What’s your role in the tragic play?
I was tagged by @nightwingshero to do this quiz. Thank you Jo! I’m sorry I’ve been absent on here! I do see your tags!!
I’m tagging @loopally @oathofoaks @starsandstormyseas @witchofinterest @pen-in-hand @umfleur it’s been a while since I’ve been on here doing anything so I’m sorry if I didn’t tag anyone I normally tag. If you see this and want to do it please play along too!
I’m on a Tokyo Revengers and Mandalorian high so I’m using my two Tokyo Revengers OCs and Mandalorian OC.
Maiko Kenamoto - Tokyo Revengers
bold protagonist
you're the star of the show, baby! and boy does that come with a lot of emotional turmoil. you have a seemingly endless supply of determination. whether you have a lot of goals, or one big one, you're constantly working towards it. you're pretty restless, and struggle with imposter syndrome and generally feeling like you should be doing more. your insecurity might not be immediately obvious to others, however, as you come across as very strong and bold. vulnerability is not your strong suit, and that's likely to be your downfall. if only you had just let people in, and asked for help... well, maybe this was always gonna be a tragedy.
Yoko Nomura - Tokyo Revengers
sweet supporting character
i wanna be your grandma so bad, please let me pinch your face and knit you a sweater. you're most likely the best friend of the protagonist, and there's some possible overlap between you and the narrator. you're sweet and try very hard to be selfless. you watch the ones you love descend into darkness, and make every effort to help them through it all. it's not enough. you keep trying to make it enough. you provide comic relief, a listening ear, a hug, advice── any method of support you can think of. your own personal tragedy isn't documented. sometimes you wish it was, even though you're the one who ensures it is not. you want people to care for you the way you do for others. but you refuse to ask for it, so you wait for others to read between the lines. they usually don't. at least you're the one who gets to survive the tragedy. no matter how many times you beg to trade places, it is always you at the end, sitting at someone else's grave.
Casali Purlan - The Mandalorian
sweet supporting character

Pre relationship: 2, 5, 7
Love: 2, 11, 13
For Maiko and Mitsuya? 🖤🖤🖤
Ah my favorite couple! I'm hyperfixating on them too much lately so thank you for sending this ask!!
Pre relationship
2. What was their first impression of each other?
That's funny because I'm currently working on chapter 2 of Break Away and I'm at the part where they're meeting for the first time haha!
So Maiko's first impression of Mitsuya is that he is not what she pictured when Yoko told her she knew a guy who could help sew up her leotard. She pictured a pretty average every day boy who was clean cut to be the one sewing up the hole, not a boy who looked like a delinquent but also had the kindest smile she ever saw. She felt calm around him once he started talking to her and she enjoyed hearing his knowledge on the stitching and fabric that was used on her leotard.
Mitsuya's first impression of Maiko was a little taken aback. He had this flustered girl who was talking almost a mile a minute and looked like the hole in her leotard was the end of the world. But once she calmed down and they started talking he saw a girl who was kind and polite, but something about her seemed stiff. Like she was relaxed after her frantic explanation of the situation, but she still seemed like she wasn't relaxed. But that could also have been the nerves from her upcoming ballet audition.
5. Did either of them try to resist their feelings?
Mitsuya absolutely did. He did, but didn't. He liked Maiko once he got to know her and hung out with her more. But he knew she had suitors that her parents were setting her up with and with who she is he didn't think he was worthy of her. He didn't believe that a girl with a rich upbringing like hers would want to date a guy who lived a poor and dangerous life.
7. What would their lives be like if they had never met?
Oh god! Mitsuya's would probably still consist of taking care of his sisters, school and the home ec club, and Toman. Fighting and family and friends.
Maiko's life would still be a very sheltered life. She would never get to experience anything that she did with Mitsuya and the others had she never met him. She'd never get to feel like a normal teenager and she would still be living the strict scheduled life that her parents have set up for her. She'd be married to a man that her parents picked out for her. She'd still be under her parents' thumbs and seen more as a trophy than a daughter. She'd be unhappy and she probably wouldn't even know it until it was too late.
