right now. I mean I'm sure it'll hit me later on, though."
"Oh it most definitely will." Gemma says, "That jet lag is a killer."
Harry nods, "Yeah, it's a very rough time." His glances over at me and pulls his hand out.
——
Harry checks his phone and lets out a, very fake, yawn, "I'm going to head up to bed." He kisses my cheek and takes his arm from around my shoulder, "Come up whenever."
He gives his mom a kiss on the cheek and walks towards the steps. I look over my shoulder at him and he gives me a wink.
I smile and look back at Anne, "We're so happy to have you here, y/n."
"I'm happy to be here, Anne." I look at the fire place and finish my wine, "I appreciate that you enjoy me being around."
"Of course, sweetie. Now why don't you get up to bed. We have a big day tomorrow!" She reaches over and pats my shoulder, "You'll always be welcome here. You're the best thing to happen to Harry and I appreciate you loving him the way you do."
"He's the best thing that's happened to me. I really do love him." I smile and stand up. I grab my wine glass and take it out to the kitchen before I head upstairs.
I slowly open the door and step in. The room is dark, but some candles that are lit, "Harry?" I question as I shut the door.
He steps out from what I'm guessing is the bathroom and walk over to me, "About time you came up."
"Yeah, me and your mom were.." he leans down and kisses my neck, "Talking." I breathe out.
"I want you so bad." He mumbles against my neck, "Thinking of how wet you are.." he kisses up my neck and grabs my ass to pull me closer, "I need to feel you."
I wrap my arms around his neck as he lifts me up and walks over to the bed, "Quiet, baby." He whispers as he kisses down my neck.
He takes the towel off his waist and pushes my dress up, "Fuck." He groans as he pumps his cock a few times. I spread my legs and he positions himself between my knees.
He looks down at me as he slides in, "Harry." I breathe out, "Fuck."
"Shh." He groans leaning down to kiss me. I moan into his mouth and he brings his hand up and lays his palm to my lips.
He starts to thrust faster, biting his lip and tilting his head back. He reaches his other hand up and grips the headboard, "fuck." He curses quietly.
His hair hangs down over his face and his lips part. I lay a hand over his mouth and close my eyes as I can feel myself getting closer to cuming.
I wrap my legs around his waist and arch my back off the bed, moaning into his hand and grabbing the sheets with the other one.
He leans up and grips my hips, "You're so beautiful." He bites his lip and continues thrusting. I smile as I watch him, biting my lip to contain the moans I want to scream out.
He leans down, "I love you."
"I love you." I kiss him and run a hand through his hair, "I love you so much." I whimper and clench around him as he makes me cum a second time, "Fuck."
He kisses down my neck and groans, "Y/N.. fuck.." he pulls out and whimpers into my neck which is so fucking hot.
He leans up after keeping his head on my shoulder for a few minutes, "Hold on." He grabs his towel and gently wipes off my body.
He lays down next to me and pulls the cover over us, "I want to start a family with you."
I turn my head slightly, "Really?"
"Why do you sound so surprised?" He asked with a chuckle.
"I'm not, I want to, too. I just- with the band and everything I wasn't sure if now would be a good time, you know?" I roll over to face him, "You really want to?"
He nods and kisses my nose, "I do."

Somewhere With You ~ a sneak peak
so here's a lil snippet of part 4 of How Long! I am still working out the kinks and shit. I'm not 10000% when it'll be posted, and these parts may be reworked, but it's coming SOON. I promise. but I'm giving you two lil snippets. I know you guys have been waiting forever. so here's a little bit of what's to come! pardon if there's any grammar or spelling mistakes btw!
here's a cute gif of smoochie too!
Tumblr media
Here's a lil snippet of the beginning of the chapter (:
“You talk to your Mama lately? She still likin’ Maine?”  It wasn’t a question you were expecting coming from Joel. You had told him about your mom around the time that she moved away, however long ago that was. You truly didn’t expect him to even remember. “We talk every week, she likes it there. Wants me to come experience a winter there, so I may go up for Christmas,” You explain, remembering back to conversation you two just had last week. She wanted you to feel what fluffy snow felt like and maybe go skiing with her.  It makes Joel’s heart sink a bit. Not because you would be visiting your mother, but instead you would not be here to spend Christmas with him and Sarah. He had already planned on making a spot for you at the dining table.  “That’d be nice,” He licks his lips, contemplating if he should say what he really wants to say, “‘M bettin’ she misses seein’ your beautiful face everyday.” You smile, your cheeks burning hot at Joel calling you beautiful. You knew you had to throw him off and give him a sarcastic response to keep him on his toes. “Gonna freeze my ass off there. May have to borrow some of your flannels.” He chuckles, tilting his head towards you, “You already havta’ have about four of my t-shirts, now that hoodie. You wanna raid me some more?” “If I’m remembering correctly, you said I just had to “get with you” to get clothes,” You’re whispering, leaning into him. You don’t want Sarah to hear the words you’re speaking to her father, “How many times do we need to go at it before I get one of those denim jackets you own?” He peers over at you. You smirk, quirking one eyebrow up. “You with me to get my clothes or somethin’?” “That and other things,” You tease, pulling away, leaning your back against the seat again.  Joel peers into the rear view mirror. Sarah is asleep, her headphones blasting her favorite pop album. He tilts his head towards you, his eyes not leaving the road, “You’ll havta remind me of those other things when we get home.” He could get used to always having you in his passenger seat.
and then the part you all have been waiting for (;;;;;
“What is going on here?” His voice scares you. You don’t even want to turn around in Joel’s lap to face him. Joel slowly helps you out of his lap, his eyes never leaving Tommy’s.  When you finally turn to face Tommy, his eyes are wild and bright red. He looks like he hasn’t showered in days, his longer hair greasy and standing in all sorts of directions. It’s not his appearance that scares you, it’s the energy he’s brought into Joel’s living room. It’s the same scary tension you experienced when he lashed out on you before.  Joel finally speaks up, clearing his throat. “What do you mean?” But Tommy isn’t talking to Joel. He’s looking at you.  “Are you fuckin’ my brother?” He’s pointing at you, his finger waving at you like an adult who’s scolding a child. You open your mouth, but you can’t say anything. Your throat is dry, the shock and terror taking ahold of your vocal cords.  “Tommy, we aren’t doing this.” Joel puts himself in between Tommy and you, ensuring he does not creep closer to you. You want to believe Tommy would never get physical with you, but the way he looks now, you are not one hundred percent positive.  “That’s not what I fuckin’ asking, Joel. Are you two sleepin’ together?”  His voice is booming, bouncing off every corner of the room. It makes you shrink three sizes.  Joel places his head up, warning him silently not to get any closer, “Tommy-” “Answer the fuckin’ question!” You want to curl into a ball. You knew this would fucking happen. You knew he would go insane.  You look at Joel finally. You realize your eyes were trained on Tommy in terror, unsure on how to console him. Joel licks his lips, rolling his eyes a bit. You just nod, trying to answer Tommy’s question without saying anything. You did not want him to realize how shaky your voice was.  Once he gets confirmation, all hell breaks loose. He’s pushing on Joel with his chest, screaming expletives at him.  “You’re a fuckin’ asshole! You fucked my girl-“ Before he can even finish the statement, Joel becomes a brick wall. He’s staring down at Tommy now, all the while snot is running down at his little brother’s face. He looked pathetic. As he nudges Joel’s chest, he hardly moves a millimeter. Joel does not even hesitate when he says the next words.  “Not your girl.”