Love
2. What are their primary love languages?
Mitsuya's I can see as words of affirmation because Maiko could totally use that so much. He would definitely be gift giving where he can. Mainly making her anything he thought she'd like and would look good in. He eventually helps her find her own style outside of the outfits her mother demands picks for her to wear. If he can't give her a gift it would definitely be acts of service. I can see him with a little bit of physical touch mixed in. He'd hold Maiko's hand whenever she gets nervous, he's noticed early on in their friendship how she clutches her hands when she's nervous so he grabs it whenever he sees her doing it. I can see him also kissing her hand and forehead as well to help calm her.
Maiko's would be gift giving. She likes to help get Mitsuya the best fabrics and supplies for any of his projects! When they first started hanging out she always offered to pay him and provide the supplies when he helped make her tutus and other dance costumes. Once they started dating she'd still get him those supplies, but then she'd start to see things that would make her think of him. Quality time for sure. She feels so warm and relaxed when she's around Mitsuya and she likes to spend time with him whenever she has the free time in her busy schedule. I also think physical touch would be hers too. Maybe not so much starting out. She's more shy when they start dating, but after a while she gets a little more brave and will hold his hand and kiss his cheek.
11. What are some songs that apply to their relationship, in-universe or otherwise?
I have a whole playlist for this story and them. I'm still adding more songs to it as I develop their relationship and the story, but some of my favorites are Treacherous by Taylor Swift, Love Story by Taylor Swift, Boy Like Me by New Medicine, I Hear a Symphony by Cody Fry, Young Love and Old Money by Elizabeth Gerardi, and Can't Help Falling in Love by Haley Reinhart.
13. Who remembers the little things?
Mitsuya. That's also just a headcanon I have for him in general. I can see him being the one to remember the smallest things. Maiko mentions liking something or wanting to try something for the first time and he'll get her it. Whether it's trying new food or taking her to some new place she's never visited before, he'll remember. He'll even notice the clothes that she looks the most comfortable in while wearing and the colors she likes to wear the most so he can incorporate it all into any clothes he makes her. He even remembers which ballets are her favorites to watch and which are her favorites to perform.

WIP Day!
I was tagged by the amazing @nightwingshero Thank you!
I tag @loopally @pen-in-hand @kidawida @oathofoaksart @witchofinterest @umfleur @starsandstormyseas @apocalyvse and anyone else who’d like to try too! :D
I’ve been hooked on Tokyo Revengers lately and had started some stuff for future chapters so here’s the latest snippet I wrote.
Maiko giggled at Mitsuya’s face. She watched as the boy stared down at her, rubbing the back of his neck. He looked uncertain to say the least.
“So you want me to just pick you up?” he asked after a moment.
“Yes please. I have to practice this routine, but my partner has cram school and he couldn’t make our extra practice.” Maiko smiled up at Mitsuya.
“Do I have to dance?”
A small gasp came from behind the two. They turned around to see Luna and Mana staring at them, both with stars in their eyes.
“Takashi, you and Himai will be an actual prince and princess dancing together!” Luna said in a whispered shout. Her face was beaming as she stared at her brother and his girlfriend making Maiko laugh at the little girls’ antics.
Maiko gave a warm smile to the sisters before turning back to Mitsuya who was sighing at his sisters. The dark haired girl could feel her heart beat a little quicker as she waited for her boyfriend’s response.
Boyfriend. That was still something the young girl was getting used to saying, but at the same time she didn’t mind. A blush creeped up on her cheeks as she watched Mitsuya move his hand from behind his head to his hip. Looking at him he seemed to hold himself so confidently compared to herself. Maiko looked down at her hands, squeezing them together. But just as she did, a hand reached out and grabbed one of her hands.
“Hey, don’t worry,” Mitsuya said, pulling her hand away from her, “I can help. You’ll just have to direct me on what to do. But I’m sure I’ll be fine with a great teacher.” He winked at her and chuckled when he saw the blush on her face deepen.
“Thank you,Takashi,” Maiko giggled. “I’m not worried. You won’t have to do any dancing. I just need help with the lifts so I can practice my posture during the lifts.”
“Alright, sounds easy enough,” Mitsuya said, letting her hand go.
WIth one last smile, Maiko turned around, facing the mirror on the other side of the room. She took a deep breath, slowly letting it out as she gradually brought her focus to the dance.
“Okay, for this lift,” Maiko said, glancing over her shoulder at the lilac haired boy, “I’ll need you to put your hands on my waist.” The ballerina watched through the mirror as Mitsuya raised his hands to hover over her waist. Maiko giggled when he asked if it was okay. “Don’t worry, Takashi, I don’t mind. I have had plenty of male partners grab my waist. But I do appreciate you asking!” She nodded her head as Mitsuya finally placed his hands on her waist. “Now when I jump, I’ll need your help to lift me up into the air. Once I’m in the air, I’ll need you to move your left hand to wrap around my leg.” She pointed at her leg. “Right above the knee, and the other will wrap around my waist to help support my body.”
“Okay, got it,” Mitsuya said, more to himself as he thought over the instructions.
“One, two, three, and lift!” Maiko said as she jumped on the last word.
As soon as she jumped she felt Mitsuya’s grip on her waist tighten and soon she was in the air. In a second she felt her body fall, but right before it was too late, Mitsuya switched his hold on her. It wasn’t perfect, but it was a good start.
“Close,” Maiko said as she was gently placed back on the ground. “You need to bring your hand under my leg and above the knee, not below.”
“Sorry about that, Maiko.”
“Oh no you did great, Takashi!” Maiko beamed, smiling up at the boy. “It was a great first try. Let’s try it again.”
The two got back into their position and just as before Maiko counted down and Mitsuya lifted her in the air. The pair continued this for a couple more tries. Mitsuya’s grip would slip, nearly dropping Maiko causing a lot of apologies to come out of it. Other moments were misplaced hands that didn’t help Maiko with her posture for the lift. There were giggles throughout the process, from Maiko, Mitsuya, and the girls making light of the mistakes. But after the number of tries the couple were able to get the lift just right.
Arching her back and raising her arms, Maiko got into her pose. She glanced in the mirror, adjusting herself as needed when her eyes glanced up at Mitsuya. There was a gentle smile on his face as he watched her practice that immediately brought a tiny blush to the girl’s face.
“Feeling alright, love?” Mitsuya teased, grinning more when he heard a squeak come from his girlfriend. Moving his hands back to her waist, he gently set her back on her feet. “That wasn’t too bad, after the twentieth time.”
“That was so cool!” Luna cheered, standing up and jumping up and down.
“So cool!” Mana said, mimicking her older sister.
“Thank you, Luna, Mana,” Maiko said, smiling as she waved at the two. She turned back to Mitsuya, her hands landing in front of her as always.
“Told you, I’ll be fine with a great teacher.” Mitsuya grinned down at Maiko, watching as she blushed again and laughed with him.
“Are you ready for the next lift?”
Mitsuya nodded. “Yeah I’m pretty ready after the first one.”
“This will be a little harder than the first. You’ll have your hands starting on my waist again to lift me, but the lift will be higher and you’ll have to quickly change your hands’ positions,” Maiko informed. She glanced up at her boyfriend, feeling the nerves kicking in. “My partner and I are still trying to master this lift. It requires you to hold me in the air up above you. You’ll need to keep your arms straight. I’ll look like I’m trying to fly in the air. Um like Superman I guess?”
A loud laugh came from Mitsuya. “You’ve been listening to Baji too much haven’t you.”
“Baji and Yoko and Chifuyu,” Maiko giggled. “Are you okay with that lift?”
“I think I can manage,” the boy answered. “Whenever you’re ready.”