The One I've Been Waiting For {Part 11 of 13}
Tumblr media
Word count: 1.9 K
Summary: Billy Hargrove is just one of the many students you're supposed to help. The last thing you expect from your interaction is that he'll start flirtt with you... Much less that Billy would stir up feelings you'd rather keep hidden. Despite the mutual sentiments that soon enough start to grow, there are a lot of reasons for whatever it is to be left alone, and one of them is your age...
{Stranger Things Masterlist}
A/N: In this story, reader is 5 years older than Billy, who's 18.
•••
Against All Odds
 You're happily chatting with your parents when the doorbell rings. You already introduced them to Tanya and Liam, but the big deal comes now. They both know you're with someone and have been asking about him ever since they got here yesterday night. But you told them to wait, to meet him in person. And now, it's time.
 “Is it the lucky guy?” Your mother asks, giving you a funny look.
 “Yup.” Holding back a smile, you rush to open the door.
 And the moment you pull it open, Billy grabs your arm and pulls you out, closing the door behind your back and crashing his lips to yours. You laugh through the kiss, wrapping your arms around his neck and parting your lips to let him deepen the kiss.
 “Happy Birthday.” He whispers when you pull back, a hand caressing your chin.
 “That was an amazing surprise.” You say, a bright smile on your lips.
 “Didn't want  your parents to see me attacking you like that, so...”
 “Good call.” You ask, raising an eyebrow at him.
 “Thanks, Princess,” Billy says as he takes something from his pocket. “I thought long and hard about it and-”
 “You have a new ring.” You notice, just before he shows you a small, square box. Furrowing your eyebrows, you get a little suspicious, but you push that thought away. It couldn't be a- “Holy shit!” You exclaim the moment he opens the box.
 “My new ring matches yours. Since we're getting married eventually, I thought you'd need this.” Your eyes raise from the ring to his face, tears starting to pool in your eyes. “Don't cry, Princess.” Billy takes your hand, sliding the ring on your finger. “Here. To make it official.”
 “Alright.” You whisper, pecking his lips. “Now let's get inside before they come looking for us or I burst into tears.” Taking his hand you guide him inside.
 When you get to the living room, both your parents immediately look at him. “So this is Billy.” Your father says, getting up and walking over, shaking Billy's hand. “You and I gotta talk, boy.”
 “Give him a break, Philip, he just got there. Don't scare him away.” Your mother stands up as well, smiling at him. “Nice to meet you, Billy.”
 “Mom, Dad... Billy and I need to tell you something.” Like ripping off a bandaid, you think. It's better to just tell them already. Tanya and Liam already know, and they gave you a hard time about it. But that was because they don't wanna lose you, and you don't wanna leave them. But this is life, and living far away doesn't mean you won't see them again. You'll visit, and they'll visit you too. “Guys, can you set the table for lunch?” You ask, and they nod, heading to the kitchen.
 “Something happened?” Your father inquires, eyeing Billy suspiciously.
 “No, no. It's just that...” Biting your lip, you wonder how you should say it. You don't know how they'll react. “I–”
 “I'll be moving to California and I asked (Y/N) to come with me,” Billy says, and you freeze, eyes on your parents to see how they'll respond to this.
 “Wait. What?” Your father asks. “You're going to move to the other side of the country?”
 “...Well, it'll be closer to Arizona.” You say with a smile because you know they'll like it. “It'll be so much easier for us to see each other.”
 They exchange a glance, and you see a shine in your mother's eyes. She was heartbroken when you left, and you know they'd both love to have you close. “Are you dropping out of college?” Philipp asks.
 “No, Dad. I'll just transfer there.”
 “Good. Because I won't allow you to give up on your dream. Not because of a guy, or anything.”
 That makes you smile, holding Billy's hand. “I won't. We... We'll do it together.”
 “You'll need a place to live, dear.” Your mother says, and you feel relieved. This isn't so bad. You know your parents will support you in every way, but you are nervous. Probably because you never thought anything like that would happen.
 “We'll rent an apartment,” Billy speaks up.
 “We can help with that. With some conditions, of course.”
 “What conditions, Dad?” You furrow your eyebrows, and your mom looks as confused as yourself.
 “I'll pay the rent until you graduate, (Y/N). To help you settle up and take some worry off your shoulders.”
 “You don't have to, dad. We can make it.” You assure him, nodding. “We want to make it by ourselves.”
 “Take it as a wedding gift,” Laura says, looking at her husband. Her words make you freeze, eyes wide. “Oh, honey, you think I didn't notice your rings?” She gestures at both your hands. Your father choked on air, also looking quite shocked. “If you're actually getting married, we could do better for a wedding gift.”
 “My daughter is getting married?” Philipp mutters, looking at the floor. He's probably freaking out on the inside.
 “We can give you a house there. Nothing huge, by the beach on one of those fancy neighborhoods, but a nice apartment for you to start your life together.” She smiles, and you don't even believe your ears. She should draw it, maybe it'd help you process the information.
 “No. No, no, no...” You say, waving your hands dismissively. “We're not getting married now. Just... Someday. Not immediately.”
 “Even so, rent is on me until you graduate. I won't be taking no for an answer.”
 Taking a deep breath, you nod. “Okay... Can we eat? I'm hungry.” Gesturing at the kitchen table, you're relieved when they start moving there.
 You put Liam and Tanya to cook today, and, much to your dismay, everything is great. You really wanted a reason to tease them, but this time, they got lucky. After the meal, you have lemon pie for dessert.
 “So, Billy,” Philipp says after finishing his slice. “What do you do for a living and what are your plans.”
 Oh no. Not this talking. “Dad, please...” You mutter, running a hand through your hair. The words come out fast because you don't want to go there. It's bad enough that you're 24 now, six years older than Billy until he turns nineteen.
 “I just want to know what his plans for the future are.”
 Swallowing hard, you sigh. Billy holds your hand under the table, and you look at his soft and reassuring eyes. “I'm still in High School, sir. We'll be moving to California in the Summer after I graduate and I'll work until she finishes college. Then I'll study too. I want to be a Marine Biologist.”
 Your parents look at each other, seeming a little confused. “Mom, Dad, listen... Billy is eighteen, I get that it's super strange that we-”
 “That's not it, that's not it.” You're cut off by Laura, shaking her head with a smirk on her lips. “It's just that we thought you were into older guys.”
 “Yeah, but... Billy showed up and...” You're blushing, looking down with a small smile on your lips. You put up many walls to keep Billy away, but in the battle between heart and mind, the heart won. And you love him, you want him. And yes, age is just a number. You're both adults, and you're both in love. “I fell for him.” That's why you're doing this, that's why you decided to let him in. Into your life, into your heart.
 “We still gotta talk, boy, you and I, but I can see you have strong feelings for each other. And as long as my daughter is happy, I'll support you.”
 “Thanks.” You say with a smile.
 “If we knew this would get so... Family stuff, we'd only come for the party,” Liam speaks up, and Tanya takes the deepest breath right before slapping him three times. “OUCH!! What the hell?!”
 “The party was a surprise!” She yells, making you laugh.
 “Don't bother. Liam let it out two weeks ago, I already knew.” Laughing, you stand up. “Never trust Liam with secrets, thought you already knew that.”
 “I'm still learning.” She elbows him, and he groans.
 The rest of the day goes by well, and the party happens when you get home after going out with Tanya so she can buy your gift. It wasn't a surprise, but the amazing decoration they made in only a couple of hours did surprise you. And this was the first time you and Billy were seen together. You did feel weird at first, with some looks and questions, but you also realized you didn't care. Billy is the one you love, and this happened. Against all odds, it happened. And you don't want to hide it anymore. So you kiss him, hug him, dance with him.
 On the next morning, before sunrise, you said goodbye to your parents. They'll drive to Indianapolis and then to the airport. It's always a little emotional, but since they know you'll be a lot closer in a while, they feel better.
 Then, time passes, and things remain the same. But Summer is getting closer.
 When you see you won't have enough points to get that trip to Miami, you resign from the Tutoring program, helping only Billy, Max, and her party when they need it. You also got busy with the transfer files, and one of your teachers knows someone from the University of California, who works on the same campus you'll be going to, and she will get you a paid internship at one of the clinics she owns.
 Things are going well, and every day is one less day on Billy's calendar. He's happy, you can see it on his face. And that makes you happy as well.
 Today, you're with him and Max in his living room, watching this movie Max was talking about nonstop. It's Saturday afternoon, and Neil and Susan will be out until late at night. Billy didn't want to be here, but since your video player is broken, you decided to come. So, laying your head on his shoulder, completely focused on this mystery movie.
 “You know she's gonna die, right?” Billy says, quite annoyed, as he always pretends to be. Because you know the difference. You learned to find the smile hidden behind it.
 “Shhh.” Max complains.
 “She's being stupid, she'll die.”
 “Billy, shut the hell up.” Max raises her voice a little, above the movie.
 “Guys, isn't it a little too loud? I can barely hear you.” Looking for the remote control, you only find it when Max sweeps it off your reach.
 “Leave it. It's like we're at the movie theater.”
 Rolling your eyes, you decide to let her have it, snuggling close to Billy again. “Kiss me if she dies.” He says in your ear.
 “Rule number one of movie watching. No kissing allowed.” You remind him, raising your head to look into his eyes, making your lips teasingly brush on his before pulling away with a smile.
 “But you gotta admit this chick is being stupid.” He gestures at the TV, and you have to nod. “When she dies-”
 “What the hell is going on here?” The loud voice, full of anger doesn't come from the TV. It comes from the front door, from a very furious Neil, who looks like he could murder all three of you. Maxine is the first to move, standing up to her feet. Billy tenses up behind you, and you both move at the same time. Part of you wants to run, but there's no way to go. And no excuses this time. You were on his couch, almost kissing Billy. And you're wearing his shirt. You're definitely not playing teacher to Max. “What is this slut doing in my house?”

Note - This is NOT Muichiro X reader, Muichiro sees the reader as a mother figure. Part of the Himejima found family AU
Late nights are when you found the most peace, living with three people who were still regaining their strength from a battle that left them permanently scarred and changed forever had you working around the clock, taking care of everyone but yourself. So when the sun went down and your family went to bed with it you stayed up, taking a few hours to yourself. Tonight was the last night you would have to yourself for a week. The remaining 3 hashira had decided to bring themselves and their family to your home for a week, having a family vacation in your home. It was special tonight, an extra night of pampering before endless work hosting guests and taking care of your family. After an extended amount of time relaxing in the hot springs a little ways away from your estate, you decided to relax in the back gardens. It was a clear night the stars were so bright, adding an ample amount of light to the garden you worked tirelessly on before the fight. Frogs croaked an old tune, one that had consistently lured you into the most peaceful sleep, but tonight it was a song that kept you awake, humming along to the tune. “Mom?” A smaller voice cut through the song, interrupting the melody and throwing you off track. “what are you doing?” Muichiro stepped out of the house, his kimono dragging behind him.
“I’m watching the stars sweetheart, come lay down” You scooted over on the quilt you were resting on. Allowing Muichiro to lay beside you. “what are you doing awake? You are always asleep by now. Are you in pain? Do you want me to make you something to eat? Tea?” You were getting up from the ground when Muichiro made a noise of disapproval, asking you to sit back down. “I just couldn’t sleep, no big deal. I’ve been thinking a lot” he lay on his back, looking at the stars. “Did I ever tell you about my brother? He reminds me of Sanemi sometimes. He was angry and rough on the outside, but he had good reason to be the way he was. He was trying to protect me, wanted to keep me safe. When we lost our parents he was angry at the world for betraying us as it had, but we still had each other.” You smiled at the boy. “You’ve had a very hard life, Mui. Your family did their best for you and each other. The world is a cruel place to the best of us. But you are here now, you’ve made it. Your family's sacrifices weren't for nothing.” The younger boy turned to you. “I’ve been thinking a lot. About what to do now. My father was a woodcutter but I couldn’t do that now, what can I do?” “Mui you can do anything you want now. Get proper sleep, and eat full meals. You don’t have to fight anymore, you can rest now. Be a regular 14-year-old boy. What do you want to do? Not what you think you should do. What do you want?” He sat quietly, contemplating what he truly wanted. He gave up after a few seconds shrugging. “well you got time to figure it out, for now just relax. Everyone is visiting tomorrow including Tanjiro and them for a party and then the Uzui’s, Sanemi, and Giyuu are staying for the rest of the week so just try to enjoy yourself. Also, I was told Kotetsu is coming in a few weeks once things settle down with the moves and everything. Now that they are out of work they’ve been moving out of the mountains and towards Tokyo I guess. It'll be interesting to hear about that. Maybe then they can finally work on Hotaru’s social skills. Find him a nice wife to ease him out” Muichiro giggled at the thought. He had carefully retold the story of Hotaru’s blind date failure. From what he had been told it was going well until the woman had spoken about the fact that swords and swordsmen were unneeded in today's society. Which Hotaru took very personally and subsequently ended the date right there. It was understandable but he threw a fit for days following the date and had worried the village chief.
“Yeah, hopefully, they all can live peacefully now” You nodded, settling further into the quilt as your eyes perused the endless stars in the sky. “Hey Mom” you hummed, turning towards him. “do you think it’s going to be okay now? That everyone will know it's safe?” “Well, I’m not sure. I figure it’ll take some time before everyone knows they don’t have to worry anymore about the demons. Eventually, I think there will be a time when people completely forget demons were a thing and it’s all thanks to you guys. You did this. I’m very proud of you, all of you. I’m so grateful I got all of you back home, I feel spoiled like a light was shined on upon me for being able to wake up with all of you in the house, alive and well.” Muichiro looked away, a watery chuckle coming from him. “Thanks, Mom” He shook his head, moving to get up “I’m going to actually sleep now. Goodnight Mom” he paused after a few steps towards the house, turning around to where you sat watching him leave. “I love you, thank you for everything” With a soft smile the boy turned back towards the house, disappearing into the darkness of the hallways.