Once again, the couple got into place. As soon as Mitsuya’s hands were on her waist, Maiko counted down. Just as the last lift, Maiko was in the air and felt Mitsuya’s hands shift. She felt him holding her up and she began to fix her posture.  But just as he did, Maiko heard a soft “shit” come from Mitsuya and next thing she knew a small shriek pushed past her lips and she began to fall.
Everything happened very quickly. A shout of “Maiko” followed by arms quickly wrapping around her body then the sound and feeling of their bodies hitting the floor were all Maiko could make out as the world went by in a blur.
Eyes squeezed tight, Maiko felt her hands gripping something soft. Slowly, she opened her eyes and was met with lavender ones staring back at her. Her nose was pressed against Mitsuya’s as the two laid on the floor. Heat rose to Maiko’s face as she realized she was laying on top of him, the boy’s arms wrapped tightly around her as he laid under her, having taken most of the damage from the fall.
“Maiko, are you okay?” Mitsuya asked breathlessly.
Swallowing, Maiko nodded. “Uh huh…”
“Good.”
The two fell silent as neither moved. They continued to stay on the ground, catching their breaths. Maiko could still feel her hands shaking, making her grip Mitsuya’s jacket even tighter. Her body couldn’t relax as she thought about the near fall. She’s had plenty of falls before, but hearing Mitsuya’s panic didn’t ease her worry with this one.
After a moment, Maiko felt Mitsuya’s hold on her tighten. She continued to stare into his eyes, noticing something different in them. A moment later her eyes widened as she felt the boy lean his head closer to hers. He wasn’t saying anything, taking the girl by surprise as he continued to hold her to him. She could feel his warm breath fanning across her face, adding to the heat that was already enveloping it. She felt his lips brushing against her own.
“Are you guys going to kiss?”
Eyes widening, Maiko’s head whipped over to where Luna and Mana were. Mana had her face hidden behind her hands, but her eyes were peeking through her fingers. Luna on the other hand was grinning from ear to ear, watching the two as if they were some sort of tv show that was there for her entertainment.
A grumble came from Mitsuya, making Maiko turn back to him. The boy’s gaze was no longer looking at her and gentle, but up at the ceiling with a sharp glare.
“Well are you?”
“Luna! Knock it off!” Mitsuya shouted as he slowly sat up. He brought Maiko with him, keeping her in his lap and keeping his hands on her waist. “Are you sure you’re okay, Maiko?”
“Ye-yeah I’m fine,” Maiko stuttered, eyes still wide as she stared up at him. “Just a little shocked from the fall.”
“I’m so sorry about that,” he apologized, shifting her off his lap and to the floor. He stood up and offered her a hand. “I thought I had it, but my hand slipped.” The boy continued to hold her hand even after she was back on her feet and he gave it a squeeze. “Do you want to try it again?”
Maiko shook her head. “No, I think we’re good on the lifts. I’ll have to wait for my partner to keep practicing them. But thank you so much for helping me, Takashi!”
“Of course, love, happy to help out!”

New Story
Tumblr media
A Tokyo Revengers fanfic
Takashi Mitsuya/OC
Cover by the amazing and lovely @pen-in-hand!!! Thank you Kita! I always love your edits!
Break Away
Maiko Kenamoto lives a privileged life. Her father runs one of the most successful companies in all of Japan and she has everything she needs in her sheltered life. She gets private lessons for ballet. She gets straight As. She's part of the student council. But when her classmate takes her to meet Takashi Mitsuya to fix her torn ballet tutu, her world view broadens. Her new friends show her how to be a teenager and show her the things she missed growing up. But when a new gang hits the streets of Akasaka, Maiko begins to learn the dangers of gangs.
I finally finished the first chapter to my new story. I’ve been working on Maiko for months now with no intention of writing an actual story, but I had the sudden urge to actually create a story for her so here we are. I hope you all enjoy it!

okay so! what can you tell me about break away?
Sorry for the late reply! I just got back from vacation and wasn’t on here much haha
What I can tell you about Break Away is that it’s about this rich teen girl who’s “the golden child”. Basically her parents hardly treat her as a daughter (if at all) and more of a trophy to show off to friends. They expect the best from her and she does her best but always ends up second place if anything. She tries to get leads in ballet productions but gets like second lead or just ensemble. She’s part of the student council and Vice President of her class, never president.
Maiko doesn’t realize how sheltered her life is until her classmate, my other OC, Yoko Nomura takes her to meet Mitsuya. Maiko’s tutu has a tear in it and Yoko knows Mitsuya from her friends Baji and Chifuyu and she knows Mitsuya is the best at what he does with making clothes so he’d be the best choice.
Yoko will make appearances since she’s friends with the gang, but it’s mostly about Maiko and her developing relationship with Mitsuya and how thanks to him and the gang she realizes what she’s missed out on in her childhood thanks to her parents. The gang start showing her movies, food, and other things normal teenagers experience that she’s been kept from and she slowly realizes how her parents treat her.
Maiko also eventually realizes that her dad got to be where he is with his company by some unsavory means making her see an even darker side of him.
I’m honestly really excited about this story and I hope I don’t lose the steam to write this. I have so many ideas and I think this will become a top 5 favorite of my fanfics.

1,15 and 23 + maiko & takashi!
Ah I'm so sorry for the late reply! I've been busy packing up for a move and just everything in between. But thank you so much for the asks! I got so excited to see one for Maiko and Mitsuya!!
how did they first kiss?
Oof so I unfortunately can't answer that. I'm not entirely sure myself. But I figure it's some sweet moment between them. Maybe after a date or after one of Maiko's recitals.
15. what habits of the other drives them crazy?
Maiko would have to say she doesn't like when Mitsuya gets obsessed with his projects. When he gets really into a design he tends to hole himself up in his room. He'll remember to take care of his sisters, but sometimes he forgets to take care of himself so Maiko gets worried when he does this. She can't cook since she grew up with chefs, but she's learning some recipes from them to bring to him when he gets like this.
Mitsuya seems like such a patient person to me, but I feel like no matter how patient he is there's something with everyone that bugs him. He's husband material, but no one's perfect lol. I'd say after awhile he'd probably get impatient with Maiko's hesitancy to stand up to her parents. He knows she has it in her, but she just needs to do it so she can be happier.
23. who steals the blankets?
Probably Mitsuya. Maiko is pretty still when she sleeps. "Perfect" in everything she does, Miss "Golden Child". But I also think it would be funny to see Miss "Golden Child" actually be a mess when she's asleep when she doesn't even realize it. This question could go either way for me honestly.

33,37 and 40!
33. which oc has the most genre awareness? which oc has the least?
I'm not entirely sure what this one means and had to google it I still wasn't entirely sure what it mean so clearly I have the least genre awareness but I'm going to take a shot at this. I'd say Marnie has the most because of the amount of reading she does and her love for literature. It's her favorite class after all. The one with the least amount would probably be Wes. Boy is somehow passing classes but barely.
37. which oc has the best handwriting? the worst?
Maiko would definitely have the best handwriting. Her parents expect her to be the best at everything so penmanship has to be perfect. The worst would go to Thorn probably. She takes fast notes during class. You'll find in splotches on her parchment because of how fast she writes. She's broken a lot of quill nibs throughout her years at Hogwarts.
40. if all your ocs were to get into a giant, mcu style fight, who would win?
Probably Marnie because she has magic. She can barely control it at first but once she has control she'd be hard to stop among all of my OCs. Maybe Thorn and Leila could stop her since they have magic too. So probably Thorn and Leila in the end now that I think about it. They'd tag team against Marnie.

my turn! favourite fandom to write for?
Oof that’s a hard one. A few years ago I would’ve said Marvel and the Madison twins. But now I think it’s between The Mandalorian, My Hero Academia, and Tokyo Revengers and the OCs they have. Casali, Yuriko, and Maiko. They’ve been my biggest muses as of late.