WAAAHHH I just saw people have been posting about the project on Pinterest???
THANK YOU???
I am so pink oh my goodness aaa
I'll give some updates then so people know we're not just slackin', haha;;
This past week we've been hella busy with church, school, trying out programs, still figuring out the whole learning to drive thing, stuff with disability, etc... but especially with Valentine's Day & Moose's birthday.
CJ came up to visit which was really special & we got to eat out & get boba all together which was super nice as he doesn't live too close by ever since we moved a few years back.
I recently got most of my m3dz figured out so I might be able to start hrt within the next year, & it sounds like the date has been set for CJ & I to get married this April 29th!
On top of all this we recently found out that a couple other plans have been thrown into the mix:
Our folks are planning to head out for a week a few states away to spend time with family & celebrate our twin cousins' birthday & then they'll be goin to Medieval Times for Moose's birthday possibly with another friend or cousin.
My mom & I are gonna try & see a show with CJ & his mom if they're able to come for my 21st birthday (Which is March 13th!) & CJ's birthday is at the start of April.
Right before our wedding is my dad's birthday & we're gonna see another live performance in another state, & then right afterwards a few days later is gonna be the wedding.
We're just gonna make it small & Soukoku themed, but maybe years later from now when we're livin' alone & financially stable we might do a bigger more official wedding. We'll renew our vows, maybe have custom made suits, special stuff like that.
Somethin' we're hopin' to do is for the small one we might make custom Lego Minifigures to be in front of/above the cake & then if we save up... the four-six hundred bucks... we wanna get the Soukoku "wedding" figurines that came out a bit ago.
It's a dream.
Anyways, as for the actual project!
I'm still working on the script when I have time, I just got stumped since we don't have Golden Demon written yet- but I managed to come up with some content to fill in for during or after the scene plays out for now & continued from there.
Moose has decided to try & make two versions of Life's Better With A Little Party In It: one that's a trashy pop song, & one that's his own take on the song based on artists like YOASOBI. (Into the Night, Monster, Idol, etc...)
We're also thinking about making a Cover Album on the side to go with the soundtrack just for fun with covers of songs from bands & artists like ONE OK ROCK & Set It Off.
I'm still thinking I might go for making The I Was Screaming Your Name Through the Radio Project into an episodic animatic series, but with everything going on I might wait to record the actual script & songs until we've got most of the script & songs written out more at the least if not also until after I get a better microphone & possibly start injections. (Maybe I'll still do the first few chapters since they're just teens anyways but meh whatever; we'll see.)
I did do a drawing while I was free last night though & have been talking with my dad who's voice is basically his life & career about vocal training of sorts or if I should find classes online or something along those lines for it.
(Back to the drawing) I made a concept design for Moose's online/music persona AquaticSnow & a possible first EP/Album cover. I'm not sure I'll post it (yet?) since he might use it for stuff like his avatar, channel/s, music, etc but if I do it'll be on my personal main Tumblr, Instagram, & probably Deviantart & Twitter/X.
I'm also nervous about somebody tryin' to steal the art &/or concept.
Another reminder that I do have a personal server where I stream drawing, gaming, sometimes reading & writing, watch parties (movies, shows, etc...) & I post planning & updates for the project there!
.:Charli's Discord Server:.
( Don't forget to pick roles & read the rules! Otherwise you can't see the other chats;; )
Sorry 'bout the long post, haha;; we hope you all had a great Valentine's Day!
Charli

Tumblr media
After the what seemed like a long car drive, you finally arrive to Atsumu’s place. He knew you felt a bit uncomfortable and offered you to stay in the guest room. He asked if it was okay if he can sleep with Benji for the night which you agreed on. You asked to shower and he let you borrow one of his t-shirts to sleep. He got Benji ready for bed, and changed him into his Pjs that you had for him in your bag.
  The next morning, you woke up to Atsumu on the phone. "So you're telling me that I have to do a press conference?!" Said the man in a frustrated tone. Minutes later, he knocks on your door and asks to speak with you. "I spoke to my representative and he told me that Akira already broke the news about calling the engagement off. She's going off saying I cheated on her. And she already mentioned the press about you and Benjiro."
  Atsumu rests his head on the bed stressed out. He continues with, "now I have to go out and explain the situation. But I don't know if I want too." You grab his hand and try to encourage him. "Obviously you don't have to say everything but I do suggest you to go out there. You don't want to seem like a cheater either." You both smiled at one another. Benji gets up from bed and comes to you and Sumu. "Mama, Papa, I hungry." He says as he rubs his tummy. "Let's make pancakes?" Suggests Atsumu.
You guys all entered the dark kitchen and fix up some pancakes. Atsumu couldn't get enough of how adorable Benji is. He also couldn’t get enough of you in his oversized t-shirt. “If I can wake up every morning to this, it'll be amazing." Atsumu quietly says and you simply smiled.
"Hey so I want to know if you aren't busy today?" You asked as you guys were cleaning up. "No, I have practice today at 4 though." You nod your head and as he asks why. "I have to visit the school board today at 12, to see where I will be placed. And then I have a couple of apartment complexes to view." Atsumu eyes shot up bright. "You want me to go with you?" He asks just like an excited little Benji. You giggled and told him no. "I will like for you to watch Benji. Maybe spend more time with him." He liked your suggestion and agreed.
"If I don't come back by 3 to pick him up, please drop him off at my mom's. I'll let her know since I'm going over to change anyways." He agrees and takes both you and Benji back to your parents. He waited for you to freshen Benji up and get his stuff ready. You handed Sumu the bags of supplies and told him everything he needed to know. "Please if you need anything or have any questions call me Atsumu." He laughed hard at you. "Y/n, I'm not some type of babysitter, I'm his dad. Don't worry, everything will be okay." He tried to help your worries go away. "Oh, do not forget to give him his pain medicine for his arm okay."
You gave Benji plenty of hugs and kisses up until he became annoyed. "Y/n it's okay. He will be in good hands." You look at Atsumu with a worried expression. "It's just. I never leave him alone. I only did but with my sister. This is hard." He gave you a hug and laughed at you. "Look at you being all mama bear. At least I know he has always been in good hands." You smile and wave your good byes.
Okay l/n sama, you will be placed in Inarizaki and work as a counselor there." You were so excited, you right away called Maya to tell her the news. "We need to celebrate!" Says Maya. You girls hang up and you meet up with the realtor. He took you to three different apartments. The first one was nice but it was a bit far from work. You needed something close to work, your parents home, and to a day care. You noticed the realtor on a phone call.
   "I actually have another place to show you," you go to a very similar apartment complex building. You guys went to the fourth floor. "What do you think of this?" You did like it but you weren't sure. "It has the city view, it's close to your parents home and work. The day care is about a 10 min drive however." You looked around at the rooms. "It does have great space for my baby and I but it may be too much just for the both of us."
The realtor kept trying to convince you. "Well this place does have a play house where you can take your son. There's a spa, a pool, a gym, and they even have food courts!" You then asked for the pricing. That was when your realtor told you that someone was offering this to you. You heard a knock on the door and saw Atsumu and Benji walk in. "So, what do you think?" Says Atsumu with an amused tone. "I had a feeling you were behind this." You say as you lay a hand on your forehead.
"I'll allow you two to talk." And the realtor steps out. "It's nice but it may be expensive." He smiled at you. "I'll take care of the payments." You obviously refused. "Well, it's mine." And you sat there in confusion. " I bought it yesterday, so I owe mine and this one. Mine is on the 6th floor which is the top flooring here." You simply smiled.
"Look, I wanted you to live with me. But with all this commotion I'm having, I knew it was not a good idea. Plus, I already know you will reject my offer. But please, I want you and Benji to stay close to me." You took his offer and spoke to the realtor. "Sell all of your things in America, you will start fresh here." You thanked him by giving him a hug. Your arms were around his waist while your head rested by his chest. "Welcome home!!"
After thought:
Y/n finally settles in. So far everything is going well for her and Atsumu. They both have been focusing all of their attention on Benji. But what about them two? How far will their relationship go?
See you on the next chapter. 🥹