1, 20, 32, 43, 46, and 47 for Yuriko and Maiko for the oc asks? 🖤😘
So sorry for the late answer!
Age, Birthday, Star Sign
I only had their ages and hadn't thought of their birthdays haha. This took me a moment to decide on haha. The birthdays were picked randomly so sorry, I don't exactly have an in depth answer for the star signs. I don't know much about them other than what the zodiacs are.
Yuriko is 22 years old and her birthday is August 25th. Which I guess makes her a Virgo!
Maiko is 15 years old and her birthday is May 11th. She's a Taurus!
20. Clothing/Aesthetic
Yuriko's clothing varies from comfy clothes she can wear for rehearsals to jeans and a cute top. I guess she'd fall under the casual style. She's all about comfort, but can dress up for things. If it's something important, family parties (if it calls for something a little more dressy), business parties/dinners with Hideaki and his company (when she's still with him), and dates she will dress up even more and wear a dress or an even nicer top. But daily she's about the comfort.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Maiko is a mix of things. Whenever she's not at school wearing her school uniform, she's at ballet or with friends. At ballet practice she's in her usual rehearsal outfits. If there's a dress rehearsal she's in whichever dance costume she has to wear. When it's not anything dance related her mother picks out what she wears in order to make sure she keeps up the Kenamoto family image. So it's a lot of very fancy clothes for a 15 year old to wear even if others are in a t shirt and jeans. But after hanging out and eventually dating Mitsuya, he starts to design clothes for her when he sees her smiling as she's testing out a piece he had been working on. I'd say with that style it's more on the romantic fashion style. It's similar to what her mother makes her wear in a sense, but it's less suffocating.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
32. What steps have they taken to overcome this conflict?
Yuriko's conflict is her thinking that Keigo is actually a part of the League of Villains which she eventually learned it was actually an undercover mission Hawks' is on. She was hurt, angry, and a little scared when she thought he was a villain. She didn't know how to bring it up or even if she should. She eventually tricks Hawks into telling her he was working with the League (using her quirk to trick him) and he eventually tells her what's going on. Now she has to deal with her boyfriend being undercover with the villains and worrying about his safety 24/7. She just supports him when and where she can.
Maiko's conflict is realizing that she's missed out on a lot throughout her childhood and realizing that she doesn't want to be this perfect golden child that her parents expect of her. She starts to learn and experience new things with her new friends from Toman and gets back a semblance of a childhood. Then there's the conflict involving her dad and a local gang which is a whole other deal, but ultimately her conflict is breaking out of her parents' grasp on her and her life.
43. What pokemon would your character be (if they’re already a pokemon/gijinka tell us what they are, and how that’s affected them)?
I could see Yuriko being a Meloetta or a Chatot. Chatot because of her quirk, mimic, but Meloetta because of the singing aspect of that pokemon. I lean towards Moletta more because it just has the aesthetic of Yuriko and the whole musical theater aspect of her life.
Maiko would be Kirlia or Liligant (the Hisuian version) because they both have elegant and ballerina looks to them and it's just Maiko! ~~I also did name my Liligant in Legends Arceus Maiko just for the fun of it haha~~
46. If this character was in a musical, what would their motif be (what kind of instruments do you hear, what’s the tempo, ect).
Yuriko would probably be something on the faster tempo side, but not too loud, like a good middle ground of loud and soft. Something probably intense or powerful/meaningful. Maybe a little sad sometimes with just what's going on in her life with Keigo and all, but ultimately pretty happy and energetic. Probably guitars playing, maybe a saxophone, and a piano. Throw in maybe a cello here and there.
Maiko would be soft and gentle. She's a ballerina and with how polite and kind she is, not to mention how sheltered she is from the world, I don't see anything but that. I can picture a piano, a flute or piccolo, and some violins.
47. What was this character’s biggest turning point in their life, something that changed them almost completely?
This one has a bit of spoilers for the stories in it so just a heads up!!