🎶 now playing: bubblegum bitch - MARINA
P: Ben Hargreeves x Fem!Reader
S: A kid at the convenience store becomes a friend. That kid soon has you head over heels. You never got the chance to tell him how you felt; even years go by and you still think about him. Yet you wonder if he'll ever wake up.
W: minor tua spoilers, angst, kinda rushed, possible inaccuracy, mentions of violence, death
N: This is in a similar format to my Finney blurb, and this does not follow the canonical storyline due to plot changes. Also, yes, MARINA inspired the name of this blurb because I had an opportunity and I took it. This fic is way too long for its own good.
please interact if you enjoy!
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
On the twelfth hour of the first day of October, 1986, forty-three women around the world simultaneously gave birth. None of the women showed any prior signs of pregnancy.
You were one of those kids.
Your mother said she went suddenly into labor in the middle of a date she was on with another guy, with the fact that he thought she was already married and was cheating on her husband. Ever since then, she raised you on her own.
Though your abilities remained dormant until certain situations arose.
2001
The bell of the door rings as you walk to the back of the convenience store, the fridge door hissing as it opens and letting out cool, refreshing air. You brows among the rows and rows of glass bottles staring down at you from their shelves, as if they're eagerly wanting to be picked.
You take a bottle of Crush soda off one of the racks, closing the door and noticing someone standing beside you.
He wore knee high socks, boy shorts, a blazer and some sort of sweater vest underneath with a black tie. "Hi." You greet out of nowhere, certainly catching the boy off guard. He acknowledges you, but hides his face. "You need help reaching something?" You ask, leaning against the glass door. He shakes his head while you respond with a shrug.
He watches you walk away past the shelf where you're out of view, the ding of the cash register and the chime of the door bell meaning you left already.
Every time you went to visit the store, he was there. He was there the next time you went, and the next time, and the next, doing the same thing he does all the time, staring at the soda fridge but not buying anything.
Sure, he could've been a window shopper, but he came back too often for it to be considered so.
The next time you went, you grabbed a drink for your mom, and there he was, staring at the fridge. "Hey." You send him a wave, him only nodding in response. "Um, you... how come you come here all the time but don't buy anything?" You ask. "My dad doesn't allow soda in the house. He doesn't want any of us drinking soda. He says it'll 'disrupt our endurance'." He air quotes.
"So you just come here all the time to stare at soda and torture yourself because you can't have it?" For the first time ever, you see something of a smile. "I just sneak out. My dad would kill me if he found out. I do want to buy something, but... I don't have any cash on me right now." He says, hands reaching into his pockets and pulling them out empty handed.
"I can pay." You offer. His head perks up. "Really?" He looks overly excited for a bottle of soda. Is his dad just super dietary restrictive? "Yeah. This bottle is for my mom anyways, so..." You trail off, gesturing to the fridge to let him pick. He opens the door, the standing there for what seems like ages before picking a bottle.
You toss the dollar bills on the cash register, the cashier handing you change. You give the boy his soda bottle, and he looks reluctant. "Are you gonna drink that?" You ask. "I'll save it for when I'm at home. I'll try to be stealthy about it, though." He looks away for a second, wanting to say something. "Um, thank you." He stutters. "You're welcome. I'm Y/N. You?"
"Ben. Ben Hargreeves." A smile creeps up onto your face at his shy demeanor. "Nice to finally meet you, I guess. I'll see you around." You say, walking away and leaving him alone on the sidewalk.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Ben sneaks back into his room, shutting the window quietly while being careful to have the glass bottle clank against anything and make noise.
"Hey, man." Diego greets, his face dropping. "Where the hell did you get that?" He points to the soda bottle in Ben's hand. "What– oh my god, dad's gonna kill you." Luther's face is the same as his brother's; covered in pure shock.
"I know. But the girl bought it for me, so..." Ben muttered. His brothers faces lit up mischievously. "The girl you run into every time you sneak out?'" Ben nods at Diego's question. "She talked to me. I got her name."
"Okay? So what is it?" Luther's fully invested in this mystery girl. "Y/N." Ben answers. "She's... she's very pretty." He adds, his brothers sending each other a look. "You've seen her a million times and the one time she talks to you... you finally find her pretty." Diego clarifies.
"Maybe because she was closer to me this time? Or she just seemed more open and–"
"Dude, we get it, you like her." Luther says, stopping Ben from rambling. "Okay, so... when's the wedding?" Diego jokes, both of his brothers rolling their eyes. Ben sneers, "You're so annoying."
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
"I think I finally figured it out. Where I've seen you before." You say abruptly, eating a potato chip. "Where?" He asks, curious. Frequent convenience store stakeouts for him helped grow your relationship, and now you're sitting on a flat apartment rooftop with him, legs hanging over the ledge, staring at the moon. He's been giving you hints as to where he was in the paper after claiming he was 'famous'.
"You're a Hargreeves kid. You were in the bank robbery hostage thing." You specified. "There you go, you got it. Everyone's seen it; I'm surprised it took you so long." He says in his usual calm, gentle tone. The heroic act was published in newspapers for weeks after it happened.
"I know this is like a really sudden and weird question but... did you kill them?" His face drops, now full of the panic that lurked closer and closer to his mind. "What?" He says, trying to keep his cool. "Oh, no, I just... I don't know, I just had a feeling. Um, it's a weird feeling but something's telling me that you killed the robbers. Pricks probably deserved it anyways so it doesn't really matter." You try to brush it off, but notice that your friend looks bashful.
"How did you know?" He asks, voice barely above a whisper. You find yourself at a loss for words, wanting to say something but unable to come up with a reasonable answer. "I don't know." You look at him, face darkened with guilt.
"I've had friends like you. They never become good people, continuously hurting people, even killing people on the street when they go out at the wrong time. They've caused massacres. Something about you is different." You pause, struggling to explain. "You never wanted to kill them, did you?" He shakes his head, looking down at the street below. "I'm sorry for bringing it up. It was a stupid thing to ask."
"No, no, it's fine." He claims, nodding profusely but it isn't enough to convince you. "It certainly isn't fine. No one would ever confess to a murder so easily."
"Please don't bring it up again. I-I never asked to kill them. It's something I can't control when... when I'm in the field." He admits. You simply look down with him, the tips of your fingers grazing his. You don't seem to notice, but he does. Though the air his cold, his face is warm, and he wonders if you're fine with it. He doesn't want to move his hand.
It's almost heartwarming. His mother would hold his hand sometimes yet it didn't feel as comforting as mere fingertips from you to his hand did. You do eventually notice, looking down at your loosely laced hands. You take his hand in yours out of nowhere, Ben's face flushing even more.
"Your hands are warm." You say simply. "Did you do that on purpose?" He asks while you look at him confused. "Do what on purpose?" He points to your intertwined hands, your lips curling into a smile. "Maybe. Do you like it?" You ask for good measure, unsure if he was okay with it in the first place. He nods. "If I didn't, I wouldn't be enjoying this as much as I am right now."

Finding out Ben's abilities was in the most unfortunate of circumstances. He said he had a shortcut to get home, and he said it was down a certain dark alleyway.
Nothing good ever happens in dark alleyways.
You both passed by a group of teens that looked about your age, thinking nothing of it until you felt a hand on your shoulder.
"Give me your wallet."
One of them demanded, turning you around with a knife in their other hand. "I don't have any. Spent it all." You said, trying to hide your nervousness. "Bullshit. Empty your pockets." She said, nudging her head. "I said I don't have anything–" The tip of her knife nearly digs into the underside of your chin with light pressure. "Empty your fucking pockets or I'll kill your boyfriend too." She threatens.
Out of nowhere, a roar erupts from behind you, the knife on your chin being pulled away. You turn to see Ben, tentacles coming out of his stomach out of some sort of void. You run to him but get grabbed by one of the teens, knife nearly impaling you. It's knocked out of their hands and drops to the floor with a clink. Instead of getting stabbed, the person who grabbed you is impaled with a tentacle, blood spraying everywhere.
The other two try to escape, one of them unlucky and suffering the same fate as their ally. The last girl runs off, dropping her knife and running away. You look at Ben whose drenched in blood, tentacles returning to the inside of his stomach and the void closing. He's wiping his face of blood and tears.
"I'm sorry. You never should've seen this." He says, but you hug him rather than his assumption of you running away. "You saved me. And you said those things weren't in your control. You never wanted to kill them. It's not your fault." You try to convince him, easier said than done. He hugs you back, sobbing into your shoulder.
As your route changed from low ground to high to avoid suspicion of the blood on your clothes, a question slips out.
"What was that girl's name? The one who tried to mug me?"
"Jennifer. I overheard them talking whenever I took this high route."
"She's one real bitch." Ben chuckles at your statement.
"Definitely. One real bitch."

2006
"Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit–" You push through the mosh of people crowding up to the caution tape surrounding the building. "Ben! Ben, where are you?!" You shoved people aside to get to the front, eyes meeting Luther's who are red from crying. "Luther! Where is he?" He hears you but only shakes his head. Sir Hargreeves stares at you for a second before his attention is focused back on the crowd, the frontline flooded with cameras and reporters.
"Fuck this." You mutter, going under the caution tape and running past the group of crying kids in their uniforms. "Y/N!" You hear Allison cry, but the adrenaline to find your friend is all you can think about right now. Allison looks at her father, who's staring at the entrance you just ran through.
Just as the police push in to go and chase you, he stops them with a shout. They back off and instead guard the entrance so no one else can enter. As much as they are confused, Allison is left relieved and surprised by her father's actions. He never knew about you. He wouldn't help someone who he doesn't have a reason to have pity for, if he had any in that stone cold body of his.
The rooms are dark, only illuminated by skylights in the ceiling. With the little light there is, you find a body laying on the ground, shattered glass around it. You carefully tread towards it, Ben's face aglow in the sun, staring straight up.
"Ben! Oh, Ben, oh my god, you're, you're hurt. How come you aren't– aren't with your siblings? Can you stand, can you see me? How many fingers am I holding up?" He chuckles with a struggle as you help him sit up with his back leaning on the desk. There's blood staining on his white undershirt and it's getting onto his blazer; it's practically everywhere on him. It seeps through the fabric moderately while you try to put pressure on it.
"Y/N... how did you get here? I thought my dad would've..." He winces slightly. His thumb wipes a stray tear you didn't know was resting on your cheek. "I don't know myself. I thought the police would come in after me. I thought I'd be shot dead." Right after the words come out of your mouth, he looks relaxed, tired.
"I think I'm gonna die here." He says so casually with a smile. "What? No, no, Ben, you aren't gonna die– look, the paramedics are on their way! They're coming! You'll be okay!" He shakes his head and looks down at your hands, gripping onto his blazer. "If I'd come out alive, I wouldn't be here. I'd be with my siblings outside for the press."
You're trying to hold back your tears, but fail miserably and start crying while your hands are stained with his blood. "Who did this to you?" You ask through foggy eyes. "Jennifer." He says, the name setting off a spark. "I'm not gonna make it." He groans, sighing with a smile.
"Don't say that. You're gonna be okay."
"I'm sorry, Y/N."
"No, don't apologize–"
"I love you. I always have.
His hand travels up to your face with the last bit of energy he has left in his body, his thumb wiping away another tear.
And it falls.
His arm slowly drops beside you, a small pool of blood on the floor. Your hands move to his shoulders, then to his face, his neck, his arms. "Ben? No, no, no no no..." You cry. He lays limp there against the desk as you scream, sobs spilling out your lips as a sudden energy rushes through you. Your hands rest on him while your head rests on his shoulder, feeling jolts of energy running through your body.
The lights flicker as you hear slow clapping from across the room. There's a figure standing in the dark hallway with a smirk and blood splattered on their face. "I did quite enjoy the show. Did you enjoy my hard work?" She smiles, arms crossed while you slowly stand up, giving her a death stare. The fire in you grows the longer that stupid smirk stays on her face.
"How many of them did you kill?" You ask, the lights flickering. "All of them. Except for his brothers and sisters who fled like mice." She takes a step forward, hand reaching out to the side as if she's reaching for something. "And you... you and your stupid boyfriend killed the last of my gang." Suddenly, a pillar crashes through the wall and flies at you, but you feel nothing on impact. It shatters into pieces that fall onto the ground, decorating the floor with its shared glass.
The lights haven't stopped flickering as a glow rushes through your veins, every projectile thrown at you being destroyed with the touch of your hand. There's panic on her face as you step closer with every object you manage to avoid, and ironically enough, she runs away. Flees like the Hargreeves she made fun of.
But she killed your friend. Your best friend. It was appropriate to not show mercy when she took something that mattered so much to you.
She definitely seemed like a raging narcissist, so what's better than taking away the thought of her being better than everybody else. In fact, why not take away the thought of her thinking at all?
A bolt of lighting emits from your hand, and reaches her, shocking her and causing her to lay limp on the floor. Your hand, glowing white and blue, grabs her by the neck with force and lifts her up in the air. Her airway is cut off, squirming as she does anything she can to breathe. All you do is stare at her, watching her struggle and suffer in your grasp, the fire in you now at its biggest; you can feel it rushing through every bone in your body.
You squeeze her neck, the veins in it flashing a bright white before her face freezes and her head hangs low. You let go of her, her body dropping to the floor with a thump.
She's dead. You killed her.
The lights stop flickering. Ben's body is still left by the desk unaffected somehow, but littered with dust from the pillars that were thrown at you. You kneel down in front of him, his blood staining your clothes being the last thing on your mind. Your hands rest on his chest, gentle jolts moving from your hands and to his chest. Tears flow from your eyes but not even a sob tumbles out of your lips.
Footsteps come from the other halls. You turn your head, panicked, wanting to escape but not leave Ben behind.
You'll see him in the hospital if he's still alive.

"Good evening, Ben. How are you feeling?"
"Mom?"
"Your father just passed away."
"What?"
"Do you need anything?"
"Where is everyone? Where are my siblings? Where is... where is Y/N?"
"I don't know where your siblings are, but I could ask Pogo where Y/N is."

2019
The Hargreeves eventually parted ways, while Ben's body remained comatose in the ward of their house. You visited every day, whenever you had time. Sir Hargreeves saw you at the hospital watching over Ben, and took you in for training. For 17 year old you recovering from grief, it was hard. It hurt like hell. Everything hurt.
Sir Hargreeves explained that your time, date of birth, and sudden labor from your mother had developed those electricity-related abilities that you were able to control. You forced yourself to think that it all made sense, when really, it didn't. Kind of like how Ben's abilities made him able to summon creatures from another dimension through his body. That certainly didn't make sense.
To find out Ben was comatose relieved you. They said his heart rate had already been reset with no need for the defibrillators. But he was alive, only unconscious. Grace always saw you come into the house ward, only greeting you with a smile before leaving the room. It seemed... robotic.
You managed to keep in touch with some of the Hargreeves siblings. You'd have chats with Allison during her breaks. Diego always sent you work updates when he worked for the police, but as a vigilante, he never spoke of his doings due to fear of tracing through digital footprint.
You worked as an astronomer, your love for space driving you to pursue it as a paying career. Sometimes it reminds you of when you'd stare up at the stars with Ben from the heights of an apartment building. You're laying on the couch, scrolling through the different channels on your TV when the news displays the death of one familiar person.
Sir Reginald Hargreeves.
Your attention is focused on the broadcast and the claims that were on the sliding title at the bottom of the screen. Your thoughts immediately drift to the reactions of his adoptive kids. He never developed an intimate bond with any of them, so how would they react to the news?
Wow. The age finally got to him. He was one persistent son of a bitch.
Allison, did u see the news?
I'm coming home as fast as I can
I was at a premiere
You shut your phone off, attention grabbed by a knock at the door. Though the face you see when you answer is not one you'd expect.
"Ben?"
His hands are stuffed in the pockets of his leather jacket. "Are you... real? How are you..." You touch his face, then his shoulders, then his arms, proving that this was not, in fact, his ghost coming to haunt you. "I've missed you." He says simply. You try not to gawk at him any longer and invite him inside.
He's focused on the TV, displaying the news of his father's death. "So she wasn't lying..." He mutters, staring at the TV with the same focus you gave. "She?" You ask. "Mom." He replies, standing behind the couch rather than taking a seat. "How did you find me?"
"Pogo. He knows just about everything."
"Even addresses? Creepy."
"Listen... when I was in that coma, I could see you. I could see my siblings, I could see who I wanted. I was in a black void and I was able to see anyone. But every single time, it brought me back to you." He says, his hand resting on yours. "You were aware you were in a coma? How?" He moves from the back of the couch to sit next to you. "When you were in the hospital to see me, I heard the doctors telling you."
You embrace him in a long-awaited hug, the first one you've had with him in a while. "Sorry, this is so much to process right now." Somehow, his last words before laying unconscious where he died come back to you. "Do you remember what you said before you passed out that day?" You ask, vividly remembering him saying 'I love you' as his 'last words'.
He pauses for a moment before answering. "I do." He looks you dead in the eye as you play with your thumbs nervously, looking for something to say. "Did you mean it?" Your nerves take control as panic rushes to your head. "I did. I do... I still love you. Even after all these years of me seeing you in a dark void of nothingness, you were always there." Your face is hot. You feel like a high-schooler being asked to a dance.
"I killed her. I killed Jennifer."
"I saw. It's not your fault. It never was. It was mine for killing her goons in that alley."
"I'm sorry."
"Don't be. We've both done things we can't be forgiven for."
Unsure of what to say next, you make the first move and kiss him, something you wanted to save when you were 18. He kissed back, eventually pulling away and looking at you. "How long have you wanted to do that?" He asked. "Since the day I realized I had a big, stupid crush on you." He smiles, kissing you once more on the couch when your phone vibrates in your pocket.
We're gonna meet at our old place
I'll see you there
Allison texted you, Ben reading off your screen as well. "Should we go now?" You ask, looking at his face which is a bit too close to yours. "We have time," he says, grabbing your phone and placing it on the coffee table.
"Let's make up for all that we missed."