For Yuriko probably when she gets kidnapped by Dabi and used as bait to get at Hawks. She's experienced plenty of robberies during her retail job when she's not in a musical and even just casual villain attacks on the daily throughout the city. She's used to that. But she's never experienced anything like she does when she encounters Dabi and watches him kill a man right in front of her. It's because of this that she starts to have fears and nightmares after being someone who's never really had any fears other than during auditions.
Maiko's biggest turning point is when she finally realizes that her parents don't care about her. They only care that she makes them look good in front of others. It's when she's used as ransom by a gang to get more money from her father and how long it takes for her father to get to her that she realizes she's not that important. Just the family image. She thought that a turning point was just experiencing things with her friends and that she was finally living a normal life, but no. She's realized that despite the danger she was in, there was no urgency coming from her father and eventually she snaps at her parents.

1,3,5,9 and 15!
which oc has the best sleep schedule? the worst sleep schedule?
The one with the best sleep schedule would have to be Maiko. From a young age she's had a strict schedule enforced by her parents so bed time and waking up would be just as strict. The worst would probably be Tracey. With helping the Avengers from the tower/compound or going on the field with them it's a tiring job. She's also a bit of a workaholic and Bucky will find her wide awake at the worst hours trying to get things done. That or coming home late from missions does a lot to a person's sleep schedule.
3. what oc has the best music taste? the worst music taste?
This is a tough one. I'm not sure. I'd say Alex would have the best because she grew up with the Mercer brothers and all their music tastes and any that her uncle and Evelyn recommend to her. It's a wide range of classics to whatever the boys throw at her. Worst taste would probably go to Barry or Wes. I'd say they have good music taste, but probably known to ironically like the worst/most annoying songs out there. And then send them to their friends to annoy them.
5. what was an oc’s first slow dance song?*
Oh toughie. I can't think of any of my OC's first slow dance ever, but Tracey and Bucky's first slow dance was to As Time Goes By by Frank Sinatra.
9. what is one universe/story an oc would fit in to besides the one they live in?*
Marnie could probably fit into Marvel/MCU. I could see her and Wanda being really good friends haha and not because Wanda was an inspiration for Marnie when I was revamping her.
15. which oc has the most friends?
That would probably be a tie with Tracey, Barry, Aria, Wes, Marnie, and Maiko. Tracey and Barry have the Avengers, Aria and Wes have the kids from Auradon and the VKs, Marnie has the team, and Maiko has her friends from ballet and then Toman and those affiliated with the gang.

OC question of the week: What would history remember Maiko Kenamoto for? How would they become famous?
Oh my god hi! Thank you for the ask! This definitely made me smile. I miss writing for Maiko. I need to work on the next chapter of her story!
What history would remember Maiko as all depends on the timeline really. Maiko comes from a wealthy family so one timeline could see her as the daughter of that family who married some rich boy who took over her father's company when he retires. Another timeline would be her marrying Mitsuya and being his wife. But what I love is that in that timeline she is known as a famous dancer, not just fashion designer Mitsuya Takashi's wife. She's Mitsuya Maiko the famous ballet dancer.
There's so many different ways Maiko can become famous in Tokyo Revengers, but it all comes down to the timelines. Its so fun playing around with those routes.

WIP Day
I was tagged by the lovely @nightwingshero to share my WIP. Thank you girl!
I tag @pen-in-hand @loopally @umfleur @oathofoaks @kidawida @witchofinterest @starsandstormyseas and whoever else would like to participate. It’s been a while since I’ve been on here so if I didn’t tag you in here I’m sorry!
Here’s a snippet of the first chapter to my Tokyo Revengers fanfic I’m working on.
Music flowed all around Maiko. The notes flitted through the air, brushing against her and weaving between her legs as she danced. A gentle smile was on her face as she did an assemblé before she transitioned into an allegro. The bright tinkling of the piano keys added to the dance, helping Maiko convey the happy tone her character was showing to the audience.