Location: Taliah's Home. Mentions/Tags: Kaan (her father), Ayda ( her mom), Lousie (her father's girlfriend), Serkan (her Uncle), @colemonroe, @emiri-tezel, the club in general. Triggers: talks about death, grief, trauma. Summary: Taliah's father finally returns 'home' from business after months. He hasn't been home in almost an entire year and so, they have a lot to catch up on. Fatherly concern, decade-old confessions, emotional speeches and hope for the future.
"Well, better late than never." Taliah shrugs from her seat on the couch, staring at the presents now placed on the coffee table. They were supposed to be exchanged at Christmas, but at the last minute, her father had cancelled his trip and had only just gotten around to visiting. Still, it was a happy occasion, she loved to catch up whenever he came back and this time, she felt as though she had so much that was positive to tell him.
At least half an hour had gone by, she'd told him all about how her new role at the fire station was going, everything about July 4th, right down to running in and saving her friend's child. That earned a solid look of concern that was completely warranted, but she wouldn't let it take away from the fact she got lucky and actually saved a child's life. Taliah spared her father the details of her breakdown and chose to only tell him that she had been attending therapy sessions for a while now. She wasn't ashamed by it, why should she be? It takes strength to admit when you need help. That much she knew was true.
"That's all wonderful, kızım," [my daughter,] "I can see the difference in you. You look happier." Kaan nods, smiling warmly over at her. "I am happier." Taliah agrees, able to feel the difference in how she was just a few months ago. She hadn't got around to talking to him about Cole yet, saving that for last only because she knew she'd talk the most about that topic. "How long are you staying? I have the day off on Thursday. I can cook dinner, you me and Cole? It'll be nice." At least, it sounded nice in her imagination. "And Louise?" He says, causing Taliah to shuffle her shoulders in mild discomfort. "I didn't know you brought her with you." An honest comment and one that actually tracked because when he did come back here, she usually stayed in whatever luxurious all inclusive resort they'd been residing in. "She's my partner, Tali, I'd really like you two to share more than a couple of words. So, sure, I think dinner together sounds like a wonderful idea, give us all a chance to chat. You'd like her if you just give her a real chance." He speaks convincingly, and all Taliah can do is respond with a tight smile and enough grace to say "okay." Even if she didn't believe it for a second.
"It's long overdue, and I would like to catch up, especially since I haven't had the chance since you and Cole became an item." Nodding, he tried his best to smile but Taliah knew him well enough to see that something was off. "... Yeah," she mumbled. Before she could ask, he was already making an additional comment that had her mouth popping open. "I lost the bet," sighing, he leans forward to place his cup down. "Serkan and I, outside of the clubs bet, we had a foolish one between the two of us that we shook on maybe 5 or so years ago now. He bet $100 that you and Cole would get together in the next ten years. I bet that you wouldn't, I thought the two of you would just remain friends." Chuckling slightly, Taliah couldn't help but crinkle her nose a little, though she wasn't surprised there was yet another bet that happened in regards to them.
"Um, well yeah, we were friends. You know he's always been my closest friend, that hasn't changed." Even now they were in a relationship, it hadn't changed the fact that Cole was still her best friend, he always would be. "I'm a little surprised, actually, you're the first person to say they didn't see it coming a mile away." She comments, watching curiously as he shakes his head as if to suggest she's wrong. "I could see what everyone else did, I just never thought you'd act on it. The years had gone by and I guess I just assumed you were looking for someone... you know, different." Still with a polite smile, he hadn't meant any offence, but Taliah couldn't help but feel like he wasn't as happy for her as everyone else was.
"Different?" Scratching a little at her head, she shrugs her shoulders. "To be factual, I wasn't looking for anyone, period. If I was, maybe I'd have noticed what everyone else did a lot sooner, but, different?" Frowning, she shakes her head firmly. "No. He's always been everything I needed, you know how he treats me, you have seen how he cares." The way Taliah had always turned to Cole first, above everyone, her father knew the pair of them were bonded from the first time they met. "Oh, I know that, Taliah. I don't mean it the wrong way, Cole is a great man." Kaan nods, knowing it to be true, at least regarding his daughter. How could he ever forget how he sacrificed his freedom to protect her?
"He is a great man. So why is your face doing that thing it does when you're not being honest." Taliah folded her arms, finding herself just a little defensive and confused. "If you have something to say, dad, just say it." Adapting a firmer tone, she couldn't stand people who beat around the bush - whatever he was thinking? She wanted him to spit it out. Kaan sighed, knowing that tone all too well, remembering how his wife, her mother, had the exact same one whenever she got irate. "My sweet girl, I'm not saying I'm not happy for you, I am. But... As a father, I think there's a part of me that hoped that if you found someone to share your life with, it would be someone... Normal." His eyes partially squeezed shut as soon as the words came out, knowing that he hadn't really explained that the way he intended.
"Normal?" Taliah was taken aback by everything he said, but nothing stuck out to her more than that word. "Normal..." she repeated, leaning back in the chair. She knew what he meant by it, he was inadvertently saying that he wasn't thrilled that she'd chosen to share her life with someone belonging to the club. "Normal doesn't equal safe." Tilting her head to the side, a look of distant thought there in her eyes. "I thought Callum was normal. Look where that got me." Brown eyes watch as her father practically grimaces at the spoken name. "I understand why you would have your reservations as a father, but I think you're out of line. Cole, the club as a whole... They took us in like family, you know them. You know what they'd do to protect those they care about."
"I know, I know... It's just a worry, the things they do, the dangers, I can't handle the thought of you getting wrapped up in something because of how they live their lives. That's not me judging any of them, sweetheart, it's just my instinct to be concerned for you." Grappling with his own thoughts, he was trying his best to articulate exactly what he wanted to say, but he could see from the look on her face she was far from impressed. "Bullshit." Taliah scoffs. "I'm a grown woman now, I don't need your concern. Where were these instincts when I was 16? You moved us here to be with Serkan, you knew that meant the club too. You can't...." Pausing, she can't help but blow out a half breath, half laugh of pure disbelief. "You can't decide to be worried now, when that worry wasn't enough then to keep us at home and a world away from them all." Home being Turkey, that was. "What absolute bullshit, honestly." Pressing a thumb and finger over her eyes, she needed to take a minute, a breath. How could her father rain on her parade this way? Why couldn't he just be as happy for her as everyone else who loved her was?
"That's not fair, Taliah." Grumbling at her sees to her hand moving away from her face, eyes widened with surprise. "Oh, it's not fair, well fuck me, guess I didn't realise it wasn't fair. Must run in the family." Biting at him before she could even keep up with what was coming out her mouth, she would be lying if she didn't regret it. Not that it showed on her stubborn features and folded arms. "Meaning?" He asks, and she knew to expect that he would. "Meaning," a pause, a deep breath as she makes some attempt to form the words and do so carefully. Her intention was not to hurt him, but she felt so defensive right now that it was difficult to really articulate. "Was it fair for me when you uprooted us from home and brought us here? You needed your brother, don't think I don't understand that. It was just hard for me, I don't think you ever really thought about that." A slow shrug, she can see the wheels of confusion turning inside his head. "I wanted a new start for us, I..." He stops, not even knowing how to proceed, but luckily, she did. "You wanted to run away from your pain. Like I said, I understand. I never protested, but that doesn't mean I wanted the same. I just kept quiet because I knew it was what you needed, and I thought if it helped you, then it was worth it." Taliah admits. "But I was so... Isolated. We left behind everything. Everyone. All my friends, all the things that I was using to help me, it was gone, and we were here. Strange town, full of people who talked so fast I couldn't keep up. Because maybe you forgot, but I didn't have the world experience you did, nor the ability to be as fluent in this language as you were. Emiri tried her best, Serkan too, and so did Cole, but it didn't change the fact that for a long time, I didn't want to be here, I wanted to go home, and you didn't see me enough to notice."
"You never said..." His voice was quiet and his face, a vision of guilt he had never registered before. "You never asked." Taliah says, pulling in another deep breath. "Me, Serkan, the club, we made sure you kept your head above water because that's what you needed. It was Cole who did that for me, he didn't talk at me, he talked to me, with patience and kindness that helped me feel like I wasn't so alone. That's what helped me see that the entire club was doing their best to invite us into their world, into their family." Sitting forward, Taliah holds his gaze just so she can be sure he's listening. "I'm not trying to make you feel guilty... And I don't blame you, not for any of it. I just don't think you've ever let yourself think about how your decisions impacted me. The club saved your life and they certainly saved mine. So you can take your normal, and shove it. I don't need normal. I need them. I need Cole. They're my family."
"I know they are. Taliah! You've misunderstood what I was trying to say." Frustrated, he drags a hand over his face and lowers his head. Everything she'd just let spill out needed time to process. The fact she was right about it all only made him feel more ashamed than he already did. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry I did that to you. I... had no idea you felt so unhappy about the move. I thought it was what we both wanted. I didn't want to be there without..." He stops, even now, finding difficulty in talking about her mom. "And I just assumed you felt the same." His eyes are stung with tears, and Taliah can't help but feel bad about the way this all came tumbling out. "Dad, I don't need you to be sorry, I never did. I'm just trying to explain, because I think you need the reminder that the people you're worried about me being around are the same people you propelled me into as a teenager. The same people who helped us when they didn't have to. The dangers now were the same then, the only difference is I'm an adult now. I can decide for myself whether they're risks I want to take, and much like you, I've chosen to take them, with the knowledge that they're completely worth it. They're built differently, you know they are. Every one of those men would shield you from harm, every one of them, I could leave my drink with and know I'm not going to get spiked. They are good men at their core and I know now that being here, with them, with Cole, it's where I belong. So you can give your blessing or refuse it, your opinion really doesn't influence how I feel." Nodding her head firmly, she has to swallow the lump in her throat that threatens to show how shaken she is by her confessions. She doesn't want to crumble, she needs to be strong because this was the truth; it was her truth.
Her dad was silent for what felt like minutes, in reality, it was probably just a few seconds. "Serkan was the best man I ever knew, and back then, I didn't know what it meant for him to be a Son's founder. I knew a little, and suspected a lot, but what I knew in my heart was that he was a good man. It didn't take me long to see that the people he was surrounded by were just as good. So yes, Taliah, you have my blessing, of course you do. Maybe you forget that I too, have watched Cole grow up. And what he did for you back then, with no thought for his own consequences, it gets my highest respect. Anyone who would give up their freedom to protect my daughter is worthy of my daughter. I don't need you to tell me he's good at his heart, I can see it." Kaan breathes out slowly, keeping his eyes on his intertwined hands. "I've let you down more than I realised... And Cole never has. That's what you're telling me, isn't it?" He glances his eyes up at her with a gentle, sad yet knowing smile. "Not in such a black and white way, but yeah, I guess that's what I'm saying." Taliah whispers, not feeling great about knowing she's basically pushed her father down and gave him a kick for good measure. "You weren't the same after mom, but you did your best. You did what you had to, to survive. That's why I don't need you to be sorry. No regrets now, it worked out. I love this town now and I couldn't see myself anywhere else. The decision you made back then gave me everything I have now." Offering a smile, she feels a lot calmer now, but also incredibly sad.
"I'm still your father, I'll worry about your safety even if you were in an empty room. I really wish I could have been better for you, Tali. I'll be eternally sorry that I wasn't. More sorry for all the misery I caused you without noticing. I'm... glad you had people to help you when I couldn't." He nods, shifting in his seat. "I guess I've never shown it the way you needed me to, but you are my entire world, my child, and I'm so proud of you. I love you, Taliah, and I'm very pleased to hear that you're happier than you've been in a long time. That's all I've ever wanted for you, is for you to be happy." He stands up, gesturing for her to do the same, and she does. "I'm in town for another couple of weeks. I'd like to spend most of it with you, if that's okay? Cole too." Opening his arms out, Taliah nods silently and walks in for a hug, finally choking on the breath she was trying to steady. "I'd like that." She mumbles, for all the raw truth that had been voiced, she also felt like this was something that needed to happen, perhaps now, they could understand each other better. "I'll see when Cole is free for dinner here one night. You... can bring Louise. I don't like her, dad, but I'll be civil, only because you clearly do." Even though Taliah thought Louise only wanted him for his money, she could try to be nice. "Well, don't strain yourself too hard," he jokes, leaning in to kiss her forehead. "I do appreciate the effort to be civil. Now, can I just clarify that you mean you'll be civil in the universal sense, or civil in Taliah sense?" He teases, already to Taliah's huffy annoyance as she gives him a shove. "Be grateful I'm even using the word civil!" Frowning, they held eye contact for a couple of seconds before bursting into a laugh that felt a lot like healing. Maybe, just maybe, they were going to be just fine now.

It kills me to love you (kai anderson x reader) part 4
he stood there nodding his head. "i understand" he said looking back "plus im no side bitch" i said turning around to look at him "its one or the other" i said moving past him "can you please leave im trying to get ready" i said. "to go where?" he asked. "no where i just wanna feel nice today" i said shrugging my shoulders. "ok...we have a meeting later at 12." he said looking at me before leaving. i hummed and got ready. i did my makeup, hair and got dressed. by the time i was done it was 9:30. i smiled at myself in the mirror. i ignored the band-aid on my head. i left my room and went downstairs. i walked into the kitchen and fixed me a cup of coffee. i finally felt relief as soon as the warm liquid hit my mouth. i smile again as i sip my coffee. "good morning" winter said looking at me. "morning" i said back. "how are you and ivy doing" i asked "were fine..." she said "and oz?" i asked "hes fine too...hes visiting ally today" she said "are you really gonna be his second mom...i think you'll be great at it" i said "ivy wants me to...but i dont know...its just everything thats been happening with kai and all the killings we do...i dont want him to be exposed to it...hell me and ivy are both in this cult and nobody to take care of him when were gone" she said "yeah that is true...but i think you should be there for him. i wouldnt want him around allison...shes fucking crazy...she has so many phobias..." i said taking a sip of my coffee. "i know...ivy wants me to with her to pick up oz later..." she said. "she keeps saying it'll be fine but im scared allison will cause a scene and we really dont need that" she continued. "yeah...she'll be screaming "you fucked my wife you fucked my wife you bitch" i said laughing a bit. winter also laughed. "you look really nice" she said looking at my makeup and hair. "thanks...ok guess what meadow did this morning" i said. "what..." "so i woke up to see her in my room for some bullshit reason and she hit me with her bag so i fought her" i said "oh shes got some balls. i know how much you hate her...do you still have the hots for my brother?" she asked "yeah..." i said "dont worry i wont tell." she said walking closer. "i know you wont" i said smiling "well i should get going...ivy will be here any minute now..." she said backing up "ok then be safe" i said turning around and going out front. i sat on the porch with my coffee. kai has a really nice yard its so clean and the flower bed is beautiful. he has some really good yard guys. i finish my coffee and go inside to clean my dish. i lean over the sink as i wash my cup. "got a nice ass Y/N" i heard a familiar voice say. i turned around to see samuels looking at me, leaning on the island. "arent you gay?" i said "im not gay im masculine" he said a bit pissed. "sooo you like dick up your ass but your not gay? so...winter is masculine cause shes gay?" i asked "mind your manners" he said "mind yours and stop staring at my ass before i cut your dick off" i said pulling a knife from the drying rack. "what the fuck" kais voice over took the room "what the fuck? uh WHY the fuck are you everywhere!" i said looking at him "my house" he said "not rea- yeah its your house" i said realising i was about to cross a personal line with kai. he sighed a bit before leaving me and samuels alone again. i set the knife down and left to go to my room. i pulled out my phone and decided to just scroll on instagram for a while... i heard a knock on my door. "come in" i said looking. kai peeked his head inside. "meeting lets go" he said before shutting it. i stood up and left the room and followed kai down to the basement. no one was there yet so i just leaned against the wall in my usual spot. "Y/N...c'mere" kai said. i walked over to him and waited for what he was going to say. "wanna help me with something tonight? its really easy" he said "so your giving me easy shit now" i said chuckling a bit. "well i thought you deserved a bit of a break from working with meadow...but if you dont wa-" i cut him off "i'll do it i swear any day ill do it" i said a bit eager

You loved your side job. It consisted of babysitting the sweetest little girl, Ava.
And another bonus was seeing her very attractive father, Jonathan Levy.
You were in your last year of college, and you had just finished one of your classes just before spring break. You picked up Ava from her daycare and took her to Jonathan's house to pack what she needed for her mom's.
It's only been a couple of months since Jonathan and his now ex-wife Mira divorced. Since their separation, you were still a part of their lives, so you agreed to commute between them not to mess up Ava's routine drastically.
You were packing up Ava in your car when Jonathan came out.
“Here you go, honey,” he said, handing Ava one of her stuffed animals that you knew if she realized she didn't have it, she would meltdown in the car.
“Wow, I can't believe I missed that.”
“It happens. Y/N, there is something I've been meaning to ask you.”
You turn around and face him. He was standing so close to you. The smell of his morning coffee stained his scent, and you could hear the stutter in his breath.
You hum for him to continue with his thoughts.
“Oh, um, could you maybe house sit for me for a couple of days? I'm going to a conference just a couple of towns over. It'll be for tonight till Monday morning.”
“Yeah, of course. That's perfect. I have a paper due after break, so it'll be nice to get some peace and quiet.”
“Perfect, just come back after dropping Ava off.”
“Will do, boss,” you say, giving him a cheesy salute.
He chuckled and went back into his house. You watched as he walked away; he was so handsome and sweet you didn't understand why Mira would divorce him.
It wasn't like you hated Mira; she was a pretty good mom. You just hated what she did to him. You remember when they had their big fight, and he got drunk and called you. Yes, it was inappropriate, but he and you were good friends and just wanted to comfort him. To this day, he doesn't remember.
Once you clipped Ava in, you started the car and dropped her off at Mira's.
You unpacked your car and started to fill up Mira's car.
“Where are you guys heading again?” you ask, playing Tetris with the luggage.
“Just to visit my parents for the break.”
“That's right. Well, I hope you have a safe flight.”
Mira smiles, thanking you, and you give your hugs to Ava.
You go in your car, and Mira picks Ava up, waving goodbye to you.
You stopped by your dorm to grab your papers.
“So Y/N, you coming over to Kyles for the kickoff?” your roommate Sonia asked.
“Nah, Mr. Levy asked if I could house sit for him.”
She groaned in annoyance, “Ugh, Mr. Levy, this, Mr. Levy, that. Are you going to fuck him?”
“Excuse me?”
“God, Y/N, you've talked about this man for three years. And your wish finally came true. He got divorced; he's obviously single, so go after him.”
“I can't do that, Sonia, he's still in his mourning period, and I doubt he even likes me that way.”
“Remember when I picked you up from his house? You dropped your textbook on the ground, and when you bent down to pick it up, he was staring at your ass. Then we both made eye contact, and he looked at me like he had just been caught. Believe me. He likes you in that way.”
You said your goodbyes to her and then went back to his house.
Once up the driveway, you opened the door and saw him running around trying to find something.
“Hey, Mr. Levy, I'm back.”
“Hey Y/N, and for the last time, call me Jonathan.”
You mouth sorry and smile, “What are you looking for?”
“My watch. I swear I just had it. And now I'm going to be late because of it,”
He went on, and you went into the half bath, and it was sitting near the sink. You walked back out and handed it to him.
He smiles with relief, “Honestly, what would I do without you.”
He walks away, fitting the watch back on his wrist.
“Okay, give you some pizza money on the counter, and I believe you know the rest,” he grabbed his bag heading to the door, “and if anything happens, just remember I'm a couple of towns over, so call me any time.”
You nod, and he says goodbye getting into his car.
You lock up behind him and get started on your paper.
The paper didn't take long to finish, so you submitted it, and that was that.
You go to the living room and sit on the couch, scrolling on your phone. Then you get a facetime call from Sonia.
“Hey, everything okay?” you ask.
“All good, just got back to the dorm.”
“Alone? What didn't score at the party?”
“Not really; those girls can be clingy like I just wanna hook up.”
You laugh, “Well, I'm sorry for that.”
“How's the house? Getting creepy yet?”
“Not really,” a small purple light was seen from the corner of your eye, “just finished the paper,” it kept blinking.
“Girl, what's up with you? You hear something?”
“No, I keep seeing a blinking purple light.”
“Aliens?”
“No,” your eyes focus underneath the entertainment center, “It's a security camera.”
“Is it a white box with blue around the edges?”
“Um yeah.”
“Oh, my mama has one of those. When it's blinking purple, the main person who sets it up is watching the feed.”
“What? Someone is watching me?” you say in a low, calm tone.
“Yeah, maybe it's Mr. Levy; you should give him a show.”
“Goodnight, Sonia.”
She tried to protest, but you hung up anyway.
You tried to shake her words out of your head; you decided to put a movie on and make popcorn.
You laid down on the couch, letting the film absorb you.
He sat at the bar top with his colleagues at the hotel, glancing at his phone for what seemed like every second. He was just watching you lay there, watching as you grabbed some popcorn, let your tongue stick to one, and dragged it into your mouth.
Did you know he was watching? Was this just an act?
“Hey Levy, you okay?” one of the men at the bar asked.
“Yeah, just checking to see if my team made it to the playoffs,”
The men at the table agreed with what he said. He then looked back at his phone and saw that you had your overnight bag out and started to take your clothes off. He quickly excused himself and went to his hotel room.
You were changing right there in front of him. Then he thought about it for a second. Why was he doing this? You were like a member of the family. His daughter adorned you.
Then he thought about you, how you smile, how you smelled when you brush past him trying to catch Ava, how you look when you have just your undergarments on.
He went on autopilot and started palming himself against his room door, watching you change into your pajamas.
Okay, you admit it. You kind of hoped he was watching you. Like, how hot is that?
The light was still blinking purple, and you knew only he had access to it because he was trying to get rid of most of the things he and Mira shared.
Then you remembered something you packed. A toy. A simple, fun toy. You usually used it when you couldn't fall asleep or were stressed, but now you get to use it for pleasure.
You get up from the couch again and unzip the small bag and grab it from the base. It was a good size. It was small, but it filled your hole just right. It also had a little nub attached to it for your clit, and you loved that part.
You lay back on the couch, turn the toy on, and put the vibration up to your nipples.
Jonathan couldn't keep his eyes off you. There you were in his house about to play with yourself.
Mira used to joke with him about how she suspected you might have a crush on him, fuck he can't think about his ex-wife while hes touching himself to you.
He doesn't even remember when he got his dick out and was now on his bed. He was painfully hard, just the thought of your soft wet lips kissing his shaft and then having you swallow him.
“Fuck,” he moaned, allowed. Seeing you on the screen now, take your shorts off, and you rub the tip of your toy up and down your already soaked panties.
Thank god for HD cameras, he thought.
He watched as you threw your panties on the floor and spread your legs wide open just for him his own private viewing.
You tease yourself. You put the vibration right on your clit, and your head fell back in pleasure, and you felt yourself getting wetter and quickly inserted the toy, having it stretch you out.
You imagined Jonathan here with you, thrusting into you, making your tits bounce as he made you feel every inch of him.
You play with your nipple twisting them, moaning as the pain pleases you.
The rhythm of your hand started to pound harder into you. You were panting and moaning. You unknowingly slipped something out, “Fuck! Mr. Levy!”
He heard you loud and clear, which made him go even faster, cum was leaking from his tip, but hearing and seeing you, he knew he had to keep going.
Your moans were like music to his ears with the slip of his name mixed with some cuss words he was edging himself. He wanted to come when you did.
“Fuck, Y/N, that's it, baby, just like that.”
He heard your breathing become rapid, and he knew you were close.
“Come on, baby cum for me, fuck.”
You pressed your toy in you at an angle, and the vibrations on you caused you to squirt all over your hand.
“Holy shit, that was….”
“That was fucking amazing,” he said on his end.
He watched as you wiped your hand off and put on your pajama shirt. You stood up to go into the kitchen, but then you stopped. He was confused by this, and then he noticed you were picking up the security camera.
“Enjoy the show Mr. Levy?” you said with a devilish smile.
He got his shit together and left the hotel. You were about to have the best spring break ever.