She loved this moment. The feeling of getting lost within the song and dance. The bright lights shining on her as they blacked out the faces in the audience. It made her feel like she was the only one there. It was just her dancing for herself. The sound of her ballet shoes thumping against the ground with every landing leap and every step she made. The feeling of the tulle and nylon brushing against her legs or the sound of the swishing with every movement she made, it all added to the music, creating its own song. A moment of peace and clarity. She loved it
A quick leap across the floor and a bow of her head as she gently folded her arms over each other ended her routine.
Clapping brought her out of her dream state. Maiko blinked as she saw she wasn’t on the stage, but in the dance studio. She wasn’t wearing a grand tutu, but her leotard and her wrap skirt. It wasn’t the audience she had performed for, but for the other dancers, who stared up at her as they sat on the floor, clapping and smiling at their fellow dancer. The smile during her performance remained as she stood up and bowed to the instructor and then to the pianist.
“Wonderful Kenamoto,” the instructor said with her final claps. “Excellent work. I see you’ve been practicing hard for this audition, haven’t you?”
“Yes, Madame Okubo,” Maiko replied, her voice gentle as she continued to stand in front of everyone.
“Good good,” Madame Okubo said, nodding her head. She smiled one last time and waved her hand. “You may sit down.” She glanced around at the other dancers. “Teshima, you’re next.”
Maiko bowed once more before heading to the side of the room where the others sat. She gave a warm smile to Teshima, quickly wishing her good luck before taking her spot next to a girl in a light blue leotard with brown hair that was tied up in the same style as Maiko’s own hair.
“You did amazing, Kenamoto!” the girl whispered with a large grin.
“Thank you, Funai,” Maiko said. “Your performance earlier was amazing as well.”
“Oh please, it’s nothing compared to you,” Funai said, waving a dismissive hand. “Your routine was flawless. There’s no way you won’t get the part! I’ve seen you working so hard and you even mentioned your parents having you do extra practices with another instructor. It’s crazy if Madame Okubo doesn’t pick you for the lead.”

WIP
I haven’t posted in a while, but here’s something from the new Mitsuya x OC fanfic I’m writing for Tokyo Revengers. Enjoy and let me know what you think!
It was silent in the car. The chauffeur didn’t even have the radio playing the typical music Maiko’s father liked to listen to during car rides. The silence felt thick and the only faint sounds that could be heard was the faint rolling of the town car’s tires against the asphalt of the streets and the light hum of the air conditioning blowing throughout the vehicle. The tension Maiko felt with her father next to her reading his paperwork was worse than what she felt during bad auditions.
Glancing from outside the window, the young girl turned to her father. She opened her mouth only to close it for a moment, thinking over her words. What did she want to say to him? Did she want to yell at him? Ask why he didn’t show up on time? Why he didn’t stop his meeting to go save his only daughter from a bunch of gang members. Why that his only concern wasn’t her, but that she was ready for her audition tomorrow. Why was her father so casual when speaking with the delinquents? How did he know them? Why-
“Father…” Maiko finally spoke, eyes turning up to her father’s emotionless face. She flinched a little when his sharp gaze snapped over to her. She took a second to breath out before continuing. “What did those boys mean that you owed them more money? For what?”
Mr. Kenamoto remained silent for a moment, turning his attention back to the paperwork in hand. After a minute of his eyes scanning over the page, he moved it behind the stack getting ready to read the next page. Without even turning to look at his daughter he answered.
“Remember what I’ve told you about making sure you’re one step ahead of your competition.”
Maiko’s eyes widened. Her mind buzzed with thoughts of what her father could mean before she froze. Memories of the garden party from last weekend popped up. How the adults all gossiped about the Andō family and how they got caught in a mugging. How Mr. Andō didn’t make it. How he had been shot, directly in the chest. Flashes of Naomi Andō’s crying face at school appeared.
Slowly, Maiko turned her wide eyed stare back to the window and watched as the scenery blurred past them. Her stomach churned, terrified of what lengths her father has gone to for his company.