The next morning, Megan got up and freshened up before heading to the living room. She was going to light the fire and warm up by it and was pleasantly surprised when she saw Iseul standing by it already. “Morning Is.” She said, smiling. Iseul smiled back, “Morning Megs.” She said, and she grinned as Megan stood next to her and reached out to warm herself from the flames. “Your pajamas are cute Megs, but you have to wear flannel ones for this trip or else you’re going to freeze your butt off.” She teased, and Megan grumbled good naturedly. “Yeah, you have a point. It’s nice when I’m sleeping in bed or snuggling with Tessie, but not so nice when I have to walk from my room to the living room.” She added and Iseul shook her head and smiled as she looked at Megan.
Iseul and Megan then sat on the couch and talked about stuff from college, their favorite tv shows, and Iseul’s eyes lit up when Megan said she likes watching Forged: San Myshuno. “My dad loves it, so whenever I go to visit him and mom, he and I will get some snacks and watch it together when it’s on and it’s kind of addicting.” Iseul grinned. “I always knew Haoran was cool.” She said. “What about me?” Megan joked. “I guess you're okay.” Iseul joked back and Megan poked her shoulder before she and Iseul laughed. Plus, Iseul brought up what happened in her life after she and Megan had stopped seeing each other. “I moved to Bridgeport for a bit and got a motorcycle which was definitely worth it.” Megan grinned. “Unfortunately I was dating this woman who didn't really love me the way I loved her, but I kept trying in the relationship until one day it got too exhausting and I realized she didn’t really like me as me, you know?” Megan nodded. “It’s her loss, Is. Because you’re amazing and handsome and funny and sweet and any woman would be lucky to be with you.” Iseul grinned. “Objectively handsome, not that I think you’re handsome in that way-stop making that face, Is.” Megan said laughing and blushing a bit as Iseul gave her a mischievous playful smile. “I’m sorry Megs, it’s just funny to see you rambling like you used to.” Iseul said, and Megan grinned before smacking Iseul’s arm lightly.
Megan also asked Iseul about how meeting Grace’s parents had gone. “It was pretty good.” Iseul bit her lip and added cautiously. "I love Gracie and her parents are sweet, I'm not trying to rag on them." Megan nodded. "Her mom is a bit traditional and thats not bad but she wants Grace and me to get married before we move in, and she's scandalized that we sleep over at each other's apartments and Grace wouldn't even hold my hand or kiss my cheek in front of her. I like her but I don't know how I feel about having her be my mom-in-law." Iseul confessed. "I understand." Megan said. "Did you talk to Grace about this?" She asked. "Kind of. I feel guilty telling her that I love her but I'm not sure about having her mom be so involved in our lives." Megan nodded. "I know, it is daunting. When I started dating Tess for real, it was an adjustment to have to go through the meeting the parents and having in-laws and their opinions on your relationship and such again. Thankfully my moms-in-law are amazing but it was definitely a challenge. Maybe talk to Grace and Amna, and it'll clear stuff up and it'll be worth it when you're married to Grace and you guys have two cats and a dog." Iseul grinned. "Yeah, I will, thanks Megs. Also you still remember that?" Megan rolled her eyes. "Duh, you'd always say that when you got married you'd adopt two cats and a dog with your wife." Iseul nodded, and she bit her lip. Back when she and Megan were dating in college, she'd constantly find herself thinking of getting married to Megan and the two of them living with their pets and having family come over and just being happy together. She had liked the idea a lot, but pushed it aside because she didn't know if Megan loved her back at the time. "Yeah, I still want that." She said half to herself and half to Megan now, and cleared her throat. "I mean marrying Grace and adopting a bunch of fur babies with her." She added quickly. Megan grinned. "Then I'll be the cool auntie for those fur babies who'll buy them gifts and such." She said, and Iseul grinned. "Deal, you'll take care of them with Tess every weekend." She joked. "Fine." Megan said, nudging Iseul’s shoulder with her own.

Today was a really nice day. I'm really glad we went to visit my parents. That was the best thing to do today. To finish celebrating our first year of marriage. It felt good.
I slept a little better last night. Sadly James did not. But they said they were alright when I got up. When my alarm went off I would stretch and give them a hug and then went to get dressed.
I love this dress. It always makes me feel like a princess. It was the dress I wore for the park party after our wedding so it'll always be special. And I love my new necklace and earrings and I was just feeling good.
We would leave around 845 and drove to get the Fulwilers.
They were not ready. Not terribly shocking. James would go inside while I waited in the car. James would come out a few minutes later to let me know that Tucker had had to talk to a doctor on the phone so he was still getting dressed. James tried to get me to come inside but I was plenty comfy in the car. And I also thought that if they all knew I was waiting in the car they would be faster.
I think it did help. And we were on the road around 920. Not to much later then I hoped.
It was really nice to see them. Tucker gave me a kiss on my cheek. And then we were off.
It was a two hour journey. They all talked about sports. I worked on some knitting. I scrolled on my phone and we told stories about childhood. It was a nice ride. There wasn't much traffic. I was just having a nice time.
Mom asked me to let her know when we were a few minutes away so she could put the dogs in her bedroom. And we got there at 1130.
And it was so nice to see them!! Hugs all around. Molly was already out so Anne and Tucker got to meet her and James continues to say she is the best dog. Which is true. But once everyone was settled and sitting mom let the other two out and they were all super sweet, even if they were very jumpy for a bit.
It was nice to hug my dad and my mom. They were both looking good. I am still frustrated with mom's dentures and I want her to go somewhere to have them for them better because I worry about her being uncomfortable. But at least dad is doing better with his comfort of his leg. He said they changed the height of the one and it helped a lot. So that's awesome. He was able to walk with a cane for a bit and seems more steady for the most part.
Anne, Tucker, James, and my mom were all talking on one side of the living room and I was focusing on dad. He was talking about the letter the union sent him about the little ceremony they are having tonight, that they were going to present pins for being in the union for 45 years. He had decided not to go and when he told me that a couple weeks ago it made me sad. He deserves to have his special pin. And he really teed me up to pull out the pin I got him from my purse.
And you should have seen his face. He absolutely lit up and it made my whole day it was great. He seemed blown away and so grateful and I was just so happy that I thought to do that. And I got a 50, 55, and a 60 so I'm ready for the next twenty years of union membership. Dad said it was nice that we have that goal to shoot for. He better be alive for those, he promised me 111.
I would bring Anne to my room and shoed her some of my art. It was fun to show off some of the pieces I have there. I did not bring her to the basement studio to show her the work there but that's alright. It was still fun.
We would load into the cars soon to go have lunch at Carlucci's.
I like Carlucci's and they were really nice about getting both of our dads in there safely and didn't knock anyone over. They sat us at a round half table half booth. All the ladies sat on the booth side and the guys were in the chairs. It was funny because none of the ladies feet reached the ground. Silly.
The menu is slightly overwhelming. There aren't a lot of vegetarian options but I ended up getting the eggplant arnauld and a salad. Basically everyone else got seafood bisque which is apparently great. Everyone seemed very happy with it. I liked the bread they brought to the table.
We had excellent conversations. About our marriage. Our DC trip. Medical stuff. I showed off my new jewelery that James got for me. It was fun and the food was really good. James let me try one of their cheese pockets which was very good. I enjoyed hanging out with everyone.
We did get desserts to share. Anne got a cannoli that she shared with Tucker, mom got a limoncello cake she shared with me, and I got a cream brulee that I shared with James. It was great. I had a great time.
I enjoyed talking to everyone about work stuff and research. I shared about my concerns with being a white girl teaching about indigenous people. Much like when mom worked with the African American history program and felt weird about being a spokes person. We are trying our best to do the right thing.
We finished up our meal. I stole all the mints until Anne asked for one. I would have given her more but she did not ask. So I have 7 mints. Excellent. Love butter mints.
We would head back to the house to get a few things mom had collected for me. She had gift wrapped some toilet paper for an anniversary gift which was very funny because your first wedding anniversary is paper. But also thank you for the useful gift!
I went down to the basement when we got back and collected the things mom had laid to the side for me. Then I insisted on everyone coming to the backyard to take a picture.
It was fun setting up a shot. Getting everyone to smile at the same time was a struggle but I teased everyone and did my best. I think it was nice to have a picture together.
The dogs came outside with us and we're being super cute. Molly had her cute little ears flopping around. They can be bad dogs but also they are the best dogs and I love visiting them.
But then it was time to go. I would normally stay for a few more hours but I didn't want to force everyone to do what I wanted. And we would get home around 5 so that would leave a lot of time for evening activities. So it was for the best.
Hugs all around. I love you, miss you already. And then we were off.
It was a pretty chill drive. James put on a podcast for the first hour. I worked on my knitting until my hands hurt and would spend a lot of time just scrolling on my phone. It was a nice drive though and we didn't have to deal with much traffic. We made great time. And dropped off Anne and Tucker at 445.
And we would get home around 5. Me and James would spend a little time discussing buying a house in our drove back from the Fulwilers. Interest rates are to crazy right now and we are hoping for next summer, more or less. But it seems like home prices in the area I want to live are going down or are at least are more inline with what we are hoping to pay. We have started saving for a down payment. And we are thinking about it a lot. It's fun to make plans and have dreams.
I accidently hit the car door on the street sign as soon as we parked. Oops. And as I was checking that out our friend Meagan ran over to return our spare keys which was pretty funny. She apparently saw us around the corner and followed us in her car. It was nice to see her.
We went upstairs and I would work on cleaning the frog tank. Again. I figured out how to take apart my tank vacuum to pinpoint on picking up the snails. I did have an issue where I picked up so many rocks but it's fine. I would go back and forth 5 or 6 times filling the tank and vacuuming over and over. Annoying. It's still not clean. I keep trying. Omelet seems to be doing well at least and doesn't seem bothered by all the nonsense going on in his tank.
James would go for a bike ride. And while they were gone I got a shower and got cozy. And I have just spent the evening chilling. And it's been really nice. Me and James have been hanging out for a while now. Sweetp was here. We're watching a mini doc about the church that did an illegal production of Hamilton. It is making us cringe so bad. But it's a lot of fun to watch it together.
It is time to go to bed now though. I have a busy day tomorrow. James had jury duty. And I have a meeting with creative alliance and then an adult group for a few hours. I think it will be a good day. I hope it is.
Sleep well everyone. Take care of eachother. Goodnight!
